So we are going to come here today and you just wanted to come and ask a question.
00:00:26.000
And obviously you guys know, we do an invitation that's for non-Muslims and we have preservation.
00:00:31.000
So preservation is for our Muslim youngsters, our youth, who have adults or something that
00:00:38.000
I didn't really think the question threw properly in it but it was something along the lines
00:00:44.000
Basically, say if God makes you, how is it your fault that you're like...
00:00:51.000
Say for example if you do something bad, God's made you, so how is it your fault that you
00:00:56.000
Because I didn't ask God to make me in a certain way to make me do a bad thing.
00:01:00.000
Because I don't understand how it works, the free will concept like...
00:01:05.000
Like, if God made us, then he's made us maybe do something...
00:01:12.000
So basically, if God made us, then he knows we're going to do the evil, wherever evil
00:01:24.000
Yeah, so before he made us, he knew that we were going to do this before making us, right?
00:01:32.000
Why didn't he make me in a different way where I'm not going to make that mistake?
00:01:38.000
I've heard this argument and I don't understand it as well.
00:01:43.000
Look, let me answer you in a different way, okay?
00:01:44.000
Now, in Islam, there's a lot of logical answers to a lot of stuff, yeah?
00:01:52.000
Islam is not a religion which says to you, close your eyes and believe.
00:02:03.000
There's a rational argument for Allah's existence.
00:02:08.000
There's a lot of arguments for the Qur'an for being from Allah.
00:02:11.000
I know the Qur'an is a final messenger, there's evidence towards it.
00:02:14.000
Now, there's going to be things that you and I cannot understand.
00:02:19.000
Now, just because we cannot grasp it, does not mean there is no wisdom behind it.
00:02:24.000
So, for example, we may agree that right now, a tree fell in the Amazon.
00:02:36.000
Just because we don't grasp it, doesn't mean there's no wisdom behind it.
00:02:44.000
At that moment in time, you reflex and go bang.
00:02:56.000
You don't understand that they were running to the fire, you actually saved their life.
00:03:00.000
But because of their limited understanding, they're seeing Daddy as evil.
00:03:05.000
Now, when it comes to the matter of Qadr, nobody can give an answer.
00:03:10.000
There is no answer analogy that I can give to this, yeah?
00:03:27.000
Because if Allah knows that I'm going to end up in the fire.
00:03:35.000
So, therefore, being unjust goes against Allah's nature.
00:04:15.000
But what he's telling you to do, does it make sense?
00:04:32.000
Bill Gates is telling you to do something that does not make sense to you.
00:04:35.000
But the reason you're doing it is because of who he is.
00:04:42.000
Allah is telling you to do a lot of things that make a lot of sense.
00:04:45.000
If it's a matter of qadr, it doesn't make sense to you.
00:04:48.000
Because Allah knows, but I also have to be with you.
00:04:50.000
Yeah, and some things we don't understand, I know.
00:04:52.000
But I was asking you for this like a logical explanation.
00:04:54.000
But Allah says in the Quran that what will I get, I'll punish you again.
00:05:02.000
Every single chapter in the Quran except one says Allah, the most merciful, the very merciful.
00:05:07.000
So with this matter, what you need to do is the following, yeah?
00:05:12.000
I don't know where you're going to go, I don't know where I'm going to go.
00:05:17.000
Either I'm going to say one, this, I'm not doing nothing, I'm not praying, I'm probably
00:05:29.000
So there will be one person who will say, I don't know where I'm going, therefore I'm
00:05:31.000
not going to do any righteous deeds, it doesn't matter, God knows where I'm going.
00:05:39.000
Another person will say, I don't know where I'm going, but I know God has created this
00:05:47.000
So like how Aisha said to the Prophet, you know you're going heaven.
00:05:55.000
His wife, Aisha said to the Prophet, you're going to go heaven.
00:06:01.000
But the Prophet said, shall I not be grateful to my Lord, yeah?
00:06:04.000
So a person with that mentality, you believe somebody who's going to strive, pray, do you
00:06:09.000
all of that and Allah is going to put you in hell?
00:06:14.000
He told us that on the day of judgment, a man will come and he will tell Allah,
00:06:19.000
Oh Allah, I want to go Jannah with my good deeds.
00:06:28.000
So God may have made some of us like mentally a bit like off, yeah?
00:06:32.000
So say for example, like some people who follow the extremes of Islam.
00:06:40.000
No, but even if it wasn't, but they're just misinformed and they believe it.
00:06:46.000
Because Allah makes it clear in the Quran and the Sunnah.
00:06:51.000
So when he says no, they kill our brothers and sisters.
00:07:26.000
He was so righteous that he was, he came to the level of the angels.
00:07:31.000
So, and so it shows you that he was a very righteous, righteous person.
00:07:42.000
His action of not bowing down did not cause him to be down to hell.
00:07:49.000
Allah said to him, oh Iblis, why did you not bow?
00:07:53.000
In that moment of time, he could have said, oh Allah, repent.
00:08:05.000
He's saying, oh Allah, you are wrong because I am better than him and you're making me do something that I believe is wrong.
00:08:26.000
He could have said the same bunch of arguments.
00:08:40.000
Oh Allah, you knew I was going to eat from the tree.
00:08:56.000
So now the hadith that I was telling you about of the man who came on the day of judgment.
00:09:07.000
And on the day of judgment, he said to Allah, oh Allah put me to Jannah based on my good deeds.
00:09:12.000
Allah said, I want to put you based on my mercy.
00:09:15.000
He said, no Allah, I've done a lot of good deeds.
00:09:30.000
It shows that that man at that moment was destined to hell.
00:09:39.000
So the matter of Qadr is that you have a free will.
00:09:56.000
Say if I'm a creator like a machine or something.
00:09:58.000
I create it with like a certain function to, like I know what it's going to do.
00:10:13.000
And Allah made that creation and we make a knife.
00:10:20.000
Because Allah caused enemies to make the knife.
00:10:24.000
With this issue, it comes to a matter of tawakta.
00:10:29.000
You have to say, Allah says, I am to my servant how he thinks of.
00:10:35.000
Because there's a lot of people that might have the same doubt.
00:10:41.000
It seems like a contradiction because our minds can't grasp that.
00:11:07.000
He's going to go back to his tribe and say, I went to the UK and I saw a stone.
00:11:15.000
So his tribe is going to say, okay, if the stone is talking, it must have a tongue.
00:11:24.000
If it has a body, it should have a immune system.
00:11:27.000
So what they do is, because of their limited mind, they're ascribing things to something
00:11:33.000
The matter of tawakkul, the matter of tawakkul is that you have trust in Allah.
00:11:40.000
Allah says, I am to my servant how he thinks of me.
00:11:50.000
Inna al-mushlimin wa al-muslimat wa al-mu'minina wa al-mu'minat wa al-al-muhinat wa al-qaritin wa al-qaritin wa al-al-qaritin wa al-al-qaritin wa al-kharitin wa al-
00:11:55.580
The ones who believe, the ones who do righteousness, the ones who are false, et cetera.
00:11:59.000
So in a nutshell, aki, you know Allah is not unjust.
00:12:01.000
Do your actions, and you're going to see the fruits.
00:12:05.160
It's not, oh, Allah is destined, I'm going to go.
00:12:07.080
I was just thinking, like, if there's a way to, like,
00:12:17.260
I think Dr. Zakin actually said Bill Gates exactly as all that guy.
00:12:26.200
like, if Bill Gates gave you £100 or something,
00:12:30.780
you thank the money, not the one who gives it to you.
00:12:34.580
I don't know, I can't remember if I had any of it,
