00:01:04.020 And I don't mean to say like this, not that it's like a burden, you know, because whatever comes from Allah is good, alhamdulillah, because we don't see the hikmah.
00:01:11.500 But the hardship has grown over the time and I've been going through this hardship for the past three years.
00:01:17.340 And as each year goes by, it's like that hope, but it's just like you just, you come to a point where you're just like, when is it going to finish?

00:01:25.340 And everybody has that dua where they want it to be answered no matter what it is.
00:01:28.260 It might be you're going through poverty, financial circumstances, a loss of a loved one, making dua for them.
00:01:36.060 Whatever it may be, it might be marriage, you're having marriage problems, you want to get married.
00:01:40.480 So all these problems, every single variety of things that, okay, obviously I can't think of now, that you're going through and you really want that dua to be accepted.
00:01:47.940 And brothers and sisters, it does really come and take that thing on, and it comes really hard on you.
00:01:54.420 Now, obviously for the past three years, it's been hard, alhamdulillah, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has given me ways of dealing with it.

00:02:04.600 And one thing that you need to acknowledge, brothers and sisters, that me personally, I know it's a test.

00:02:20.660 We know that when you are being tested and trialed, if it's bringing you closer to Allah, then indeed this is a test.

00:04:59.400 Allah doesn't say I respond to the one that's righteous.

00:06:30.580 But before that, I want to mention a few verses, a few narrations to you.
00:06:33.940 Sa'ad radiallahu anhu reported that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
00:06:38.560 The most in the suffering among the people are the Prophets.
00:06:42.140 Then the best.
00:06:43.300 Then the next best.
00:06:44.500 One is afflicted in accordance with his deen.
00:06:46.980 With his faith.
00:06:47.660 If his deen is firm, his affliction is hard.
00:06:51.920 If his deen is weak, his affliction is light.
00:06:55.780 And look how merciful Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is.
00:06:57.500 Indeed, one will be so much subjected to adversity until he walks among the people without any sins.
00:07:02.160 So you need to understand that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is testing you and giving you these trials and tribulations for a reason.
00:07:07.860 There is hikmah behind everything Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does.

00:07:16.220 You trust in Allah knowing, okay, this doesn't make sense to me.

00:07:20.400 Like, a lot of atheists ask, like, if God exists, why they're so evil, evilness, etc.
00:07:25.000 But what they do not understand and grasp is that we believe everything that Allah does is a reason.
00:07:30.880 An evidence to that is that Abu Sayyid al-Qudri radiallahu anhu said,
00:07:34.940 I was with Salman radiallahu anhu when he visited a sick man in Kindah, in Persia.
00:07:39.740 And he said to him, expect good.
00:07:42.620 Because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala makes a believer sickness and expiation for his sins and a period of rest.
00:07:49.680 However, when a disbeliever falls sick, he is like a camel whose owner ties it then, whose owner ties it and then lets it loose.
00:07:58.740 The camel does not understand why it was tied, not why it was freed.
00:08:03.740 Now, brothers and sisters, when a believing person gets tested, he knows automatically he should acknowledge and say,

00:08:16.600 But indeed, I know this is nothing but a test.

00:08:21.300 But where a person that has no belief, when he's sick or ill or calamity, he just doesn't understand.

00:08:35.900 So as a believer, we should understand that, look, when something is happening, it's happening for a reason.

00:09:22.800 So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is getting you ready for the dua that you want to be accepted.

00:09:30.260 You can't say, oh Allah, I want this dua, and then boom, your dua is going to be accepted.

00:09:35.780 If it's something that needs you, if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sees that you need to be prepared for that dua,

00:10:00.660 In Qur'an, in Surah Al-Ankabut, verse 2-3, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,

00:10:14.380 So brothers and sisters, what you need to acknowledge is that, look, why are we here?

00:10:22.160 Okay, then Allah says in the Qur'an, in Surah Hud, verse 115,

00:11:34.360 So do you think Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is going to answer that dua?
