Ali Dawah - REACTING TO MUSLIM KICKED OUT OF MOSQUE

00:00:00.000 We say there's no God but all the love

00:00:16.460 And Mohammed is his final messenger 0.99

00:00:19.660 The ones on thee know it's a sacrifice

00:00:23.960 But it's a small price to pay for all the rewards

00:00:28.320 We'll get from my love

00:00:32.160 Inshallah

00:00:33.760 They want to know about Islam 1.00

00:00:36.000 We'll give them dawah 1.00

00:00:37.560 Brothers and sisters, welcome to the house. What is the house?

00:00:42.740 This is a brand new show that's introduced by or presented by the Salaam Studios, inshallah

00:00:47.080 Where we will be discussing very light topics

00:00:49.500 This is like a little chill out room if you can say, do you get what I'm trying to say?

00:00:51.480 We'll be doing reaction videos here, we'll have guests over

00:00:53.720 We'll have group discussions where we have different audiences, inshallah

00:00:56.680 Who'll be coming and joining us, so this specific theme here is a chill out, relaxed environment

00:01:01.240 Today bro, what happened is basically, I was on, not today, I was on Instagram about a couple of days ago

00:01:05.260 And I saw something really disturbing

00:01:06.340 Where did you see this?

00:01:07.620 I didn't watch it in full, there's a brother who's on Instagram, he does reminders from New York

00:01:11.800 And I saw something very abnormal where he looks like he's ripping a shirt

00:01:15.400 And I was thinking like, you know sometimes you get brothers who do good stuff and then all of a sudden they do a flip

00:01:19.640 So I was thinking like, what's going on with this brother, because I like some of the stuff he's doing

00:01:23.180 So I got a gist off it, because he's saying something about his tattoos, but I didn't watch it in full

00:01:27.900 Let's watch it, and tell me what you feel

00:01:29.980 This is the first time

00:01:30.740 This is the first time you've seen it, with me personally, I haven't watched it in full

00:01:33.100 So what we're going to do is we're going to watch it, inshallah, yeah

00:01:34.500 Okay

00:01:35.000 Okay, let me just hold him up, here we go

00:01:37.180 I'm not a Muslim because I have tattoos

00:01:45.020 What they look like

00:01:46.320 What they look like, it's his face

00:01:48.240 It's him, get off me, get off me

00:01:50.720 It's him

00:01:51.480 I'm not a Muslim 1.00

00:01:53.080 Shit 0.98

00:01:54.000 He said I'm not a Muslim because I have tattoos 1.00

00:01:56.740 He said I'm not a Muslim because I have tattoos

00:02:00.340 Wallahi

00:02:02.320 In my own, in my own community

00:02:04.320 In my own community to say this about me

00:02:07.320 Because I have tattoos

00:02:09.320 Fear Allah

00:02:11.320 Fear Allah

00:02:13.320 Fear Allah

00:02:14.320 I'm not a Muslim because I have tattoos

00:02:17.320 Look how jahid this person is 1.00

00:02:19.320 That's jahid wallahi

00:02:21.320 Wallahi

00:02:22.320 You have

00:02:23.320 Okay

00:02:24.320 The video is very short, yeah?

00:02:26.320 But, I don't know, what's your take on it?

00:02:28.320 Like, when you saw that?

00:02:30.320 To be honest with you, I feel sorry for the brother in many ways

00:02:33.320 Because, like, obviously he seems very emotional

00:02:35.320 Someone's told him that he's not a Muslim

00:02:38.320 Because he has tattoos

00:02:40.320 And so he's obviously switched

00:02:43.320 And these things

00:02:44.320 And obviously, I don't know if he's a reaver 0.97

00:02:46.320 Or what the situation is

00:02:47.320 Or a convert, or whatever

00:02:48.320 And he's become Muslim 0.68

00:02:50.320 Because that's the thing

00:02:51.320 Like, obviously, if someone becomes Muslim 0.99

00:02:53.320 And they've got tattoos from a previous life

00:02:55.320 Yeah

00:02:56.320 How are you going to take them off?

00:02:57.320 So people do have to employ a kind of

00:02:59.320 Higher judgement

00:03:01.320 So especially now

00:03:03.320 Because a lot of people are coming into Islam 1.00

00:03:04.320 So obviously he's very angry about that

00:03:06.320 But I would say that at the same time

00:03:07.320 If someone says to you certain things

00:03:09.320 Like, you know what I'm saying

00:03:10.320 I wouldn't

00:03:12.320 Especially in the masjid

00:03:13.320 I would try and maintain a certain decorum

00:03:16.320 I think there's a little balance about it

00:03:18.320 Because you know what it is?

00:03:19.320 It's like

00:03:20.320 Somebody said this

00:03:21.320 It's not a quote, it's like a story

00:03:22.320 I went to a mosque

00:03:24.320 And I was kind of shunned

00:03:26.320 Because I was wearing something

00:03:27.320 I never went back

00:03:28.320 I went to a bar

00:03:29.320 And I spilled the alcohol

00:03:30.320 And the barman said

00:03:31.320 I'll give you another one

00:03:32.320 So the mentality that we get out of this

00:03:34.320 Is that for example

00:03:35.320 We

00:03:36.320 The house of Allah

00:03:37.320 Is not just

00:03:38.320 Because you know we get a lot of uncles

00:03:39.320 Elders 1.00

00:03:40.320 Where kids

00:03:41.320 Shhh

00:03:42.320 Don't talk

00:03:43.320 Don't do this

00:03:44.320 Is this what the masjid was really known for?

00:03:45.320 Is this where

00:03:46.320 For example that you be quiet

00:03:47.320 And then you're told this

00:03:48.320 And that

00:03:49.320 And that's why it's really sad

00:03:50.320 Because it shows that

00:03:51.320 Something really got to him

00:03:53.320 For him to say that

00:03:54.320 And I would

00:03:55.320 Like you said before

00:03:56.320 I would say for example

00:03:57.320 He's an old uncle

00:03:58.320 Whoever he is

00:03:59.320 And believe me

00:04:00.320 I've been to masjids 0.99

00:04:01.320 And I've been told stuff

00:04:02.320 Like from uncles

00:04:03.320 Where he's just like

00:04:04.320 But

00:04:05.320 I would say two things

00:04:06.320 He's right to be upset

00:04:07.320 However

00:04:08.320 In a masjid

00:04:09.320 And old uncle

00:04:10.320 Look let's say they're wrong

00:04:11.320 We know okay sometimes

00:04:12.320 You know when

00:04:13.320 They say to me look

00:04:14.320 When certain elders reach a certain age

00:04:15.320 They're like a child

00:04:16.320 They become like kids

00:04:17.320 Literally their psychology

00:04:18.320 They become more

00:04:19.320 They get hurt easily

00:04:20.320 And that's how it is

00:04:21.320 Calling someone a disbeliever

00:04:23.320 Is not tolerable

00:04:24.320 We know the hadith of it

00:04:25.320 Of course

00:04:26.320 Of course

00:04:27.320 Comes back to one of them

00:04:28.320 And it is ignorance

00:04:29.320 In a way where

00:04:30.320 The statement is

00:04:31.320 You know a jahil thing to say 0.83

00:04:32.320 But however

00:04:33.320 I

00:04:34.320 If I was personally

00:04:35.320 Me personally

00:04:36.320 I would be really hurt

00:04:37.320 And I would maybe walk out

00:04:38.320 But

00:04:39.320 Maybe he should not have done that

00:04:40.320 But in a nutshell

00:04:41.320 This is something that happens

00:04:42.320 Not just to this brother

00:04:43.320 But a lot of people

00:04:44.320 Some people come with an earring

00:04:45.320 We would automatically

00:04:46.320 We won't even ask him

00:04:47.320 Is the guy new revert?

00:04:48.320 Does he even pray salah?

00:04:49.320 Automatically

00:04:50.320 Oh brother

00:04:51.320 Why are you wearing an earring?

00:04:52.320 You know women wear it 1.00

00:04:53.320 Okay there's a way to advise about it

00:04:55.320 And I think this is really important

00:04:56.320 For us to address

00:04:57.320 Because a lot of people

00:04:58.320 Leave Islam 1.00

00:04:59.320 Because of this brother

00:05:00.320 I mean there's obviously

00:05:01.320 A hadith in Bukhari

00:05:02.320 About the man who was in the masjid

00:05:04.320 And he urinated inside of the masjid

00:05:06.320 Exactly

00:05:07.320 And there's

00:05:08.320 I'm not sure

00:05:09.320 I cannot remember

00:05:10.320 If it's a chapter heading

00:05:12.320 Actually

00:05:13.320 That Bukhari put 1.00

00:05:14.320 For this incident

00:05:16.320 Really?

00:05:17.320 The man

00:05:18.320 Tabawwala fil masjid

00:05:19.320 Yeah the man who urinated

00:05:20.320 You actually put a chapter on it?

00:05:21.320 I'm not sure yet

00:05:22.320 Don't quote me on it

00:05:23.320 It's possible

00:05:24.320 If we go back to it

00:05:25.320 But the idea is that

00:05:27.320 There was a man who came to the masjid

00:05:30.320 He urinated in the masjid

00:05:31.320 And the Prophet Muhammad

00:05:33.320 He had a lot of mercy with him

00:05:36.320 And he told his friends

00:05:37.320 To just put water over it

00:05:38.320 And to kind of

00:05:39.320 To leave him first of all

00:05:40.320 To continue

00:05:41.320 How was the reaction of the sahaba

00:05:42.320 Were they

00:05:43.320 The sahaba at that time

00:05:44.320 Were

00:05:45.320 They had an impulse

00:05:47.320 To react

00:05:48.320 So the Prophet

00:05:49.320 He calmed them down

00:05:51.320 And he told them

00:05:52.320 You know

00:05:53.320 Just calm down

00:05:54.320 And put water over it

00:05:55.320 He let him finish

00:05:56.320 Calm down

00:05:57.320 Put water over it

00:05:58.320 And these things

00:05:59.320 And the man was very

00:06:00.320 MashaAllah

00:06:01.320 Like he was very grateful

00:06:02.320 To Muhammad

00:06:03.320 And he made dua for him

00:06:05.320 And for himself

00:06:07.320 So the point is

00:06:08.320 This is a recurring theme

00:06:10.320 In the biography of the Prophet

00:06:11.320 Muhammad 0.63

00:06:12.320 The story of his life

00:06:13.320 Where

00:06:14.320 Where it's possible

00:06:15.320 To show mercy

00:06:16.320 He would show mercy

00:06:18.320 And that's what

00:06:19.320 Amr al-Khattab

00:06:20.320 He said one time

00:06:21.320 He says

00:06:22.320 When you

00:06:23.320 If you want to be a leader

00:06:24.320 You have to be

00:06:26.320 Layin

00:06:28.320 You have to be lenient

00:06:29.320 In other than weakness

00:06:30.320 So where it's not seen as weakness

00:06:31.320 Be as lenient as possible

00:06:33.320 Wow

00:06:34.320 That's quite interesting man

00:06:35.320 You know even like

00:06:36.320 For example

00:06:37.320 The man who came to the Prophet 0.96

00:06:38.320 Peace be upon him

00:06:39.320 He said this is his

00:06:40.320 Imagine you're coming to the Prophet of Allah 1.00

00:06:41.320 Yeah

00:06:42.320 Can you imagine this Fatham

00:06:43.320 Make zina permissible for me 1.00

00:06:45.320 Can you imagine

00:06:46.320 The Prophet of Allah

00:06:47.320 Revelation is being given to Allah 0.99

00:06:49.320 Imagine

00:06:51.320 Imagine

00:06:52.320 If this was done today

00:06:53.320 Actually I think 0.62

00:06:54.320 People would get killed

00:06:55.320 Yeah

00:06:56.320 And this is a wrong mentality

00:06:57.320 It is wrong to say that

00:06:58.320 But sometimes you need to understand

00:07:00.320 Don't just be reactional

00:07:01.320 Yeah

00:07:02.320 And I have this as well sometimes

00:07:03.320 You know you say knee jerk

00:07:04.320 Knee jerk reaction

00:07:05.320 Yeah I have that sometimes as well

00:07:06.320 But the other stuff

00:07:07.320 The issue here is that

00:07:08.320 We shouldn't

00:07:09.320 We should calm down

00:07:10.320 And I've learnt this a lot

00:07:11.320 There are certain people that reaction

00:07:12.320 I'm like if you just calm down

00:07:13.320 And I've done that with myself

00:07:14.320 When I calm down

00:07:15.320 Think things through

00:07:16.320 I do better decisions

00:07:17.320 Than doing it

00:07:18.320 Because in my country they say

00:07:19.320 If you stand up with anger

00:07:20.320 You sit down with the loss

00:07:21.320 Yeah

00:07:22.320 So that's why it's really important

00:07:23.320 Brothers and sisters

00:07:24.320 For us to understand

00:07:25.320 And have mercy to other people

00:07:26.320 You do not know what's going on

00:07:27.320 In their life

00:07:28.320 And SubhanAllah

00:07:29.320 Tattoos

00:07:30.320 Tattoos

00:07:31.320 Calling someone a kafir 1.00

00:07:32.320 Can you imagine a disbeliever 1.00

00:07:33.320 Yeah

00:07:34.320 But I would say it goes both ways

00:07:35.320 I'll tell you what I mean by that

00:07:36.320 Like Hosnul Dhan 0.89

00:07:37.320 Having good

00:07:38.320 Thoughts

00:07:39.320 Assumptions about someone

00:07:40.320 It goes both ways

00:07:41.320 So that guy shouldn't have assumed

00:07:43.320 That this guy was a non-Muslim 1.00

00:07:44.320 Because he associates

00:07:46.320 Non-Muslims with tattoos 1.00

00:07:47.320 Exactly

00:07:48.320 That could have been

00:07:49.320 That could have been a genuine

00:07:50.320 Sincere mistake

00:07:51.320 That oh is this guy a non-Muslim 1.00

00:07:52.320 In the masjid

00:07:53.320 I didn't see what happened before

00:07:55.320 Do you know what I'm saying

00:07:56.320 But at the same time

00:07:57.320 This brother here should have said

00:07:58.320 No listen

00:07:59.320 You know I'm a Muslim

00:08:00.320 But I became Muslim

00:08:01.320 I mean it should have been

00:08:02.320 From both sides in my opinion

00:08:03.320 Do you know what I'm saying

00:08:04.320 Both should have

00:08:05.320 That reaction in the masjid 0.91

00:08:06.320 I don't endorse it

00:08:07.320 I can't say that

00:08:08.320 Shouting in the masjid

00:08:09.320 There's something which is permissible

00:08:11.320 Or allowed

00:08:12.320 Even if someone by the way

00:08:13.320 You know does something

00:08:14.320 To take away from your rights

00:08:15.320 Yeah

00:08:16.320 You know and that's something

00:08:17.320 That happens all the time

00:08:18.320 At least have respect for the masjid 1.00

00:08:20.320 Not to shout and scream in that way

00:08:21.320 In the masjid

00:08:22.320 We'll assume the best in the brother

00:08:23.320 It was wrong of what he's doing

00:08:24.320 And the same I think

00:08:25.320 Both were wrong

00:08:26.320 Yeah

00:08:27.320 Brothers and sisters to be honest

00:08:28.320 That's about it

00:08:29.320 We just wanted to watch this video

00:08:30.320 And gain some benefits from it

00:08:31.320 Because as you guys know

00:08:32.320 Especially the house

00:08:33.320 This film that we have here

00:08:34.320 And the reaction videos that we do

00:08:35.320 We don't just do it

00:08:36.320 Just to show you and say

00:08:37.320 Oh wow

00:08:38.320 It's actually to benefit from this stuff

00:08:39.320 And that's what we're going to be doing

00:08:40.320 And you know what actually

00:08:41.320 There's going to be a lot of

00:08:42.320 Something serious coming up

00:08:43.320 About Tazkiyah inshallah

00:08:44.320 Which we're going to do

00:08:45.320 In a bit of a unique way

00:08:46.320 Which you guys

00:08:47.320 Some people are going to

00:08:48.320 It might be a bit controversial

00:08:49.320 Actually you know that

00:08:50.320 There will be I'm sure

00:08:51.320 There's going to be no eyes on it

00:08:52.320 But inshallah it's going to be
