Summary

Ron DeSantis and Gavin Newsom debate California Gov. Gavin's campaign has been heavily focused on California, but why is it that more Floridians are leaving California than any other state in the country, and why is that happening? In this episode, we take a deep dive into why California is losing population and why Florida is gaining ground in the governor's race. We also get a chance to hear Gavin's response to a question from CNN's Wolf Blitzer about why more people are choosing Florida over California and why it's a better place to live than California. We also hear from a Florida man who moved from California to Florida and why he thinks Florida is better than California, and how he thinks California should pay its fair share in taxes. And we get to the bottom line: California's taxes are higher than Florida's taxes, and Florida's are lower than California's...but there's a big difference between the two states and California's is much more progressive than Florida is about taxes and Florida is much less progressive than California is about to find out. What's the difference between California and Florida, you ask? The answer may surprise you...and we'll let you know. 00:00:00.000 We're good.
00:00:17.000 Ron DeSantis' record and the Republican Party's record as a point of contrast that's as different as daylight and darkness.
00:00:25.000 You want to bring us back to a pre-1960s world.
00:00:29.000 America in reverse.
00:00:32.000 You want to roll back hard-earned national rights, on voting rights, on civil rights, on LGBTQ rights, on women's rights.
00:00:38.000 Not just access to abortion, but also access to contraception.
00:00:43.000 Why is he making that face?
00:00:44.000 Oh my goodness!
00:01:08.000 That we have in common is neither of us will be the nominee for our party in 2024.
00:01:14.000 Governor, great opening statement, but it did not address the issue.
00:01:20.000 Can you explain this migration out of California and going to... You mean the last two years, more Floridians going to California than Californians going to Florida?
00:01:32.000 By the way, that's going to be fun to fact check.
00:01:35.000 So we'll just start right there.
00:01:36.000 California has no peers.
00:01:38.000 California dominates.
00:01:39.000 Size of 21 state populations combined.
00:01:42.000 It's the fifth largest economy in the world.
00:01:44.000 We dominate.
00:01:45.000 Number one manufacturing state.
00:01:47.000 We dominate in two-way trade and research and development.
00:01:50.000 Access to innovation.
00:01:51.000 More scientists, more researchers, more engineers, more Nobel laureates in the state of California than any other state in the nation.
00:01:57.000 The finest system of higher education.
00:02:00.000 It's the birthplace of life science and biotech and nanotechnology.
00:02:04.000 We dominate in green tech.
00:02:05.000 We dominate in high tech.
00:02:07.000 We dominate in artificial intelligence.
00:02:09.000 So with respect, I think it's an interesting campaign strategy for Ron DeSantis to be bashing a state of 40 million Americans when California simply has no peers.
00:02:20.000 Well, that's a pretty slick way of not answering your question.
00:02:23.000 He went on a binge of putting out a lot of left-wing platitudes.
00:02:26.000 Here's what I would say.
00:02:27.000 I talked to a lot of the people that have moved from California to Florida, and we never used to get people from California to Florida, or really anywhere in the East Coast.
00:02:33.000 Why would you leave California?
00:02:35.000 It's got the best weather, great natural... Ron, Ron, twice... Excuse me, sir.
00:02:38.000 But one of the things that I did, I was talking to a gentleman, a couple... Guys, guys, I'm going to let the debate breathe, but it's his turn.
00:02:47.000 Let's take turns.
00:02:48.000 So I was talking to a fella who had made the move from California to Florida, and he was telling me that Florida is much better governed, safer, better budget, lower taxes, all this stuff, and he's really happy with the quality of life.
00:03:00.000 And then he paused and he said, you know, by the way, I'm Gavin Newsom's father-in-law.
00:03:05.000 So we do count Gavin's in-laws as some of the people that have fled California and come to the state of Florida.
00:03:11.000 And why are we getting people to come?
00:03:14.000 We have a 50-year low in the crime rate.
00:03:16.000 You don't see in the last 10 years, we've had a 45% decline in homelessness.
00:03:21.000 California's had a 45% increase in homelessness.
00:03:24.000 We back the blue.
00:03:26.000 I was walking the streets of San Francisco a couple months ago and I had some of the cops
00:03:30.000 Let me move on.
00:03:30.000 There's no audience.
00:03:31.000 Wolf, let me bring up...
00:03:58.000 Wait a minute.
00:04:01.000 Hold on a second.
00:04:02.000 He said a lot of things that were factually untrue, including that 50 year crime law, which his own law enforcement team said should not be using.
00:04:10.000 You have yet to address the issue, but I asked you twice.
00:04:13.000 You don't want to answer it.
00:04:14.000 But the issue of why the migration out of red states, I'm sorry, out of blue states.
00:04:18.000 We just established more Floridians coming to California in the last
00:04:21.000 It's a fact.
00:04:22.000 No, it's not a fact.
00:04:23.000 It is a fact.
00:04:23.000 How can this be true?
00:04:39.000 Married couple, for example, in California, earning a medium income of $84,000, they have a 6% income tax in the state of California.
00:04:48.000 Florida's income tax rate is 0% across all salaries, but it goes beyond income taxes.
00:04:54.000 Property taxes are lower in California, but everything else is higher.
00:04:58.000 Let's take a look at the numbers.
00:04:59.000 These are the facts.
00:05:01.000 The average property tax in California, .75%.
00:05:03.000 Florida, .91%.
00:05:06.000 Sales tax, California, 7.25%.
00:05:08.000 Florida, 6%.
00:05:11.000 Gas tax rate, California, 77 cents a gallon.
00:05:14.000 That is a low estimate.
00:05:16.000 It's up to a dollar when you include mandatory fees.
00:05:20.000 And in Florida, it's 35 cents.
00:05:21.000 Corporate income tax, California, 8.84%.
00:05:23.000 Florida, 5.5%.
00:05:26.000 Governor Newsom, this is your question.
00:05:28.000 Let me ask you.
00:05:29.000 Obviously, you support a different philosophy, which is higher taxes.
00:05:34.000 Yes.
00:05:35.000 No, hold on.
00:05:36.000 This is a tax question, Governor.
00:05:38.000 This is a very different approach, and I agree with you completely.
00:05:42.000 He has one of the most regressive tax rates in the United States of America.
00:05:45.000 It's the number three most regressive state in America.
00:05:48.000 And what that means is simply this.
00:05:50.000 Who does he tax?
00:05:52.000 He taxes low-income workers more than we tax millionaires and billionaires in the state of California.
00:05:58.000 The question is a simple one.
00:06:00.000 Who, Ron, are you for?
00:06:01.000 It's a factual lie that the state of California's high tax has the highest tax rate.
00:06:07.000 But for whom?
00:06:08.000 How many people
00:06:25.000 Leave Florida to go to California because they pay less taxes.
00:06:29.000 I've not seen that.
00:06:30.000 Are people going from Florida to New York because they pay less taxes?
00:06:33.000 Of course not.
00:06:34.000 They come to Florida because they pay lower taxes.
00:06:36.000 We don't even have an income tax and yet California has a higher sales tax than we do and that's one of the things that we do.
00:06:42.000 But here's the thing.
00:06:44.000 And I'll give Gavin credit.
00:06:45.000 He did at least admit in his first answer, he's joined at the hip with Biden and Harris.
00:06:50.000 He thinks Biden and Harris have done a great job.
00:06:52.000 He thinks the economy is working because of their policies for Americans, and they are not.
00:06:57.000 And so what California represents is the Biden-Harris agenda on steroids.
00:07:02.000 They would love nothing more than to get four more years to be able to take the California model nationally.
00:07:07.000 That would be disastrous for working people.
00:07:09.000 Let's talk about working people.
00:07:10.000 They pay more in your state than the state of California charges for billionaires and millionaires.
00:07:15.000 And it's just a value proposition.
00:07:16.000 It's a fact.
00:07:17.000 Again, you can't make these things up.
00:07:19.000 You have six or seven dollar a gallon gas.
00:07:21.000 How do they afford that?
00:07:23.000 These are folks that are blue collar people.
00:07:24.000 You're going to force everybody to buy an electric vehicle.
00:07:27.000 How are they going to be able to afford electric vehicles if you're working class people?
00:07:31.000 And I think the thing about California, they have one of the highest inequality rates because, yeah, they've got Silicon Valley billionaires, they've got a lot of very wealthy people, they've got a lot of people that are on government assistance, but they've hollowed out their middle class.
00:07:44.000 That's who's been leaving California.
00:07:46.000 They've been leaving in other places.
00:07:47.000 They go to Arizona, they go to Nevada, they go to all these places.
00:07:50.000 Just like Biden is hollowing out this country.
00:07:53.000 That's what they're doing in California.
00:07:54.000 Ron, I'm happy that you continue to talk.
00:07:57.000 Let's talk a little bit about Bidenomics, because I'm happy to take that on right now as well.
00:08:00.000 And I think it's a fair point.
00:08:01.000 You're a big supporter of it.
00:08:02.000 I appreciate you acknowledging that.
00:08:04.000 14 million jobs, 10 times more than the last three Republican presidents combined.
00:08:08.000 815,000 manufacturing jobs, 3.9%.
00:08:14.000 3.9% unemployment.
00:08:16.000 As he continues to talk over me, I'll talk to the American people.
00:08:19.000 3.9% unemployment.
00:08:21.000 The lowest black unemployment in American history.
00:08:23.000 The lowest unemployment for Hispanics in American history.
00:08:26.000 The lowest unemployment for women in 70 years.
00:08:28.000 The lowest black poverty rates in history.
00:08:31.000 That's this administration's agenda.
00:08:34.000 And by the way, as you smile and smirk over there, you should know this, the American people.
00:08:39.000 Here's a guy who celebrated Bidenomics just this week, celebrating $28 million that came into your state because of the Chips and Science Act, one of the most significant economic plans since FDR.
00:08:51.000 I'm proud of the work Biden and Harris have done.
00:08:53.000 Would you like to respond?
00:08:55.000 And I do have a follow-up.
00:08:57.000 The 6% rate on people, families, a couple in California, they pay 6% income tax on $84,000 a year.
00:09:06.000 That's what he does.
00:09:07.000 That's what he does.
00:09:09.000 That's what he does.
00:09:09.000 I didn't ask about Florida.
00:09:10.000 He is spinning lies to be able to try to cover for his fault.
00:09:14.000 That's a lie.
00:09:15.000 California has lower taxes.
00:09:23.000 More, lower than 32 states for working families in the middle class.
00:09:27.000 Significantly lower taxes than places like Texas.
00:09:29.000 So you support that?
00:09:30.000 That's what you said.
00:09:31.000 You support a 6% income tax for people?
00:09:33.000 I'm against, I'm against regressive taxes that advantage billionaires and millionaires over working families and the working poor.
00:09:40.000 People in a state pay more taxes on the low end than we tax people.
00:09:45.000 How does paying $7 a gallon gas help working people?
00:09:50.000 That doesn't help working people at all.
00:09:52.000 How does paying an 8% sales tax help working people?
00:09:56.000 That doesn't help working people at all.
00:09:58.000 They have the highest taxes in the nation, people flee to be able to save money to get out of California, and you have working class people that move to these other states, their dollars go much further.
00:10:09.000 But here's the thing, they want to take this Bidenomics and they want to double down on this for the next four years.
00:10:15.000 How many people are able to afford groceries now compared to what you were doing three or four years ago?
00:10:20.000 I talked to people, you know, I talked to a woman who had a cart full of groceries going in and they're ringing it up and it got to be so expensive she has to take a lot of the stuff out.
00:10:31.000 That didn't used to be the case.
00:10:33.000 People used to be able to work hard and get ahead.
00:10:35.000 That is not true under Joe Biden.
00:10:37.000 And you know what, Sean, one more final thing.
00:10:40.000 California's unemployment rate is 60% higher than Florida's unemployment rate.
00:10:45.000 Our unemployment rate is 2.8%.
00:10:46.000 That dovetails into my next question, Governor.
00:10:50.000 Why?
00:10:50.000 Because it's a command and control economy.
00:10:52.000 They have a political agenda that they're pursuing.
00:10:55.000 Let me ask that question.
00:10:57.000 Honor with a question of jobs.
00:10:58.000 I think it's important.
00:10:59.000 You know what?
00:10:59.000 That affects everybody.
00:11:00.000 By the way, the Biden administration in the last three years has been a massive box of job creation.
00:11:05.000 Is Joe Biden paying you tonight?
00:11:07.000 3.9% unemployment.
00:11:07.000 I thought this was state versus state.
00:11:09.000 But it's about the United States of America.
00:11:11.000 I thought this guy was running for president of the United States.
00:11:13.000 You are too.
00:11:14.000 You just won't admit it.
00:11:15.000 You're running for a third term.
00:11:16.000 You just won't admit it.
00:11:17.000 You will not admit it.
00:11:18.000 Why don't you just admit that you're running?
00:11:21.000 Alright, we can't talk.
00:11:22.000 I'm going to move on to the next question.
00:11:23.000 The unemployment rate.
00:11:25.000 In Florida, right now, it's just 2.8%, as you stated.
00:11:31.000 And California ranks second worst in the country at 4.8%.
00:11:34.000 Hold on, this question goes to Governor DeSantis, and then you'll have a chance to respond.
00:11:40.000 Governor DeSantis.
00:11:42.000 Well, right.
00:11:42.000 I mean, they tax too much.
00:11:44.000 They regulate too much.
00:11:45.000 They have a political agenda.
00:11:46.000 It's not a good climate for business.
00:11:48.000 They've lost a lot of companies.
00:11:49.000 A lot of companies have moved to Texas.
00:11:51.000 We have had some to Florida, but they've lost a lot of companies to Texas because they're not doing a good job looking out for folks and not creating a good business environment.
00:11:59.000 And, you know, when I have people that come to Florida, they tell me, you know, you guys actually want us to succeed in Florida.
00:12:06.000 And they feel like when they're in California, they don't want business to succeed and all that stuff.
00:12:11.000 Well, actually, yeah.
00:12:13.000 I think that's an interesting point with Disney, because I had Disney open during COVID, and we made them a fortune, and we saved a lot of jobs.
00:12:22.000 You had Disney closed, inexplicably, for over a year.
00:12:25.000 You were not following science.
00:12:27.000 You were a lockdown governor.
00:12:29.000 You did a lot of damage to your people.
00:12:31.000 You had more kids locked out of school for a longer period of time in California than anywhere else in the country.
00:12:37.000 It was the working class kids.
00:12:38.000 It was the middle income kids.
00:12:40.000 His kids were in private school.
00:12:42.000 They were in class in person.
00:12:43.000 He locked people out because of the teacher's union.
00:12:47.000 He is owned by the teacher's union.
00:12:49.000 You will never cross the teacher's union.
00:12:51.000 Lock, stock and barrel.
00:12:52.000 Let's talk about COVID.
00:12:53.000 Let's talk about your reckoning on COVID.
00:12:55.000 You passed an emergency declaration before the state of California did.
00:12:59.000 You closed down your beaches, your bars, your restaurants.
00:13:01.000 False.
00:13:02.000 It's a fact.
00:13:03.000 You had quarantines.
00:13:04.000 You had checkpoints all over the state of Florida.
00:13:08.000 By the way, I didn't say that.
00:13:10.000 Donald Trump laid you out on this.
00:13:11.000 Dead to right.
00:13:12.000 You did that.
00:13:13.000 You followed science.
00:13:14.000 You followed Fauci.
00:13:16.000 He followed science.
00:13:17.000 He followed Fauci.
00:13:19.000 You were promoting vaccines.
00:13:22.000 You were promoting vaccines.
00:13:23.000 You even wore a mask in September, Sean.
00:13:27.000 If it's okay with you, we'll do this.
00:13:29.000 Why don't we do this in a way where we both can have opportunity?
00:13:33.000 You wore a mask with Donald Trump outside in September 2020.
00:13:36.000 He did all of that until...
00:13:40.000 He decided to fall prey to the fringe of his party.
00:13:44.000 And as a consequence of that, Ron, tens of thousands of people lost their lives.
00:13:49.000 Not true.
00:13:50.000 The equivalent, if I had your policies, the equivalent of ten 9-11s.
00:13:54.000 Tens of thousands of people lost their lives.
00:13:56.000 And for what, Ron?
00:13:58.000 Those are more lies.
00:13:59.000 In fact, the Lancet just did a study
00:14:01.000 Florida had a lower standardized COVID death rate than California did.
00:14:05.000 That's a land study.
00:14:06.000 One more thing.
00:14:07.000 One more thing.
00:14:08.000 The other thing we had, the other thing California had, California had higher excess mortality than California.
00:14:16.000 Let me talk about the excess mortality real quick.
00:14:18.000 Honestly, hold on a second.
00:14:20.000 I want to ask you both.
00:14:22.000 Slow down.
00:14:22.000 I want everyone to be heard.
00:14:24.000 If I can ask you, I really do want this to breathe.
00:14:26.000 I want this debate to breathe.
00:14:27.000 I want it to organically develop.
00:14:30.000 To do that, I need both your cooperation.
00:14:32.000 I don't want to be a hall monitor.
00:14:33.000 It's not my style, alright?
00:14:35.000 You mentioned COVID.
00:14:36.000 Let me go to COVID.
00:14:39.000 And I plan to bring this up later, but you both took very different approaches as it comes to COVID.
00:14:44.000 Governor Newsom, you issued the nation's first stay at home order on March 19th of 2020.
00:14:50.000 Governor DeSantis, you took a lot of heat for reopening schools.
00:14:53.000 You opened schools in Florida in August of 2020.
00:14:56.000 All right, so here's the data, which I think is important.
00:14:59.000 This is where the facts come in.
00:15:01.000 Your state's death rates were almost identical.
00:15:04.000 This is factually
00:15:05.000 Hold on.
00:15:08.000 And by the way, both your states, with such different approaches, which is pretty fascinating, were both lower, significantly lower, than the national average.
00:15:17.000 These numbers come straight from the CDC.
00:15:19.000 So, Governor Newsom, how do you explain that?
00:15:23.000 Per capita death rates in the state of Florida were 29%, 29% per capita higher.
00:15:31.000 That's not what the stats say right there.
00:15:32.000 That's not what the stats say.
00:15:34.000 Tens of thousands of people unnecessarily died.
00:15:36.000 Don't lie about it.
00:15:37.000 He put the graphic up there.
00:15:38.000 Don't lie about it.
00:15:39.000 You don't need to lie about it.
00:15:41.000 Just understand.
00:15:42.000 You don't need to lie about it.
00:15:43.000 No, it's not.
00:15:44.000 You were a lockdown governor.
00:15:45.000 No, it's not.
00:15:45.000 One at a time, Gavin Newsom, finish your thought.
00:15:46.000 You locked down your beaches, bars, and restaurants.
00:15:49.000 That's just a fact.
00:15:50.000 He's running away from his record.
00:15:51.000 He's running away from the fact.
00:15:53.000 Tens of thousands of people died unnecessarily because he caved.
00:15:56.000 You saw the CDC numbers.
00:15:57.000 It's 29% higher.
00:16:00.000 Death rate in the state of Florida versus the state of California.
00:16:04.000 Quick response, Governor.
00:16:05.000 You showed us the stats.
00:16:06.000 The stats are very clear.
00:16:08.000 One at a time.
00:16:08.000 On a per capita age-adjusted basis, California and Florida basically the same.
00:16:12.000 Now, why is that important?
00:16:13.000 Because Gavin Newsom did huge damage to people in California.
00:16:17.000 He ruined livelihoods.
00:16:19.000 We reopened the state very quickly.
00:16:22.000 We saved thousands of jobs.
00:16:24.000 We saved hundreds of thousands of jobs.
00:16:26.000 Thousands of businesses.
00:16:27.000 We had our kids in school.
00:16:29.000 He had the kids locked out of school because of the teachers union.
00:16:32.000 That is having a generational impact.
00:16:35.000 California has one of the lowest literacy rates in the country.
00:16:38.000 In the most recent NAEP exam, Florida came in number three for fourth grade reading.
00:16:42.000 California was far, far behind.
00:16:44.000 So you should apologize for not getting your kids in school.
00:16:48.000 Why didn't you get the kids in school in the summer of 2020 like we did?
00:16:53.000 We've got to take a break.
00:16:54.000 I'll finish your thought.
00:17:11.000 No, and when it comes to the issue of schools, you better be careful.
00:17:13.000 You had more learning loss during COVID than the national average in the state of California.
00:17:18.000 Without, it's a fact.
00:17:20.000 More learning loss.
00:17:21.000 Your economy contracted more in 2020.
00:17:23.000 Quick break.
00:17:24.000 Expanded slower than California in 2021.
00:17:27.000 More to come on this topic.
00:17:29.000 More to come on this debate.
00:17:31.000 It's been rather dull at the start, but anyway, we've got a lot to get to.
00:17:38.000 Coming up, many important topics that we're going to be talking about, including one issue where you might find some agreement, actually, as we continue the blue state, red state debate.
00:17:48.000 We are live.
00:17:48.000 We are in Alpharetta, Georgia.
00:17:50.000 Thank you for being with us.
00:17:56.000 Napoleon is the number one movie in the world So what what is I don't understand what this is I don't know why anyone agreed to do this
00:18:16.000 It just really makes no sense.
00:18:18.000 I don't know what the point is.
00:18:19.000 I mean, because DeSantis is arguing like this is a presidential debate, but it isn't.
00:18:24.000 He's in there saying, well, I'm glad you acknowledge that you support Biden and Harris.
00:18:29.000 It's like, who are you talking to?
00:18:32.000 Who are you talking to?
00:18:34.000 Like, this isn't, you're not running for president.
00:18:37.000 Well, I mean, you are, but not against Newsom.
00:18:41.000 Although some say that he actually is.
00:18:44.000 So I just don't understand who he's talking to.
00:18:47.000 Is he talking to people in California?
00:18:49.000 People in California voted for Biden and Harris.
00:18:53.000 I'm glad he acknowledges that he supports the Biden-Harris economy.
00:18:56.000 Who is that supposed to appeal to?
00:18:58.000 Who are you trying to win over with that?
00:19:02.000 Liberal Democrats in California?
00:19:03.000 And you're not even, you're not running for the governor of California.
00:19:08.000 So, I think it's weird.
00:19:11.000 It's weird that they don't have a studio audience.
00:19:13.000 It's weird that Sean Hannity is hosting it.
00:19:15.000 I don't know why Newsom would agree to that.
00:19:17.000 It's obviously two versus one.
00:19:20.000 And, uh... Yeah, so this whole thing is just bizarre.
00:19:26.000 And DeSantis is weird, man.
00:19:28.000 I don't know what that is, but you can tell he clearly is autistic.
00:19:34.000 Or something.
00:19:35.000 There's something going on there.
00:19:36.000 He's making these faces.
00:19:37.000 Every time he's not talking, he's like doing, he's like this.
00:19:40.000 He's like... It's like, what is that?
00:19:47.000 Why is he making it?
00:19:49.000 You know, just, just stand there.
00:19:52.000 Can you just chill?
00:19:53.000 Can you just be there?
00:19:54.000 I mean, and it's, it's not even when the camera's not on him, because the camera's on him the whole time.
00:19:59.000 When they do the split screen, but he's not talking,
00:20:03.000 Newsom's doing the answer and DeSantis is standing there like this.
00:20:08.000 What is that?
00:20:13.000 So this is a big mistake for DeSantis.
00:20:16.000 It's just a weird, this is a weird venue and I would imagine the viewership is not good.
00:20:23.000 The viewership on the presidential debates isn't good.
00:20:25.000 The viewership on the primary debates has been very bad.
00:20:30.000 This last one, almost nobody watched it on television.
00:20:35.000 So I can't imagine what this is going to be.
00:20:36.000 It's not even like this is big PR, or like this is, maybe he thought this would be some publicity, but this isn't even publicity.
00:20:45.000 Nobody's even watching this.
00:20:49.000 So, very bizarre.
00:20:52.000 Set up here obviously the thing is I um I agree with DeSantis but I like Newsom more.
00:20:59.000 I know it's sort of contrarian to say uh you know we like Newsom but I'm not in favor of high taxes and lockdowns and all that stuff and and honestly I think DeSantis
00:21:11.000 Is a good governor as much as I don't want him to be the president as much as I think he's a shill and I have my issues with him.
00:21:18.000 I think he's very articulate.
00:21:20.000 I think he is intelligent and he shines during the debates because that's clearly his strong suit.
00:21:27.000 Clearly he's he's not really a he's not a good politician because he's not socially all the way there.
00:21:34.000 Clearly there's some disconnect but he's a big nerd for the numbers and for policy and the whole administrative process.
00:21:44.000 He knows what he's talking about obviously.
00:21:47.000 The last debate this one but I just don't like him I think he's so uncool and lame and of course I don't like him for opposing Trump.
00:21:57.000 But, but that's this debate.
00:21:59.000 I want to see, because I know other people are covering this.
00:22:03.000 I saw Crowder's watching.
00:22:04.000 I wonder what his thoughts are.
00:22:06.000 No, no, I just I feel like you're messing with me at this point.
00:22:13.000 No, you won't.
00:22:14.000 You won't see things pick up soon.
00:22:21.000 Because you're at the wrong place.
00:22:22.000 I'll go to Georgia.
00:22:23.000 No, you're not going to Georgia.
00:22:24.000 You're not going to make it there at all.
00:22:26.000 I know you won't.
00:22:31.000 So we got some kind of a comedy routine there.
00:22:37.000 What else is on Rumble?
00:22:38.000 Oh, we got Sneeko!
00:22:41.000 What's he doing?
00:22:46.000 Laura Loomer!
00:22:47.000 Oh, I guess we're back?
00:22:48.000 Okay, and we're back.
00:22:53.000 ...seekers at the border since President Biden took office.
00:22:56.000 The administration says, well, they don't know how many people actually are in the country illegally.
00:23:01.000 Gentlemen, the American people, I ask you, I believe it's your turn, Governor Newsom, have the American people on the issue of borders, you're defending the Biden administration.
00:23:12.000 They're saying the border is secure.
00:23:14.000 They're saying the border is closed.
00:23:15.000 Those are the numbers from our own border patrol.
00:23:18.000 Are the American people being lied to?
00:23:21.000 I don't think they're being lied to.
00:23:22.000 The Biden administration put out a comprehensive plan day one when he got sworn into office three years ago.
00:23:28.000 And the Republican Party didn't touch it.
00:23:29.000 They haven't moved on it.
00:23:30.000 They play politics with us.
00:23:32.000 And I'll be honest with you, I think there's probably one person I wouldn't listen to on this topic more than the guy that I'm standing next to, Ron DeSantis.
00:23:40.000 He is absolutely, he lacks any credibility on the issue of immigration.
00:23:44.000 When he was in Congress, he supported amnesty.
00:23:47.000 When he's in Congress, you supported John Boehner's bill.
00:23:50.000 It's a fact.
00:23:51.000 When you were in Congress you supported Obama's efforts to advance comprehensive reform.
00:23:59.000 The last guy you want to talk to on the issue of immigration.
00:24:02.000 Your immigration policy can best be described as a governor from the state of Florida
00:24:07.000 That's kind of a no-no.
00:24:28.000 Using human beings as pawns, I think, is disqualifying.
00:24:32.000 So again, a guy who stands here, who's been out on the Republican debate stage, saying, well, he's going to be tough, he's going to shoot people with backpacks, and that he has a strategy to potentially even invade our second largest trading partner, Mexico, that has a record of supporting amnesty and supporting reforms under the Obama administration, is the last guy to be standing on stage talking about the issue of immigration reform tonight.
00:24:58.000 Well, I'll tell you what, it's deja vu all over again with that flurry of lies.
00:25:02.000 This is a guy that says the Biden administration is not lying to the public about the border.
00:25:07.000 They go to the White House briefing room every day.
00:25:10.000 They say the border's secure.
00:25:11.000 They are lying to you.
00:25:13.000 We know that that's not true.
00:25:15.000 Gavin Newsom is lying to you when he says somehow I supported these things, which I didn't do.
00:25:19.000 He's also lying to you about what it's going to take to solve this problem.
00:25:23.000 California is a sanctuary state.
00:25:26.000 They thumb their nose at federal immigration law.
00:25:28.000 And this has real consequences.
00:25:30.000 There was an illegal alien, Herbert Nixon Flores, who was in L.A., in custody.
00:25:36.000 He was a repeat criminal.
00:25:38.000 ICE wanted to take him into custody because then they would be able to deport him.
00:25:42.000 L.A.
00:25:42.000 refuses to work with ICE, and so they wouldn't turn him over.
00:25:46.000 They end up releasing him on the street.
00:25:48.000 He ends up murdering the mother of a three-year-old little girl.
00:25:54.000 Those policies are deadly.
00:25:56.000 They do not work.
00:25:57.000 And I'll tell you this, the Martha's Vineyard transport, Martha's Vineyard said it was a sanctuary jurisdiction.
00:26:03.000 Kind of reminds me about Gavin Newsom, when he restricted Californians, then he went to the French Laundry.
00:26:09.000 These liberal elites, they like to impose burdens on you.
00:26:13.000 They don't want to have to face the consequences of their actions.
00:26:15.000 So we've got a lot of elites who want open borders, who lecture everybody else about it, and the minute they have to deal with any of the consequences, oh man, all hell breaks loose.
00:26:24.000 We're moving to the next question.
00:26:25.000 On the same topic.
00:26:31.000 On the same topic, this is important.
00:26:32.000 This is a very important question.
00:26:34.000 While some migrants I know want to come to America for a better life for themselves and their family, find the American dream, I totally sympathize with them.
00:26:43.000 Many good people fleeing very bad situations abroad.
00:26:47.000 But others are abusing the asylum process and in the process in search of where they're coming from.
00:26:55.000 We're now learning that many are coming from some of our top geopolitical foes.
00:27:00.000 Countries with little to no vetting or people that are coming in.
00:27:03.000 They're not being vetted.
00:27:04.000 Look at these numbers.
00:27:05.000 Between October 2021, October 2023, border agents encountered
00:27:10.000 6,386 nationals from Afghanistan, 3,153 from Egypt, 659 from Iran, the number one state sponsor of terror, 538 from Syria, 12,605 from Russia, and a whopping 26,113 from China.
00:27:32.000 Now, my question, the next question goes to you, Governor Newsom.
00:27:36.000 What are the odds that Biden's open borders have allowed terrorists and terror cells unvetted into this country?
00:27:45.000 Is that a clear and present danger to every American?
00:27:48.000 The odds are 100%.
00:27:48.000 Of course our enemies are going to take advantage of this.
00:27:52.000 He opened the border.
00:27:54.000 He's violating his oath of office to take care that the laws are faithfully executed.
00:27:59.000 He's knowingly having 8 million come in.
00:28:01.000 And yes, there's criminal aliens, there are terrorists, there's a lot of fentanyl.
00:28:06.000 We've had tens of thousands of fentanyl deaths.
00:28:08.000 I've met a lot of angel parents who have lost kids to fentanyl overdose.
00:28:14.000 And the problem is, you'll have a college kid that may take some pill not knowing that there's fentanyl in it.
00:28:21.000 And then right there, that can be fatal.
00:28:23.000 They're poisoning our people.
00:28:25.000 And Joe Biden is sitting on his hands.
00:28:27.000 He refuses to take care of the border.
00:28:29.000 He refuses to hold the drug cartels accountable.
00:28:32.000 This is the vision of Biden, Harris, Newsom.
00:28:36.000 Open borders.
00:28:37.000 Americans suffer and Americans continue to die because of fentanyl overdose.
00:28:41.000 There will be, unfortunately, a terrorist attack at some point that we'll be able to trace back to our southern borders.
00:28:47.000 God forbid.
00:28:48.000 By the way, do you see that risk, Governor Newsom?
00:28:50.000 Hold on.
00:28:50.000 I mean, do you see the risk?
00:28:52.000 Joe Biden put out not only a comprehensive plan, he consistently puts up plans.
00:28:56.000 Hold on a minute, Sean.
00:28:57.000 Is there a risk?
00:28:58.000 I'm going to answer your question.
00:29:00.000 I support border security.
00:29:02.000 I think the asylum system is broken.
00:29:04.000 I understand that.
00:29:05.000 Let's go.
00:29:05.000 Let's go.
00:29:21.000 On the issue of immigration, Joe Biden put a $14 billion immigration package up in front of Congress.
00:29:28.000 2,300 border agents, as well as customs officials.
00:29:32.000 1,000 new law enforcement officers to deal with the fentanyl issue.
00:29:35.000 By the way, that's a major issue in your state.
00:29:37.000 41% higher overdose rates than the state of California.
00:29:41.000 And here's what I haven't heard.
00:29:43.000 Not a peep.
00:29:44.000 From Ron DeSantis.
00:29:45.000 They want to demagogue this issue.
00:29:46.000 They want to play politics with this issue.
00:29:48.000 You don't want to solve this issue.
00:29:49.000 Why don't you lead your party and support that $14 billion?
00:29:53.000 Hold on.
00:29:54.000 I have a follow-up.
00:29:54.000 Governor Newsom, I appreciate your answer.
00:29:57.000 You have mentioned comprehensive immigration reform many times.
00:30:00.000 It's not happened under Joe Biden.
00:30:02.000 I don't think it's going to happen next year.
00:30:03.000 He put a detailed plan and Republicans in Congress refused to act on it.
00:30:06.000 It takes Congress to work with the administration.
00:30:10.000 With all of these millions and millions of people coming into this country unvetted, the question was and remains, is this a clear and present danger?
00:30:20.000 From the countries I put up on the screen, is that a clear and present danger to America?
00:30:25.000 And what do you do in the interim?
00:30:26.000 That's why the President of the United States put a $14 billion package in front of Congress they can act on today.
00:30:33.000 And what would that package do?
00:30:36.000 What do you support?
00:30:37.000 You support a border wall?
00:30:38.000 I'm almost out of time.
00:30:39.000 Before the break.
00:30:40.000 Does it worry you?
00:30:40.000 Let me ask the question another way.
00:31:03.000 Does it worry you that our top geopolitical foes, the number one state sponsor of terror, Iran, China, Russia, Afghanistan, Syria, that they're at our southern border, you're a border state governor.
00:31:17.000 Does that concern you at all?
00:31:21.000 That's a lie!
00:31:21.000 That's a lie!
00:31:22.000 That's a lie!
00:31:22.000 Such a lie!
00:31:39.000 The fact that your greatest contribution, Ron, to this debate is shooting people's backpacks.
00:31:59.000 We've got to take our second.
00:32:19.000 We gotta take our second break.
00:32:21.000 When we come back, we have a lot more ground to cover.
00:32:24.000 Quick break, we have a lot of ground to cover.
00:32:26.000 More with Governors DeSantis and Newsom.
00:32:29.000 The great blue-red state debate as we continue from Alpharetta, Georgia.
00:32:33.000 Again, thank you for being with us.
00:32:34.000 Boring and weird debate.
00:32:35.000 That was awesome, though.
00:32:36.000 He totally... That's the clip.
00:32:39.000 That's the soundbite.
00:32:41.000 That Newsome tore him a new asshole.
00:32:42.000 Hey, how's that going for you, by the way?
00:32:45.000 That was so funny.
00:32:47.000 How's that going for you?
00:32:48.000 He says.
00:32:51.000 Huh, troll?
00:32:52.000 Trolls and moral fags.
00:32:54.000 W moral fag.
00:32:56.000 W moral fag Gavin Newsome.
00:32:59.000 Let's check in with Rob.
00:33:00.000 Ronald Reagan is the one who really kind of opened the floodgates for
00:33:04.000 How is that even possible?
00:33:05.000 Literally open the stream.
00:33:06.000 Ronald Reagan, at least he's criticizing him, I guess.
00:33:07.000 Dude, what is...
00:33:22.000 What is going on with this face?
00:33:23.000 Why does he look like shit?
00:33:24.000 Sign the guest book.
00:33:25.000 We're full up.
00:33:25.000 There's no vacancy unless you come here legally.
00:33:28.000 Do not shy away from it.
00:33:29.000 Lean into it.
00:33:30.000 The only person who does that right now is Donald Trump.
00:33:32.000 But DeSantis is doing a really, really good job.
00:33:34.000 We're going to go really quickly to a commercial break so we can actually use the restroom.
00:33:38.000 I think, yeah, beautiful differences.
00:33:40.000 Lateralscatter.com slash MugClub.
00:33:41.000 Once they're gone, they are gone.
00:33:43.000 Keep it down a lower third so we all know when this stream comes back.
00:33:46.000 Nick DiPaolo, Gerald Morgan.
00:33:47.000 Go to the break!
00:33:48.000 Yeah!
00:33:52.000 They're on a break too?
00:33:53.000 How are you on a break?
00:33:54.000 You're not even a network.
00:33:57.000 Boomer!
00:33:57.000 Boomer's on a break too?
00:34:00.000 Is everyone on a break?
00:34:01.000 What the fuck was that?
00:34:03.000 Oh, that he ate pudding with his fingers.
00:34:06.000 I was like, what the fuck?
00:34:07.000 I don't want to see that!
00:34:08.000 I don't want to see that!
00:34:10.000 What the fuck?
00:34:11.000 Ew!
00:34:13.000 Gross!
00:34:13.000 What?
00:34:15.000 What is going on?
00:34:16.000 Where are we?
00:34:17.000 This is the weirdest night ever.
00:34:19.000 This debate is weird.
00:34:21.000 Crowder's got freaking AIDS face.
00:34:25.000 Someone's eating shit off their hands.
00:34:30.000 Jeez.
00:34:32.000 Weird.
00:34:32.000 Weird day today.
00:34:34.000 You know, in less than eight weeks, he's sleeping through the night.
00:34:37.000 Our guy Elijah Schaefer, he looks good, man.
00:34:40.000 He looks really good.
00:34:41.000 He lost weight.
00:34:43.000 Love the haircut.
00:34:43.000 He's an Aryan super soldier.
00:34:45.000 Yeah, dude.
00:34:49.000 What are we going to do here?
00:34:53.000 Dude, I just can't.
00:34:54.000 Is it just me?
00:34:55.000 I just can't with the skits.
00:34:57.000 Is the pudding thing over?
00:34:58.000 Can that please be over?
00:34:59.000 Okay, looks like it's over.
00:35:01.000 Where's our volume?
00:35:01.000 Muted.
00:35:21.000 Oh, she's eating pudding now.
00:35:22.000 Okay, I can't watch someone, I can't watch somebody eat pudding.
00:35:25.000 I don't know why that grosses me out.
00:35:27.000 The thought of someone doing that just freaks me out right now.
00:35:30.000 I just can't.
00:35:31.000 I don't, I actually don't really want to watch Laura Loomer eat pudding at the moment.
00:35:39.000 I can't, after that advertisement, I can't be watching any of that.
00:35:47.000 No!
00:35:47.000 No!
00:35:48.000 Stop!
00:35:49.000 Stop!
00:35:51.000 What in the world?
00:35:52.000 Okay, you know what?
00:35:57.000 Let's just go back.
00:35:58.000 Is this debate back or what?
00:36:01.000 What the f... Dude, conservatives are so weird.
00:36:06.000 I love Laura, but she is, like, part of the conservative movement, and conservatives are so weird about stuff like that.
00:36:13.000 That's such, like, a prototypical thing that conservatives would do, like, get hung up on DeSantis eating pudding with his fingers and then, like, make something really weird and gross about it as a joke.
00:36:25.000 It's like the Biden farts thing, you know?
00:36:27.000 Remember when Steven Crowder did Biden farts?
00:36:31.000 I don't know why.
00:36:31.000 Like, why are they like that?
00:36:32.000 I would never make... They always want to cross-dress or... You know what I'm talking about?
00:36:38.000 They'll do like these funny skits and they're always cross-dressing or doing other weird stuff.
00:36:43.000 I would never do stuff like that.
00:36:44.000 I would... My instinct is to never do stuff like that.
00:36:48.000 And yet they love that.
00:36:49.000 They do it all the time.
00:36:53.000 Okay, what else?
00:36:54.000 Is this, uh...
00:36:57.000 Okay, Rumble's goofing, goofing goof right now.
00:37:01.000 What the flip?
00:37:03.000 Why is this not loading?
00:37:06.000 Hello?
00:37:08.000 What the flip?
00:37:13.000 Is it just me or is Rumble down or something?
00:37:16.000 Bruh!
00:37:19.000 Um... Okay?
00:37:22.000 ...numbers violent crime nationally for each of your states.
00:37:26.000 Keep in mind this statistic shows what is the combined rate of homicide, rape, robbery, aggravated assault the year 2022.
00:37:33.000 On the national level, the rate was 380.7 offenses per 100,000 people.
00:37:35.000 In California, meanwhile, the rate was much higher, 499.5 offenses per 100,000.
00:37:49.000 In Florida, lower 258.9 offenses per 100,000.
00:37:54.000 Governor Newsom, let me start with you.
00:37:56.000 Your numbers are way higher than the national average.
00:37:59.000 How do you explain that when safety and security, I would argue, is a prerequisite for the pursuit of happiness?
00:38:05.000 Well, I couldn't agree with you more.
00:38:06.000 We're near 50-year lows, down 55% violent crimes in the state of California from the 1990s.
00:38:12.000 And I want to compare and contrast that with the issue in Florida that you didn't mention, and that's the murder rate.
00:38:17.000 And let's broaden it more broadly.
00:38:19.000 The issue is, seven of the top ten murder rates in the United States of America are red states.
00:38:26.000 He has a 66% higher gun death rate than the state of California.
00:38:31.000 He has a higher murder rate.
00:38:33.000 Go to places like Jacksonville.
00:38:34.000 Go to places like Orlando.
00:38:36.000 Go to places like Tampa.
00:38:37.000 The murder rate is off the charts compared to cities like San Francisco.
00:38:42.000 And you know what?
00:38:43.000 Even more egregiously, Sean, and I think this is important, the American people deserve an answer from you, Ron.
00:38:48.000 You had one of the worst mass shootings in American history, Parkland.
00:38:53.000 17 kids were gunned down.
00:38:54.000 Lives lost.
00:38:55.000 17 others, lives torn asunder.
00:38:58.000 You had a young girl by the name of Jamie Guttenberg, whose father pleaded with you to do something about it.
00:39:05.000 And you know what you did?
00:39:05.000 You did the exact opposite.
00:39:07.000 You made it easier for felons to get guns without background checks, without any training.
00:39:13.000 These people pleaded with you, parents and the families, to get tough on gun safety.
00:39:17.000 And again, you made it easier for felons.
00:39:20.000 He said of you, Ron, and I agree with him.
00:39:22.000 After you signed that concealed carry bill, which increases the likelihood, Fred Guttenberg said, of more Jamies losing their lives and more Parklands, he called you weak, pathetic, and small.
00:39:34.000 So with respect, I appreciate you're talking to police officers in the state of California.
00:39:38.000 You may want to spend a little bit more time, not on the Ohio Trail, but other places across this country.
00:39:44.000 You may spend a little more time back in your home state and address the murder and gun violence in your own backyard.
00:39:51.000 So this is the slick politician.
00:39:53.000 You put up the rates.
00:39:54.000 He has 500 per 100,000.
00:39:56.000 Florida is 250.
00:39:58.000 So that's almost twice as much.
00:40:00.000 And he's trying to spin that to say California's doing good?
00:40:03.000 People are leaving California in droves largely because public safety has collapsed.
00:40:11.000 I mean, when Californians come to Florida, one of the things they'll say, it's almost like an out-of-body experience.
00:40:15.000 They can go to the store, get toothpaste off the shelf, pay for it, and leave because in a lot of these places in California, everything's under lock and key because they basically legalized retail theft.
00:40:26.000 They have chosen in California to put the interests of the criminals over public safety.
00:40:32.000 They're easier on sex offenders.
00:40:35.000 They're easier on all these crimes that are leading to a collapse in the quality of life.
00:40:40.000 And if you just walk around San Francisco, you will see, and I think it's interesting,
00:40:45.000 Gavin Newsom was mayor of San Francisco.
00:40:47.000 So he took the San Francisco model, turned that into a template for California's collapse.
00:40:53.000 Now the left wants to take the California model and use that as a template for America's collapse.
00:40:58.000 We cannot let that happen.
00:41:04.000 San Francisco is 126% higher.
00:41:08.000 In Orlando, it's 84% higher.
00:41:12.000 In Tampa, it's 75% higher.
00:41:15.000 What are you talking about when it comes to this?
00:41:20.000 You're just jabbering.
00:41:21.000 I know you like to jabber.
00:41:22.000 I know you like to lie.
00:41:23.000 Anytime you're uncomfortable, he puts the statistics up there.
00:41:27.000 Your crime is higher.
00:41:29.000 We know your crime is higher.
00:41:30.000 Gentlemen, what are you doing about the gun murder rate in your state?
00:41:34.000 We'll let the audience look at the FBI numbers and decide.
00:41:38.000 According to the Gun Control Advocacy Group, every town for gun safety.
00:41:46.000 California has the most, as you support, I know Governor, restrictive gun laws in the United States.
00:41:53.000 Florida has the 19th most restrictive.
00:41:56.000 Yet, if you look at the year 2019, when each of you took office, California has had 21 mass shootings, Florida has had 9.
00:42:05.000 Now, that is according to a USA Today, AP, Northeastern University database, data.
00:42:14.000 Keep in mind, a mass killing is defined as the intentional killing of four or more victims, excluding the deaths of unborn children and the offenders by any means within a 24-period of time.
00:42:28.000 I believe, Governor DeSantis, you get this first.
00:42:31.000 What California wants to do is they want to make it harder for law-abiding citizens to defend themselves, then they go easy on the criminals who are perpetrating the crime.
00:42:40.000 They don't stand up for the men and women of law enforcement.
00:42:43.000 That's why a lot of people have left the state, because they don't get the support from the communities that they need.
00:42:48.000 And, you know, Gavin told another lie.
00:42:50.000 He said we made it easier for felons to do.
00:42:53.000 Felons are not allowed to possess firearms.
00:42:55.000 That's federal law.
00:42:56.000 That's been long-standing.
00:42:57.000 No background check.
00:42:58.000 That's an absolute lie that he's saying like that.
00:43:01.000 That has nothing to do with buying or purchasing a weapon.
00:43:04.000 So that's just a lie, another lie that's coming up.
00:43:07.000 But here's the thing.
00:43:08.000 People are leaving California in droves because he has failed to stand up for public safety.
00:43:14.000 They are on an ideological joyride to let people out of prison early, to go easy on them.
00:43:19.000 Heck, your buddy, Gavin's buddy in Los Angeles, Gascon, he doesn't even prosecute.
00:43:25.000 When you have, when I was in Southern California for the Reagan debate, a lot of the women tell me they have to take off all their jewelry just to be able to go shopping, because otherwise they're going to get mugged.
00:43:35.000 That is the reality that people are facing in California.
00:43:39.000 Gavin can try to put lipstick on that pig, but the fact of the matter is, he has failed the people of California.
00:43:45.000 I love this guy talking about backing the blue when you dangled pardons for January 6 insurrectionists, 85 of them that were literally charged with attacking law enforcement.
00:43:57.000 You talk a big game about backing the blue.
00:44:00.000 With all due respect to the crime rate, again, he's not answering the fact that he has a higher murder rate than the state of California, a 66% higher gun death rate than the state of California, and I can easily answer this point, gun safety saves lives.
00:44:12.000 I don't think it, I know it, and the data bears that out in the state of California.
00:44:16.000 California proudly does lead in terms of common sense gun safety.
00:44:20.000 Common sense gun safety saves lives.
00:44:22.000 You had the chance to do something meaningful, you had a chance to do something on behalf of those Parkland families,
00:44:27.000 You did the exact opposite.
00:44:28.000 You moved in the exact opposite direction.
00:44:30.000 With all due respect, look at your own backyard, Ron.
00:44:34.000 You're not mining your backyard on this issue.
00:44:36.000 I will do that because we had two radical left Soros district attorneys, like your buddy Gascon in LA.
00:44:43.000 We're good to go.
00:45:05.000 15 seconds, we gotta go break.
00:45:07.000 Come on.
00:45:07.000 I mean, you're running for President of the United States, you're talking down the great state of California, you're talking down one of the great American cities, Los Angeles.
00:45:14.000 That's insulting.
00:45:15.000 And you're doing it because you're trying to obfuscate the facts that you have a higher murder rate in the state of Florida than the state of California.
00:45:21.000 We have some of the lowest crime rates we've had in 50 years.
00:45:24.000 Well, we'll have more with Governor DeSantis, Governor Gavin Newsom on the other side as we continue the great state debate, blue versus red.
00:45:31.000 There's hardly any differences.
00:45:33.000 A lot of ground to cover.
00:45:34.000 Thank you for being here.
00:45:36.000 What is this, like three breaks in an hour?
00:45:38.000 A break every 15 minutes?
00:45:40.000 Three breaks in 50 minutes.
00:45:44.000 Alright, well, boring.
00:45:47.000 Boring!
00:45:48.000 Yeah, yeah, yeah, we agree.
00:45:49.000 Guns are cool.
00:45:51.000 Crime in L.A.
00:45:52.000 sucks.
00:45:52.000 Yeah, yeah, we know.
00:45:55.000 Alright, let's check in on this.
00:45:57.000 There is a difference!
00:45:58.000 People use it!
00:45:59.000 I can't get Tyler Perry on fuckin' Tubi.
00:46:03.000 Oh, God.
00:46:04.000 I think I need a little bit more wine in here, guys.
00:46:07.000 I fucking hate this guy.
00:46:10.000 I don't want you to get any more wine.
00:46:11.000 I think you've got a problem.
00:46:11.000 We're going to talk about that after the show.
00:46:13.000 You're drinking way too much wine, Gerald.
00:46:14.000 No, I'm not drinking too much wine.
00:46:15.000 Gerald, we don't need... Look, man, you're a man of the cloth.
00:46:17.000 Let's clean it up.
00:46:18.000 Exactly.
00:46:19.000 Not every day is communion day.
00:46:20.000 Okay.
00:46:21.000 You don't need that much wine.
00:46:22.000 We've finished our drink.
00:46:23.000 There have been thug life moments.
00:46:24.000 It's the blood of...
00:46:26.000 No, no, no.
00:46:26.000 Let's soften it up.
00:46:27.000 You can have some ying-yang or something like that.
00:46:29.000 I don't want you to have any more wine, Gerald.
00:46:31.000 You get sloppy and today I don't have a... I'm relying on you for the fact-checking, so... Excuse me, sir.
00:46:36.000 Whoa, whoa, whoa!
00:46:37.000 Cease fire!
00:46:37.000 Calm down!
00:46:38.000 Keep it down!
00:46:39.000 Hey, you're both drinking alcohol.
00:46:40.000 Just enjoy it.
00:46:43.000 That's fair.
00:46:44.000 Yeah.
00:46:44.000 Okay.
00:46:44.000 Okay, fine.
00:46:47.000 Okay, let's check in on Laura Luber.
00:46:50.000 I would say, Laura Luber!
00:46:51.000 Uh-oh.
00:46:56.000 You know what Ron DeSantis, if I get fat it's your fault too, okay?
00:46:59.000 It is your fault.
00:47:00.000 It is your fault if I can't fit.
00:47:02.000 Why does she have so much pudding?
00:47:04.000 Was she eating pudding the whole night?
00:47:07.000 What is this gimmick?
00:47:09.000 Good at my caloric deficit recently and I have lost so much weight and I'm gonna blame you if I gain weight from eating this chocolate pudding tonight.
00:47:19.000 Love her shirt.
00:47:20.000 I love the red.
00:47:21.000 I love the red, Laura.
00:47:22.000 Somebody said I had a cup worth of pudding.
00:47:24.000 She's got the red Ultra Maga shirt on.
00:47:27.000 Little red.
00:47:28.000 Alright, so what are your questions tonight?
00:47:29.000 Put your questions in the chat.
00:47:30.000 I know we have a couple Super Chats, so let's... I think that's just the lights in the background, but she's got the red bracelet, the red nails.
00:47:37.000 For the red state debate!
00:47:40.000 I like it.
00:47:41.000 I like it!
00:47:43.000 What else?
00:47:44.000 What else we got going on?
00:47:47.000 Boring.
00:47:48.000 What's going on here?
00:47:49.000 Elijah's still on?
00:47:52.000 This is a replay?
00:47:54.000 This must be a replay.
00:47:58.000 I'm having like an allergic reaction.
00:48:00.000 I'm wheezing.
00:48:02.000 What else?
00:48:04.000 What's this?
00:48:14.000 Alright, you know, I just can't I I can't watch I can't I feel like I can't watch anything today everything I put on I'm not really I Don't really vibe with that.
00:48:32.000 Who's uh, we got rice gum and sneak.
00:48:34.000 Oh, let's sneak around.
00:48:36.000 It's probably on the right side There's no way to walk in through here
00:48:41.000 Hey, there's me.
00:48:47.000 What's he doing?
00:48:49.000 Governor of California is touching my butt.
00:48:54.000 I am Cornholio!
00:48:56.000 Chat's saying stuff about Gerald drinking wine, too.
00:48:58.000 What is that?
00:48:59.000 What's that?
00:49:00.000 What does it say?
00:49:01.000 Go to it, go to it.
00:49:02.000 You know, it's down there.
00:49:03.000 By the way, I'm sure someone's going to meme the Cosmo Kramer narrative going on right now.
00:49:07.000 It's true.
00:49:08.000 Well, that's my wife saying don't drink too much.
00:49:12.000 That's when he goes home and beats her.
00:49:13.000 I do not!
00:49:15.000 No.
00:49:15.000 No, no.
00:49:16.000 She asks for it.
00:49:16.000 They have a safe word.
00:49:17.000 The safe word is, stop beating me.
00:49:20.000 Well, that's three words, so that's why it never works.
00:49:22.000 It's supposed to be a safe word.
00:49:24.000 Alright, that sucks.
00:49:28.000 Okay, anyway, so we're watching the, if you're just joining us, we're watching the Gavin Newsom, Ron DeSantis debate.
00:49:35.000 I don't know who to root for.
00:49:36.000 You know, I don't agree with Newsom, but I don't like Ron DeSantis as a person, so... I'm, uh... I don't know, I'm not really rooting for anybody.
00:49:48.000 I guess I'm rooting for Newsom to humiliate DeSantis.
00:49:51.000 That's been the best part.
00:49:52.000 He should really just stick with that.
00:49:55.000 Like the best moment of the night so far is when he said that DeSantis is down 40 points.
00:50:00.000 I don't know why he doesn't say that just every single time.
00:50:06.000 Alright, we're back!
00:50:08.000 Hi, welcome back to Hannity, the Great Red State, Blue State Debate.
00:50:10.000 We continue with Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida, Governor Gavin Newsom of the state of California.
00:50:15.000 Gentlemen, let's turn to the issue of parental rights.
00:50:18.000 Now, in March of last year, Governor DeSantis, as you know, you signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill, and let me read from it.
00:50:27.000 It says, classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade three
00:50:37.000 Or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students and according with state standards.
00:50:45.000 Critics have called the bill quote homophobic.
00:50:48.000 This is the one they branded the don't say gay bill.
00:50:51.000 I ask you Governor DeSantis
00:50:53.000 In especially the lower grades, should schools, and maybe all grades, should schools be focusing on reading, writing, math, science, history, computers, and maybe leaving values, considering parents might have different values than teachers at school, to the parents, to religious institutions,
00:51:15.000 Or is it the role of the school?
00:51:17.000 What is the role?
00:51:18.000 The role of the school is to educate kids, not indoctrinate kids.
00:51:21.000 It's not to impose an agenda.
00:51:23.000 It's to do the basics.
00:51:25.000 And what we've said in Florida is it's inappropriate to tell a kindergartner that their gender is a choice.
00:51:31.000 It's inappropriate to tell a second grader that they may have been born in the wrong body.
00:51:34.000 Now, California has that.
00:51:36.000 They want to have that injected into the elementary school.
00:51:39.000 My wife and I have a 7'5 and a 3-year-old.
00:51:41.000 We don't think that that's appropriate.
00:51:43.000 This is pornography, it's cartoons, it's aimed at children, and it's wrong.
00:51:47.000 So this should not be...
00:52:12.000 In schools, when people like on the left say that somehow you're banning books by removing this from a young kid's classroom.
00:52:19.000 No, this is not age appropriate.
00:52:21.000 And so we're going to stand for the rights of parents.
00:52:23.000 I think we need to do that nationwide.
00:52:25.000 I don't think you can have a situation where some states just trample on the rights of parents.
00:52:30.000 Parents have a fundamental right to direct the education and upbringing of their kids.
00:52:34.000 By the way, you've been on a banning bench.
00:52:37.000 1,406 books have been banned just last year under Ron DeSantis' leadership.
00:52:41.000 I love that he keeps pulling this out.
00:52:43.000 I've seen this.
00:52:43.000 He's been doing this all over the campaign trail.
00:52:45.000 What's wrong with Toni Morrison's books?
00:52:47.000 It's not banned.
00:52:47.000 What's wrong?
00:52:48.000 It's not true.
00:52:49.000 What's wrong with Amanda Gorman's poetry?
00:52:52.000 1,406 books have been banned on your banning binge in the state of Florida.
00:53:00.000 As it relates to parental rights, come on.
00:53:03.000 California, it's in our Constitution, parental engagement.
00:53:05.000 It's called the LCFF process.
00:53:07.000 We actually require parental engagement on curriculum development.
00:53:11.000 And we don't, complete lie, we don't require K through 3rd grade sexual education.
00:53:17.000 That doesn't happen until middle school.
00:53:18.000 What you're doing is using education as a sword for your cultural purge.
00:53:24.000 And you know what?
00:53:24.000 With all due respect, you know, I remember in the 1970s, in the 1970s, we had a bill called the Briggs Initiative.
00:53:31.000 And there was a guy by the name of Ronald Reagan, so offended by the Briggs Initiative, which was the original Don't Say Gay Bill.
00:53:36.000 In that case, it was not allowing teachers that happened to be gay to teach.
00:53:40.000 And Reagan had the courage to stand up and he said, you can't catch gay like you can measles.
00:53:45.000 I don't like the way you demean people.
00:53:47.000 I don't like the way you demean
00:53:48.000 We're good.
00:54:07.000 Follow-up question for you though, and by the way, first governor, yes or no, is, are the book banning issues, is that not a state issue, is that a state issue or a local issue?
00:54:17.000 It's local, and he's... Okay, that's all I want to know.
00:54:19.000 The home book wasn't there, that was not okay.
00:54:21.000 Here's the question I have for you Governor Newsom.
00:54:25.000 Um, some of the books you're talking about, one is called, the governor just brought it up, it's called Gender Queer, a memoir, explicit pornographic book showing sex acts.
00:54:35.000 Another, Flamer, graphic book about young boys performing sex acts at summer camp.
00:54:41.000 This book is Gay, a book containing instructions on the ins and outs of gay sexuality.
00:54:46.000 Let me finish.
00:54:48.000 But let's talk about it, a book that contains graphic descriptions about how to masturbate for males and females.
00:54:53.000 My question to you, Governor Newsom, those books, do you believe that's appropriate for school districts to teach kids, yes or no?
00:55:01.000 Come on, those aren't, it's not part of the curriculum, they're not teaching kids.
00:55:04.000 Those are books that were in school.
00:55:06.000 Hold on, hold on.
00:55:07.000 The bottom line is, you are on a book banning binge, your state.
00:55:12.000 1,406 books.
00:55:15.000 3,362 in this country.
00:55:17.000 What about those books?
00:55:20.000 We don't provide for K-3rd grade education.
00:55:24.000 That kind of curriculum.
00:55:25.000 It's just made up.
00:55:26.000 These guys make it up.
00:55:27.000 It's part of this cultural purge.
00:55:29.000 Should it be?
00:55:30.000 What grade would it be?
00:55:32.000 What I find offensive, Sean and Ron, what I find offensive is that a very significant number of these books happen to be LGBTQ books.
00:55:41.000 A significant number of these books happen to be about African Americans.
00:55:44.000 And I just honestly find it offensive.
00:55:46.000 I told you, we don't teach that.
00:55:50.000 We have sex education in middle schools and high schools where it's appropriate.
00:55:53.000 This is a ginned up, made up issue to divide this country.
00:55:56.000 You talk about dividing this country?
00:55:58.000 This is part of the culture war, the weaponization of grievance.
00:56:01.000 This is part of using education.
00:56:03.000 We're focusing on math, science.
00:56:05.000 We're focusing on reimagining our schools.
00:56:07.000 We're going to get to education next.
00:56:08.000 He's criminalizing teachers and criminalizing librarians that check out the wrong book.
00:56:12.000 They've used the schools to impose a liberal agenda.
00:56:16.000 Social justice, they have this ethnic studies where they're dividing people.
00:56:19.000 That's what they're doing.
00:56:20.000 But let me just say something about parents' rights, because he says California respects parents' rights.
00:56:23.000 This is rich.
00:56:24.000 He's been telling a lot of whoppers tonight.
00:56:26.000 This may be the biggest.
00:56:27.000 In California, if you're a parent in Iowa or New Hampshire or South Carolina, if you're a minor child,
00:56:35.000 Can go to California without your knowledge or without your consent and get hormone therapy, puberty blockers, and a sex change operation all without you knowing or consenting?
00:56:46.000 How in the heck is that, you know, honoring parents' rights when you're bringing people from out of state to go around their parents' backs and getting life-altering surgeries?
00:56:59.000 That is an assault on parents' rights.
00:57:01.000 It's not for you to decide.
00:57:04.000 It's for the parents to decide.
00:57:05.000 And the parents do not want their kids going to these other things.
00:57:10.000 Let me stay on a follow up.
00:57:12.000 Let's turn to the issue of education.
00:57:16.000 Let us turn, gentlemen, if I may, to the issue of education.
00:57:32.000 Here is public school spending per K-12 students, according to the Education Data Initiative from the U.S.
00:57:40.000 Census Bureau and National Center for Education.
00:57:43.000 Florida spends nearly $12,000 per student, while California spends over $16,000.
00:57:50.000 Florida is ranked number one by U.S.
00:57:52.000 News & World Report.
00:57:54.000 In terms of state education rankings, California ranks 20th.
00:57:59.000 Governor Newsom.
00:58:00.000 What is your explanation?
00:58:01.000 You spend more money and they have better results in Florida.
00:58:05.000 Why?
00:58:05.000 I told you what I'm doing in public education.
00:58:07.000 We created a brand new grade, Pre-K for All.
00:58:10.000 We're doing after school and summer school for all.
00:58:12.000 We're reimagining the school day, not just the school year.
00:58:15.000 We just provided 3.4 million of our students upwards of $2 billion for child savings accounts and the opportunity to start businesses when they graduate.
00:58:26.000 We have one of the best records under COVID, during COVID.
00:58:30.000 And again, you didn't answer to the fact you had more learning loss.
00:58:34.000 Ron DeSantis had more learning loss during COVID.
00:58:37.000 Fourth grade reading, fourth grade math, eighth grade reading, eighth grade math.
00:58:41.000 We outperformed you in every, it's a fact, during COVID, in every one of those categories.
00:58:46.000 I'm, I'm, I can't wait to get all the PolitiFacts tonight, because Ron, you keep denying some basic fundamental facts on health,
00:58:53.000 Well,
00:59:10.000 Well, when we opened the schools, we bucked all of those people June of 2020.
00:59:14.000 He kept the schools closed for a long time and that had devastating impacts.
00:59:18.000 And why?
00:59:19.000 What Gavin Newsom does in California is kowtow to the teachers union.
00:59:24.000 Whatever they tell him to do, he does.
00:59:26.000 He will never buck the teachers union.
00:59:28.000 That's why the kids were locked out of school for so long.
00:59:31.000 Joe Biden is in the pocket of the teachers union and so is Kamala Harris.
00:59:35.000 That's why they fought school openings.
00:59:37.000 I think?
00:59:55.000 I beat the teachers union in Florida to get the schools open first in the country during COVID.
01:00:00.000 Also to do universal school choice.
01:00:02.000 Every parent in Florida has a right to send their kid to the school of their choice.
01:00:06.000 We're winning these fights.
01:00:08.000 California is bending the knee to the union because they control the politicians.
01:00:12.000 This is a topic that will seemingly play a very large role in the future elections, and it's the issue of abortion.
01:00:19.000 I have a question for both of you.
01:00:21.000 I'll ask you to please respect the individual's right to answer uninterrupted.
01:00:27.000 And that is, Governor DeSantis, I think it's actually your turn, Governor Newsom, if you don't mind.
01:00:33.000 All good.
01:00:33.000 Most medical professionals believe a baby is viable.
01:00:37.000 Outside of a mother's womb, by between 24 and 26 weeks.
01:00:41.000 That is the general scientific consensus.
01:00:43.000 It changes.
01:00:44.000 There are some variations on it.
01:00:46.000 Abortion is legal in your state, quote, up to viability, is my understanding.
01:00:50.000 Unless the mother's health is in danger.
01:00:53.000 I'd like to get you on the record.
01:00:56.000 You've been unwilling to answer this question.
01:00:58.000 Do you, should there be any restrictions on the issue of abortion that you support at all?
01:01:06.000 Because funding in California, you have allocated in your budget $265 million for abortion last year alone.
01:01:14.000 My question, very specific.
01:01:17.000 Do you support any restrictions at all on abortion, especially among 7, 8, and 9, past viability?
01:01:24.000 I'm going to answer that question, but let's talk about the issue of abortion.
01:01:27.000 Let's talk about the issue of abortion.
01:01:29.000 You're going to answer it?
01:01:29.000 I'm going to answer that question.
01:01:31.000 I'll repeat that.
01:01:32.000 But I think this is important and it bears repeating.
01:01:35.000 Ron DeSantis signed the most extreme anti-abortion bills in America.
01:01:40.000 He signed a bill banning any exceptions for rape and incest.
01:01:45.000 And then he said it didn't go far enough and decided to sign a six-week ban.
01:01:50.000 Before women even know they're pregnant, Ron.
01:01:53.000 Before women can even access a doctor's appointment.
01:01:57.000 So extreme is your ban that criminalizes women and criminalizes doctors that even Donald Trump said it was too extreme.
01:02:07.000 On the issue of the extreme exception,
01:02:09.000 So in other words, I want to be clear on this.
01:02:27.000 If a woman and her doctor, for any reason... Not for any reason.
01:02:31.000 No, no, no, no.
01:02:31.000 It's extremely rare.
01:02:33.000 Should there be... I know where you guys are going, Sean.
01:02:35.000 You're even uncomfortable with this whole issue.
01:02:37.000 And I understand it.
01:02:39.000 This is where you guys have to go to cover for the extreme anti-abortion agenda of Ron DeSantis.
01:02:45.000 Would you support a ban on abortion in 7th, 8th, or 9th month if the mother's life is not in jeopardy?
01:02:53.000 Extreme, extreme exception.
01:02:56.000 People aren't going on and having abortions.
01:02:58.000 Should it be illegal then?
01:03:00.000 If it's rare, should it be illegal?
01:03:01.000 It should be up to the mother and her doctor and her conscience.
01:03:05.000 So the answer is, no restrictions?
01:03:07.000 I've already answered it, and I'll just reinforce it.
01:03:10.000 To cover up, again, hold on, for the most extreme abortion ban in the country.
01:03:14.000 I have a simple question though, this is important.
01:03:15.000 No, no, no, no, I'm asking the question.
01:03:17.000 Ron DeSantis, will you or will you not sign a six-week ban in the unlikely case you govern the United States?
01:03:23.000 Let's talk about your state.
01:03:27.000 You had 15 weeks.
01:03:29.000 You had a 15-week rule in California.
01:03:31.000 You reduced it to six.
01:03:33.000 My question is this.
01:03:36.000 What was your thinking behind it?
01:03:37.000 Was it for religious reasons?
01:03:39.000 Was it for scientific reasons?
01:03:42.000 What was the reason for you from going from 15 weeks to six weeks?
01:03:49.000 Well, I believe in a culture of life.
01:03:50.000 I think we're better off when everybody counts, when everybody has an opportunity to do well.
01:03:55.000 And that bill attaches when there's a detectable heartbeat for the child.
01:04:01.000 And some states have done that.
01:04:02.000 Some states have done others.
01:04:04.000 Some states have done later.
01:04:05.000 And obviously they have a right to do that.
01:04:08.000 But I think about one of our Floridians, a lady named Penny Hopper.
01:04:11.000 She actually survived a late term abortion back in the day.
01:04:15.000 And they left her on the table there to basically wither away.
01:04:20.000 Her grandmother came, saved her.
01:04:23.000 Brought her to a hospital, brought her, saved her, and she ended up living a good life.
01:04:29.000 So she counts and she matters.
01:04:31.000 And I think that what the position that we have from the modern left, including in California, is that they will take your tax dollars and they will fund abortion all the way to the moment of birth.
01:04:43.000 He's wrong when he says the later terms are all because of this.
01:04:47.000 88% past 15 weeks are in fact elective from the Florida data.
01:04:52.000 He doesn't keep data there.
01:04:53.000 But that is really extreme to take your tax dollars and to do this all the way up to the moment of birth.
01:05:00.000 He didn't answer your question about any type of protections at all for a baby that has a beating heart, that can feel pain, that is viable.
01:05:09.000 Let me, let me... Hold on.
01:05:11.000 This is an important conversation.
01:05:13.000 Will you or will you not support a national... You didn't answer Sean.
01:05:16.000 Why didn't you answer his question?
01:05:17.000 Why didn't you support?
01:05:18.000 Why?
01:05:18.000 Okay, gentlemen, we're moving on to the next issue.
01:05:26.000 No, Sean, not a next issue.
01:05:27.000 You never gave a week.
01:05:28.000 The American people should know this.
01:05:29.000 I'll answer it for Ron DeSantis.
01:05:31.000 He can't answer it.
01:05:32.000 He will sign that extreme six-week action plan.
01:05:34.000 Okay, let me move on.
01:05:35.000 The American people should know this.
01:05:36.000 I'm calling this the lightning round.
01:05:38.000 It would be great if you guys cooperated.
01:05:40.000 I'm not a potted plant here.
01:05:42.000 And I want to ask you, we all know that federal policy does have a huge impact on states.
01:05:47.000 We know that.
01:05:48.000 I'm going to ask you three simple questions, and I just want one-word answers, okay?
01:05:53.000 From three of you, because we're coming up on a break.
01:05:56.000 And the issue is right now, Joe Biden is president.
01:05:59.000 So, I would like both of you to give a grade to Joe Biden overall as president.
01:06:05.000 Governor Newsom, I'll give an A. An A, absolutely.
01:06:08.000 I think it's been a masterpiece.
01:06:09.000 Governor DeSantis failed.
01:06:11.000 A failure, okay.
01:06:12.000 Now, number two, are his policies helping or hurting your individual states?
01:06:17.000 Is it helping the state of Florida?
01:06:18.000 Inflation is hurting our state big time.
01:06:20.000 A grade?
01:06:22.000 I have played over and over again, and Governor Newsom, you have seen over and over again.
01:06:49.000 Joe Biden has experienced what I believe to be significant cognitive decline.
01:06:55.000 And in other words, it's the toughest job in the world.
01:06:58.000 Is Joe Biden experiencing this cognitive decline?
01:07:03.000 Is it a danger to the country?
01:07:05.000 Do you find when he speaks, what is your reaction to it?
01:07:09.000 Yes, he's in decline.
01:07:11.000 Yes, it's a danger to the country.
01:07:12.000 He has no business running for president.
01:07:14.000 And, you know, Gavin Newsom agrees with that.
01:07:16.000 He won't say that.
01:07:16.000 That's why he's running his shadow campaign.
01:07:19.000 He should not be running.
01:07:21.000 He is not up to the job.
01:07:23.000 And it is dangerous for this country.
01:07:24.000 Well, I'll take... I will take Joe Biden at a high level.
01:07:26.000 I don't
01:07:42.000 Inflation now is down to 3.2 percent.
01:07:44.000 Wages are up to 4.4 percent.
01:07:46.000 The economy is booming.
01:07:47.000 5.2 percent GDP growth in the last quarter.
01:07:50.000 Those are facts you don't hear on Fox News.
01:07:52.000 Fourteen million jobs, ten times more than last three.
01:07:57.000 March 31st, 1968, President Lyndon B. Johnson famously said, I shall not seek and I will not accept the nomination of my party for another term as your president.
01:08:10.000 Now, despite being an incumbent president who is eligible to run for re-election, Governor Newsom
01:08:16.000 I've interviewed you twice on this issue.
01:08:17.000 You say you are not running for president in 2024.
01:08:21.000 In fact, you recently said, quote, you think that Vice President Harris is naturally the one lined up to run for president if Joe Biden were to bow out.
01:08:31.000 Governor Newsom, tonight I ask you, will you make an LBJ-like statement?
01:08:36.000 And Governor DeSantis, you say he's running a shadow campaign.
01:08:40.000 In your response, I would like you to answer that.
01:08:42.000 Will you say, unequivocally, under no circumstances, are you running?
01:08:46.000 Correct.
01:08:46.000 I've said it.
01:08:47.000 I don't know how many times I can say it.
01:08:48.000 He's just making this stuff up about a shadow campaign.
01:08:50.000 If at the DNC convention they come and ask you, will you run, what will you say?
01:08:55.000 Joe Biden will be our nominee in a matter of weeks.
01:08:58.000 And in a matter of weeks, Sean, he'll be endorsing Donald Trump as the nominee for the Republican Party.
01:09:04.000 If they come to you at the DNC and Joe is incapable of running and they ask you, are you a hard no?
01:09:09.000 It's not even optional.
01:09:10.000 He's doing fantastically.
01:09:12.000 I think what he's saying should color every single thing.
01:09:30.000 We're good to go.
01:09:48.000 How are those interest rates doing?
01:09:49.000 What about affording a new car?
01:09:51.000 So we have to get real here, we have to understand that Biden is not up to it.
01:09:55.000 But here's I think the problem.
01:09:57.000 What Biden would do, the people around him, they would look to California for the model to go forward in the next four years.
01:10:06.000 That would accelerate the decline of this country.
01:10:09.000 Freedom is what works.
01:10:11.000 The failures need to be left in the dustbin of history.
01:10:14.000 Tell that freedom to women that you're trying to criminalize in your state.
01:10:18.000 Alright, we're retreating to old ground.
01:10:20.000 Spare me this notion of freedom.
01:10:22.000 The Lord is not a state of freedom.
01:10:24.000 One of the things I want to accomplish here is the policies that you both implement have a great impact on the citizens of your individual states.
01:10:31.000 For years a gallon of gasoline, Governor Newsom, in California has been notably higher
01:10:37.000 In your state, than in the state of Florida.
01:10:40.000 That's right.
01:10:40.000 Here are the numbers, by the way, recent numbers.
01:10:42.000 The average cost for a gallon of gas nationwide, just over $3.24.
01:10:46.000 In Florida, $3.17.
01:10:48.000 In California, it is a whopping $4.85.
01:10:54.000 So Governor Newsom, I ask you, you've also sued big oil companies, alleging executives have deceived the public
01:11:02.000 About the health of our planet, knowing that it's a polluter.
01:11:06.000 If your lawsuit is successful, that would likely mean higher gas prices, even higher gas prices for everybody.
01:11:12.000 Here's my question, though.
01:11:13.000 Could you name, right now, one source of energy that you can bring online in the next three to six months that would be as inexpensive for the people in this country as fossil fuels?
01:11:26.000 Let me touch on that.
01:11:29.000 I'm going to get to your question, or the latter part of your question.
01:11:33.000 Let me get to the first part of the question.
01:11:35.000 You're absolutely right.
01:11:36.000 Since the 1980s, Republican administrations, Democratic administrations have experienced, under their stewardship, have experienced higher gas prices in the state of California.
01:11:46.000 We've been ripped off by big oil.
01:11:48.000 We continue to be ripped off by big oil.
01:11:52.000 Big oil now has met a new foe, and that's the state of California.
01:11:56.000 The most aggressive anti-gouging law in America.
01:12:00.000 More transparency being required than any time in America.
01:12:03.000 And yes, we're suing.
01:12:06.000 We're suing the industry responsible for this climate crisis.
01:12:09.000 By the way, the same climate crisis that Ron DeSantis celebrated as human
01:12:15.000 Human-caused, who campaigned for a fracking ban, who campaigned to oppose offshore oil drilling, and then two days after he got elected, signed an executive order—by the way, Nikki Haley had you dead to right on this, Ron—signed an executive order doubling down, saying you're adamantly opposed to fracking, adamantly opposed to offshore oil drilling.
01:12:36.000 You were celebrated by the Sierra Club for that action.
01:12:40.000 Until you weren't.
01:12:41.000 Once again, it shows the hypocrisy of Ron DeSantis.
01:12:44.000 Now you're running away from climate change as things have gotten worse.
01:12:47.000 Hurricanes, wildfires, droughts, and floods.
01:12:52.000 $179 billion of weather-related disasters.
01:12:56.000 And he has no response except talking points from Big Oil.
01:13:00.000 That was a mouthful.
01:13:01.000 Again, just more lies.
01:13:01.000 But here's the thing.
01:13:05.000 California is the only one that oil companies are gouging.
01:13:08.000 Why aren't they doing that to Georgia or Florida or these other states that have lower gas prices?
01:13:11.000 It's because of their policies.
01:13:13.000 That's why people are paying more there.
01:13:14.000 What Gavin Newsom wants to do, what he's doing in California, what Biden wants to do nationally is government dictated green energy policies.
01:13:23.000 They want to kneecap fossil fuels and reliable energy.
01:13:27.000 We've already seen what's happened in California.
01:13:29.000 They have rolling blackouts.
01:13:30.000 He actually implemented a mandate to buy electric vehicles.
01:13:35.000 So pretty soon in California, you're not going to be able to buy a normal car, only electric vehicles.
01:13:40.000 And they celebrated that as like a great thing.
01:13:41.000 A couple days later, there was a notice from the state government telling all EV owners, do not plug in your EV because they don't have enough grid capacity.
01:13:50.000 So he is walking his people into a big time disaster.
01:13:54.000 What Biden wants to do is he wants to take the California model.
01:13:57.000 He wants to impose that nationally.
01:13:59.000 He wants to take away your ability to purchase the car that you want.
01:14:03.000 He wants to kneecap reliable energy.
01:14:04.000 And he wants to bring these rolling blackouts all across the United States of America.
01:14:10.000 It doesn't work.
01:14:11.000 It's going to cause huge problems.
01:14:13.000 We have more energy here.
01:14:14.000 We can be the dominant energy producer in the world.
01:14:17.000 And that's what we're going to do.
01:14:19.000 Florida's not a big energy state.
01:14:21.000 We have the Marcellus Hill.
01:14:22.000 We have the West Texas.
01:14:23.000 Wow.
01:14:23.000 Great stuff, really.
01:14:24.000 Great.
01:14:24.000 Yeah, I mean, honestly, I don't like DeSantis, but of course, agree with him.
01:14:52.000 Because, I mean, he's just right about the contradiction there with the electric cars and the problem of intermittency with the green energy.
01:15:06.000 It's true, you can't have them both like that.
01:15:10.000 And all the rest of it on abortion, etc.
01:15:12.000 But it just feels so tedious.
01:15:15.000 I don't know about you guys, but whenever I see Republicans and Democrats going at it, I'm just not interested.
01:15:21.000 I feel like we've
01:15:23.000 We sort of already know that children shouldn't be reading books with pornography in them.
01:15:33.000 We know that abortion shouldn't be allowed up until the pregnancy or rather the birth.
01:15:40.000 We know that the climate stuff is a hoax and the
01:15:46.000 Green energy thing is a scam.
01:15:48.000 So whenever they do these right-left debates, people always say to me, well you never go after the left.
01:15:53.000 I'm so uninterested in hearing from the left.
01:15:58.000 Because it's so ridiculous, but, uh, anyway.
01:16:01.000 So I find this debate to be pretty tedious.
01:16:03.000 I wear a mask every day, okay?
01:16:03.000 Tunnels to towers, bro.
01:16:04.000 Also, I sell tequila and sneakers.
01:16:06.000 Let's see what else we got going on.
01:16:11.000 If I were there, it wouldn't go down like that.
01:16:15.000 The car's transforming.
01:16:16.000 Yeah.
01:16:17.000 I thought it was a car, turns out it was bumblebee.
01:16:20.000 Oh my god.
01:16:23.000 You think this is funny?
01:16:24.000 What are you, some kind of chink who's getting mad about my Calvin Klein underwear?
01:16:29.000 It's uh, four days.
01:16:51.000 Yeah, slim pickings here.
01:16:52.000 Not a lot of options.
01:16:53.000 Yeah, pretty good stuff.
01:16:54.000 How about Kim Iverson?
01:16:55.000 What's she up to?
01:17:24.000 No, the odds are normal now.
01:17:27.000 Damn, I got the good odds on that bitch.
01:17:33.000 I hate the gambling, man.
01:17:34.000 Really anti-gambling.
01:17:36.000 There, and he's just spreading his buttcheeks.
01:17:38.000 Spreading them.
01:17:39.000 Okay.
01:17:42.000 Like I said, man, yeah, it's kind of a weird night here on Rumble.
01:17:47.000 With the pudding and spreading buttcheeks.
01:17:58.000 Okay, man.
01:18:03.000 A lot of great content.
01:18:05.000 Well, what are you guys up to, huh?
01:18:06.000 What do we think in the live chat?
01:18:08.000 Who's winning this debate?
01:18:09.000 How about let's do a one in the live chat if you think DeSantis is winning.
01:18:14.000 Two in the live chat if you think Gavin Newsom's winning.
01:18:18.000 One for DeSantis, two for Newsom.
01:18:21.000 I have to say, I think DeSantis is winning.
01:18:24.000 Although, it's pretty even, if I'm being honest.
01:18:27.000 They're both just talking past each other.
01:18:31.000 And the moderator's not helping because he's on DeSantis' side.
01:18:36.000 Everyone says Newsom.
01:18:37.000 A lot of twos in the chat.
01:18:39.000 Everybody's saying they think Newsom is winning.
01:18:41.000 Yeah, he's doing pretty good, I suppose.
01:18:43.000 I feel like DeSantis is winning.
01:18:45.000 Maybe it's just because I agree with him, though.
01:18:50.000 But I feel like it's DeSantis.
01:18:51.000 I'm bored though.
01:18:52.000 Boring!
01:18:53.000 Politics without Trump?
01:18:54.000 Not interested.
01:18:56.000 Not interested.
01:18:57.000 I think it sucks.
01:18:59.000 You take Trump out of the equation, it's just not even worth it.
01:19:03.000 That's just this tedious, you know, conservative versus liberal.
01:19:09.000 The California model is what they, Biden-Harris, want to bring to the country.
01:19:13.000 Like, shut the fuck up.
01:19:14.000 Continue with Governor Gavin Newsom, Governor Ron DeSantis.
01:19:18.000 According to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, these are the numbers for the homeless population in each of your states.
01:19:26.000 It is a big problem around the country.
01:19:28.000 In the state of California, it is 172,000.
01:19:32.000 In Florida, it is 26,000.
01:19:34.000 Now, the per capita numbers are pretty much the same.
01:19:37.000 For California, it is 44 per 10,000 people, while Florida has 12 per 10,000 people.
01:19:44.000 So, Governor DeSantis, I ask you, why the disparity?
01:19:49.000 What are the policies you are implementing that is different from that of California?
01:19:54.000 California's adopting leftist policies.
01:19:56.000 Gavin Newsom was governor or mayor of San Francisco.
01:19:59.000 He put out a 10-year plan like 20 years ago.
01:20:02.000 He was going to end homelessness.
01:20:03.000 Then, a few years later, he had another plan.
01:20:05.000 And now he says he's going to do, and it's only gotten worse.
01:20:07.000 In the last 10 years in California, the homeless has gone up 45%.
01:20:10.000 It's gone down in Florida 45%.
01:20:13.000 But it's caused a huge problem with quality of life in California.
01:20:18.000 The people that flee always bring up this.
01:20:20.000 They've really empowered lawlessness and drug use.
01:20:23.000 And you know, Gavin Newsom at one point tried to say that California was the freedom state.
01:20:27.000 I just kind of laughed, like you're locking people down, you're doing all this.
01:20:29.000 But then I thought about it, you know, California does have freedoms that some people don't, that other states don't.
01:20:35.000 You have the freedom to defecate in public in California.
01:20:38.000 You have the freedom to pitch a tent on Sunset Boulevard.
01:20:41.000 You have the freedom to create a homeless encampment under a freeway and even light it on fire.
01:20:45.000 You have the freedom to have an open-air drug market and use drugs.
01:20:49.000 You have the freedom, if you're an illegal alien, to get all these taxpayer benefits.
01:20:53.000 So those are freedoms.
01:20:54.000 They're not the freedoms our founding fathers envisioned, but they have contributed to the destruction of the quality of life in California, and the results speak for themselves.
01:21:03.000 People are leaving the state because they have failed in addressing the homeless population.
01:21:08.000 Well, I love the rant on freedom.
01:21:10.000 I mean, here's a guy who's criminalizing teachers, criminalizing doctors, criminalizing librarians, and criminalizing women that seek their reproductive care.
01:21:18.000 You're making it harder to vote.
01:21:19.000 You're banning books.
01:21:21.000 I mean, spare me this notion of freedom.
01:21:23.000 Ask the folks at Disney about freedom and free enterprise.
01:21:26.000 Ask the folks at the Special Olympics that you threatened to fine with $27,000.
01:21:31.000 Because they were discriminating against the athletes!
01:21:33.000 Who goes after Special Olympians when it comes to the issue of homelessness?
01:21:37.000 Ron, that is wrong.
01:21:38.000 That's being a liberal bully.
01:21:40.000 That's being a bully.
01:21:41.000 They had Down Syndrome and you wanted to discriminate against them.
01:21:45.000 They were discriminating against Special Olympians because they were discriminating against the athletes.
01:21:50.000 They wanted to marginalize the athletes and you wanted the athletes marginalized.
01:21:54.000 That was wrong what you did.
01:21:55.000 These are kids with Down Syndrome.
01:21:57.000 They just wanted to compete and you wanted them out of the Special Olympics.
01:22:02.000 You're a liberal bully.
01:22:03.000 You wanted them to be ostracized.
01:22:06.000 You should talk to Isabella from Florida.
01:22:10.000 She got to participate because we stood up for her rights.
01:22:18.000 I can handle it.
01:22:19.000 I'm used to that.
01:22:20.000 But you know what?
01:22:21.000 Your attacks on the trans community, your attacks on the gay and lesbian community, you attack vulnerable communities, you attack women.
01:22:28.000 Again, Ron, relax.
01:22:31.000 I can handle it.
01:22:32.000 I'm used to bullying.
01:22:33.000 You're nothing but a bully.
01:22:35.000 You're a bully.
01:22:35.000 I understand that.
01:22:36.000 Intimidating and humiliating people, that's your calling card.
01:22:39.000 Why did you want the Special Olympians not to be able to compete?
01:22:40.000 And by the way, how well is it going for you?
01:22:42.000 Why did you want them not to be able to compete?
01:22:43.000 How well is this campaign going?
01:22:45.000 Why do you not want them to be able to compete?
01:22:46.000 He's not going to let me talk, so I'll talk to the American people.
01:22:49.000 I don't understand why you want to discriminate against them.
01:22:53.000 Again, I'll remind you that the blueprint, the blueprint for Florida has put Ron DeSantis 41 points down to Donald Trump as you try to get tough and out-Trump Trump.
01:23:01.000 Let's go back.
01:23:01.000 On the issue of homelessness, it's been an issue for decades, decades in the making in the state of California, ever since we started shuttering down our mental health institutions back in the day, in Ronald Reagan's day.
01:23:13.000 The difference is I'm the first governor in California history to take this head-on.
01:23:18.000 We are investing unprecedented resources, more accountability.
01:23:21.000 We've gotten 68,000 people off the streets.
01:23:24.000 Close to 6,000 encampments we've gotten off the streets.
01:23:28.000 We've also invested in unprecedented resources in reforming our behavioral health system.
01:23:33.000 Ron has literally the worst mental health system in America, forgive me, outside of Mississippi and Texas.
01:23:41.000 And so with all due respect to being lectured on some of these topics, Ron DeSantis is not the one I'm going to be listening to.
01:23:49.000 This is a map of San Francisco.
01:23:54.000 There's a lot of plots on that.
01:23:56.000 You may be asking, what is that plotting?
01:23:58.000 Well, this is an app where they plot the human feces that are found on the streets of San Francisco.
01:24:04.000 And you see how almost the whole thing is covered, because that is what has happened in one of the previous greatest cities this country's ever had.
01:24:12.000 Human feces is now a fact of life, except
01:24:16.000 When a communist dictator comes to town, then they cleaned up the streets.
01:24:20.000 They lined the streets with Chinese flags.
01:24:22.000 They didn't put American flags there.
01:24:23.000 They cleaned everything up.
01:24:25.000 So they're willing to do it for a communist dictator, but they're not willing to do it for their own country.
01:24:32.000 There are two very important issues we have not hit.
01:24:34.000 After the Hamas terror attacks on October the 7th, we have seen what is nothing short of a disturbing outbreak of virulent hatred, anti-Semitism around the world in the halls of our Congress, on American streets, on college campuses.
01:24:51.000 Last month, outside in Sydney Opera House,
01:24:55.000 In Australia, we've seen it all over Europe, but in Australia, anti-Israeli protesters literally in this day and age chanting, gas the Jews, F the Jews.
01:25:05.000 In American cities, we have protesters calling for global Islamic war and demanding that Israel be wiped off the map, or in the words of Congresswoman Tlaib, from the river to the sea.
01:25:16.000 Israel, meanwhile, is vowing to eradicate the terrorist group Hamas.
01:25:20.000 But according to a report in the New York Times this week, U.S.
01:25:22.000 officials have warned Israel that they need more to fight more surgically in Gaza.
01:25:30.000 Governor Newsom, 30 seconds for you.
01:25:32.000 We have to cut back on time.
01:25:34.000 How can Israel win the war against this terrorist group using surgical strikes and directions from Joe Biden?
01:25:41.000 I visited Israel.
01:25:42.000 I met with families, hostages.
01:25:44.000 I saw videos of children being killed in front of their parents.
01:25:47.000 Parents being killed in front of their children.
01:25:49.000 I saw a beheading with a garden hoe.
01:25:53.000 This is not complicated to me.
01:25:55.000 This is a fight between good and evil.
01:25:58.000 Hamas
01:26:14.000 You're calling him anti-semitic?
01:26:14.000 For the sake of fairness of time, gentlemen, I think that Hamas runs nothing short.
01:26:31.000 Then a second Holocaust.
01:26:32.000 They want to destroy Israel and wipe every single Jew off the map.
01:26:37.000 Israel has every right to defend itself to the hilt.
01:26:40.000 Biden should not be kneecapping them in any way, shape or form.
01:26:43.000 And by the way, Biden stranded a lot of American citizens over there.
01:26:46.000 We're trying to get home.
01:26:47.000 So I did an executive order in Florida and we sent planes over to Israel right in the aftermath of October 7th.
01:26:53.000 And we saved over 700 Americans, mostly Floridians, but not all.
01:26:57.000 I don't know.
01:27:19.000 We don't have a lot of time.
01:27:22.000 I want to turn to the issue, gentlemen, of China.
01:27:26.000 I talk about this often.
01:27:27.000 Intellectual property theft, unfair trade practices.
01:27:32.000 China has been hostile to our fighter jets in international airspace, hostile to our Navy in international waterways.
01:27:39.000 We know all about the China spy balloon that happened eight days right across the United States over military installations.
01:27:46.000 The Communist Chinese, they have nationals buying up thousands of acres of ranch land, farmland, and land near military installations.
01:27:53.000 Their hostility towards Taiwan.
01:27:55.000 They are, Governor DeSantis, our number one geopolitical foe.
01:27:59.000 I don't see that the Biden administration has been tough with them.
01:28:02.000 What would you do differently?
01:28:04.000 Well first, in Florida, we banned China from buying land in our state because you're right, you don't want them buying farmland or land near military bases.
01:28:10.000 So we acted.
01:28:11.000 We also got the Confucius Institutes out of our universities.
01:28:14.000 China should not be involved in our universities at all.
01:28:17.000 What you need to do is you need to have hard power in the Indo-Pacific to deter China's ambitions.
01:28:23.000 You need to take the economy and we need to decouple from China.
01:28:26.000 We're dependent on them for so many things.
01:28:29.000 And then finally, we need to get serious about their influence in this country.
01:28:32.000 They shouldn't be able to buy farmland anywhere.
01:28:34.000 I can tell you this, I would not go to China and grovel in front of Xi like Gavin Newsom did.
01:28:39.000 He says China's a partner on climate change.
01:28:43.000 China's adding two new coal plants every year.
01:28:45.000 China's laughing at us with what they're doing.
01:28:49.000 So yes, they're the number one threat we face, and we need to take it seriously, and Joe Biden is not doing that.
01:28:54.000 This is just a reminder, you know, I think it's a question some people are probably asking.
01:28:59.000 I know Nikki Haley's campaign is asking, when are you going to drop out and at least give Nikki Haley a shot to take down Donald Trump in this nomination?
01:29:07.000 She laid you out.
01:29:08.000 You're a walking hypocrite.
01:29:10.000 You're a walking hypocrite on the issue of China.
01:29:13.000 This is the guy that was looking for direct foreign trade from China, was doing trade shows.
01:29:17.000 That is false.
01:29:18.000 That's already been debunked.
01:29:19.000 That's absolutely true.
01:29:21.000 Even the liberal fact checkers did that.
01:29:23.000 Donald Trump himself today called you Red Ron for a reason because of your complete hypocrisy.
01:29:30.000 Alright, we're almost out of time.
01:29:31.000 Again, talking a big game.
01:29:32.000 I confronted Xi on the issue of fentanyl, Ron.
01:29:35.000 I confronted them on human rights.
01:29:37.000 Not on human rights you didn't.
01:29:38.000 I absolutely did with the Foreign Minister and the Vice President and other leaders in China.
01:29:42.000 You talk a big game.
01:29:43.000 Meanwhile, you haven't done anything except tweet
01:29:45.000 Final question.
01:29:47.000 Governor DeSantis, we owe you about 90 seconds, but you get the last word as per the coin flip.
01:29:53.000 What are you giving me?
01:29:53.000 Five seconds?
01:29:54.000 What do I get?
01:29:55.000 No, I'll do it.
01:29:56.000 I'll be a little more generous than that.
01:30:00.000 It's been a very passionate debate tonight.
01:30:02.000 Actually, it's been fun to be a part of.
01:30:03.000 I think the American people will decide.
01:30:06.000 Governing philosophies could not be more different.
01:30:08.000 But let me ask you this, kind of a fun question.
01:30:11.000 You both clearly love your states.
01:30:14.000 You visited each other's state.
01:30:16.000 Governor DeSantis, you can take as much time as you want.
01:30:20.000 You have an extra 90 seconds.
01:30:22.000 What is your favorite thing about the state of California?
01:30:25.000 I'll give him five minutes for this.
01:30:27.000 That's a good question.
01:30:28.000 Alright, we'll stay longer.
01:30:30.000 Five minutes, Governor.
01:30:31.000 When I got orders as a Navy Lieutenant to go to Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, I had not spent any real time in California in my life.
01:30:39.000 Florida native, and I'm very proud of the state, but I got down there, and that strand is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, and then all up and down, just a tremendous coastline.
01:30:49.000 I do believe California has more natural advantages than any state in the country, which is why, when you have so many people leaving on net,
01:30:58.000 That's hard to do.
01:30:59.000 People don't want to leave there because it really is such a beautiful area.
01:31:03.000 And I'm proud of the military installations that are there.
01:31:06.000 I'm proud of what the Navy's been able to do in conjunction with the state.
01:31:11.000 It was really important duty.
01:31:13.000 It really helped forge me as an individual and as an American.
01:31:17.000 And so I'll always have very, very fond memories of that nice strand down there in Southern California.
01:31:22.000 I love that.
01:31:23.000 I don't know what you love about California.
01:31:27.000 What do you love about Florida?
01:31:30.000 What I love about your question is the comedy in the question.
01:31:32.000 Meaning, you know what?
01:31:33.000 We all want to be loved.
01:31:34.000 We need to be loved.
01:31:35.000 We all want to be protected, respected and connected.
01:31:37.000 I think there is a unity frame here.
01:31:40.000 You said it well.
01:31:42.000 Ron, I have no doubt, Ron DeSantis loves this country.
01:31:45.000 I love this country.
01:31:45.000 It's not about red versus blue.
01:31:47.000 It's red, white, and blue.
01:31:49.000 The United States of America.
01:31:50.000 And I think we're all better off and we're all better off.
01:31:52.000 And so I appreciate this conversation.
01:31:54.000 I appreciate you, Ron, being a family man.
01:31:58.000 You've got three incredible kids.
01:31:59.000 I appreciate your wife, your sacrifice, and I appreciate your military service.
01:32:04.000 But I also appreciate we do have fundamental differences about the fate and future of this country.
01:32:07.000 And that's why I'm going to be working so hard
01:32:10.000 To get Joe Biden and Kamala Harris re-elected in 2024.
01:32:13.000 You couldn't resist.
01:32:14.000 You had to go right back to 2024.
01:32:18.000 Alright, here's the last question.
01:32:19.000 Would you do this again?
01:32:20.000 I hope we could do another half hour.
01:32:25.000 Joe Biden should show up to a debate.
01:32:28.000 I have another 20 minutes and I've got a lot of questions.
01:32:31.000 You want to stay?
01:32:32.000 Let's just do an extended hour.
01:32:33.000 I'm happy to do it.
01:32:35.000 This has been fun.
01:32:37.000 I think it's been fun.
01:32:38.000 I think it's been more entertaining.
01:32:40.000 I'm sorry to the guests that I've invited.
01:32:42.000 I got to take a break though in the meantime.
01:32:44.000 We've got to pay some bills.
01:32:46.000 It's not a cheap set we built for y'all.
01:32:48.000 I hope you like it.
01:32:49.000 Courtesy of your favorite channel, Fox News, and you do admit you watch often.
01:32:54.000 We'll take a break.
01:32:55.000 They've agreed to stay.
01:32:56.000 Well, that's I guess a debate on the fly.
01:32:59.000 We'll continue on the other side and later have live post-debate coverage.
01:33:03.000 We are in Alpharetta, Georgia.
01:33:05.000 The great red state, blue state debate as we continue.
01:33:09.000 This is a really scuffed setup here.
01:33:14.000 So it was supposed to be over, but they're gonna keep doing more.
01:33:17.000 Okay.
01:33:21.000 I wish he would have said something about Florida.
01:33:23.000 I was actually kind of interested if he had something nice to say about Florida, but I guess not.
01:33:28.000 He didn't really answer that, but that's okay.
01:33:32.000 Yeah, I don't know.
01:33:33.000 This is not, to be honest with you, this is not raising my opinion of Gavin Newsom.
01:33:39.000 He kind of just seems like a douchebag.
01:33:41.000 I liked him before, honestly, going into it, because he's tall and handsome and white and like, you know, seems like a cool guy.
01:33:50.000 But, watching this debate, he just comes across like a giant liberal douchebag.
01:33:54.000 So, I don't know that I... I don't like DeSantis, but, I mean, Newsom really sucks, man.
01:34:01.000 I mean, he's a fucking douche.
01:34:04.000 So, liberals still suck.
01:34:07.000 You know, I guess... I guess what we've learned is that liberals still suck.
01:34:15.000 Cuz yeah, I don't like liberals.
01:34:16.000 I don't like Cuomo.
01:34:17.000 I don't like Pritzker.
01:34:18.000 I don't like I Don't like the mayor's and I don't like Newsom this whole I mean he just comes across totally insincere full of shit and And fake so I don't know I don't really like him I thought I thought I would have liked him more I thought that I
01:34:40.000 I thought I would have liked him, but I don't.
01:34:43.000 He doesn't have it.
01:34:44.000 I thought he had it.
01:34:45.000 He does not have it.
01:34:47.000 Biden has it.
01:34:48.000 Obama has it.
01:34:49.000 Trump has it.
01:34:51.000 He does not have it.
01:34:54.000 He's not likable at all.
01:34:57.000 And I thought he would be more likable, but he's not.
01:35:00.000 DeSantis isn't.
01:35:01.000 I mean, DeSantis is a stiff.
01:35:03.000 That's the difference.
01:35:04.000 DeSantis is like a dork and no riz at all.
01:35:10.000 But Newsom is just a hack.
01:35:13.000 He's clearly just a liberal douche, like I said.
01:35:15.000 So that's a little bit of a difference.
01:35:17.000 He's got riz, but DeSantis kind of hit the nail on the head when he said, you know, you're just a slick liberal politician.
01:35:27.000 I would say that's appropriate.
01:35:30.000 Let's see, what do we got though?
01:35:32.000 The hashtag is state debate.
01:35:33.000 It's cleared up.
01:35:34.000 I know most of you don't care.
01:35:35.000 And, uh, Mug Club, you get beautiful.
01:35:37.000 They're always shilling the products.
01:35:39.000 Don't you appreciate that about my show that I'm never shilling products?
01:35:43.000 I feel like every show you tune in, it's always, you know, blah blah blah dot com and buy the fucking thing.
01:35:49.000 Buy this.
01:35:50.000 Yeah, letterattractor.com slash mug club.
01:35:52.000 Go to it right now.
01:35:54.000 Once it's gone, it is gone.
01:35:55.000 Okay, seven plus one things we would rather watch than Gavin.
01:36:00.000 And honestly, they're just shilling that.
01:36:02.000 It's like, that kind of stuff is such a grift.
01:36:06.000 And listen, I know people need to make money.
01:36:09.000 I know people need to make a living.
01:36:10.000 And honestly, I should sell more stuff, you know?
01:36:13.000 So don't be surprised if in a year or two years, don't call me a hypocrite if I'm selling stuff.
01:36:19.000 But it's such a grift when they do these shows and they're like, hey, here's a children's book.
01:36:24.000 Here's coffee.
01:36:24.000 Here's this.
01:36:25.000 I mean, and I'll probably be doing it at some point because I want to make more money and I want to scale things up and all that, but it's just like, bruh.
01:36:34.000 Every show you watch, it's freaking, hey, don't forget to buy this thing.
01:36:39.000 Buy this, uh, whatever.
01:36:41.000 Children's book.
01:36:44.000 It's always buying stuff.
01:36:46.000 Let's move on here.
01:36:47.000 7 plus 1 things we'd rather watch than Gavin Newsom.
01:36:48.000 Number 4.
01:36:49.000 A plus size model.
01:36:51.000 Oh god.
01:36:52.000 Yeah.
01:36:52.000 That's just... Doing anything.
01:36:54.000 Sure.
01:36:54.000 That was the key to that joke.
01:36:56.000 Test holiday.
01:36:56.000 7 plus 1 things we'd rather watch than Gavin Newsom.
01:36:59.000 Number 3.
01:36:59.000 You know what?
01:37:00.000 I'll do this, Joe.
01:37:00.000 I don't want to put you on this.
01:37:01.000 Thank you.
01:37:02.000 Number 3.
01:37:03.000 Whoopi Goldberg's pap smear.
01:37:05.000 Oh my gosh.
01:37:06.000 Actually, hey, Steven, we do have, we have a little bit of footage, a picture of that.
01:37:10.000 Oh, God.
01:37:10.000 Pull that, yeah, pull that in.
01:37:12.000 I don't like it.
01:37:12.000 Oh, for the love of God!
01:37:17.000 No, that's not her.
01:37:18.000 That's the Predators.
01:37:19.000 Oh, that's true.
01:37:20.000 Yeah.
01:37:23.000 That's Trump's true social page.
01:37:24.000 He reposted that today.
01:37:25.000 So, that's pretty cool.
01:37:27.000 You know, I like seeing my stuff.
01:37:28.000 Another one!
01:37:29.000 Another Donald Trump retreuth Laura Loomer.
01:37:31.000 Gee, sure looks like Ian O'Goron, the son of leftist judge Arthur O'Goron is the man next to the New York Attorney General.
01:37:36.000 Scroll down, too, because he shared some of my articles.
01:37:38.000 Another one!
01:37:39.000 He posted so many of my posts today.
01:37:40.000 I love Donald Trump.
01:37:41.000 Oh my god, another one!
01:37:43.000 Look, that's like four Loomer posts in a row.
01:37:45.000 That's so nice of him.
01:37:46.000 Loomered!
01:37:48.000 Trump got loomered.
01:37:49.000 Trump re-truthed Loomer four times.
01:37:56.000 Honestly, W Loomer, because they really tried to mess with her, like Karen Giorno, that fucking bitch.
01:38:03.000 Karen Giorno was like, when we got Trump not to endorse Loomer, she really tried to mess with Loomer.
01:38:13.000 Karen Giorno was Loomer's campaign manager and then turned on her.
01:38:17.000 And now Loomer is laughing all the way to the bank.
01:38:20.000 She's laughing all the way to Mar-a-Lago with her dub.
01:38:24.000 Woomer.
01:38:25.000 Wara Woomer.
01:38:28.000 Huge.
01:38:29.000 Is this Mac?
01:38:29.000 Okay, this is Mac.
01:38:30.000 Let's see what we got.
01:38:31.000 Oh, it's over.
01:38:32.000 So they're not doing the talk.
01:38:34.000 Is this Mac?
01:38:52.000 Look, I talked to a guy who said, I love the unemployment down here.
01:38:56.000 I love the wages down here.
01:38:57.000 I love the state of Florida, how safe it is.
01:39:00.000 Oh, by the way, that was your father-in-law, Gavin Newsom, also pulling out the map of the feces in San Francisco.
01:39:07.000 Another strong and powerful moment.
01:39:09.000 So I think the clear winner, Ron DeSantis, in a nearly impossible task for Gavin Newsom.
01:39:15.000 Let's get your take, Ari Fleischer.
01:39:19.000 Well, I think watching this you just realize Democrats are from Mars and Republicans are from Venus.
01:39:25.000 They speak totally different languages.
01:39:29.000 Ron DeSantis' language was one of economics, gasoline, six, seven dollars a gallon, the lockdowns in California.
01:39:36.000 It was very practical, very focused on people's daily lives, the rise in cost of living.
01:39:42.000 If you listen to Gavin Newsom, his whole message was identity politics, which is the language of the Democrats.
01:39:48.000 I don't like the way you talk about migrants.
01:39:50.000 We have to fight for women.
01:39:52.000 Everything he says is about a group, an ethnic group, a chunk of Americans.
01:39:56.000 It's not about America.
01:39:58.000 And that's the language that Democrats respond to.
01:40:01.000 So you really have two different approaches for what America needs.
01:40:05.000 I will say this.
01:40:06.000 Gavin Newsom is much more articulate, fast on his feet, and sharper than Joe Biden.
01:40:12.000 And if I'm a Democrat looking at the presidential race, even if I dismiss Ron DeSantis,
01:40:16.000 I have to still worry about Joe Biden, and that's a difference in just Biden's age, Sean, as you pointed that out.
01:40:23.000 The final thing I'll say about DeSantis, I don't think that he closed the gap with Donald Trump tonight.
01:40:29.000 It was a nice night for him, and he did well, and he had the facts on his side.
01:40:33.000 But when you look at the purpose of him being there, which is to win a presidential race, I just don't think he closed the gap.
01:40:40.000 No, I totally disagree.
01:40:42.000 I think that it was a mistake for him to be there.
01:40:45.000 How is that a victory to go to a debate?
01:40:49.000 When you do a debate, you give your opponent a platform to attack you and attack your record.
01:40:55.000 Why would you subject yourself to that?
01:40:56.000 What's the risk-reward profile when the other person isn't running?
01:41:01.000 You're running for a national office, he isn't.
01:41:05.000 So, he gets a platform to attack your record and attack you,
01:41:10.000 And whatever the positives are, those negatives exist.
01:41:14.000 And DeSantis has a platform to attack a guy who isn't running.
01:41:20.000 The profile's all wrong.
01:41:21.000 I think one of the things, and Kayleigh said at the outset, there's no doubt that Gavin Newsom will be the most important, the most forceful and articulate advocate on behalf of Democrats in this 2024 election.
01:41:35.000 And Governor DeSantis, I think,
01:41:38.000 Displayed one of the things that Republicans are going to have to deal with.
01:41:40.000 How do you talk about the economy?
01:41:42.000 How do you talk about issues?
01:41:44.000 In the face of, I think, whether we like it or not, or agree or not, one of the most powerful issues in this election in 2024 is going to be this issue of reproductive rights for women.
01:41:56.000 It's not going to overtake everything, but it will certainly be one of the most important issues.
01:42:00.000 And I think where we are six months from today with regard to gas prices and inflation,
01:42:05.000 We're good.
01:42:36.000 And I thought a lot of people thought he might have fared against a guy in our party, Gavin Newsom, who I thought did well tonight, but I thought Governor DeSantis did a pretty good job tonight as well, too, defending his state and his record.
01:42:50.000 What did you think, Kayleigh, about the answer when I quoted LBJ in terms of Gavin?
01:42:56.000 There's a lot of suspicion, a lot of people around the country, polls are bearing this out now more than ever, that people are seeing Joe Biden as weak and frail and in cognitive decline.
01:43:08.000 That was not something that Gavin Newsom wanted to admit.
01:43:11.000 But when you bring up the issue of whether or not if his party came to him, whether he's been very clear in all three interviews that I've had with him, tonight being a debate obviously, I'm moderating, but that he thinks that it would be the Vice President, Vice President Harris, and not him up next.
01:43:32.000 If you say it that often, you have to take somebody at their word, don't you?
01:43:38.000 Well, as a political figure, there are certain things you have to say.
01:43:41.000 This is why every single person, probably in all of time, who has run for president says, oh no, you know, it's not my time.
01:43:48.000 I'm not thinking of that right now.
01:43:49.000 I'm focusing on my state, my city, etc.
01:43:52.000 And then several of them go on to run for president.
01:43:54.000 There are certain things that you must say.
01:43:56.000 Gavin Newsom tonight must have said over and over again, it's Joe Biden, and then given that head nod to Kamala Harris.
01:44:02.000 But what I look at are what were the words of Gavin Newsom leading into the midterm elections?
01:44:07.000 Days before the midterm elections, he talked about his fundamental grievances with his party.
01:44:13.000 They're unable to message.
01:44:14.000 It was someone, by his words, that seemed to be clearly posturing in the event of a red wave, either running himself and taking on Joe Biden.
01:44:22.000 I don't really care that much what she says.
01:44:25.000 All right well let's watch some of these other streams for a minute and then I'll give my recap and then we'll do super chats and then we'll call it a night.
01:44:32.000 Honestly a very strange evening.
01:44:35.000 I feel like this whole thing is bizarre and Gavin Newsom pointed it out before the debate and I think other people said as much.
01:44:47.000 It strategically doesn't make any sense and I think maybe this is
01:44:52.000 I don't want to say this will cause DeSantis to lose, but I think this certainly does signal that he is on the downward trajectory.
01:45:03.000 And what I mean by that is, it was apparent almost exactly a year ago that
01:45:12.000 The Trump vs. non-Trump race would be a Trump vs. DeSantis race.
01:45:18.000 What I mean by that is he was the apparent challenger for Trump in the nomination, the most formidable, and at that time basically the only viable name in that conversation as to who could be a viable challenger.
01:45:38.000 Trump was less popular a year ago than he is today, a lot less popular.
01:45:42.000 And DeSantis was a lot more popular a year ago than he is today, in his own state and nationally.
01:45:51.000 So one year ago, the state of the GOP primary was Trump and this apparent challenger, DeSantis, with some background noise.
01:46:01.000 DeSantis got in the race very late, relatively speaking.
01:46:05.000 You know, Trump got in in November 22.
01:46:07.000 DeSantis got in, I think, in April or May 23.
01:46:09.000 And DeSantis only has gone down since he entered the race and has just disappointed.
01:46:16.000 And the viability argument seems to be disappearing.
01:46:21.000 He's not performing in the polls.
01:46:23.000 He's not competitive.
01:46:25.000 The numbers aren't improving.
01:46:27.000 Not the fundraising numbers.
01:46:29.000 Not the polling numbers.
01:46:32.000 The debates aren't rescuing him.
01:46:35.000 Where's the second wind going to come from?
01:46:37.000 I think a lot of people are wondering where is going to be the moment when
01:46:45.000 We're good to go!
01:47:04.000 Is it seems that the establishment has abandoned DeSantis and they're now coalescing behind Haley?
01:47:09.000 Everyone's been talking about that, that she's been the pick for Fox News, she's the pick of the New York Post, she's the pick of the New York Times, Washington Post, etc.
01:47:21.000 And so they're saying that they're abandoning DeSantis, they're coalescing around Haley
01:47:27.000 And as that has happened over the past couple weeks, now you have DeSantis doing this totally strange debate, which in my view is a strategic blunder.
01:47:38.000 This is not a move that advances his presidential campaign.
01:47:43.000 And if that is the case, then it's a giant diversion.
01:47:47.000 It's a big waste of time.
01:47:48.000 And if that's the case, it makes it a strategic mistake.
01:47:51.000 I don't know that it's a blunder.
01:47:53.000 I don't know that it necessarily hurts him.
01:47:56.000 But it's a public move, a visible move, that has no tangible benefit.
01:48:04.000 I think everybody looks at it and asks, why?
01:48:07.000 And people are confused by it.
01:48:10.000 And it's sort of weird, and it lowers him as well, because you're supposed to be aiming for the White House, meaning you're taking aim, politically speaking, at the President of the United States.
01:48:24.000 You're taking aim within the primary in the nominating contest at the former president, the presumptive nominee of your own party.
01:48:32.000 So these are national figures.
01:48:34.000 I mean, theoretically, or maybe actually, you're going for a national office,
01:48:41.000 So you're taking aim at national figures.
01:48:43.000 You should be on that level, in that strata, in that conversation.
01:48:48.000 But he's debating a statewide politician.
01:48:51.000 He's debating someone else who holds statewide office from across the country.
01:48:55.000 So it sort of lowers him.
01:48:57.000 So not only does it not really send the right message, and not only is it not something that advances his national campaign,
01:49:06.000 But it also, I mean, and I don't want to overstate the impact of this, but it does send the wrong signal.
01:49:13.000 It sends the wrong message.
01:49:15.000 It lowers him.
01:49:18.000 And so that makes it a big mistake.
01:49:20.000 It makes it a big misstep.
01:49:22.000 And what that says to the establishment and what it says to the donors and even the voters is that this guy is not serious.
01:49:30.000 What are you doing?
01:49:32.000 What are you doing messing around with the governor of California
01:49:36.000 In some intramural debate.
01:49:39.000 What's the point?
01:49:39.000 What's the purpose?
01:49:40.000 Why?
01:49:42.000 Shouldn't you be running for?
01:49:43.000 You're a governor and you're running for president.
01:49:46.000 Why are you debating another statewide officeholder?
01:49:50.000 And so if people are asking that question, if people are looking at you and saying, hey, what's the point of this?
01:49:56.000 Isn't this a giant distraction?
01:49:58.000 Isn't this a giant waste of time?
01:50:01.000 Especially when you're in a precarious situation.
01:50:05.000 If you're running away with it, and you make a blunder like this, or rather a misstep like this, whatever.
01:50:14.000 But he really, in the next month or two, this is make or break for him.
01:50:19.000 Iowa caucus is what, end of January, beginning of February?
01:50:24.000 It's December.
01:50:25.000 So, I mean, realistically, you got two months.
01:50:28.000 And by the way, DeSantis' strategy is an Iowa strategy.
01:50:34.000 Iowa is the first contest in the primary.
01:50:38.000 And typically this is what people do.
01:50:41.000 If they don't have a national profile, if they don't have a big campaign, they go all in on Iowa because a strong performance in the first contest will give them momentum in the race.
01:50:53.000 It proves viability.
01:50:54.000 It proves competitiveness.
01:50:56.000 If you sort of concentrate your forces and defeat in detail,
01:51:00.000 If you concentrate your energy on Iowa, on the first state, you do really well.
01:51:06.000 People say, oh, maybe this guy can win the nomination, and as the race narrows, because the race narrows in those first four, Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, those are the first four in the first month.
01:51:20.000 And typically people, that's when they start to drop out, because that's when the rubber meets the road.
01:51:24.000 When people start to vote and people see, you know, who's getting a lot of votes, who's getting delegates, who is viable to go the distance, that's when the race narrows, and that's when, you know, more market share sort of opens up and, you know, people sort of prove their mettle.
01:51:41.000 If people start to drop out and the race tightens and it becomes a two- or three-person race, and if DeSantis has a strong finish in Iowa,
01:51:50.000 Then the logic goes that he'll do well in New Hampshire, and, you know, by South Carolina, by the time the thing is in full swing, it becomes a two-man race between him and Trump, and that's when he can really make the case, and it's really a different stage of the contest.
01:52:05.000 So, that's the idea.
01:52:06.000 So he's toured all 99 counties in Iowa.
01:52:09.000 He's gone to every county in Iowa, and that's a very... that's a grind.
01:52:15.000 That's a grueling... I mean, that's legit, like, doing electioneering.
01:52:20.000 He went to all 99 counties and put all his resources there.
01:52:23.000 He apparently has no ground game in any of the other states, including New Hampshire.
01:52:28.000 And so point is, you should be in Iowa.
01:52:32.000 You should be in Iowa.
01:52:33.000 You should be in New Hampshire.
01:52:35.000 If that's the pathway to the nomination is to win Iowa, to get a first or second place finish there, that's where you need to be!
01:52:42.000 Why are you debating the governor of California in Georgia?
01:52:47.000 You need to win Iowa!
01:52:48.000 And you need to win New Hampshire!
01:52:51.000 And Nevada and South Carolina, but he's debating the governor of California in Georgia!
01:52:57.000 So, it just makes no sense.
01:53:03.000 And if it's not moving the ball forward, then you're moving it backwards.
01:53:09.000 So I think this is not a good move.
01:53:13.000 It's very bizarre.
01:53:15.000 The setup was bizarre.
01:53:16.000 Sean Hannity hosting this debate with no studio audience.
01:53:22.000 It's just them.
01:53:22.000 Newsom came across a little weird.
01:53:27.000 So this is a very bizarre sort of detour.
01:53:30.000 I don't know what he's thinking.
01:53:32.000 But that's just it.
01:53:33.000 He doesn't know.
01:53:34.000 And that's really the difference between him and Trump, is Trump has this killer instinct that DeSantis doesn't have.
01:53:42.000 It's as simple as that.
01:53:44.000 It's instinct.
01:53:45.000 Trump has the instincts to know that that is stupid.
01:53:49.000 DeSantis doesn't.
01:53:50.000 DeSantis said, oh yeah, I'll fight him, I'll debate Gavin Newsom.
01:53:56.000 It makes no sense.
01:53:57.000 It's bad instincts.
01:54:00.000 Bad intuition.
01:54:01.000 This is something that maybe it sounded like a good idea on paper.
01:54:05.000 Maybe this sounded like something that might be fun or whatever.
01:54:10.000 But it's dumb.
01:54:12.000 It's dumb, and it's weird, and it's a giant distraction.
01:54:16.000 It's a big detour.
01:54:18.000 And I think that maybe people like the idea of it, but it doesn't make any sense.
01:54:23.000 And that's just bad instincts.
01:54:26.000 That's being a bad politician.
01:54:28.000 That's the difference between him and Trump.
01:54:30.000 And that's the difference between someone who can be competitive at the national level and someone who is destined to be middle management like that.
01:54:38.000 Somebody that's destined to be a statewide officeholder and nothing more.
01:54:43.000 You know?
01:54:45.000 And you can be a really good governor, but that doesn't make you a president.
01:54:51.000 That's a whole different ballgame.
01:54:54.000 And it's moves like this that show that this guy's just amateur hour.
01:54:57.000 He belongs in a governorship because this is not a national figure.
01:55:03.000 This is not a guy that can lead the nation.
01:55:07.000 That takes a different class of politician.
01:55:10.000 Different class of leader.
01:55:11.000 It's not him.
01:55:13.000 You are not him.
01:55:17.000 So, that's my thoughts on it.
01:55:21.000 And I'm really not interested in, you know, who won?
01:55:24.000 Did DeSantis win?
01:55:25.000 Did Newsom win?
01:55:26.000 DeSantis lost.
01:55:27.000 By being part of this, he lost.
01:55:30.000 And Newsom won because he sort of trolled his way into the national conversation.
01:55:36.000 And that got him some publicity.
01:55:38.000 I don't think that he did himself any favors
01:55:43.000 You know because I think that Newsom has been angling for a long time Like that he's gonna appeal to conservatives, I don't know if you can I don't know if you know this or not, but Newsom has been Saying like what he's been saying positive things about Trump, and he's been saying that he'll go on Fox News and all this and so I think that Newsom has this sort of
01:56:08.000 He thinks that he's gonna be a candidate that'll be supported by maybe people in the middle or try and win that culture war that, you know, I think people like Tucker and Joe Rogan have been winning lately, and I think that he just alienated himself from conservatives.
01:56:21.000 I think he may, like I said, I came into this kind of open-minded about Newsom and he came across like a giant liberal douchebag, and I am a contrarian.
01:56:30.000 I came here
01:56:31.000 Thinking like, I'm ready for the gay, high-tax, you know, whatever, California governor to kick DeSantis' ass.
01:56:41.000 I was open-minded about Newsom coming in, and he just totally turned me off.
01:56:47.000 Totally off-putting.
01:56:48.000 Just sucked.
01:56:49.000 Like, just came across like a liberal faggot.
01:56:52.000 And that seems to be what always happens.
01:56:54.000 I feel like whenever the right gets excited about the left, the left reminds you what they're really about.
01:57:00.000 You know, like even with Andrew Yang, I liked Andrew Yang for a long time.
01:57:05.000 And then at the first debate, he came in there and he tried to be a regular liberal.
01:57:10.000 He went out there and said that Trump is a freaking asshole and blah blah blah.
01:57:15.000 And I said, okay, so you're just another liberal blowhard.
01:57:19.000 But they have to say that kind of stuff to appeal to their people.
01:57:24.000 At the end of the day, that's their constituency.
01:57:26.000 These insufferable liberals, leftoids, that's their constituency.
01:57:31.000 Those are their people.
01:57:33.000 That's the choir they're preaching to.
01:57:36.000 And that goes for Tulsi Gabbard, that goes for Yang, that goes for Newsom.
01:57:42.000 I mean, these guys get up there and it's like, oh yeah, you're a libtard.
01:57:47.000 Which is disappointing.
01:57:51.000 So, yeah, I thought it was a bad look for both of them for different reasons.
01:57:55.000 I thought Newsom, whatever sort of innovative thing that he had going, that he was doing outreach to conservatives, I think that's done.
01:58:04.000 I think that he made himself out to be a liberal idiot.
01:58:09.000 And it was a failure for DeSantis because you're running for president, man.
01:58:14.000 Presidents don't debate governors.
01:58:15.000 Presidents debate other presidential candidates.
01:58:19.000 They don't do intramural debates for fun because it would be content or whatever.
01:58:24.000 That's not what you do.
01:58:25.000 Bad instincts.
01:58:27.000 And couldn't have come at a worse time with Nikki Haley's ascendancy.
01:58:31.000 He's crashing.
01:58:33.000 So the next primary debate is next week.
01:58:38.000 So we'll see what happens, but I think the next debate is on the 7th?
01:58:43.000 Next GOP primary debate?
01:58:45.000 So... I'll be covering that, and I guess we'll see what happens, but... Yeah, pretty lame.
01:58:55.000 Alright, but let's see, what else do we got here?
01:58:57.000 Is this, uh... Dude, how do people watch Fox News?
01:58:59.000 Look at these people.
01:59:12.000 Who is this guy?
01:59:13.000 I hate this guy.
01:59:16.000 Bruh.
01:59:20.000 Politics for people who hate politics.
01:59:22.000 What a stupid- That looks like the stupidest book I've ever seen in my life.
01:59:27.000 Do you know how stupid you'd have to be to buy this book?
01:59:29.000 How much do you think this book retails for?
01:59:32.000 And it's written by some woman?
01:59:32.000 $24.99?
01:59:35.000 Foreword by Senator Tim Scott.
01:59:37.000 Denise Gitschum.
01:59:40.000 Politics for People.
01:59:42.000 How to Engage Without Losing Your Friends.
01:59:44.000 Is this book for mental retards?
01:59:46.000 Is this a book for people with Down Syndrome?
01:59:49.000 No, I got this really good book by Tim Scott.
01:59:51.000 I kinda like him.
01:59:53.000 He's not like a crazy Republican.
01:59:57.000 $28.99, $29.95 people are saying.
01:59:59.000 If you buy this book, this is like an IQ test, if you buy this book you should be institutionalized.
02:00:06.000 You should be arrested.
02:00:09.000 Imagine.
02:00:10.000 Imagine going to a bookstore, imagine going to a Barnes & Noble and picking this up and paying $30 for this trash.
02:00:18.000 Politics for people who hate politics.
02:00:20.000 Shut the fuck up.
02:00:23.000 I'm over it, man.
02:00:24.000 Look at this one.
02:00:25.000 Yeah, she looks really intelligent.
02:00:27.000 ...now in the primary, is all with Nikki Haley in the conversation, and where you're seeing after the debates, and I'm not... Listen to her voice.
02:00:34.000 Imagine if you were married to that.
02:00:36.000 ...as he could have, because basically he opened himself up to a whole new line of... Ugh.
02:00:44.000 Women talking.
02:00:45.000 When women talk, it's just like, ugh.
02:00:50.000 Although, Vic Bajaj, I mean, you live in California.
02:00:53.000 She's got that shrill, like, Sarah Silverman voice.
02:00:55.000 Really did try to avoid a lot of the things that he just quite couldn't answer.
02:01:00.000 That's right, and I think both of the candidates walk out of this debate thinking they won.
02:01:04.000 They have trial psychosis.
02:01:05.000 They think the verdict is coming back in their favor.
02:01:07.000 There's no doubt about that.
02:01:09.000 And it's very clear that these are really opposed candidates.
02:01:12.000 It's not as though there's a middle ground.
02:01:15.000 Fox News is so goofy.
02:01:17.000 I remember I used to watch Fox News when I was in high school.
02:01:20.000 I used to watch Fox News like every day, and I don't know how I did that.
02:01:25.000 I didn't know any better.
02:01:26.000 I was a teenager.
02:01:27.000 I was 15.
02:01:30.000 So, I had no idea.
02:01:33.000 Now I think it sucks.
02:01:37.000 Anyway.
02:01:39.000 What's going on with Crowder?
02:01:40.000 Let's take a look.
02:01:42.000 Oh, Crowder's done!
02:01:44.000 Okay, Crowder's finished.
02:01:47.000 Yeah, that's a good point.
02:01:48.000 These guys are kicking my ass.
02:01:49.000 5.5, I'm at 3.9, damn.
02:02:04.000 The corporate, corrupt, legacy media tells people things are going great in their everyday lives.
02:02:11.000 They know that's not true.
02:02:13.000 They know their neighborhoods are no longer... Alright, whatever.
02:02:16.000 Alright, let me read Super Chats, then I'm gonna get out of here.
02:02:20.000 Let's see, let's take a look at our Super Chats.
02:02:23.000 Let's put something on in the background.
02:02:25.000 Let's let this run in the background, I guess.
02:02:29.000 All right let's see I don't think we have usually when I do these debate streams nobody super chats you know I think people are like oh he's not he's not really doing a show so they're like we don't you know no super chats all right we got we got about 20 or 30 though so let's see
02:02:46.000 Hey, thank you.
02:02:47.000 Alright.
02:02:47.000 Gross.
02:03:13.000 Chad Champion sent $3, I support Newsom just cause hes a Chadarian.
02:03:18.000 DeSantis is retarded and short.
02:03:20.000 Also who approved this DeSantis has everything to lose from this Derry Snowskin for Newsom.
02:03:25.000 Yeah exactly that's what I'm saying he's got everything he's the presidential candidate Newsom's not even running Newsom survived a recall like
02:03:34.000 And this is just bad strategy.
02:03:36.000 Like, anyone with a basic understanding of, like, game theory would understand this is a bad idea.
02:03:42.000 Because you're right.
02:03:44.000 Newsom has nothing to lose in this.
02:03:46.000 There is no downside for him.
02:03:49.000 You know, a Republican that all liberals hate is going to attack his record?
02:03:53.000 It doesn't matter.
02:03:54.000 On the other hand, DeSantis is in the middle of a competitive primary within his own party.
02:04:01.000 And these attacks where Newsom gets to say, you're 40 points behind, Nikki Haley's kicking your ass, when are you going to lay down and give her a shot?
02:04:10.000 These are things that, it's a mistake for DeSantis to be there and have those things said to him by a liberal.
02:04:18.000 So, I agree.
02:04:19.000 But I... Hey, take it easy on the short guys, okay?
02:04:22.000 Look, he's Italian.
02:04:23.000 We're not big, okay?
02:04:25.000 We're not...
02:04:26.000 Italians are a lot of things.
02:04:28.000 We're fun, we're loyal, we're funny, we're good-looking, we have great food, bombastic, charismatic.
02:04:36.000 I mean, we're geniuses, but we're not tall, okay?
02:04:40.000 We're not a tall people.
02:04:41.000 We're little.
02:04:42.000 We're short people.
02:04:43.000 Take it easy on the little guys, okay?
02:04:46.000 Take it easy.
02:04:46.000 DeSantis is 5'9", 5'10".
02:04:49.000 That's not that small.
02:04:51.000 Okay?
02:04:53.000 And, you know, Newsom's a douchebag.
02:04:55.000 I don't know how far being an Aryan gets you if your cities are covered in poo and homeless people and they're giving kids gay porn.
02:05:04.000 I mean, that's not very Aryan, is it?
02:05:07.000 Chad, Aryan, six foot whatever.
02:05:10.000 Okay, but the city's covered in shit, homeless vagabonds, blacks stealing stuff, and they're teaching the kids to be gay and trans.
02:05:18.000 That's not very Aryan.
02:05:19.000 You know, that's not, you know, and he's tall, so maybe height's not every- so maybe height isn't everything, okay?
02:05:25.000 Maybe it's not everything.
02:05:27.000 Take it easy on us.
02:05:29.000 Pretty fly white guy sent $3.272.
02:05:33.000 Gavin should have called him Rob for the whole debate.
02:05:36.000 Meh, that's dumb.
02:05:39.000 Bob Hitler sent $5.
02:05:41.000 When DeSantis tries to be assertive it looks like he's screaming out of his eyes.
02:05:44.000 Yeah, because he doesn't have like a high testosterone.
02:05:47.000 He does this.
02:05:52.000 I don't like when people do that.
02:05:54.000 You know, because when he's yelling he does this like pleading with his eyes.
02:06:00.000 His eyebrows go like this.
02:06:02.000 Like he's pleading with you.
02:06:05.000 It should be like this.
02:06:06.000 You know, like when Trump gets mad, he goes like this.
02:06:08.000 He squints.
02:06:11.000 This centipede is a predator.
02:06:14.000 You know, that's like Trump.
02:06:15.000 If you notice that about Trump, Trump never raises his eyebrows.
02:06:21.000 Let's pull up Can't Stomp the Trump, just for old time's sake.
02:06:29.000 I'm Donald Trump.
02:06:32.000 I wrote the art of the deal.
02:06:34.000 I say not in a braggadocious way.
02:06:38.000 I've made billions and billions of dollars dealing with people all over the world, and I want to put whatever that talent up our balls.
02:06:45.000 From this epic stumping.
02:06:47.000 Oi, babe.
02:06:48.000 You know what time it is.
02:06:50.000 It's jerk cock time.
02:06:51.000 Are you?
02:06:52.000 No.
02:06:52.000 Dollar.
02:06:53.000 Away, man.
02:06:55.000 I don't know.
02:06:56.000 Different.
02:06:56.000 The quality's not great, but totally different.
02:07:00.000 Totally different look than DeSantis.
02:07:03.000 DeSantis has like this deer-in-the-headlights look.
02:07:07.000 Trump never has that.
02:07:08.000 Trump's always got his, uh, he's got the hunter eyes.
02:07:11.000 Different vibe.
02:07:22.000 Yeah, right, that guy tried to debate with me.
02:07:25.000 This guy in the Zoom call tries to come in and debate with me and he's, you know, kind of throwing shit.
02:07:32.000 And I just debated him into the ground and, you know, Spencer came in and I think I had some good points on him as well.
02:07:41.000 I get why people disagree.
02:07:42.000 I just, I think I'm right on that.
02:07:47.000 And thank you.
02:07:47.000 Yeah, it was very controversial apparently.
02:07:50.000 My appearance was Spencer.
02:07:51.000 I know a lot of people didn't like that.
02:07:53.000 You know, look.
02:07:54.000 Well, I don't really need to defend it.
02:07:56.000 It was a good, it was good content.
02:07:58.000 Enough said.
02:07:58.000 I don't need to respond to that.
02:08:00.000 You know, but apparently it was controversial to some people.
02:08:02.000 You know what I say?
02:08:03.000 Fuck them.
02:08:04.000 I thought it was a good show.
02:08:06.000 Good content.
02:08:08.000 Adam Vine sent $10.
02:08:09.000 How's that going for ya?
02:08:12.000 Oh, uh, when Newsom said that to DeSantis.
02:08:15.000 Yeah, that was good.
02:08:16.000 How's that going for ya, bitch?
02:08:18.000 Vincent sent $3.
02:08:20.000 Unwatchable THX for soldiering through.
02:08:23.000 They're just talking past each other with sound bite attempts.
02:08:26.000 Impossible to reach the truth of the matter.
02:08:28.000 They might as well debate whether or not Cobson is a gem.
02:08:30.000 Yeah, that's true.
02:08:33.000 That's always how it goes.
02:08:34.000 I mean, that's always how it is with these debates.
02:08:37.000 It's all BS.
02:08:40.000 Nick Love sent $3.
02:08:42.000 Great stream, man.
02:08:43.000 Thank you.
02:08:43.000 Hope you feel better soon.
02:08:44.000 Thank you.
02:08:48.000 Yeah, I apologize.
02:08:50.000 I was planning on doing a show yesterday, but I got so out of nowhere.
02:08:57.000 I did the Spencer thing, and I don't know if you could tell, but towards the end of it, I had this massive headache.
02:09:03.000 I get these, like, neck headaches.
02:09:06.000 I don't know.
02:09:06.000 It's called cervicogenic, I think.
02:09:09.000 A cervicogenic headache.
02:09:11.000 I get those all the time.
02:09:13.000 And I got, like, a completely debilitating headache.
02:09:19.000 That's why I wasn't tired, I wasn't hungry, I just had this unbelievable headache.
02:09:26.000 And I was like, at the end of it,
02:09:31.000 Mark kept going on and on and I was in so much pain.
02:09:35.000 I was literally like wincing.
02:09:37.000 I was like, dude, please like let me get off.
02:09:41.000 And like the second I ended the call I just like slammed ibuprofen, Gatorade.
02:09:47.000 I had, I'd do all these stretches to fix it.
02:09:51.000 But it wouldn't go away and then I had this horror, I literally thought I was dying because I had this terrible headache.
02:09:57.000 I had a terrible stomach ache out of nowhere.
02:09:59.000 I felt like I was gonna barf.
02:10:02.000 So I took ibuprofen.
02:10:03.000 I took a bunch of Tums.
02:10:05.000 I jumped in the shower.
02:10:06.000 I was in the shower for a while.
02:10:08.000 I thought the steam might help.
02:10:11.000 But I just felt like death and nothing was making me feel better.
02:10:15.000 I felt awful, so... I really wanted to do a show yesterday.
02:10:19.000 I was really trying to soldier through, but it was just unbearable.
02:10:24.000 I just... I crashed on my bed.
02:10:27.000 I was watching Skibbity Toilet.
02:10:29.000 I crashed on my bed with the lights on.
02:10:32.000 I had all these crazy dreams.
02:10:35.000 So... Anyway, so I was having a lot of problems.
02:10:40.000 But I wanted to do a show, I tried to do a show, but it didn't happen.
02:10:47.000 I don't know.
02:10:47.000 Why are you asking me that?
02:10:49.000 Hey, so uh, you gonna see the new Paul Giamatti movie?
02:10:53.000 Why are you talking to me like that?
02:11:09.000 What, are we friends now?
02:11:10.000 I don't like when people... You know, these superchats, man.
02:11:14.000 I don't know where people get off saying something like that.
02:11:18.000 Hey, uh, hey, so you gonna see the new Paul Giamatti?
02:11:20.000 What, what, what fucking Paul Giamatti?
02:11:23.000 I have no idea what you're talking about.
02:11:25.000 What movie?
02:11:26.000 You're the one typing the superchat.
02:11:28.000 Why don't you say the name of the film?
02:11:30.000 I have no idea what you're talking about.
02:11:32.000 And why do you care?
02:11:34.000 Why are you asking me that?
02:11:35.000 I don't know why people ask that.
02:11:36.000 People make small talk.
02:11:38.000 It's like you're paying $3 to send me a message and it's small talk.
02:11:44.000 Why?
02:11:47.000 They're like, I have to know if he's gonna see the new Paul Giamatti movie.
02:11:51.000 Hey, by the way, same director as Sideways.
02:11:53.000 Oh, okay.
02:11:54.000 Thanks for the trivia.
02:12:03.000 Irritating.
02:12:06.000 I'm irritated.
02:12:07.000 Yeah, that was weird, considering the allegations that he abuses his own wife.
02:12:11.000 Kind of misplaced.
02:12:12.000 Hey, thank you.
02:12:14.000 Appreciate it.
02:12:34.000 I wonder.
02:12:35.000 Let's find out.
02:12:36.000 Gavin Newsom, wailing wall.
02:12:46.000 Oh no, yeah, no wailing wall.
02:12:48.000 Wow, look at that.
02:12:51.000 No Gavin Newsom, no Joe Biden.
02:12:57.000 Wow, maybe Democrats are based.
02:13:03.000 He touched this wall though.
02:13:10.000 Alright, go figure.
02:13:10.000 Hmm.
02:13:14.000 Theophilus sent $5.
02:13:15.000 As weird as this was I think more random debates between representatives would be cool hypothetically.
02:13:20.000 Preferably something more focused and deep cut.
02:13:23.000 In a more ideal society I think this would happen.
02:13:28.000 Yeah, really insightful remark.
02:13:30.000 I agree.
02:13:32.000 Rooftop Korean sent $5.
02:13:34.000 Your account does not show up on Rumble Home for this and searching DeSantis v Newsome live your account still does not come up in the search results.
02:13:41.000 Without the lies Newsome dies.
02:13:43.000 Really dislike this slime.
02:13:44.000 He let the homeboys ruin beautiful LA.
02:13:46.000 Eh, it's not really his fault.
02:13:49.000 California's been going to hell for a long time.
02:13:53.000 Glenn the Gro I percent $10, the biggest takeaway from this gay debate is CIA asset Hannity pressing constantly on the Iranian immigration and how it is going to lead to another 911.
02:14:04.000 Nick is it rational to be afraid of another false flag attack by Israel?
02:14:09.000 Well, that's a dumb question.
02:14:11.000 What you should be saying is, is it likely or possible that there'll be a false flag?
02:14:16.000 And the answer is yes.
02:14:18.000 Is it rational to be afraid of something?
02:14:21.000 Like, that's a dumb... Like, why'd you phrase it like an idiot?
02:14:25.000 Yeah, no, it's very possible that there will be a false flag terror attack committed by Israeli intelligence, made to look like Iran or one of the Iranian proxies.
02:14:38.000 Yeah, I think everyone knows that's a possibility.
02:14:40.000 Why would you even ask that?
02:14:41.000 It's obvious.
02:14:43.000 Why would you even ask that?
02:14:44.000 Of course, if you could think it, of course it's possible.
02:14:47.000 If you even know the first thing.
02:14:50.000 You're asking if something that's obviously possible is possible.
02:14:53.000 Yes, it's possible.
02:14:55.000 And I think it's likely.
02:14:56.000 The thing is though, it's not rational to be afraid of something like that because the nature of those things is so unpredictable.
02:15:08.000 You can't live your life in fear.
02:15:10.000 I mean, you should be more afraid of being in a car accident than being caught in a false flag terror attack.
02:15:17.000 Just statistically, you know, so I don't think that's why your question is dumb.
02:15:21.000 Is it rational to be afraid of XYZ?
02:15:25.000 That's a different question.
02:15:28.000 Now, is it likely that there will be a false flag attack?
02:15:31.000 I think it is possible.
02:15:34.000 I don't know if it's likely, but I think it's possible.
02:15:38.000 But I don't think you should be afraid because, you know, what are the odds?
02:15:44.000 You know, things are so bad now.
02:15:47.000 There's very high odds you die in a car crash, plane crash, get killed by a black person, you know, die of fentanyl overdose, stuff like that.
02:15:59.000 That's way more likely than you get blown up by Israel.
02:16:02.000 Yeah, that's true.
02:16:16.000 Vincent sent $3, debate was simply awkward, it didn't land on any level.
02:16:21.000 Real goal was to validate cable news as capable custodians of metapolitical commentary but it failed.
02:16:27.000 Weird vibes and no outcome, ineffectual.
02:16:29.000 That's dumb.
02:16:32.000 Dude, people always try to impress with the hot takes.
02:16:36.000 The real goal was to validate cable news as capable custodians of metapolitical commentary.
02:16:44.000 Sorry, what about that was metapolitical, dipshit?
02:16:49.000 I'm sorry, but people will just be saying stuff.
02:16:53.000 And no, it didn't.
02:16:55.000 The cable news channels host all the debate.
02:16:57.000 Who do you think the last three debates were hosted by?
02:17:00.000 The last debate was hosted by, what, CNN?
02:17:03.000 Or MSNBC or something?
02:17:04.000 I mean, even Vivek called them out for that.
02:17:07.000 In what way does that validate them?
02:17:10.000 Metapolitical commentary.
02:17:13.000 Did you feel smart when you typed custodian?
02:17:36.000 Did that make you feel intelligent?
02:17:38.000 Did you feel intelligent when you wrote Custodian of Metapolitical Commentary?
02:17:42.000 When you strung that little construction together, were you impressed with yourself?
02:17:47.000 Were you satisfied with yourself?
02:17:48.000 Because you shouldn't be.
02:17:53.000 Let's try it though.
02:17:55.000 A little more practice.
02:17:57.000 A little more practice and next time think it through.
02:18:01.000 Hey, thank you for the big super chat.
02:18:02.000 I appreciate it.
02:18:24.000 I favor Russia over China because it's white.
02:18:27.000 I favor it because it's white, it is part of Christendom, and Putin is making an effort to reassert the Christian character of the state.
02:18:37.000 Notice I said the state, though, not... the nation is not Christian, really.
02:18:44.000 But Putin has been very explicit that orthodoxy is part of the character of the state and
02:18:52.000 They're trying to re-embrace that.
02:18:56.000 So I admire that.
02:18:59.000 Although, with that being said, China seems to be equally or even more intolerant of degeneracy.
02:19:07.000 I don't really know about abortion in China.
02:19:11.000 I haven't brushed up on that.
02:19:14.000 But...
02:19:17.000 It's my understanding that China is more socially conservative than Russia.
02:19:24.000 Although, that's not an extremely educated take, but it's my understanding I think they're a little bit more traditional and a little bit more socially conservative.
02:19:37.000 Because Russia just had a total social revolution with
02:19:44.000 The Bolsheviks that I I don't think the same thing necessarily happened in China I don't necessarily think it was as extreme because communism in China.
02:19:53.000 It's sort of a different flavor It's a different character than it is in Russia so I Think that China retained a little bit more of their traditional character than Russia did different communist revolutions
02:20:11.000 But I mean, but besides all of that, I mean, I favor Russia.
02:20:14.000 Yeah, absolutely, because it's Christian, at least historically.
02:20:18.000 And I also favor it because it's European.
02:20:21.000 Well, it is Asiatic, but you know, Slavs are arguably European or European adjacent.
02:20:29.000 Some are not going to like that, but you know, I mean, no, but they are European.
02:20:33.000 So I do favor them.
02:20:34.000 It's just that China is vastly more powerful for obvious reasons.
02:20:39.000 So.
02:20:42.000 So I'm pro-Russia.
02:20:45.000 For sure.
02:20:46.000 But thank you for the big super chat.
02:20:47.000 I appreciate it.
02:20:49.000 Boogly woogly sent $3.
02:20:51.000 Entropy test chat.
02:20:55.000 Test.
02:20:57.000 Wigsy.
02:20:58.000 Sent $3.
02:20:59.000 Have you heard of Frazzled Rip?
02:21:01.000 Kinda crazy how there's forums on tour with actual photos of Hillary Clinton molesting and killing a child with her campaign manager.
02:21:08.000 Not to be a boomer but crazy.
02:21:09.000 Is that real?
02:21:14.000 I haven't seen that.
02:21:19.000 Is that real?
02:21:19.000 I've never heard of anything like that.
02:21:23.000 Oh here we go.
02:21:24.000 ADL Frazzledrip is a rumored dark web snuff film showing Hillary Clinton and Uma Abedin sexually assaulting and murdering a young girl, drinking her blood and taking turns wearing the skin from her face as a mask.
02:21:38.000 Is that real?
02:21:39.000 Come on now, is that real?
02:21:43.000 The video was allegedly discovered on Anthony Weiner's laptop in a folder labeled life insurance and police officers who've reportedly seen it were so horrified they were driven to suicide.
02:21:55.000 Conspiracy theorists have pointed to the video, which does not actually exist, to support long-standing conspiracy theories.
02:22:03.000 Well, they're not saying it's fake.
02:22:05.000 Well, I guess they did.
02:22:06.000 They said it's not real.
02:22:08.000 They say it doesn't... Is that real?
02:22:09.000 That doesn't sound real.
02:22:12.000 Sounds a little extreme.
02:22:14.000 That sounds a little far-fetched.
02:22:16.000 I'm not gonna lie.
02:22:17.000 Sounds kind of... Hillary Clinton and her aide sexually assaulted and murdered a young girl, drank her blood, and then they took turns
02:22:29.000 Wearing her face as a mask?
02:22:32.000 And it was so horrifying the cops killed themselves?
02:22:35.000 Come on!
02:22:36.000 Who belie... Is that real though?
02:22:38.000 Did that... If that happened, that's a nightmare.
02:22:40.000 That's so... That's obviously horrifying, but... But that sounds fake.
02:22:45.000 That sounds totally fake.
02:22:47.000 Do people really believe that?
02:22:53.000 People are saying it's real?
02:22:57.000 Someone says anyone who has seen it kills themselves.
02:23:03.000 I Part of me wants to say send me the link another part of me doesn't want to watch that actually another part of me Doesn't want that on my computer because I feel like someone would come and murder me People are saying it's real it's literally real Dude, you don't want to see it
02:23:26.000 It's real?
02:23:27.000 Okay, damn.
02:23:28.000 Maybe I gotta see it.
02:23:30.000 Somebody show it to me on your computer though.
02:23:33.000 You show it to me on your phone.
02:23:34.000 I don't want it on my phone.
02:23:39.000 Let me go to Google Images.
02:23:49.000 Frazzledrip, this is the purported file name of a snuff film found on the laptop of Wiener in a folder named Life Insurance.
02:23:57.000 It was said to make even the most hardened New York City Police veterans cry.
02:24:01.000 It's said to show Wiener's wife Uma Abedin and Clinton performing satanic ritual abuse on a young girl, surgically removing her face, wearing it as a mask to flood the victim's bloodstream with adrenaline.
02:24:14.000 Blood drank in this state is an elite drug of choice called adrenochrome.
02:24:18.000 Hmm.
02:24:31.000 I think we have a good energy here today, because you know what?
02:24:34.000 California finally lifted everything Drubb did, who reversed it.
02:24:37.000 Going to the strip club and... Alarm you a little?
02:24:41.000 It's like in Jaws, when the shark went out to sea for a little while.
02:24:47.000 I guess he did a segment about this?
02:24:51.000 Alright, well, no, we'll find out.
02:24:53.000 We'll look for that.
02:24:55.000 Petey McMuffin sent $10.
02:24:57.000 If Nikki Haley became president, do you think she'd do any good?
02:25:02.000 Jimbo Zoomer sent $5.
02:25:04.000 You rock, smile.
02:25:05.000 Hey, thanks buddy.

02:25:14.000 Everybody follow Jimbo Zoomer Experience, my favorite show.
02:25:19.000 We love Jimbo Zoomer.
02:25:21.000 This guy is like... I'm honestly...
02:25:25.000 Been taking credit for a lot of his work.
02:25:27.000 He has been the guy just relentlessly A-logging Destiny and finding all these clips of him being retarded, and I just steal them.
02:25:36.000 I just steal them!
02:25:38.000 I steal them, I send them to my friend Autumn Gruyper, and I throw them around on telegrams.
02:25:42.000 I'm just kind of stealing his content, but Jimbo has been one of the biggest Destiny A-logs
02:25:49.000 And Jackson Hinkle as well.
02:25:50.000 So, you gotta give him the credit.
02:25:52.000 Watch his show, Jimbo Zoomer Experience.
02:25:56.000 He's the man.
02:25:59.000 Keltoris sent $5.
02:26:00.000 How often did you check your war game during the SnoreFest?
02:26:04.000 During the entire second and third... Literally during, I think the whole third and fourth segment I was playing Call of War.
02:26:12.000 Like the entire... For like half hour of the debate.
02:26:15.000 At least a half hour I was playing Call of War.
02:26:18.000 on my other monitor.
02:26:20.000 So I watched the first one.
02:26:22.000 I think I watched the second one.
02:26:23.000 I think by the third one, I just started playing the game.
02:26:25.000 So, yeah, I think you could tell.
02:26:29.000 If you just look at where my eyes are.
02:26:34.000 Hey, thanks for the big super chat and no message!
02:26:37.000 Thank you, ImHopLite, for the $50 super chat.
02:26:41.000 No message.
02:26:42.000 We love you, buddy.
02:26:43.000 Appreciate it.
02:26:45.000 Dude, who cares?
02:26:45.000 They whip.
02:27:02.000 What do I think of what AOC said?
02:27:04.000 I don't really care.
02:27:06.000 This isn't Hannity.
02:27:07.000 Wrong show.
02:27:08.000 This isn't Crowder.
02:27:09.000 Hey Crowder, what did you think of AOC saying, AOC?
02:27:13.000 That socialist bartender from Boston University?
02:27:17.000 Dude.
02:27:21.000 Who cares?
02:27:23.000 Mike Van sent $3, when Hannity was getting walked over by Newsome could have muted his mic but instead did this passive-aggressive whining.
02:27:31.000 I would appreciate it if you guys could cooperate lol.
02:27:33.000 I don't fault him for that.
02:27:36.000 I think it's just the nature of the beast.
02:27:40.000 Monkey Boy King sent $3.
02:27:42.000 Will you ever eat chocolate pudding again?
02:27:44.000 Duh dude.
02:27:46.000 Come on now.
02:27:48.000 So Nick, will you ever eat pudding again?
02:27:53.000 Hey, after you saw that, I bet you'd never eat a pudding again, right?
02:27:58.000 Dude, just stop.
02:28:03.000 Why?
02:28:03.000 Why that?
02:28:04.000 Why would you?
02:28:05.000 Some of the stuff people write, I'm just like, why?
02:28:09.000 Who might write that?
02:28:11.000 I bet you'd never eat a chocolate pudding again, right?
02:28:17.000 Right?
02:28:18.000 Because you saw that clip and it grossed you out?
02:28:23.000 I don't like chocolate pudding.
02:28:24.000 I don't like pudding.
02:28:25.000 What adult eats pudding?
02:28:28.000 I can't eat that crap anymore.
02:28:30.000 Too old for that.
02:28:36.000 Let's go!
02:28:37.000 Hey, thank you for the big super chat.
02:28:39.000 07s to ImHopLite.
02:28:41.000 He sent all the big super chats tonight.
02:28:43.000 We love you, my man.
02:28:45.000 07s to ImHopLite.
02:28:48.000 Big shout out.
02:28:49.000 I appreciate it.
02:28:52.000 Vincent Price sent $5.00.
02:28:53.000 Headaches and stomach problems?
02:28:56.000 When was the last time you went to the doctor?
02:28:58.000 I'm not really asking for your advice.
02:29:00.000 None of your business.
02:29:01.000 Please, shut the fuck up.
02:29:05.000 Schreiber sent $3.00.
02:29:05.000 When was the last time you went to the doctor?
02:29:07.000 What are you, my mom?
02:29:10.000 Back... Why are you nagging me?
02:29:12.000 I swear, man.
02:29:13.000 Everyone's always... Everyone is always so far up my ass about everything.
02:29:20.000 Honestly...
02:29:22.000 I'm ready for Keith Woods to just take all this off my plate and then I can just go live in the jungles of Vietnam in retirement.
02:29:33.000 I can take my small fortune and go live in Vietnam or wherever and live out my days playing Call of War and eating whatever they got over there, eating centipede on a stick or whatever.
02:29:51.000 Grilled grasshopper on a fucking stick.
02:29:55.000 So I don't have to have everybody constantly up my... When's the last time you went to a doctor?
02:30:03.000 Why?
02:30:03.000 Why are you asking me this?
02:30:06.000 Dude... I haven't been to the doctor in years.
02:30:14.000 Woah!
02:30:14.000 Woah, hot take!
02:30:15.000 Wow, you really get it.
02:30:16.000 The 3,000 foot view!
02:30:30.000 The 10,000 foot view.
02:30:32.000 Thank you for that enormous insight.
02:30:35.000 Enormous contribution to the field by JFK Kruiper.
02:30:39.000 Jews won the debate.
02:30:40.000 They both agree on the Jews.
02:30:43.000 Whoa.
02:30:45.000 Somebody just hit the baste button.
02:30:47.000 Whoa.
02:30:48.000 Somebody get this guy away from the baste button.
02:30:50.000 Because he just hit it.
02:30:57.000 Unironically, it's probably low testosterone, I think.
02:31:06.000 That's how you know, by the way, that diet is bullshit.
02:31:11.000 Here's how you know that.
02:31:13.000 Okay, check this out.
02:31:15.000 If I go and take human growth hormone and testosterone and steroids
02:31:22.000 You will know it immediately.
02:31:25.000 If I go and I get the good stuff, I get testosterone, you will know it.
02:31:31.000 I will be visibly, dramatically, noticeably different.
02:31:35.000 I will pack on muscle.
02:31:38.000 I will be huge.
02:31:40.000 If I start going to the gym and I start measuring my macronutrients and blah blah blah, you know, maybe in 12 months you may notice a subtle change.
02:31:49.000 That's how you know it's bullshit.
02:31:51.000 Because somebody who is on a diet
02:31:57.000 And does their macros and this and that.
02:32:00.000 I mean, they will not put on as much muscle as someone on testosterone that eats nothing but ice cream.
02:32:06.000 If I go on an ice cream and chocolate diet, all these things that, you know, sugar is bad for you, seed oils.
02:32:14.000 I could go and eat McDonald's Big Macs and ice cream and chocolate chip cookies and be on steroids and hormones.
02:32:24.000 And I will look way better than someone who has a perfect diet and no steroids.
02:32:29.000 And that's how you know none of that is real.
02:32:32.000 You know, someone could take all the supplements.
02:32:35.000 I took my magnesium in the morning and I took my vitamin D twice a day and the C and I got 150 milligrams of protein or 150 grams of protein and blah blah blah and it's like oh really?
02:32:49.000 Well I'm on steroids
02:32:50.000 And I eat out of the garbage.
02:32:52.000 And every day I jump in a garbage can and I just eat garbage.
02:32:58.000 Today I ate 100 Reese's Outrageous Bars.
02:33:04.000 And I look like the Hulk.
02:33:06.000 I look like Hulk Hogan.
02:33:08.000 That's how you know it's bullshit.
02:33:11.000 So it really doesn't... Macronutrients I don't think actually matter.
02:33:14.000 I think calories matter.
02:33:16.000 I think testosterone matters.
02:33:17.000 I think that's it.
02:33:20.000 I think the rest is a load of shit.
02:33:23.000 And I think people are doing too much.
02:33:25.000 People are doing too much.
02:33:28.000 You know?
02:33:28.000 It's all genetics and it's all hormones.
02:33:31.000 It's all endocrine system.
02:33:33.000 None of the other stuff really matters.
02:33:35.000 They say, you know, well what's your split?
02:33:41.000 I saw some person was telling me, well you're just not doing it right.
02:33:44.000 You gotta do three sets like this and you know carry heavy things and blah blah blah.
02:33:49.000 It's like really?
02:33:50.000 How about I go on Human Growth Hormone?
02:33:52.000 What will my results be if I'm on?
02:33:54.000 I think it basically doesn't matter if I'm on Human Growth Hormone.
02:34:02.000 So, if you want to really do something that supercharges your body, do that.
02:34:09.000 Otherwise, it seems fake.
02:34:12.000 Seems like it's all fake.
02:34:18.000 I think whatever will happen will happen.
02:34:29.000 Well, it was it was messed up.
02:34:32.000 Okay, because I did not listen to this song at all this year So I think I had it on repeat on accident at some point, but it was sleepyhead by passion pit which I I did not listen to that song Maybe more than twice this whole year, but for whatever reason that was my number one.
02:34:50.000 So I think I
02:34:52.000 I accidentally left it on repeat or something at some point.
02:34:58.000 But let me pull up, let me see what my number 2 was.
02:35:01.000 Because my number 2 was legit.
02:35:04.000 My number 2 was Royal Otis Motels.
02:35:07.000 3 was Vehicle Dissolved by Provoker.
02:35:12.000 4 was Rose in a Glass by Provoker.
02:35:14.000 5 was Courtside by Tim Atlas.
02:35:18.000 That was my...
02:35:21.000 That was my Spotify.
02:35:23.000 Unwrapped.
02:35:29.000 So there you go.
02:35:30.000 Thank you.
02:35:31.000 Thank you.
02:35:49.000 Why'd you send that 20 minutes apart?
02:35:50.000 I only tip $1, but thank you.
02:36:09.000 Papa John's!
02:36:10.000 I haven't had the Papa J in a while.
02:36:12.000 I've been trying to eat healthy because I'm falling apart at the seams.
02:36:16.000 I am working out, so I'm trying to eat protein.
02:36:19.000 I've been eating pretty clean.
02:36:20.000 You know, today I had tacos.
02:36:21.000 Tacos are pretty clean.
02:36:22.000 You know, if you get a Mexican style, you know, like a corn tortilla, onions and cilantro.
02:36:27.000 It's all protein.
02:36:30.000 So I got some tacos.
02:36:32.000 I got some steak and chicken tacos.
02:36:36.000 I got chick-fil-a.
02:36:38.000 I know that's not the best, but it's protein, you know?
02:36:41.000 And I got the tenders, so no bread.
02:36:43.000 I got barbecue.
02:36:46.000 I got really good barbecue the other day.
02:36:48.000 I think that's what made me sick, though.
02:36:51.000 Whenever I eat barbecue, it makes me sick.
02:36:53.000 I don't know what it is about barbecue, but...
02:36:56.000 I can't handle it.
02:36:57.000 Every time I get barbecue I get really sick.
02:37:03.000 But I went to this great place the other day and I got mac and cheese, I got cornbread, and I got a brisket.
02:37:10.000 The thing is I like
02:37:12.000 I don't really like the barbecue meat.
02:37:15.000 I like all the other stuff.
02:37:16.000 I like the cornbread.
02:37:17.000 I like the mac and cheese.
02:37:18.000 I like the sides.
02:37:20.000 I don't really ever like the actual meat.
02:37:23.000 I don't like smoked meat.
02:37:25.000 It doesn't do it for me.
02:37:27.000 But that always makes me sick.
02:37:29.000 It kills me.
02:37:34.000 Someone says it's the sauce.
02:37:36.000 You think so?
02:37:38.000 Is it the sauce?
02:37:44.000 I looked online, it said it's a sodium or it's hidden fats.
02:37:49.000 It's very fatty, people say.
02:37:58.000 What is it?
02:37:59.000 What do you think it is?
02:38:02.000 Someone says food is medicine.
02:38:04.000 No, it isn't.
02:38:07.000 I love when people just say the dumbest, food is medicine.
02:38:10.000 Oh, I never thought of it that way.
02:38:16.000 It's the pork?
02:38:19.000 But it was brisket.
02:38:20.000 It was beef brisket.
02:38:24.000 It's literally the pork.
02:38:25.000 It's beef brisket!
02:38:27.000 How could it be pork if it's beef?
02:38:37.000 It's very fatty.
02:38:38.000 Pork is fatty.
02:38:41.000 Is brisket always pork or is it sometimes beef?
02:38:47.000 It was beef!
02:38:48.000 You're saying it's pork!
02:38:50.000 It's beef!
02:38:54.000 Everyone's saying in the live chat it was the pork.
02:38:56.000 It was a brisket, dude!
02:39:05.000 Pork in the beef?
02:39:06.000 They put pork in it?
02:39:19.000 They put pork in it?
02:39:22.000 Brisket is a cut of meat from the breast of beef or veal.
02:39:27.000 Oh yeah, that's what I thought.
02:39:36.000 I said brisket, everyone's saying it's pork.
02:39:40.000 I'm like, what?
02:39:45.000 People are saying it's big beef.
02:39:48.000 Big beef.
02:39:51.000 That's funny.
02:39:52.000 It's big beef.
02:39:55.000 It was a Wagyu brisket.
02:40:02.000 Someone says brisket is always beef.
02:40:04.000 That's what I thought.
02:40:05.000 That's why I'm confused.
02:40:06.000 Everybody's saying it was the pork that made you sick.
02:40:09.000 They're like, yeah, the pork was very fatty.
02:40:10.000 I'm like, it's not pork.
02:40:16.000 It's pork brisket, said somebody.
02:40:19.000 That's funny.
02:40:24.000 Anyway.
02:40:26.000 It was good, but the meat always makes me sick.
02:40:30.000 I guess it's probably too fatty.
02:40:32.000 I think that's what it is.
02:40:36.000 John White sent $10.
02:40:38.000 Happy Cybertruck Day.
02:40:39.000 Thank you.
02:40:42.000 ImHopLite sent $100.

02:41:00.000 I hope you all realize that.
02:41:03.000 For whatever reason, people don't like to super chat when I do the debate streams.
02:41:06.000 So this guy is... This is brought to you by ImHopLite.
02:41:09.000 So thank you a lot.
02:41:12.000 Wonder Pets Patriots sent $5.
