Transcript

00:00:00.000 story is so important. And it's it's sort of one of those front burner stories like the
00:00:05.900 Pennsylvania story of Mastriano, like the Georgia, you know, Trumpists who were threatening for a
00:00:11.880 while, Raffensperger and Kemp. I mean, talk about how difficult it is in some ways to cover this
00:00:17.800 the statewide efforts to install Trump loyalists and anti-democratic politicians.
00:00:24.740 Yeah, and I think that there are two things that is kind of hard for people to wrap our
00:00:27.380 head around. And you hit it at the end of that intro. The first is the secretary of state's
00:00:30.760 offices. You know, these are not campaigns that usually would have gotten any national attention
00:00:34.940 at all. I was back in my home state, Colorado, is interviewing the current secretary of state
00:00:38.820 there, Jenna Griswold, who's running against, you know, our potential Republican opponent
00:00:43.440 that was literally what was had wanted to break into the voting machines to give some of the
00:00:49.780 information to QAnon. I mean, like this is like these types of people should be in a rubber room
00:00:53.940 and now they're running to oversee elections. And in a wave year, you know, they could get pushed
00:00:59.700 in, you know, this Fincham in Arizona. And I'm sure we'll talk about the secretary of states and
00:01:03.840 other states. So that's one thing. It's just hard to wrap your head around that, that these people
00:01:07.920 could be running elections in key states in 2024. The second thing I think is really important,
00:01:12.860 and Arizona is a great example of this, is just how far the Overton window has moved. You know,
00:01:17.480 if you look at the governor and Senate races at the top of the ticket, you just did Carrie
00:01:22.320 Lake, you know, and this is a person that is going on Steve Bannon's podcast, won't call
00:01:26.480 president legitimate, you know, is just far out in conspiracy land. And it's all phony,
00:01:30.780 by the way. Equally phony is that leading Senate candidate, Blake Masters. He's a Peter Thiel
00:01:36.080 acolyte, you know, said we shouldn't do anything in Ukraine. Also a stop the stealer. Okay, we
00:01:41.540 know they're crazy. But even if they were to get defeated by the people on supposedly Team
00:01:45.900 Normal, Karen Robeson, and I'm sure Vaughn can get into this, the other, the Pence endorsed
00:01:51.080 Arizona candidate for governor against Carrie Lake. She won't say, she still thinks that
00:01:55.600 there was some funny business in the election. The Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who is the
00:02:00.160 other main Senate candidate, he put out a report in the Attorney General's office that was full
00:02:04.560 of false innuendo and misrepresentations about the election. But Trump endorsed the other guy
00:02:10.040 because he just wouldn't go whole hog and helping him steal it, right? So he's speaking Trump's
00:02:15.320 talking points, but he just wouldn't go full coup. And so Trump is now endorsing somebody else,
00:02:20.120 Blake Masters, who he thinks will go full coup next time. And I think that is the really important
00:02:24.880 thing when looking at these. And there are the extreme crazy conspiracists, but even the folks
00:02:30.040 the next step over, it would have been unimaginable that they would have been going, that the quote
00:02:35.260 unquote establishment normal Republican politicians, you know, five, 10, 20 years ago would have been
00:02:40.160 going along with a scheme such as this to overturn our democracy.
00:02:43.960 Okay, welcome. It's Monday, 1 August, the year of Elora 2022. We've got a packed show.
00:02:49.520 Marina Devine, the lead columnist, the reported columnist, does a reported column in the New
00:02:55.300 York Post, going to be here about the Hunter Biden, the FBI, the Schlapp's going to be here
00:02:58.780 talking about this massive super Tuesday we have tomorrow. Also CPAC rolls out this week,
00:03:06.280 CPAC, Texas. Chris Kobach, this huge vote in Kansas about the Constitution there, adding
00:03:14.740 to the Constitution about abortion rights, about the pro-life agenda. Also his attorney
00:03:19.740 general role, Frank Gaffney on Nancy Pelosi. And Ty Juan flying in, the CCP's not happy.
00:03:27.060 Doesn't look like either party's going to back off. Of course, we're going to try to get to
00:03:30.840 Eli Crane. If not, he'll be in the six o'clock hour. Six o'clock hour, absolutely packed,
00:03:34.600 wall-to-wall battleground today with candidates. And plus Jack Posobiec, who had a throwdown
00:03:40.880 in a group hug with Jon Stewart today. So we'll get to all that. I want to start with
00:03:44.460 Boris Epstein. Boris, MSNBC is now 24-7. Arizona, Arizona, Arizona. I mean, they're talking about
00:03:50.340 the rest. They're talking about Washington. They're talking about Michigan. They're all
00:03:54.880 over Missouri. Obviously, everybody's on tenterhooks with Missouri, given what President Trump put
00:03:59.400 out earlier, his truth social post. But let's go to Arizona right now.
00:04:04.300 Your assessment of what... Steve, there was a truth social post? I don't know what you mean.
00:04:10.940 Exactly, exactly. Just a small neutron bomb over the...
00:04:16.300 The truth social post that literally blew up the whole political universe.
00:04:20.700 Blew up the universe.
00:04:22.040 Sir, can I just for two seconds on that, Steve, because it's important.
00:04:25.780 Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, people of all ages, okay, welcome to the greatest political
00:04:35.400 show in American history. And that is the first, now second, and hopefully upcoming, as we hope and
00:04:42.960 expect, third term of President Donald J. Trump. Has there ever been a political figure in history
00:04:47.620 who could send a, what, 15-word-er? And then literally everybody is hanging on every word.
00:04:56.260 Libs, radicals, drag queens, okay, let alone, of course, MAGA and MAGA and conservatives.
00:05:03.900 And we've never seen anything like it. And you know what? It's amazing, and I'm here for all
00:05:07.260 of it. That is the MAGA movement. That's why we're ascended. That's why we're winning,
00:05:11.060 because our leader dominates the world and continues to swim laps for free in the heads
00:05:17.240 of mainstream media.
00:05:19.920 Very big. Tell people, I've got it up on my getter right away, but talk to people about
00:05:25.100 what that truth social post is before we talk about Arizona.
00:05:28.460 President Trump around 11 o'clock, 10.30 Eastern today, put on truth social that he was going
00:05:33.580 to be making an endorsement today in the Missouri U.S. Senate primary. So as we say,
00:05:39.480 as we say, we'll see what happens. It's all, it's 5.05.
00:05:45.060 Yeah, a very big development out of Missouri. Let's go to Arizona. Why is MSNBC, they're full
00:05:51.460 on, and by the way, they spent, you know, the first half of that show going through the War
00:05:56.380 Room's playlist, right? Abe Hamaday, Fincham, Blake, but they spend most of their bio on Cary
00:06:04.820 Lake. What's your assessment, sir?
00:06:06.100 By the way, what's, Tim Miller, you know, with the shells, whatever you call that thing,
00:06:10.660 the necklace, what's his, oh, Cary Lake, she goes on Steve Bannon's podcast. He's the
00:06:17.940 guy that's trying to sell his pathetic little book with one story about his interactions
00:06:22.240 with you. That's all he's got. That's, you know, so somehow Cary Lake is bad for going
00:06:27.340 on the most powerful outlet in American political media history, which is the War Room and the
00:06:34.900 War Room posse. But it's okay for Tim Miller with the pukas to go be talking about it,
00:06:39.860 you know, with his little gossip in his book. Sensing a little hypocrisy. Here's what's
00:06:45.120 going on. Arizona is the tip of the spear of MAGA. Arizona is where we know for a fact
00:06:52.740 from the Maricopa audit, from information on Pima County, Pinal County, Cochise County, so
00:06:57.160 on and so forth. It was stolen. It was rigged and stolen, just like it was in Georgia, Pennsylvania,
00:07:02.220 Nevada, Wisconsin, Michigan, so on and so forth. Arizona has been white hot since, hey, I went
00:07:08.140 out there literally within 24 hours, maybe 27 hours of the end of election night, early
00:07:14.680 morning, 3 November, 4 November 2020. And I will tell you, it's been white hot ever since.
00:07:20.100 Arizona has only gotten more MAGA. And the reason they're so upset about it is because Arizona
00:07:24.200 is the perfect test case of a state that went from being MAGA and absolutely all in for President
00:07:30.260 Donald J. Trump, and yes, going for the president in 2020, to now being that on steroids. Now it's
00:07:37.400 the tip of the spear of MAGA because they messed with us in Arizona, okay? And Arizona is my sort
00:07:42.080 of second home state of state. I absolutely love the Grand Canyon state. It is on fire. And the candidates
00:07:47.140 are tough. And guess what? Okay, Mike Pence came in for Karen Robeson. And of course, we won't celebrate
00:07:52.860 until tomorrow, but it looks like Politico was right. It's varsity versus freshman or JV when
00:07:57.500 President Trump versus Mike Pence or any of these other people who are thinking of running for
00:08:02.620 president in 2024, which is absolute and total nonsense. MAGA has ascended across the country.
00:08:08.640 MAGA has ascended in Arizona. And that is why MSNBC and Nicole Wallace and Tim Miller and everyone
00:08:17.320 else are completely melting down. Not seeing much of Rachel Maddow lately. I wonder what's going on there.
00:08:21.940 That's why she won a timer. How can somebody survive, though, $18 million in a Republican primary
00:08:29.180 in a state where TV time, yeah, you got the Phoenix market, but $18 million, that does not include, as
00:08:35.240 Carrie Lake told us this morning, does not include the outside groups that came in. She thinks the number
00:08:40.900 is 26. And I talked to somebody very dialed in. They said, no, the number when it concludes will be
00:08:46.720 $30 million. How does that work? And how can possibly these MAGA candidates survive that type
00:08:53.680 of onslaught? I mean, Carrie did a good job to raise money. It was $3.5 million. How do you even
00:08:59.020 survive that?
00:08:59.380 It's not all about the money. It's not all about the money. And we proved that in 2016, Steve, right?
00:09:03.880 President Trump won the 2016 race being outspent at least three to one, if not four to one,
00:09:08.540 counting outside money. We are in a new world now, right? This isn't 2010. This isn't Karl
00:09:13.520 Rove and the soccer moms and all that nonsense. We're in a new world. And in this new world where
00:09:18.500 we are, it is all about authenticity. It's all about earned media. It's about going on War Room.
00:09:23.960 It's about coming in hot on social media. And it's about being real. And people know that,
00:09:29.620 you know, Karen Robeson and, you know, her husband with the money and all that. And I'm not going to tell
00:09:34.180 the story of the book party right now. That's for some other point, okay? But the, you know,
00:09:40.060 the issue here is that if the people of Arizona, the Grand Canyon State, the people of America,
00:09:46.040 when they see somebody authentic, it doesn't matter how much money is spent against them.
00:09:49.400 They're going to win their race and they're going to vote for the MAGA candidate.
00:09:56.380 You know, the one thing they're most concerned about here on MSNBC is that they're saying even
00:10:01.040 ropes and nobody will say Biden's legitimate, that we have shifted the overwind of what we said
00:10:06.260 we're going to do here on January 20th. We killed him in the crib. We said that he's illegitimate
00:10:09.640 and we're going to put forth evidence day in and day out in the American people. Now, people,
00:10:14.480 this is one of the reasons the foreign leaders don't, the foreign leaders know this is why the
00:10:17.600 Saudis have no respect for him. It's why the CCP has no respect for him. He's definitely illegitimate.
00:10:23.140 There's not a question about that. Not even a question about it. And now you've got, you know,
00:10:27.920 50% of the American people. Isn't that what really MSNBC's most concerned about is that we have taken
00:10:33.440 their big, their big steel, right? And we've turned it back on them.
00:10:43.880 Did we, did we lose Boris? Did it freeze up? Okay. That's okay. Okay. Let's try it. Let's try
00:10:49.620 to reboot it. Boris Epstein. Here's what's happening. We've got a wall-to-wall media coverage.
00:10:54.560 The Guardian, as I said today, the Guardian newspaper, which is the leader of the progressive
00:10:58.880 left kind of intelligentsia throughout the world. The Guardian did two, two front page stories on the
00:11:05.740 Arizona race, focusing on, you know, Carrie Lake. Mark Fincham talked about the Trump forces there.
00:11:13.800 We can continue to say, remember, I always say that this is the railhead is the railhead of the Trump
00:11:19.780 movement. The hardest core of the MAGA folks are out there and they're doing terrifically.
00:11:24.740 Tonight, a big rally for Carrie Lake. She talks about tonight, there's going to be a big rally for
00:11:29.620 her in Phoenix. What does it say? Go to Carrie Lake. We'll put it up on the chiroid. Go to Carrie
00:11:34.500 Lake. Find out how you participate. Then tomorrow is game day. All eyes are on Arizona because this
00:11:40.720 has been the railhead from day one. This has been the railhead from, okay, Boris is back. Okay,
00:11:46.160 let's try Boris again. We just dropped you there for a second, Boris. You got to get it at your,
00:11:49.440 one of your many vacation homes. You got to get a better upgrade. You got to upgrade on upgrade on
00:11:54.580 your Wi-Fi. I just can't afford it. Yeah, no offense. So tell us, summarize why Arizona,
00:12:03.820 I'm doing a special tomorrow night at six, just about this topic. Why Arizona is so essential to
00:12:09.400 the Trump movement, to MAGA, why the left is all over it and why these races are so important
00:12:14.760 tomorrow night. Because when Fox News wrongfully called Arizona for Joe Biden on 3 November,
00:12:21.100 2020, and they'd started the domino effect of the, of the steel and the rigging of the 2020 election,
00:12:27.880 that's where it started. Remember, walking into that call by, by, by wrongful call, terrible call
00:12:32.980 by Fox News, President Trump had already won Ohio, had already won Florida. And what was the last time
00:12:37.840 a candidate won, a presidential candidate won both of those states and did not win the election? I think
00:12:42.720 of at least a hundred years, Steve, correct me if I'm wrong. That's, it's pretty much unprecedented
00:12:47.260 in modern times. So Arizona was the beginning of where they executed their plan to steal this
00:12:54.880 election. But Arizona is also where we fought back. The Maricopa County audit, the, the, the,
00:13:00.640 the penal information, the, the movement all across the grandion states to spit on the floor and say,
00:13:06.980 you know, we're not going to take it. And that's why you've seen these MAGA candidates be ascendant.
00:13:10.960 And as I said, Steve, when, you know, the deep state tried to drop me off the show,
00:13:15.120 it's not about the money. It's not about the money. These, you know, the establishment folks,
00:13:18.940 the, the, you know, the wealth, the, the wealthy donor class, they could put in hundreds of millions
00:13:23.500 of dollars, but that's not what matters. What matters is authenticity. What matters is real MAGA.
00:13:28.180 What matters is standing with president Trump and calling it like it is. And exactly the opposite of
00:13:33.500 what MSNBC is saying by saying out loud, by being clear that this election in 2020 was rigged
00:13:38.980 and stolen, that we'll never accept that to happen again is how we continue to win, how we win in the
00:13:45.680 primaries and how we're going to win in the general, because at least two thirds of the country is now
00:13:51.060 with MAGA and in Arizona, I bet you that fraction is even more. And Steve, both you, you and I know a
00:13:56.200 lot of people who know some people in the beautiful state of Arizona. Arizona is more MAGA than ever
00:14:01.800 because it took the hit of the stolen rigged election and it's punched back. But okay. And
00:14:07.920 by the way, we're going to decertify those Biden electors. Just stand by. Boris, real quickly,
00:14:12.340 what's your, what's your social media? So people can follow you tonight. Big announcement coming
00:14:15.560 in Missouri, not in yet. People want to follow you on social media. How do they do it?
00:14:20.460 Steve, BorisCP.com's website, hot on BorisCP.com. Hot on getter at BorisCP on Twitter at BorisCP. Hot
00:14:26.360 on truth social at Boris. And of course, hottest on the grand Boris underscore Epstein. Stay
00:14:30.320 strong. God bless. And I'll talk to you tomorrow when we have huge MAGA wins.
00:14:35.300 President Trump has announced he's going to endorse sometime this afternoon or this evening
00:14:39.780 in Missouri. We'll be covering it at Nine Stop Live. Short commercial break.
00:14:44.040 They're revered columnists for the New York Post. Miranda Devine about the FBI and the laptop
00:14:50.180 from hell. Next in the war room.
00:14:52.860 We will fight till they're all gone. We rejoice when there's no more. Let's take down the T.C.
00:14:59.040 You know what's never good? When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely
00:15:05.880 misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation. Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
00:15:12.080 has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy
00:15:17.280 that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly
00:15:22.780 that I didn't at the time fully understand. End quote. You know who understands the real threat of
00:15:30.620 inflation? People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group. They're protecting their savings

00:17:17.220 know, either go play golf or go to church or, you know, hang with the family, go fishing, go out in
00:17:23.000 the wilderness, do what one does on a Sunday morning. The one thing you don't want to do is pick up your
00:17:28.040 New York Post and see Miranda Devine, who's an absolute killer, the revered columnist for the
00:17:34.860 New York Post. And the headline says, FBI and Director Christopher Wray are in for a rude wake-up
00:17:41.380 call over the Hunter Biden investigation. Now, we are 99 days away from the most historic midterm
00:17:50.100 election since 1862 in this nation. Miranda Devine, after the Republicans, even the head of the RNC,
00:17:57.860 was on a day and said, well, we'll at least take four to take power. CBS News came out yesterday
00:18:02.360 and said it's going to be a minimum of 230 seats. Their model goes all the way up to 245 seats,
00:18:07.880 I think. People are talking about people taking 40, 50, 60. I hear that internal number showed
00:18:12.700 there's 74 seats in play. They're not saying they're going to win those, but 74 seats in play
00:18:16.360 and their target are 40. So what happens afterwards with these investigative committees with Jim Jordan,
00:18:22.140 Matt Gaetz and MTG, Daryl Issa, all of it. Miranda Devine, your column, and I put it up yesterday as
00:18:30.200 soon as it came out. It got tons of traffic. It's long. It's detailed. Walk us through it, ma'am.
00:18:37.700 Hi, Steve. Thanks very much. Look, basically, Christopher Wray is going to be up before the
00:18:44.100 Oversight Committee on Thursday in the House, and the Republicans are planning to really fire a whole
00:18:50.040 lot of bullets at him about FBI failures. It's not just the Hunter Biden laptop. There's a litany.
00:18:56.500 They'll be talking to him about the gymnastics team, the FBI allowing this Dr. Nasser to continue
00:19:04.800 sexually assaulting gymnasts when they had already been warned about it for over a year.
00:19:11.840 And the Hunter Biden story, of course, is probably the most egregious because Chuck Gradsley is now
00:19:18.060 whistleblowers from inside the FBI coming to him saying that there were elements.
00:19:24.200 In fact, they've named two particular agents, an agent and an analyst, a guy called Tim T.
00:19:30.460 Bolton, another guy called Brian Orton, who were taking this sort of derogatory information about
00:19:38.300 Hunter Biden, which of course means about Joe Biden before the election in August 2020 and again in
00:19:43.820 October 2020 and basically burying it, labelling it Russian disinformation and effectively killing
00:19:50.720 off any other investigations that might have gone on into, for instance, a laptop, Hunter Biden's
00:19:57.040 abandoned laptop. And also in October of 2020 was Tony Bobulinski, Hunter Biden's former business
00:20:04.180 partner, who had a whole lot of information that he handed over to the FBI, hours of being
00:20:11.400 interrogated by the FBI. They have such incriminating information from Bobulinski and
00:20:18.140 from the laptop. And yet the FBI apparently has done nothing. And it's really inexplicable.
00:20:27.120 And I think that that is one really strong line of inquiry for Director Wray on Thursday.
00:20:34.380 And I don't think it's good enough for him to just continually say, oh, this is an act of
00:20:39.160 investigation. We can't talk about it. When you say that, I mean, isn't that their policy that
00:20:45.420 every time you see Gates hammering them or Jordan hammering them, you know, the clip we get is they
00:20:51.340 just sit there and kind of smirk and say, we don't address ongoing investigations. I think Gates last
00:20:57.300 week had a classic five minute essentially beat down of, I believe, the head of national security for
00:21:02.280 DOJ, where the guy wouldn't answer anything except he did leak out. He did leak that and implied that
00:21:08.420 there is an ongoing investigation on Hunter Biden's laptop. We wouldn't confirm that he even has
00:21:13.180 possession of it. So what is to be done? You're going to have all these questions. They get different
00:21:19.880 angles of attack. But regarding the laptop, what do you believe we're going to, what new information
00:21:25.920 besides another beatdown of Wray where he just smirks and says, I can't answer anything,
00:21:30.520 do you believe we're going to get?
00:21:31.720 Well, look, I mean, I guess he can just stonewall, but it certainly will expose him
00:21:38.960 to the world. And I think he probably will want to not antagonise these Republican members because
00:21:47.760 they are, you know, as the polls show, going to be in charge and they can make his life extremely
00:21:53.420 difficult after the midterms. So he should probably be more forthcoming. Now, we have a whole lot of
00:22:00.280 evidence of nefarious activities within the FBI. There were the bogus defensive briefings that FBI
00:22:07.060 agents gave to Ron Johnson and Chuck Grasley, the two senators, in August of 2020, when they were
00:22:14.480 looking into the Hunter Biden corruption before the laptop came out. That was pretty appalling.
00:22:21.520 And then, of course, the laptop. I mean, who were T-Bolt and Orton, one of whom was also involved
00:22:29.420 in the Russia collusion scandal? Were they involved in burying the laptop? Were they involved in
00:22:35.440 burying Bobulinski's material?
00:22:37.140 Here's a question, because you know this better than anybody. You had the bestselling book
00:22:42.660 about the laptop from hell. How did they justify? It's bad enough what they did and had the
00:22:49.020 intelligence apparatus jump out in, you know, October of 2020 after the New York Post heroically
00:22:57.280 broke the story of which, remember, social media oligarchs immediately took you guys down and
00:23:03.380 you guys were up against the wall until it proved that you guys were right and done your due diligence.
00:23:08.980 But has anybody ever figured out or has anybody ever asked Ray why he and Barr, who were in receipt
00:23:15.240 of this, I believe it was from December 2019, why they basically, yeah, December 19 of 19,
00:23:23.660 why they essentially sat on it for months and months and months until exposed by the New York Post
00:23:30.280 and you're reporting? They just don't answer that question. Again, they come back to it's part of
00:23:37.020 an ongoing investigation. I mean, I know one of the questions that's going to be asked of Ray on
00:23:41.140 Thursday is, did you give the Bidens, whether Hunter Biden, his uncle Jim Biden or Joe Biden even,
00:23:48.580 a defensive briefing about the fact that they were doing business with CEFC, which was a front for the
00:23:54.940 Chinese military, military intelligence, sorry. And so they were doing business with Chinese spies. Now,
00:24:02.820 the FBI knew this because they had Patrick Ho, one of the CEFC characters that Hunter was paid a million
00:24:09.220 dollars to give him legal advice. He was arrested at JFK airport in 2017, November of 2017,
00:24:19.080 on bribery charges. And they had Pfizer warrants out on him and on other people in CEFC that Hunter
00:24:27.020 Biden was in partnership with. So they would have had communications that Hunter Biden had with these
00:24:33.380 people. So they would have had him under surveillance there. They also, we know, had him under surveillance
00:24:39.100 in 2018 because when his sister-in-law turned lover, Hallie Biden, threw away his new gun in a trash can
00:24:48.580 in Greenville, Delaware, right near the Biden family homes, when the local police were called,
00:24:55.760 guess who's straight on the scene? But the FBI and the FBI was there not because it's their business,
00:25:01.040 but because they had Hunter under surveillance. So he was, his activities were known to them.
00:25:07.560 And why were they, why were they covering up for him? Why were they just observing him? You know,
00:25:15.700 if it's a sting against his father, I mean, that would be pretty far-fetched, but maybe it is. We know
00:25:21.680 that the grand jury in Delaware investigating Hunter Biden has asked at least one witness who is the big
00:25:28.980 guy. And of course, we know the big guy is Joe Biden, who was slated to get 10% of this big Chinese
00:25:35.600 deal with CEFC. So if that's the case, they better get a hurry on. I mean, what is the delay? That's
00:25:44.480 what is so inexplicable. Why is the grand jury taking so long? Why is the FBI continually surveilling
00:25:51.560 Hunter Biden and doing nothing about it? You've seen, and you know, from that part of the world,
00:25:58.020 the, the, everything about face and respect everywhere from Alaska with Blinken to Rome with
00:26:04.940 Sullivan, no respect. The phone call the other day, you know, the, the, the Beijing always puts
00:26:11.040 in a totally different reading that White House won't put out the transcripts. They treat him with
00:26:15.420 no respect. Do you believe that one of the reasons they treat him with no respect is not just the
00:26:19.980 haplessness, but the fact that they know they're compromised Miranda Devine? Absolutely. I mean,
00:26:26.080 President Xi knows Joe Biden like the back of his hand. President Xi is an engineer. He's been in,
00:26:35.380 Joe Biden keeps on boasting about the number of hours he's had face to face with President Xi. If I were
00:26:40.120 Joe Biden, I wouldn't want to spend that much time giving my adversary time to, you know, look into my
00:26:46.900 mind such as it is. So President Xi has his number. He knows that Joe Biden is venal, that he has a
00:26:55.460 problem with the truth and he knows all his weaknesses and he's pressed on those from the
00:27:01.260 beginning. He's played him like a fiddle. And now the reward is that America's foreign policy towards
00:27:07.820 China is soft. Joe Biden's administration is just unwinding piece by piece, the sort of strong
00:27:16.540 you know, that you were part of that, the sort of tough stance against China, particularly bringing
00:27:23.380 back our manufacturing and so on and the trade situation. You know, the fact that Joe Biden goes
00:27:30.800 and has that two and a half marathon meeting with Xi the other day, and then there's a discrepancy
00:27:37.600 between what China says happened in the meeting and what Joe Biden says. I mean, the sad thing is
00:27:43.120 that it's very hard to believe Joe Biden.
00:27:47.960 Miranda, how do people get the book and how do they follow you on social media and your column?
00:27:53.700 So Laptop from Hell, and it's on Amazon at all good bookstores, Barnes and Noble online.
00:28:00.120 And I'm on Twitter everywhere, Getter, Truth Social, at Miranda Devine.
00:28:06.860 You're amazing. Best columnist in the country. Miranda Devine from the New York Post.
00:28:11.700 Honored to have you on.
00:28:12.460 Thanks a lot. Thanks, Dave.
00:28:15.020 Matt and Mercedes Schlapp, CPAC. Also going to ask him about Nancy Pelosi.
00:28:20.320 When we get back in the world.
00:28:24.200 Midterms begins at CPAC Texas.
00:28:26.700 Join President Trump, Sean Hannity, Steve Bannon, and a packed house of conservative all-stars.
00:28:31.940 With your help, we will take back the House. We will win the Senate.
00:28:36.060 A big red wave is coming. It all starts at CPAC Texas.
00:28:40.140 Fire Pelosi. Save America.
00:28:42.520 And then a Republican president will return to the White House.
00:28:47.640 Who, who, who will that be?
00:28:49.460 The American Conservative Union is responsible for the content of this advertising.
00:28:53.800 Okay, Monday, 1 August, you're over, Lord 2022.
00:28:56.100 This is CPAC Week, CPAC Texas. Matt Schlapp joins us.
00:28:59.400 Thanks, Matt. Nancy Pelosi's going, I think on Wednesday, the eve of CPAC opening over in Taiwan, is going to head to Taiwan for a visit.
00:29:09.900 The CCP has said, this is either not going to happen or this is going to cause a big problem.
00:29:15.420 The White House came out today and said they should not overreact.
00:29:17.840 The, the theme of CPAC is, uh, fire Pelosi, save America.
00:29:23.520 How, how do you, what's your view of her trip to Taiwan, uh, in the White House response?
00:29:29.620 By the way, the White House Kirby, Admiral Kirby said at the briefing, uh, we don't support an independent Taiwan.
00:29:36.440 Right?
00:29:37.080 Yeah.
00:29:37.340 So what, what, what, what, what, what's your, what's your assessment of this?
00:29:40.220 Miranda Devine, the great columnist.
00:29:41.840 I mean, for her, cause she doesn't run around with a hair on fire.
00:29:44.900 She's the top columnist of one of the top papers in the country.
00:29:47.840 She said, there's no doubt that she knows that Biden's compromised by both money and the honeypotting of his, of his son.
00:29:55.640 What say you, sir?
00:29:57.740 Well, that's what China does.
00:29:59.380 Uh, Gordon Chang, who's on our board, always reminds us that, uh, they always entangle us through relationships and, uh, through money.
00:30:08.120 And it's clearly what they've done with the Bidens.
00:30:10.760 Now, look, this is a cleanup on aisle five situation because the readout through the conversation, uh, between Biden and she was that, uh, she was really taking Biden to task and Biden wasn't saying much about it.
00:30:23.220 And then the readout from the, uh, the White House was, oh, we're going to continue to build this relationship.
00:30:28.680 So, you know, they had to fix this today because you're literally having a assassination threatened on the Speaker of the House.
00:30:35.520 Who's something like the third in line, uh, to the presidency.
00:30:38.380 And look, I got to give Nancy Pelosi some credit at the beginning of her career.
00:30:42.300 She was much more forceful in human rights questions against China.
00:30:46.620 And if she's going to go to Taiwan, might be the only time I agree with what she's doing, but I agree with what she's doing and I support it.
00:30:53.260 No, I mean, when she first ran, she was one of the members.
00:30:57.620 She was almost arrested in Tiananmen Square.
00:30:59.900 That's right.
00:31:00.440 We're going over there and protesting.
00:31:01.920 Hey, she kind of lost that, but now it's coming back.
00:31:05.040 Do you believe, by the way, the White House lied because remember they said, hey, we confronted Xi about slave labor.
00:31:11.340 No.
00:31:11.820 Uh, the Uyghurs, the Uyghurs, uh, yeah, yeah.
00:31:16.040 And CCP said, yeah, I don't think so.
00:31:18.920 Which I kind of believe, it's tough to believe the liars of CCP, but sometimes they lie less than the, you don't believe Biden confronted Xi in that call at all, sir.
00:31:27.860 Is that correct?
00:31:28.660 I don't believe Biden confronted Xi.
00:31:31.200 I don't think, uh, Biden confronted the crown prince in Saudi Arabia on the things they claim that they chided him for.
00:31:39.940 I think our foreign policy is feckless.
00:31:41.900 And how do I know that?
00:31:42.900 Because when we do these CPACs around the world, the readout we get from our contacts in the government is that, but it really is a sad thing that Biden's not all there.
00:31:51.800 And if he delivers messages, it's after he's left the room and the aides are delivering the message.
00:31:56.960 It's a really frightening time for the country, Stevie.
00:31:59.400 I know you know this, especially with the service of your daughter.
00:32:02.900 This is a, uh, you know, we need a commander in chief to set a bold statement about what we'll accept and not accept.
00:32:09.420 And I'm sure for Nancy Pelosi, it's a little disconcerting to know what the hell the White House might be saying or not saying.
00:32:15.920 And if they don't deal with the president, what are they going to do, deal with the vice president?
00:32:19.280 How's she going to get up to speed?
00:32:20.640 I mean, it's a scary time.
00:32:22.480 It's got a right.
00:32:23.580 Hang on.
00:32:24.600 Correct me if I'm wrong.
00:32:25.960 CPAC Israel was just after Biden left.
00:32:28.860 What was it?
00:32:29.360 It had to be buzzing.
00:32:30.500 It had to be buzzing with what a command presence.
00:32:35.640 You're not allowed to get me in trouble with which country said that.
00:32:38.800 But let's just say, yeah, I think the people, the people in Israel that we talked to were alarmed at the mental acuity of the president.
00:32:48.120 Wow.
00:32:48.560 Talk to us about this coming week, national security, economics.
00:32:53.720 It's a two focus.
00:32:54.920 How do we take it back?
00:32:56.140 How do you win?
00:32:56.840 How do you get organized?
00:32:57.680 It's 90 some days ago.
00:32:59.020 And then what do we do afterwards?
00:33:00.560 Break down what people can anticipate.
00:33:02.780 We want all this to be sold.
00:33:04.100 We'll just go ahead.
00:33:06.420 Your war room community.
00:33:08.620 Thank you all for turning on the heaters here and running that great ad.
00:33:13.360 I think there's a lot of enthusiasm around this country.
00:33:16.660 Obviously, you take back the government.
00:33:18.280 And for me, you know, I'm a little bit of a minority voice here.
00:33:20.640 People think the pullout in Afghanistan, the shame of that, the inflation.
00:33:27.300 You look at these numbers, 18 percent of Hispanics think we're on the right track.
00:33:30.940 But I still think what undergirds it all is everyone always knew the Democrats were bad at economics.
00:33:36.460 They knew they liked to spend too much money.
00:33:38.340 And they knew they're kind of like reckless when it comes to our national security.
00:33:41.660 But this woke thing, this is what ties it all together.
00:33:45.160 This is what this election is going to be back.
00:33:47.020 This is why people of color are going to vote for Republican candidates like we've never seen before.
00:33:51.520 Look at those border districts between Texas and Mexico, Meyer Flores and these other folks.
00:33:57.780 Look at these young candidates in Virginia.
00:34:00.660 There is a pushback on woke from independents and Democrats as well as a lot of Republicans.
00:34:06.140 It's true.
00:34:06.520 Republicans are having their own family squabble, which we always seem to have, which is kind of a sideshow.
00:34:12.200 The real story is this.
00:34:13.860 The Democratic coalition is literally breaking up before our eyes.
00:34:18.000 And they are really turned on to what Republicans stand for when Republicans fight, when Republicans turn tail and do what the Senate just did and what they did on guns.
00:34:28.580 You know, it really disheartens people.
00:34:31.100 That is the only risk we have in November.
00:34:34.480 How do people still get tickets and how they find out the schedule, everything?
00:34:38.040 It's Thursday, Friday, Saturday.
00:34:39.800 How do people find out about this?
00:34:43.160 Just go to our website at conservative.org.
00:34:45.420 You can still buy tickets.
00:34:46.680 If you type in code word war room, you're going to get a chance to be at a reception with your host, Steve Bannon.
00:34:53.680 And, Steve, you're speaking Friday night at the Cattleman's Ball.
00:34:57.140 You're kind of keeping it close to your vest about what you're going to say.
00:35:00.260 And I just want to say, yes, I know we have Victor Orban and other people speaking that is controversial with the media.
00:35:05.820 You know, the Washington Post literally wrote an editorial on Sunday basically saying that they want to vote in determining who speaks at CPAC.
00:35:13.320 That's, you know, that's quite something, you know, Jeff Bezos, you don't get to decide who speaks at CPAC.
00:35:18.360 Matter of fact, we might just do the opposite of what you tell us.
00:35:21.340 But, you know, people come to our stage, Steve, and they say what's on their mind.
00:35:25.240 And it's very spontaneous.
00:35:27.300 That's one of the reasons why CPAC gets a lot more eyes than an RNC convention.
00:35:31.020 And it can get pretty rowdy.
00:35:33.520 Matt, once again, how do people get there and how do they find you, particularly your Twitter account, which runs a little hot on occasion?
00:35:41.200 We understand Mercedes told us that she tells you to pray before you hit the trigger.
00:35:46.460 But I want to make sure people know.
00:35:48.880 She said I have to say a Hail Mary.
00:35:51.220 I need to say a Hail Mary before I tweet.
00:35:52.960 And I say sometimes I just get to the hail part.
00:35:54.800 But just go to conservative.org and you can see the full schedule is there.
00:36:01.560 You know, Jim Jordan, Ted Cruz, President Trump, Senator Bill Hagerty is going to be talking about all these questions about China.
00:36:08.880 Our great board member, Gordon Chang, will be speaking.
00:36:12.480 So many others, your conservative favorites.
00:36:14.460 You know, you'll be there.
00:36:15.560 Steve Glenn Beck will be there.
00:36:16.880 Sean Hannity will be there.
00:36:18.620 As you know, it's a who's who and it's a crash course in what's going on in your government.
00:36:22.780 I have to say I'm not optimistic in politics very often, but I'm very optimistic.
00:36:27.600 So everybody should come out and let's send a message to George Soros that the people still rule.
00:36:34.520 Amazing.
00:36:35.300 Matt, thank you very much.
00:36:36.740 Matt Slap from ACU, the parent organization of CPAC, CPAC Texas this week.
00:36:42.720 Want to make sure everybody in North Texas, everybody in the region, everybody in Dallas, make sure you go.
00:36:47.320 We're looking forward to seeing you.
00:36:48.180 First time we're really taking the show on the road for an extended period of time.
00:36:51.400 So we're really excited about this.
00:36:52.780 Thank you, Matt.
00:36:53.240 We'll be broadcasting there every day, four hours a day, every day from CPAC.
00:36:58.900 Matt Slap, thank you.
00:36:59.840 Let's go to Kansas.
00:37:01.980 Thank you, brother.
00:37:02.880 Let's go to Kansas.
00:37:03.860 I think it was USA Today, massive story today about the Constitution.
00:37:08.400 Kobach, tell me why there's already lines wrapped around the block.
00:37:12.020 I think you've sent some photos to us.
00:37:13.440 This thing is getting intense in Kansas.
00:37:15.700 All the media is all over it about your Constitution and then the races that spring off the Constitution, particularly yours, the Attorney General's race.
00:37:23.660 So walk us through what's happening in Kansas.
00:37:24.960 Yeah, what's happening is the early voting numbers are shattering all the previous records.
00:37:32.280 As of this morning, 270,000 people had cast their votes either in person early voting or by mail early voting.
00:37:40.120 And that's three times what it was in the last non-presidential election, namely 2018.
00:37:45.960 What's driving it is this constitutional referendum.
00:37:51.180 We are the first state up after the demise of Roe v. Wade with a ballot issue.
00:37:56.940 And the ballot issue simply corrects what the Kansas Supreme Court did in 2019.
00:38:01.780 The Kansas Supreme Court invented an invisible right to an abortion in the Kansas Constitution,
00:38:06.860 kind of like how the Supreme Court invented one in the U.S. Constitution in Roe v. Wade.
00:38:11.160 However, even worse, the Kansas Supreme Court's handiwork is a far broader abortion right.
00:38:18.040 At any rate, this constitutional referendum is on an amendment that the legislature passed,
00:38:24.020 and this would ratify what the legislature did, simply saying,
00:38:27.680 no, there is no constitutional right to an abortion in Kansas,
00:38:30.000 and the legislature has the authority to regulate abortion.
00:38:33.820 It's pretty modest, but the pro-abortion forces from outside of Kansas,
00:38:39.100 from all over the country are pouring money in, and they are distorting what the referendum does.
00:38:44.940 But it is a big, big deal.
00:38:46.900 The state is really on fire over this issue of pro-life versus pro-abortion.
00:38:54.660 Kansas, you would posit or I think agree with me,
00:38:57.980 that's one of the more conservative states in the union, sir?
00:39:02.580 Absolutely.
00:39:03.060 Although, you know, not as deep, deep red conservative as, say, a place like Utah or Oklahoma.
00:39:09.020 But we're still a very conservative state, and, you know, polling shows that we are a pro-life state,
00:39:14.960 narrowly so, but we have become a pro-life state over the years.
00:39:19.900 Why is this such a big deal for the pro-abortion people,
00:39:24.320 given Kansas, where Kansas is located in the country?
00:39:27.800 Well, the reason it's such a big deal for them, there are two reasons.
00:39:31.680 One is they want to show that after the Dobbs decision,
00:39:35.320 that somehow the pro-choice forces are mobilized and galvanized,
00:39:39.320 and it's going to change everything and stop the red wave in November.
00:39:42.760 And they want to make an example of Kansas.
00:39:45.380 But the other thing is, and this is the far more troubling thing,
00:39:49.540 is they see Kansas as an abortion oasis in the Midwest.
00:39:54.180 Because of what the Kansas Supreme Court did in wrongly creating this right to an abortion,
00:40:01.480 the states around us, like Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, hopefully Nebraska soon,
00:40:07.300 are restricting abortions.
00:40:09.360 And it is driving people seeking abortions into Kansas,
00:40:12.920 where it's an anything-goes situation right now.
00:40:15.920 And so we could become a really sad place with, you know, with unlimited abortion rights.
00:40:22.780 So there are two objectives that the pro-abortion left has.
00:40:27.760 Talk to me about, give me a minute on your AG race.
00:40:31.380 How do you stay in the primary right now?
00:40:33.680 Well, the polls continue to show me ahead.
00:40:36.040 However, this is a hard-fought race,
00:40:38.780 and it's probably the highest-profile primary in Kansas right now.
00:40:43.040 It's all decided tomorrow.
00:40:44.960 Tomorrow is Election Day.
00:40:46.220 But, of course, as I mentioned, a lot of votes,
00:40:48.920 hundreds of thousands of votes have already been cast.
00:40:50.960 And so it's a – what I'm seeing when I travel the state,
00:40:54.780 I just completed a tour of southeast Kansas,
00:40:57.540 is people are really upset at the Biden administration,
00:40:59.920 and they're recognizing that the attorney general has the authority
00:41:03.220 and has the standing in court to bring a lawsuit to stop these egregious,
00:41:08.340 illegal things that the Biden administration is doing.
00:41:10.780 As you know, Steve, I'm already representing members of the Air Force,
00:41:13.760 challenging Biden's Department of Defense on their vaccine mandate
00:41:17.240 that violates people's First Amendment rights.
00:41:19.100 If I'm attorney general, I'll be bringing lawsuits to defend
00:41:23.100 Americans' Second Amendment interests, you name it,
00:41:25.960 up and down the issues, hopefully reinforcing the rule of law on the border.
00:41:31.120 There need to be more lawsuits brought against the Biden administration
00:41:34.240 because there are so many things they have done that are in violation of the law.
00:41:37.900 And I'm sensing that people in Kansas recognize that.
00:41:41.160 They want to go on offense, and that's what we'll be doing if I'm elected.
00:41:45.240 How do people get to the website to follow you for the next 24 hours on your campaign?
00:41:50.960 Yeah, they can go to my website, chriskobach.com.
00:41:53.780 That's K-R-I-S-K-O-B-A-C-H dot com.
00:41:57.660 You can follow what's happening, can chip in if they wish to.
00:42:00.920 It's going to be a big day, big night tomorrow.
00:42:04.460 Run through the tape and fight on.
00:42:06.200 Chris Kobach, one of the best guys in this country, a real patriot.
00:42:09.660 Will do. Thanks, Steve.

00:44:05.140 A big red wave is coming.
00:44:07.040 It all starts at CPAC Texas.
00:44:09.240 Fire Pelosi.
00:44:10.340 Save America.
00:44:11.600 And then a Republican president will return to the White House.
00:44:16.720 Who, who, who will that be?
00:44:18.300 The American Conservative Union is responsible for the content of this advertising.
00:44:23.460 Okay.
00:44:23.940 Welcome back.
00:44:24.600 I've asked Frank Gaffney to change things around.
00:44:26.640 By the way, the president of the United States, or the regime head, is going to have a public announcement tonight about killing the head of al-Qaeda by a CIA drone strike.
00:44:37.260 I think it's going to be 7.30 live to the nation.
00:44:40.080 Frank, I'll get your assessment of that in a second.
00:44:41.960 But I've got to ask you about the situation in China.
00:44:46.500 You've been doing this for a long time.
00:44:48.100 You're head of the Committee on Present Danger, China.
00:44:51.180 Right now, I'm so proud of the webinars and how people are getting engaged in everything.
00:44:55.600 Walk us through your assessment of what's going on right now in Taiwan and with the CCP.
00:44:59.520 We're watching a convergence of events, Steve, that I think is portentous, shall we say.
00:45:08.740 We're seeing what the Chinese are clearly spinning as a provocation taking place in the form of Nancy Pelosi's visit to Taiwan.
00:45:19.860 I'm not sure they're ready for the full-on military operation that they clearly are preparing for, but they may decide that having talked themselves into a very high state of, well, aggression, that they have no choice.
00:45:41.880 They would lose too much face to back down without doing something to interfere with her travel there.
00:45:48.680 I'm a little surprised that the announcement was made when she is going to go.
00:45:54.180 I don't know whether that was meant to deconflict or whether that was meant to set her up for a problem.
00:46:02.280 But whatever it was, I think it was a mistake.
00:46:04.340 But the bigger problem, Steve, is that Xi Jinping, the dictator of China, is at this moment being buffeted by increasing economic, political, and I would argue strategic challenges
00:46:23.720 that may prompt him to do what totalitarians have done basically from the beginning of that kind of ideological discipline.
00:46:36.640 And that is, when all else fails, go for what has been called by the political scientists, social engineering, which is to say creating some pretext for the kind of domestic repression that's required to keep a lid on things
00:46:53.700 by citing some foreign devil who has to be dealt with, usually forcefully, lest they become a greater threat to, in this case, China.
00:47:07.600 And I think all of this has the potential to go seriously sideways.
00:47:11.880 I think Nancy Pelosi deserves a great deal of credit for standing by her commitment to Taiwan and, you know, courageously putting herself in harm's way to do so.
00:47:26.380 God love her.
00:47:27.000 Here's what I don't understand.
00:47:27.940 Look, she was, and by the way, people are saying they're doing it because of the stock they own and semiconductor companies.
00:47:33.700 They want a taste of the bill that's going to get passed here, the chips bill.
00:47:37.500 You know, a lot of people on our side of the football just can't stand the sight of her.
00:47:41.880 She started out as a anti-CCP warrior when she first got to Congress.
00:47:45.940 One of the biggest things she ran on in that district of hers.
00:47:48.420 She went to, she was at Tiananmen Square.
00:47:50.220 She almost got arrested at Tiananmen Square.
00:47:51.960 But she went soft for a number of years.
00:47:54.200 What is it, and she knows she's going to get blown out, so she's not going to be the speaker at number three in line come after, you know, January 1st, but basically lose it in November.
00:48:03.540 What is propelling her now to make an East Asia tour where you're essentially up in the grill of the CCP, but particularly to go to Taiwan?
00:48:12.780 Your best assessment, Frank, why do it and why do it now?
00:48:16.860 Well, there's the obvious explanation.
00:48:18.660 This is kind of a victory lap for her on her way out the door to show that, you know, she's a major international figure.
00:48:26.720 I don't think she quite anticipated she would be gaining this stature this way, Steve.
00:48:33.400 I have the feeling that somewhere in the mix is that she has been stung by the criticism that the war room and others have leveled at her for being a prime example of elite capture.
00:48:45.420 You're right.
00:48:46.140 She was very formidable about how the Chinese brutalized their own people.
00:48:50.960 And, by the way, the people of Tibet, her husband then started making an immense amount of money in deals with the Chinese Communist Party, and she went pretty much quiet.
00:49:01.660 But I think this is a finale for her that I, you know, I can't stand the sight of her myself either, to be honest with you, but I'm grateful that she's putting it forward to what she is.
00:49:10.280 What people don't know, a lot of her, when I was in the White House, a lot of her staff and people who have worked with her over the years are hawks, are super hawks.
00:49:16.620 It's surprising, but they were disappointed.
00:49:19.220 I mean, when she first started, she was a fire breather in this topic.
00:49:22.560 Frank, you're going to go to, by the way, talk about the webinars, and then you're going to be, Jay Ellis, you're going to join us at CPAC, I think opening day, Thursday.
00:49:31.280 You guys are going to be helping me for a couple of segments, walk through the game.
00:49:34.880 Everybody's got to learn the game now because it's going to be big and front burner after November 8th.
00:49:39.460 Everybody's got to get up to speed on this, so you've got to learn the details of the big steal.
00:49:43.680 Trump is now in court with his defamation.
00:49:45.760 It's going to be huge.
00:49:46.620 Walk through the webinars and tell me about your CPAC journey.
00:49:50.720 Well, Steve, I just want to say I want to thank you for your leadership about creating this Committee on the Present Danger of China back in February of 2019
00:50:01.100 to make the case to make the case to the American people that the Chinese Communist Party is our mortal enemy and to show them the ways in which it is actually securing, in some ways, decisive victories against us in what they've called unrestricted warfare now for several decades.
00:50:21.500 We've done two series now, again, with your encouragement of webinars.
00:50:27.700 One began about three months ago, every week, Thursdays at 1 o'clock typically, Eastern Time.
00:50:35.380 We do a program on various aspects of this unrestricted warfare, how they're waging it against us, the various targets that they are pursuing, the successes that they're achieving, what we need to do about it.
00:50:50.640 So Thursday of last week, we had a fascinating program on the Sino-Soviet, Sino-Russian, No Limits Partnership.
00:50:58.440 Frank, we've got to bounce real quickly.
00:51:00.420 How do people get to give me the site they go to?
00:51:02.700 We'll push it.
00:51:03.200 It's presentdangerchina.org to register for two that we have this week.
