00:00:01.000 Hello, Austin, Texas.
00:00:02.000 I'm Alex Jones.
00:00:05.000 I've done quite a few episodes of this now.
00:00:07.000 The last three months I've been doing one of these shows every week.
00:00:10.000 And I'll have some tape shows starting in a few weeks.
00:00:13.000 Just random times.
00:00:17.000 I get pretty hot on a lot of these shows.
00:00:21.000 I wouldn't say really angry.
00:00:23.000 Just more excited.
00:00:25.000 I mean, for me to try to Make it entertaining and at the same time give people information.
00:00:35.000 I let myself get pretty excited.
00:00:39.000 And you ought to try coming up here to Austin Access and coming in here and doing a live hour and a half show.
00:00:48.000 It was kind of funny my first show.
00:00:49.000 It was quite a thrill actually.
00:00:51.000 Coming in here by myself.
00:00:52.000 Setting this up.
00:00:54.000 Sitting in this little room.
00:00:57.000 And shooting a show.
00:00:59.000 For those of you that can't tell, this is a small room that I've picked to use rather than the larger studios.
00:01:04.000 It's much simpler, and I can run everything myself.
00:01:07.000 Feel free to call me at 477-2288, and I see some of y'all's calls already.
00:01:10.000 I'll be getting those in a while.
00:01:13.000 First, I'm just going to give you kind of an expanded thesis.
00:01:17.000 By that, I mean I'll sit there and kind of tell you what I believe, for those of you that haven't seen my show before.
00:01:24.000 My show runs the gamut.
00:01:28.000 I don't judge people generally by the way they look or even how they act a lot of times.
00:01:33.000 I don't judge a book by its cover.
00:01:35.000 Let's put it that way.
00:01:35.000 Because I've found too many times the world's much more complex than people give it credit for.
00:01:41.000 And this show is also mainly trying to get people to get involved.
00:01:47.000 Because people have done so much just by...
00:01:51.000 Be willing to stand up and say something.
00:01:53.000 But if people say, oh, it's always been bad, it's always been whatever, or things are great and just shut up and leave it alone, man.
00:02:00.000 Well, that's how this country was founded.
00:02:02.000 People weren't going to let the British repress us anymore.
00:02:07.000 And I mean, I come from British heritage myself.
00:02:09.000 I'm not degrading the Brits.
00:02:11.000 It's just that we didn't want to be part of their empire.
00:02:12.000 We didn't want their high taxes.
00:02:14.000 And we wanted to be free.
00:02:18.000 Anybody who has any grip on history knows that free markets, real free markets, where too much power doesn't center in too few hands.
00:02:26.000 And by that, I don't mean if you're worth $10 million.
00:02:28.000 What I mean is it's just bad when the government keeps doing the same thing and the same two parties don't ever do anything different.
00:02:37.000 But the Republicans, the new Republicans that have been getting elected, have really been trying to do something.
00:02:42.000 And the media and the press and the people haven't given them any credit for it.
00:02:46.000 The press is...
00:02:48.000 Deliberately lied and done things, and right now they're not getting on the Republicans too bad.
00:02:53.000 Six months a year ago is when they were.
00:02:55.000 Now they're kind of acting friendly because they've, you know, run up a huge deficit against Dole.
00:02:59.000 Dole was only a few points behind Clinton, you know, six months ago or longer.
00:03:04.000 And then, you know, he got like 20-something points behind him.
00:03:07.000 Then he got four points behind him.
00:03:09.000 You know, Dole's, you know, the polls go back and forth, but you can really see what the press has done.
00:03:15.000 And you have to ask yourself.
00:03:16.000 Why does the press act like, quote, it's liberal?
00:03:19.000 Why does it push, you know, Democrats versus Republicans?
00:03:23.000 Well, it's simple.
00:03:24.000 Democrats have had the power, predominantly, not all the power, but the bigger share of it for really 70 years, and definitely for 40. And so when they have these ads that say, check Newt Gendrich, you know, where it shows Newt Gendrich and Bob Dole, don't let them get control of what happens, you know.
00:03:41.000 Well, the Democrats have had that kind of power for 40 years.
00:03:45.000 Why can't Republicans have a chance?
00:03:47.000 And again, if you want to just be scared of them and say, hey, the new Republican Congress came in and all they wanted to do was, you know, cut Medicare, cut Medicaid, cut school lunch funding, you know, or use the press's lingo or the Democrats' lingo that the press just let them run wild with it and never questioned them, of they just want to throw old people out the street.
00:04:07.000 They wish old people would just go away and die, to use a lot of their words.
00:04:13.000 You know, that's...
00:04:14.000 The way they behave a lot of times.
00:04:17.000 And that's what scares me about the whole thing, is that it's so one-sided.
00:04:24.000 And sure, there's plenty of, you know, conservative right-wing, whatever you want to call them, talk show hosts, whatever.
00:04:29.000 You know, we're out there.
00:04:31.000 And by that, I mean, you know, of course, you can get the other view out there, but most Americans are just busy working and taking care of their kids or, you know, going out partying or whatever, or, you know...
00:04:41.000 Whatever's going on, to really take the time to study C-SPAN, which is the governmental channels, to watch the news channels, to read a lot of publications, and to do stuff like that.
00:04:51.000 And they let the press explain to them what's really happening.
00:04:54.000 And, of course, it's an expert up there, usually, you know, and they're telling you this and that.
00:04:57.000 But look back over the course what these experts tell us.
00:05:00.000 They told us that NAFTA and GATT would result in huge trade surpluses for us.
00:05:05.000 Well, we had a trade surplus with Mexico in the first year of NAFTA. And now we have a $15 billion per year deficit.
00:05:12.000 That's a $16 billion difference, counting the billion dollar surplus we have.
00:05:15.000 And that's not counting the $50 billion bailout of a bunch of New York banks.
00:05:23.000 And if you notice, both parties were just lockstep behind it.
00:05:26.000 And again, this isn't some extreme stuff, you know, the stuff you've been hearing for 30 years about the big bad bankers.
00:05:30.000 I'm just telling you the facts.
00:05:31.000 You can go check it out.
00:05:32.000 $50 billion or more went to the big bailout of New York banks.
00:05:36.000 And Clinton signed on, Dole signed on, they all signed on.
00:05:39.000 Because that's big money, folks.
00:05:40.000 And you're asking yourself, what's wrong with that?
00:05:41.000 Those are U.S. banks.
00:05:42.000 No, they're not.
00:05:42.000 They're international banks.
00:05:44.000 But let's not meander around the subject.
00:05:49.000 Here's just a few things that the press hasn't told you that Clinton's done.
00:05:53.000 Or it's been on the back page.
00:05:54.000 You know, they told you that the Republicans were all mean and wished the old people would just go away and die.
00:05:59.000 They told you that the Republicans wanted to slash school lunch and throw the children out.
00:06:04.000 When in truth, they wanted...
00:06:06.000 A 3% cut in the rate of yearly increase.
00:06:12.000 It was going to be growing faster than inflation, and the Republicans said that's fine, but it doesn't need to be growing at 7%, 10%, 12%, like a lot of these programs are growing.
00:06:19.000 That's just ridiculous.
00:06:20.000 The economy only grows at 2.5% right now.
00:06:23.000 It's just simple math, folks.
00:06:25.000 The economy is complex in macroeconomics, but on the larger scale, it's just an ebb and flow of goods and services.
00:06:34.000 You know, George Bush, A lot of, you know, stuff wasn't great during his administration because we had a big boom during Reagan.
00:06:44.000 But what happened over time is things moved.
00:06:47.000 It came in the Bush administration.
00:06:48.000 He had a 2.3, 2.5 percent growth rate.
00:06:53.000 Almost the same growth rate we have now.
00:06:54.000 It's just housing starts and stuff weren't, you know, up as high as they are now.
00:06:58.000 And then the press every day would just beat the drumbeat of people are mad, people are angry.
00:07:03.000 Wanting to push Bush out, okay?
00:07:04.000 Bush went out.
00:07:05.000 When Bush was still in office, The last six, eight months, the economy started going up, and Clinton came in.
00:07:10.000 It's pretty much cyclical.
00:07:12.000 One thing's guaranteed, though.
00:07:13.000 You slash taxes, the economy will boom.
00:07:15.000 But to do that, you've got to cut spending or leave it the same.
00:07:19.000 For those of you out there that hate Ronald Reagan, who I don't think was the greatest in the world, he was a pragmatist, wanted to get things done.
00:07:25.000 He had Democratic Congress, so he had to deal with them.
00:07:27.000 So everybody spent.
00:07:28.000 We had defense spending.
00:07:29.000 We had social spending.
00:07:30.000 Everybody went nuts.
00:07:31.000 And we cut taxes.
00:07:33.000 And revenue swelled.
00:07:34.000 More money came in when they cut taxes.
00:07:36.000 You're asking, how is that?
00:07:37.000 Well, people make more money so they pay more taxes, even though the rate's lower.
00:07:39.000 That's just a fact.
00:07:40.000 It happened in Kennedy's administration.
00:07:42.000 It happened in Truman's administration.
00:07:46.000 It's happened in Republican-Democrat administrations alike.
00:07:49.000 I don't care about Republican-Democrat.
00:07:50.000 I care about getting my taxes cut.
00:07:52.000 I care about getting government cut.
00:07:54.000 And the news media not squealing and stuff.
00:07:57.000 Because the big bureaucracy doesn't want to lose.
00:08:02.000 The first thing they want to cut is welfare, which I think needs to be restructured like it's been.
00:08:07.000 And it's a good thing Quentin signed on to that.
00:08:10.000 But look what's happened over the whole long-term thing.
00:08:13.000 What's really happening?
00:08:16.000 The corporate welfare, the other kinds of welfare, they see that government is starting to get cut, so they want to hold the line.
00:08:21.000 And so that's why the press is against these cuts.
00:08:24.000 That's why they knock them.
00:08:25.000 The American people are for cutting government, because government doesn't do any good, folks.
00:08:29.000 It defends us.
00:08:30.000 It builds our roads.
00:08:31.000 It needs to help take care of the elderly and people.
00:08:33.000 But it doesn't need to ever expand and fund all these weird foundations that are funded by a bunch of, you know, rich bankers.
00:08:40.000 And if you go, go check out most of these environmentalist groups, the big ones.
00:08:43.000 I don't mean the people who are in them who are trying to do some good.
00:08:45.000 Go check out the foundations that are funding these, you know, the Rockefeller Brothers Foundation, the Carnegie Foundation.
00:08:50.000 They're all funding these things.
00:08:52.000 And these guys are filthy rich, and they're totally involved in the whole scam.
00:08:55.000 You could say, oh, well, these rich guys, they're just wanting to do it, you know, for their conscience.
00:09:01.000 The Rockefellers, 80 years ago, were getting the government to call forests and stuff off limits, but only because they owned land adjoining it and they wanted to build hotels on it, so their land would be worth more.
00:09:10.000 It's all a big scam.
00:09:12.000 The key is it's cutting government.
00:09:13.000 I know I'm meandering around.
00:09:14.000 It's because any direction I go, I run into lies and the bureaucracy.
00:09:19.000 And look what the press hands us.
00:09:20.000 All they ever give us is, oh, hey, worry about the little thing.
00:09:26.000 Worry about, what is it with Clinton's character?
00:09:29.000 You know, something like that.
00:09:30.000 Sure, Clinton has a terrible character.
00:09:31.000 So did Richard Nixon.
00:09:33.000 But what's important is his program.
00:09:36.000 And what's important is how the press covers it up for him.
00:09:38.000 Here's just a few of the things Clinton's really done.
00:09:40.000 And these are just some stuff I wrote out just for notes for myself.
00:09:43.000 I'm not getting this out of some right-wing thing or anything.
00:09:45.000 This is just facts.
00:09:46.000 You can get it for yourself.
00:09:48.000 Clinton did not...
00:09:51.000 Passed the Clean Water Act.
00:09:53.000 Republicans did.
00:09:53.000 This new clean water thing is touting the environment and then bashing the Republicans in the next breath for not being good on the environment.
00:10:00.000 Republicans passed it overwhelmingly.
00:10:02.000 And at the last minute, all the Democrats jumped on board so they could say they were going along with it.
00:10:07.000 A huge refurbishing of the water systems.
00:10:10.000 Very important.
00:10:10.000 Because they were tired of getting blamed for that stuff.
00:10:12.000 So they said, okay, fine.
00:10:13.000 Here's 10 million bucks.
00:10:15.000 You know?
00:10:16.000 Let's fix it.
00:10:16.000 You know, let's make things better.
00:10:18.000 Democrats, you're the ones that were letting the water systems fall apart.
00:10:20.000 Now we're in.
00:10:20.000 Here's more money for it.
00:10:22.000 Clinton comes out and goes, well, I've done more than buying it.
00:10:24.000 And all the people out there just go, see, Clinton really is good.
00:10:26.000 He's got his problems, but he's good.
00:10:28.000 He didn't do it.
00:10:28.000 He just signed it.
00:10:29.000 He vetoed it twice, along with all the other stuff Republicans sent him.
00:10:32.000 Republicans sent him welfare reform, the same one he signed almost.
00:10:35.000 And he said, oh, this is terrible.
00:10:37.000 And the news said, this is terrible.
00:10:38.000 See, they get to have their keck and eat it too.
00:10:40.000 And you can argue to me and say, well, but who cares, you know, Alex?
00:10:44.000 Who cares?
00:10:45.000 At least he signed it.
00:10:46.000 It's just politics.
00:10:47.000 He signed it.
00:10:48.000 Yeah, but he's already talking about how he's going to go in there after he gets elected.
00:10:51.000 He's already saying this.
00:10:52.000 His wife is.
00:10:53.000 A bunch of other people are here.
00:10:53.000 He's saying it.
00:10:54.000 And they're going to change a bunch of provisions in it if they can.
00:10:57.000 See?
00:10:59.000 Nothing they say means anything.
00:11:01.000 Ever.
00:11:02.000 You know?
00:11:03.000 He just flip-flops.
00:11:04.000 No matter what issue it is.
00:11:05.000 People are all out there aware of this.
00:11:06.000 Clinton doesn't stand for you.
00:11:08.000 He just pays lip service to you.
00:11:10.000 At least the Republican freshmen got in there, and that's why they've been vilified by all the extremists.
00:11:14.000 They're not the extremists.
00:11:16.000 They wanted to save Medicare and Medicaid.
00:11:19.000 They wanted to save the school lunch program just by a slight trim in the budget.
00:11:24.000 And it wasn't to pay for tax cuts.
00:11:26.000 It was to downsize the bureaucracy.
00:11:28.000 More money was going to be going to the school lunch program.
00:11:30.000 They were just going to get rid of the bureaucracy in Washington.
00:11:34.000 But anyways, here's some other stuff you did.
00:11:36.000 Clinton raised tax on Social Security.
00:11:37.000 That's just a fact.
00:11:38.000 Go check it out for yourself.
00:11:39.000 You heard our Republicans do this?
00:11:40.000 No, Clinton did it.
00:11:44.000 Under the Republicans, it was going to go up over $2,000 in the next four years in their plans.
00:11:49.000 But the media ran around lying.
00:11:51.000 It's just lies.
00:11:53.000 Now, I understand we've turned into this TV culture where it's just a bunch of blab trying to sell advertising, and people get on there, and they see this bull, and people think, well, you know, you might be listening to me, but tomorrow you'll listen to somebody else.
00:12:04.000 I'm telling you, this is fact.
00:12:06.000 Clinton did all this stuff.
00:12:07.000 I saw it passed on C-SPAN. I saw it opposed on C-SPAN. I saw it on the Internet.
00:12:12.000 It's real.
00:12:13.000 And I didn't see the major networks cover it adequately.
00:12:15.000 I saw them cover it in a skewed way against the Republicans.
00:12:21.000 Largest tax increase in history.
00:12:22.000 It is true.
00:12:23.000 You make it over $98,000 a year, huge tax increase.
00:12:26.000 I don't consider that rich.
00:12:27.000 I consider somebody worth $3 billion rich.
00:12:30.000 I consider somebody worth $10 million rich.
00:12:33.000 And we shouldn't raise their taxes.
00:12:34.000 What is raising their taxes going to do for us?
00:12:36.000 It's going to grow the government, which through history, governments have always been dangerous.
00:12:39.000 That's just wonderful.
00:12:41.000 You know, so what?
00:12:42.000 You know, somebody making a million dollars a year, and you're making a hundred thousand dollars a year, he's paying ten times as much tax as you with a flat tax.
00:12:49.000 It's fair, folks.
00:12:50.000 We need a flat tax.
00:12:51.000 And I say, if you make $130,000 a year, and you got a kid or something, you shouldn't have to pay tax.
00:12:58.000 That's not going to hurt our economy.
00:12:59.000 It'll strengthen our economy.
00:13:00.000 People will actually feel good.
00:13:02.000 They'll buy more with their money.
00:13:03.000 They'll go right back into the economy, right back into our pockets.
00:13:06.000 It's proven.
00:13:06.000 It's just simple economics 101. For some reason, the phone's just flushed, so please call me at 477-2288.
00:13:17.000 And I'll go to those calls in about five minutes.
00:13:21.000 Clinton lies about tax cuts.
00:13:24.000 You know, he says he's going to give you these big tax cuts in his State of the Union and all this.
00:13:29.000 He says he's going to give you...
00:13:30.000 I mean, think back four years ago.
00:13:31.000 I'm going to give middle class tax relief.
00:13:33.000 We raised your taxes.
00:13:35.000 He just lied to you, folks.
00:13:37.000 You know, remember George Bush said, read my lips, no new taxes?
00:13:40.000 He lied and he got run out of there.
00:13:42.000 It's good he did.
00:13:43.000 Now the press needs to call attention to what Clinton's done.
00:13:46.000 You know, Bush had a Democratic Congress, so he couldn't get anything passed.
00:13:49.000 So he had to make a deal with him and barely raise taxes.
00:13:51.000 And they said, don't worry about it.
00:13:52.000 We won't say anything about it.
00:13:54.000 And then they turned around and stabbed him right in the back.
00:13:57.000 Which was good.
00:13:58.000 Bush shouldn't have raised taxes.
00:14:00.000 But he just thought, you know, he went along with it.
00:14:03.000 Well, Clinton gets away with it.
00:14:04.000 That's what I don't like, is just double dealing.
00:14:07.000 Dole has real tax cuts.
00:14:10.000 15% across the board.
00:14:12.000 $500 per child tax credit.
00:14:14.000 That means if you've got two kids, $1,000.
00:14:16.000 Three kids, $1,500.
00:14:17.000 Six kids, a lot of money.
00:14:19.000 Okay?
00:14:20.000 That's real.
00:14:21.000 Cut the capital gains tax in half.
00:14:23.000 And you say, that's for the rich guys.
00:14:24.000 That's what the media has told you, folks.
00:14:26.000 Who owns that?
00:14:27.000 The rich guys.
00:14:28.000 But their money's offshore.
00:14:29.000 They have ways of not paying taxes.
00:14:30.000 So they don't care the middle class.
00:14:32.000 They don't want the middle class to invest that much.
00:14:34.000 The middle...
00:14:35.000 Capital gains is the worst tax because it's a tax on investment.
00:14:39.000 It's a tax on selling your home.
00:14:41.000 It's a tax on anything where you would accrue wealth.
00:14:46.000 And that's the dangerous part of this whole system.
00:14:50.000 I want people out there to call me and tell me why you support Bill Clinton.
00:15:00.000 I want to know because Well, I mean, I do know why.
00:15:04.000 It's because Clinton's simple.
00:15:05.000 Clinton's easy.
00:15:07.000 Clinton's what you want to hear.
00:15:09.000 Clinton soothes people.
00:15:11.000 Listen, it's called a rapid reaction strategy.
00:15:15.000 They are there every time a new story comes out, every time a new poll comes out, and they adjust.
00:15:19.000 They come out and talk about that immediately.
00:15:21.000 They have pollsters out constantly.
00:15:24.000 You heard about the guy, you know, Mr. Morris or whatever.
00:15:31.000 Dick Morris, you heard about all his BS. Well, who cares about that?
00:15:34.000 There's no substance in it.
00:15:35.000 We all know Clinton has terrible character.
00:15:37.000 He reminds me just exactly of Richard Nixon.
00:15:38.000 Clinton wants a million and a half wiretaps, all his other BS, controlled guns, you know, everything, you know, stuff that would make Hitler proud.
00:15:43.000 We all know this.
00:15:44.000 I mean, hell, Hitler appointed to Joint Chiefs of Staff, most powerful military man in the world, he appointed the son of a Nazi, a man that worked for the Nazis in Poland and all over Europe.
00:15:56.000 Yes?
00:15:57.000 And sure, the guy's got credentials.
00:15:59.000 He'll do what Clinton says.
00:16:00.000 His dad was a Nazi.
00:16:02.000 For those of you saying, Nazis from Poland, yes.
00:16:06.000 Nazis were all over the world back in World War II. They would go to each country and control it.
00:16:11.000 That's another fact I've never heard about.
00:16:12.000 Imagine if George Bush, Ronald Reagan and George Bush appointed Colin Powell, intelligent, smart, well-spoken, moderate.
00:16:21.000 And it was a good move.
00:16:22.000 Clinton comes and appoints General Kashvili.
00:16:25.000 I saw Mr. Kashvili, Chairman Kashvili, most powerful military man in the world, controls all four branches of the military, controls the Coast Guard too.
00:16:34.000 I saw him during a Senate confirmation hearing.
00:16:36.000 I saw them asking about his father.
00:16:38.000 His father was a Nazi, ran around killing people, ran death camps, literally.
00:16:43.000 Literally, this is true.
00:16:45.000 And it was so embarrassing to the government, it just was swept through because he was confirmed during a Democratic Congress.
00:16:51.000 There was one little thing about it, questions about his father being involved in the Nazis.
00:16:55.000 More than involved.
00:16:57.000 More than involved.
00:16:58.000 I mean, that's the pattern, I mean.
00:17:00.000 You know, this is not good, folks.
00:17:02.000 You think I'm full?
00:17:03.000 I think I'll check up on it.
00:17:04.000 It's your job.
00:17:04.000 You think I'm full?
00:17:05.000 Go check out the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff right now, Mr. General Kashvili.
00:17:11.000 Probably not pronouncing his name right, but that's him.
00:17:14.000 I have nothing against foreigners.
00:17:15.000 He wasn't even born in this country.
00:17:16.000 He didn't come here until he was a teen.
00:17:19.000 Did you know you can't be present or in line for the presidency in the...
00:17:24.000 In the first three things of succession, if you weren't born in this country, it's in the Constitution.
00:17:29.000 Our founding fathers knew that that was important.
00:17:35.000 I don't know what to say.
00:17:36.000 Clinton flew to Russia in 1967 and 1968. He flew to Italy when it was communist.
00:17:41.000 He flew all over.
00:17:42.000 He had a huge beard and hung out with all the Marxist-Leninists.
00:17:44.000 Because that was the cool thing.
00:17:45.000 I'm not saying Clinton's even a communist.
00:17:47.000 But look.
00:17:48.000 See what I'm saying?
00:17:49.000 Look what he's into.
00:17:49.000 He's into power.
00:17:50.000 What is communism?
00:17:51.000 Power of the state over the people.
00:17:53.000 You know, a certain elite controls everybody.
00:17:55.000 That's what his health care was about.
00:17:56.000 His health care wasn't for the needy.
00:17:57.000 His health care told doctors what kind of doctor they could be.
00:18:00.000 His health care controlled the whole country in ten regions.
00:18:03.000 One-seventh of the economy.
00:18:04.000 Health care is huge.
00:18:05.000 One-seventh of the economy.
00:18:08.000 A secret tribunal of ten people would run the ten sectors.
00:18:12.000 That was in there, a 1,300-page bill.
00:18:13.000 A bill that had things in it like, if you're caught outside your house or domicile, it means your house or apartment or wherever you live, Without your health care card, you can be given a $10,000 fine and or five years in prison.
00:18:27.000 That's in there.
00:18:29.000 That's not a lie.
00:18:30.000 That's the truth.
00:18:32.000 But people don't care because they can go to the movies and see cities destroyed by aliens.
00:18:36.000 And they kind of, in a way, think that's reality or something.
00:18:38.000 That must be what it is.
00:18:40.000 Because there's wild stuff going on.
00:18:41.000 Clinton wanted a million and a half wiretaps.
00:18:43.000 Wanting it to be installed on all of your phone systems.
00:18:45.000 And hooking the FBI and computer monitors.
00:18:48.000 And mark down who you call.
00:18:51.000 I got that off the internet.
00:18:52.000 Saw it introduced.
00:18:53.000 The Schroeder-Moorhead Patent Act.
00:18:54.000 Pat Schroeder from Colorado to take away your patent rights, in effect.
00:18:58.000 I'm not considering going through the details.
00:18:59.000 Go get it off the internet.
00:19:01.000 Go to the House webpage and get it off.
00:19:03.000 Pull it directly off.
00:19:04.000 The actual bill that she's introduced that may pass because they keep fighting for it.
00:19:08.000 I mean, wake up to what's going on.
00:19:10.000 These foreign lobbyists have come in here and they're buying Washington up because the American people are too busy watching Seinfeld, which is a good show.
00:19:16.000 I'm just saying, you know.
00:19:18.000 People are too busy watching football games, whatever.
00:19:20.000 And that's fine.
00:19:21.000 Watch a football game.
00:19:22.000 But take the time.
00:19:23.000 It may take you years to really study and learn politics.
00:19:26.000 Don't just take what some expert says.
00:19:27.000 Start watching for yourself.
00:19:28.000 It took me years of just watching.
00:19:29.000 I said, I want to understand this because something's not right here.
00:19:32.000 And I just watched it, and I watched it, and I watched it.
00:19:36.000 And I just saw how Republicans got painted as these mean horrible demons, which some of them are, by all means.
00:19:42.000 Government, by its very nature, is crooked sometimes.
00:19:46.000 Humans, by their very nature, sometimes are bad.
00:19:48.000 So, of course, government's going to reflect the way that we are.
00:19:50.000 Soaring crime rates, soaring all this other stuff.
00:19:53.000 And they say crime is actually planed off.
00:19:55.000 Well, yes, since the end of the Bush administration, it's planed off.
00:19:59.000 That's because we built more prisons, folks.
00:20:03.000 But anyways, I'm going to take some calls now.
00:20:08.000 And just tell me what you think about this.
00:20:09.000 Tell me what you think about...
00:20:10.000 I've got to talk about this first.
00:20:12.000 I've been watching Nickelodeon at night.
00:20:14.000 I've been watching shows like that.
00:20:17.000 I've been watching MTV, and it's so counterculture.
00:20:20.000 And look, I'm not hung up on counterculture.
00:20:21.000 If you want to go waste your mind doing drugs, that's fine, okay?
00:20:25.000 If you want to go do all this other BS, I've been around too, folks.
00:20:28.000 I know it's bad for you.
00:20:29.000 If you want to do it, go ahead.
00:20:32.000 You might not want to shoot some poison in your veins.
00:20:35.000 You might not want to take some acid that isn't even acid.
00:20:37.000 It's just a poison that some idiot cooked up in their bathtub.
00:20:40.000 It's just some toxins that make you poison your brain.
00:20:44.000 You know, if you think that's cool, go with MTV. Go with all those unhappy slobs.
00:20:50.000 All they have is their fad and their little clicks.
00:20:54.000 The most mindless behavior I've ever seen in my life.
00:20:57.000 You want to do that?
00:20:58.000 Give the government the excuse to beef up police forces.
00:21:00.000 Give the government the excuse to take away legal people from having firearms, which doesn't hurt anybody.
00:21:06.000 I'm watching Nickelodeon.
00:21:08.000 I started monitoring Nickelodeon, a children's program.
00:21:10.000 And they have a thing on their kids and guns.
00:21:13.000 Most people who weren't looking for political stuff, subtle political stuff, wouldn't even notice the stuff.
00:21:17.000 And I wasn't being paranoid.
00:21:18.000 But it would cut to kids saying stuff like this.
00:21:20.000 Ten-year-old kids saying stuff like this.
00:21:22.000 I know they heard it somewhere else.
00:21:23.000 We need to ban the manufacture of guns.
00:21:26.000 Guns are bad.
00:21:27.000 And then some kid would say, yes, but you should have the right to have one for protection.
00:21:31.000 And then, you know, they had a story about that.
00:21:33.000 But then they had a couple stories about kids getting shot and stuff.
00:21:34.000 It was called Kids and Guns.
00:21:35.000 They had these other shows where it showed some big political guy going, Oh, let's scam them.
00:21:39.000 Let's this and that.
00:21:40.000 And the guy's a bad guy and he's wearing an American flag for a tie around scarf tie.
00:21:46.000 You know, that symbolism there.
00:21:49.000 And then the lady doing the show asking kids questions is obviously this disaffected, unhappy...
00:21:53.000 If I had to bet, I'd bet she was a lesbian.
00:21:57.000 You know, an old 60s lesbian.
00:21:59.000 I'm not saying she's a bad lady.
00:22:00.000 I'm just saying you could tell she was a very unhappy person.
00:22:03.000 Here she is sitting here on the couch with these kids.
00:22:05.000 I'm like, what do you think about this?
00:22:06.000 And then...
00:22:07.000 They would always cut-cut to kids going, ban guns, ban this.
00:22:10.000 You know, you see it on children's programming.
00:22:13.000 It sure had some good in there, like, don't touch a gun if you see it.
00:22:16.000 But then the rest of the show was all about how bad guns are.
00:22:18.000 Should have been, don't touch a gun.
00:22:19.000 Don't touch a gun.
00:22:20.000 They hurt you.
00:22:21.000 They're bad.
00:22:22.000 Your parents should teach you gun safety.
00:22:24.000 If your parents have a gun, it should be locked up.
00:22:26.000 They said that once or twice.
00:22:27.000 And all the rest of it was just the danger of guns.
00:22:29.000 It was all just emotional BS. That's deadly important.
00:22:33.000 It's the Second Amendment of the Constitution, and it's not open for interpretation.
00:22:37.000 All the Founding Fathers agreed.
00:22:39.000 George Washington said, and this is not exactly what I believe, firearms are the teeth and the strength of the Constitution.
00:22:46.000 Without them, tyranny and evil men breed.
00:22:49.000 That's just a fact.
00:22:50.000 Guns in the hands of the people just, you know, I'd rather have a few needless accidents than have a totalitarian government.
00:22:56.000 You know, look at the top people who ban guns.
00:22:59.000 People like Hitler, people like Stalin, all the rest of these nice people, first thing they do is snatch up a gun.
00:23:05.000 Of course, all their people have guns.
00:23:06.000 All their police forces have guns.
00:23:10.000 But let's go to some calls.
00:23:12.000 Hello around there.
00:23:14.000 Hey, you're alright.
00:23:16.000 Man, I just got done watching part of that Democratic convention that made me sick.
00:23:21.000 Those people sit there and they clap at the end.
00:23:24.000 It's like they're watching Michael Jackson or something.
00:23:27.000 They're like...
00:23:28.000 Crying, oh, here's our Savior.
00:23:30.000 Here's our Savior.
00:23:31.000 He's going to save us.
00:23:32.000 Well, listen, I saw Geraldine Ferraro today on Crossfire when I got home.
00:23:37.000 And it was funny.
00:23:38.000 I don't think Johnson, and he's perfect, you know, he's a Republican who got run out by the Democrats in the Bush administration.
00:23:44.000 Did you hear some feedback?
00:23:46.000 No, not really.
00:23:47.000 Okay.
00:23:48.000 But anyway, she's sitting there, and I saw her yesterday on Crossfire.
00:23:53.000 She sits there and said, you know, John Snowden started talking about some intelligent intellectual politics, some complex stuff, and she was like, I don't think a lot of people understand that.
00:24:02.000 A lot of people don't have our education.
00:24:04.000 And, I mean, you just kind of see this, sir, they don't have our...
00:24:07.000 Yeah, they have the education of the NEA, that's why.
00:24:10.000 Exactly.
00:24:11.000 They want to keep people down.
00:24:12.000 Let me tell you a story.
00:24:14.000 I've been in Austin for six months.
00:24:16.000 They came and winded and showed us all the nice parts of Austin.
00:24:21.000 And I actually went down to ACTV. Thinking of making a couple little movies here.
00:24:25.000 I've never been to East Austin before.
00:24:28.000 And it really hit me, you know, what a disparity from one side of Austin on the interstate is to the other.
00:24:34.000 And it's like...
00:24:34.000 You know what my dad told me?
00:24:36.000 That's proof.
00:24:36.000 That's 40 years of Democratic running the state, city, the government.
00:24:42.000 My dad told me this.
00:24:42.000 I mean, thanks for reminding me of this.
00:24:43.000 My dad told me this.
00:24:44.000 He said when I was a kid, the African-Americans in our community owned businesses.
00:24:48.000 They were doing really good.
00:24:50.000 There was some gambling, just like there was in a white community.
00:24:52.000 There was some prostitution like there wasn't any community.
00:24:55.000 But they were really, you know, church going.
00:24:58.000 And I know liberals hate the word church.
00:25:00.000 I'm just saying that.
00:25:01.000 And, I mean, you know, strong and intelligent and vibrant and were repressed.
00:25:05.000 And I'm glad that the repression was gotten rid of.
00:25:08.000 But as in history, you get rid of one form of repression only to have another.
00:25:12.000 Like slavery was in it in the 1860s.
00:25:15.000 Then came sharecropping, a new form of slavery.
00:25:17.000 You know, a new form of economic slavery.
00:25:19.000 And then...
00:25:20.000 Then came desegregation.
00:25:22.000 And what did that do?
00:25:23.000 It took all these black businesses and destroyed them.
00:25:26.000 Because you two blacks dealt in their own areas, and so it was really a strengthening thing for them.
00:25:30.000 And they're still destroyed.
00:25:32.000 Because I drove around and there's no businesses.
00:25:34.000 There's a couple little shops with bars on the windows.
00:25:36.000 But there's nothing there.
00:25:38.000 And it's like, you know, the Democrats have just, you know, have a lot of good black friends that are pretty much Republicans.
00:25:45.000 But the Democrats have just shut down those people, taking them for granted.
00:25:50.000 You know, and now that Colin Powell's Republican and J.C. Watts are like...
00:25:53.000 Oh, J.C. Watts, isn't he fantastic?
00:25:55.000 He's awesome.
00:25:56.000 And the press is just shunning these guys like they're oddballs.
00:25:59.000 And, you know, these Democrats are trying so hard to...
00:26:01.000 I think they just treat black people as a voting bloc, and they don't really care about anything else.
00:26:06.000 Listen, and it's these black leaders.
00:26:09.000 They've got great fiery speeches and stuff.
00:26:12.000 Listen, I don't like Louis Farrakhan.
00:26:13.000 He says a lot of crazy stuff, but at least he says...
00:26:16.000 You know, don't be doing this, and they're enslaving you again.
00:26:19.000 That's the one thing he says, but who I really respect, and I do not respect Lewis Farrakhan, but some of the stuff he says is true.
00:26:24.000 That's what's so dangerous about him.
00:26:25.000 He'll say a lot of true stuff and then a lot of bad stuff added with it.
00:26:28.000 But Tony Brown.
00:26:29.000 Tony Brown, for African Americans out there who are watching, I don't claim to know everything.
00:26:34.000 I haven't sat in your shoes, but I imagine it's pretty frustrating to go from one form of tyranny to another.
00:26:40.000 But, listen, I'm only 22 years old.
00:26:42.000 I haven't done it.
00:26:43.000 And I want us all to be strong.
00:26:45.000 I know we're all Americans.
00:26:46.000 We're all part of the same unit.
00:26:47.000 And I want us all to be strong.
00:26:49.000 I don't like seeing groups being subjugated.
00:26:51.000 And listen, it's not just African Americans.
00:26:52.000 It's everybody.
00:26:53.000 They're trying to subjugate women right now.
00:26:55.000 And, you know, very subtly and very overtly and covertly, tell women, you are a voting bloc.
00:27:01.000 Republicans don't respect you.
00:27:03.000 They're not for your rights.
00:27:04.000 They don't care about you.
00:27:05.000 Well, that's what Clinton and his cronies do.
00:27:08.000 They try to partition people into groups because if we're groups, we're divided.
00:27:13.000 You know, they'll never win if we stand together.
00:27:16.000 But, you know, that's what he did tonight.
00:27:18.000 He came out with this Republican speech.
00:27:20.000 You know, Bob Dole says everybody's getting 15 percent tax cut.
00:27:23.000 And Clinton says, no, this group is going to get this tax.
00:27:27.000 This group is going to get this tax.
00:27:28.000 This group...
00:27:29.000 You know, he tries to keep partitioning the American people to keep them separate and make sure he addresses one interest at a time and say, oh, he spoke out something that relates something to me.
00:27:39.000 I'm going to vote for him.
00:27:40.000 Well, listen, Tony Brown says the exact thing.
00:27:42.000 Tony Brown became a Republican three years ago.
00:27:45.000 And he's very intelligent.
00:27:46.000 He has a show on PBS. I saw him on here the other day.
00:27:49.000 And, I mean, he says the exact thing.
00:27:50.000 He says, I don't think the Republicans are perfect, but at least they're doing something different.
00:27:54.000 At least they're trying to free the...
00:27:56.000 The hands of the African-Americans.
00:27:58.000 Oh, that's Tony Brown's journal?
00:28:00.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:28:00.000 He said at least Newt Gingrich wants a program, just like I do, to give laptop computers to African-American kids.
00:28:06.000 At least he wants to get them into cyberspace.
00:28:08.000 At least he has earning by learning, where Newt Gingrich gives $10,000 and raises millions and millions to give the kids, inner-city kids, for reading books.
00:28:20.000 That's what we're talking about.
00:28:22.000 There really has been a revolution in the Republicans.
00:28:24.000 You know, sure, used to it was a big monolithic thing.
00:28:27.000 Democrats and Republicans were pretty much the same.
00:28:29.000 And then a new 60s people came into the Democrats because the Democrats were in power and forced Democrats, forced LBJ, forced people like that to bring desegregation by burning things and blowing things up and doing things in a way I can't totally disagree with.
00:28:44.000 It was revolution.
00:28:45.000 And then, just because they were in power, they said, okay, you know...
00:28:49.000 It was either get out of power or do what had to be done.
00:28:52.000 And I'm not advocating terrorism in any way.
00:28:54.000 So now, just because they were in power and all this happened, they claim, see, we're good.
00:28:58.000 We're the good party.
00:28:59.000 We're the perfect party.
00:29:00.000 I remember Democratic governors keeping little black kids from coming in.
00:29:03.000 In Arkansas and all these other...
00:29:05.000 Alabama, yeah.
00:29:06.000 I mean, you know, people just learn history.
00:29:08.000 You want to be an idiot and sit there and believe what's being done at you.
00:29:11.000 Parties change.
00:29:12.000 The Republican Party is the party...
00:29:13.000 of Lincoln.
00:29:14.000 It's the party of suffrage.
00:29:16.000 It's the party of Teddy Roosevelt, the first environmentalist president, the first environmentalist leader in the world.
00:29:21.000 I know something that, you know, we'll get a Democrat liberal every time, you know, I have a good friend, he's ultra-liberal, and he's like, oh, we shouldn't get 15% tax cut.
00:29:30.000 I said, look, I'll take 15% tax cut.
00:29:33.000 You pay the difference.
00:29:34.000 If you want to do all this stuff with government, you pay the money.
00:29:38.000 but I should be not with dole should say you know on your tax return put a little check on if you wanna pay even more and let all the Democrats see that the thing is they think they have all these great ideas they want to pay all the government but they want everybody to do it they don't have you know the gut they will do it on my own they think well but by idea what everybody to pay and it's like you know what holds it together
00:30:00.000 In my opinion, what holds it together is the liberal or the leftist or the person who does care who's naive or who went through college and really felt some of the fervor of the 60s where some good was done.
00:30:11.000 You know, the worst kind of people, in my opinion, are those people that learned something, who were pretty smart when they were young, and then think that, you know, that's the worst kind of doctor, my dad says, is a doctor who learns stuff in medical school, and then thinks they know everything, and they become a terrible doctor because treatment changes.
00:30:28.000 Stuff gets better, but they're still doing things the way they learned in 1960. And that's kind of how liberals are.
00:30:33.000 They don't understand that we're not back in the 20s when their movement started.
00:30:37.000 We're not back, you know, in all that.
00:30:40.000 We're going into the 21st century, and Clinton can ride around on trains all day saying, I'm the 21st century president.
00:30:44.000 You're not, my friend.
00:30:46.000 You don't understand.
00:30:47.000 Bob Dole said, you know, we want to have a bridge to the better times.
00:30:50.000 You know, there's a lot to learn from when this country started and all the principles it started on.
00:30:54.000 And Clinton saying, you know, forget the past.
00:30:57.000 Everything is new.
00:30:58.000 Everything is progressive.
00:30:59.000 But, you know, and that's...
00:31:00.000 Unfortunately, that's what a lot of people who watch TV and get all their information from it all the time.
00:31:04.000 They think when they hear new, progressive, and modern, that's it.
00:31:07.000 But his tactics, the socialistic tactics, have been on the planet since the beginning of time.
00:31:13.000 It's feudalism in a new package!
00:31:15.000 America and places and Greece and stuff were absolutely new.
00:31:19.000 And sure, America started like Greece.
00:31:21.000 Only the men had, you know, real freedom.
00:31:23.000 And only rich men had, you know, wealthy or, you know, well-off.
00:31:27.000 But as time changes, listen, I want everybody to be rich.
00:31:30.000 We're getting more goods and services.
00:31:31.000 That's the thing about technology.
00:31:33.000 Liberals think, or the intelligentsia of them, they think that everything's a finite sum.
00:31:38.000 I've heard them preach this from economics to psychology.
00:31:41.000 They've got this warped sense of everything.
00:31:44.000 And I'm not saying that there's not kernels of truth in a lot of what they're trying to do.
00:31:50.000 I'm not saying that there's not a good motive behind some of it.
00:31:52.000 But they have to understand, from the upper levels, all that's happening is big banks are taking over, international corporations are coming in, using their lobbying money to buy us up, to deregulate things, to bring down our borders.
00:32:02.000 And you have to understand this, liberals, you might think that you can create a utopian society here, which you can't do.
00:32:08.000 You've created something worse over the last 20 years.
00:32:11.000 I'm glad that change happened, but you aren't the authors of it entirely.
00:32:15.000 And, you know, times change.
00:32:16.000 You know, all I'm trying to say is I am so confused because I've got the facts all around me.
00:32:23.000 Clinton is an absolute monster.
00:32:25.000 He's worse than Richard Nixon.
00:32:27.000 Yeah, he's unbelievable.
00:32:28.000 You know, people just don't know it.
00:32:31.000 And they just don't want to find out.
00:32:33.000 And listen, people got on the K-Belly Hutchinson for saying stuff about Clinton and his thing.
00:32:39.000 That was kind of mean-spirited.
00:32:41.000 Does anybody remember our governor, Ann Richards, saying George Bush was born with a silver foot in his mouth?
00:32:50.000 Yeah, he was born with a silver foot in his mouth when he was shot down twice defending this country.
00:32:54.000 He didn't chicken out.
00:32:54.000 He went and volunteered and was a fighter pilot and was an ace.
00:32:58.000 Let me tell you a funny story.
00:32:59.000 I was in a movie theater and I was getting some popcorn.
00:33:02.000 I heard this person screaming real loud.
00:33:04.000 You know, one of these deep, raspy voices.
00:33:06.000 I didn't know what it was.
00:33:08.000 Finally, you know, she kept screaming and screaming.
00:33:10.000 I turned around.
00:33:11.000 It was Ann Richards standing in front of the line saying, Don't get in front of me!
00:33:15.000 You can't!
00:33:15.000 She was, like, joking with one of the guys, but she was really, really, it was at the Arboretum.
00:33:20.000 She was really loud, bringing all the attention in the theater to her and her friends that were there.
00:33:24.000 And it's like, I didn't really recognize the popcorn dude.
00:33:27.000 She said, You know who that is?
00:33:28.000 That's the ex-govern.
00:33:30.000 I saw Ann Richards where I work out, and she was kind of lording around.
00:33:36.000 And I just walked up to her, I looked her right in the face, and I said, hey, I've seen you on Doritos tonight.
00:33:41.000 I just walked off like, hey, that's your biggest accomplishment, lady.
00:33:45.000 And I have nothing against powerful women.
00:33:46.000 I'm all for Margaret Thatcher.
00:33:48.000 I'm all for my mother.
00:33:49.000 I'm for my grandmothers.
00:33:50.000 I'm for strong women that really do something, that support families, that become scientists, that become doctors, that become, you know, I mean, I want women to go to the stars.
00:33:58.000 Women are equal to men or better.
00:34:00.000 It's just that these women who want to mutate other women and crush them down into this little sick ball, I'm totally against it.
00:34:07.000 And I'm sorry, Ann Richards just drips with hatred.
00:34:11.000 Just because she smiles doesn't mean it's fine.
00:34:13.000 I'm going to read you what Kay Bailey Hutchinson said in a little rhyme she told.
00:34:16.000 Every one of these things is true, folks.
00:34:18.000 That's what's scary.
00:34:20.000 America, it's time to wake up to President Clinton and his high taxing, free spending, promise-breaking, Social Security taxing, healthcare socializing, and criminalizing.
00:34:30.000 Drug coddling, power grabbing, business busting, lawsuit loving, UN following, FBI abusing, IRS increasing, $200 haircutting, and also holding up air traffic while this was going on, gas taxing, that's taxing on everybody, over-regulating, bureaucracy trusting, class baiting, that's an important one, privacy violating, that's a huge one, values crushing, truth dodging, Medicare forsaking, property rights taking, job destroying friends.
00:35:00.000 Look, we all know every one of those things is true.
00:35:03.000 You know, Clinton, at first it was, I've got 10 files, 100 files, 200 files, 900 files, 1,000 files, 6,000 files.
00:35:09.000 You can't go in that vault.
00:35:10.000 You can't go in there.
00:35:11.000 You can't indict Ron Brown.
00:35:13.000 Suddenly, Ron Brown's plane just blows up.
00:35:14.000 For people that don't know, he was Commerce Secretary.
00:35:16.000 Well, he's just another one of Clinton's friends' associates that have died.
00:35:20.000 Oh, well, let's not discuss that, because we're just extremists full of things.
00:35:23.000 It should make everybody's spine just cringe to see how somebody like that could get elected.
00:35:28.000 Caesar didn't get stabbed in the Senate in Rome.
00:35:30.000 Leaders haven't been killed.
00:35:32.000 Kennedy didn't get shot in the head.
00:35:34.000 We haven't had three presidents assassinated.
00:35:38.000 There's no danger in politics.
00:35:41.000 Everything's friendly and loving.
00:35:42.000 Do what the media tells you.
00:35:43.000 It's fine to believe in conspiracies when you're watching a Tom Cruise movie or something.
00:35:49.000 It's fine to believe in this and that when you're watching a movie.
00:35:51.000 But don't believe that these conspiracy nuts, they're full of it.
00:35:54.000 When a plane blows up at 20,000 feet in the air, Well, let me make one other comment.
00:35:59.000 Oh, we're just crazy.
00:36:00.000 One other comment, let somebody else talk, and this is kind of a local beef that I have.
00:36:03.000 You know, when the Republican Convention was going on and they were, you know, all these people speaking, Liddy Dole, Elizabeth Dole, and Bob Dole, the local, with the change in the way the federal government's going, the local governments have to become more responsible.
00:36:17.000 So, of course, the week of the Republican Convention, the city council has this big...
00:36:21.000 They've got a tax and spend budget, and they have a big budget review going on where people can go down and speak about it.
00:36:27.000 So they schedule all that on top of the Republican convention.
00:36:30.000 Now that the Democrat convention is here, one or two of the city council members leave town.
00:36:35.000 I'm not going to mention any names.
00:36:37.000 They cancel the city council meetings.
00:36:39.000 You know, nothing's going on this week because the Democrat convention is going on.
00:36:43.000 And I guess it's their prerogative to be Democrat and do that, but I think it's in poor taste to, you know, Forget anything about the Republican convention and some of their constituents are Republicans, but I guess that's the time.
00:36:56.000 It's in your face.
00:36:57.000 If you're not in my group, you don't belong in my group.
00:36:59.000 Well, that's the thing.
00:37:01.000 And I don't mean the nice guy on the street who just believes the rhetoric he's handed.
00:37:05.000 It's not his fault because there's so much of it.
00:37:08.000 I don't know everything either.
00:37:10.000 But it's like anybody who tries to reform things is automatically labeled as a racist or a bigot or a fascist or a bat.
00:37:18.000 Ugly.
00:37:18.000 I mean, go no further than to look at the bumper stickers.
00:37:22.000 And sure, Republicans, we engage in that too.
00:37:24.000 But if you really just focus right now to the whole basis of the whole crux of the whole issue, there is a deep-seated problem in America that we no longer get reality-based.
00:37:37.000 And we don't know right from wrong anymore.
00:37:40.000 And all anyone has to do is look how children, child crime is way up.
00:37:46.000 Ten-year-old kids are killing kids now.
00:37:48.000 That used to never happen.
00:37:50.000 It might happen once a year in the whole country.
00:37:52.000 I don't want to get religious, because I know you don't talk too much about it, but it does say, you know, when the times come, people will be blinded from the truth.
00:37:59.000 But one final comment I'm going to hang up.
00:38:01.000 I think every Republican, and when your callers call in, it should be our duty to find a Democrat to spend an extra 15% in their salary in taxes so that we can have a 15% cut.
00:38:13.000 They're so much against it.
00:38:14.000 Let them pay the extra 15%.
00:38:16.000 So we can have it and then, you know, find out why they will do it or they won't do it.
00:38:21.000 Well, hold on for a second.
00:38:22.000 You're absolutely right, but do you know something that me and you are guilty of?
00:38:25.000 I have found that me and you spend so much time probably reading, being involved with actual politicians, you know, like going to city council stuff or, you know, seeing what they're saying and watching C-SPAN and seeing commentators and seeing lies that we, just like everybody else, have a skewed view of things.
00:38:40.000 We see things, we're watching the hardcores, the real propaganda masters, the liars.
00:38:45.000 And so we're real mad.
00:38:46.000 We're like, those liberals, those liberals, those liberals, they're a bunch of liars.
00:38:48.000 We know they're liars.
00:38:49.000 We've got the facts right here, but they don't seem to care.
00:38:53.000 Well, but there's a guy on the street who just thinks, I thought the Democrats were for the working man.
00:38:57.000 Yeah, I know.
00:38:58.000 And we've got to go to them and say, did you know Clinton was for a million and a half wiretaps?
00:39:02.000 Wouldn't you like to have 15% more of your taxes in your pocket?
00:39:04.000 And they say, yeah, but I want to balance the budget first.
00:39:07.000 The experts say that we've got to balance the budget.
00:39:09.000 I want to look at them kindly and say, Friend, it's been proven a hundred times all over the world.
00:39:15.000 Countries with lower tax brackets have increased growth.
00:39:18.000 Look at South Korea, the fastest-growing country in the world.
00:39:20.000 They have a 10% tax, and they are just exploding by leaps and bounds.
00:39:25.000 They've got so much money, they're coming over here and building plants right here in Austin.
00:39:29.000 You know, look at America.
00:39:30.000 We used to have a low tax bracket.
00:39:31.000 We were the apple of the world's eye once it got industrialized.
00:39:36.000 And we've just got to keep quoting the facts and saying, John F. Kennedy cut taxes and the revenues swelled.
00:39:43.000 Harry Truman, another Democrat, he cut taxes and revenues swelled.
00:39:46.000 While Reagan cut taxes and revenues swelled, but the era of big government was already here and fully inflated since Franklin Delano Roosevelt and other people, and it was too big by then.
00:39:57.000 It had ballooned and gotten too fat and powerful, and so Reagan said, okay, everybody just spend as much as you want, but I'm getting my tax cut.
00:40:03.000 And things went pretty good, but then our deficit increased.
00:40:06.000 But it increased a trillion dollars during...
00:40:11.000 It's really simple.
00:40:17.000 You know, to anybody, you can't manage your household by spending more money than you have.
00:40:22.000 You'll get thrown in jail for bouncing a check, or they'll start taking things away from you for not paying your bills.
00:40:28.000 Most people, they make money where they work, and then they spend a portion of it that they can afford, and they save a little bit.
00:40:35.000 I mean, 90% of Americans do that, but we have a government that's the complete opposite.
00:40:42.000 They take in 10% and spend 90%.
00:40:44.000 That's why the capital gains tax is such a bad tax.
00:40:48.000 We've been told it's for the rich.
00:40:49.000 No, it's for you.
00:40:49.000 If you've got a $100,000 home and you want to sell it and move up to a better home, that's called improvement.
00:40:55.000 That's called growth.
00:40:56.000 That's called health.
00:40:57.000 That's called strength.
00:40:59.000 They're all for not tearing in the environment, and I am too.
00:41:02.000 Teddy Roosevelt was the first president who was pro-environment.
00:41:05.000 You know, let us have millions of acres.
00:41:07.000 And by that I'm saying, parties change, movements change, things shift.
00:41:12.000 And I think the power establishment, which is in the Republican Party too, I have to say, is getting very aware that we want a cutting government, and that we want this.
00:41:20.000 And they've gotten this big teetering thing built, and that's why they're wanting to increase the size of the National Police Force.
00:41:26.000 That's why they're funding these agencies that want to ban guns.
00:41:29.000 And then that's really what these want, you know, Handgun Control Incorporated.
00:41:33.000 They want to get rid of guns.
00:41:35.000 Listen, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, all these people warned you.
00:41:38.000 They said expressly, anybody who tries to confiscate the guns, anybody who tries to regulate and control guns, watch out, jump up and scream.
00:41:45.000 Well, they put it in there as a right to have guns to protect us from our government.
00:41:50.000 I mean, that's why it's there.
00:41:51.000 Exactly.
00:41:52.000 The first thing is our amount.
00:41:53.000 The First Amendment, freedom of speech, that is the most powerful, just like many books say.
00:41:59.000 The first thing is our tongue, to talk to people.
00:42:02.000 That's the first right.
00:42:03.000 Then the second right is physical strength.
00:42:06.000 And on go the rights.
00:42:08.000 And that's why those amendments are there.
00:42:11.000 Now, these men, these founders who weren't perfect, but by all accounts are the biggest genius in the world, the longest standing continual government in the world, they set up something that really works.
00:42:23.000 And America's got injustices.
00:42:24.000 I know that they're celebrated in the universities.
00:42:27.000 I know that the elitists want us to hate America because there's such a rich heritage.
00:42:31.000 And America has stood against world takeovers and empire many times.
00:42:36.000 We've got to realize that America is the key.
00:42:39.000 America is everybody that lives here.
00:42:40.000 We've got to understand that we've got to get strong and that it's not racist to say we must control our borders.
00:42:46.000 Every other country in the world does, from China to Germany to Britain to wherever.
00:42:51.000 We should let in legal immigrants.
00:42:52.000 And it's not a matter of...
00:42:56.000 You know, abortion is right or wrong, although I think it's wrong.
00:42:58.000 I'm not going to shove it down someone's throat, and I'm not going to try to shove down their throat my morals, but don't ask me to pay my taxes to fund something I don't believe in.
00:43:07.000 Don't ask me to pay taxes to fund somebody's abortion.
00:43:11.000 Don't ask me to pay taxes to fund distributing condoms in elementary school.
00:43:16.000 People may think that's right.
00:43:18.000 Let them go pay for it themselves.
00:43:20.000 Don't ask me to work my butt off and support something that I'm totally against.
00:43:25.000 Well, I agree with you, buddy.
00:43:27.000 Well, hey, listen, thanks a lot for the call.
00:43:28.000 Yeah, and I mean, get involved.
00:43:30.000 And listen, folks, we're not extremists.
00:43:33.000 I'd like you to call me.
00:43:34.000 I've got all these calls lined up, but I'm going to start going through calls a lot faster.
00:43:38.000 Call me if you support Clinton, and just tell me why.
00:43:41.000 Look, I'll agree.
00:43:43.000 I don't agree with everything the Christian Coalition wants, but they're not half as radical as some of these leftist fringes.
00:43:49.000 Nobody's going to take your right to have an abortion away, but you sure as hell ought to have the respect.
00:43:54.000 For your own body not to get pregnant and to have to do that.
00:43:59.000 I'm for personal things, for people, for outreach programs.
00:44:05.000 A girl gets pregnant and letting her sit in a really nice place and taking care of her while she has that baby and treating her nice.
00:44:13.000 Because it's been proven that it really traumatizes women badly to have these abortions.
00:44:20.000 Well, I don't want to get into that whole thing.
00:44:21.000 I'm just saying, look, the media controls you with that.
00:44:24.000 Women, they control a woman with that.
00:44:25.000 Saying, they want to take your right.
00:44:26.000 They want to take your right.
00:44:27.000 The Republican Party has been pro-life since 1980, and the right to have an abortion hasn't been taken away.
00:44:33.000 Nobody's going to take that, okay?
00:44:34.000 You want to, you know, that's why it's such a popular political thing, because it's an empty subject.
00:44:39.000 The children aren't empty.
00:44:40.000 It's a very important subject, but it's empty.
00:44:42.000 It doesn't matter to anybody.
00:44:43.000 There's no money in it.
00:44:45.000 See, to the big banks and people, what does killing children mean?
00:44:48.000 What does getting rid of old people mean?
00:44:49.000 What does euthanasia mean?
00:44:50.000 It means nothing.
00:44:51.000 It's just human life.
00:44:51.000 It's cheap.
00:44:52.000 Human life's been cheap through the whole future of the world.
00:44:54.000 America are the ones that died.
00:44:56.000 We're the ones that fought a war to end slavery.
00:44:59.000 We're the ones who have fought our battles.
00:45:02.000 And it's the good groups of the world that have fought to end evil.
00:45:08.000 Societies where they just give up.
00:45:09.000 Things just get worse.
00:45:11.000 Hello, you're on there.
00:45:12.000 Hello.
00:45:13.000 Yeah.
00:45:15.000 Yeah, I'd just like to say that I've been living in Austin for a long time and I've been watching you.
00:45:20.000 Can you speak up?
00:45:22.000 I can't really hear you.
00:45:24.000 You can't hear me now?
00:45:25.000 Yeah, I hear you great.
00:45:26.000 Okay, one thing I'd like to say is that I've been watching you for a while and it would be a lot easier to listen to you if you would calm down a little bit, maybe sit back away from the screen.
00:45:38.000 You're making a lot of good points, but it's kind of stressful hearing you.
00:45:45.000 Okay, well go ahead and give me some other points other than myself.
00:45:49.000 Thanks for the encouragement.
00:45:50.000 No, you're doing great, and all your callers are your last caller.
00:45:54.000 He had a lot of great points, but like I say, it's kind of hard to listen and try to learn what y'all are talking about.
00:46:02.000 Well, I'm just trying to grab people who are just conditioned by television to like what's real popular and real fast-moving and has energy in it.
00:46:11.000 And, hell, when I was first doing my shows, I was flying off the handle, but I don't want to spend a lot of time on that.
00:46:17.000 No, not really.
00:46:24.000 I mean, I'm just trying to learn and find out what's going on.
00:46:28.000 I promise you, I don't come up here just for nothing.
00:46:30.000 This stuff I'm discussing is real.
00:46:32.000 It's true.
00:46:34.000 Oh, no, I believe you.
00:46:35.000 That's why I want to watch and learn and find out.
00:46:38.000 But, you know, like I say, I don't want to trust everybody and believe everybody.
00:46:41.000 No, no, no.
00:46:41.000 I'm not saying just run after me blindly.
00:46:43.000 Start watching C-SPAN. Invest time in it.
00:46:45.000 Find out what's really going on.
00:46:46.000 And I'll tell you this real fast.
00:46:49.000 The Republican Party right now is the party of reforms.
00:46:56.000 Sure, Bob Dole, he doesn't want the...
00:46:58.000 The flat tax, you know, a rate of 15% like Jack Kemp does.
00:47:02.000 He just wants a 15% cut in the rate of increase.
00:47:05.000 That's, you know, ten times less or whatever, or, you know, like five or six times less.
00:47:09.000 But is that really going to help in the long run?
00:47:12.000 Yeah, well, it...
00:47:13.000 Excuse me?
00:47:14.000 Is that going to help in the long run?
00:47:15.000 It'll absolutely help in the long run.
00:47:17.000 All we've got to do...
00:47:18.000 Listen, more...
00:47:18.000 This happens every time.
00:47:20.000 You cut taxes drastically.
00:47:22.000 You know, it has to be a good-sized cut.
00:47:24.000 Revenue swells because people make more money.
00:47:26.000 It always infuses the economy.
00:47:28.000 What it is is, you see, government wants control.
00:47:31.000 You know, they've had money for a long time.
00:47:32.000 The powerful elites that control government, they've had money.
00:47:34.000 They're making their money.
00:47:35.000 Their money's going offshore.
00:47:36.000 So why not take our money and fund their projects and fund their pork and fund their corporate welfare and all this other BS? And I'll agree.
00:47:43.000 Dole is in with all that other stuff.
00:47:45.000 But Clinton is in with the even more dangerous elements and is pushing for, you know, all these other very extreme measures and the press never calls him on it.
00:47:53.000 The Republicans at least get called on their stuff.
00:47:56.000 But, listen, thanks for the call, buddy.
00:47:57.000 All right, thanks, bud.
00:47:58.000 I appreciate it.
00:47:59.000 And, I mean, thanks for watching.
00:48:00.000 And, I mean, so I'm going to start going through calls real fast.
00:48:03.000 Please, somebody call me and tell me why you're against Bob Dole.
00:48:06.000 You know, other than some cliché or something that you've heard off the press.
00:48:09.000 I'd like to hear, you know, some issues.
00:48:12.000 You know, some issues that you disagree with.
00:48:13.000 I would love to hear it.
00:48:15.000 Oh, you're on there.
00:48:17.000 Hey, yeah, man.
00:48:18.000 I was wondering, have you ever seen the Bill Clinton Chronicles and shit?
00:48:23.000 Yes, I sure have.
00:48:24.000 Yeah, what do you have to say about that?
00:48:27.000 I haven't looked into it in depth.
00:48:31.000 I haven't really studied it.
00:48:33.000 I'm sure some of it's conjectural, like most of the media you see out there.
00:48:36.000 You know, most people take media for truth now.
00:48:38.000 So, I mean, I question everything.
00:48:40.000 I'll tell you this.
00:48:42.000 When we used to go visit Arkansas and go fishing and stuff, we used to go to the historical markers, and we used to go read about it with my parents.
00:48:49.000 And I used to learn about it, and I learned how Al Capone used to vacation there, you know, during the summers and stuff, and in the winters, too, and how they had horse racing and how, you know, and, you know, all this other stuff, and how it's been a pretty shady state for a long time.
00:49:01.000 And I learned about, and before I ever heard of Bill Clinton, I heard about how that's a, you know, a state that, you know, where you'll get shot if you get out of line.
00:49:10.000 And, because it's such a backwoods place, nobody ever hears about it.
00:49:14.000 And then, I started hearing about Bill Clinton.
00:49:16.000 And I saw the Clinton Chronicles.
00:49:18.000 I have to tell you, it showed news footage from local news teams, local newscasts, where they were getting bodies of dead policemen out of, you know, garbage dumps with their arms and legs cut off who had worked for Clinton.
00:49:28.000 Because in Arkansas, the state troopers are like the Secret Service for the governor.
00:49:33.000 They protect Clinton.
00:49:34.000 And, like, ten of the people that have worked for Clinton over his 12 years as governor or whatever, they're all dead.
00:49:42.000 A large percentage of them.
00:49:43.000 You know, you had some of them who husband and wife commit suicide with shotguns at the back of the head.
00:49:48.000 And that show, when it showed the newscast, when it showed how private investigators who were investigating Clinton, who owned firms, who were reputable, not some fly-by-nine investigators, got machine gunned off the road.
00:50:01.000 And it showed local newscasts on the show.
00:50:03.000 I'm sure you've seen it, obviously.
00:50:04.000 It would show how he was machine gunned off the road.
00:50:06.000 I don't even want to get into all that stuff.
00:50:08.000 All I know is...
00:50:09.000 Is that if you really study into Clinton and see how many people have had little accidents around him, he reminds me of Richard Nixon.
00:50:16.000 Much worse.
00:50:17.000 And you can say, but Nixon's a Republican, he's a Democrat, I guess they're all bad.
00:50:21.000 No, you get these power hungry people who'll do anything for power and they'll do anything.
00:50:25.000 You know, Bob Dole's just been being a politician for 40 years and just, you know, doing the stuff that I consider not too bad.
00:50:32.000 Clinton has had a, you know, a rocket rise to power, and that's because he's been, you know, doing what was needed in Arkansas, and he got a big power base together.
00:50:40.000 I'm going to tell you, I sit here and talk for six hours about how bad Bill Clinton is, and people, a lot of people don't believe it, so I won't talk about it.
00:50:46.000 I'm just telling you the guy, stuff that I can see that he's done, from a million and a half wiretaps that he wanted, to gun control, which is against the Constitution, to, and I'm sure people have been brainwashed that guns are bad, so they're all for that, you know, to socialize health care.
00:51:00.000 To, you know, to hiring an ex-Nazi, well, a person whose father was a known Nazi who wasn't even born in this country, General Casvilli, Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff.
00:51:11.000 You know, think, the last, I mean, that's a powerful position.
00:51:13.000 Colin Powell was the last member of that.
00:51:16.000 Colin Powell was the last Joint Chiefs of Staff during the Republicans.
00:51:19.000 And look what a star he is, how intelligent he is.
00:51:21.000 And then now here comes Clinton, and who does he appoint?
00:51:23.000 I saw the Senate confirmation.
00:51:24.000 They were asking him, sir?
00:51:26.000 And that was when they had a Democratic Senate and stuff.
00:51:30.000 And that's the only reason he got confirmed.
00:51:31.000 General Kashvili wouldn't have gotten confirmed now when they asked him about his father.
00:51:35.000 And, well, you weren't involved in this when you were young, were you?
00:51:39.000 When you were, you know, stuff like that.
00:51:41.000 Because he was over there during all this stuff, you know?
00:51:43.000 His father was a known Nazi.
00:51:46.000 Worked for the Nazis.
00:51:49.000 It's just a fact.
00:51:50.000 You can say I'm full of it because you're too, you know, whoever's out there, people can say, well, you know, I'm too lazy.
00:51:54.000 Go check it out.
00:51:55.000 Okay, don't believe me.
00:51:56.000 Go believe the news.
00:51:57.000 It lasts you all day long.
00:51:59.000 And I mean, you know, don't believe somebody that sits there and gives you actual facts.
00:52:03.000 Okay, okay, back to this Clinton Chronicle thing.
00:52:06.000 I've just watched it once, you know, and I was wondering how much truth you think there is to those people or what they had to say on there.
00:52:13.000 You know, you think that an opposition could have got those people to say what they said?
00:52:20.000 I'm sure that it's slanted.
00:52:22.000 I watched it.
00:52:22.000 Because, I mean, it has all the music and stuff, you know, and you're watching it, and it's all dramatic.
00:52:28.000 Sure.
00:52:29.000 And, you know, 60 Minutes put out those patients saying it was all bull, which was very slanted.
00:52:32.000 You know, 60 Minutes was slanted.
00:52:34.000 I mean, you see both sides of the slanted issue.
00:52:36.000 You know, I want to know, you know, how much you think of that as really true, you know, about him bringing drugs into the country, about his dealings with womanizing and all that stuff.
00:52:47.000 Well, that's not important to me because, you know, he's got...
00:52:50.000 Him bringing drugs into the country is important to you?
00:52:52.000 No.
00:52:53.000 No, no.
00:52:55.000 See, that's why I... It's very important to me.
00:52:58.000 Hold on.
00:52:58.000 I'm not a professional at this.
00:53:00.000 Okay, okay, okay.
00:53:01.000 What I mean is...
00:53:02.000 That's what I call to see what your opinion was.
00:53:04.000 ...is that why dwell on little things that aren't a big deal compared to the other stuff?
00:53:08.000 You know, compared to socializing one of the U.S. economy, compared to a pattern of wiretaps, to a pattern of beefing up all of the national police force at the national level.
00:53:19.000 I agree with you on that.
00:53:20.000 I mean, you know, that's what scares me.
00:53:22.000 And all I'm saying is...
00:53:23.000 I understand.
00:53:24.000 I see your point clearly on that.
00:53:25.000 I mean, all I want to be is a free American, and I know that's the old cliché.
00:53:31.000 I love America.
00:53:32.000 I know it's not perfect, but I know that it's being preached against in all the universities.
00:53:35.000 And why?
00:53:35.000 Because it's being funded.
00:53:37.000 That's what's popular.
00:53:38.000 And why is it popular?
00:53:39.000 Because we've got such a rich heritage, and sure, we've done bad, but so have all the countries.
00:53:42.000 And I'm going to tell you this.
00:53:43.000 From all my studies, but for five years of studying, and I was, you know, kind of watching politics before that.
00:53:48.000 Yeah, Eric, where did you study at?
00:53:49.000 Well, I mean, I've been to college, but no, I mean, what I'm saying is, well, how do I study when I'm oil painting, not after work?
00:53:55.000 I watch C-SPAN, and I see Ms. Schroeder, Patrick, you know, Patricia Schroeder from Colorado, Democrat, come forward.
00:54:03.000 I watch her introduce the Schroeder-Moorhead Patent Act, and it's an act saying that no longer will patents be secret when they're submitted to the U.S. Patent Office.
00:54:11.000 They will be on the Internet, and anyone can get them and use them.
00:54:14.000 That blows out all patents.
00:54:15.000 True, true.
00:54:16.000 I've done some patent research out at Rice.
00:54:19.000 I know what you're talking about there.
00:54:21.000 Well, yeah, I mean, it's very complex.
00:54:22.000 I could spend 10 minutes just talking about the patent issue.
00:54:24.000 Just, look, look, I give you more information than the news does.
00:54:27.000 They just gloss over things.
00:54:29.000 I want people to go out and fight for themselves, and you'll go out and look up the Schroeder Moorhead patent back, and you'll freak out for yourself, or you'll get a lawyer to interpret it if you're not good at that, but it's really actually easy to interpret.
00:54:39.000 It's very simple.
00:54:40.000 It had about, I mean, all I'm saying is this.
00:54:42.000 Folks, there, look.
00:54:44.000 Who's had the power for 70 years?
00:54:46.000 Who's had really total carte blanche power because the Congress spends money for 40?
00:54:50.000 The Democrats.
00:54:52.000 Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey.
00:54:53.000 Don't get all hyped up, man.
00:54:54.000 I was just calling to get your opinion on something, you know.
00:54:57.000 You don't have to go off preaching or anything.
00:55:00.000 Well, listen, the reason I get hyped up, and thank you for the call.
00:55:03.000 I appreciate it.
00:55:04.000 The reason I get hyped up, and please call me at 477-2288.
00:55:07.000 I've got a line open.
00:55:11.000 The reason I get hyped up is because I got a lot of information to get out, and I appreciate you calling, I appreciate the advice people give me, but let's focus on what's really going on.
00:55:20.000 They want to tell you out there in the media, they want to say, hey folks, everything is the way it's always been.
00:55:31.000 Just lay back in your life.
00:55:33.000 Government's always crooked, so screw the politicians, they're all a bunch of crooks, blow them all out of there, elect nobody, blah, blah, blah.
00:55:39.000 You've got to have a political system in a country this complex.
00:55:45.000 You know, we're not a tribe or a band of 10 or 12 people.
00:55:50.000 And so, what I'm trying to say is that our system of government isn't perfect by any stretch of the imagination.
00:55:59.000 But look at what's being produced by these different organizations.
00:56:05.000 Look what's been going on over the past 40 years.
00:56:12.000 The American people revolted, and we said, give us freedom, give it to us now.
00:56:17.000 The Democrats are in power because they've been in power.
00:56:18.000 And they said, okay, okay, we'll have some desegregation and stuff like that.
00:56:21.000 And now they get all the credit when Democrat governors were, you know, I mean, were keeping little black kids out of school.
00:56:27.000 And by that I mean both sides were being bad.
00:56:29.000 But they are the power structure.
00:56:31.000 Just come to realize that.
00:56:33.000 That the Republicans are the opposition party.
00:56:35.000 The Republicans are there just to try to stop them.
00:56:38.000 And sure, they're doing all their pork barrel and all their BS just to get elected.
00:56:41.000 Nobody's perfect.
00:56:42.000 But don't believe this big media push that, oh my gosh, the government is just horrible and crooked and screw it, I'm not going to vote.
00:56:52.000 Get out there and vote for Bob Dole and Jack Kent.
00:56:55.000 They will institute, they won't give us like everybody says, they will institute and implement a 15% tax cut across the board for everybody.
00:57:05.000 $500 per child tax credits.
00:57:07.000 That's for anybody with kids.
00:57:09.000 Just a little extra, you know, I mean, imagine $500 a child.
00:57:11.000 That's quite a bit.
00:57:14.000 A cut in the capital gains tax of half.
00:57:16.000 That's on investment.
00:57:17.000 That's for everybody.
00:57:18.000 That's not a rich man's tax.
00:57:19.000 Sure, the rich will make the most money out of it, but who cares?
00:57:21.000 So will I. It's across the board.
00:57:23.000 It's fair.
00:57:25.000 That's the key, folks.
00:57:27.000 The key is, is that don't believe the experts, the so-called experts that told you NAPTA and GATT was going to have a trade surplus or trade deficit.
00:57:33.000 It's gotten much larger.
00:57:37.000 You know, learn this.
00:57:39.000 These so-called experts who are, you know, highfalutin that you see on the news, they're being funded by a university or whatever that's being funded by grants from big corporations.
00:57:48.000 And I'm not saying corporations are the enemy.
00:57:50.000 But we've just got to let them know, hey, we're going to have, you know, we're not going to keep listening to all your BS. Well, trade deficits just skyrockets.
00:57:57.000 And I know it's more complicated than that.
00:58:00.000 The simple fact of it is it makes me very angry when so-called experts get up there and they say, I think the American people are a little bit smarter than this.
00:58:08.000 They know that we need to have, you know, tax cuts sound very good and sound very nice, but first we need to balance this budget.
00:58:16.000 Okay, Mr. Clinton, why did you veto a balanced budget amendment twice?
00:58:20.000 Why did you veto welfare reform twice?
00:58:23.000 Why did you veto partial birth abortion twice?
00:58:26.000 Why did you veto all this stuff so many times?
00:58:29.000 Why did you do all this?
00:58:30.000 Why are you a big liar?
00:58:32.000 Why doesn't the media put you on the spot?
00:58:33.000 Because he's the man.
00:58:34.000 He does what the rich want.
00:58:36.000 I mean, the real rich.
00:58:37.000 I don't mean somebody worth ten million.
00:58:38.000 I don't mean somebody worth five billion.
00:58:40.000 That's who's rich.
00:58:41.000 That's the power broker.
00:58:42.000 It takes a lot of money to really leverage things.
00:58:47.000 I really...
00:58:48.000 I mean, what I'm trying to say to you is this.
00:58:51.000 It's been proven unequivocally...
00:58:54.000 Zip nana, when you cut taxes, revenue swells.
00:58:57.000 I keep repeating that over and over because I want people to understand that.
00:58:59.000 It's been proven that government is a danger any time it gets too big.
00:59:03.000 Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
00:59:05.000 That's Lord Acton, okay, from Britain.
00:59:07.000 Very famous quote.
00:59:09.000 History repeats itself to a fashion.
00:59:13.000 So you have to be aware of this.
00:59:15.000 And I don't try to set myself up here as a smart guy.
00:59:17.000 And I know I kind of speak, you know, loud, do this and that.
00:59:21.000 And I understand that the media, I understand that the media You know, soothes you and says, I think the American people are smart enough to know.
00:59:29.000 I can sit here and be a snake and go, I think you're smart enough to know out there that Clinton just cares and he's got, you know, he's for clean water and he's for balancing the budget and he's for this and he's for that.
00:59:40.000 But I'm not going to do that all snakely and, you know, and say, oh, you're so smart.
00:59:45.000 Oh, you know, I know you're smart out there, but I'm not going to, you know, play that high school game of...
00:59:49.000 You know, Bob knows we're cool because he's cool.
00:59:52.000 That's kind of the game they play.
00:59:53.000 I'm saying to you, Clinton signed the Republicans' clean water bill and got all the credit.
00:59:59.000 Republicans got none.
01:00:01.000 Clinton signed the Republicans' moderate welfare bill and now it's claiming that he's going to go back on it.
01:00:06.000 See, that's how he operates.
01:00:07.000 Clinton is for all the big government.
01:00:09.000 Clinton is for the crooked behavior.
01:00:11.000 Just go back to the facts and find out about it.
01:00:13.000 When Clinton tells seniors that...
01:00:18.000 That the Republicans and the press doesn't question him?
01:00:21.000 That Republicans are going to slash, you know, Social Security and all this?
01:00:30.000 That's just a bald-faced lie.
01:00:31.000 Clinton levied a huge tax on Social Security.
01:00:33.000 Clinton levied a huge gas tax, the biggest single gas tax increase in U.S. history.
01:00:38.000 Clinton has dozens of taxes attached to all kinds of things that you never even heard about because the president wants you to know about it because they want government to swell.
01:00:48.000 Hello, you're on the air.
01:00:49.000 Hello?
01:00:50.000 Yeah.
01:00:51.000 Yeah, man, you hung up on me earlier.
01:00:53.000 I was wondering how Dole's going to implement that 15% across-the-board tax for everybody.
01:01:00.000 He really doesn't even have the power to do that.
01:01:02.000 I know, I've heard that in the press.
01:01:04.000 What are you talking about?
01:01:04.000 The Congress wants to cut taxes by half.
01:01:08.000 Republicans are probably going to be...
01:01:10.000 For sure will probably control the House and almost for sure control the Senate when he comes in, which the Democrats have been doing for, you know, 40, 80 years.
01:01:18.000 So it's time to give them a chance, and they will cut taxes.
01:01:20.000 And that's why the era of big government is freaking out.
01:01:22.000 Because the Republicans come in, they're going to have a moderate tax cut, things are going to boom, the American people have finally gotten up and say, we want government cut, so things will get cut this time, or things will get held where they are, revenues will swell, deficits will go down, people will say, hey, this really works.
01:01:36.000 Just like it does in South Korea, the fact that it's growing an economy in the world.
01:01:38.000 Just like it works here, just like it works there.
01:01:40.000 And boom, growth will explode and then people will finally say, you know, that was a load of crap.
01:01:46.000 Everything's great now.
01:01:47.000 Boom, that's out of the way.
01:01:48.000 I'm going to worry about raising my kids.
01:01:50.000 That's what they're scared about.
01:01:51.000 Because the house of cards, the big crooked scam, is fixing to fall over.
01:01:56.000 Hello?
01:01:56.000 Uh-huh.
01:01:58.000 Well, listen, I didn't hang up on you.
01:02:01.000 I'm just going to some calls real fast.
01:02:02.000 Uh-huh, yeah.
01:02:03.000 I just had a couple more ideas that I wanted to show at you.
01:02:06.000 Go ahead.
01:02:07.000 I wanted to know what you had to think about Louis Farrakhan.
01:02:09.000 You know, he was going to accept that billion dollar from the Libyans from Mark Addafi and all that.
01:02:14.000 I don't like Louis Farrakhan.
01:02:15.000 I have seen Louis Farrakhan on Austin Access on a Nation of Islam tape say that 300 spaceships flying around and that there's a mother wheel up in space.
01:02:24.000 Yeah, and that he's Jesus Christ and all that.
01:02:26.000 Did you see that?
01:02:27.000 I didn't hear that, but I did see him say the other stuff.
01:02:29.000 And I saw Khalid Muhammad and him say, That all white people were going to be pushed like a fire.
01:02:35.000 I don't care.
01:02:35.000 He's one bad person like all the rest.
01:02:37.000 All I said earlier, you know, all people have bad people.
01:02:42.000 Hitler was a white man, and I think he was a lot worse than Louis Farrakhan.
01:02:46.000 You know, all I'm trying to say is that we're all humans, and earlier all I said about Louis Farrakhan was is that what's so dangerous about him is he speaks a lot of truth.
01:02:54.000 He says, you know...
01:02:55.000 That is true.
01:02:56.000 I'd like to see him bring the black community together.
01:02:58.000 That's true, but...
01:03:00.000 You know, as tactics of doing it, I don't really approve of some of the...
01:03:05.000 No, I do not approve of Louis Farrakhan, but who I do approve of is Tony Brown, who's now a Republican.
01:03:09.000 Tony Brown, I'm not familiar with him.
01:03:11.000 He is just incredible.
01:03:13.000 He says, get computers into the inner city, like Newt Gendrich says every week.
01:03:17.000 That's true.
01:03:18.000 Is he a senator, or what's his position or anything?
01:03:22.000 No, he's a writer and a lecturer, and he has a couple of PhDs and all the other stuff.
01:03:25.000 He's a talking head, but he has a journal on PBS. It's very intelligent, very well crafted.
01:03:33.000 And since he's gotten more conservative, I haven't seen him on there as much.
01:03:37.000 But he says everything I'm saying.
01:03:41.000 He has a much larger education than me.
01:03:44.000 He agrees.
01:03:45.000 He sees the trends that I see.
01:03:46.000 Anybody with common sense who really takes time to look at things sees the monolithic structure of the Democratic Party, the big city machine on a national scale.
01:03:54.000 I mean, the model works in Chicago.
01:03:56.000 It works in New York.
01:03:58.000 You know, controlling people, making them think that you're their friend just by bringing them some food while the big city bosses run everything.
01:04:03.000 You know, it's a big city machine put on a national scale.
01:04:07.000 It's time to stand up against it.
01:04:08.000 It's time to kick it back where it belongs and really take care of the American people and grow the strength and the heritage of America.
01:04:14.000 And if you want to be in some kind of weird, you know, click cult that's into smoking dope and shooting up or whatever, go do it, but don't break it in my house because I'm going to shoot you.
01:04:23.000 You know, child molesters out there, And I mean, thanks for the call, buddy.
01:04:29.000 Child molesters out there, don't for a second think that you're going to, you know, drop by and pick up my little sister and take her off and kill her like Richard Allen Davis killed Polly Clark.
01:04:37.000 I'm for law and order.
01:04:38.000 You see how that guy right there kind of giggled?
01:04:40.000 He thought it was funny hearing good old straight talk.
01:04:43.000 I'm sick of the women in this country getting raped and killed and then these liberal judges letting people like Richard Allen Davis look up this who can be convicted of 20 rapes.
01:04:54.000 Muggings, everything else you can imagine, mutilating his own family.
01:04:57.000 And a liberal judge in California released him.
01:05:00.000 That's what caused three strikes and you're out and all that other stuff.
01:05:03.000 And the media said, three strikes and you're out is terrible.
01:05:05.000 A man got put in prison for stealing a piece of pizza.
01:05:09.000 Yeah, he robbed and raped a couple other people.
01:05:11.000 And then he grabbed a piece of pizza from a school kid's hand and ran down the street and resisted arrest.
01:05:16.000 Third, three strikes, you're out.
01:05:17.000 And the media played that up, and three strikes is gone.
01:05:20.000 They're phasing it out in California.
01:05:22.000 See, that's how the media works.
01:05:23.000 They want things to break down.
01:05:25.000 They want things to disintegrate.
01:05:26.000 Why?
01:05:26.000 I have no earthly idea.
01:05:28.000 We've got about 20-something minutes left.
01:05:29.000 Let's go to some calls.
01:05:30.000 I'm going to just start blipping through the calls real fast.
01:05:33.000 Just tell me a comment until I get to a Democrat or somebody, because I want to hear.
01:05:37.000 And that guy who I just got onto, look, I don't claim to be your daddy and know everything and try to be Mr. Big and bossy.
01:05:42.000 All I'm trying to say is I want the straight talk to happen.
01:05:45.000 I'm sure you've got some ideas.
01:05:46.000 I'm sick of the crime.
01:05:48.000 I'm sick of the murder.
01:05:49.000 I'm sick of worrying about my little sister.
01:05:51.000 I'm sick of worrying about what's going on in this country.
01:05:53.000 I'm sick of these child rings.
01:05:55.000 You know, they caught two police down in San Antonio, husband and wife, who were part of a sex ring, and it kind of got hushed up.
01:06:01.000 It was in the news for a day or two.
01:06:03.000 You know, this stuff's going on.
01:06:04.000 Evil's breathing our bellies.
01:06:05.000 You know, I watch MTV and stuff, and it's just lowest common denominator blab, counterculture garbage.
01:06:12.000 How am I hung up on counterculture?
01:06:15.000 I'm not hung up on, you know, religious stuff.
01:06:17.000 I just know what happened to work for society.
01:06:19.000 I don't want to dictate rules to you.
01:06:21.000 But why celebrate degradation?
01:06:24.000 You know, Marilyn Manson, a rock band, sings about killing children.
01:06:28.000 And then they're on MTV now.
01:06:29.000 What kind of degeneracy is that?
01:06:31.000 It's like they've got to keep one-upping themselves.
01:06:33.000 Listen, I'm an oil painter.
01:06:34.000 I'm an artist.
01:06:35.000 I'm a business person.
01:06:37.000 I'm multifaceted.
01:06:38.000 I'm hyper.
01:06:39.000 I'm whatever.
01:06:39.000 I'm not perfect.
01:06:40.000 I'm young.
01:06:43.000 You know, I like to go out on a date with a girl.
01:06:44.000 I like to take my dog for a walk.
01:06:45.000 I say that every episode.
01:06:46.000 I'm not a bad person.
01:06:47.000 I'm just telling you, I get excited because I see a major threat to our safety because people won't wake up and understand what's happening in this country.
01:06:55.000 And they're too emotionally attached to their view of, I'm a Democrat, I'm a Republican.
01:06:59.000 Well, I have to tell you, it's worse with the Democrats.
01:07:02.000 And, you know, they've got this thing of, we can do no evil.
01:07:04.000 You know, a lot of Democrats are mad at pompous preachers, which I am too.
01:07:07.000 You know, the preacher who goes out and is totally pompous and thinks he knows everything and tells everybody how to live.
01:07:12.000 You know, while he's, you know, and then the next day he goes out and gets caught with a hooker.
01:07:17.000 I think that's terrible, too.
01:07:18.000 But look how the liberals are.
01:07:19.000 They claim they're for children and this and that and blah, blah, blah.
01:07:23.000 Consistently, cities where they're in control, things are much worse for children, much worse for women, many more rapes, much more drugs, because you've got to have some kind of control in society.
01:07:31.000 Or the government will step in and have total control.
01:07:34.000 And by control, I mean do whatever you want as long as it doesn't hurt anybody else.
01:07:39.000 But if you break in a house, You should get a couple years in prison and have some rehabilitation.
01:07:43.000 Second time, you should get about 20 years hard labor.
01:07:46.000 Next time, you should be in for life.
01:07:48.000 People wouldn't do it as much.
01:07:50.000 Used to, crime wasn't as pervasive.
01:07:53.000 Crime has exploded 3,000% in some type of crime over the last 25, 30 years.
01:07:58.000 And only now has it leveled off because we've built more prisons.
01:08:00.000 It's still, you know, way up high.
01:08:02.000 It hasn't gone down any.
01:08:03.000 It's just leveled.
01:08:06.000 Folks, something needs to be done about it.
01:08:09.000 Violent crime, real twisted crime, sick crime is up.
01:08:13.000 Actual murder and stuff is down 2% because we've built more prisons, but real sick crime against children and against women is way up.
01:08:20.000 That's because our society is starting to go insane.
01:08:22.000 And all I'm trying to say to you is realize, you know, it's the person who's leftwardly and who's against the death penalty.
01:08:31.000 Well, are you against the people that these murderers kill?
01:08:34.000 What about them?
01:08:35.000 They didn't get a trial.
01:08:36.000 They didn't get 15 appeals.
01:08:37.000 I think If you murder a child, murder a woman, murder a man, murder an old lady, and it's not done in passion, you know, and there's not 10 witnesses that it was done in passion, that you should be executed.
01:08:46.000 You know, I think you should have different forms of murder, you know, capital murder, manslaughter, I think those are all good listings, like we already had.
01:08:51.000 It's the statutory things.
01:08:52.000 It's the 10 appeals, 20 years on death row.
01:08:55.000 You know, everybody knows the problems in our legal system.
01:08:58.000 We need to demand this.
01:09:00.000 We need to support police.
01:09:01.000 We need to quit worshiping criminals.
01:09:03.000 I mean, that's really what the society turned into, and it scares me.
01:09:06.000 The reason I get excited about it is because something needs to be done about it.
01:09:08.000 And again, Bill Clinton's lying to you.
01:09:12.000 I'm going to just scatter some stuff that I scribbled down.
01:09:15.000 This is all off the internet and factual information.
01:09:17.000 Clinton did not pass the Clean Water Act.
01:09:20.000 Republicans did.
01:09:21.000 He signed it.
01:09:22.000 You're going to hear him touting his environmental record.
01:09:24.000 The only thing he's done is sign this Clean Water Act which Republicans passed.
01:09:27.000 He signed it.
01:09:27.000 He got all the credit.
01:09:28.000 Good job for signing it, Mr. Clinton.
01:09:30.000 Shame on the press for not reporting that the Republicans passed it.
01:09:33.000 It's a lot tougher to pass it, appropriate it, do all the work.
01:09:36.000 You know, Clinton's like that guy in high school who, you know, this is kind of an old, this is kind of an analogy.
01:09:43.000 I'll go to y'all's college in a second.
01:09:44.000 He's kind of like the guy in high school who, you know, who gets all the girls and treats them like crap and does all this and drinks and does, you know, does whatever, gets away with everything, and everybody still keeps thinking he's great.
01:10:00.000 Clinton raised taxes on Social Security.
01:10:01.000 That's a fact.
01:10:02.000 Check it out for yourself.
01:10:03.000 But a lot of Republicans get blamed for doing that when they haven't even passed anything.
01:10:06.000 It's just all a lie.
01:10:09.000 Largest tax increase in history.
01:10:10.000 Gas tax, many other things.
01:10:12.000 Tax on so-called wealthy.
01:10:14.000 Big lie.
01:10:14.000 Tax on everybody.
01:10:18.000 Clinton's lied about Republicans on their tax cuts.
01:10:21.000 Dole's tax cuts will absolutely work.
01:10:23.000 It's been proven a hundred times.
01:10:25.000 You know...
01:10:26.000 Just the media saturation of the youth.
01:10:28.000 I mean, Nickelodeon has political programs on it now.
01:10:31.000 When the average viewing audience is like eight.
01:10:33.000 I called their office in New York and asked them.
01:10:35.000 That's sick.
01:10:39.000 Listen, let's go to some calls.
01:10:41.000 Listen, I've looked at the facts.
01:10:42.000 I've looked at information.
01:10:43.000 The Democrats have had the power.
01:10:45.000 Give it to the Republicans for a while.
01:10:46.000 They're saying, check Newt Gingrich.
01:10:47.000 Don't vote for Bob Dole.
01:10:49.000 Well, the Democrats have had predominant power for the last 70 years.
01:10:53.000 Totally for the last 40. I think it's time to give the Republicans a chance.
01:10:57.000 They're not going to run screaming and kill you.
01:10:59.000 You can always vote them out.
01:11:01.000 You know, don't believe the scare tactics of the media, the panic propaganda that they send out to you.
01:11:06.000 Hello, you're on the air.
01:11:07.000 Yeah, you keep talking about how America needs immunity and stuff, and that we need to quit bickering and stuff.
01:11:16.000 Well, you know, why do you keep busting out with the fact that the Republicans are better than the Democrats?
01:11:22.000 Alright, thanks.
01:11:23.000 Good question.
01:11:26.000 Because, no, see, that's what scares the hell out of me.
01:11:29.000 You sit there and you try to explain to somebody, and I don't claim to be that smart even.
01:11:34.000 That's exactly what I'm hitting on.
01:11:36.000 They tell you, don't be a divider, don't be a this, don't be a that.
01:11:40.000 I'm not saying, Bill Clinton's mean-spirited.
01:11:42.000 Bill Clinton wants to hurt the children.
01:11:44.000 Bill Clinton's bad.
01:11:46.000 I say, Bill Clinton passed this.
01:11:48.000 Bill Clinton tried to pass this.
01:11:49.000 Bill Clinton's for this.
01:11:50.000 Bill Clinton lied about this.
01:11:52.000 The press lied about this.
01:11:53.000 La, la, la, la, la, la.
01:11:54.000 You know, and then I say, this is who's had the power for the last 70 years.
01:12:00.000 Total power for the last 40 years, whose Congress controls spending.
01:12:03.000 You know, I try to show people the facts here.
01:12:06.000 I try to say, hey, look, where Republican governors have gotten in and cut taxes, those states are the fastest growing now.
01:12:11.000 You know, I'm trying to show people the facts.
01:12:13.000 I don't get off on this fucking Clinton.
01:12:15.000 I can't stand it.
01:12:16.000 I wish that things were working fine, you know, and I could just go vote and, you know, things wouldn't be perfect.
01:12:21.000 I could talk to my neighbors.
01:12:22.000 But things are so drastic, American people have gotten so dumbed down that they think that, well, why are you saying that, Mr. Jones?
01:12:28.000 You're, you know, Alex Jones, you're sitting there saying, you know, you're for unity and, you know, you're against division and you're against all this.
01:12:35.000 Well, then why are you sitting there knocking Clinton?
01:12:36.000 Because Clinton is worse than Richard Nixon ever was.
01:12:39.000 He's an absolute monster.
01:12:41.000 Forget the character issue.
01:12:43.000 That's important, but let's get to more important things.
01:12:45.000 Like socialized healthcare.
01:12:46.000 You can say, well, we need healthcare.
01:12:48.000 Yeah, but you need a law where they can walk you in jail if you don't carry a car around with you and a huge fine.
01:12:53.000 You know, secret tribunals running the whole nation's healthcare.
01:12:57.000 Ten regions with a secret board of ten.
01:12:59.000 That's a fact.
01:12:59.000 Go get it.
01:13:00.000 You're too late to go find it out.
01:13:01.000 That's fine.
01:13:02.000 I'm not degrading Clinton's person.
01:13:04.000 I'm not sitting there talking like...
01:13:06.000 Like Ann Richards did in saying, George Bush is born with a silver foot in his mouth.
01:13:11.000 You know, just low-level kiddie humor.
01:13:18.000 Again, here's what Kay Bailey Hutchinson said and she got knocked for it.
01:13:21.000 This is all true.
01:13:22.000 Each one of these things, you can go back to the source and it's absolutely true and more.
01:13:27.000 America, it is time to wake up to President Clinton and his high-taxing, free-spending, promise-breaking, Social Security taxing, health care socializing, Drug coddling, power grabbing, business busting, lawsuit loving, UN following, FBI abusing,
01:13:42.000 IRS increasing, $200 haircutting, you know, humor there in the middle, gas taxing, over-regulating, bureaucracy testing, class baiting, privacy violating, values crushing, truth dodging, Medicare forsaking, property rights taking, job destroying.
01:13:59.000 You can say some of those didn't sound like they were targeted to facts.
01:14:01.000 Okay, Medicare forsaking.
01:14:03.000 It's going to go Bust in 2002 at current CBO, Congressional Budget Office numbers.
01:14:09.000 It's going to go bust if we don't do something about it.
01:14:13.000 And Clinton just says, Republicans want to slash and hurt it.
01:14:15.000 They wanted to cut the rate of increase by 3%.
01:14:17.000 It's increasing by 10% a year.
01:14:19.000 They want to cut down to 7%.
01:14:20.000 That's over twice the rate of inflation.
01:14:22.000 Totally moderate.
01:14:23.000 Again, if you can understand that, you know, and some of these other things, you know, values crushing, that's kind of a modely, you know, I don't say Republicans are perfect.
01:14:29.000 That's kind of, you know.
01:14:30.000 Value's crushing.
01:14:31.000 I don't know what that means.
01:14:32.000 I guess it means he's for a partial-birth abortion up to nine months.
01:14:36.000 You know, again, that's just too much for me.
01:14:38.000 That's infanticide.
01:14:39.000 Even Democrats like Dick Gephardt, who, you know, he's against it.
01:14:42.000 Top Democrats in the House.
01:14:45.000 All this stuff's true in here, folks.
01:14:48.000 Social Security taxing.
01:14:49.000 Clinton levied a tax on Social Security.
01:14:51.000 You never heard about it.
01:14:52.000 I mean, what the hell's going on?
01:14:54.000 America forgets everything that Bill Clinton's done.
01:14:56.000 I guess you never get told by the media, so you don't even notice it when your Social Security gets taxed.
01:15:00.000 Or I guess it's not that big of a deal to older people, and then they just think it's a big deal, and then they just rather hear about how nasty Republicans are and go, yeah, they're nasty, they're bad, I'm going to go with it.
01:15:11.000 All I'm saying is that you're not getting balanced news.
01:15:15.000 I don't expect there to ever be balanced news in this country, so I'm trying to give you not something to balance it, I'm giving you the true information.
01:15:22.000 And I'm not saying, 95% of what I'm saying is probably totally accurate.
01:15:26.000 Half what the news says is bull.
01:15:28.000 That's my own little, you know, It's not like I don't like Billy Bob down the street.
01:15:44.000 Clinton is worse than Richard Nixon ever was just because he gets up there and smiles at people and says, I want to help America.
01:15:49.000 You know, it's Republicans that have tried to slash Medicare, and it's Republicans that have tried to cut school lunches.
01:15:55.000 I've been trying to just keep America safe.
01:15:57.000 I've been trying to do what's right for America.
01:16:00.000 I can sit there and BSU and coddle people and lie to them and say, I think Americans are smart enough to know when they're being lied to.
01:16:07.000 I think they know this tax cut won't work.
01:16:09.000 Well, if people are lazy and don't know enough to understand that every tax cut in history has increased...
01:16:16.000 The money coming into the Treasury and the tax cuts work, you've just got to cut spending or leave it at the same.
01:16:20.000 Clinton is a monster.
01:16:22.000 Fuck you!
01:16:22.000 Alright, well thanks for the call, buddy.
01:16:24.000 Anyway, I mean, the whole crux of the thing is that people out there have...
01:16:30.000 I guess there's a lot of stupid people out there.
01:16:31.000 I mean, that's really what it amounts to.
01:16:33.000 People don't want to just line up and spend the time to find out about the facts.
01:16:39.000 This guy who just called a minute ago, he could care less.
01:16:41.000 He just didn't like the way I look.
01:16:43.000 You know, he must be into the way things look.
01:16:45.000 You know, that is lower level.
01:16:47.000 That is not intelligent.
01:16:48.000 You need to be aware of what's happening in this government.
01:16:51.000 You need to be aware that they're taking too much money out of your paycheck.
01:16:54.000 Don't you want that 50% tax cut, which will work?
01:16:57.000 We've already cut spending.
01:16:59.000 It'll work.
01:17:00.000 It's factual information.
01:17:01.000 Again, factual information, right and wrong.
01:17:04.000 You know, you cut a finger off, you bleed.
01:17:06.000 Cause and effect.
01:17:07.000 You drop a rock off a mountain, it goes down and hits the ground.
01:17:10.000 I'm talking about facts here, folks.
01:17:12.000 I'm talking about Clinton's record is horrible, but the media won't spotlight his record.
01:17:16.000 The only good thing, and the Republicans have stopped Clinton and all the stuff he tried to pass.
01:17:22.000 Don't forget all the stuff he tried to pass.
01:17:26.000 Hello, you're on the air.
01:17:28.000 Yes, it's you.
01:17:29.000 Speak into your telephone.
01:17:31.000 Hey, what's up, man?
01:17:32.000 What's going on?
01:17:33.000 A fast comment or two, because I'm...
01:17:36.000 The show's only got about 12 minutes left.
01:17:39.000 Yeah, I heard that the Republicans were going to try to cut down on the IRS or quickly go away with that.
01:17:46.000 They're going to rearrange the tax code.
01:17:49.000 The tax code has grown a bureaucracy of itself.
01:17:52.000 A lot of people spend...
01:17:54.000 $5,000 a year just paying their taxes.
01:17:56.000 I mean, just having, you know, good CPAs and people, you know, do their taxes.
01:18:00.000 And Bob Dole's saying it should be a simple flat tax that you can fill out on the back of a postcard, which is very simple.
01:18:06.000 But the tax code's gotten so complex, so these big corporations don't pay hardly any tax.
01:18:11.000 While the middle...
01:18:11.000 See, quit believing the Democrats lie that don't be for the Republicans, they're for the big corporations.
01:18:19.000 Go to the internet.
01:18:20.000 Corporations contribute equally to both sides of the fence, to both parties.
01:18:24.000 Clinton's gotten 40-something million from the corporations, so is Dole.
01:18:28.000 They hedge their bets just like a good bookie.
01:18:30.000 All I'm sitting here talking about is the simple fact of the matter is that these tax cuts will work, and they will spur growth, and the Republicans...
01:18:43.000 Having the same problem I had earlier.
01:18:45.000 Yeah.
01:18:47.000 The problem is, I'm trying to bring up actual numbers from my mind.
01:18:50.000 That's cool.
01:18:51.000 The Republicans want to give us actual factual information, and the American people just don't want it.
01:18:58.000 The American people want to run headlong and believe so proper world that Bill Clinton gives them.
01:19:02.000 And I'm just telling people this, factually and information, tax cuts will work.
01:19:06.000 They have worked in the past when Democrats gave us big tax cuts.
01:19:10.000 I like what you have to say, you know, and everything.
01:19:12.000 I figure that...
01:19:14.000 While I'm watching you on TV, I figure that you could get your point across, you know, if you directed yourself more and didn't get so wild on TV. Not as an insult or anything, but I like what you're having to say and everything, and I know you have a lot of energy on TV, but that's not what's going to get a grab-a-hold of people, you know.
01:19:32.000 I think that if you came across with a more clear and direct, because you kind of jump around.
01:19:38.000 No offense.
01:19:39.000 No offense.
01:19:40.000 Well, listen, thanks, buddy.
01:19:42.000 Anyways.
01:19:46.000 Now, that's enough on those calls.
01:19:48.000 I've gotten a couple of those, and I think it's the same guy because I won't get those calls for six weeks, and then all of a sudden I'll get like five or six of them in one show.
01:19:57.000 Listen, I thank you for your call, but this is the way I am.
01:20:00.000 My facts are true.
01:20:02.000 If you don't want to accept it, if you don't want a tax break that will work, if you don't want to cut down on governments that are dangerous, then be my guest.
01:20:07.000 March right into the totalitarian state.
01:20:08.000 So again, let me get back to that central point.
01:20:11.000 Corporations give equally to Republican and Democrats.
01:20:13.000 That's a fact that the numbers are released by the Federal Election Commission.
01:20:18.000 It's on the internet.
01:20:19.000 You get it for yourself.
01:20:19.000 If you're not lazy, go ahead and get it.
01:20:22.000 It's there for you to get.
01:20:24.000 It's a simple, bald-faced lie when they tell you that tax cuts are for the rich.
01:20:28.000 A 50% tax cut across the board will be equal for everybody.
01:20:33.000 And cutting the capital gains tax by half will be equal for everybody.
01:20:36.000 And taking people's money isn't going to help the economy.
01:20:39.000 It isn't going to do it.
01:20:41.000 71% of all the money the government takes into a lot of its programs, most of its talent programs, get spent in the bureaucracy.
01:20:50.000 All Republicans want to do is cut bureaucracy in Washington and send that money down to the state.
01:20:54.000 Things will work fantastic.
01:20:55.000 And if you want to believe the propaganda out there people are getting you, be my guest and step right on in.
01:20:59.000 How are you on the air?
01:21:01.000 Hey, Alex, how are you doing?
01:21:02.000 Pretty good.
01:21:03.000 I enjoy your show.
01:21:04.000 This is about the second time.
01:21:05.000 Well, I guess it's the third time I've seen you, but each time I see you, it's...
01:21:08.000 You got a big booger hanging out here now.
01:21:10.000 Yeah, I said, hang on.
01:21:11.000 Hello?
01:21:13.000 How's it going?
01:21:14.000 Yeah.
01:21:15.000 Hello?
01:21:15.000 Yes, you're on.
01:21:16.000 Okay, I'm not a Republican or a Democrat.
01:21:19.000 I mean, I've seen you before, like, really not less to you, but, I mean, to make a quick point, I don't know, you sound, you've got your facts together, but you're just a little too self-righteous about it.
01:21:28.000 Your beliefs are fine and they've got their virtue or whatever, but you're too hung up on believing.
01:21:33.000 You want so hard to believe that you sound almost like a sucker up there.
01:21:39.000 Robot-ing around, really not making any sense.
01:21:41.000 You're going blah, blah, blah, and propaganda, and throwing big words out.
01:21:45.000 Oh, you think I'm throwing big words out?
01:21:47.000 Yeah, yeah, obviously.
01:21:48.000 Ask me what a big word means, and I'll tell you the difference.
01:21:50.000 Go ahead.
01:21:51.000 Ask you what a big word means.
01:21:52.000 When you talk about your education not being so large, that makes me doubt that you were ever educated at all.
01:21:57.000 I doubt whether you have an affinity toward politics at all.
01:22:00.000 at all you just like to get out there on your little pedestal soapbox and talk shit and try to make it sound like the world's all okay if you could just get control of it you could just take over be a Republican do what the Republicans want to do cut taxes duh duh duh duh.
01:22:15.000 Hey you're a fucking moron dude I mean how does a putt like you get on TV?
01:22:19.000 You can keep attacking you but if you cuss again I'll hang up on you.
01:22:23.000 Okay I just I don't understand how you get so self right that what you say is going to You've got this future where if everybody were to listen to Republicans, That it would just be this hunky-dory stew and everything would be okay.
01:22:34.000 It's never going to come down.
01:22:35.000 It's not going to come down to liberals.
01:22:37.000 It's not going to come down to Democrats.
01:22:38.000 It's not going to come down to Republicans.
01:22:40.000 Each side is going to have its drawbacks and its anemites.
01:22:42.000 And I don't understand how you think the Republicans have the answer to the world.
01:22:46.000 Okay, you say it's going to come down to people, right?
01:22:48.000 Yeah, I mean, not one technical person or one...
01:22:54.000 Absolutely.
01:22:56.000 All I'm saying is...
01:22:57.000 I mean, thanks for the call.
01:22:58.000 All I'm saying is...
01:23:00.000 Is take the shackles off the American people.
01:23:03.000 Look, man, I mean, you know, what the hell?
01:23:06.000 You know, it's kind of like when Richard Allen Davis killed Polly Closs and all these other people he raped and stuff.
01:23:11.000 It was hardly in the news until he flipped off the camera crew and the jury.
01:23:16.000 And they were like, how would he put them off?
01:23:17.000 People are more concerned about how you talk or your attitude or what you say than what the actual facts are.
01:23:25.000 I agree with you, man.
01:23:27.000 I want to cut taxes so you'll have more of your money.
01:23:30.000 To go out and buy whatever you want.
01:23:33.000 Go get whatever you want.
01:23:34.000 I mean, you try coming in here and getting motivated for an hour and a half.
01:23:36.000 Now, I don't want to get on that anymore.
01:23:38.000 I'll just hang up with anybody who wants to sit there.
01:23:40.000 I mean, I want to hear some facts.
01:23:41.000 Instead of somebody sputtering, you just want to get up in your soapbox and hate Republicans.
01:23:45.000 Or, I mean, hate Democrats.
01:23:49.000 I'm successful in what I've done.
01:23:51.000 I've made quite a bit of money on my own.
01:23:53.000 I don't brag about it.
01:23:54.000 I don't talk about it.
01:23:55.000 You know, I could easily.
01:23:56.000 The people out there...
01:23:57.000 I appreciate you watching my show.
01:23:59.000 I'll be on next week at 10. I've got about five minutes left.
01:24:04.000 Again, for those of you out there, I understand fully where a lot of people come from.
01:24:08.000 They say, you know, just be moderate.
01:24:10.000 Just relax.
01:24:11.000 I'm not a Democrat.
01:24:12.000 I'm not a Republican.
01:24:13.000 In some way, that's supposed to be virtuous.
01:24:15.000 I'm a registered Republican, but I'm not a Republican.
01:24:19.000 I'm a human being who lives here in Austin, Texas.
01:24:22.000 I live right here in Austin, Texas, on the planet Earth.
01:24:27.000 Two-thirds of the way out of the spiral arm of the Milky Way galaxy.
01:24:30.000 Okay?
01:24:31.000 That's who I am.
01:24:33.000 I'm not, you know, and people can call up and say, you're not educated.
01:24:35.000 You're not this.
01:24:36.000 You're not that.
01:24:37.000 You know, whatever.
01:24:38.000 Whatever kind of bully you want to spout, go ahead.
01:24:40.000 Get to the facts.
01:24:41.000 Refuse from my information.
01:24:42.000 Tell me that if we cut taxes, the revenue won't swell, and that more money won't go into the federal government, and that everybody will be better off.
01:24:49.000 Tell me that free market isn't the way to go.
01:24:53.000 And for people out there that are watching, that see...
01:24:55.000 How scary it is.
01:24:56.000 How some people are just concerned how you look, how you talk.
01:24:59.000 And I understand that's a lot of, you know, delivery when you're telling somebody something.
01:25:04.000 But all I want to get out there to people is, is that all through history, government has been the source of ills.
01:25:11.000 And somebody just probably said, religion, man, religion's been the source of problems.
01:25:14.000 Well, religion was just another form of government.
01:25:17.000 You know, look at Iran or someplace like that.
01:25:20.000 Religion is the government.
01:25:21.000 It's totalitarian.
01:25:22.000 It's oppressive.
01:25:23.000 Anything that gets total control, monolithic power structures, of course you're going to have problems.
01:25:28.000 Of course it's going to be crooked.
01:25:29.000 Of course there's going to be...
01:25:30.000 I mean, you know, the Catholic Church caused the Dark Ages, many say, because if you were trying to be a scientist, they'd call you an alchemist or a witch, and they'd take you out and burn you at the stake or boil you in oil.
01:25:40.000 That was because they didn't want anybody learning, they didn't want anybody teaching, and that happens in every totalitarian state.
01:25:45.000 Look down in Mexico where the PRI runs everything.
01:25:48.000 I wish that was a free state.
01:25:49.000 I love those people.
01:25:50.000 I mean, they're such good people.
01:25:52.000 But they've got a crooked state running things.
01:25:55.000 They've got high taxes.
01:25:56.000 People are, I mean, people are hardly making anything there.
01:26:01.000 You know, the average wage is like $2 an hour.
01:26:05.000 But more billionaires were created in Mexico in the last 10 years than anywhere else in the world.
01:26:10.000 There's a filthy rich elite there.
01:26:11.000 There's this little bitty elite and this giant poor class down there.
01:26:15.000 And all through history, look at the pattern.
01:26:18.000 To control people, you've got to have a bad educational system.
01:26:21.000 What did the Catholic Church try to do?
01:26:23.000 Only monks were allowed to write.
01:26:25.000 Only monks were allowed to control things.
01:26:27.000 I'm not saying the Catholic Church is bad now because things have changed.
01:26:30.000 What I'm saying is, you could say, religions cause problems, governments cause problems, business causes problems.
01:26:37.000 Anything that gets more and more power wants to keep out outsiders.
01:26:40.000 As a tree gets bigger, the grass dies under it.
01:26:43.000 It's harder for new trees to come up.
01:26:44.000 That's just a natural flow of things.
01:26:46.000 And that's why...
01:26:47.000 That's why the American system is so good.
01:26:49.000 And I understand people have been raised and bred out there that America's horrible in this horrible black hole vortex of terribleness.
01:26:58.000 I would challenge you to go down to Barnes& Noble and just get a history of the world and study it.
01:27:04.000 You know, there's about ten different brands of it.
01:27:07.000 And you study the major events of the world, and it's not perfect history.
01:27:10.000 But just learn how things flow and how things move, and it'll give you a good road back to the future.
01:27:14.000 Read Alvin and Heidi Toffler's Future Shock, written way back in the 60s, and everything they've written has come true and more.
01:27:20.000 It talks about the third wave that we're in right now.
01:27:23.000 And the fourth wave that's coming, biotech, and a fusion with the information age.
01:27:27.000 Genetic engineering on an incredible scale.
01:27:31.000 I appreciate y'all's calls.
01:27:32.000 I appreciate y'all's input.
01:27:34.000 I'd like the people that called that I didn't get through to call back next week at 10 o'clock on Thursday.
01:27:41.000 Tune in, and I'll have some information.
01:27:43.000 Some more information for you.
01:27:46.000 Democracy is the key.
01:27:50.000 Read about totalitarian states and learn how they always want to have state-run education, totally.
01:27:55.000 Again, look back at the Dark Ages.
01:27:58.000 What created the Renaissance?
01:28:00.000 The printing press.
01:28:01.000 No longer did just the monks control education.
01:28:03.000 So you used to.
01:28:04.000 You tried to be an alchemist, a scientist, you were killed.
01:28:08.000 If a woman tried to get into medicine, she was killed as a witch.
01:28:10.000 Anybody who tried to get into any information or learn anything was automatically killed.
01:28:14.000 Famous people all the way back to Columbus were threatened to have their heads cut off if, you know, the percent of the world was round.
01:28:22.000 Information threatens people.
01:28:23.000 Information is good.
01:28:24.000 I never claimed that all my information is right or pertinent or even fluently presented.
01:28:30.000 And I appreciate people calling me.
01:28:35.000 I appreciate people getting involved and just understand.
01:28:38.000 Look how there's a move to control information.
01:28:40.000 There's always been.
01:28:41.000 And it ought to scare people that you've got to move to indoctrinate the children of America.
01:28:45.000 It's not just in public schools now.
01:28:47.000 It's on Nickelodeon and everywhere else.
01:28:48.000 If you laugh and think that's funny, that's fine.
01:28:50.000 They've got political shows on there now where they brainwash kids about how guns are terrible and little kids stand up and say, we need to ban manufacture of guns.
01:28:59.000 A little kid doesn't say, we need to ban manufacture of guns.
01:29:02.000 That was put in their head.
01:29:04.000 A little seven or eight-year-old kid doesn't say stuff like that.
01:29:07.000 You know, that's just coming out of this big state.
01:29:09.000 Look, I appreciate y'all's call, and call or write to me right there, and I'll talk to you guys next week.
01:29:18.000 The Democratic Party is the elite party.
01:29:20.000 The Republicans aren't much better, but they're not the elite that's been firmly ensconced in this country.
01:29:25.000 The Democratic Party is the older of the two parties.
01:29:27.000 The Republican Party is the party of Lincoln, the party of suffrage for women, and the party of Teddy Roosevelt, which was the first environmentalist president who's done more than any other president for the environment.
01:29:35.000 Hundreds of...
01:29:37.000 Millions of acres put to forestry and stuff to be laid up for America's use.
01:29:42.000 God bless you.
01:29:43.000 People stay out of trouble.
01:29:44.000 I appreciate the call.
01:29:46.000 And just keep the faith, whatever your faith may be, and don't be afraid of information.
01:29:53.000 See ya.
01:29:56.000 Hello?
01:29:57.000 Alex.
01:29:58.000 Yeah.
01:29:58.000 Hey, this is Rob.
01:29:59.000 Hey, Rob.
01:30:00.000 Hey, man.
01:30:01.000 I was just holding on to get on and you weren't going to take no more.
01:30:05.000 How'd my show go?
01:30:06.000 I liked it.
01:30:07.000 That's why I was going to call in right after that ignorant one called in.
01:30:11.000 I was going to call in and tell them, you know, tell you that whether education or not, at least you're on the show, man.
01:30:18.000 You know?
01:30:19.000 That's right.
01:30:19.000 Well, hey, listen, I'm fixing to run out of here, buddy.
01:30:21.000 Would you give me a call at home sometime or something?
01:30:22.000 Yeah.
01:30:23.000 I've just been real busy at work lately.
01:30:25.000 Okay.
01:30:26.000 Check your voicemail.
01:30:27.000 All right, Rob.
01:30:28.000 And I'll talk to you tomorrow.
01:30:29.000 Yeah.
01:30:31.000 Leave your number one more time on there.
01:30:33.000 Okay.
01:30:34.000 See you, buddy.
01:30:34.000 Alright, bye.
01:30:36.000 Hello?
01:30:37.000 Hello?
01:30:39.000 You're talking to me.
01:30:42.000 Hello?
01:30:43.000 Pick up your telephone.
01:30:46.000 Pick up your telephone.
01:30:52.000 Hello?
01:30:53.000 Hello?
01:30:54.000 Yeah?
01:30:55.000 I was just watching your show.
01:30:58.000 Well, thank you.
01:30:59.000 You're a real space cadet, you know?
01:31:01.000 I bet you I'm a spooky dick down in the barrel and all.
01:31:05.000 I know what you're saying down there.
01:31:07.000 You on down there.
01:31:07.000 Oh, I know what you're saying.
01:31:08.000 Oh, yeah.
01:31:09.000 Oh, yeah.
01:31:09.000 You look.
01:31:10.000 Well.
01:31:11.000 Hello?
01:31:13.000 No?
01:31:15.000 Hello?
01:31:17.000 It's the Silent Type.
01:31:19.000 Are you projecting your energy at me?
