Why is there a double standard when it comes to the killing of innocent people by Israel and Muslims in the Middle East? What is the difference between using the words "died" and "killed" in relation to the deaths of Palestinians and Israeli children?
00:00:00.000As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, brothers and sisters and dear friends, we're in central London in front of the BBC studios here today with Mohammed Hijab and we are here to show the double standards and the hypocrisy of the British broadcasting channel and sadly they've been very biased, they got some attacks from Ofcom in the context that was being complacent was Ofcom and after that they changed their tone towards the Israeli ambassador and that shows you brothers and sisters that when unbiased media is shown, you see how the world has seen the reality on the ground.
00:00:29.980So what we're going to do now is me and Mohammed Hijab, we're going to go to a van that we have rented and you're going to see the images of the reality of BBC using the words like clash and when it comes to the killings of the Palestinians died, but when it comes to the killing of the Israelis killed, let's turn off to the van inshaAllah and carry on their own.
00:00:45.980As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh, brothers and sisters and dear friends, we are here in front of the BBC studios in central London, why are we here today? Brothers and sisters, we had to come here today to show the reality of what is happening.
00:00:56.980The crime, genocidal crime, ethnic cleansing, apartheid state of Israel. What you see behind me brothers and sisters is a BBC reporter. Now we're not blaming herself, I think her name is Jane, but the wording that's used here is very disturbing.
00:01:11.980Mohammed Hijab, so as you can see on my left hand side it says 61 Palestinian children died. And on your side if you can read it, what does it say?
00:01:20.980What does it say? The difference between using words like died and killed is died is used in a passive, whereas have been killed is used in an active form.
00:01:30.980The major difference here is, of course, when you're saying that the Palestinians have died, what you're doing is effectively absolving the perpetrators from the crime.
00:01:41.980You're not bringing attention of who the perpetrators are. You're not telling us who has killed them.
00:01:47.980Whereas two Israeli children have been killed. The emphasis here is, of course, on the killing and the killer.
00:01:54.980And the killer. So it's very clear. This is manipulation of language. This is use of subtext of certain connotations.
00:02:03.980And this manipulation of language highlights the extent to which the extent to which BBC is trying to placate to the Zionist organizations in this country because they have been grabbed by the throat by those organizations.
00:02:19.980And they cannot come to a situation where they are, in fact, being honest and objective in their journalism.
00:02:26.980Exactly, exactly. So brothers and sisters, we live in the 21st century when human rights are uplifted and you have different organizations who are talking about human rights.
00:02:34.980But one begs the question, why is it that when it comes to human rights and human suffering, that when the Muslims are suffering, there's a double standard?
00:02:43.980We do not just see it on a BBC on a level where international media, but we even have states, America, Britain, people like Boris Johnson, Priti Patel.
00:02:54.980Yes, even Biden, the president of America, coming and telling us that Israel has a right to defend itself.
00:03:01.980Why is it that these words of Palestinians have a right to defend their self is not used?
00:03:06.980So we are here to highlight that in the public and let the whole world see the double standards.
00:03:12.980When it comes to the lives of the Palestinians and the Muslims, they have died, meaning they just cease to exist.
00:03:17.980But when it comes to the children of Israel, they are killed.
00:03:21.980We condemn killing done on both sides to innocent people, especially children.
00:03:25.980We're not here to talk about one and not the other because that will make us hypocrites and we're not hypocrites.
00:03:29.980We are here to speak the truth because Allah tells us in the Quran, speak the truth even if it's against yourself or kin.
00:03:35.980So we're saying why the double standards.
00:03:37.980Now we're going to go to another slide show where this word clash was used.
00:03:41.980And BBC got so much hate because Muslims in their thousands and millions came together and alhamdulillah reported it to Ofcom.
00:03:48.980And Ofcom had to do something about it.
00:03:50.980And then the BBC turned its eyes to Israel.
00:03:53.980But before that, they were using the word clash.
00:03:55.980Now, do you have a problem with the word clash?
00:03:57.980I do have a problem with the word clash.
00:03:59.980Once again, it is, when you use the word clash, should we get the thing first?
00:04:08.980Now, Hijab, do you have a problem with the word clash?
00:04:10.980The word clash, once again, this is typical manipulation of language.
00:04:13.980Using language which makes it seem as if there is a mutual or an equal reciprocation of violence.
00:04:20.980This is not an equal or a mutual reciprocation of violence.
00:04:23.980There clearly is a Goliath, to use the ironic term, in the state of Israel, which is one of the most capable armies in the known world.
00:04:31.980And then you have these military groups and children, and you have this most densely populated area in the world of two million people being squashed into an area.
00:05:44.980They're launching and detonating these things.
00:05:45.980The fact of the matter is, you cannot compare the, the capabilities of a military group, like Hamas, with the, with the fourth most capable army in the world with nuclear weapons.
