00:00:00.000 average each patient that we're treating in this intensive care unit is costing 500 pounds so many
00:00:06.160 children have died unnecessarily because we doctors don't have the drugs and the equipment
00:00:12.240 needed to save them with your donation you will enable us to be able to save lives by the
00:00:17.520 permission of allah this app has been such a game changer to me i've never been so consistent with
00:00:25.520 my quran reading before i knew about quranly you can get quranly absolutely free no credit cards for
00:00:31.920 seven day free trial what are you waiting for download it now brown sisters and build a habit 0.62
00:00:36.800 with the quranly app right now just to reiterate so my question was if we lived in an island yes and
00:00:42.320 there was all vegans yes and i was a vegan yes and one day i happened to eat something which was me and
00:00:49.200 i went this is bloody amazing yes and i'm like where did this come from and i realized i don't know
00:00:52.720 how somebody was cooking and he said to me listen i'm staying away from this vegan yes yes i live in 0.93
00:00:58.560 the uh jungle and i eat meat join me and i'm like bloody of course i'm bloody joining this is bloody 0.85
00:01:02.880 amazing and they've been telling me okay so now the point would be that that would be an excitement to 0.95
00:01:06.720 violence saying let's not be vegan would be okay let's kill these animals so would you if i started
00:01:11.920 coming out to your gatherings yes and i said guys try this meat and tell me if it's bad yes would you 0.55
00:01:18.400 stop me uh so without getting too technical this is meat that's been that an animal has been killed
00:01:25.520 for it's not like roadkill or something like that unless i had no meat i just said i want to preach
00:01:29.360 that people should eat meat i think so i'm a bit of a free speech absolutist i guess things that we
00:01:35.600 should so we should go and kill these animals okay i'm saying i would i would say that that is not 0.57
00:01:40.400 defensible free speech that's a direct incitement of violence okay so again not as bad it's it's on the 1.00
00:01:45.360 same track so saying like let's go and kill these peoples over here let's go and kill these animals 0.89
00:01:49.600 over here it's still wrong but it's nowhere not as bad okay so therefore if i made an argument 0.99
00:01:54.800 intellectually and i said yes these are the top five reasons we should eat meat yes okay for example
00:02:00.720 if i realize that we're stronger argument's sake okay we can do more we can produce more yeah it's
00:02:06.640 going to be better for our greater community argument's sake well none of that stuff is true
00:02:10.320 necessarily yes let's say it was so would you allow me to preach to the masses and when you
00:02:16.160 start seeing your vegan friends come in and say hmm i have a point would there be a concern in your
00:02:22.160 mind of i need to stop this guy because otherwise it's going to make us all meat eaters it would be
00:02:27.920 a concern in a similar way that if you had someone who was convincing people to go and kill people
00:02:32.480 who's saying let's go i don't believe that's the same thing it's not it's not the same it's not as bad
00:02:35.840 don't get me wrong but it's in a like this would be a worse point if someone was saying right let's
00:02:40.240 go out and kill people and making arguments just to go and kill people i'd say that speech isn't 0.66
00:02:46.800 protected and that you should be sanctioned for that i don't think they should be killed for that 0.99
00:02:50.400 what would you do with me what would you what would you do with me uh i would give you a i think the
00:02:56.320 first thing i would do would be to give you a fine you know like again i'm not i'm not sure about
00:02:59.840 the legal punishment i know it's morally wrong no no you guys are ruling you guys in the ruling party
00:03:03.600 you are full control god as much as i want everyone to be vegan i'm not qualified to be
00:03:08.480 dictator no no no but what would you do you need to understand so so so let's say that so it's in
00:03:13.680 a similar if someone was going out now and saying let's kill people which again i think it's worse
00:03:17.440 than saying let's kill animals yes but that's but it's in about someone's going to say let's kill
00:03:22.080 people i don't think we should kill that person no problem i think we should do with me 0.81
00:03:25.440 no problem what would you do with me well in your eyes killing an animal is killing a human being
00:03:28.960 no problem again not not in the same not the same badness but on the same way i understand so
00:03:34.080 i'm saying you have someone indirectly yes promoting something which is severe to you
00:03:38.560 he's seen as an animal you're seeing it as yes close as killing a human yes what would you do to
00:03:43.360 stop his propaganda uh i wouldn't kill them no problem i i think what you would ultimately you'd
00:03:48.480 give him an incentive not to and since you'd punish him like a fine or something like we would do now
00:03:52.160 if someone was saying that with him publicly
00:03:54.000 no no no okay no problem no problem because another thing about punishment as well because
00:03:59.120 i don't believe in free will i don't think like you you punish for a deterrent's sake you don't
00:04:03.600 punish because they're a bad person okay no problem i just just say with this one i would take this
00:04:08.320 person yeah you'd you'd incentivize them not to like a fine or something yes if they carried on
00:04:13.360 you would have to stop their speech you'd have to lock them up this would be like we're doing now
00:04:17.600 with like preachers now who are saying we should go around and kill everyone like like you know
00:04:22.000 i i can't think of an example now but the people who encourage people to go and join isis good
00:04:25.680 good we lock them up because they're giving a direct assignment to violence brilliant and stop 0.96
00:04:29.120 their speech from being heard i don't think we should kill them brilliant you agreed with me on 0.69
00:04:33.440 something yes that the fact that i as a mediator will cause some kind of a corruption in society
00:04:39.520 which may lead to something which you deem to be greater than what it actually is but in your eyes
00:04:45.120 you believe it's close to killing a human being you will take measures and precautions to stop me from
00:04:50.000 that speech in islam when we look at a apostate yes we are not seeing by the way let me make it 1.00
00:04:56.720 very clear bounty hunting or uh what do they call that word when you go and hunt um apostate 0.90
00:05:03.280 what's there's word for vigilantism yeah yes it's not allowed in islam i can't go and be like oh
00:05:08.240 apostate whoa let's go hunting this is not permissible we are talking about an islamically run 1.00
00:05:13.040 government yes yes ruled by the sharia number one so as muslims for us somebody leaving their religion
00:05:20.880 is not the issue here the issue is the propagation because now you're according to your way which is 0.99
00:05:26.400 not going to just kill your soul but kill and kill your body but it's going to destroy the soul of 0.98
00:05:31.520 others and islam has come to protect this fighting islam has come for to protect the mind to protect the 0.99
00:05:36.960 wealth to protect the health to protect the lineage and protect the religion of uh people so when you
00:05:42.480 are having an outright attack and all of these things have major capital punishments when somebody
00:05:46.800 is coming and saying things which is um against islam abusing islam as as a muslim we have a right
00:05:56.240 to protect our community as a whole just the way you protect your community of veganism so we say that
00:06:02.480 this person doesn't want to be a muslim bye-bye leave the country look the world is vast see you 0.95
00:06:08.880 later if you're gonna come and say no i'm gonna carry on preaching islam has a capital punishment i see 0.87
00:06:15.760 and that to me is justified how this is not exclusive to muslims as a vegan i asked you a question you said 0.97
00:06:22.560 yes i will not give you the capital punishment i will put you in prison i'll be honest rotting in prison 0.97
00:06:27.520 for the rest of my life i think i prefer death so the point is this because the question is that islam 0.96
00:06:34.640 is not a blood-thirsty religion islam wants order and to protect the communal rights as a whole and 0.84
00:06:41.040 individual cannot come and say i want to drink alcohol that alcohol might cause you to drink drive
00:06:45.760 and kill five people yes you are not allowed to drink alcohol because your right is going to transverse 0.99
00:06:50.480 the right of others so what islam says is that we are here to protect our religion if you have left it 0.99
00:06:56.240 there's the door if you want to cause corruption here's a capital punishment so what would happen
00:07:01.840 then i'm trying to think now of some of the guys on youtube uh so i guess i and her sialli would be
00:07:08.080 the she's she's i don't even know if she was ever a muslim and her story she got kicked out of 0.99
00:07:12.160 netherlands because of a fake image story of how she was abused it got i don't know if you saw it
00:07:16.400 there was a documentary done yeah she got she lost a citizen but would she but if she proclaims to be 0.57
00:07:20.000 an apostate criticizes islam she would be killed under this sharia society look there is a capital 1.00
00:07:24.400 punishment but there's also for example ibn al-qayyim had a view which he used evidence from the
00:07:29.280 treaty of hudaybiya there was a treaty yeah that was done that for example if we have a
00:07:34.640 group of deportation yes yes exile exile but but if but in the world that you want to live in
00:07:40.640 i want to live in a vegan world you want to live in an islamic world so there's no there's nowhere to be 1.00
00:07:46.640 deported what would happen to like iron her sialli um i can't remember i think he's atheist
00:07:53.280 republic apostate prophet he doesn't even know how to recite the shortest verse in the quran so i
00:07:58.560 i'm not we have the question we have the question we have the question if you were
00:08:01.440 apologies for pushing his name people so the thing is capital punishment will be applied
00:08:05.600 to all of these uh vocal and we are proud of that i see you know why just as the way as a vegan you
00:08:13.120 would protect your community as a whole we as muslims are not asking for anything i guess for
00:08:18.400 me it's not about protecting vegans because i don't think that vegans are important and also we looked
00:08:21.920 at sorry sorry i need to go in a minute sure we looked at some ottoman statistics muhammad hijab
00:08:28.000 looked at the ottoman empire which moved for a significant amount do you know there was hardly
00:08:32.880 capital punishment applied in the first states there was imprisonment they looked at data so this is
00:08:39.040 the question is it's also is the decision of the ruler if the ruler says you know what you should
00:08:44.880 lock him up they'll be locked up but what i'm saying is what islam promote is not something 0.98
00:08:51.280 exclusive to us all groups of people being veganism judaism christianity islam every human being
00:08:58.960 has these regulations in place to protect it for example edward snowden what is edward snowden doing in
00:09:04.400 russia wikileaks what's his name julian assange the question what i'm saying is they all apply it
00:09:12.720 in different ways but john i have to go no no thank you very much it's been a pleasure it really was i
00:09:16.800 really enjoyed it so you've got a youtube channel yes my name is ali dawa yes ali dawa you can subscribe
