And Allah knows, but Allah calls them both back.
00:00:03.960
He says, you, when you was going, why was you going so sloppy and looking back?
00:00:08.660
He said, oh Allah, I knew you to be the Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim.
00:00:15.360
He said to the second one, I said to you, go hellfire.
00:00:19.500
He said, oh Allah, I never obeyed you on earth.
00:00:33.060

00:00:48.020
We have a sister, Arjun and sister, you all right?
00:01:05.800
So basically, you had a question regarding, was it God's, you tell me.
00:01:18.600
Like not the punishment of, you know, like promising punishment.
00:01:24.180
But why would God go through with that when life is over?
00:01:30.260
There's no good to be gained from the punishment.
00:01:33.360
So, so is your question, for example, when the person dies or the creation comes to an end,
00:01:43.600
So, I understand in this life, you might be punished.
00:01:46.000
But now that you can't hurt anyone, like you can't do the same thing again.
00:01:52.060
So, you know, for example, the way we can answer this is, firstly, we need to understand who was
00:01:57.680
So, you said you define yourself as a Muslim, that you have a doubt.
00:02:11.280
It's good that you refer to yourself as a Muslim.
00:02:17.120
One of the reasons I came to Islam is because of that.
00:02:20.380
So, when we refer to Allah, we need to understand he's not just merciful and all good.
00:02:34.060
So, when a crime is committed, we tend to look at who he's committed against.
00:02:40.400
A crime that's committed, if I go and, or if somebody comes and kills a man, the punishment
00:02:46.200
for that, and that person killing a woman, or that person killing a child, or that person
00:03:01.480
If somebody goes and kills the queen, or the prime minister, it's not the same as killing
00:03:06.380
Even though in the sight of God Almighty, they're both human beings.
00:03:10.900
So, if somebody, it took someone 20 seconds to kill somebody, why are they going to end
00:03:26.020
So, even though the action may have been 20 seconds to kill, but the consequences of that
00:03:31.000
and taking that person from their loved ones, it could be in some states that they have capital
00:03:36.220
So, it depends who the crime is done against, how severe it is.
00:03:41.180
Now, we believe the worst thing in this world to commit is shirk.
00:03:49.120
Now, we can't fathom and understand that because we do not fully...
00:03:52.460
Most of the times, it comes from the lack of knowing who Allah is and knowing what he does.
00:03:57.800
Once we acknowledge and we fully can't who he is and what he does and how magnificent
00:04:03.100
he is, we will truly understand how evil shirk is.
00:04:06.880
So, for example, you have a mom and dad, right?
00:04:09.340
So, your mom and dad, and I'll give you an example a lot because it relates more, you
00:04:13.560
Your mom looks after you, brings you to this age.
00:04:20.380
How severe would you say that is, what you've done there?
00:04:40.280
If you beat your mom up, but you help everyone, are you good or bad?
00:04:48.880
But I would say, I would necessarily say, if somebody is evil to their mom, I don't
00:04:54.280
Because the evil that you're doing there, it doesn't matter if you're helping the entire
00:04:59.380
You're harming your mother who's giving birth to you.
00:05:09.560
But I think the issue is, like, let's say someone steals my bag, right?
00:05:13.900
Then I say, I want them to suffer in this life.
00:05:24.480
It says, I don't know what's happening in their life.
00:05:32.900
So, I can forgive the person who steals my bag.
00:05:37.520
I can forgive, maybe, I don't know, someone who's very perverted.
00:05:46.780
You find it difficult if you forgive a murderer?
00:05:53.780
The Prophet said, once he saw there was a war that happened.
00:06:00.500
The Prophet said, you see that woman there, and she lost a child.
00:06:06.420
Do you think that woman would put her child in the hellfire?
00:06:09.800
And the companion said, as far as we know, she's in her right mind.
00:06:15.580
He said, Allah is more merciful to his servants than that woman to their child.
00:06:19.140
So, and we also know from another hadith that the Prophet said,
00:06:21.640
Allah is more merciful 99 times, 100 times more merciful than a mother to their child.
00:06:27.700
Allah says in the Quran, what will I get out of punishing you?
00:06:31.120
So, Allah is saying, I don't want to punish you.
00:06:33.860
Because some people have a misconception that Allah is someone that wants to throw everyone to hellfire.
00:06:38.200
The default position is Allah wants Jannah for you.
00:06:42.100
However, when we compare someone stealing your purse or murdering someone,
00:06:46.000
and you say you'll forgive them, and Allah tells you to forgive them.
00:06:50.920
So, in a situation of murder, there's three conditions.
00:06:54.660
Somebody killed your brother, the person that done it has to be killed.
00:06:58.180
Or number two, there has to pay blood money or the family, you can forgive them.
00:07:08.520
Because, you know, you said, if I would forgive, if Allah says forgive them,
00:07:12.640
but he's not forgiving those and throwing them to hellfire forever,
00:07:18.200
Stealing and murder, we're comparing it with shirk.
00:07:21.260
And because we don't fathom shirk, we're saying, how could it be?
00:07:23.580
I'll forgive someone if someone stole my purse.
00:07:33.260
And somebody goes, somebody's child was murdered in front of them.
00:07:39.560
I just forgave someone for taking a penny from me.
00:07:41.440
And you don't forgive them for killing your child.
00:07:49.600
To them, their child was killed in front of them.
00:07:51.560
How can I go to that person and say, just forgive them.
00:07:58.500
Now, when it comes to shirk, sister, imagine murder.
00:08:01.780
Look, okay, what's the most disgusting thing that can we say that can happen?
00:08:20.480
Shirk is one billion times more wrong than that.
00:08:23.300
So, therefore, when Allah destines certain people to hellfire forever,
00:08:27.660
it's only the people, sister, listen carefully,
00:08:29.820
the ones who have disbelieved knowing that Islam is the truth.
00:08:39.500
But Islam is the only religion that says, sister,
00:08:41.900
if you, an atheist, an agnostic, a Hindu or Christian or any other religion,
00:08:50.580
You have a specific test the Prophet mentioned on the Day of Judgment.
00:08:55.440
How could Allah throw someone in hellfire when he says,
00:09:00.800
Allah will give you every opportunity to believe in Him.
00:09:04.160
But if you systematically reject that all the time,
00:09:07.640
then how is Allah unjust by throwing you hellfire forever?
00:09:12.020
Because Allah says, if He sends you to the earth,
00:09:16.800
So, you know, for example, with murderers, serial murderers,
00:09:19.940
because the government knows or the legal system knows
00:09:39.020
Allah says in the Quran, it's very interesting.
