00:00:00.000 This winter, brothers and sisters, help to feed those who are in poor conditions and who don't even have a clothing to keep themselves warm.
00:00:23.020 Your small donation might mean nothing to you, but it can change their life and help them survive the winter this year.
00:00:27.660 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, brothers and sisters and dear friends.
00:00:30.580 DJ Khalid has gone and done Umrah, yes? And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to accept it from him.
00:00:35.660 The videos that you can see on my left side or my right side is him performing that.
00:00:39.240 I even saw one where he is actually crying, he's like in tears, he's in front of the Kaaba.
00:00:44.380 And when it comes to this stuff, usually we look at the intentions, the actions, and also what is the criteria that we use that a Umrah, a Hajj or the fasting Ramadan that we do has been accepted.
00:00:53.520 Many scholars say a good sign is that after you do this, that you stop doing the sins that you did previously.
00:00:59.920 Now, this can be generic, etc. or specific from individual to individual.
00:01:04.500 Because at the end of the day, yes, DJ Khalid went there, he did perform Umrah, but if I'm not mistaken, before or after he went back to doing a concert, doing a music in Riyadh actually, sadly.
00:01:13.620 The point is this.
00:01:14.620 Number one, we do not question a person's intentions.
00:01:17.280 Okay, for the action to be accepted, intentions have to be there, and the action has to be according to the sunnah.
00:01:22.960 If the intention is not there, but the action is there, doing the action of Umrah, but his intentions for other reasons, argument's sake, it's not accepted.
00:01:29.980 If his intentions are there and his actions, which is, he does something which the Qur'an or the sunnah doesn't tell him, argument's sake, he goes around the Kaaba in the opposite direction, of course that's not going to be accepted.
00:01:39.280 So we assume that we know the actions were correct, and we assume that his intentions were in the right place, and the fact that he looked emotional, subhanAllah, that we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to accept it from him.
00:01:49.180 And the reward of Umrah is what the Prophet ï·º said, that from Umrah to Umrah, all the sins in between that is expiated.
00:01:54.820 Obviously the scholars, they found this, is it major, minor, you know, mostly if I'm mistaken, the correct opinion is that it's minor sins, major sins you have to repent specifically for, yes?
00:02:04.840 And the Prophet ï·º even talked about, you know, Jannah.
00:02:07.140 So the rewards are immense.
00:02:09.460 We have these rewards from Umrah to Umrah, all the sisters, subhanAllah, it is immense.
00:02:14.320 And if he knew the rewards of the Umrah, he would be dancing.
00:02:19.280 I don't know if he's dancing like this, yeah, he's doing some dance with the sword, mad thing, yeah?
00:02:22.620 But wallahi, I hope he's dancing like this, because he understands the rewards of Umrah, yeah?
00:02:28.600 He understands rewards, I think that's the reason why I'm going to give him good assumptions.
00:02:30.940 I'm thinking he's dancing like this, not for the Saudi government, he's doing this for the Umrah that he performed, subhanAllah.
00:02:35.380 And may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala keep us guided, inshaAllah, and protected.
00:02:40.040 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
