00:00:00.000 This Qur'an burner, yesterday he passed away.
00:00:06.260 One of the Qur'an burners has died.
00:00:09.980 Or should I rephrase that and say he has taken his own life?
00:00:13.300 This Qur'an burner in the picture, it's a Qur'an burner that is living in Norway.
00:00:19.780 Yesterday, in the age of 42, he passed away.
00:00:23.780 This picture on the screen is from the 26th of November, when he was trying to destroy our Daewa stand in Oslo, in Norway.
00:00:34.120 They get depressed and they don't want to live anymore, and in the end, they take their own lives.
00:00:40.240 One of their friends who joins them on these campaigns has taken his own life.
00:00:45.640 Now, the question that needs to be asked is, brothers and sisters, what leads one to this path of finding no way out by taking their own life?
00:00:55.280 Brothers and sisters, it is only by the remembrance of Allah that our hearts find peace.
00:00:59.880 These people who are living in this lifestyle where they are not happy and content,
00:01:05.360 and that's the reason, maybe the reason, that they are spewing so much hate,
00:01:09.560 that their lives are not going the way they wanted it to be,
00:01:12.840 because they do not remember their Lord.
00:01:15.580 And on top of that, instead of seeking guidance and saying, you know what, I'm not happy.
00:01:20.040 Maybe Islam is the truth. 1.00
00:01:22.120 What they say, no, over my dead body.
00:01:25.500 I will not submit to Islam. 1.00
00:01:27.920 If only they stopped listening to the media lies and the propaganda,
00:01:32.820 and if only instead of burning the Qur'ans, they chose to open it,
00:01:37.660 they would have maybe get some guidance and seek some guidance from the Qur'an.
00:01:43.440 If only they put their grudge and their hatred to a side that consumes their very own self.
00:01:48.640 When they burn these Qur'ans, they are burning their guidance with it. 0.98
00:01:52.380 Because they are showing that they do not want to learn.
00:01:54.940 They do not want to know.
00:01:56.380 They are stubborn and in their own ways.
00:01:58.640 As Muslims now, we can say, you know what, rejoice.
00:02:01.660 Sometimes it's sad.
00:02:03.440 Sometimes to see someone with such hatred,
00:02:06.580 that they had to resort to nothing but to take their own life.
00:02:10.520 We hated him for the sake of Allah to his actions.
00:02:13.660 But we expected and wanted guidance for all.
00:02:16.800 But we know our Lord knows better than us.
00:02:19.320 And he knows who deserves what.
00:02:21.400 That's the reason why, brothers and sisters,
00:02:23.180 the more they burn Qur'ans, the more we print Qur'ans. 0.99
00:02:26.920 The more we do Dawah more. 0.98
00:02:28.160 The more we reach thousands, if not millions of people.
00:02:30.720 And thousands and millions of people come to Islam.
00:02:32.720 And on top of that, we try to help build a masjid in Norway. 0.64
00:02:36.380 Which you guys know, the campaign we've been running for the past two years.
00:02:39.080 To help establish that.
00:02:40.380 And we are going to visit ourselves.
00:02:42.300 Me, myself and the team.
00:02:43.540 Going to go and show you guys what's been going on.
00:02:45.860 They've bought the land.
00:02:46.880 They've bought the place.
00:02:47.700 And they are renovating it as we speak, inshallah.
00:02:50.200 Please donate to that.
00:02:51.520 The point I'm going to say is this.
00:02:52.600 And I'm going to end on this.
00:02:53.320 I don't want to talk too much.
00:02:54.740 A lot of non-Muslims use the verse Surah Tawbah.
00:02:56.700 Surah Tawbah is seen as a verse or a chapter all about war.
00:03:02.300 Not really.
00:03:03.560 Yes, of course it is.
00:03:04.980 But the point is what, brothers and sisters?
00:03:06.900 The point is the following.
00:03:08.500 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala did not send Surah Tawbah first.
00:03:11.340 Surah Tawbah came later on.
00:03:13.440 And you know why?
00:03:14.360 Because Allah sent her guidance over guidance. 0.83
00:03:16.940 Warning over warning.
00:03:18.140 That's why Allah says, 0.69
00:03:18.940 We do not punish a nation until we send a messenger.
00:03:21.920 Allah uses one of his attributes.
00:03:23.560 He's got many names.
00:03:25.200 Yes?
00:03:25.820 And many attributes.
00:03:27.200 But Allah specifically uses his name.
00:03:29.900 Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
00:03:31.960 Allah the most merciful.
00:03:33.560 The very merciful.
00:03:34.880 Yes?
00:03:35.720 So the point is what?
00:03:37.220 Allah uses this. 0.68
00:03:38.600 Allah uses his mercy.
00:03:40.340 To show you that turn to him.
00:03:42.760 Do not despair his mercy.
00:03:44.500 Only in one chapter.
00:03:45.900 He does not start the chapter with Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim.
00:03:49.180 But he goes straight to say the following.
00:03:51.300 And here is why.
00:03:52.760 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
00:03:54.580 This is a declaration of disassociation from Allah and his messenger 0.97
00:03:58.320 to those whom you have made a treaty among the polytheists.
00:04:00.940 So travel freely or disbelievers throughout the land during four months 1.00
00:04:07.140 but know that you cannot cause failure to Allah
00:04:09.340 and that Allah will disgrace the disbelievers. 0.99
00:04:11.180 And it is an answer from Allah and his messenger
00:04:14.640 to the people of the day of the great pilgrimage
00:04:16.920 that Allah disassociates from the disbelievers 1.00
00:04:19.820 and so does his messenger.
00:04:21.900 So if you repent, that is best for you.
00:04:24.180 But if you turn away,
00:04:25.340 then know that you will not cause failure to Allah
00:04:27.580 and give tithing to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment
00:04:32.220 except are those who you made a treaty among the polytheists
00:04:36.180 and then they have not been deficient towards you in anything
00:04:39.040 or supported anyone against you.
00:04:40.340 So complete for them the treaty until their term has ended.
00:04:46.020 Indeed, Allah loves the righteous.
00:04:48.220 And when the inevitable months have passed,
00:04:51.680 then it says wage war.
00:04:54.140 Now the point is the following.
00:04:55.960 The point is that these verses came later on.
00:04:59.440 It talks about the polytheists,
00:05:00.740 it talks about the Christians and it talks about the Jews.
00:05:02.340 But if you look and notice,
00:05:04.940 for years on end,
00:05:07.300 Allah and his messenger has been calling for peace.
00:05:10.180 Stop persecuting us.
00:05:11.480 We are just saying that we worship God and God alone.
00:05:13.860 Stop persecuting us.
00:05:15.020 Gave them chance over chance,
00:05:16.560 chance over chance,
00:05:17.520 chance over chance,
00:05:18.680 over and over again,
00:05:19.820 until,
00:05:20.360 and if it was anyone else,
00:05:23.040 any other nation,
00:05:24.620 any other group of people,
00:05:26.320 they would even,
00:05:27.240 they would have implemented this way before.
00:05:29.960 So even this is a mercy
00:05:32.420 that's saying that enough is enough.
00:05:36.000 But if we look at it from the sense
00:05:37.740 that God Almighty has given this person,
00:05:40.700 and many people like him,
00:05:42.020 chance over chance,
00:05:43.500 change your ways,
00:05:44.680 learn,
00:05:45.880 guidance,
00:05:46.320 and when they act with nothing but hostility,
00:05:51.300 then indeed Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's punishment 0.95
00:05:53.540 will come in this life and in the hereafter.
00:05:56.920 That's all I want to say.
00:05:58.860 And we ask Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala 0.71
00:06:00.460 to make us amongst those who are just.
00:06:04.360 And make us among those who seek the truth
00:06:06.980 and get rid of this stubbornness and this grudge.
00:06:10.700 Instead of burning Qur'ans, 0.98
00:06:12.500 open it.
00:06:13.540 Open it and read it with an open mind
00:06:15.740 and say maybe the truth is here.
00:06:18.140 And if you don't,
00:06:19.500 indeed you deserve a painful punishment.
00:06:22.580 And like they say,
00:06:24.080 instead of questioning
00:06:25.120 if Allah is the most merciful,
00:06:27.440 why would he put people on the fire?
00:06:29.280 Rather ask yourself this question, 0.98
00:06:31.100 what kind of a wretched person you was 0.99
00:06:33.540 that you went past 0.99
00:06:34.720 and avoided all of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala's mercy 0.83
00:06:37.600 and all of his guidance
00:06:38.660 and chose hellfire.
00:06:40.740 Continue donating to the Norway Masjid,
00:06:42.220 and allow us to turn the hostility and the hatred
00:06:45.160 these people have innately
00:06:46.520 that consume themselves
00:06:47.740 to do something positive
00:06:49.360 for humanity at large.
00:06:51.520 Till next time.
00:06:52.560 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
