01:35:52.000 You might ask under normal circumstances, a normal person, anybody from any other country.

01:36:04.000 Well, as it turns out, the U.S. attorney, the prosecutor for Nevada and for Las Vegas, the jurisdiction where he was arrested.

01:37:14.000 It yielded basically no results at all, no deal, no ceasefire, no future summit or conference, nothing on Monday.

01:37:27.000 There was supposed to be a bilateral meeting between the Ukrainian president Zelensky and Trump at the White House.

01:37:33.000 Rapidly, this turned into a huge multilateral peace summit and it involved the head of.

01:37:41.000 the European Commission, the General Secretary of NATO, the President of France, the Prime Ministers of Italy and the United Kingdom, as well as the President of Finland.

01:37:52.000 They were all in attendance toward the White House.

01:37:56.000 And just like the summit between Trump and Putin on Friday, this big multilateral meeting of the other major parties in the conflict yielded nothing.

01:38:08.000 And in some ways it was less than nothing because all we learned after what happened on Friday and what happened on Monday is that there is no ceasefire.

01:38:17.000 There is no comprehensive peace.

01:38:21.000 Because the position of Russia, the United States, Ukraine and Europe, these, it's realistically three, but actually four parties.

01:38:33.000 They are so far apart from each other.

01:38:36.000 The only way this conflict will end is on the battlefield.

01:38:40.000 When there is exhaustion on one side or both sides, that is the only thing that is going to bring an end to the war.

01:38:47.000 And in the meantime, all these phone calls, these frantic summits and meetings and all of it, it's just a giant waste ofte of time.

01:38:59.000 And as I said last week on Thursday.

01:39:01.000 I said this before all of the negotiations.

01:39:05.000 It is just there literally for no reason other than the ceremony.

01:39:11.000 That's it.

01:39:12.000 It is just for the photo op.

01:39:15.000 It's a cheap domestic political win.

01:39:19.000 It is an exercise performing progress on this front.

01:39:24.000 And I think the reason for that is because there is so embarrassingly little real progress.

01:39:33.000 Trump said it would take 24 hours to end the war.

01:39:36.000 Here we are 200 and some days later., and they got nothing.

01:39:42.000 So they're going to create these big photo opportunities.

01:39:48.000 We're going to get into the details on this.

01:39:50.000 It's going to be a big follow up from the show on really Thursday and Friday.

01:39:55.000 Thursday and Friday, I laid out a lot of the background here and some of the strategic and tactical realities which are shaping the negotiations.

01:42:35.000 Now, everyone understands this on some level, but they are being tricked.

01:42:41.000 And the old policies, which are being continued under the new regime, all that is being done It's just different marketing.

01:43:52.000 And even though Trump campaigned on ending the war, he's going to keep the war going and give them more weapons.

01:44:01.000 We're going to say that the Europeans are paying for the weapons.

01:47:41.000 This guy has literally been groomed from the beginning for fifteen years to be the Republican president in the late 2020s and early 2030s.

01:49:18.000 And so there was this meme that went viral over the weekend where people made an observation that for all the pandering that is being done to the base, always more deportations, more racist talking about black people fighting at water parks, talking about Zoran Mandani as a foreigner, an immigrant for all this talk about physiognomy and aesthetics.

01:49:43.000 The guy that everybody is pushing on the right doesn't really fit with any of that.

01:49:50.000 His wife is an Indian immigrant.
