00:00:44.000 Of people being slandered

00:00:46.000 Specifically sisters, falsely

00:00:48.000 And this very documentary I had to travel to France

00:00:50.000 To document a 14 year old girl

00:00:52.000 Literally committing suicide

00:00:54.000 Because of false allegations and false videos circling about her

00:00:58.000 I'm bringing this back to light

00:01:00.000 Insha'Allah because it's very important

00:01:02.000 Not only do sisters get slandered, brothers also

00:01:04.000 But sisters suffer greater consequences 0.99

00:01:06.000 Sadly, and this is against Islam

00:05:11.940 Surah Al-Fatihah

00:05:13.940 Surah Al-Fatihah

00:05:15.940 said that he's kind of flopped so he's not going to be coming so right now we're in a bit of a

00:05:21.440 dilemma because the people here they don't speak English and they just speak just French so we

00:05:27.020 need to find the translator otherwise we can't we just can't do anything can't do nothing here

00:05:30.980 so what we're going to do is we're in contact with a couple of people just waiting for them

00:05:34.200 to give us updates what's going to happen and inshallah we're trying to get a translator

00:05:40.320 inshallah and yeah we're in a bit of a desperate situation to be honest but inshallah let's see

00:05:44.700 what Allah has got planned for us and we're going to hit stains right now and see what happens inshallah

00:06:14.700 personally can you can you can you ask him what what does he know about what's happened

00:06:24.200 what I heard is that they published a photo or video of the girl and it was photoshopped

00:06:32.420 and it made her look in an appropriate situation and then people start talking and start bullying

00:06:38.960 her in social networks in her neighborhood and the streets and then the girl she got really annoyed

00:06:46.200 and she was so desperate to the point that she committed suicide I heard about the story from

00:06:52.700 people from echoes of what happened to her but I don't know the reality of it what I heard is she had a sexual

00:07:02.960 relationship with a full relationship with her boyfriend and then he published a video of that on facebook

00:07:08.740 and then he just let it go he didn't pay attention to what he did it seems that she got pregnant and her brother was trying to hit her and he was trying to catch her

00:07:24.960 catch her so she got afraid of her brother she got scared of what he's gonna do to her so she fled to her grandmother's house and when he came over she was scared of what's gonna happen to her and she just killed herself she could be

00:07:31.960 We heard the story saying that she had a sexual relationship with her boyfriend and then a video of that was published online and it ended up in the hands of her family so she was so desperate and she

00:07:38.960 She was scared of what was going to happen to her and she just killed herself.

00:07:43.620 I heard the story saying that she had a sexual relationship with her boyfriend and then a video of that was published online and it ended up in the hands of her family so she was so desperate and she took the decision to end her life.

00:08:04.480 Well, what I heard is that she didn't want to kill herself, she just wanted to hurt herself and not kill herself.

00:08:13.480 Does he know that the video wasn't off her? It wasn't her. Does he know?

00:08:20.480 In the end, they discovered that the video wasn't her in the video. The girl wasn't her in the video. It was her other daughter.

00:08:30.480 Really? We don't know. Well, some people say it was her, some people say it was not her, but I personally saw some photos on Facebook and I'm sure it was her.

00:08:46.480 But we found out that it's not her. So do they know that?

00:08:51.480 Really? I have no idea that it was not her. Me personally, I didn't see the video so I cannot tell you if it was her in the video or not.

00:09:00.480 I heard it from friends and from people here in the neighborhood as I told you earlier. I personally think it doesn't matter if it was her or not her in the video.

00:09:13.480 Do you know that basically that video was a slander? Like it wasn't her on the video?

00:09:20.480 No, it's for sure. No, it's for sure. It was her in the video.

00:09:25.480 Okay, but how is he, how is, can you ask him how is he so sure that it was her?

00:09:29.480 The videos, I saw the photos on the Facebook account of this guy, of her boyfriend.

00:09:35.480 Okay, okay. Okay, let's, let's, let's tell him that what we have been told by the police and journalists that the video is not of her.

00:09:43.480 Who does he think is responsible for her death?

00:09:47.480 I think that the person who published the video on the forum in the first place is the one to blame, first of all.

00:09:55.480 All the people that spoke about her, all the people that bullied her, they are partners in this, on this crime. You know what?

00:10:05.480 Because what they did is slander. They totally ignored what our Prophet Muhammad, peace be open on him, had recommended us.

00:10:14.480 I will blame the people who put the video on internet. Yes.

00:10:19.480 And true or false, we don't have to interfere people, business, people life. Yes.

00:10:26.480 You understand? Exactly. So I disagree with that. Yes.

00:10:29.480 In my opinion, I think the people who criticized her, the people who bullied her on Facebook, on Twitter, people who just judged her and said she's a bad person, she's a bad girl. 0.56

00:10:42.480 Even her closest friends who were supposed to support her and stand by her side. And of course, the person who published the video on internet. We blame social networks. We blame social networks.

00:10:56.480 I think it's everyone's fault. It's the people online, the person who published the video, and her family as well, who put a pressure on her in a way that she felt scared to speak to them, and she ended up by killing herself.

00:11:11.480 Anyone in our age will feel scared in her situation. No one can judge her.

00:11:21.480 What would you say the community should have done instead of bullying?

00:11:26.480 Yeah, they should have stayed quiet about it, and have respect for her and the family. And for them too. Because it's a sin.

00:11:33.480 Because they're not, like nobody knows 100% what happened.

00:11:38.480 No.

00:11:39.480 Yeah.

00:11:40.480 I mean, no.

00:11:41.480 Yeah.

00:11:42.480 As far as I know, nobody knows 100%.

00:11:44.480 Exactly.

00:11:45.480 So it's, like what would you, what advice would you give to the, if there's people watching out there, you know, if they have this kind of mentality where they don't, they hear something and they start...

00:11:56.480 Shut your mouth.

00:11:58.480 Yeah. 0.98

00:11:59.480 Yeah.

00:12:00.480 Yeah.

00:12:13.480 Yeah

00:12:14.260 Yeah.

00:12:15.640 Yeah.

00:12:18.160 Yeah.

00:12:19.540 Yeah.

00:12:22.300 Yeah.

00:12:24.260 So

00:12:26.900 Three weeks ago, a 14-year-old Muslim girl called Aisha was accused of a lie and a slander. 0.68

00:12:45.080 A video went viral, and this slander was made against her, that she committed zina,

00:12:51.380 and the person in the video was her, and the community and the people in the social media turned against her

00:12:59.620 and pushed her so far that she had no choice but to commit suicide as a way out.

00:13:08.180 Now, brothers and sisters, I want to talk to you guys about another Aisha, and this Aisha is very dear to us.

00:13:14.420 It's the mother of the believers, Aisha radiallahu an. 0.96

00:13:16.460 Aisha radiallahu an, our mother, was slandered against when she was traveling with the Prophet Muhammad,

00:13:23.060 peace be upon him, on a journey in a desert.

00:13:26.560 Unfortunately, Aisha radiallahu an got separated by the caravan, and she was lost.

00:13:32.080 And Qadr of Allah, a Sahaba by the name of Sufwan ibn Muattal, was going past, 0.62

00:13:39.720 and he saw Aisha radiallahu an.

00:13:42.460 He did not speak anything except to bring his camel, kneel the camel down,

00:13:47.580 so Aisha radiallahu an can jump on the camel, and so he can catch up with the caravan. 0.65

00:13:52.500 When they arrived at their destination, the leader of the hypocrites, Abdullah ibn Ubayy, 0.99

00:13:58.740 saw this, started a slander, a lie against the mother of the believers.

00:14:03.000 These rumors and these slanders went on for a whole month, and when Aisha radiallahu an heard this,

00:14:10.200 she was so distressed, she said that she would cry, every night she would cry,

00:14:17.400 and she was in distress, and she didn't know what to do,

00:14:20.000 just as a situation where many of the sisters would be with their slander.

00:14:23.860 In the following verses, Allah SWT talks directly to those people who slandered against Aisha radiallahu an,

00:14:29.980 and said, those amongst you, why did they not make an excuse?

00:14:34.420 Why did they say, you know what, no, maybe it wasn't her.

00:14:38.600 Any kind of excuse made possible to clear her name.

00:14:41.720 And when Allah SWT sent these verses down,

00:14:43.860 he directly was conveying that message to the people who started the slander and accusations.

00:14:48.780 And Allah says in the Qur'an,

00:14:50.420 O believing men and women, why did you not make good excuses for Aisha? 1.00

00:14:55.700 And not only Aisha, for anybody that gets slandered. 0.66

00:14:58.440 Why did you not think good?

00:15:00.060 Even if the video is out, or whatever it is,

00:15:02.480 why did you not say, you know what, it's not her.

00:15:05.120 It can't be her.

00:15:06.520 She wouldn't do that.

00:15:07.860 Why did you not make good excuses for her?

00:15:10.280 And Allah SWT says in the following verses,

00:15:12.120 why did they not bring full witnesses, indeed, if they are truthful?

00:15:16.040 And not only that, and Allah SWT says, 0.50

00:15:18.860 indeed, you did not bring these witnesses. 1.00

00:15:20.680 You are a liar. 1.00

00:15:21.980 In my eyes, you are a liar. 1.00

00:15:23.940 So this is what Allah SWT is harshly addressing those people who do the slander 0.99

00:15:27.660 and make every excuse to blame the individual.

00:15:31.320 And following the verses, Allah SWT says, 0.77

00:15:33.460 had it not been my grace and my mercy in this life and the hereafter,

00:15:39.320 indeed, a severe punishment would have fall upon you.

00:15:42.300 While you was talking and slandering,

00:15:45.800 saying things that you have no knowledge of,

00:15:48.380 like it's something small.

00:15:50.340 Indeed, Allah says, for me, what you did was grave.

00:15:53.880 It was big in my sight.

00:15:55.980 Why did you not say, when you heard,

00:15:59.220 indeed, it is not for me to talk about.

00:16:01.520 It's got nothing to do with me and move away.

00:16:04.940 Allah SWT says in the final verses,

00:16:06.440 I warn you that indeed, if you're true believers,

00:16:09.540 do not repeat the same thing again.

00:16:11.000 Thank you.

00:16:12.000 Thank you.
