00:01:24.000 But I also went because I was told that the movie basically ends with yours truly, which it does.

00:01:39.000 I guess I'm this symbol of all that's wrong in the world to the left.

00:01:44.000 And so they have to misrepresent who I am and what I stand for.

00:01:50.000 But there's one part in the film, and I think the film's well done.

00:01:54.000 Hollywood's attacking it and giving it bad reviews, or mixed reviews, because It humanizes Dick Cheney, makes him look like a terrible sociopath, but it still humanizes him to a certain extent.

00:02:07.000 Oh, that's kind of an oxymoron, humanizing a sociopath.

00:02:12.000 And it's a big apology, you know, for the Democrats, a big cover-up.

00:02:30.000 But they also have a scene early on in the beginning that shows an image that I remember seeing last year and I remember wanting to make the point about the photograph and the video we're going to show that was made in the film and pinching myself that I hadn't made that point last year.

00:14:08.000 Now, if you can become callous or blind to fires in California or fires in Washington or fires wherever, and not even be upset at the government that has policies in place for 30 years not letting you cut fire breaks that have allowed the epidemic, well, what are you going to do about things you can't see, like gravity?

01:49:44.000 Well, it's going to be even easier for whoever the Democrats nominate to beat Trump when we are in a massive recession and they're going to blame it on tax cuts, on deregulation, on everything that Trump did is going to get blamed.

01:49:59.000 What Trump should have done when he was first elected Instead of trying to be popular and trying to make it easy, he should have basically delivered the bad news and basically said, look, you know, we've had eight years of a phony economy.

03:21:25.000 I think that we are going to have a recession and Trump is going to take the full blame for it.

03:21:36.000 Anybody that didn't see that hour, it would really be great to go back and listen to the podcast or watch the show, especially like the last 10 or 15 minutes, because I think that Schiff's, what do you call it, the ball, the crystal ball, I think it's in pretty clear focus there.

03:23:47.000 The Democrats are going to go absolutely crazy because they think that they've turned the tide against Trumpism.

03:23:55.000 That with the Congress coming in, they're going to be able to move forward with all these investigations and try to impeach him.

03:24:02.000 Whether they succeed in impeaching him and kicking him out or just crippling him the way that Bill Clinton was impeached but not removed by the Senate.

03:24:20.000 With the economy, the bubble popping and we're probably going to see in a wild swings in the stock market, but trending massively down because I think Schiff is right.

03:24:35.000 But as Schiff said, the president, I think, made a mistake by claiming a lot of the credit for just, you know, International business cycles that are happening.

03:24:46.000 If you're claiming credit for the ride up, then you're going to take the blame on the ride down because they're going to be able to keep quoting all of his, you know, I'm responsible for the economy.

03:24:57.000 So when the economy tanks, this is going to be used as ammunition against him.

03:25:02.000 So I think that's going to weigh heavily against him in 2020.

03:25:06.000 Then we get a Kamala Harris or a Bernie Sanders for four years at least as president, and they're going to, like FDR did after the stock market crashed in 1929 with Herbert Hoover, they're going to think that accelerating socialism is the way to fix it, and all it's going to do is lead us into a Great Depression.

03:25:29.000 But unlike the 1930s, where there was a level of social cohesion, No, I'm not saying that America was all it was, you know, a social utopia.

03:25:38.000 But even even, you know, given Jim Crow laws and so forth, there is a social stability.

03:25:47.000 There weren't people with the short attention spans driven by video games and smartphones that when things turn really ugly, they're going to turn to looting the way that they never did in the 1930s.

03:25:59.000 So where I would differ from Schiff, Schiff thinks that 19 the 2024 will be the big chance for our last chance to pull back with a conservative president.

03:26:10.000 But I think that four years of a Bernie Sanders or a Kamala Harris is going to result in Venezuela conditions leading to anarchy, looting and civil war.

03:26:22.000 So in a sense, I'm unfortunately feeling that Trump is more of a reprieve than a salvation.

03:26:38.000 It's like focusing in on the bridge of the Titanic and arguing about which captain's going to be in control for the next hour when the ship's taken on water the whole time.
