Asatru Folk Assembly - Reconstruction of the Aryan Soul： Sacredness of Time

00:00:00.000 Hi everybody, so thank you for being here. The presentation that I'm going to give today is part of the reconstruction of the Aryan soul. The reconstruction of the Aryan soul is a concept that I have developed over the years to better the self, to deepen the connection with the Ysir, to serve the folk, and to really connect with your ancestors and take yourself literally from the beginnings with asking

00:00:29.980 an emblem as driftwood to form into the branches of idrisil so it's really going from your deepest

00:00:38.420 darkest to the best person that you can be and what i'm talking to you guys today about is part

00:00:45.700 of that process which is the sacredness of time just to kind of recap on what the nine processes

00:00:52.460 are of the reconstruction of the arian soul the first process is going to be the self understanding

00:00:59.040 and knowing of the self. The second one is movement. The third part is the runes. The

00:01:06.560 fourth is breath. The fifth is time. The sixth is the noble virtues. The seventh is the royal

00:01:15.880 virtues. The eighth is the royal mysteries. And the ninth is tying it all together with the soul

00:01:22.960 complex so yes i'm kind of jumping pretty far ahead in the process but i have kept it

00:01:28.560 kind of as simple as i possibly could and cut down as much as i could um in the time that we

00:01:35.680 have allotted here so what i'm going to be doing today is giving you a little bit of the introduction

00:01:40.960 of the sacredness of time and then giving you one of the meditations that is actually in the book

00:01:48.400 So that is my plan for this evening.

00:01:53.960 So today we speak of time, not the time measured by clocks, not the time demanded by schedules, not the deadlines that are set by your boss.

00:02:04.800 But the sacred time woven into the very structure of creation.

00:02:09.300 Time is not a human invention and it's not a burden.

00:02:13.180 It's a holy inheritance, a gift placed in our hands by the gods themselves.

00:02:18.600 Time is not random. It is not chaotic.

00:02:22.580 Time is the architecture of becoming.

00:02:25.760 It is the rhythm by which the worlds grow.

00:02:28.780 It is the pulse by which the gods act.

00:02:31.560 It is the flow by which we live, strive, love, and change.

00:02:36.360 Every dawn is a continuation of the first dawn.

00:02:39.360 Every heartbeat echoes that first spark.

00:02:41.380 every moment we live is a thread in the tapestry that was began by the gods

00:02:47.680 to honor time is to honor the Iser to use our hours with intention is to walk with the rhythm

00:02:55.580 of creation but let's be honest in our age time is also often treated as cheap

00:03:04.160 and when we forget its sacredness we forget something essential about who we are

00:03:11.380 We rush around without presence, we distract ourselves without purpose, we let our hours slip through our fingers like water through an open hand.

00:03:20.240 And this is not a harmless thing, this is not trivial, this is a symptom of our soul sickness.

00:03:26.500 When we misuse our time, we step out of that sacred with the Aesir, we dim that sacred flame within us, and we forget our place in the great unfolding.

00:03:38.680 the cure is not guilt though this is not made to make you feel less than

00:03:45.040 the cure is remembrance to remember that this time is holy to remember that our hours are

00:03:54.060 offerings to remember that our lives and the time that we are given by the norms

00:03:59.220 are woven into the very structure of the cosmos

00:04:02.480 So how do we reclaim the holiness of our hours?

00:04:07.760 We slow down.

00:04:10.180 We breathe with intention.

00:04:13.360 We choose our actions as sacred offerings.

00:04:18.500 We give our time and service to our folk.

00:04:21.940 We honor our commitments.

00:04:24.780 We live with presence instead of haste.

00:04:30.480 And hear me this truth.

00:04:32.480 Giving time is a sacrifice.

00:04:35.960 It's not a sacrifice of suffering.

00:04:38.600 It's a sacrifice of meaning.

00:04:41.060 It is a deliberate offering of your most precious resource.

00:04:46.120 When you give your time, you give a piece of your life that you can never reclaim.

00:04:50.980 You can never get back.

00:04:53.460 And that's why it's sacred.

00:04:55.620 To give time to something is to say, this moment matters.

00:04:59.740 this task matters

00:05:02.900 this person matters

00:05:06.300 this purpose matters

00:05:08.580 and sacred time is not found

00:05:12.120 it's made

00:05:13.280 it's made by the ways that we walk through our day

00:05:17.860 when we rise with purpose

00:05:20.980 we echo the rising sun

00:05:22.400 and when we act with clarity

00:05:25.340 we mirror the turning of the heavens

00:05:28.260 When we live with intention, we align ourselves with the gifts of the Aesir.

00:05:35.640 You are not drifting through meaningless hours.

00:05:39.720 You're walking through a world that was shaped by divine hands.

00:05:43.980 Your time is sacred, and your choices on how you use that time reflect that.

00:05:50.500 You have to walk with purpose and act with courage.

00:05:53.160 and tend that sacred flame

00:05:55.940 with every breath you take.

00:05:59.120 Make your days offerings.

00:06:03.100 May your hours be blessings

00:06:04.380 and your moments be steps in rhythm 0.91

00:06:07.640 with the Iser. 0.98

00:06:09.820 For the Iser gave us time,

00:06:12.880 a gift, 1.00

00:06:14.060 and what we do with it

00:06:15.440 is a gift in return,

00:06:19.020 a continuation of the gift cycle.

00:06:23.160 Remember what Volusbao says about time.

00:06:28.540 It says that it was in the earliest times that Ymir dwelled.

00:06:32.700 Neither sand nor sea nor cold waves nor earth were to be found. 0.63

00:06:37.660 There was neither heaven above nor grass anywhere.

00:06:40.360 There was nothing but Gununagap.

00:06:43.460 Soon burst suns heaved up the earth. 0.64

00:06:45.700 They shaped Midgard.

00:06:47.340 The sun shone from the south on the stones of the stead,

00:06:50.440 and green leaks grew from the ground.

00:06:53.160 From the south, the sun companion of the moon through her right hand across the edge of the world.

00:06:58.460 The sun did not know what hall it had.

00:07:00.440 The stars did not know what stead they had.

00:07:02.820 The moon did not know what main it had.

00:07:05.780 All the gods went to the doom chair.

00:07:07.380 The holy gods mooted over this, and they gave names to night and the new moons.

00:07:12.780 They named midday, midafternoon, and early evening to reckon the years.

00:07:18.380 They created time.

00:07:20.860 they put order to chaos

00:07:24.040 and honoring that gift 0.92

00:07:28.360 aligns us in truth with the Yisir

00:07:32.240 so that is the introduction

00:07:37.740 or at least a small bit of the introduction

00:07:42.220 to the reconstruction of the Aryan soul section 6

00:07:46.080 time as sacred

00:07:47.360 and I do have one of the meditations

00:07:50.860 if you would like to participate in that

00:07:53.560 and I will apologize ahead of time

00:07:56.600 I do not have one of those ASMR voices

00:07:59.620 I do apologize but

00:08:01.760 I'll do the best we can

00:08:03.800 so everybody take a moment, get comfortable

00:08:07.360 find a quiet place

00:08:09.180 and take a few deep breaths

00:08:13.160 in and out

00:08:17.360 close your eyes

00:08:22.200 let your breath deepen

00:08:26.060 let your body soften

00:08:29.840 let the noise of the world fall away

00:08:34.240 like dust shaken from a cloak

00:08:35.900 you're not rushing

00:08:38.800 you're simply arriving

00:08:42.060 feel the weight of your body grounding you

00:08:46.640 feel the slow rhythm of your breath

00:08:50.840 anchoring you

00:08:51.600 and feel that ancient

00:08:54.680 pulse within you

00:08:55.740 the quiet drum

00:08:57.980 that echoes through your entire life

00:09:00.540 with each exhale

00:09:04.520 release the day

00:09:06.940 with each

00:09:10.760 inhale

00:09:11.280 step deeper into the sacred

00:09:14.780 let the modern world around you fade

00:09:19.920 let those walls dissolve

00:09:23.460 let the sky open

00:09:27.040 let everything fall away

00:09:31.520 until only darkness remains

00:09:34.880 breathe deeply

00:09:43.160 and enter that darkness.

00:09:48.860 Not a fearful darkness,

00:09:52.160 but a primordial darkness.

00:09:55.500 A darkness that is older than frost,

00:09:59.860 older than fire.

00:10:04.220 You're standing in Gnu'nagap,

00:10:07.920 the yawning void before all things.

00:10:13.160 in this vast silence

00:10:16.960 there is no before

00:10:18.480 there is no after

00:10:22.440 there is no rhythm

00:10:26.380 no heartbeat

00:10:27.660 no becoming

00:10:28.860 you float in a place

00:10:32.600 without time

00:10:33.660 a place where nothing

00:10:36.600 changes

00:10:37.320 a place where nothing grows

00:10:40.720 breathe in deeply

00:10:44.560 and feel that stillness

00:10:47.800 exhale that breath

00:10:52.740 and feel that weightlessness

00:10:56.000 feel the deep ancient quiet

00:11:01.260 and in this quiet

00:11:06.620 Hear the echoes of the words of Volusbou

00:11:10.740 The sun knew not where she had housing

00:11:15.200 The moon knew not what might he had

00:11:19.200 The stars knew not where stood their places

00:11:24.620 Nothing yet knows its path

00:11:28.880 Nothing yet knows its purpose

00:11:34.480 Nothing yet knows its name

00:11:36.240 This is the world before the gods spoke

00:11:41.360 This is the world before the first dawn

00:11:45.240 This is the world before the first moment

00:11:49.140 Stay here for a few breaths

00:11:53.220 Let the stillness show you

00:11:57.660 What the absence of time feels like

00:12:03.660 Breathe in deeply and absorb

00:12:05.700 exhale slowly and release

00:12:10.580 now in the far reaches of the void you sense a stirring

00:12:17.740 a presence

00:12:20.660 a gathering of will

00:12:23.860 a rising of purpose

00:12:27.280 and three figures emerge from the deep darkness

00:12:32.740 the first Odin

00:12:35.560 far-seeing and fearsome wisdom

00:12:38.680 Vili bright with intention

00:12:42.720 and clarity

00:12:43.640 Vey radiant with sacred fire and form

00:12:48.000 and they stand there at the edge

00:12:52.300 of the endless stillness

00:12:53.720 gazing into the void that has never known movement

00:12:58.000 and you find yourself standing beside them

00:13:02.840 a witness to the moment before moments

00:13:07.240 feel their presence

00:13:11.500 feel their unity

00:13:14.940 feel the power gathering like a storm about to break

00:13:20.180 the brothers lift their eyes to the vast

00:13:24.980 unlit expanse

00:13:26.080 they raise their hands towards the darkness

00:13:30.440 and they begin the work of ordering the cosmos.

00:13:37.580 Far from the reaches of Muspelheim

00:13:39.540 they gather the glowing embers, sparks of primal fire

00:13:42.620 born in the land of flame. 0.99

00:13:46.880 Hear the echoes of the gilfgidding. 0.99

00:13:50.600 They took the glowing embers and sparks that burst forth 0.99

00:13:54.100 and had been cast out of Muspelheim

00:13:56.860 and set them in the midst of the yawning void

00:14:00.300 in the heaven both above and below

00:14:01.980 to illuminate heaven and earth.

00:14:05.940 They assigned places to all fires,

00:14:08.360 some in heaven,

00:14:10.080 and some wandered free under the heavens.

00:14:12.420 Nevertheless, to these also they gave a place

00:14:15.340 and shaped them courses.

00:14:22.300 Watch,

00:14:24.060 as Odenvillian Vague

00:14:25.780 casts the sparks into that newborn sky,

00:14:27.680 each ember becoming a star

00:14:30.780 each star finding its place

00:14:34.960 and each of those wandering fires given a path

00:14:39.360 the sun takes her throne

00:14:44.220 the moon finds his strength

00:14:48.140 the stars settle into their stations

00:14:53.140 and as the heavens begin to turn

00:14:58.720 feel that first rhythm

00:15:02.220 of existence awaken

00:15:05.060 seconds become minutes

00:15:10.480 minutes become hours

00:15:14.740 hours become days

00:15:18.460 days become weeks

00:15:21.000 Weeks become months

00:15:23.760 Months become seasons

00:15:25.600 Seasons become years

00:15:27.460 The world begins to breathe

00:15:31.600 And that great wheel of cyclical time begins to turn

00:15:36.960 And time unfolds like a long-awaited dawn

00:15:41.480 Inhale with that rising light

00:15:46.440 Exhale with the falling dusk

00:15:51.000 and let your breath follow the rhythm of creation.

00:15:58.620 Breathe deeply,

00:16:00.480 and let that vision settle into your bones.

00:16:06.800 You have witnessed that birth of time.

00:16:10.840 You have stood beside Odenvillian Bay.

00:16:14.060 You have watched the first fires placed in the heavens,

00:16:17.480 and you have seen the cosmos illuminated by divine hands.

00:16:23.840 And understand this truth.

00:16:27.860 Time is sacred.

00:16:31.360 Time is divine. 0.58

00:16:34.820 Time is a gift that is placed in your hands by the Aesir.

00:16:39.820 Every hour you live is part of the God's first act.

00:16:42.880 every choice you make

00:16:46.080 becomes a stroke in the great design

00:16:48.340 every moment you honor

00:16:52.000 is yet another spark that builds the folk flame

00:16:55.340 you journey through divine creation

00:17:00.800 slowly now let that vision fade

00:17:07.760 let the great gods step back

00:17:13.380 into that mist and let the

00:17:15.240 first dawn dissolve into the darkness

00:17:17.400 behind your eyes

00:17:18.280 feel your breath again

00:17:22.720 feel your body again

00:17:27.160 feel the world around you

00:17:31.100 and as you return carry this truth with you

00:17:35.580 you have seen the creation of time

00:17:39.700 and you understand its sacredness

00:17:41.400 and you walk now

00:17:43.720 with the rhythm of the gods

00:17:44.920 open your eyes when you're ready

00:17:49.700 step back

00:17:51.720 into this world

00:17:52.400 and step back into this world

00:17:55.680 as a keeper

00:17:57.600 of that sacred time

00:18:05.580 Take a few breaths.

00:18:11.720 If you were able to participate in the meditation,

00:18:14.500 I do recommend that you do journal about that,

00:18:18.280 what you saw, what you encountered,

00:18:22.040 the constellations that you've seen,

00:18:24.740 how it made you feel.

00:18:29.620 Journal to yourself about

00:18:31.820 how you make your time sacred.

00:18:35.580 and be honest with yourself about how you waste it how you let it slip away

00:18:43.200 and those things will help you understand how sacred time can be

00:18:48.880 and that is a very brief introduction into the sacredness of time there is much more to it than

00:19:00.300 that but i did not want to take the next three weeks of your time explaining that to you but

00:19:04.420 i hope uh i hope it helps what's that if you could we'd love that we did have a couple people

00:19:14.840 joined right in the middle of the meditation which i'm sure was kind of probably rather

00:19:18.780 very awkward for them not knowing what's going on um and i know you can't really repeat everything

00:19:26.700 you just said and the record this is recorded so it will be up like as soon as we're done i'll get

00:19:32.180 it up on and and you guys can watch the entire thing to know what the heck started this and then

00:19:37.860 the whole meditation from the beginning but like you got like a sentence or two of a recap i guess

00:19:45.480 maybe yes so time itself is one of the sacred gifts that were given to us by the icer um the

00:19:54.520 very first part of the introduction to the reconstruction of the arian soul is recognizing

00:19:59.920 gifts. We were gifted many times by the gods. We were gifted first and foremost with the creation

00:20:08.860 of Midgard, right? We were gifted with the creation of time. We were gifted by Odin,

00:20:16.080 Vili, and Vey with our sense and our divine spark and our thoughts and goodly hue.

00:20:22.760 we were also gifted three times by rig first when he visited a great-grandfather and great-grandmother

00:20:31.480 then when he visited grandfather and grandmother and again when he visited mother and father

00:20:35.520 we were gifted the runes through the sacrifice of odin of himself to himself on the branches of

00:20:44.680 And you were also gifted your noble bloodline by your ancestors, to which you hold responsibility to gift to future generations.

00:20:56.500 A big part of the introduction to this is understanding the importance of those gifts, understanding that everything you do with the gifts you were given can be seen as a gift in return for that.

00:21:12.540 serve your folk

00:21:15.060 worship your gods 0.99

00:21:16.720 right

00:21:18.340 and again time is sacred

00:21:21.600 gift your time

00:21:23.800 in worship

00:21:24.320 gift your time in service

00:21:26.840 gift your time in honoring of your

00:21:29.560 ancestors and making that

00:21:31.520 family line and the orlock that follows

00:21:33.440 that family line

00:21:34.640 clearer and stronger

00:21:36.520 very brief summary but there you go

00:21:41.720 you know i got any questions for the for the wonderful miss ma'am

00:21:50.240 i know it's a really really deep concept and this is like literally uh three pages of over 75 pages

00:22:05.380 of you know workbooks journaling references to lore uh recommendations meditations so

00:22:14.800 i know it's a lot um this is kind of just the tip of the iceberg but it's something that i

00:22:20.080 wanted to introduce you guys to so how can people pull the rest out of you um i'm currently got the

00:22:29.920 workbook in process once that workbook is complete give me a little bit of time because i'm literally

00:22:35.100 going through 20 years worth of notes and study once that workbook is complete and probably before

00:22:41.660 the workbook is complete we are going to do um calls and classes where we can introduce the

00:22:47.340 material to you um give you the give you the homework so to speak or the personal evaluations

00:22:57.740 But I will say that it is work, and it is not for the faint of heart. There is a lot of self-understanding, evaluation, analyzing. A big part of the reconstruction of the Aryan soul is taking responsibility for the self.

00:23:17.200 very much a a concept of victor not victim uh learning to deal with your trauma learning to 0.65

00:23:25.580 move past your trauma and learning to not use your trauma to perpetuate the cycle of victimhood

00:23:32.240 what happened to you happened to you how you continue to respond it today to it today is

00:23:38.200 entirely up to you um same with past mistakes same with things you wish hadn't happened but

00:23:43.840 But also the same with your triumphs and your success and all of the good things in your life as well.

00:23:49.560 We often dwell on the horrible, traumatizing, embarrassing things that have happened to us and we don't give enough credit to our successes.

00:23:58.620 So that's a big part of it as well is, you know, moving past the things that hold us back and holding on to the things that we've done well in order to transcend and be better.

00:24:10.280 and why do i get the feeling that part of this even under the covers maybe overtly is woven

00:24:19.400 into your daily as a true me we group that everybody should be on it absolutely is so

00:24:25.760 the daily as a true group um for those that are on the daily as a true group that is literally my

00:24:31.840 personal spiritual daily practice 365 days of the year so if you're interested in what agithya does

00:24:41.600 spiritually every single day i do have that broken down it is one post a day um there is more that i

00:24:48.760 do on top of that but that is kind of a a primer on how to establish a daily practice of worship

00:24:57.580 and devotion while learning the lore some of the things that we do have are workbooks um

00:25:05.740 learning from me is not for the weak i will tell you that because if you ask me a question

00:25:10.780 i will absolutely ask you five more to get you to come up with your own answer because when it

00:25:17.100 comes to spiritual education and knowledge it's very very important that you internalize

00:25:21.900 that information so that it makes sense for you the answer that i have now for that question

00:25:29.300 may not resonate with you at this point in your journey to as a true okay everybody evolves and

00:25:38.320 understands at a different pace at a different level um we are not all on the same steps of

00:25:46.340 this journey so it's very important that when you come to me with what does this mean that i don't

00:25:53.100 necessarily tell you what i think it means but that i help you discover what you are meant to

00:26:01.740 learn from it at this time because those answers will change now the thing with daily as a true is

00:26:07.780 it is 365 days a year and while it might seem monotonous i do that same schedule every single

00:26:19.020 year because through the years i have advanced i have gained more knowledge and the things that i

00:26:28.280 find out may be different than last year and i've kept records of that for a couple decades now and

00:26:35.240 I've watched myself progress from, you know, a 20-year-old dumpster fire, to be honest, to who you guys know me as today.

00:26:51.900 And watching that spiritual progression is something that's very, very important and something that I highly recommend anyone who is new to the path do,

00:26:59.900 is to document what you think and how you feel

00:27:04.040 and what your current understanding is

00:27:05.660 so that you can go back and see that evolution of spirituality.

00:27:10.860 So while it may be something that's repetitive,

00:27:13.580 it is something that will be new for you each and every year,

00:27:16.640 especially with things like the rune studies

00:27:19.420 or the rune understandings, the rune journaling,

00:27:22.920 the royal virtues and the noble virtues.

00:27:25.480 As you progress in your spirituality, those things will change

00:27:28.140 and you'll be able to relate to them a little bit differently every year um as well as the

00:27:34.240 Havamala's mantra um the Havamala's mantra is meant to see where you're at today and how you

00:27:43.480 can use that information today and next year when you do it you might have a deeper understanding

00:27:48.900 you might have a different understanding you might see something different I'm a very big

00:27:54.000 advocate of read the lore every year because you will find something new every time you do it

00:28:00.880 because you will evolve and change and with that so will your spirituality

00:28:04.780 you opened up a rabbit hole mr rice i know and now i'm laughing because the wonderful miss

00:28:14.280 rachel joined the call right as you were calling yourself a dumpster fire and my brain thought

00:28:18.720 she's my favorite dumpster fire i am i i mean you guys know me as you know

00:28:29.440 whit and brandy or specular brandy right we all evolve we all change we all have been young naive 1.00

00:28:37.300 and stupid in our lives and if you are still young naive and stupid it's okay that is part of 1.00

00:28:46.080 adulting and learning to adult, but it is also part of spiritual evolution. 1.00

00:28:53.940 Nobody starts out as transcended. Okay, let's just be honest. There's a lot of work that has

00:29:02.100 to go into that. And a lot of the work that comes with spiritual understanding is understanding of

00:29:09.480 the self and understanding what it is that you have to either heal or leave behind or

00:29:18.240 change in order to get that next nugget or that next level or that deeper understanding.

00:29:25.680 Because when we live in victimhood, when we live in trauma, when we live in regret, you

00:29:36.840 are literally holding yourself back.

00:29:39.480 because that's your focus. You are focused on your misery when you can learn to move past those

00:29:46.120 things and put them down. Or in some of our cases, you have to learn to take responsibility for what

00:29:53.080 you've done that opens up those doors to understand a lot more things spiritually

00:30:00.260 because there's a lot more clarity. So that's kind of the point of the reconstruction of the

00:30:05.060 Aryan soul, is to understand the self, understand what your blockages are, and put them down. 0.90

00:30:15.360 So for those of you curious, brave, maybe crazy enough to want more of that, 0.76

00:30:24.120 we'll repost the Daily Ossetru link in the Spiritual Excellence, so you can ask to get

00:30:29.800 that group of anybody listening afterwards perchance um get on mewi so we can get you in

00:30:39.320 those groups talk to your folk builder um and maybe you can learn things because miss facet is awesome

00:30:50.680 and then that is what we have y'all all righty thank you so much with uh speckinger i appreciate
