00:00:00.000 welcome everybody to bankers podcast we are back with um a friend of mine he uh you might know him
00:00:07.600 he was recently driving a cyber truck from denver to las vegas at least the cyber at least we now
00:00:17.460 know that the cyber trucks like the autonomous it's pretty pretty impressive what they can do
00:00:24.580 they can autonomously carry out terror attacks which is
00:00:29.940 that's what i like that's what i like but i'm in austin texas and it's crazy that
00:00:37.400 it feels like canada is following me to austin texas because
00:00:42.620 tim hortons is now in austin texas folks so if you're canadian you live in austin texas
00:00:51.100 now you can feel right at home and finally get served by white people out of tim hortons which 0.65
00:00:58.280 is it's a little different than in canada and canadian coffee chain tim hortons will open its
00:01:02.820 first austin area location in round rock tomorrow we'll have to see what this is all about the first
00:01:07.920 50 cars in line at the new location of rm620 will win free coffee for a year i'm there tim hortons
00:01:16.880 is hosting the brown rock high school choir tomorrow to celebrate the grand opening they'll
00:01:21.940 be caroling from noon to one so wait a second that's canada really people really think canada
00:01:29.920 is like a white country where they're like we're gonna do caroling for the tim hortons opening but
00:01:34.500 in canada it's just indian people are like what do you want do you want double double you want 0.97
00:01:38.060 it's crazy nobody says double double here that's a canadian thing for sure well double double here
00:01:44.980 is in and out in and out what's that what's a double double i didn't know it's got two beef patties
00:01:49.740 two cheeses two beef patties two cheeses yeah and then like lettuce tomatoes pickles onion
00:01:55.000 but like yeah if you go double double here like most people would think in and out what if you go
00:02:02.160 to mcdonald's and you order coffee oh because double double is two cream two sugar that's what
00:02:10.120 it means in canada yeah i i don't know if starbucks would understand i've tried using secret menu items 0.99
00:02:17.820 at other places just to see like hey you know what i mean oh my eyes fucking pissing me off damn it 0.98
00:02:25.080 yeah i i'm okay with tim hortons coming here i'm okay with canada becoming the 51st state 0.98
00:02:32.340 do it i love it i think one of the benefits of canada becoming the 51st state
00:02:39.020 um one of the benefits of canada becoming the 51st state would be the cigarettes
00:02:45.260 in canada are much better than american cigarettes they would now be able to sell them into the united
00:02:50.980 states and because you have laws where you can show the packaging of cigarettes
00:02:56.020 we can get all the packaging back the demorier packaging the belmont packaging
00:03:01.300 because right now the packaging for cigarettes in canada is just like a dead baby basically
00:03:07.300 yeah yeah i saw that downstairs it's uh
00:03:10.020 it's not it's not great it's not ideal so what's going on here the fbi is looking into why
00:03:20.480 new orleans attacker jabber visited egypt and ontario in 2023 so see this is the thing you get
00:03:28.760 first you get tim hortons coming to america and now you get terrorists yeah coming from canada
00:03:37.040 and new orleans is six hours from here so that's close by and this guy was in ontario very luck
00:03:42.640 likely that he got a tim hortons within 48 hours of committing this crime or you would hope so
00:03:50.060 we have also tracked that jabbar traveled to cairo egypt from june 22nd until july 3rd 2023
00:04:00.340 a few days later he flew to ontario canada on july 10th back to back and returned to the u.s
00:04:09.840 on july 13th on 2023 our agents are getting answers as to where he went who he met with
00:04:19.620 and how those trips may or may not tie into his actions here in our city in new orleans
00:04:25.160 wild every bad thing or good thing happening in america is somehow coming from canada
00:04:34.120 it's so weird it's like we're sending our cult like you know comics are coming i'm coming
00:04:40.300 and then tim hortons is coming here and then trump wants the whole country to just be a part of it
00:04:47.940 yeah oh here speaking of that this is trump visiting with canadian royalty kevin o'leary
00:04:59.500 i don't know if you know kevin o'leary no no i don't he's the guy who he he invented shark tank he's
00:05:05.380 on shark tank oh that guy yeah because it was originally a canadian show called dragon's dead
00:05:12.340 i'm pretty sure or or i forget wait let's i don't want to was shark tank originally canadian
00:05:23.620 shark tank is a format format that originated in japan
00:05:28.780 um dragon's den yeah was the canadian okay spin-off but did was shark was kevin o'leary kevin o
00:05:38.420 kevin o'leary shark tank or was he just under shark tank dragon's den sounds so much lamer
00:05:50.180 everything can is so much lamer uh yeah i think you you recognize this guy from shark tank yeah yeah
00:05:57.680 okay this guy so this guy is on shark tank but now he's basically becoming the new ambassador to 0.95
00:06:04.140 america for canada like de facto because yeah like he's just meeting with fucking trump here 0.92
00:06:12.220 i think they should do politics in the form of shark tank like here's what we want to do 0.95
00:06:17.420 here wait like what do you mean well like like the you know the shark tank panel sits around and
00:06:23.340 then you go over like the bills in congress or it's kind of what they do
00:06:27.300 this is okay this is a really good representation of of canada for you to
00:06:34.380 i don't know what he said i thought it would be translated actually but uh
00:06:49.060 does anybody even know what this guy's saying this is my buddy pleb he's like indian scammer 1.00
00:06:55.200 teaches other newcomers how to scam canada by filing fraudulent bankrupt bankruptcies and then 0.93
00:06:59.620 leaving the country
00:07:00.440 i think it translated i know no that's okay call us for financial support
00:07:11.240 oh no i was talking about black twitter how black twitter is just kind of better because all they do 1.00
00:07:19.640 they just say stuff like this first of all they can any tweet with the n-word in it is gonna be
00:07:24.660 yeah yeah fun to look at jimmy neutron looking guy yeah popping out what's some good clubs to go to an 0.99
00:07:32.320 nyc is that a read do you think that's really his head holy shit dude 0.98
00:07:38.300 what was that nyc shit you were telling me about oh the congestion pricing yeah yeah they've like set up 0.99
00:07:46.940 cameras all over the city the request to delay congestion pricing came from leaders in new jersey 0.99
00:07:53.040 and despite the setback it appears they're not giving up the fight sharon crowley live in newark
00:07:57.700 with more on the ruling and where we go from here sharon yes we just got that ruling from a judge
00:08:03.900 on a friday night as we were talking about before at 8 30 after about four hours of deliberation
00:08:09.240 it is a victory for supporters of congestion pricing that nine dollar toll below 60th street
00:08:16.740 in manhattan during peak hours will go forward as of tonight starting on sunday now uh new jersey did
00:08:24.960 try to block it by suing the mta on the grounds that the air quality studies were not comprehensive
00:08:32.240 enough they had hoped to have a pause uh for more studies more information about the environment
00:08:38.840 before they started that new toll but a judge here in newark tonight after i said four hours of
00:08:44.680 deliberations ruled about 8 30 that that congestion pricing would not be stopped or paused now first
00:08:51.900 you're going to hear from the lawyer uh for the state of new jersey who filed the suit against the mta
00:08:58.240 and right after that you're going to hear from a lawyer who represented supporters of congestion pricing
00:09:03.740 i don't know what the supporters have to say i respectfully disagree with today's decision
00:09:08.520 um we feel the decision reflected the importance of mitigation for new jersey communities that are
00:09:17.740 going to be uh significantly adversely affected by congestion pricing
00:09:24.240 is it because everybody who can't afford new york lives in new jersey and then they have to drive to new
00:09:31.400 new york and now they're going to get taxed for that basically yeah yeah it's their way of getting money
00:09:36.200 for them and then this video said it was because of like air quality control studies
00:09:40.700 it's kind of smart though it's kind of smart to just tax like they're like oh you don't want to live here
00:09:46.640 because it's because you think it's cheaper over there now we're going to make it the same price
00:09:51.380 oh yeah yeah if we're just taking like all the like just pure strategy yeah like leaving all the
00:09:57.380 morals out of it yeah excellent excellent maneuver just force families into living in a one-bedroom
00:10:05.180 apartment in manhattan yeah because we can't afford to drive i mean it also is like all the people
00:10:11.460 driving from connecticut and from new jersey to do uber yeah i mean that's kind of like get the fuck out 0.55
00:10:19.300 yeah i mean the you know one of the major airports was jfk that's in new jersey and then you have to
00:10:24.460 travel from there into the city i think jfk is in new york yeah jfk is your what was the other ewr
00:10:29.220 yeah um newark one of the worst airports to fly into usually because apparently they have a staffing
00:10:37.960 or when i was there last time staffing shortage i was at a four-hour delay it was brutal there's
00:10:44.040 staffing shortages everywhere man yeah i'm like i'm hoping ai can replace some of these jobs that 0.85
00:10:49.280 just nobody's working just replace all the black people at the airport 1.00
