00:00:00.000 Many of our heroes died for their trough through the Aesir. I don't find it likely in modern times,
00:00:05.140 but really, shouldn't we hold ourselves to that same standard? Even if it's not death, jail,
00:00:11.580 doxing, losing family, friends, societal shunning, any of that or none of that, maybe
00:00:17.900 nothing bad happens, but really, should we, can we call ourselves also true if we wouldn't be
00:00:24.100 willing to be that hero and make that leap, be that loyal, even through such a sacrifice.
00:00:31.300 Trent?
00:00:32.800 I would say, no, you can't call yourself Alistair if you're not willing to make that
00:00:36.060 sacrifice.
00:00:37.640 And speaking from experience, I have been doxxed.
00:00:40.400 I have lost family.
00:00:41.340 I have lost, hell, excuse my language, my oldest friends just left the AFA because they
00:00:48.100 got bored of it, I guess.
00:00:49.840 Uh, and so, you know, it's, I'm not going to be like, well, you know, my friends got tired of this, so I'm going to be tired of it too and go hang out with them and not be ousted anymore. That would be silly. Uh, no, you can't be ousted true and be willing to give it up for mundane hardships.
00:01:09.840 hardships. Uh, like the old Harry Goethe said, you know, standing by your faith in the ice here
00:01:15.260 doesn't always, you know, build up your savings account, uh, if ever, but it's, it's not about
00:01:23.760 that. It's more than that. It kind of goes back to how I was speaking with that Swedish member
00:01:28.000 about materialism, replacing faith. Uh, what's more important, you know, obviously you need to
00:01:34.460 put food on the table and whatnot. But I don't know, I think, unfortunately, or fortunately,
00:01:42.680 I guess, depending on your outlook, we do live in, it's called the wolf age, right? We live in this
00:01:47.880 age of cowardice, largely. People are cowardly, people can be lazy, and it gives us this opportunity
00:01:57.640 to truly be Alcetru by simply being Alcetru and remaining Alcetru,
00:02:04.400 keeping that loyalty to the Aesir in the face of real hardship, of course,
00:02:10.200 or even silly, fake child's play hardship, you know?
00:02:15.680 It gives us the chance to be those heroes that we read about to a lesser extent. 0.94
00:02:20.940 Nobody's going to force a snake down my throat with a hot poker
00:02:24.660 like Rauld the Strong, of course.
00:02:26.880 But I get to I get the opportunity every day to wear my hammer and my go thought ring and my arm ring and all that and be openly Alcetru and remain Alcetru.
00:02:41.720 So I think if you don't do those things, you need to reevaluate what you're doing or what you're not doing and then call yourself Alcetru.
00:02:52.220 I think a couple of decades earlier, Rob the Strong didn't think anybody would do that either.
