00:00:00.960 Just imagine the people back in the day when they would have to travel certain distances for months or even years.
00:00:06.560 What is one thing that they would carry with them?
00:00:08.980 The Quran.
00:00:10.080 Why? Because they did not have it on their mobile devices or their gadgets.
00:00:13.840 Brothers and sisters, imagine you have an app, the Qurani app,
00:00:17.360 which not only shows you how much rewards you get, but reminds you to read the Quran, gives you reminders.
00:00:23.820 Download the Qurani app now and let it testify for you on your maqiyamah that you read it wherever you were.
00:00:30.000 Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
00:00:38.620 Good to see you, all the brothers, mashallah.
00:00:45.480 I just came back from Mexico.
00:00:55.040 Did you do Mexico?
00:00:56.560 I was in Mexico last weekend.
00:00:58.580 Right now I'm in Canada.
00:01:00.000 Alhamdulillah, this is the life of a da'i. 1.00
00:01:02.060 You're always on the move.
00:01:04.460 In Mexico, we saw a place that really needed it.
00:01:08.620 We have a lot of brothers that have accepted Islam, a lot of them in remote areas.
00:01:14.160 Alhamdulillah, there are some good brothers down there that are putting work in, that are giving da'wah in the streets.
00:01:18.520 But at the same time, you know, a lot of the brothers, like when we went, the day we went, they had six shahadahs, alhamdulillah.
00:01:25.480 A lot of them, they didn't know how to read Surah Al-Fatiha.
00:01:28.420 They didn't know how to pray.
00:01:29.780 And we have maybe a couple of brothers that are knowledgeable that were teaching, you know, at least 20 people that are there, you know.
00:01:36.720 And then even amongst those brothers, a lot of them live in remote areas.
00:01:41.740 So when we went out there, alhamdulillah, we had an iftar at the masjid there.
00:01:45.960 A lot of the people came from faraway areas because they knew we were coming out.
00:01:49.700 But you'll see a lot of kids, alhamdulillah, they became Muslim.
00:01:52.660 They're the only Muslims in their family, you know.
00:01:54.980 And then when they go back to their remote areas, there's no masjid around them. 0.97
00:01:59.140 There's no Muslims around them. 1.00
00:02:00.760 So alhamdulillah, you know, this is why when I talked to you earlier about this project, I thought about Mexico and I thought about the need in other areas.
00:02:08.320 Even in America right now, we have a lot of people in very remote areas that are accepting Islam that don't even have a masjid in their city.
00:02:16.300 People right now, we know that are undercover Muslims. 1.00
00:02:18.760 You know, we have a brother right now in San Diego.
00:02:22.520 He's Mexican, 17-year-old brother, you know, got caught up in the wrong stuff, gang stuff.
00:02:28.940 You know, got caught up in some court cases and, you know, six attempts on his life.
00:02:36.200 And subhanAllah, I started watching a lot of our videos, especially a video about my life, how it used to be and how it changed.
00:02:43.140 And he decided to change and he talked to one of the brothers, alhamdulillah, and he took his shahada, came to the masjid.
00:02:50.640 But now he has to come to the masjid, like secretly, you know, because he can't even... 0.95
00:02:56.280 His family, who had to move because of, you know, the dangers that they were having with him getting shot at.
00:03:02.340 But still, they're not okay with him becoming Muslim.
00:03:05.600 So, you know, we brought up for Tarawid the other day.
00:03:08.800 He had to come secretly and he had to tell his family, I'm going to the store and he came.
00:03:13.260 So people like that, if we can get these kinds of prayer mats to him, it would be a great resource for him.
00:03:18.140 There was a revert sister who took her shahada with us about three years ago. 0.99
00:03:24.300 So what happened is, I can remember when we first launched the Salah Plus program, we were doing a Salah workshop.
00:03:29.240 So we got Sister Lauren Booth came, she was doing like a workshop for the sisters and the brothers.
00:03:33.160 We were just talking about Salah.
00:03:34.700 Anyway, Sheikh, on the day we were doing the Salah workshop, we nearly finished it.
00:03:39.520 Towards the end, it was like, it was around 9.30, 10pm.
00:03:42.400 He was going to start wrapping up.
00:03:44.060 Wallahi, Allah is my witness.
00:03:45.240 I had a phone call.
00:03:47.180 So I didn't know who it was from.
00:03:48.220 I didn't know what I saved the number.
00:03:49.340 So I picked it up and he was like, yeah, As-salamu alaykum, do you remember me?
00:03:52.440 I was like, no, I can't really remember.
00:03:53.880 He's like, I remember from Southend.
00:03:54.920 I was like, I can't remember.
00:03:55.840 He's like, remember that sister I came with?
00:03:57.420 And I said, la ilayla, I was looking for her number for two weeks.
00:04:00.540 He calls me on the day of the Salah workshop.
00:04:03.180 I said, Aki, I've been looking for you for two weeks, your number.
00:04:06.380 I didn't know what I saved you under, yeah?
00:04:08.160 So anyways, he goes, listen, she's in a bad place. 0.97
00:04:10.500 I said, what happened?
00:04:11.400 He's like, she's crying, et cetera.
00:04:12.620 I said, what happened?
00:04:13.480 He said, look, can we come and speak?
00:04:15.060 I said, listen, we can wait for you.
00:04:17.080 So it's an hour and a half journey.
00:04:18.240 We waited for them for one and a half hour.
00:04:20.000 She came and my wife was there.
00:04:21.960 Sister Lauren Booth was there.
00:04:23.440 She went and spoke to them.
00:04:24.260 You know what she said to them?
00:04:25.260 She said, since I've come to Islam, I stopped eating pork.
00:04:28.960 I stopped drinking alcohol.
00:04:30.180 I don't go clubbing.
00:04:31.260 Wow.
00:04:31.940 And we said, what's the problem?
00:04:33.020 She said, I feel empty.
00:04:34.140 She goes, I don't know.
00:04:34.960 I just feel empty.
00:04:36.140 Simple question we asked her.
00:04:37.460 We said, are you praying Salah?
00:04:39.700 She said, no.
00:04:41.100 And we said, subhanAllah, this is exactly the issue.
00:04:43.980 The Salah is the soul's food.
00:04:46.320 The dhikr of Allah is the soul's food.
00:04:48.780 If you starve it, of course, the body is saying, I need something.
00:04:52.560 It's the dhikr of Allah. 1.00
00:04:53.420 That's what Allah says in the Quran.
00:04:54.720 Only in his remembrance do hearts find peace.
00:04:57.280 And if you forget his remembrance, you have a depressed life.
00:04:59.560 So even though she was a Muslim, she was thinking not eating pork,
00:05:02.620 not drinking alcohol, not going clubbing.
00:05:04.800 It will feed the soul.
00:05:06.100 It wouldn't.
00:05:06.360 That might protect your body.
00:05:08.060 But the point is what?
00:05:09.280 Salah.
00:05:09.980 That's the reason why many aftercare issues, when people accept Islam, 1.00
00:05:13.740 how many of us have the time to teach them how to pray Salah?
00:05:16.600 I mean, if it's one person, Sheikh Othman, 0.94
00:05:18.220 you wouldn't have no problem teaching one person or five people.
00:05:21.500 But imagine a hundred people come to you and say,
00:05:23.220 Sheikh, there's a hundred of us.
00:05:24.900 Please teach us.
00:05:25.620 You're going to say, I can't do this.
00:05:27.820 So this is the reason why we have this program in place.
00:05:31.000 Especially people that are far away.
00:05:32.740 I mean, you know, so inshallah, before anybody else, 0.93
00:05:35.720 I'm ready to donate a thousand dollars of my own money, inshallah, to this program.
00:05:39.380 No way.
00:05:40.820 Allahu Akbar.
00:05:42.080 MashaAllah.
00:05:42.780 Safir. 0.65
00:05:43.660 You don't want to ask.
00:05:44.740 SubhanAllah.
00:05:45.340 I don't want to ask anybody else to do what I'm not willing to do.
00:05:48.200 So inshallah, a thousand of us online.
00:05:51.800 SubhanAllah.
00:05:52.720 We accept the currency of US dollars.
00:05:54.720 And we know Allah will accept, inshallah, that deed, inshallah, inshallah. 0.91
00:05:58.360 So a thousand dollars of my own sisters will help teach 166 to 332 people how to pray salah.
00:06:05.740 Let me tell you why.
00:06:06.820 I'm just going to go to a quick video, Sheikh.
00:06:08.580 If you just give us two minutes.
00:06:10.060 This is a story of an ex-Muslim and a new Muslim.
00:06:13.880 Now this ex-Muslim, he left Islam and then he came back to Islam. 1.00
00:06:18.500 Then he signed up to our program.
00:06:20.440 He relearned Surah Fatiha.
00:06:21.900 He relearned Wudu.
00:06:22.960 He relearned salah.
00:06:23.820 Then do you know what he did, Sheikh?
00:06:25.200 We gave him a guided prayer mat.
00:06:26.820 Do you know what he did with it?
00:06:27.900 He learned how to pray in six weeks.
00:06:29.920 He gifted this to his revert friend. 0.75
00:06:33.480 His friend is now learning how to pray with this, with his mat.
00:06:36.700 That he gifted to him.
00:06:37.960 May Allah bless you, Sheikh.
00:06:38.880 We're going to let you go because we know you need to go to the masjid. 0.70
00:06:40.880 We really appreciate it.
00:06:42.180 May Allah bless you.
00:06:42.980 I'll try to jump back on later, inshallah.
00:06:45.100 You owe me some Kurdish kebab, man. 1.00
00:06:48.260 Come on, send me location.
00:06:49.820 All right, inshallah.
00:06:50.900 As-salamu alaykum.
00:06:51.200 I'm going to be in the recent spot for this.
00:06:53.180 As-salamu alaykum.
00:06:54.840 Iетсяah.
00:06:55.860 I'm going to be in the nikыми. 0.98
00:06:58.640 We scientific history not only for us, but as we will see him that there are a business.
