00:01:08.460 theirself a specific house where they want to get close to Islam and the Quran. Now, to
00:01:14.520 me, when I look at this, sometimes what happens is we see both as a contradiction or an oxymoron.
00:01:18.640 How could you be a transsexual Muslim or gay Muslim or, for example, and want to read the
00:01:25.340 Quran? I find this so troubling. Now, yes, we know Islam is very clear on certain matters.

00:02:21.060 whatever the inclination it might be, I do not believe that it is right for us to shun

00:02:48.940 as someone cross-dressing, et cetera, identifying as opposite gender. The point is this, that
00:02:53.480 the man came and said, make zina permissible for men. To the messenger of God. The Prophet
00:02:56.340 did not shun him. He said, get out of here. How dare you? I'm the Prophet of God. No.
00:03:01.080 He sat him down. He said, would you like that for your sister? He said, by Allah, I would never
00:03:05.720 want it for my sister. He said, would you like that for your mother? He said, by Allah,
00:03:08.900 I would never want it for my mother. What about your auntie? I would not want it for my auntie.
00:03:12.740 He made him reflect. He didn't shun him. The point I'm trying to make is this. If this
00:03:18.340 transgender woman, whatever it may be, he is someone that has memorized the Quran or whatever

00:03:41.100 may Allah curse you, the messenger of Allah stopped him. He said, don't say that. He loves,
00:03:45.140 indeed he loves Allah and his messenger. And he was in the Battle of Uhud and the Battle of Badr
00:03:50.660 and a few other places. What we're trying to say is that sometimes there are certain things Allah
00:03:54.860 tests us with. It can be our children. Put yourself in those shoes. Instead of shunning them,
00:03:59.420 it's important for us to bring them closer. If they are going and spending time together,
00:04:04.220 reciting the Quran, memorizing the Quran, yeah, why should we stop that? And like in this
00:04:10.080 documentary, it said that for example, there are some of them that think that they can't
00:04:13.160 even be a Muslim. This is wrong. We need Islam for them. They should be a Muslim. They should
00:04:17.660 practice. No matter what sin they're committing, they should practice. Yes, what they're doing
