Ali Dawah - THIS IS WHY ANDY RUIZ LOST TO ANTHONY JOSHUA

00:00:00.000 Why did he do that? Because he mentioned in a press conference, he didn't listen to you, he didn't listen to Manny Robles, he's trying.

00:00:06.120 Like Imam Ahmed, may Allah have mercy on him, on his deathbed he was saying, not yet, not yet, and his sons asked him, why would you say that?

00:00:30.000 Before the video starts guys, check out our sponsors Nature's Blends, they specialize in premium Ethiopian black seed products, their products are fantastic health supplements and also from the sunnah, the website is in the description link below, you can also use the discount code SALAM10 for 10% of their products, what are you guys waiting for?

00:00:56.140 Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh brothers and sisters and dear friends, hope you guys are well inshaAllah, welcome to this video, we're going to be discussing the fights that happened between Anthony Joshua and Andy Ruiz, Ruiz or whatever his name is, yeah?

00:01:08.180 Now before I start, obviously I want to praise Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, the most merciful, the most just, I'll praise the glory and gratitude that belong to him.

00:01:13.100 Now, I want to make something clear, we know boxing is haram, it is not permissible to hit the face, because we know Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala made Adam, created Adam with his own hands, yeah?

00:01:24.420 The way that fits his majesty, not the hands that, our hands, yeah?

00:01:28.900 So, you know, we affirm that to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but anyway, so basically, that, that's just a disclaimer that I wanted to make, because I don't want to seem like I was glorifying this.

00:01:38.200 However, there were some very, very, very strong points, that this, this reminder is actually going to maybe change your life, it's very fundamental.

00:01:46.080 Reason why he lost, yeah?

00:01:48.460 This is very profound, I don't think anybody has come from this angle.

00:01:51.720 So, this is his father, look at what his father says, and we're going to connect this to us as Muslims, our reality, our life, and our tests, and our force that we have.

00:02:02.540 Let's listen, and we're going to learn some very key lessons.

00:02:05.820 What was it that he put on that extra, just over a stone, why did he do that? Because he mentioned in a press conference, he didn't listen to you, he didn't listen to Manny Robles, he's trying.

00:02:18.600 So, now, he's talking about that, he put on extra weight, which may have slowed him down, etc., he wasn't taking care of himself, etc., etc.

00:02:26.220 This could, we can relate with this, what I said, sometimes you need to ponder, like, things that you hear, whoever it may be, from Muslims on Muslims, sometimes you have to connect that to yourself and your religion and your hereafter.

00:02:34.600 He put on weight, that slowed him down.

00:02:36.840 Now, we know that we can connect this to ourselves, what, how?

00:02:41.860 Put on weight? Okay, we're not going to talk about physical weight.

00:02:44.320 Putting on sins.

00:02:45.920 What happens is, when we carry on putting these sins, what it does is, it has a black dot on the heart, and if these dots increase, the heart becomes hard.

00:02:54.680 And when it sees the truth, it does not recognize it, the haq, yeah? 0.95

00:02:58.960 It doesn't recognize it.

00:02:59.920 So, I take from this, when he says, if he didn't put on weight, if he didn't put on weight, he would have won in the ring, you need to see the ring as your fight against shaitan, yeah? 0.68

00:03:08.620 That's your fight against shaitan, you know?

00:03:11.500 So, over here, we can relate that to ourselves and be like, hold on a second, all these sins that we put on, so when we're doing sins constantly, constantly, constantly, how is it going to impact us?

00:03:21.960 Of course it's going to impact you in the wrong way.

00:03:23.800 Of course it is.

00:03:25.180 So, that's one thing.

00:03:26.340 Number two.

00:03:26.900 What was he not listening to?

00:03:30.940 What was he doing outside of boxing?

00:03:33.340 So, in the beginning, he said that he wasn't listening to his coach, he wasn't listening to you.

00:03:36.920 Look, we can connect with this.

00:03:38.340 It's not a comparison or an analogy.

00:03:41.000 That he wasn't listening, when we don't listen to Allah and his messenger, yeah?

00:03:45.680 Look, look, we can connect with Allah, this is amazing.

00:03:47.980 Think about it.

00:03:48.820 We didn't listen to Allah and his messenger. 1.00

00:03:50.680 If we don't listen to Allah and his messenger, we're going to fail.

00:03:53.560 We're going to fail the fight with shaitan. 1.00

00:03:55.100 Here, he's talking about his coach and himself.

00:03:57.660 But what I can take from that is my own life.

00:03:59.440 I'm like, okay, if I don't listen to Allah and his messenger in this specific aspect, I'm going to suffer.

00:04:04.380 That's number two.

00:04:05.140 He was not listening because he was, you know, the fame.

00:04:08.440 The fame came.

00:04:09.960 The fame came.

00:04:11.300 Now, this isn't something, an analogy, an example that we can take literally.

00:04:14.820 Why? Because when the fame gets to you, whatever you maybe do, the fame gets to you, it goes in people's minds.

00:04:22.320 It hits your head.

00:04:23.560 And you start thinking to yourself, yeah, I'm it, you know, I'm the one, etc.

00:04:28.100 And what you do is you tie your hope and happiness into that and you make that thing your everything.

00:04:33.060 And when the fame gets to you sometimes, sometimes you can be all over the place.

00:04:35.600 And we have seen that with many YouTubers, sadly, Muslims and non-Muslims, who themselves will get caught up in the whole scene. 0.95

00:04:44.040 And what happens is it all starts with Islamic videos. 0.63

00:04:46.460 And then you see it going down, music videos, girls, Zinnah, you name it.

00:04:52.740 And this is how she can get to you, fame. 1.00

00:04:54.820 That's number one.

00:04:55.460 And that's one of the reasons why Andy Ruiz, I'm sorry, I can't pronounce it.

00:04:59.840 Andy Ruiz, yeah, I'm going to call him Ruiz.

00:05:01.200 Andy Ruiz lost, yeah?

00:05:05.580 He was with Rolls Royce.

00:05:07.660 He was with his friend.

00:05:09.460 He was throwing parties.

00:05:12.080 Again, again, this can relate to our life.

00:05:14.820 The cars, the money, the friends, bad friends, the partying, the haram activities, etc.

00:05:22.680 Friends.

00:05:23.220 Allah says in the Quran, I think in Surah Fatir, if I'm not mistaken,

00:05:26.060 it talks about a story of a man who will be in Jannah and Allah will open a window for him to look into the hellfire.

00:05:32.180 And he will see his friends there.

00:05:33.520 And he will say, if only I did not stop hanging around with you, I was going to be in there with you.

00:05:39.980 So subhanAllah, brothers and sisters, look at that.

00:05:42.180 And then it comes back to the fame.

00:05:43.700 I mean, the cars, yeah?

00:05:46.180 You're just, you know, you're looking, you're amazed, etc.

00:05:48.220 And what's that doing is that that's diverting you from your focus.

00:05:51.560 Like Andy Ruiz, when he lost, what was his focus when?

00:05:55.160 Oh, I got the money, the car, brother, being one.

00:05:57.320 What happens is you go in your comfort zone.

00:05:59.700 You start to think you're untouchable, yeah?

00:06:02.040 Invincible, yeah?

00:06:03.500 And this is what Firaun.

00:06:05.060 Firaun said, I am God, I am God.

00:06:06.820 What made him think that?

00:06:07.740 Because he thought, I have all the power, I can do whatever I like.

00:06:10.040 Sometimes when you have money, the riches and all of that, you feel like nobody can touch you.

00:06:14.620 And it's good for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to humble you, inshaAllah. 0.58

00:06:17.960 And as you can see, as he lost the boxing match to Anthony Joshua, his focus was not in place.

00:06:23.340 And he was busy with these kind of stuff.

00:06:25.920 And this is brilliant.

00:06:26.920 Let's carry on.

00:06:27.480 Not listening to the kam, he was running by his staff. 1.00

00:06:34.160 Not listening to the kam, come on, what can we put in that place? 1.00

00:06:36.960 Quran and the sunnah. 1.00

00:06:38.400 Yes, you're not listening.

00:06:40.000 The Prophet ﷺ is saying something and you're like, no, I know what I'm doing, yeah, I know better. 1.00

00:06:43.900 Oh, some people reject hadith, no, I know better. 1.00

00:06:46.420 Arrogance, yeah?

00:06:47.380 Oh, this, I don't understand this hadith, that's why I'll throw it against the wall. 1.00

00:06:50.140 I don't want to listen to the Quran. 1.00

00:06:51.360 I know what I'm doing.

00:06:52.380 You think you know what you're doing.

00:06:53.740 And what happens is failure.

00:06:55.720 Failure hits.

00:06:56.200 Why? Because you're not preparing yourself.

00:06:57.760 You're not ready in any way, shape or form.

00:06:59.560 You feel your body with food.

00:07:01.080 Yes?

00:07:01.400 You feel your body with food.

00:07:02.140 You go to the gym, so your body is in good shape.

00:07:04.620 When it comes to the soul, you deprive it.

00:07:07.060 You give it no food.

00:07:08.080 And when it comes to problems which we're going to face, every single one of us, we're going to be tested.

00:07:12.180 When shaitan comes to you with an uppercut, bang, you're sleeping. 0.80

00:07:16.300 Why?

00:07:16.760 Because you wasn't ready for it.

00:07:17.760 You were too busy with somewhere else.

00:07:21.500 You know, we were in a house in Manhattan Beach.

00:07:24.600 That way he can come with us and stay in the house.

00:07:28.720 He didn't want to stay with us.

00:07:30.060 He wants to stay with his friend and try to run by his side.

00:07:35.000 It was a worse camp that he's been doing.

00:07:37.960 Brothers and sisters, Wallahi, look at this.

00:07:41.680 And we're not going to have anyone on the day of judgment say this to us except ourselves.

00:07:45.000 This is going to be us saying, you know what?

00:07:46.820 You didn't do this.

00:07:47.740 You didn't do that.

00:07:48.540 You got caught with this.

00:07:49.500 And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is going to tell us. 0.54

00:07:51.280 What did you do?

00:07:51.880 What did you prepare?

00:07:52.840 Yeah?

00:07:53.200 Was you preparing, you know, the camp?

00:07:55.340 Was you preparing?

00:07:56.480 Was you ready?

00:07:57.000 Because you was going to face shaitan.

00:07:59.240 This is your boxing ring.

00:08:00.600 This is the boxing match.

00:08:02.380 You're going to have your ups and downs.

00:08:03.340 I have my ups and downs.

00:08:04.420 I've had my lowest of the lows.

00:08:06.340 Yes?

00:08:06.840 And I'm going through stuff as well myself.

00:08:09.040 But this is your boxing match.

00:08:11.220 Your friends have to be the right friends.

00:08:13.000 The car that you drive, like, alhamdulillah, don't get caught up with it. 0.82

00:08:16.100 Yeah?

00:08:16.280 Like, oh, it has to be this, etc.

00:08:18.000 All these things, the camp that you're in, the stuff that you're reading, whatever you're

00:08:22.260 giving your body, it has to be halal. 0.95

00:08:24.700 Yes?

00:08:25.060 What you consume has to be halal. 0.94

00:08:26.280 Your actions should be halal. 1.00

00:08:28.160 Yeah?

00:08:28.340 Try your best.

00:08:29.400 Your companions, what you hear, what you hear should be halal. 1.00

00:08:33.040 And that is the reason why, brothers and sisters, when you go into that zone, what

00:08:36.680 happens is, Andy lost.

00:08:38.640 Why?

00:08:39.480 Because he put his guards down.

00:08:41.280 He was in a comfort zone.

00:08:42.540 And that's what shaitan does.

00:08:43.820 One of the reasons why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala does not tell us two things, the day 0.99

00:08:47.620 of judgment and when we're going to die, is because we'll be too comfortable.

00:08:50.700 If we were told, okay, you're going to die at 37.

00:08:52.880 Bro, I've got time to go, bro. 0.78

00:08:54.020 Let me go have fun.

00:08:54.820 And then, do you get what I'm trying to say?

00:08:56.820 That's the reason why Allah doesn't tell us the day of judgment and that. 0.81

00:08:59.340 Why?

00:08:59.680 Because we should be prepared.

00:09:01.060 You look around you and I've done another video which you guys can watch about the

00:09:04.320 rapper who passed away.

00:09:06.280 You see these rappers dying as well.

00:09:07.840 Anytime you can go, like Imam Ahmed, may Allah have mercy on him. 1.00

00:09:11.260 On his deathbed, he was saying, not yet, not yet.

00:09:13.680 And his sons asked him, why was you saying that?

00:09:15.580 He said, shaitan came to me in the form of a man.

00:09:17.620 And he said, Ahmed, you, you won, man.

00:09:21.040 You won.

00:09:21.800 And he was saying, not yet, not yet.

00:09:24.160 Why?

00:09:25.020 Because he was saying, I'm not done yet.

00:09:27.360 The moment my soul is taken, yes.

00:09:29.640 But I'm not putting my guards down.

00:09:31.220 Not yet, not yet.

00:09:32.320 Imam Ahmed, look at this beautiful narration that was narrated by his sons.

00:09:36.900 Look at the beauty.

00:09:38.380 Brothers and sisters, that's the reason why Allah doesn't mention our death and the day of judgment.

00:09:41.680 Why?

00:09:41.980 We have to be prepared all the time like a boxing ring.

00:09:44.860 Your guards have to be up.

00:09:46.680 Because shaitan is an enemy. 1.00

00:09:48.580 Take him as an enemy.

00:09:50.380 Take him as an enemy. 0.99

00:09:52.140 He hates your guts. 0.99

00:09:53.780 Take him as an enemy and fight him. 0.99

00:09:55.900 Be ready.

00:09:56.640 And how are you going to be ready?

00:09:57.820 Not, oh, when I, before I die, I'm going to say, la ilaha illallah.

00:10:00.000 No, no, no, no, no.

00:10:01.040 You need to make sure that you are prepared, equipped, well enforced.

00:10:07.160 Yes?

00:10:07.800 Well, you've got, you're ready.

00:10:10.700 When he comes, bang, bang, bang, bang.

00:10:12.560 You're ready.

00:10:13.000 You can absorb it.

00:10:13.800 But if you're not ready, just like Andy, yeah, got sparked.

00:10:17.140 Yeah, it got sparked in the face, fam.

00:10:18.460 Yeah, Andy, it sparked him.

00:10:19.780 Yeah?

00:10:20.440 By the way, I'm not glorifying it.

00:10:21.240 It was wrong. 0.59

00:10:21.800 But I'm saying, you're going to get hit.

00:10:23.460 And then what's going to happen?

00:10:24.760 Regrets.

00:10:25.440 Oh, I should have done this.

00:10:26.320 And this is good.

00:10:27.260 If you have gone through this and you realize and say, you know what?

00:10:29.760 I made this mistake.

00:10:30.440 This is beautiful.

00:10:31.580 This is like your coach.

00:10:33.540 Like, I would be, I'm not saying that Allah's names, et cetera, beautiful names belong to Allah.

00:10:38.160 Go back to Allah. 1.00

00:10:39.440 You go back to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, yeah? 0.96

00:10:41.680 And what do you do?

00:10:42.540 You get Allah and his messenger to prepare you.

00:10:45.760 You ask Allah for help.

00:10:47.040 You train in the camp.

00:10:48.360 You don't let these things distract you.

00:10:49.800 And then have yaqeen, certainty in the hereafter.

00:10:53.080 And have focus, yeah?

00:10:54.300 Nobody's saying don't have fun.

00:10:55.460 Be focused.

00:10:56.500 And when you're focused, inshallah, on the day of judgment, when you're there, you've knocked shaytan's spark out.

00:11:02.420 And inshallah, jannat al-furdaw sa'ala, then you can have your Rolls Royce, you can have your parties, you can have your friends, you can chill, you can fly, go into a chocolate river, whatever you want to do.

00:11:12.740 Brothers and sisters, I think this was a beautiful reminder for all of us.

00:11:15.920 And wallahi, it deeply resonated with myself as well.

00:11:19.040 May Allah bless you guys for watching this.

00:11:20.400 Also, do not forget to watch the video of why Anthony Joshua said Bismillah.

00:11:29.160 Watch that video as well, inshallah.

00:11:30.420 And do not forget to check Brother Smiles, the journalist channel as well.
