00:00:00.700 So, in the Quran, we've got Allah swearing by literally everything.
00:00:07.020 We'll be talking about that in a few moments.
00:00:12.540 Given that we find these things in the Muslim sources, I'm truly interested in how we can
00:00:18.980 sit here and poke fun at the doctrine of the Trinity.
00:00:21.540 Now, the real basis, I find, for reconciling these texts with the doctrine of Tawheed is
00:00:31.220 that Muslim scholars don't let you know this stuff, which is why you think it's funny when 1.00
00:00:35.840 you're hearing it.
00:00:36.600 Time is up, Dr. Wood.
00:00:43.880 Now we're going to start our second part, which is the 12-minute rebuttal, and going first is
00:00:49.700 Mr. Muhammad Hitchab.
00:00:50.740 You can go ahead.
00:00:52.520 I think David Wood has said some career-ending, embarrassing statements today.
00:00:55.660 I mean, to be honest with you, after 20 years of researching Islam, you come with this.
00:01:06.800 Okay, let's deal with one by one.
00:01:10.400 Allah says that Allah yusalli ala nabi, and he's here saying that he prays to the Prophet.
00:01:16.820 There's a difference between yusalli ala nabi, and yusalli ala in the Arabic language.
00:01:22.920 I knew this was going to happen.
00:01:24.580 I knew this was going to happen.
00:01:25.680 I knew I was going to have to give you a free Arabic lesson here today.
00:01:33.960 I knew it.
00:01:35.460 And that's why the translators put for, not to the Prophet.
00:01:39.500 You don't know what the words in Arabic mean.
00:01:42.120 Don't speak sassalah.
00:01:43.560 Come on, please, don't embarrass yourself.
00:01:45.720 Allah has parts.
00:01:47.080 He says, Muslim scholars say we should take this literally.
00:01:50.660 Which Muslim scholars?
00:01:51.360 Which Muslim scholars?
00:01:54.700 He says,
00:01:55.480 In Surah Al-Qasas, chapter 20 of the Quran, it means everything is destroyed except for his face.
00:02:01.800 And this means that Allah, all his body parts will be destroyed. 1.00
00:02:03.880 He has body parts and these things.
00:02:05.780 First of all, the word kull in Arabic doesn't necessarily mean all.
00:02:09.140 And he said, and he shows with examples, that the word kull doesn't mean all.
00:02:15.140 I'll give you an example.
00:02:15.760 In chapter 46 of the Quran, Surah Al-Ahqaf,
00:02:18.280 That the wind destroyed everything, kulli shaykh, the same words here in Surah Al-Qasas.
00:02:29.800 Everything was destroyed except for their houses.
00:02:31.860 If it meant every single thing, it wouldn't have been their houses would not be there.
00:02:34.880 So the word kull doesn't mean that in Arabic language.
00:02:36.700 Once again, it's a problem with language.
00:02:40.940 He says that, this is exactly his words.
00:02:43.240 He said the Quran is an eternal person.
00:02:45.280 Tell me one scholar in the history of Islam who said that.
00:02:47.560 This is a lie.
00:02:48.280 He says, the Quran is, you have to, it will come as a shafia on the day of judgment. 1.00
00:02:58.380 So if, this is the question.
00:02:59.640 I'll put it better for you.
00:03:00.500 I'll help you, yeah?
00:03:02.220 If the Quran is an attribute of God, how can it intercede for you? 0.99
00:03:05.240 This is what he's saying, right?
00:03:06.520 It's a good question.
00:03:07.360 This is a good question.
00:03:08.540 But it's not a proper understanding of the hadith.
00:03:11.100 This is the only good question you had.
00:03:12.760 I'll give it to you.
00:03:13.560 This is the only good question you had.
00:03:14.620 The hadith says,
00:03:16.780 So it's not that the Quran, i.e. the attribute of Allah that will intercede for you on the day of judgment.
00:03:24.380 But it is your qira of the Quran and the thawab that you get of the Quran. 0.93
00:03:27.920 Which means the reward you get from the recitation of the Quran. 0.60
00:03:30.380 Not the Quran as an attribute of Allah.
00:03:31.920 He says, therefore, there's 114 persons of the Quran.
00:03:39.940 Too coquay fallacy.
00:03:41.340 Too coquay fallacy. 0.93
00:03:42.760 I told you he would do it and appeal to hypocrisy.
00:03:44.900 So here are you admitting that having more than one person of a being of God is wrong?
00:03:49.580 Because you should lead to Trinitarianism then. 0.98
00:03:52.140 But obviously, as we know, there's no one in the history of Islam that referred to the surah of the Quran as persons.
00:03:57.420 This is wrong.
00:03:57.920 You don't know about Islam.
00:03:58.920 Here you're being educated.
00:04:00.140 He said,
00:04:02.240 He didn't know the Arabic, but I'm going to give him the Arabic.
00:04:05.800 In chapter 6, verse 108 of the Quran, where Allah says that Allah did not have a mate.
00:04:11.220 So does this mean, what does this mean?
00:04:13.360 That biological, they had a discussion about biological.
00:04:16.300 Really and truly, how can you have a begotten son?
00:04:18.620 There's only three options.
00:04:19.820 Number one, biology.
00:04:21.320 Number two, adoption.
00:04:22.700 And number three, metaphor.
00:04:24.140 And if you say it's not biology and it's not adoption, it must be a metaphor.
00:04:27.160 So Jesus is not a son of God.
00:04:30.140 Okay.
00:04:36.160 And then he says that the prophets, they played, you know, they tried to get his hair and the spit and these things.
00:04:41.140 Okay.
00:04:41.620 Well, if you think spitting on someone makes you a God, well, that's what it implies. 0.63
00:04:46.080 And I wonder why you look at every other verse of the Bible as implying that Jesus was God.
00:04:50.940 Because for you, a spit, that's, that's making me a God now. 0.99
00:04:58.620 I mean, don't embarrass yourself in front of me.
00:05:05.200 As-salamu alayka.
00:05:06.120 He said this means that he's interceding.
00:05:08.180 Because it's a narrative voice.
00:05:09.760 As-salamu alayka.
00:05:10.480 We say this in the tashahud every time. 0.59
00:05:12.940 It's a narrative voice.
00:05:14.240 However, let's not say it's a narrative voice.
00:05:16.240 Let's give it to him.
00:05:17.160 He says this must mean that the prophet Muhammad is omnipresent.
00:05:20.260 Yes.
00:05:21.140 He's omnipresent.
00:05:22.640 Let's, let's have fun with him today.
00:05:24.600 There is a hadith in Bukhari which says that whenever one person does salah on the Nabi,
00:05:28.780 which means blessings and praise on the prophet, blessings on the prophet,
00:05:33.720 the angel will carry that and give it to him.
00:05:36.920 It doesn't mean that he's hearing it everywhere.
00:05:39.440 The angel is moving it around.
00:05:41.320 This is from the will of Allah.
00:05:43.600 And if you didn't know that, now you do.
00:05:47.180 He says that kalimatullah, the Aysa being referred to as the word of Allah,
00:05:52.980 must mean that he is divine.
00:05:55.140 So although the Quran says clearly that he's not divine,
00:05:57.520 no, it makes a mistake.
00:05:58.480 He is divine.
00:06:00.100 You're all over the place.
00:06:01.240 You're fumbling all over the place.
00:06:02.380 It's embarrassing.
00:06:03.440 Kalimatullah is defined in chapter 3 verse 58 of the Quran.
00:06:07.200 Where Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
00:06:16.880 Five minutes left.
00:06:18.380 He said to him, be, and he was.
00:06:20.060 The word is defined in the Quran as be.
00:06:22.520 So Allah says be and things are.
00:06:24.160 Just like he said be with Adam.
00:06:25.800 He said be with Jesus.
00:06:26.980 And he was.
00:06:28.900 He says that there are seven planetary things in Arabia and these things.
00:06:32.940 I mean, how can you make a judgment?
00:06:36.000 First of all, I haven't got a reference for that.
00:06:38.220 I didn't see a reference.
00:06:38.860 He didn't say, yes, I give you a reference here.
00:06:40.800 It says Bukhari, whatever.
00:06:41.700 Even if he's got a reference.
00:06:42.820 How do you know that the practice originated from that and not from Abraham?
00:06:46.420 After all, Abraham, even in the Old Testament,
00:06:50.260 yes, he existed, pre-existed before Jesus.
00:06:53.880 Even though you have, you know, the physical Jesus.
00:06:56.320 And he was there in the desert.
00:06:58.480 And you have in the book of Psalms mention of pilgrimage.
00:07:00.900 So, if this is the case, then I wonder why this is mentioned.
00:07:05.280 Now this is, I think this is all that he kind of mentioned.
00:07:08.540 I want to give you one principle, ladies and gentlemen, that will destroy everything he said.
00:07:12.120 The Quran says, chapter 42, verse 11.
00:07:14.200 لَيْسَ كَمِثْرِهِ شَيْءُ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
00:07:16.320 That there's nothing like him.
00:07:18.700 You cannot do تَشْبِيهِ
00:07:20.120 Or تَمْثِيلُ
00:07:21.540 Of Allah.
00:07:22.500 Anything that we see in the Quran, talking about the hand, talking about the face, 0.72
00:07:27.200 all of these things, you can rest assured, because of this verse and the other verse,
00:07:31.260 وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ كُفْ وَنَاهَدْ
00:07:32.620 That this means, yes, this means it cannot be compared to anything you imagine.
00:07:39.360 لَا تُدْرِكُ الْعَبْصَارُ وَهُ يُدْرِكَ الْعَبْصَارُ
00:07:41.400 In the Quran, anyways, I mean, every Muslim knows this.
00:07:45.020 But the idea is, there's an implicit admission here, that I've lost.
00:07:49.560 This is what I come up with.
00:07:50.920 I've lost.
00:07:51.900 Yes, we know, Trinitarianism is so confusing, but I'm going to show you how much, you know,
00:07:55.820 Tawhid is confusing as well.
00:07:57.000 I have admitted defeat, therefore I'm going down.
00:07:59.840 I'm going down, I'm going to try and take you down with me.
00:08:01.560 That's really what you're trying to say to me, David Wood.
00:08:05.260 I know by the look of your face here, you would probably agree with me.
00:08:07.860 Let's be honest, look at his face.
00:08:09.040 Everyone, ladies and gentlemen, take a look at his face.
00:08:12.060 Yes, anyways, I've got a few minutes left.
00:08:14.860 Let me recite some Quran because I've done with this guy.
00:08:17.280 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, he says in chapter number 19, verse number 31, about Jesus.
00:08:24.320 This is what we believe about Jesus.
00:08:25.440 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, and he says in chapter of the Bible,
00:08:27.900 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, and Jesus refused.
00:08:30.140 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and sa biha, wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala.
00:08:33.240 wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'asa wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala wa ta'ala.
00:08:37.340 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:07.340 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:37.340 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:43.520 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:43.680 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:44.280 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:45.080 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:46.500 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:46.920 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:48.320 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:48.460 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:49.040 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:09:49.640 Surah Al-Fatihah
00:10:01.920 Listen to it.
00:10:02.380 Tell me if this is not a better model for you.
00:10:04.440 Be honest.
00:10:05.420 This is Jesus.
00:10:06.080 He says, I am the slave of Allah, of God.
00:10:10.000 He gave me the book and he made me a prophet.
00:10:12.280 Just like in chapter 8 of Mark, verse 48.
00:10:19.240 People thought Jesus was a prophet in the New Testament time, in the time of Jesus when he was alive.
00:10:26.860 وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا اِنَا مَكُنتَ
00:10:28.420 And he made me blessed wherever I am.
00:10:29.780 This is what we believe of Jesus.
00:10:32.660 He made me blessed wherever I am.
00:10:35.740 You know.
00:10:37.080 وَأَوْصَانِي بِالصَّلَاةِ وَالزَّكَاتِ مَا دُلْتُ حَيَّةً
00:10:39.780 And he told me to pray and to give charity so long as I am alive.
00:10:43.920 You know.
00:10:45.580 This is what we believe about Jesus Christ.
00:10:47.540 وَبَرَّنْ بِوَالِدَتِ
00:10:48.560 I was good with my mother.
00:10:50.620 وَلَمْ أَكُنْ جَبَّارًا جَقِيَةً
00:10:52.040 I wasn't an arrogant person.
00:10:53.640 وَسَلَّمُ عَلَيَّ يَوْمُ وُلِدْتُ
00:10:55.040 And peace be upon me the day I was born and the day I die
00:10:58.480 and the day I will come back to life.
00:11:00.600 That is Jesus, son of Mary, the one who you differed about.
00:11:05.240 جَزَاكُمُ اللَّهُ خَيْرًا
00:11:06.320 Before we start on...
