Ali Dawah - NON MUSLIM ASKS FOR MY NUMBER - Q&A WITH SIS

00:00:00.000 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuh brothers and sisters and dear friends hope you guys are doing well welcome to my channel

00:00:28.680 this is a unique video actually because on this video we have sister Fatima may Allah bless her she's working on a documentary and also mashallah I think they're working as a family there's sister Fatima there's a sister who does the camera work may Allah bless her and her brother Abdullah who accompanies her when she's doing this so they're a lovely nice family mashallah may Allah bless her but barakah in the work they're doing there's a question that the sister wanted to ask she's going to ask me that question she's here and she's not going to be on camera she's going to be off camera

00:00:58.680 asking me and we're going to deal with the situation I'm sure it's a lot of questions a lot of sisters who wear the hijab or those who don't wear it so long story short

00:01:06.680 what's the question

00:01:08.600 As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wabarakatuh

00:01:10.680 the scenario today I was heading from my place to my sisters and a car was coming past and I was walking down the road and we're going opposite directions and in the car the driver slowed down and then looked he had a hoodie on and everything so I just thought maybe he thought he knew me or whatever

00:01:30.680 a couple of minutes later as I was crossing the zebra cross in the car reverse back the same car the man's removed his hood and he's calling me back at the zebra cross

00:01:39.680 so when I was like I looked behind to see who it was like he's calling there's only me so I approached like the window from far and I was like yeah how can I help you the question was how old are you

00:01:52.680 how old are you and I was like excuse me and he was like how old are you and I said um I'm probably older than you anyway

00:02:00.680 okay

00:02:01.680 and I said I have to go and he said no no no I'm 27 how old are you

00:02:05.680 and I was like I'm sorry I walked off but there's as you turn out there's a second zebra cross there just where the police station is

00:02:12.680 okay so he stopped there yeah and then was crossing the street I was crossing the street from there then he stopped

00:02:23.680 okay and then he stopped um the second time yeah and he said phone number phone number

00:02:30.680 oh he's doing this yeah he's doing that phone number phone number yeah I was like no and then I walked off

00:02:36.680 yeah I was really annoyed as a Muslim girl yeah I was like what makes a non-Muslim man have the strength and the ability to ask me for my number 1.00

00:02:47.680 if I haven't provoked in any way I haven't spoken to him I haven't done anything

00:02:52.680 so the question that you're probably asking is okay I'm wearing the hijab you know I'm not dressed up in a certain way so why

00:02:59.680 yeah that's the question yeah yeah hijab is supposed to be a barrier 1.00

00:03:03.680 okay let me tell you why I might be right or wrong why men especially non-Muslim men are going down this route 0.79

00:03:13.680 now men in general we have a psychology yeah if you're not practicing if you don't fear Allah especially

00:03:20.680 we have a psychology where we are weak and our biggest weakness is women yeah 1.00

00:03:25.680 uh my teacher always said to me three things destroy a man money fame or woman yeah now this doesn't mean women are evil it just means that we have a weakness towards them 0.96

00:03:33.680 which you get just as a woman has a weakness towards maybe she's insecure you know makeup or bags or I don't know whatever women do yeah 1.00

00:03:39.680 so with a man the biggest weakness we are told Allah says in the Quran the biggest you know weakness for a man is a woman

00:03:44.680 you know and the prophet said there is nothing more I fear for my ummah than woman yeah so this means that we have that weakness 0.84

00:03:49.680 so with men in general when you have no integrity you just have nothing you're just like a junkie yeah

00:03:55.680 is that we when I say we I'm not I'm just talking men generally yeah no we try our luck with anything we just try our luck yeah

00:04:04.680 so now before there was a barrier before the hijab meant something before the hijab was like okay you know

00:04:10.680 respectful you don't do that I think there's something that's happened that's caused people both Muslim and non-Muslims to say you know what

00:04:18.680 that don't mean nothing anymore what has caused that that's really crucial for us to understand

00:04:23.680 and I personally believe that this goes for both both males as well yeah so you see if I imagine

00:04:30.680 I'm gonna give a scenario so sisters understand and don't feel attacked I wear a fob let's say I have a topi

00:04:35.680 I got a muswaq in my hand I've got a long beard and I've got Islamic I'm saying Islamic words

00:04:39.680 ya'ani alhamdulillah you know I'm going as righteous flex now when you see brothers going and

00:04:47.680 if they see me flirting with girls hugging girls messing around with girls what's going to happen is that

00:04:55.680 that value of that clothing and the appearance that I look I'm causing damage to it now I'm damaging it 0.87

00:05:00.680 slowly yeah so now there's damage being caused so then what's going to happen is non-Muslim women 1.00

00:05:05.680 who look at me like oh look at that guy you know he looks righteous he looks holy you know respect you have 0.93

00:05:09.680 when they start to see me doing certain acts they're going to be like okay I'm very hypocritical

00:05:16.680 they're going to say okay maybe one off then they turn around and see another guy in a foe doing the same thing

00:05:20.680 then they walk and they go and they see another guy and they hear stories like what what that guy in the beard is

00:05:25.680 what he committed zinnah no way they do that yeah so now they're like wow okay it might be one off whatever

00:05:32.680 when this occurrence keeps happening and when they see this guy who I don't know maybe

00:05:37.680 plucks his eyebrows or I don't know just looks a certain way you know slits in his eye I don't

00:05:42.680 know what you get what I'm trying to say you're damaging the uniform that you're wearing because

00:05:46.680 the uniform represents something yeah when your house is burning and you see a firefighter you are

00:05:51.680 gonna call him why because his dress symbolizes something now imagine this if your house is burning

00:05:59.680 if your house is burning and he goes fireman please can you help me my house is burning and he goes

00:06:02.680 sorry sir just because I'm dressed up in this uniform doesn't make me a firefighter

00:06:07.680 that's like somebody coming and saying oh just because I'm dressed like this doesn't mean I'm holy

00:06:13.680 nobody's expecting you to be holy but there's certain things that you don't do do you get it

00:06:16.680 nobody's saying be an angel we're all sinners but seeing a sister in hijab or a brother in a beard 0.51

00:06:21.680 kissing in public that's wrong you don't like come on have limits you know I'm saying so doing certain

00:06:28.680 certain acts like I don't know drinking alcohol like come on you don't do that do you get it just

00:06:33.680 the way you see a police officer who's there to protect and serve you doing the opposite you're

00:06:37.680 like that doesn't fit into your uniform you're not supposed to be doing that do you get what I'm

00:06:40.680 trying to say so that's what I believe once that's happening it's damaged the whole principle

00:06:45.680 and the whole value of the hijab so what happens now is that Muslim men and non-Muslim men when they have

00:06:53.680 have this psychology of okay let me try my luck so they go and they try it so let's see let's say

00:06:58.680 with you like mashallah bless you you're not about that you know I'm saying you just said look get

00:07:02.680 lost but if their sister wear their sister in hijab and be it niqabi be it they might be a bit like 1.00

00:07:10.680 okay niqabi yeah trust me there's some men who even try that Muslim men yeah they might I've heard of this 1.00

00:07:14.680 then when they see a sister is dressed up in a certain way she's not to blame for the way she's

00:07:19.680 dressed but the fact is that the hijab that she's wearing in her head has no value now the value is 0.60

00:07:23.680 gone why is it gone what's causing it it's because if as a man it's become common it's become um

00:07:29.680 yeah what's it's too for example there's a lot of hijabis now this is something a discussion I have 1.00

00:07:35.680 with my friends yeah quite often hijab has excuse my language become sexualized a little bit because

00:07:42.680 of the way some girls would wear hijab but really skimpy outfit or some girls would would do certain 1.00

00:07:49.680 things and I'm not blaming girls on me right I'm saying men are no longer seeing a hijab as a barrier

00:07:54.680 anymore they see everything else exactly that woman whereas before it was like the moment a girl has a 0.76

00:07:59.680 hijab whether she was wearing tie or loose complete like no no yeah whereas now even Muslim men or non-muslim 0.99

00:08:06.680 men try their luck it's almost now it's it's become so often like I see so many non-muslim men approach 0.93

00:08:13.680 and my head to business looks like hold on what's this in my head yes it sounds really but it's like a fetish

00:08:19.680 it's like you know because what it is now you need to understand with men yeah is non-muslim women are 0.99

00:08:25.680 you know certain women mainly non-muslim they don't wear hijab but also their sisters who struggle 0.60

00:08:30.680 with it as well so what it is is they look and and sadly today's society women are you know you need to 1.00

00:08:36.680 dress a certain way looking at now it's become boring now they're like okay women in hijab okay 1.00

00:08:40.680 that's more like you know like do you get what I'm trying to say it's like a challenge yeah exactly so

00:08:46.680 that's what women don't cover up now men are almost liking the girls that cover up now yes exactly you

00:08:51.680 you know what because a lot of girls have become so in a way the way they dress and they behave that 1.00

00:08:56.680 now men are just like okay this is just like I'm bored you get I want something more challenging so 0.80

00:09:01.680 that can be one factor that's a mental but another thing is like I said to you before

00:09:04.680 is that damage that's been happened so when he approaches that girl in a hijab however

00:09:08.680 she's dressed and she starts smirking and smiling he's thinking look I just tried my luck and it worked

00:09:13.680 so now when that happens you think he's gonna be next time he sees a hijab he's gonna be like nah she might

00:09:18.680 know he's gonna say look she's probably gonna be on it the way the other girls so now this comes to 0.99

00:09:24.680 our point of both brothers and sisters who observe the Islamic even this beard because I might be

00:09:28.680 looking like this but the fact that I look like a Muslim I need to observe that hijab you get what I'm

00:09:32.680 trying to say modesty so when we tarnish that you're not only just damaging yourself you're not just

00:09:37.680 you need to understand you are damaging Islam yeah not that Islam gets damaged but you know the whole 1.00

00:09:43.680 the whole concept of it and you're making people not respect it do you get what I'm trying to say

00:09:47.680 so that's why it's so important on us that we keep this and this principle

00:09:53.680 understand that you when you do these actions it's not just you you're affecting everyone and you're

00:09:59.680 taking all those sisters and all those brothers and brothers who are doing that as well you're taking

00:10:03.680 them all down with you you're taking them all down with you and those who are genuine we're not about 1.00

00:10:07.680 it's a huge responsibility yes it's a huge responsibility but all we're saying is look

00:10:12.680 you're not going to be perfect no one's asking you to be perfect you're going to have your struggles

00:10:16.680 I'm not having a bad sister to wear the hijab and have jeans look you have your struggles 0.98

00:10:19.680 it's a struggle me I have struggles you get it what I'm just saying is there's certain things that

00:10:24.680 you shouldn't do even if you're wearing a hijab and tight clothing there's certain things you should 1.00

00:10:28.680 not do you get what I'm trying to say because then you have recently like you have sisters saying look I

00:10:33.680 don't wear the hijab but I don't do what these hijabi girls do look that's wrong as well you know 1.00

00:10:37.680 but that's not what you just want to go for farah hijab is farah exactly that's what I'm saying

00:10:42.680 that's why I would say why that's happened I this is why and you guys you're watching this if you think

00:10:48.680 there's another reason comment on the section below yes please yeah and if there's any other questions

00:10:52.680 that you want to ask me via sister fighting if there's any sister related we're doing have a vote

00:10:58.680 we're going to start an episode called ask Ali no problem yeah call it ask Ali no problem

00:11:04.680 you can basically sisters if there's a question that you would like sister Fatima to ask me

00:11:07.680 or even brothers no problem just ask and sister Fatima to say look this is where the question

00:11:11.680 and we can ask you maybe it can be serious but yeah I think society is changing

00:11:15.680 yeah so yeah that's what I would say

00:11:17.680 yeah okay no thanks for that question

00:11:19.680 thank you

00:11:20.680 no problem

00:11:21.680 thank you

00:11:22.680 thank you
