00:01:38.940 Because it shows you environment has a key factor in these things.
00:01:43.420 Because this is what he said.
00:01:44.340 Let's read for ourselves, inshallah, brothers and sisters.
00:01:45.860 Yeah?
00:01:46.300 So, this is what he said.
00:01:48.580 Walid Abdullah reveals surprising insight on Cristiano Ronaldo's potential conversion to Islam.
00:01:53.780 In the heart of Saudi Arabia, where football and faith intertwined, whispers have begun to circulate about Cristiano Ronaldo's spiritual journey.
00:02:04.040 Marrakech, Walid Abdullah, the former goalkeeper of Al-Nasar, has made some striking statements regarding superstars Cristiano Ronaldo, the team's captain, and the possibility of his conversion to Islam.
00:02:17.440 Speaking as a guest on the program, Al-Hissa Al-Akhira, Abdullah confirmed long-standing rumors about Ronaldo's openness to converting, citing his clear integration and adaptation to the Saudi Arabian culture.
00:02:31.780 Ronaldo genuinely wants to convert to Islam.
00:02:36.700 I spoke to him about it, and he expressed interest.
00:02:39.580 He has already prostrated in the field after scoring, and has always encouraged the players to pray and follow Islamic religious practices, said the former Saudi international.
00:02:50.280 Abdullah went on to explain that Ronaldo has taken a deep interest in local culture, especially Islam and its practices, in order to better respect and understand his Muslim teammates.
00:03:01.040 Demonstrating a great deal of kindness towards the Portuguese star, towards them.
00:03:07.800 The Portuguese star has ensured that his teammates have time to pray between training and training sessions.
00:03:13.960 Abdullah shared more insights into Cristiano Ronaldo's growing interest in Islam, revealing how the superstar has shown respect for Islamic practices since his arrival in Saudi Arabia.
00:03:24.440 And we all know that he's always had that before, from the get-go.
00:03:28.000 Okay, when the call to prayer sounds during training, Ronaldo asks the coach to pause the session until it finishes.
00:03:34.280 Look at the respect he has, subhanAllah. 1.00
00:03:35.740 Abdullah explained.
00:03:36.620 In the beginning, I was close to Cristiano because he wasn't familiar with the country's culture, the club, or other aspects.
00:03:42.020 He was curious and often asked me questions about certain details.
00:03:45.120 According to Abdullah, Ronaldo has always been interested in converting to Islam before his move to Al-Nasr in the winter of 2023.
00:03:53.380 Reports suggested that his former Real Madrid teammate Masud Ozil, which is a Turkish Muslim individual, and Kareem Benzema, I think he's Moroccan, had tried to convince him to becoming a Muslim.
00:04:04.560 The former Al-Nasr goalkeeper pointed out a particularly telling moment when Ronaldo prostrated in the field after scoring.
00:04:12.400 All the players shouted, Allah wakbar, in union.
00:04:15.660 However, Abdullah added to Al-Hissa Al-Akhira that regardless of whether Ronaldo decides to embrace Islam, his discipline and commitment as a player are unquestionable.
00:04:25.300 He is extremely disciplined and dedicated player, and it's the discipline that has brought him to this position, he said.
00:04:31.280 Abdullah also spoke about Ronaldo's humility.
00:04:33.500 Nothing but nothing that both, sorry, noting that both he and his son behave in simplicity and warmth towards others.
00:04:43.100 Anyone who comes to Saudi Arabia appreciates him and feels comfortable with him, he added.
00:04:47.540 Now guys, subhanAllah, isn't that amazing? Isn't that profound, subhanAllah?
00:04:51.660 And you know there's key factors in this, which is what?
00:04:53.960 Your surroundings.
00:04:55.040 Like wherever you are, hearing the adhan, seeing the people, people look at your actions, bro.
00:04:59.440 I have non-Muslim family members.
00:05:01.200 People look at your actions, they don't care about what you can recite, how good you speak, how much you can call.
00:05:05.980 They don't care what you wear, foe, beard, niqab, jilbab means zero to them. 0.99
00:05:11.040 Because the moment they see a niqab, and I'm saying, you know, whoever it is for that matter, or a brother in a foe, et cetera, make a mistake. 1.00
00:05:17.420 What do they say? Ah, there you go.
00:05:19.060 This is the problem, guys.
00:05:20.240 So it's so important for us to make sure.
00:05:23.000 I know we're not perfect, but at least don't do certain stuff.
00:05:25.500 You're wearing a jilbab, hijab. 1.00
00:05:27.200 Don't go sitting on men's laps. 1.00
00:05:28.600 Don't be kissing guys.
00:05:29.580 I don't give it to your husband.
00:05:30.460 Yeah, okay.
00:05:31.160 If you're a brother, you know, you've got a, you know, in a foe, et cetera, you don't really see this, you know, moving around with girls. 0.97
00:05:37.480 But I don't know, whatever you're doing, smoking, drinking, whatever the hell you're doing, brother, you're a representation. 0.92
00:05:42.200 Yes?
00:05:42.640 Your uniform plays a big role.
00:05:44.440 This is very important.
00:05:45.220 And not only that, what does Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala say in the Quran in Surah Baqarah?
00:05:48.160 Allah says in Surah Baqarah, five beautiful verses that I want to read to you guys, brothers and sisters, yeah?
00:05:53.520 Allah says in the Quran, Surah Baqarah, a'udhu billah min ash-shaytanir-rajim, bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
00:05:58.780 Alif lammim
00:06:36.680 Now, what does Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala say in the Quran?
00:06:40.200 Alif la ameem
00:06:40.820 Yep, this is the book, there is no doubt about it.
00:06:44.340 A guide for those who are mindful of Allah, who believe in the unseen, establish prayer and donate from what we have provided for them
00:06:53.920 And who believe in what has been revealed to you, O Prophet, and what was revealed before you
00:06:59.960 And have sure faith in the hereafter
00:07:02.240 It is they who are truly guided by the Lord and it is they who will be successful, brothers and sisters
00:07:08.060 So, subhanAllah, this is a message, inshallah, for you guys and also to Ronaldo
00:07:12.120 If he accepts Islam, make to offer him 1.00
00:07:13.720 And subhanAllah, brothers and sisters, if you are watching this, if you are not a Muslim
00:07:16.840 Islam is open to anybody
00:07:19.200 We are not like Judaism or whatever it is that you need to strip protocols, you can't be a Jew, whatever 0.91
00:07:24.300 As a Muslim, it is open for everybody, especially the sinners 1.00
00:07:28.680 Especially the sinners
00:07:30.000 It is for them to purify their hearts
00:07:32.060 It is for them and they are truly successful and they are the ones that are truly guided
00:07:35.060 If you are watching this and you want to embrace Islam, do not let it stop you
00:07:37.860 I accepted Islam 11 years ago
00:07:39.860 Yes, after doing like 14 years before that, I was doing, well 14 years ago
00:07:44.660 About two and a half years, three years looking into the religion
00:07:46.960 So, brothers and sisters, if you are watching this, if you are close to Islam, embrace it
00:07:50.920 And we ask Allah subhanAllah to guide Ronaldo
00:07:53.280 Because the Prophet Muhammad would always go for people of influence and give them dawah 0.99
00:07:58.580 Can you imagine the impact of Ronaldo coming to Islam, what it could do?
00:08:02.600 So, brothers and sisters, this shows us that our character, the way we behave is dawah
00:08:07.000 So, Ronaldo is observing this in Saudi Arabia, he lives there, he is observing this
00:08:11.740 And I believe this plays a key factor
00:08:13.780 And not only that, you can see the goodness in his heart
00:08:16.600 Just imagine what kind of an amazing person he would be further by accepting Islam
00:08:21.840 And just to note, brothers and sisters, somebody might look at Ronaldo and say, look, he does goodness, etc
00:08:26.200 But the greatest goodness is the one that has and fixes his relationship with God Almighty
00:08:30.400 And believes in Allah and the final messenger
00:08:32.420 And the Prophet ﷺ, and accepts Islam, inshallah
00:08:34.600 Other than that, we believe that anyone who could be a saint in the world to everybody
00:08:39.300 But does not accept Islam, knowing, knowing, knowing, this is the condition 1.00
00:08:42.720 Knowing Islam is the truth, he will enter the fire 1.00
00:08:45.060 And that is our religion
00:08:46.120 Because the one who knows Islam is the truth and doesn't accept it 1.00
00:08:49.080 Shows that he is taking his desire, like Allah says in the Quran
00:08:51.520 Have you seen the one who takes his desire as his own good?
00:08:55.360 So, for those who are watching, make the offer Ronaldo
00:08:57.520 I believe we are going to get the news, inshallah, of him accepting Islam
00:09:00.500 May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala guide him 0.82
00:09:01.740 Islam doesn't need him, rather he needs Islam 1.00
00:09:03.800 It's just we are happy that someone like him
00:09:05.600 Who has an amazing heart, who has done a video for the Syrians, for the Palestinians
00:09:08.960 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala will guide him, brothers and sisters
00:09:11.240 And I'll end on this note
00:09:12.280 Anytime you have goodness in your heart
00:09:14.060 And you do this stuff, brothers and sisters
00:09:15.780 Where you try to good to other people and whatever it is for that matter
00:09:18.120 When Allah sees goodness, that's what Allah says
00:09:20.320 We do not guide the wrongdoing people
00:09:22.640 So, when you have goodness in your heart
00:09:24.620 Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sees that
00:09:26.320 And give in charity, do good stuff
00:09:28.340 Allah will guide you
00:09:29.300 And I believe this plays a key factor, inshallah, in Ronaldo
