01:57:52.000 And so that's a real situation where you say, okay, you went through the right protocols, you did a good job, this is how the system is meant to be going down.

02:08:59.000 I've heard a bunch of news.

02:09:01.000 We're talking about new incarcerations, we're talking about potential expeditions, potential pardons.

02:09:09.000 Look, Assange has been on the top of the Australian agenda for the last months, increasingly, and years.

02:09:18.000 You wouldn't find any Australians who would be opposed to his release.

02:09:22.000 And the pressure from the Australian general population on the Australian

02:09:26.000 government to demand his release is quite significant.

02:09:31.000 I mean, we know Biden was supposed to come to Australia for a Quad meeting.

02:09:34.000 He didn't, for whatever reason.

02:09:37.000 There was going to be a heavy protest against the US president if he did visit

02:09:42.000 Australia at that time. Now he refused to visit.

02:09:44.000 He probably won't visit Australia at all.

02:09:46.000 Albanese, the Australian prime minister, has recently come back from a trip to

02:09:49.000 America where he did make those demands.

02:09:52.000 The Australian parliament, various senators and parliamentarians have made

02:09:56.000 requests to the US government to release Julian Assange.

02:10:00.000 And just recently we've seen in the last few days Biden answering questions of US

02:10:07.000 reporters saying that he's considering the Australian request to release Assange.

02:10:12.000 Now the thing is with Biden, we're not sure if this is just Biden fobbing off a response because we know that Anything that Biden says can't be taken seriously.

02:10:20.000 He doesn't know what time of day it is.

02:10:22.000 He doesn't know whether he's coming or going.

02:10:23.000 And I'm sure his response to that question by a journalist was not very thought through.

02:10:30.000 There is activity on the diplomatic front of possible talk of prisoner exchanges.

02:10:34.000 The question is which country would take Assange in?

02:10:36.000 There's only one country which can take him in and that's Australia.

02:10:39.000 The Australian government talks a lot about Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter who is currently incarcerated in Russia on suspicion of espionage.

02:10:48.000 And they're fighting for his release, but unfortunately the Australian political elite are not fighting as hard for Julian Assange as they should be.

02:10:58.000 He is only an Australian citizen.

02:11:01.000 Australia is a key US ally in the AUKUS pact, which potentially could be widened to include Japan.

02:11:09.000 JAUKUS, or JOKUS as the Australian population calls it.

02:11:13.000 Therefore, the Americans need, the American elite, the American globalists, need Australia on board, the Australian government on board.

02:12:09.000 Nowhere near the thousands of days that Assange has spent incarcerated, but certainly there are some comparisons and after a certain amount of time of being incarcerated like that, the mental health factor really starts to get to him and that's what they're trying to do.

02:12:28.000 It would be on our conscience, all of us, all 7 billion people on the planet, on our conscience if Assange was to die in custody.

02:12:37.000 And really force the US government and the Biden administration to act right now and release Assange.

02:12:45.000 Well, I'll tell you that's promising and heartwarming to hear the support that Assange has in Australia.

02:12:56.000 What's interesting though is here in America, You know, when WikiLeaks was exposing what most of the public views as war crimes or lies from our Bush administration to get us into these wars and entanglements in the Middle East, Assange was a hero to the left.

02:13:16.000 Then, when Assange just continued to do the work that he does, and was starting to expose things from inside the Obama administration and the Clinton State Department, all of a sudden now the left hated Julian Assange.

02:13:27.000 Now I'm talking about in America, and so it's amazing to kind of watch that dynamic play out, but it sounds that the support for Julian Assange in Australia has remained consistent.

02:13:38.000 I mean, for you to say that he could become the Prime Minister, I mean, that's...

02:13:42.000 That must mean the support for Assange is huge.

02:13:45.000 How is this reflected?

02:13:48.000 There are very few things that everybody will agree on when we talk about the political spectrum in Australia of the left and the right.

02:13:56.000 The freedom of Julian Assange is one issue which everybody seems to agree on now.

02:14:01.000 The lefties, including the extreme left, They are some of Assange's biggest supporters in Australia and they're very active at the moment marching in pro-Palestinian rallies and so forth.

02:14:13.000 You've got the right who have always been traditionally also staunch in defending Assange as an Australian but in my observations in Australia at the moment there are no significant political forces left which support the further incarceration and punishment of Julian Assange.

02:14:33.000 Even the Prime Minister as shonky and as dodgy and as bodgy as he is.

02:14:38.000 Even he is saying that enough is enough and we should free Assange.

02:14:42.000 The problem is we are all Assange.

02:14:45.000 And when Assange is incarcerated, it's a reflection of our own freedom in the whole world.

02:14:51.000 And that's why his issue of his freedom is such an important contentious issue for humanity,

02:14:59.000 especially for Australia, but also the whole world.

02:15:01.000 Because this is where we need to make a stand.

02:15:04.000 All Assad did wrong was tell the truth.

02:15:08.000 And I mean, it would save the Biden administration, but one of the few things that Biden could promise or do to try to save his presidency.

02:15:17.000 And now it'll be interesting how that plays out as a pre-election theme.

02:15:22.000 Will the Biden administration Release Assange before the U.S.

02:15:27.000 Or will it be a promise of the incoming future U.S.

02:15:31.000 And most likely, of course, that'll be Trump.

02:15:37.000 And in fact, if I was Trump, so if I'm thinking about this from raw political strategy, The Biden administration is desperate for a win.

02:15:48.000 And they may view the release of Assange as a potential for a desperate win.

02:15:56.000 Now, the measurements might be a little more microscopic than we realize, because again, the American left kind of turned against Julian Assange.

02:16:06.000 In 2016 and 2017 because of the exposure of the Obama administration, the DNC, and the Clinton State Department.

02:16:12.000 And I also wouldn't be surprised if Joe Biden comes out and makes a statement, maybe off his script, in support of a potential pardon of Assange, and then he gets a buzz on the phone from Hillary Clinton saying, you better not.

02:16:26.000 Pardon that son of a bitch, Joe, or we'll destroy your political career, whatever's left of it, I suppose.

02:16:32.000 So there's definitely going to be some tug of war going on.

02:16:36.000 And so I guess the strategy for the Biden administration, my guess would be to really just tease this.

02:16:41.000 To try to gain as much momentum as possible, maybe kind of just test the water of what an Assange release or an Assange pardon might do for him politically.

02:16:51.000 But it's likely that they wouldn't make a move on that, depending on what they view would be positive for them, until closer to the election day.

02:17:00.000 I mean, I would guess they wouldn't want to do anything too soon because it's just too far out from the election if they're looking for a desperate win.

02:17:06.000 Now, on the other side, I think what you just thought of there is actually genius.

02:17:11.000 Donald Trump could come out and say, I promise to pardon Julian Assange if I become the next president.

02:17:20.000 He takes the wind out of the sails of that potential political move from the Biden administration.

02:17:26.000 And to me, it will win a lot of support with Trump from the libertarians that support Julian Assange, but maybe are kind of sick of Donald Trump for other reasons.

02:17:40.000 He could come back and correct that mistake.

02:17:41.000 And if he made that promise, that would be a huge political victory for him.

02:17:45.000 And I think, quite frankly, it would embarrass the Biden administration.

02:17:49.000 Well, what does Donald Trump want more?

02:17:51.000 Does he want to prove a point?

02:17:53.000 With Assange and keep him in prison?

02:17:55.000 And remain not a president?

02:17:57.000 Or does he want to become a US president again and use the Assange factor as wind in his sails?

02:18:04.000 There's no doubt if whichever candidate for the US election takes the Assange theme and runs with it, there'll be a large section of the voter base who will vote and who will give their vote for Assange.

02:18:16.000 It's up to the candidates.

02:18:18.000 It's up to Biden.

02:18:18.000 It's up to Trump.

02:18:19.000 Whoever embraces That policy, the pre-election promise, and of course there'll be a lot of international support for whichever candidate does that.

02:18:28.000 Now, I shouldn't, I should say that I hope all of the candidates do, but the candidate that would benefit most would probably be Trump, if he's able to do that.

02:18:37.000 Problem is, Trump has already been in power, and during that time he did nothing to help Julian Assange.

02:18:42.000 He's gonna have to really promise, over-promise, and make some serious steps in that direction, and it's a test of Is the Deep State in control?

02:18:54.000 And how much control does it have in Washington?

02:18:57.000 Is a presidential candidate able to promise and fulfill the promise, go against the wishes of the U.S.

02:19:03.000 Deep State, who do not want Assange freed?

02:19:05.000 Because Assange probably still has many more secrets and Wikileaks files exposing all of their evil deeds and corruption, which makes them very afraid of Assange.

02:19:18.000 The Hillary's, the Obama's, all of their crimes and Assange is the one person on the

02:19:48.000 The Democrats are trying to bring out people, single-issue voters, on the abortion thing.

02:19:53.000 And really, there has been no strategic response from the Republicans.

02:19:56.000 Whether they want to face the abortion issue head-on or not, there still has not been a strategic response.

02:20:01.000 You know, this could kind of be a strategic response when you think about single-issue voters.

02:20:04.000 There are a lot of single-issue voters, specifically libertarians.

02:20:08.000 They do have votes.

02:20:09.000 There are millions of them.

02:20:11.000 That would be a single-issue voter and it would be just on Assange.

02:20:14.000 Otherwise, they might not vote for Donald Trump.

02:20:15.000 But if he promises to pardon Assange, I think they would show up.

02:20:18.000 I think there would be single-issue voters on Assange.

02:20:22.000 And you know, I do wonder, because we both agree that Trump made a big mistake not pardoning Assange or helping Assange when he was president.

02:20:29.000 I do wonder if he's learned from that, because he's obviously learned that he was deceived by the intelligence communities.

02:20:36.000 He was probably underestimating the tentacles of the deep state.

02:20:40.000 He had some good instincts.

02:20:41.000 I think he knew that there were some shenanigans there, but I don't think he fully understood what it was.

02:20:45.000 He's basically said as much.

02:20:46.000 So maybe that understanding and that going through that process, maybe that would lead him to reconsider the entire Assange Situation as well, but I agree.

02:20:57.000 I do think that would be a single-issue voter phenomenon.

02:21:00.000 That the Republicans could get back some single-issue voters that the Democrats might get with this abortion issue.

02:21:05.000 Because there really is no strategy there.

02:21:07.000 Now, as far as Assange's current status, what is his status?

02:21:11.000 Is he going to be moved as far as where he's incarcerated?

02:21:16.000 Is there anybody else trying to push for his freedom right now?

02:21:19.000 What is his status right now?

02:21:21.000 Well, the Australian government is the institute or the entity which should be fighting for his freedom.

02:21:29.000 And the Australian government has shown a very weak effort over the years.

02:21:34.000 We know that Joe Biden has not made any significant steps.

02:21:41.000 The question is, what could it mean?

02:21:43.000 What he has said, when he says considering, well, He needs to understand, Biden needs to understand that the Australian Parliament actually officially passed a motion, a parliamentary motion in February, calling for the release of Mr Assange.

02:21:58.000 And it's only up to the Australian Government to make these claims.

02:22:02.000 I mean, the Russian Government can't defend Assange because Assange is not a Russian.

02:22:06.000 Although if he was a Russian, like Edward Snowden, he became a Russian citizen, I think Assange would have been much better off. 0.77

02:22:14.000 Unfortunately, the Australian Government is showing Real weakness in front of the USA and it's towing the line really to the deep state as well.

02:22:23.000 So, the Australian Prime Minister has reacted already to Biden's words about considering Assange's release, saying in a statement on behalf of the Australian Government that Biden's words were, I quote, encouraging.

02:22:38.000 Mr Albanese, the Australian Prime Minister, has said, we have raised on behalf of Mr Assange Australia's national interest that enough is enough.

02:22:46.000 This needs to be brought to a conclusion and according to the Australian Prime Minister he's raised it at every level of government possible.

02:22:54.000 So the Australian Government's position is that there's nothing more to be gained by Mr Assange's continued incarceration and they are making somewhat of a feeble But if Australia was really serious, they would say no more weapons, no more funding, no more AUKUS payments, no $365 billion for the US AUKUS submarine deal, no sending of weapons to Ukraine, nothing until Assange is home.

02:23:20.000 And that's what the Australian Government has on the United States, it has that leverage.

02:23:25.000 Because Australia being a non-NATO US partner, it has some bearing internationally, not much

02:23:33.000 of course, and whatever international military help or support or aid that it sends to countries

02:23:39.000 for example like Ukraine on behalf of its so-called obligations to the US deep state,

02:23:47.000 It can simply just say we're not supporting, we're not helping, we're not voting with you

02:23:50.000 at the UN until you release Assange.

02:23:52.000 Now the Australian government has not done that and all we can see so far is more lip

02:24:07.000 We've heard some stories about poor health and, you know, maybe some mistreatment in there.

02:24:16.000 We know that this week it marks five years of incarceration for Mr. Assange in London's Bill Marsh prison.

02:24:25.000 Before that, he spent a whole seven years in the Ecuadorian embassy in London.

02:24:29.000 Where he was dragged out and arrested in 2019.

02:24:33.000 Look, being locked inside a building for such a long time, Assange has lost the best years of his life.

02:24:39.000 And for mental health, it's not good.

02:24:42.000 And there is a risk of Assange having serious health complications.

02:24:47.000 There's a lack of vitamin D. He's kept in a constant state of stress and a lack of freedom.

02:24:56.000 It's obvious that His health has been impacted.

02:24:59.000 He's been robbed and his health has been robbed just for telling the truth.

02:25:03.000 Now, being locked away for such a long period of time can be detrimental.

02:25:07.000 It is detrimental.

02:25:08.000 And his children, his wife, his father, his brother, his father John Shipton, who's a very honourable man and he's in contact with me sometimes, he says that the greatest problem is that Julian may not survive.

02:25:24.000 And that will be a very Serious black mark on the US regime.

02:25:32.000 Who wants to have that on their hands? 1.00

02:25:35.000 Which is why Biden, before Biden goes to the polls, he should do this.

02:26:55.000 Luckily for me, I've got Russian heritage, and the Russian government has given me a Russian passport by presidential decree, and they have said that we will not surrender you or give you over to the Australian authorities.

02:27:12.000 Sounds like a long time, but compared to Assange, who has been years and years and years locked away, it's a drop in the ocean.

02:27:19.000 But I certainly can, in some capacity, relate to what Julian must be going through now.

02:27:27.000 The call is to free Assange and for our friends in the United States.

02:27:30.000 Make this an election issue.

02:27:32.000 Pressure the US presidential candidates and constantly question them.

02:27:37.000 What is their stance on Assange?

02:27:38.000 And we don't need even a stance.

02:27:45.000 There's no reason why Assange couldn't be released right now via presidential pardon from Biden.

02:27:55.000 He would have many people in his voter base who would respect him for releasing Assange and he'd get recognition internationally.

02:28:04.000 The more Biden and the United States Show their inaction on the Assange question, the more they simply empower other governments around the world who seem to care about Assange.

02:28:16.000 For example, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, is often commenting on Assange.

02:28:24.000 He's not even Russian, because it's the right thing to do.

02:28:28.000 And this is where you either claim it or you lose it.

02:28:30.000 And if Biden wants to claim it, he's got one chance.

02:28:33.000 And he's got to start doing it right now, within the last few months that remain before the US election.

02:28:38.000 Otherwise, his opponents would take full advantage of this.

02:28:41.000 Personally, and I think Julian's family will agree with this, and Julian himself would agree with this, that it doesn't matter which US President makes the move.
