Summary
Jummah Kutbahaykum: Those we have buried are not actually dead. They have entered the barzakh, a parallel existence where there are people right now that are just as alive as you. Some are watching green birds that were once in bodies of martyrs soar above them, others are drowning in rivers of blood, some are dwelling in beautiful homes among family members that have been dead for decades, and others are busy being devoured by beasts with many heads.

it starts with the basic truth those we have buried are not actually dead
00:00:05.160
they've entered the barzakh a parallel existence where there are people right
00:00:10.200
now that are just as alive as you I was doing that once in speaker's corner and
00:00:15.280
one girl came to me she said I left Islam I was curious I said like what's the
00:00:21.560
reason and she specifically mentioned Gaza this was a couple of years ago it's
00:00:25.680
not even what's going on now so she was like I left Islam and I was like okay
00:00:30.860
so it really amazed me like a thought came to my mind I was like wow and I
00:00:35.040
expressed it to her I said I said sister don't you think it's amazing that you
00:00:38.680
just imagine the people back in the day when they would have to travel certain
00:00:45.000
distances for months or even years what is one thing that they would carry with
00:00:48.840
them the Quran why because they did not have it on their mobile devices or their
00:00:53.640
gadgets brothers and sisters imagine you have a app the Qurany app which not
00:00:58.620
only shows you how much rewards you get but reminds you to read the Quran gives
00:01:03.880
you reminders download the Qurany app now and let it testify for you on your
00:01:07.880
time of the Quran that you read it wherever you was
00:01:10.680
Asalaamu Alaikum wa rahmatu wa barakatu brothers and sisters and dear friends
00:01:13.860
call it you guys inshaAllah Asalaamu Alaikum Ustah Al-Mahayyam
00:01:17.380
Alhamdulillah good Alhamdulillah so I came inshaAllah to see Ustah Al-Omar in a specific location
00:01:22.360
we're not going into detail of course it's classified but Alhamdulillah I got a chance to sit with
00:01:26.380
him speak with him got to know him better Alhamdulillah and yeah Alhamdulillah got nothing but good to say
00:01:31.700
And Alhamdulillah, Yaqeen Institute has really helped me in my da'wah as well when it comes to prophecies
00:01:36.420
I believe it's prophecies be a great role, like me when it comes to convincing people of Islam
00:01:40.000
So yeah, may Allah bless and preserve you, inshaAllah
00:01:42.300
So you've got this series that is coming out, it's called The Other Side
00:01:48.900
So we're going to watch it, we're going to react to it because there's a lot of lessons to be learned from it
00:01:53.820
Because I found it really powerful, so are you ready to watch yourself?
00:02:10.280
Am I viewed amongst the righteous or the wicked?
00:02:17.220
There's this world you're in and another world that simultaneously exists that you can't see
00:02:23.380
Allah, the angels and other elements of the unseen are watching you
00:02:39.520
A parallel existence where there are people right now that are just as alive as you
00:02:44.580
Some of them are watching green birds that were once in bodies of martyrs soar above them
00:02:52.600
Some are dwelling in beautiful homes among family members that have been dead for decades
00:02:58.020
Others are busy being devoured by beasts with many heads
00:03:03.700
And what do we know about the people who reside in it?
00:03:06.680
And what would knowing about that world do for us today to make sense of the world we live in right now?
00:03:12.740
And what does it mean for us in our own individual journeys?
00:03:46.260
So, Subhanallah, that was very powerful from the production to, you know, explanation.
00:04:11.360
What comes to my mind is, you know, when we're looking at Gaza, I spoke to you about this yesterday as well.
00:04:19.300
I was doing that once in the speaker's corner, and one girl came to me, and she said, I left Islam.
00:04:26.080
I was curious, I said, like, what's the reason?
00:04:34.320
So, she was like, I left Islam, and I was like, okay.
00:04:38.040
So, it really amazed me, like, a thought came to my mind, and I was like, wow.
00:04:42.200
I said, I said, sister, don't you think it's amazing that you are living in the West?
00:04:48.760
You don't have to worry about, you know, your life being in danger, bonds dropping, et cetera.
00:04:53.620
And yet, you have doubted Islam because of what you see.
00:04:59.500
However, I said, the very people that you're looking at, their suffering, has led you to live Islam,
00:05:09.560
They're the ones, if there's anyone that we can say, could, Ghani, should be saying what you're saying to them,
00:05:20.460
Because a lot of people are, like, we, it's in our dawah table.
00:05:27.520
It's like, like, how does this woman come and pick up the body parts of his daughter, son,
00:05:31.660
and say, yeah, this is Adam's leg, and says, alhamdulillah, like, I look at that as a Muslim.
00:05:37.500
I look at that as a Muslim and go, can I say those words if that was my kids?
00:05:50.280
And please tell us this series, what's inspiring you to talk about the outside?
00:05:54.060
Firstly, when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala describes the descent of the Qur'an
00:06:04.540
as being a means by which he divides the believers from the hypocrites,
00:06:08.980
that it sends some people on a journey back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
00:06:12.040
and it sends others on a journey down a very dark path,
00:06:18.620
The people of Qur'an also, and there are no people that can rightfully be called
00:06:23.560
the people of Qur'an in the collective sense, like the people of Gaza today.
00:06:28.040
The people of the Qur'an also become a means by which you can distinguish truth and falsehood,
00:06:35.440
That's not to say that some very sincere believers have not experienced deep pain
00:06:41.840
that they've had to come to terms with over the last year and a half,
00:06:44.420
and have found themselves in a place of hardship and deep sorrow,
00:06:50.100
to where there was a waswasa, there was a whisper from the shaytan inside of them.
00:06:56.480
But what I'm talking about is the fact that because of Gaza,
00:07:00.280
you have people that have embraced Islam at a rate like we have never seen before,
00:07:05.780
and you have some people who still would find their way away from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:07:12.180
One of the things, subhanAllah, that you mentioned, which is very important here,
00:07:17.460
the people of Gaza are not questioning their faith.
00:07:19.840
So who are you to question faith on their behalf?
00:07:22.320
The people that are the core subject of this, that are experiencing this,
00:07:28.040
In fact, they are having extreme connection to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
00:07:35.920
They are renewed in their faith, their resilience.
00:07:41.960
That doesn't mean they are not devastated at times.
00:07:47.020
They cry over the circumstances that have befallen them.
00:07:53.080
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is putting them through an unnecessary trial
00:07:59.340
They understand that they are here for a purpose.
00:08:01.300
If you're born and raised in Gaza, you know from the very beginning
00:08:08.860
and that you occupy a very special purpose in this world.
00:08:14.540
these people are not limited by what's called the open-air prison of Gaza
00:08:23.240
that is broader than the heavens and the earth.
00:08:25.540
They are not intimidated by their human oppressor
00:08:29.160
because they're already connected to the lord of the oppressor and the oppressed.
00:08:34.140
They already are connected to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:08:42.100

ÙعÙØŽÙØ©Ù ضÙÙÙÙÙ
00:08:45.040
That whoever turns away from my remembrance will have a constricting life.
00:08:57.580
because they can't come to terms with devastation
00:09:00.820
of the people of Gaza or the refugees of the world.
00:09:03.920
People that leave Islam because they didn't marry the person they wanted to marry
00:09:13.260
they still find a way away from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:09:17.360
People that can't find happiness because they don't have purpose.
00:09:23.900
that things are known by their opposites as well.
00:09:26.140
That the more you remember Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
00:09:28.380
the more shiraah there is, the more expanse there is.
00:09:34.700
and they are connected to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:09:36.560
So they feel expanse even though they're in this tight circumstance.
00:09:42.620
let's not just talk about the people and the genocide.
00:09:46.900
let's not call them prisoners, a topic for another day.
00:09:49.640
You watch the hostages, the Palestinian hostages
00:09:52.240
that come out after having been in captivity for 30 years
00:10:00.340
And they still say, alhamdulillah, as soon as they come out
00:10:02.600
and they say, despite everything we've been subjected to,
00:10:07.940
So faith is not something that can be explained easily
00:10:13.460
to someone who's never touched it or been touched by it.
00:10:21.160
because they don't understand how these people still have purpose.
00:10:23.560
And on top of that, and this is what you mentioned about us,
00:10:28.340
faith is also something that we pray that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:10:31.840
consider us amongst His devout servants and believers
00:10:35.900
and grant us a high state of iman and certainty and yaqeen
00:10:38.580
so we can be like the people of Ghazza in this regard.
00:10:44.020
We've read about these stories and episodes from the Seerah.
00:10:50.160
But to see it exemplified so clearly in the people of Ghazza
00:10:54.460
has made the story of Hamza radiallahu anhu so much more real.
00:10:58.400
It has made the story of Mus'ab radiallahu anhu so real.
00:11:06.280
Wa ala dahduh, may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala bless him.
00:11:10.880
or not every single person, but I mean subhanAllah,
00:11:23.140
He says, my family went to Jannah and I went to Doha.
00:11:27.800
That's how he explains the way that subhanAllah that this happens.
00:11:34.580
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has destined victory for the people of Ghazza
00:11:37.580
and Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has destined paradise for all of us.
00:11:43.000
And the other side was not meant in any way to serve as a sedative,
00:11:48.160
as a means of making us complacent with the situation of Ghazza
00:11:50.980
and saying, oh, it's okay, Allah has taken care of them in the hereafter.
00:11:58.040
And this is something subhanahu wa ta'ala I talked about in the series,
00:12:00.120
that when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam talked about the shuhada of Uhud,
00:12:04.900
when Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala raised them to him
00:12:08.560
and gave them what he gave them after their shahadah,
00:12:11.820
they asked to come back and speak to their families
00:12:19.400
But they did not want the believers to lose heart.
00:12:22.100
They wanted them to keep at it, to say, we're okay, so keep at it.
00:12:37.640
You have to live with purpose and die with purpose as well.
00:12:42.000
I started writing this series actually in 2023.
00:12:52.320
Subhanallah, October 2024 was a very difficult month.
00:12:55.200
And October 2023, obviously, everything in between.
00:12:59.040
So I literally was filming this a year of genocide.
00:13:04.020
And I was writing it from the genocide onwards.
00:13:10.920
is that we think about divine justice as a future concept.
00:13:21.480
are already receiving their reward from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
00:13:31.480
It's about the fact that this exists right now.
00:14:02.440
Because that's the reason why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
00:14:09.140
we should live like we're going to die tomorrow.
