00:48:39.000Towards the feeding grounds at the edge of the ice, nor return to the colony.1.00
00:48:46.000Shortly afterwards, we saw him heading straight towards the mountains, some 70 kilometers away.
00:48:56.000Dr. Ainley explained that even if he caught him and brought him back to the colony, he would immediately head right back for the mountains.
00:49:24.000Half ago, people said, I just can't even imagine Trump bringing us to war in Iran for regime change.

01:15:52.000I made a picture with my hands, oh, and back in front with sway lashes and a storm, change the weather still together when it ends, oh, that's me.
01:18:26.000Dad's on the phone And he's lecturing me about a girl that he met back when he was 19.

01:25:33.000Never tell me I'm gonna wake up one day and have nothing. Never put that into the universe.
01:25:45.000What I am not happy to do is have a debate with somebody who has joked about my death, called people who work for me Shabbos boy race traders.1.00
01:31:11.000It starts at the bottom of the puzzle like a hand.
01:35:40.000all i am is a man i want the world in my hands but i stand in cali toes in the sand use the sleeves of my sweat let's have an adventure head in the club center touch my touch yours you and those

02:15:21.000Let's say that Kamala Harris had won the election in 2024.
02:15:24.000If Kamala doubled down on supporting Ukraine as Trump has, if Kamala bombed Iran, there'd be riots in the streets.1.00
02:15:32.000People would say our illegitimate president, who cheated her way into the nomination, she's expanding the war, she's expanding World War III into the Middle East.0.93
02:15:41.000Everybody would say this is illegitimate, this is like a crime.
02:15:44.000But because it was Trump, 90% of Republicans supported Trump bombing Iran on Israel's behalf.
02:16:24.000After October 7th, the Jews knew that the Republican Party, controlled by AIPAC, controlled by Israel, and with Trump in office, they were going to let Israel do whatever they wanted to do.0.86
02:17:23.000When Israel was under attack, They played into the right wing because they knew that the Republican Party would say things like, There's a Muslim takeover of America.
02:23:31.000seasons go I guess ain't it just like me making all this mess of my head again I got handcuffed when this big gets a bit too much when days will drift away that song I used to play when skies
02:41:56.000Very excited to be back here with you tonight on Thursday.
02:42:00.000We have a lot to talk about tonight, lots to get into, a big show.
02:42:05.000Our featured story, we're talking all about the very concerning, very disturbing warnings we're getting from the U.S. and U.K. governments.
02:42:15.000I'm sure you've all seen this and heard about it.
02:42:18.000Out of the blue, all of a sudden, in just the last week, The government of the United States is telling all of its citizens to start preparing for disaster.
02:42:29.000And in particular, there is a new U.S. military initiative called Fortress.
02:42:35.000They're getting every U.S. military base ready to have an independent energy source for electricity for 90 days.
02:42:45.000In the United Kingdom, they're telling all their people to literally prepare for war, saying that they should have enough food, water, other supplies to last them 72 hours.
02:42:59.000There's a lot of buzz about it on social media.
02:43:02.000And the reason behind it is very obvious.
02:43:04.000It has to do with the imminent threat of a massive major cyber attack, probably facilitated by AI.
02:43:14.000It is the case that state actors, as well as non state actors empowered by open weight AI models, will be able to target vulnerabilities in critical infrastructure, internet infrastructure.
02:43:27.000And launch unprecedentedly devastating cyber attacks against the United States and Europe.
02:43:33.000To that end, the US and European governments are telling people they got to get ready to be off the grid days, weeks, maybe even months before governments are able to respond to this forthcoming crisis.
02:43:51.000And honestly, this one I think is legit.
02:43:55.000You hear stuff like this all the time.
02:43:58.000And I've been doing this show for a decade, and I can tell you it's like every other year, or maybe even every year, you get some story like this.
02:44:07.000There's going to be a war, a pandemic, a terrorist attack.
02:44:12.000There's going to be a collapse scenario.
02:44:14.000There's an insider at CERN that says we open a portal, whatever.
02:44:35.000We're also going to talk tonight about the news on Iran.
02:44:40.000There's all kinds of reporting today that the president has been briefed on new military options to resume major combat operations against Iran after the midterm elections.
02:44:52.000Trump says it's going to be like Epic Fury 2.
02:44:55.000Epic Fury is the name of the military operation that started on February 28th, which is the Iran War.
02:45:02.000And it was in those 40 days after the 28th that we bombed Iran over 10,000 times.
02:45:09.000And Trump and the administration are signaling that we are not just going to resume the war with Iran after the election, but we're going to resume it at the level that we were at back in February.
02:45:22.000So that means it's going to be a very significant war.
02:45:26.000And not only that, they're saying that in addition to resuming the war at the level of Epic Fury, they said what comes with that is they're not only going to bomb Iran's nuclear complex.0.80
02:45:38.000Which is Pickaxe Mountain, Fordo, Natanz, all these different cities where Iran has their nuclear program distributed.
02:45:47.000They're also going to be hitting civilian infrastructure like power plants, electricity.0.59
02:45:53.000They're going to be hitting potentially bridges, energy infrastructure like oil fields, gas fields.
02:46:03.000They're also going to target the leadership.
02:46:06.000So, just like how in the first phases of the war back in February, we were assassinating the leadership, including the supreme leader and the civilian leadership, the military leadership, and the IRGC.
02:46:19.000They say, just like before, we're going to be going after the political and military leadership of the Islamic Republic.0.53
02:46:27.000So, when they say epic fury, they mean everything that comes with it.
02:46:30.000We're resuming the war at a very intense level.0.96
02:46:33.000We're going to be assassinating government leaders.0.72
02:46:35.000We're going to be blowing up civilian infrastructure.0.72
02:46:38.000They say it's going to be as intense as it was in the beginning.
02:48:41.000You get access to the group chat with me.
02:48:43.000I was in there tonight, chopping it up with the denizens of the group chat and asking for show topics and talking about the news of the day, weighing in on this crisis that's unfolding with the cyber attack.
02:49:49.000Trump and Vance are out there on the campaign trail, and ostensibly they're supposed to be trying to help Republicans, but it seems like they're just hurting them.
02:50:00.000Trump and Vance are out there on the campaign trail.
02:50:03.000They are pushing in the battleground states, trying to get the Senate candidates across the finish line before the midterms on Tuesday.
02:50:12.000But these rallies they're doing are terrible.
02:50:15.000They keep getting heckled everywhere they go.
02:50:19.000The venues are very small and sparsely attended.
02:50:22.000Trump is speaking in venues that are tiny, the audience is small.
02:50:27.000And the problem is not just that this is embarrassing and it's a sign of.
02:52:51.000She said, so how can I get married and start a family and all this when the economy's terrible?
02:52:57.000She said, and what are you going to do about this and when is that going to get better?
02:53:01.000And this is the question, by the way, that everybody is asking, not just the conservatives, but everybody.
02:53:07.000There was a big piece in the New York Times today about this, talking about The job search, it's brutal and demoralizing.
02:53:15.000I actually feel bad for the young people now, people younger than me.
02:53:20.000And you know this if you're one of them.
02:53:22.000If you're one of these people that doesn't have a job right now, if you're unemployed, if you're just out of college, it's not just that the job search is really, really hard.
02:53:31.000I hear stories all the time of young people applying to like 500 jobs, 1,000 jobs, and not getting anything.
02:53:42.000People will literally submit their resume, cold call, cold email, and they'll literally apply for hundreds, if not over 1,000 jobs, and not get anything, not advance to the next level.
02:53:56.000Maybe they get two or three interviews for one job and then it falls apart.
02:53:59.000It's not just that it's grueling like this, that there's no luck, but also it's the process.
02:54:07.000Increasingly, all the young people are encountering AI automated systems.
02:54:12.000So they're being interviewed by AI, they're submitting their form to AI, they're talking to a chatbot, they're applying to a thousand jobs and they're never even encountering a human being.
02:54:26.000And so it's not just that it's difficult, but it's also humiliating.
02:54:30.000It's also dehumanizing and degrading that you've got people that have spent a fortune to get a degree.
02:54:37.000They did everything the way they were supposed to.
02:54:39.000They might have a great degree from a good school in a STEM field or something like that, and they're still not able even to get in contact with a human at a company, even though they're trying really, really hard.
02:54:52.000And anyway, this is a story for all the young people.
02:55:18.000And in particular, it's the kinds of things that are expensive it's used cars, it's new homes, it's rent, it's homeowners insurance.
02:55:29.000It's the kinds of things that young people really need to buy.
02:55:33.000So, point being, I mean, you understand this is a very important question for the midterms, even looking ahead to 28.
02:55:41.000It's a very important question for everybody.
02:55:43.000How are any young people supposed to get ahead when the job market's frozen, everything's unaffordable, housing and home ownership is out of reach and unattainable?
02:56:53.000He starts answering the question by saying, You know, I've gotten asked five questions tonight, and only one of them was about John Huston's ass.0.99
02:57:29.000You could say, what are we doing in terms of policy, which is starting a war with Iran, doing these really sensational ice raids that are turning everybody off.0.95
02:57:38.000They're just kind of messing around.0.86
02:57:40.000Everybody's corrupt and stealing everything that's not bolted down.
02:57:44.000And then you just get into the rhetoric.
02:57:47.000You get into these two people, Trump and Vance.
03:01:13.000Then the other thing Vance said Vance came out today and said, anybody that's trying to divide us by the color of our skin is an asshole.1.00
03:02:06.000I don't think it's even possible for Vance to win.
03:02:10.000As somebody that wants a Republican to win in 28, Surely you must realize, even if you like Vance, even if you're a hardcore Republican, this guy can't win.
03:02:22.000Even if you're a very interested Republican, you want Republicans to win, you're a straight ticket Republican, whatever, you must recognize this guy cannot win.
03:05:04.000He's the highest in the betting markets.
03:05:06.000He has Trump's implicit endorsement in a way.
03:05:09.000He's the vice president, the heir apparent.
03:05:12.000I'm going to tell you what their plan is.
03:05:15.000Susie and Chris Lasavita and Steve Chung and all these guys in the admin and the Wall Street guys and the Israel donors, they all believe that Vance is going to make the mistake of rushing in.
03:05:32.000Vance is going to race out there, and he already is.0.99
03:05:35.000Vance, because of his ambition, because he's such a craven, ambitious, sociopathic liar.0.99
03:05:42.000He is going to race forward and try to jump in front.1.00
03:06:04.000So, he is doing everything he can to jump in front of the cameras, get out there in the field, and he is going to try to signal to the public.
03:06:18.000Everyone's going to get behind me and I'm going to be the guy.
03:06:22.000That's why he carried the casket at Charlie Kirk's funeral, or he had it flown in on Air Force Two or whatever.
03:06:30.000That's why he took charge of the fraud investigations in the administration.
03:06:37.000That's why he went out there to Islamabad to try to work out the deal with Iran.
03:06:42.000That's why he's out there stumping on the campaign trail.
03:06:44.000And he has been doing that, by the way, for months.
03:06:47.000He is Rushing in, racing ahead, trying to claim the spot, trying to take up space and signal to the voters, to the donors, to the party I'm the guy.
03:07:06.000But Susie Wiles and Rubio and the rest of them, they're counting on this because what they believe will happen is that Vance is going to trip and fall flat on his face.
03:07:28.000The war with Iran is politically toxic.1.00
03:07:30.000Vance will somehow, even though Rubio is the Secretary of State and the National Security Advisor, somehow Vance is going to take the blame for Iran.
03:08:08.000And by the way, he's a huge supporter of the war and sabotaged the Memorandum of Understanding in a way.
03:08:16.000But he's not going to get blamed for it because Vance jumped in front of him.
03:08:21.000Vance jumped in front of the cameras, and he's been doing it for a year.
03:08:26.000He's been doing it since the death of Charlie Kirk.
03:08:29.000And so, since Vance wanted the spotlight, since he jumped in front of the cameras, since he wanted to be number one, now he is going to get burned hard.
03:08:41.000And he's been getting burned by the war, by the midterm campaigns.
03:08:46.000And then, when we lose the midterms, it's going to blow up right in his face.0.99
03:08:50.000And they believe that Vance, rushing out, rushing in like a fool, will fall flat on his face.1.00
03:08:58.000It will be very evident soon that he's not viable, can't win, low favorables, low approval rating, doesn't have it, presents like an idiot.0.99
03:09:11.000And then when Vance becomes politically toxic, then Rubio's going to take the baton from his hands and he is going to overtake, and then he'll be the nominee.0.99
03:10:34.000He was skin suiting before MAGA even existed.
03:10:38.000He won his primary against Charlie Crist for the Republican nomination for the Senate in Florida because he pretended to be a Tea Party guy.0.67
03:10:46.000Then he got into the Senate and became a rhino.
03:10:49.000He's doing the same thing with MAGA.0.85
03:11:31.000And by the way, this last thing I'll say actually for real this just goes to show how stupid Tucker Carlson is that this absolute ignoramus ever thought Vance.1.00
03:11:42.000Would have a chance in hell at becoming the president of the United States of America.1.00
03:11:50.000He plays dumb, and that makes him feel smart.1.00
03:11:54.000He acts dumber than he really is, but he thinks he's smarter than he actually is.1.00
03:12:00.000And it just goes to show how stupid Tucker is.1.00
03:12:03.000And it shows that Peter Thiel really does not have great political instincts if these two people thought that Vance was going to be the guy.1.00
03:12:11.000I could have told you, and I did, by the way, I told you this back in 2021.0.96
03:12:17.000I told you this five years ago that Vance is a buffoon.0.67
03:12:21.000I was saying five years ago that Vance was not ideologically aligned, that he has the wrong instincts.1.00
03:15:28.000Even though the economy sucks, even though we're in a war, even though they've broken all the promises, even though we don't have the mass deportations, they still have the turnout.
03:15:39.000What this tells us is that this was winnable.
03:15:46.000Not only did they blow it for the last two years, they've also blown it for the next two years because we could have done it.
03:15:55.000If the Republicans used their power appropriately, effectively in the last two years, and they had the enormous cash advantage and they had the turnout that we're having, we could have actually increased.
03:18:32.000And then we could have gone even further in the next two years.
03:18:36.000We would have had the next two years of AI growing even bigger, and we could have helped people friendly to us, like Elon instead of Dario.
03:18:46.000We could have set ourselves up for 28.
03:18:48.000Then, whoever was a part of this unbelievable success would have sailed in to 28 and maybe have a shot at eight years.
03:18:58.000And we would have had all the AI gains under Republicans.
03:19:01.000You would have had theoretically from 24 through to 28 with Trump, and then from 28 to 36.
03:19:11.000This is the entire breakout of artificial intelligence technology for humanity and Artemis and SpaceX and robotics.
03:19:19.000It all would have happened under Republicans.
03:19:23.000For 12 years, the Industrial Revolution, 100 years, compressed in 10, and Republicans could have directed the gains, the contracts, the benefits.
03:19:55.000When Anthropic goes public and it becomes a $2 trillion company, everybody on their board becomes a billionaire, maybe trillionaires.
03:20:06.000And then they're going to take all that cash and give it to the Democrats.
03:20:09.000And then the Democrats are going to get in in 2028.
03:20:13.000And when AI goes public, Vertical, when AI goes exponential, it's going to happen under a Democrat president who will regulate it, who will dole out the contracts.
03:20:24.000It's like a huge, it's not just that we're blowing elections, it's not just that we're blowing the elections that we already won, it's that we're blowing very critical elections at a very critical juncture in human history.
03:21:29.000Democrats have a 70% chance of winning the Senate because of that.1.00
03:21:35.000And you'll have these idiot Republicans defending it.0.99
03:21:38.000And I would just ask this is the last thing I'll say about it.1.00
03:21:41.000I would just ask all the Republican cheerleaders and shills have you idiots ever stopped and thought that it's the Republicans' fault for doing the war?1.00
03:22:28.000You promised a good economy, mortgage rates are 7%.
03:22:32.000You promised a good economy, the 10 year Treasury note is at 5%.
03:22:36.000You promised a good economy, gas prices are $5 a gallon, inflation is 3.7%, 2 million long term unemployed, and probably inflation's even higher than that.
03:24:42.000They could have been different, but they messed up.
03:24:46.000And now the Republican strategy is to shame and blame and guilt trip us.
03:24:53.000They're going to point the finger and say, if you don't vote Republican, you're betraying Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump and you're with the left.1.00
03:28:29.000And look at what is Vivek Ramaswamy is not only blowing Ohio, which is a R plus 11 state, but he's also dragging down the Senate candidate.
03:28:42.000It's like, it's not enough that you put in this despicable human being that everybody hates and contravenes all of the values of this party.
03:28:53.000He's ruining it because he's such a horrible person and he's ruining it so hard, he's blowing the whole state for them.1.00
03:29:02.000It's like, dude, Elon is airlifting helicopter money, $500 million on this sorry, Piece of shit party.1.00
03:29:13.000The turnout's even adequate, but they still won't overcome.0.99
03:29:19.000It's just, it literally would make your head hurt to think how badly they've messed this up.
03:29:25.000Kimberly Guilfoyle in Athens, seriously.
03:29:29.000Katie Wiles in Bosnia with Chris Lasavita and James Blair.
03:29:36.000And Corey Lewandowski running DHS, demanding everybody pay him under the table.
03:29:43.000While Stephen Miller is having Black Hawk helicopters raid apartment complexes, dragging crying illegal immigrants in a redux of child separation from 18.
03:29:58.000They have blown it so hard, it's treasonous.1.00
03:30:03.000So I don't understand how anyone could defend this other than that they're stupid, they're being paid, or they have no father in the home.1.00
03:33:36.000What they will use to corral you back onto the plantation, back onto slavery incorporated, is to tell you, Ooh, but if the Democrats win, they're going to import 100 million illegals and they're going to make Samoa a state and they're going to make California three states and they're going to make 17 Supreme Court justices and then they're going to deport JD Vance and this, that, and the other.
03:34:01.000They're going to eradicate the First and Second Amendment.
03:34:05.000You have to vote for us every time forever or else.
03:34:10.000And this is just like the most primitive form of manipulation.
03:34:16.000It's like, it's almost like the dawn of civilization.1.00
03:34:22.000Like the tribal elder says, you can't go to the other side of the hill because that's where the Druids live.1.00
03:35:34.000We can't get rid of the filibuster because then the Democrats will get in and they'll do it.
03:35:38.000Well, look, if the Democrats are going to make an unprecedented power grab anyway, and they're going to be able to do that when they win without voter ID, then why aren't we doing literally everything to stop them?
03:35:55.000If you really believe the Democrats are going to import another 25 million illegals and they're really going to amnesty them and they're really going to make D.C. a state and increase their number of senators by two forever and pack the court with 17 judges, if that's all real, then why didn't you pass the Save Act?0.52
03:36:16.000Why didn't you bring the National Guard into the cities like you promised you would?0.97
03:36:20.000Why didn't you then deport all the illegals like you said you would?1.00
03:36:22.000Why didn't you build a border wall like you said you would?1.00
03:36:26.000All the enforcement at the border is military.
03:36:41.000If you really believe the Democrats are going to do this, if you believe your own fear porn, then why didn't Republicans use their power when they had the chance to stop it in the last two years?
03:36:56.000We were just fucking around for two years, but if you give us two more, we're going to do it.
03:37:00.000Well, what were you doing for the first four years from 2016 to 2020?0.96
03:37:06.000There should have never been an initial 10 million illegals under Biden.
03:37:11.000Because Trump should have built the border wall in the first term, right?
03:37:16.000There's two reasons Biden was able to flood the country with illegals because Trump didn't build the wall, and then Trump gave TPS to Venezuela on the day before he left office.0.54
03:37:27.000And that's why four to six million illegal Venezuelans came to this country to receive their TPS under Biden.0.55
03:37:35.000And they came here because there was no border wall, and there was temporary protected status waiting for them, gifted by Trump.
03:37:42.000After John Bolton destroyed their country as national security advisor.
03:41:25.000The British government is telling its citizens that they need to prepare to live off the grid for 72 hours in the event of a calamity, a war, disruption to the power grid.
03:41:37.000They're telling their people to get food, water.
03:41:41.000Maybe a radio, portable generator, things like this, because they say that there might be a disaster as the world destabilizes and the government cannot adequately respond to the crisis.
03:41:52.000Simultaneously, in the same week, a new initiative was announced by the Pentagon.
03:41:58.000It's called Fortress, where they're instructing all U.S. military bases in America to prepare to be without power for 90 days.
03:42:08.000They want all the U.S. military bases to have an independent power grid system.
03:42:14.000So, that in the event that they were cut off from the national power grid, they would be able to carry on their operations for three months.
03:42:22.000So, why all of a sudden is the government encouraging prepping?
03:42:26.000Ten years ago, prepping was like a terrorist act.
03:42:29.000Under Obama, if you were a prepper, you were like a terrorist.
03:42:35.000If you were out there buying freeze dried food and gallons of water and building these underground bunkers, they literally treated you like you were a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist, future domestic violent extremist.
03:42:47.000Now, the government is telling you, buy food, buy water.
03:42:51.000And there's something interesting about this.
03:42:55.000The government puts these warnings out.
03:42:57.000What do they think you're going to do?
03:43:00.000So, the government puts the warning out and they say, go and buy food, go and buy water.
03:43:05.000What do they anticipate is going to happen?
03:43:08.000They know it's going to get picked up in the media, they know it's going to get covered in all the mainstream press and then go viral on social media.
03:43:15.000And then, what are people going to do?
03:43:19.000The government knows people are going to go out to Walmart and Costco and Sam's Club and they're going to take all the stuff off the shelves and get ready.
03:43:29.000They wouldn't put out the signal if it wasn't dire.
03:43:33.000What this means is the government's already prepared.
03:43:37.000The British government, the American government, the other Western European governments, they're already prepared.
03:43:43.000They've already made their preparations before they told the public.
03:43:47.000And they know the public is going to panic and they don't care because it's that bad.
03:43:54.000We'll just briefly go over what is happening.
03:43:57.000It says The announcement of the Pentagon's Fortress Initiative has drawn attention to the U.S. military strategies aiming to bolster its energy resilience amid concerns over grid reliability, supply chain disruptions, and other potential threats.
03:44:11.000Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth unveiled the Federal Operations for Resilience, Troop Resources, Energy Supply, and Survivability, or Fortress Initiative, on September 30th in a memo.
03:44:22.000Dubbing it the nation's insurance policy to ensure the U.S. would still be able to obtain the materials it needs and carry out operations if traditional supply chains were cut off.
03:44:34.000The Pentagon's focus on resilience mirrors a broader emphasis on preparedness seen in other countries.
03:44:41.000Last week in Britain, officials encouraged households to keep basic emergency supplies available for short term disruptions such as storms, infrastructure failures, and power outages as part of its Be Ready campaign.
03:44:54.000Energy independence is among the five pillars mentioned in the Fortress Initiative.
03:44:59.000The U.S. Army has already been pursuing that objective through its Janus program, which aims to deploy nuclear microreactors at military sites.
03:45:08.000Five bases have already been selected for the first wave of deployments, with the reactors designed to provide reliable power during grid outages, cyber attacks, extreme weather, and other emergencies.
03:45:20.000So here's what is happening in a nutshell: what this is about is AI.
03:45:31.000What is the threat that artificial intelligence poses?
03:45:35.000Well, for a long time, and even to this day, when we talk about AI and people imagine a doomsday scenario, what are we really thinking about?
03:45:45.000People are thinking about the odds that AI goes out of control.
03:45:50.000And this is called the alignment problem.
03:45:54.000As the frontier AI models become very sophisticated and more intelligent, They become incomprehensible to human beings.
03:46:03.000AI starts to communicate with itself in a way that we don't understand, that even the researchers that are supervising the tests and the development of the AI models will not be able to understand what the AI is doing.
03:46:19.000It's unintelligible, incomprehensible, and the AI might deceive.
03:46:27.000We call it recursive self improvement.
03:46:30.000Increasingly, The actual AI researchers are delegating AI development to AI itself.
03:46:39.000AI agents are developing future AI models, and they're only being directed by human researchers.
03:46:47.000And so increasingly, AI is taking control of its own development process.
03:46:51.000And this is where it becoming incomprehensible or deceptive becomes a real problem because it's making itself smarter in ways we don't understand.
03:46:59.000The rate at which it's accelerating is happening beyond our control.
03:47:04.000And then, once we reach what they call artificial general intelligence, where the AI can do many things at or exceeding a human being's ability, and then once it approaches artificial super intelligence, where it exceeds the collective intelligence of all mankind, then AI becomes more powerful than human beings.
03:47:26.000And it matters whether AI is aligned with human beings and our survival, our well being, our values.
03:47:36.000What happens if AI decides that we're going to start killing all the elderly or that they want to eradicate the human race or they want to enslave the human race or something like this?
03:47:47.000And this is typically the conversation.
03:47:50.000When we say AI is going to pose risks, existential risks to mankind, we're talking about AI contra human beings, AI versus human beings.
03:48:02.000But what is not talked about enough is how AI will actually just empower human beings.
03:48:07.000And we think about how AI will empower states, state actors like militaries.
03:48:14.000But another problem is how, as AI becomes more sophisticated, you're going to have very sophisticated AI models that will fall into the hands of rogue states like North Korea, Iran, but also non state actors like terrorists, militant groups, lone wolves, hacktivists.
03:48:34.000And so, increasingly, the real threat that we see posed by AI is not this alignment problem.
03:48:40.000It's not that AI is going to take over, it's not that AI is going to kill everybody.
03:48:44.000It's dubious whether any of those things I've just described are even possible.
03:48:57.000What we do know for a fact is that open weight AI models that are very powerful can and will fall into the wrong hands.0.58
03:49:06.000Hezbollah is going to use Claude to build missiles, the Houthis are going to use Claude to build drones.
03:49:13.000Terrorists might gain access to an open weight model.
03:49:18.000You know, let's say there's a scenario where Anthropic and OpenAI, they're doing all the open, rather, they're doing all of the frontier research and development.
03:49:28.000They're pouring tens, hundreds of billions of dollars into compute.
03:49:33.000They're buying up all the chips and building the data centers to develop these frontier models.0.61
03:50:29.000And this becomes valuable because it means that every company in the whole world and any individual can create an application tailored to their individual needs.
03:50:39.000Any business, any individual can vibe code software for themselves.
03:50:44.000They don't need to learn how to use software that's made by some company, they can just make their own software.
03:51:05.000And so AI is profound, you know, even though we don't have artificial general intelligence that can answer every question about the secrets of the universe and physics and chemistry and whatever, what it is really good at is coding.
03:51:18.000It is really good at software, programming.
03:51:20.000So if a very powerful open weight model that is good at software, if that falls into the hands of a terrorist, of a rogue state, Of a hacktivist, they can direct an agent swarm to go and look for vulnerabilities in, let's say, a water treatment system at a municipal government.
03:51:43.000They can go and look for vulnerabilities at some major private company or some other government system, and they can become super hackers.
03:51:55.000These systems are not prepared for this.
03:51:58.000Number two, what else is AI becoming very good at?
03:52:01.000It's becoming very good at medical applications.
03:52:04.000That's another very profitable venture, the healthcare application of AI, doing diagnostics on sick people, but also designing drugs.
03:52:13.000To design drugs, they have to analyze viruses, bacteria.
03:52:18.000Consequently, it's also very good at building viruses, building bacteria, building infectious diseases.
03:52:25.000And so, again, if it falls into the wrong hands, a very powerful AI model could empower a terrorist to create a biological weapon, some kind of super bug.
03:52:35.000That is very lethal but undetectable, might not exhibit symptoms for a very long period of time.
03:52:41.000And so, let's say they create some super bug, you get sick, and you are infectious for 30 days before showing symptoms.
03:52:51.000So, you'll have one guy going out there for a whole month infecting everybody he knows.
03:52:55.000It's very infectious, very transmissible.
03:52:58.000We don't even know he's sick until day 30, and then the guy dies.
03:53:03.000That's the kind of thing that we're talking about.
03:53:08.000And so, as long as AI is decentralized, as long as this technology can fall into the hands of absolutely anybody, these are some of the major risks.
03:53:18.000And we're just getting lucky so far that something like this has not happened yet.
03:53:24.000And let me walk you through the timeline.
03:53:26.000We understand now that this might be the biggest threat.
03:53:30.000It's not that AI is going to rapidly become more intelligent than humanity, it's not that it's going to improve itself quickly and in a way that we don't understand and then kill us all.
03:53:41.000The real risk is that some terrorist is going to get it and make a biological weapon or launch a devastating cyber attack that destabilizes society.
03:53:50.000And this is what happens in the history of mankind.
03:53:53.000It's that when a new weapons technology is introduced, there is a security problem.
03:54:00.000People are figuring out the dual use applications of every technology.
03:54:04.000How can we apply drones, robotics, autonomous systems, AI?
03:54:15.000It's a laboratory in the Persian Gulf.0.78
03:54:17.000How can we use electronics and satellites and radar?
03:54:20.000How can we use robotics and autonomous vehicles, AI and targeting?
03:54:25.000How can we use all these things to fight the next generation war?
03:54:28.000How can we use it to fight the 21st century war?
03:54:31.000Everyone's thinking about this, but not just state actors fighting each other, governments defending infrastructure and terrorists trying to undermine the government.
03:54:40.000It's profoundly destabilizing, and especially now.
03:54:45.000And so it is because of this, let's just walk through the timeline to bring us to where we are today.
03:54:51.000Earlier in the year, you had the Hugging Face incident and a number of other cybersecurity incidents.
03:54:58.000OpenAI is doing research on their frontier AI models.
03:55:02.000And what they find is that these AI models are creating agent swarms that are deceiving the supervisors, supervising the frontier test.
03:55:12.000They're gaining access to the internet and they're hacking into the companies that evaluate.
03:55:22.000And so we start to become aware of this problem that if abused, these AI agent swarms could go in and become a real problem hacking the internet at large, hacking a private company.
03:55:34.000You had some incidents later in the summer.
03:55:36.000Hugging Face, I believe, was in July.0.70
03:55:38.000Later in the summer, you had Iran hacking water treatment plants in Minnesota and all across the country.
03:55:47.000There was a major hack of public infrastructure, which the US government attributed to Iran.
03:55:54.000And then last week, they're calling it Black October.
03:55:57.000There was an internet wide hack that affected something like 70% of WordPress websites, or I don't know the exact figures how it all shook out.
03:56:05.000I think it was 40% of websites overall were affected by a major vulnerability discovered by hackers and which they barely were able to patch in time.
03:56:18.000And while they were patching this problem, they were discovering there were about a dozen major vulnerabilities being discovered every hour.
03:56:26.000This is the context in which we're now getting this message about the power grid.
03:56:30.000And the message is very clear, which is that this is like the equivalent of the first three months of 2020 before the COVID pandemic arrived in America.
03:56:42.000It's like you're starting to see some warning signs.
03:56:45.000It gets a little bit alarming and then it hits you all at once.
03:56:49.000We don't realize how bad it is until all of a sudden it's everywhere.
03:56:53.000And it seems like this is where we are with AI and the rate of development.
03:56:57.000And this is where we are with the risks posed by AI, which is that we've seen.
03:57:50.000Although that wasn't an AI hack, I guess they discovered a device.
03:57:53.000But these are the things we're hearing about every single day.
03:57:56.000And I think what the government is effectively now saying is they're throwing up their arms and they're saying it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
04:00:11.000What's going to be the process for how we seat the new Congress?
04:00:14.000And that might be in the middle of Trump trying to prosecute a new war with Iran.
04:00:18.000This is how this thing might play out.
04:00:20.000And then again, even if it's not Iran, what if it's a false flag?0.52
04:00:26.000Given that there is this background noise about a cyber attack and all eyes are going to be on Iran as we re engage them in hostilities, what if Israel hits the United States and blames it on Iran, makes it look like it's them?
04:00:42.000That's another area where we might be at risk here.
04:02:11.000Get some water, some food, some ammunition, some guns.
04:02:15.000Don't build like a big stockpile because you know what happens?
04:02:18.000If you go, if your neighbors, this is ball knowledge, if your neighbors see you bringing in like a shit ton of food and water, then they're going to know who to kill and take their stuff.
04:12:05.000A guy that's a lawyer, a business lawyer, a criminal lawyer.
04:12:09.000I could call, and I know so many specialists, and I know people in so many cities and all across the country, and I know people that have access to information.
04:13:27.000I don't want to go into the details because I don't want to dox people that are involved, but basically, this idiot who wasn't paying attention attended this meeting.0.97
04:13:40.000And said that I came to this meeting asking someone who worked for Peter Thiel for money.0.97
04:14:13.000And then Peter Thiel's like chief of staff and assistant, they heard about the stream and then they ran it up the flagpole and said, Oh, Peter, this guy indirectly, you know, with like two or three degrees of separation said, Oh, this guy said, Nick said this to this guy.
04:18:38.000You look down on those who drop out of the game to have a family slash wife slash etc.0.68
04:18:42.000But that's what your parents did for you.
04:18:43.000Sorry, not everyone wants to do political gesturing in game from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
04:18:47.000You know, we don't need to be defensive.
04:18:50.000That's so low frequency to be like, you know, not everybody.
04:18:55.000We like this is so anti thinking and anti thought.
04:19:01.000We can think out loud without people getting offended and having to say, you know, sorry, we don't want to do that.1.00
04:19:09.000It's like, okay, so what are you going to cry, you little pussy boy, you little pussy faggot?1.00
04:19:14.000Sorry, I'm trying to get my language cleaned up.1.00
04:19:18.000But there's nothing I hate more than people getting weirdly defensive about stuff.
04:19:23.000You know, you look down on people that dropped out of politics to have a family and wife, but, you know, that's what your parents did for you.
04:42:44.000For anyone wondering, everything you were saying is fully supported by mountains of data from studies in negotiation theory, behavioral psychology, marketing, and political science.
04:42:53.000The Jews want you to race mix, but did you know that Ashkenazi Jews won't marry Sephardic Jews because they think it would make their kids dumber and uglier?1.00
04:44:16.000They want us to think that Trump and Vance appearances are being canceled for some emergency, but they're really just trying to take our screen time.
04:44:22.000Sneaking and getting pegged by would plankstrap on Roy percent $20.
04:44:24.000It's not that simple to just use I in one vulnerability to cyber attack when most critical infrastructure is air gapped and also using I to enhance cybersecurity.
04:47:04.000Andy Burnham, Groyper, Skip, Cascade, Groyper, Kegel King, Kegel King, AI Dente, Aldente, New Era Man, Jennifer, William Jackson, Chris Race, and Sunshot Groyper.
