00:00:00.000 I'm here with my wife, and we thought, you know what, we're going to be talking about the Prophet's character, what the Prophet taught us, and we're going to have a hashtag there, inshallah.
00:00:08.840 I'm here with my wife.
00:00:38.840 I'm here with my wife, and we're going to have a hashtag there, inshallah.
00:01:08.840 This has been going on 1400 years ago, from Abu Jahl to Abu Lahab, may Allah's curse be upon them, and the Prophets have always faced this.
00:01:16.440 At Salaam, sharing affection, love and mercy, we are starting a new series where we're going to be dweaving into the Prophet's character.
00:01:22.840 In person, I'm going to demonstrate that to you, be it with little sketches, or be it me and my wife doing certain things, inshallah.
00:01:31.040 Our aim with this video is not to show you that we're all happy, cold, lucky, family, woo, to show you, no, no, no, please.
00:01:37.860 We're not here to do that, just to make something clear, because we don't want people to be like, oh, mashallah, look, we don't know nothing about our private life, etc.
00:01:43.940 I'm not saying it's bad or good, but I'm not here to represent something, and, you know, marriages have ups and downs.
00:01:51.340 So, this is not about that video, so, I'm not here to show us couples, etc.
00:01:55.180 So, just to give that disclaimer.
00:01:56.920 Now, the end of the video, I'm here with my wife, and we thought, you know what, we're going to be talking about the Prophet's character, what the Prophet taught us.
00:02:05.980 So, we're going to have a hashtag there, inshallah.
00:02:08.020 I think that's the hashtag, what the Prophet taught us, or something along those lines, but the hashtag is there.
00:02:12.620 So, I had an idea with my wife.
00:02:14.680 So, Asalaamu Alaikum.
00:02:16.260 Asalaamu.
00:02:16.900 Okay.
00:02:17.620 So, here was the idea, I want you to tell me what you think, okay?
00:02:19.660 I thought, lockdown's coming, next Thursday is going to be a lockdown, yeah?
00:02:25.380 So, I thought, what's everyone going to do?
00:02:27.720 Staying at home, sleeping, watching movies, whatever it may be, okay?
00:02:32.020 They're not going to be doing much.
00:02:32.780 So, I thought, you know what?
00:02:34.460 Let's put into action something the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, taught us, yeah?
00:02:38.940 Which was what?
00:02:40.260 That the Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, said to us that Angel Gabriel came to him so much so,
00:02:44.560 that, and he emphasised on the rights of the neighbours, that the Prophet said that he feared that,
00:02:51.560 he said, you know what, there might be, like, I fear Angel Gabriel is going to come and say,
00:02:54.640 you know what, your neighbours can inherit from you.
00:02:56.760 So, this is the rights of the neighbours.
00:02:58.300 And some of the said have said, your neighbours are, if I'm not mistaken, 40 to your right,
00:03:02.420 40 to your left, 40 in front of you, and 40 behind you, okay?
00:03:06.080 So, obviously, that's a lot of neighbours to take care of.
00:03:08.960 But, I have the following idea.
00:03:10.560 Why don't we write a letter to our neighbours, from us, and we'll go and hand deliver it to them, yeah?
00:03:17.140 So, those who open the door, we'll speak to them and tell them what the word is about.
00:03:20.320 And, in our, obviously, the flat that we live in, there are some females, 1.00
00:03:24.920 non-Muslim females who live alone, you know? 1.00
00:03:27.320 So, we thought, you know, it's something that you can do yourself, because, you know, females, you know? 1.00
00:03:32.440 So, let's start writing the letter, yeah?
00:03:34.840 Okay, so, are you ready?
00:03:35.820 Yeah.
00:03:36.160 Because I need your help with the English, because my English is bad.
00:03:39.040 Let's start off with, um, dear neighbour, yeah?
00:03:45.860 How's that?
00:03:47.060 Yeah, that's fine.
00:03:47.920 Yeah.
00:03:50.320 I'll give you Salaam, right?
00:03:52.300 Hmm?
00:03:52.740 I'll give you Salaam.
00:03:53.640 You do.
00:03:54.120 Okay, that's good.
00:03:55.300 I'll always start with Salaam. 0.80
00:03:56.980 To give Salaam, it's a map.
00:03:58.240 To reply, it's fine.
00:04:00.100 Yeah, so, let's start with, dear, to our dear neighbours, yeah?
00:04:04.440 That's at the top.
00:04:05.860 That's it.
00:04:06.580 Okay, guys, so, we've drafted that.
00:04:08.280 What we're going to do now is we're going to go with my wife, get that printed, 0.65
00:04:11.600 and maybe find some cards, if you have that in order to that.
00:04:15.820 Okay, guys, so, we've done our, our letter.
00:04:18.100 We're going to go and try to find the cell phones of dead, of course, the royal mail letters.
00:04:24.440 We'll try to find something nice.
00:04:27.820 It's not really great.
00:04:28.680 No, it's really good.
00:04:29.460 Salaam, guys.
00:04:42.720 So, basically, the only ones we could find with the neighbour, it's this one.
00:04:47.120 But, it says, this greeting comes to wish you a, wish you lots of Christmas cheer.
00:04:52.940 So, we're going to have to get my sticker to cover that, because we're going to buy that Christmas life.
00:04:57.900 So, guys, where am I today?
00:04:59.160 So, I'm going to get this, the letter that we wrote.
00:05:02.360 We thought, instead of putting it separately, we'll print it off small and put it on top of the bit where it says about season greetings,
00:05:09.980 because we're not really giving this card because of that.
00:05:14.020 And we'll just put it over there, so it killed two birds with one stone.
00:05:18.000 So, I'm going to go get that printed.
00:05:19.040 And I thought, on the left side, I can put a picture of a hadith.
00:05:24.360 Brother, before I print it off, can you show me what it looks like?
00:05:28.020 Before I print it, I'm going to send it for print.
00:05:29.920 That's it.
00:05:30.380 Two kinds of cards.
00:05:51.080 This one, which, yes, it looks a bit Christmassy, but it doesn't look covered.
00:05:57.780 So, inside, as you can see, I've tried to make it a bit creative.
00:06:02.020 You can see here, and there you are.
00:06:05.240 But the main ones that we've got are these ones.
00:06:07.860 So, for example, as you can see, it says to our special neighbor.
00:06:14.620 This bit here, I found a little bit of a creative way to cover that.
00:06:18.500 So, what I'm going to do is, as you can see, just to keep it halal, you know what I'm saying? 1.00
00:06:24.420 Just, I'm actually going to make my mess.
00:06:25.720 Smash, smash, smash, get me. 0.50
00:06:31.880 If I make a mess, I'm going to have to send the location to my wife. 1.00
00:06:35.740 And, there you go.
00:06:42.420 So, I'm sure the natives are going to be thinking, why?
00:06:47.820 But, that's what I'm going to be doing, inshallah, for me here.
00:06:50.880 Just put it here.
00:07:01.700 All right, so, I'll give you a survey.
00:07:14.440 And this, from us, you know there's a lockdown.
00:07:18.500 It's just a little message from us to you guys.
00:07:19.780 Because, you know, if you have anything that you need, just let us know.
00:07:24.260 If it's, like, shopping, you might need, you might have a car.
00:07:27.100 Oh, yeah.
00:07:27.400 But, if you need anything through the lockdown, just let us know.
00:07:30.280 This one must.
00:07:30.980 Okay, thank you very much.
00:07:31.940 Take care.
00:07:32.280 All right.
00:07:32.520 Thank you.
00:07:36.060 Hi, hello.
00:07:37.060 You know the card.
00:07:38.780 Yeah, thank you.
00:07:40.700 No, go on.
00:07:41.400 Let us go if you need anything.
00:07:42.160 Yeah.
00:07:42.800 Let us know.
00:07:44.300 No, no.
00:07:44.900 You're welcome.
00:07:45.480 We're welcome to you.
00:07:50.720 Hello.
00:07:51.360 How are you?
00:07:51.780 Hi, my.
00:07:52.040 We're from Placus.
00:07:53.460 We're from Placus.
00:07:54.660 No, we're from Placus.
00:07:56.000 Oh, okay.
00:07:56.460 Yeah, it's for you.
00:07:57.260 It's for you.
00:07:57.860 You know, there's lockdown happening.
00:07:59.400 Okay.
00:07:59.940 And, if you need anything, let us know.
00:08:02.240 Choose a message from us to you guys.
00:08:03.400 Oh, okay.
00:08:03.780 If you need anything, if you don't have a car, or if you need sugar, water, whatever,
00:08:07.860 or if you need anything, just tell us or if you need anything, just in case, just check
00:08:37.420 up on Placus.
00:08:38.080 Yeah, because we live a bit in a remote area.
00:08:40.080 Because we're Muslims, and taking care of their needs is very important.
00:08:43.060 Oh, that's lovely.
00:08:44.260 Thank you, Simon.
00:08:44.920 You're welcome.
00:08:45.840 So, what is content to eat and everything you know?
00:08:47.560 Yeah, what are you doing?
00:08:48.100 Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
