In this episode, we talk about the subtle differences between heroes and villains from the world of Avernus, and how they differ from each other in terms of their physical appearance and their soul complex. Ayn Rand's Ayn Amortus is a classic epic poem written in the first century BCE, and is considered to be one of the most famous epic poems in the history of epic poetry.

00:00:00.000 fiction is displaying and you see this a lot in in lore and in um in epic poetry um
00:00:15.360 nobility comes through in physical characteristic as well a person often a hero one of the gods will
00:00:24.240 be particularly bright and particularly gleaming their skin with with bright brilliant hair and
00:00:35.700 um you know piercing blue eyes and a nobleness of bearing of hue and that extends the entire
00:00:46.240 image the entire hammer of that being and villains quite the opposite even if they're
00:00:54.880 white guys they're dark and they're they're brooding and they're they have a darkness
00:01:01.260 about them they have an ashen hue to their skin as opposed to the gleaming skin of asa thor in this
00:01:09.420 They have a different bearing displaying less brilliant, less highly prized, less noble appearance.
00:01:23.300 And as we mentioned in a previous episode, but so folks realize, one of the interesting and unique things about Ausatru is our soul complex.
00:01:40.140 it's not just that there is the body and separate for that from that is your soul
00:01:46.140 within also true your your soul that which makes you you is made up of many different components
00:01:56.620 one of them is the hammer or the visual effect that you project from your being and also one
00:02:04.700 of those is the leak or the physical body your fit literally your physical body that you inhabit
00:02:12.540 and that's reflected too in the art but if you look at the art it's it's clearly you know a white
00:02:20.300 guy he's just not as white as the gleaming white alsa thor but also it was modeled after a particular
00:02:29.420 you know a particular white person as the model of it so it was never conceived of as being
00:02:35.720 um like a human of a different race but more to point out the the darkness and the negativity of
00:02:44.940 that that uh yoten's soul in contrast to the bright noble bravery of us the thor in the picture
00:02:52.040 Thank you.
