00:00:00.000 Yeah, so okay, so Andrew told me to move out of the way. Andrew, what's the reason?
00:00:06.000 Look, you could see that most people passing are supportive. Lots and lots of thumbs up,
00:00:11.520 quite a few people tuning there the horn, which makes a big difference to us guys demonstrating.
00:00:16.400 Hopefully it doesn't annoy the neighbors too much. But every session, we do this twice a week,
00:00:21.200 remember? Every week, you get one or two lunatics. 0.98
00:00:24.400 I give salam to my people in Bangladesh. Salam to the people of Marrakesh. 0.96
00:00:37.760 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, brothers and sisters and dear friends.
00:00:40.720 Hope you guys are well, inshallah. I was invited here by Daniel. Daniel, he comes to the park in the speaker's corner
00:00:47.680 and he informed me that every Tuesday and Wednesday, they're here between 6 and 7 p.m.
00:00:53.080 They dedicate their time, their time that they have, brothers and sisters,
00:00:57.640 to come here in front of the Chinese Cultural Embassy. And we're going to start off with Daniel.
00:01:03.800 So, Daniel, how long have you been doing this for?
00:01:06.600 I've been doing it for a couple of months and my other people around me have been doing it for a lot longer.
00:01:11.640 Okay. Why do you need to find the need to come here? You could be doing it also. You could be going swimming or your cab,
00:01:17.640 you know, go play tennis. Why here?
00:01:20.840 Well, I believe that we all have a duty individually and collectively to stand up, shout, do whatever we can
00:01:28.120 to stop the Holocaust in China, to defend the Ouija's from their interments and the terrible things that are happening to them.
00:01:36.360 Every one of us has to collectively stand together and do something about this.
00:01:40.280 Okay. So, is this something close to you? Because if I'm not mistaken, you're Jewish yourself.
00:01:44.280 Yes, that's right.
00:01:44.760 Okay. So, it is something that your ancestors went through in the Holocaust in Nazi Germany.
00:01:49.560 So, obviously, this is something more close to you in the context because you knew what your parents or your grandparents went through
00:01:55.960 and you don't want history to repeat itself.
00:01:57.560 That's exactly right, Ali.
00:01:59.560 We, um, Jewish people have suffered in the 30s and throughout history and it's our duty, if you like, to,
00:02:05.240 we know what will happen because, um, if no one, if people had stood up for the Jewish people,
00:02:10.920 uh, then perhaps the Holocaust may not have happened in the 30s and it's our duty to, uh, stand up,
00:02:16.920 do everything we can to stop the, uh, tell the world what, um, what's happening to the Ouija's,
00:02:21.960 the innocent men, women and children and try and prevent this from happening.
00:02:25.400 Exactly. And brothers and sisters, as you can see, every Tuesday and Wednesday between 6 to 7 pm,
00:02:31.480 they're here. If you would like to join them, if you could do every week, that'll be good.
00:02:35.320 If, even if you can't, brothers and sisters, every now and then, if you can come, inshallah,
00:02:38.920 uh, the reason I came today, inshallah, is to reach it to masses. We live in a social media time,
00:02:43.960 uh, where social media thousands, millions of people can watch in an instant. So, that's the reason why
00:02:48.840 we're here to raise awareness, inshallah. And this is something I've, I've been wanting to do about
00:02:52.840 two or three months ago. And what you see on the walls here are posters, banners that I actually
00:02:58.680 just opened them up now because we wanted to go to the Chinese embassy near, um, the BBC channel in
00:03:04.520 central London, but we could, we couldn't get access to it for some reason, because we wanted to do
00:03:08.840 something. But it doesn't matter whoever does it, Daniel and his friends are doing it. And we're asking
00:03:13.480 you guys to come here every Tuesday, Wednesday, inshallah, uh, and do something about it,
00:03:17.000 Abraham sisters, because today it's them. And like, like, well, to be honest, uh, nearly 70,
00:03:22.200 80 years ago, it was the Jewish people and history is repeating itself. We're not learning our lessons 1.00
00:03:26.600 from the past and we do not want that to happen again, inshallah. So, and they're so dedicated,
00:03:30.840 Daniel and his team is so dedicated that, is it Andrew across the road? Andrew across the road is
00:03:36.280 putting his effort to make sure that every single vehicle sees it. And we're going to go ahead
00:03:41.720 off to Andrew, inshallah, uh, and speak to him. And, um, so he can tell us a bit more about it.
00:03:47.160 Yeah. So, okay. So Andrew told me to move out of the way. Andrew, what's the reason?
00:03:52.040 Um, look, you could, you could see that most people passing a supportive,
00:03:57.240 lots and lots of thumbs up, quite a few people tuning there, the horn, which makes a big difference
00:04:01.240 to us guys demonstrating. Hopefully it doesn't annoy the neighbors too much, but every session,
00:04:07.080 we did this twice a week. Remember every week you get one or two lunatics coming. And, um, 0.95
00:04:14.680 in the year and a half I've been doing this, I've twice been run. I had to jump out the way.
00:04:19.160 I think I was targeted. Um, so I didn't want you to get hurt basically.
00:04:24.440 Well, thank you. Thank you. So yeah, we were just thinking, why would anybody have a problem
00:04:28.520 with what you're doing? But I guess, you know, you just as the question will be asked, why would
00:04:33.320 any government, um, try to kill its own people or any, any people in India? So then the question
00:04:39.960 there, you know, is answered in itself, you know, I don't have to tell you that there's enough racists.
00:04:44.360 Yeah, yeah, exactly. You know, there's always one or two people. Um, we get equal amounts of
00:04:50.600 Islamophobic and anti-Semitic abuse. Oh, wow.
00:04:54.440 But you know, the vast, uh, vast minority. Yeah, yeah, we see some people flashing their lights.
00:04:59.080 No, no, flashing their lights is extremely supportive, but they'll, they'll, they'll,
00:05:02.440 they'll yell things or make symbols or, uh, yeah, but that's, that's one or two out of, I mean, we,
00:05:08.280 we, we, we reckon we get about a thousand to two thousand people passing every night. So, you know,
00:05:13.640 it's, it's, it's one or two out of those. Andrew, you, you, you've been doing this for about a year
00:05:18.120 and a half. You came to the speaker's corner, uh, and you're here every Tuesday, Wednesday. Where is this
00:05:23.560 dedication coming from? Like a lot of people say, look, you could have maybe be sitting at home
00:05:28.680 or, you know, I don't know. I want to be sitting at home. Why are you out here? Um, I'm, I'm out
00:05:34.440 here because I don't feel I can sit at home. Um, 80 years ago, my family were in concentration camps
00:05:42.200 and some of them in extermination camps. And I want to make it clear at the moment, these are
00:05:46.760 concentration camps. They're not yet extermination camps, but the Nazi party came to power in 1933.
00:05:53.880 It was not until 1942, nine years later, that the final solution and the extermination camps started.
00:05:59.880 Um, the world did nothing for nine years. And that's how you got the extermination camps. 0.91
00:06:06.920 Exactly. It starts with dehumanization, you know, in Nazi Germany, you know, in Nuremberg,
00:06:11.560 brothers and sisters, where the Jewish people had to wear certain symbols, uh, to, to show, uh,
00:06:16.440 who, who they are, you know, and vilification of, uh, pictures, uh, uh, um, with, you know, uh,
00:06:22.840 you know, no noses, you know, uh, yeah, like evil looking creatures, et cetera, uh, being compared
00:06:29.160 to rats or cockroaches. And this is a form of dehumanization, brothers and sisters. A lot
00:06:33.640 of people will think to themselves, why would anybody kill anyone? The point is in history,
00:06:37.640 brothers and sisters, when you justify and dehumanize, people are ready to pull the trigger
00:06:42.840 because no one's just going to kill anybody. But when they are made out to be as the enemy,
00:06:47.480 as the source of evil, dehumanize them first, exactly. Because that's what you need to do in
00:06:51.960 a human's mind. Nobody, no human would want to kill another human being, but they justify.
00:06:55.320 We had to for a greater cause. You know, these kinds of words, uh, were spoken in Nazi Germany.
00:07:00.360 And today Andrew is here and he's very dedicated and he's here every week promises as Muslims watching
00:07:05.080 at home twice, twice a week, uh, brothers and sisters, you know, I want to reach out to the Muslim community
00:07:11.720 because it's very, very sad because we are sleeping here. And the reason we're sleeping
00:07:16.360 is we're too busy in our comfy lives. And if we carry on like this, God almighty would punish us.
00:07:22.200 I'm being honest with you because our scriptures tell us that if you see evil and you don't do
00:07:26.600 nothing about it, and God will send down a calamity that even if you prostrate, it won't be rejected.
00:07:31.160 It will be rejected from you. You know, if this was your own family members, brothers and sisters
00:07:34.920 in concentration camps and being killed and all kinds of stories of, uh, uh, are being 0.91
00:07:40.520 tortures, raped, raped. How would you, would you be sitting at home having a coffee or tea?
00:07:47.000 You would not do that. So what's stopping you now, brothers and sisters? Is it cause
00:07:50.200 you're not there? Is it cause you don't care? What is it brothers and sisters?
00:07:53.640 It's happening every night. Yes, every night. I go, I go to bed knowing that, you know,
00:07:59.400 I'm comfortable in bed, but there's, I mean, there is a rape, probably many, many more of 0.97
00:08:06.280 Muslim women going on in, in these camps. There is torture, there is sterilization 0.98
00:08:12.680 every night. Um, and I, I just want it to, it needs to stop. Yes, exactly. Exactly. Brothers and sisters.
00:08:19.560 So every Tuesday, Wednesday, they're here from 6 to 7 PM. If you have the time and I'm sure you do,
00:08:24.920 you can make some time, you know, and come here and support them. I'm going to try my best.
00:08:29.400 to come once a week, if it's possible. So we wanted to come here today and speak to them.
00:08:34.040 As you can see, the support is being shown, brothers and sisters, and we want to make this
00:08:38.440 video reach mass amounts of people. We need to raise awareness, brothers and sisters. That's the least
00:08:42.760 that we can do. Cause the prophet said, if you see evil, try to stop it with your hands.
00:08:47.240 And if you cannot try to stop it with your tongue. And if you cannot, at least hate it in your heart.
00:08:52.360 Yes, you hate it in your heart, but you can speak out against it. We live in a time of social media,
00:08:57.320 a simple video raising awareness could reach millions and millions of people, brothers and
00:09:01.800 sisters, inshallah. And Andrew, I want to thank you on behalf of the Muslim community.
00:09:04.760 Can I just stop you there? We can make a difference. You can make a difference.
00:09:08.120 The Chinese government is very, very much into face. China does not want to be the world's pariah,
00:09:16.440 but China and China is the future of the world. It's the world's next policeman. And then the 0.94
00:09:22.120 world's next great power is going to take over from America very soon. But China can be a good China
00:09:28.440 for the world or evil, bad China. And China is turning out at the moment through this, 0.97
00:09:34.200 it looks like it's going to be, well, it's verging. It is an evil China. It needs to be, 1.00
00:09:38.760 but it can be changed. China's got tremendous good in it too. And we need to bring that out.
00:09:44.520 China doesn't want to be seen as the world's pariah. The Chinese government cares enormously
00:09:48.120 about face. When enough people like you and me talk about this with our friends and family,
00:09:53.320 and our friends and family tell their friends and family, then the Chinese will stop because 0.96
00:09:58.120 they don't want to be seen to be doing this. But at the moment it's happening and the world
00:10:03.800 is being silent. Exactly. And that's a part of the evil. Being silent is a part of the evil.
00:10:08.680 If I see someone being kicked on the floor and I'm silent about it, I'm a part of the crime,
00:10:14.120 brothers and sisters. If you do not speak out against it, how do you want change to happen?
00:10:19.240 How do you want change to happen, brothers and sisters? So if you're watching this at home,
00:10:22.280 share this with whoever you can, inshallah, brothers and sisters, with your family, friends,
00:10:25.960 colleagues, whatever it may be, inshallah, and try to join Andrew, myself, inshallah,
00:10:29.960 I'm going to try to dedicate once a week to come here Tuesday or Wednesday to raise awareness,
00:10:34.200 inshallah. And we are in, which area is this? Hamstead. We're in Hamstead, brothers and sisters.
00:10:39.160 Till next time, assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
