00:01:09.000So I just want to clear up some things because I assume if you're asking me for an introduction, then probably a lot of the counter demonstrators haven't heard of me before today.
00:01:25.000So in this article here, it says, white nationalist Nicholas Fuentes likely coming to Iowa State Wednesday, sources say.
00:01:34.000In the first paragraph here, it says, Nicholas Fuentes, host of America First, who has said he could be accurately described as a white nationalist.
00:01:42.000As he is both white and a nationalist.
00:01:44.000So, where they derive this allegation is in a live stream, somebody said, Are you a white nationalist?
00:01:50.000I said, Well, I am a nationalist who happens to be white.
00:01:53.000And of course, these are different things.
00:01:55.000If you don't believe me, I'll explain.
00:01:57.000A white nationalist believes that the United States should be an all white country.
00:02:01.000And how do you achieve that in a country that is not all white?
00:02:35.000I know a lot of people aren't happy with this, certainly, but on the issues of trade, for example, we look at trade, we have something like a $700 billion trade deficit with China.
00:02:48.000Every year, we're sending $700 billion worth of assets, debt, and currency to China.
00:02:55.000And what they do with this money, you know, they're basically sucking out the wealth of the country, sucking out the manufacturing base, the industrial base.
00:03:03.000The currency that they take in, they distribute at strategic times to manipulate the exchange rate so that they can keep this going.
00:03:09.000And this is just one example where I believe that trade practices should benefit American workers as opposed to other people.
00:03:15.000So that's my definition of a nationalist.
00:03:19.000That I was on a live stream with neo Nazi Richard Spencer, and they try to associate me with this character.
00:03:26.000Now, if anybody is familiar with my work or who I am, I've been feuding with Richard Spencer for years.
00:03:32.000He called me up on the phone, I think it was last January, late at night, drunk, to tell me that I was a spick, to tell me that my parents are housekeepers, and all this other stuff.
00:05:41.000This started, I believe, in the Arab Spring with the Syrian Civil War in 2011.
00:05:45.000Massive amounts of Arabs and North Africans moving to Europe.
00:05:49.000This has been going on in America since about 1965 with the Immigration Act, the Hart Seller Act, of South Central Americans and Mexicans moving into the country.
00:05:57.000And so, regardless of what your feelings are on this issue, this is the defining issue of our time the demographic change going on in the country.
00:06:38.000Additionally, they are talking about, politicians have discussed, and Different pollsters have projected that there will be 23 million more immigrants brought into the country by 2065.
00:06:48.000So we'll have this massive foreign born population.
00:06:51.000And what we see is that the demographic effect on the country is that the proportion of the former white majority will drop precipitously from 90% in 1965 down to less than 50% by 2042.
00:07:06.000And we're sitting here wondering what are going to be the effects of this.
00:07:09.000Now, the first effect is going to be political.
00:07:13.000If you're a right wing person, This is a bad thing.
00:07:16.000If you're a left wing person, this is a good thing.
00:07:18.000We find that in this country today, party politics is polarized along racial lines.
00:07:32.000We saw that 57% of white people voted for Donald Trump in the last election.
00:07:37.000We saw that majorities of all non white races and ethnic groups voted for Hillary Clinton.
00:07:43.000It was 90% of blacks who voted for Hillary Clinton.
00:07:47.00066% of Hispanics, 65% of Asians voted for Democrats.
00:07:52.000And so, if you're a Republican, whether you think it's great for the economy, whether you think it's great morally to bring in all these immigrants who are predominantly non white, they're Asian or Latin American, politically, it is a disaster for Republicans.
00:08:20.000And so we're seeing across the American Southwest, we're seeing even in the Southeast, even in some of the great cities in the North, immigration is redefining political parties.
00:08:29.000And this is not as elastic as people might think it is.
00:08:32.000A lot of people assume that if you get different people in the country, this doesn't really matter in this country.
00:08:37.000I think it was in 1920 with the 19th Amendment.
00:08:40.000People would assume if everybody is equal, all things being equal, more people getting the franchise should not change how voting commences, what people vote for.
00:08:48.000But we found that states who legalize the right to vote immediately generations of women voting.
00:10:36.000So, African Americans, better, 25% support gun rights over gun control.
00:10:42.000Hispanics, 28% support gun rights over gun control.
00:10:45.000So, we can see on this one issue, which is fundamental to the country this is the Second Amendment of our Constitution.
00:10:51.000You see that there is a great divergence between non whites and whites.
00:10:55.000This matters when the demographics are changing.
00:10:58.000It's not just gun rights, it's free speech.
00:11:00.000The First Amendment, as we are here to exercise today, here at the Tree of Oppression, I believe it's called, the free speech zone on campus, something that we cherish as Americans, we find that 38% of non whites believe that hate speech should be incorporated into the First Amendment versus only 23% for whites.
00:11:19.000So it's nearly double the amount of non whites versus whites that support hate speech legislation.
00:11:24.000Now, whether you agree with that or not, that is a remarkable change of what the Constitution used to represent.
00:11:30.000And lastly, we look at the Constitution.
00:11:33.000If you are a civic nationalist and you believe that race, ethnicity, gender, all of these things are interchangeable, all of these things are totally replaceable, we're all pink on the inside, what is the enduring sense of American identity?
00:11:47.000What is the enduring fixture of American identity without race, without ethnicity, without culture, without religion?
00:11:58.000And when we look at the perspective on how the Constitution should be interpreted, we find that 33% of African Americans believe that the Constitution should be interpreted according to modern times.
00:12:11.000I'm sorry, did I say it in a way that's disrespectful?
00:12:17.000Believe that the Constitution should be interpreted according to a contemporary interpretation versus 51% of whites who believe that it should be interpreted according to its original intent.
00:12:29.000And so, what we find again, whether you agree or disagree on any of these issues, we find that the country politically is polarizing along racial lines, white versus non white, on gun rights, on free speech, on the Constitution, and on other issues.
00:12:43.000Now, secondly, we look at the economic effect of immigration.
00:12:47.000Okay, and we find that there are a lot of arguments in favor of immigration because immigrants contribute to the economy.
00:12:53.000Republicans are maybe the biggest offenders when it comes to this argument.
00:12:58.000They'll say, so long as immigrants are coming here and they're working hard and they're starting businesses and they're entrepreneurs, bring in as many as possible.
00:13:06.000Donald Trump at the State of the Union and at CPAC said, we want more legal immigrants than ever.
00:13:13.000And it's because of the economics of it.
00:13:14.000And I'll say at the outset, and this is something that might interest some of the counter demonstrators, you find that the number one, the group most affected, Adversely affected by immigration in the labor market is African Americans.
00:13:27.000Number two is recently naturalized legal immigrants.
00:13:31.000So when we're talking about legal immigrants coming here and taking jobs and hurting the economy, I'm not talking about me.
00:13:36.000I'm not talking about the people in the college Republicans.
00:13:39.000I'm not talking about the constituency of Donald Trump.
00:13:41.000I'm actually talking about the constituency of the Democratic Party.
00:13:44.000But we find that at the outset, to me, what is most scandalous about the economic argument is think of this.
00:13:51.000In the next 30 to 50 years, you will see automation take over the country.
00:13:56.000Retail jobs, factory jobs, agricultural jobs, a lot of low skilled work is basically going to be, it's going to be gone, okay?
00:14:04.000It'll become an anachronism in the 21st century.
00:14:07.000All these people are going to be out of a job.
00:15:19.000It does not make sense to import people who do not have an economic fit in the country, who will not have a job waiting for them in the country.
00:16:11.000But GDP is only one part of the puzzle.
00:16:14.000If we look at the Fiscal cost of immigration.
00:16:16.000Again, this is according to Borjas, an immigrant himself, the number one immigration economist in the country from Princeton.
00:16:23.000He says that the long term fiscal cost of each individual immigrant is $119,000 over the long term.
00:16:32.000So even though if we look at simply GDP, immigration on net does not benefit or cost, if we factor in the fiscal cost of immigration, it is a net loss, it is a net drain.
00:16:43.000And it's not hard to see why if we look at Welfare statistics, as a good example, 45.8% of immigrant households receive some form of welfare compared to 27.4% of native households.
00:18:12.000So, many people, when we look at immigration, they will consider the political consequences, they will consider the economic consequences, but never considered are the cultural consequences.
00:18:41.000If we are to transform the country demographically over a period of 100 years to go from a country that was 90% white Anglo Saxon Protestant to a country that is racially different, you find that the United States has changed.
00:18:54.000You find that whether you like the new country or you don't like the country, the United States of America in 2065 is not the America of 1965.
00:20:25.000We look at the city of Chicago or the city of Detroit, and we hear from people like Charlie Kirk what is the explanation for the current condition of Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore?
00:20:36.000They say the cause of their plight is Democratic policies.
00:20:42.000They say what is wrong with Detroit, what is wrong with Baltimore.
00:20:46.000Is that these cities are run by Democrats?
00:20:49.000Well, I think it's an interesting thought experiment because I know of another city which is run by Democrats, a little city called Burlington, Vermont.
00:20:58.000Now, do we see the same problems plaguing Burlington, Vermont that we see plaguing Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit?
00:21:06.000They're all run by Democrats, but what's the difference?
00:22:33.000The point is that when we see different people come into the country, the different people are Hispanics, they are black, they are white, they are white, they are white, they are white, they are Of the East Asian, for example.
00:24:58.000And to conclude, for the college Republicans, for the turning point people, if we wish to preserve a texture of life, Which we cherish, the texture of life of our ancestors.
00:25:10.000We have to bring an end to mass immigration.
00:31:51.000Okay, so was there an issue when all the Europeans immigrated to America and took over the indigenous land, and they were also low-skilled laborers?
00:32:22.000You're stating all these historical facts and all of this.
00:32:24.000So, you're allowed to have an opinion on the past.
00:32:27.000So, if this is mass migration or mass immigration, And it's causing onboarding, you know, economical problems because of low skilled labor and all of that.
00:32:36.000Was the mass immigration to America by European Americans a problem also?
00:32:40.000It was a problem for the Native Americans, yeah.
00:34:23.000In the 20th century, we were industrialized, so we needed low skilled workers.
00:34:27.000We are de industrializing, so we need less low skilled workers.
00:34:30.000How are we de industrializing when you said job creation?
00:34:32.000If mass immigration is such a problem, why are white predominantly business also hiring and having people come over from Mexico to work for them?
00:37:29.000And the numbers I'm giving you, I have many friends, well, I can't say, but I have friends in the administration who work in the Commerce Department, other places, and they all tell me the same statistics that it is killing African American workers.
00:37:45.000Because I don't want to get them in trouble.
00:37:48.000So, how would they get in trouble competing for the same jobs?
00:37:53.000For example, if an illegal immigrant comes into the country, an illegal immigrant is a good example because they can take a wage that's lower than the minimum wage.
00:38:00.000So, an employer would rather hire an illegal immigrant, say, for example, for $5 an hour, because it's illegal and under the table, versus hiring an African American for $15 an hour.
00:38:17.000Ultimately, it does hurt all low skilled workers, but it tends to be African Americans who predominantly are competing for those same jobs.
00:38:25.000But you also think that the European Americans will be allowed to.
00:39:40.000If they're appropriating it, but my question was if they should have an all white leader piece or whatever, does that mean all the white people everywhere else should take that?
00:44:32.000There's documentation for when people have, you know, their answers to this.
00:44:35.000And so, wouldn't, would, so, because there's a lot of times that things like that happen where they'll say, oh, this is these specific rules, but they're not, they're broken, they're not followed.
00:44:44.000How would you make sure those rules are enforced?
00:44:46.000I don't know, I'm not a governor of like Europe.
00:44:49.000Okay, so why are you saying, why are you giving these ideas out without having a plan?
00:44:53.000I don't have a logistical plan for, you know, every house we're going to go to.
00:44:57.000So, you don't have a logistical idea, is what you're telling me.
00:44:59.000Dude, we don't have a logistical plan.
