Bannon's War Room - Episode 2046： Gameday In The Battleground States; Energy Continues To Plummet Across The Globe

00:00:00.000 Well, the virus has now killed more than 100 people in China and new cases have been confirmed

00:00:04.800 around the world. So you don't want to frighten the American public. France and South Korea have

00:00:09.280 also got evacuation plans. But you need to prepare for and assume. Broadly warning Americans to avoid

00:00:15.760 all non-essential travel to China. That this is going to be a real serious problem. France,

00:00:20.540 Australia, Canada, the U.S., Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, the list goes on. Health officials are

00:00:25.340 investigating more than 100 possible cases in the U.S. Germany, a man has contracted the virus.

00:00:32.040 The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon hide. Japan, where a bus driver contracted

00:00:37.980 the virus. Coronavirus has killed more than 100 people there and infected more than 4,500.

00:00:44.680 We have to prepare for the worst always, because if you don't and the worst happens.

00:00:49.680 War Room. Pandemic. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:00:55.480 Okay, you're live. It's Tuesday, 2 August, the year of our Lord, 2022. Who in a million years

00:01:02.020 would have thought this would have been Super Tuesday? It's game day throughout this great

00:01:06.020 country of ours as the forces of MAGA and President Trump go up against the Republican

00:01:11.600 establishment in just a brutal, brutal, brutal civil war. They are unloading an incredible amount

00:01:17.740 of money. They don't have votes. What they have is money and they have the politics of personal

00:01:22.040 destruction. They're not arguing about policies. They're out to destroy people. Let's go to

00:01:26.460 Missouri and start off with Commander Eric Greitens running in the Republican primary for

00:01:31.200 Senator. Commander Greitens, you got the endorsement yesterday. Tell us how that's playing. The folks

00:01:36.340 in Missouri, the good patriots in Missouri, getting the word out there, sir?

00:01:41.680 Yes, sir, they are. We are honored to have President Trump's endorsement and honored to have

00:01:46.420 right behind that Donald Trump Jr., Kimberly Guilfoyle, you know, folks from the War Room

00:01:52.820 Posse come on out and saying, we've got to continue to fight for Eric Greitens every single minute.

00:02:00.540 Steve, we are going to be working all the way through 1900 Central. We're going to make sure that

00:02:05.760 we're pushing folks out to the polls. At the end of the day, this race is very simple. Perhaps the

00:02:11.940 biggest contrast in the country. This is MAGA versus McConnell. I was the first guy in the country to

00:02:19.100 say that when I'm elected to the United States Senate, I'm voting against Mitch McConnell because

00:02:24.160 we need new America First leadership. And so we've got Karl Rove and Mitch McConnell coming in,

00:02:30.120 pouring 10 million plus dollars into false ads, fake polls for a rhino. In fact, President Trump just

00:02:39.180 two nights ago came out and said that Eric Schmidt, my opponent, who's a rhino, that his campaign

00:02:45.340 was practicing great dishonesty in politics. And that's what these rhinos do because they can't 1.00

00:02:52.580 beat us, Steve, on the issues. My rhino opponents refuse to even debate me during this election because

00:03:00.120 they know they're wrong on election integrity. They're wrong on the border. They're wrong on the

00:03:05.420 Ukraine. They're wrong on returning to President Trump's America First energy policies, which we

00:03:11.680 need to do. They're wrong on foreign policy. And because they're wrong on all of the issues,

00:03:16.780 what they do is exactly what you said. They push fake polls. They push false ads. But what you're

00:03:23.400 going to see today is at the end of the day, love beats lies. Courage is rooted in love. That is why

00:03:31.420 people stand up and they fight for their country. And Steve, we have the fighters. We have the

00:03:36.900 patriots. And they're going to see that our compassion beats their cruelty. Our faith beats

00:03:42.400 their fear. That we have unleashed a wave of MAGA warriors who are going out and they are fighting

00:03:50.040 for every single vote. And we're going to bring home a great victory tonight, sir.

00:03:54.880 Okay. I know you're going throughout the state. I want to know where people, I guess you're going

00:03:59.860 polling district by polling district. I hope, I assume you're doing tons of AM radio. AM radio is

00:04:06.200 still the best to get the word out. Walk us through, how do you promulgate this today? How do you get

00:04:11.420 the word out that you're the Trump endorsed candidate? Well, sir, this is my eighth interview

00:04:16.420 of the morning. As soon as I'm finished with you, I'm on a Kansas City radio station. And then

00:04:21.740 I'm going out to vote myself personally. And we've got all of the media coming out for that.

00:04:27.480 Then I'm going to be doing more interviews after that. Meanwhile, Steve, literally every two minute

00:04:33.140 break that I have, I am hitting our grassroots supporters, encouraging them, and they are texting

00:04:38.680 and they are calling people all over the state of Missouri. This is a critical race. And for anybody

00:04:45.060 who's listening right now, who's in the state of Missouri, make sure that you get out and vote.

00:04:50.560 Our country is in a crisis. You know, Steve, I was in the SEAL team training when September 11th

00:04:56.580 happened. I believe that the crisis we're in today is a hundred times worse than September 11th,

00:05:03.060 but there's a difference and there's a hopeful difference. After September 11th, it was me,

00:05:08.420 it was my friends in the SEAL teams, it was guys in the army, the Navy, the Air Force, Marine Corps,

00:05:12.880 who went overseas to fight that fight. In this crisis, sir, every patriot who's listening has a duty.

00:05:20.060 Every patriot who's listening has a role to play in helping us to take our country back.

00:05:25.080 So if you're in Missouri, get out to vote, please, for Eric Greitens in the Republican primary for the

00:05:30.380 United States Senate. Get your friends and your family out. And if you're outside of the state of

00:05:34.760 Missouri and you know somebody in the state of Missouri, encourage them, get out because we're

00:05:40.160 going to win this battle today, sir.

00:05:44.060 Eric Greitens, social media, how do people track you during the day to keep up with constant updates?

00:05:48.860 Uh, social media, critical updates are going to be at Eric Greitens on all of our social media

00:05:55.980 platforms. And again, if you're in the state of Missouri, come out to the victory party tonight,

00:06:00.620 but it's at Eric Greitens and honored to have everybody's support. And Steve, for me, election

00:06:06.360 day is also a day of gratitude. I'm grateful to you. I'm grateful to the fantastic folks around you.

00:06:12.340 I know you've got great patriots like Ben Bergquam and Steve Cortez on your show.

00:06:16.820 These are incredible men of great courage, great character that you surround yourself with. I'm

00:06:21.660 grateful to you and to the entire war room posse. We're going onward to victory, sir.

00:06:26.880 Well, you're the one out there at the tip of the spear, Greitens. So keep grinding,

00:06:30.700 run through the tape, and we'll be following you throughout the day. Commander Eric Greitens in

00:06:34.740 this tough race in Missouri. The Trump endorsed candidate, Don Jr., Kimberly, everybody, Boris,

00:06:39.860 all of them piling in after Trump endorsed them. A very contentious race. McConnell and the forces

00:06:46.180 of darkness out there. I'll get Cortez. We'll be talking about that momentarily. Let's play,

00:06:50.480 of course, MSNBC following closely the war room and our own Real America's Voice. Ben Bergquam is

00:06:58.020 out there, has had a love bouquet this morning about the work we're doing. Let's go and play the cold

00:07:02.780 open for Ben Bergquam, who's out in Arizona right now.

00:07:05.100 You're already contending that there's irregularities and there is fraud in this

00:07:08.080 election. At what point does Carrie Lake stop and say, am I undermining American faith in our 0.83

00:07:14.280 elections?

00:07:14.720 Carrie Lake, can it help bring that constitution to America?

00:07:18.860 But you haven't even laid out any fraud or irregularity.

00:07:22.200 But what fraud is there, Carrie? What fraud is there? This is serious.

00:07:29.360 Do you want to make this about you?

00:07:30.340 No, this is about Arizona voters and their faith in this election.

00:07:34.540 This is exactly what we saw Donald Trump do ahead of the 2020 election here, claiming fraud before

00:07:56.160 the votes even came in. Now, to be clear, we expect Carrie Lake to have a strong chance of 1.00

00:08:01.200 pulling off tonight's victory. But she's already setting up the stakes.

00:08:03.680 If Karen Taylor Robeson is close to her in this race, I think we're going to be looking at days

00:08:09.420 ahead in which Carrie Lake, you know, the Trump acolyte, is contesting this election here for 1.00

00:08:14.700 governor in Arizona.

00:08:15.920 Well, Vaughn, that was a heck of an interview.

00:08:18.500 You were extraordinarily patient, despite the fact that you were credited as, I guess,

00:08:25.840 being what's bad about America or something like that. Here you have somebody trying to

00:08:30.240 actually undermine destroying America, destroying America. Here we have somebody who has spent the

00:08:35.780 past couple of months trying to gain power by lying about how great the United States of America is,

00:08:42.260 by lying about American democracy, by deciding she'd rather undermine American democracy and undermine

00:08:49.560 the rule of law than actually risk losing a race. And you see why she's a Trump acolyte. You see why

00:08:57.320 Donald Trump loves her because she loves Donald Trump and loves her own political power more than

00:09:04.780 she loves America. And it's really sad. I actually, I pity her because I know people like her.

00:09:11.280 They may win a couple of votes in the short run, but they will lose in the end.

00:09:15.320 And it's just an absolute disgrace. And Arizona is ground zero. I'm wondering, Vaughn,

00:09:22.360 that was all my commentary, none of yours. I'm wondering, Vaughn, do you talk? Because I served

00:09:28.980 with a lot of Arizona Republicans when we took over the House of Representatives in 1994.

00:09:37.360 Good, solid people. One of them, Matt Salmon, was running for governor himself.

00:09:43.460 Good, solid, rock rib Reagan Republicans like we all were. And I'm just, talk about the battle

00:09:52.360 between people like Matt Salmon, these public officials who, these county commissioners in

00:09:59.320 Maricopa County who keep trying to tell the freaks and lunatics in their own party that they're lying

00:10:07.100 to voters. Talk about the tension between these Main Street conservative Republicans and these

00:10:14.400 ideological conspiracy theory chasing freaks.

00:10:20.480 Joe, you're absolutely right, because this, I will say over and over again, is a conservative state.

00:10:27.000 It's historically been a conservative state. It is a conservative state. In 2018,

00:10:31.400 Doug Ducey won his re-election by almost 17 percentage points. You mentioned former Congressman

00:10:36.600 Matt Salmon, who was actually running in this governor's race. He dropped out just a couple

00:10:40.840 weeks ago. Last night, he was campaigning for Karen Taylor Robeson, the opponent here to Carrie

00:10:45.980 Lake, who has the endorsement of not only Pence, but also Ducey. You know, I sat down with Jan Brewer

00:10:51.840 just over two weeks ago. And for anybody that remembers Jan-

00:10:55.220 The audience gets a vote, and I guess you've reached your limit, because I'm getting blown

00:11:00.860 it up right now. Matt Salmon, man, Matt, bad. It's not a smart decision. You see right there

00:11:09.180 what they want. Here's what they want. They want controlled opposition. They want the country

00:11:13.460 club Republicans that sit there and, you know, argue over some marginal tax cuts. They want their

00:11:17.700 tax cuts. They want their deregulation. They won't fight for anything else. They're all for open

00:11:22.060 borders. They're all for the working class and middle class to get crushed economically. 1.00

00:11:27.220 What they want, and that's what Joe Scarborough was, it's the controlled opposition Republican

00:11:31.780 Party. It's the Washington generals to the Democrats and progressives in the uniparties,

00:11:38.060 Harlem Globetrotters, right? The Washington generals are just there to kind of have to be opposition,

00:11:42.900 but never get close to really winning anything of importance. Let's go to Ben Berquam. Ben,

00:11:47.220 the audience really loved that three-and-a-half, four-minute cold open we played for you

00:11:52.260 by Joe Scarborough and the team at MSNBC. You were in the background of that shot last night. I mean,

00:11:58.680 Carrie Lake was laying down. The guy just couldn't, you couldn't hear her. She's coming in full force. 0.52

00:12:03.700 You were there. Tell us what happened.

00:12:06.860 Yeah, you know, it was hard for me to stomach just sitting here. I wasn't watching it. I was listening

00:12:11.040 to it, but I was there last night, and, you know, it's funny, right afterwards,

00:12:14.000 Vaughn's here, and I told him last night, I was like, well, that's the fake news. I went back to

00:12:18.580 our camera. This is really the, you know, it's interesting where they're talking about setting

00:12:23.160 it up for fraud in 2022. They're still ignoring the fraud in 2020. I was here for the election

00:12:29.380 2020. Nine days after the election, I was down in Maricopa County every single day reporting for

00:12:34.240 you with Boris and all the other, the team down here, and it was clear that election was stolen. I mean,

00:12:39.580 all you have to do is look at the vote by mail, the signature verification going from 3% to under

00:12:45.960 1%. That stole the election. Take out the machines and everything else. They don't want to admit it.

00:12:51.080 It's the same people that won't admit the theft of 2020 that are teeing up, trying to tee up.

00:12:56.620 Ah, well, see, we told you so. You can't say anything about elections now for 2022. And I just,

00:13:01.480 I love Carrie Lake. I mean, she just says it like it is. She doesn't pull any punches. And really,

00:13:06.240 MSNBC needs a little bit of that. They've for too long have had the, just been able to, to really

00:13:11.900 intimidate people into silence and to say what they want to say. And in fact, now they're basically

00:13:17.500 endorsing rhino Republicans. I mean, that, that, if that tells you anything that Carrie Lake should 1.00

00:13:23.460 be the choice, that's it right there. If MSNBC is, is, is, is supporting Republicans, you don't support

00:13:29.620 those Republicans. Because, because they're supporting them because of controlled opposition real

00:13:34.640 quickly, Ben, we got about a minute. Yeah. Tell us what's the intensity. I know you got down there

00:13:38.600 going to point, we're going to have Carrie Lake with Ben in the second hour of the show. Tell us,

00:13:42.380 tell us what's happening on game day. Yeah. Carrie's going to be joining me. I got to tell

00:13:47.400 you, Steve, last night it was intense. This place was way beyond fire capacity limits. It was packed.

00:13:53.560 Conservatives are fired up in Arizona. They're going to be showing up all day today. And we'll be with

00:13:57.600 Carrie all night tonight, uh, following the, the outcome of the elections. Obviously we'll be watching all

00:14:01.420 the other races closely as well. Arizona is the bellwether for the rest of the country.

00:14:06.380 If MAGA wins in Arizona, MAGA wins across the country. Yeah, no, it's a, it's the railhead of

00:14:12.420 the MAGA movement. Ben Burkwam, give us your, how do people follow you throughout the day, sir?

00:14:17.200 You're going to be back to the next hour. How do they follow you throughout the day?

00:14:21.400 Real America's voice, americasvoice.news. If you don't have the app, you are behind, get it on your

00:14:25.760 phone and then you can follow me frontlineamerica.com or at Ben Burkwam on getter on all the social

00:14:31.280 media. Okay. See you in a little while, Ben. Thanks. Thanks for the reporting. Yes, sir.

00:14:35.820 Okay. Short commercial break. We're going to talk, we got Taiwan, we got geopolitics,

00:14:39.920 we got capital markets, but I got to bring in brother Cortez when we come back. I can hear his

00:14:44.380 teeth just, you know, he's had to, I forced him to sit through the whole thing. Short break.

00:14:51.480 Cortez, Harnwell, Bannon in the war room.

00:14:53.700 You know what's never good? When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely

00:15:05.880 misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation. Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen

00:15:12.080 has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy

00:15:17.280 that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy

00:15:22.320 badly that I didn't at the time fully understand. End quote. You know who understands the real

00:15:30.180 threat of inflation? People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group. They're protecting

00:16:25.100 War Room Pandemic with Stephen K. Bannon. The epidemic is a demon and we cannot let this demon

00:16:31.880 hide. War Room Pandemic. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:16:37.220 Okay, Walmart canceled. Mike Lindell, but we did. MyPilla.com promo code War Room on today of all

00:16:45.080 days. Lindell's going to be with us here at six o'clock. We're doing an entire one-hour special

00:16:49.600 just on Arizona. How we got here, what happened that night, all about Fox News, calling it early,

00:16:56.140 get into all of it, the demographics, the polling, all of it before the counting actually starts.

00:17:02.160 Peter Navarro's going to be here at five, also going to be, have Ben Burkram and People Live.

00:17:06.880 We're all over Arizona today, but the other races are very important. And by the way,

00:17:10.960 I just wanted to do a pressure test. We just stress test. You know, Cortez, they have stress test

00:17:16.260 in the financial system. We just gave a stress test to the War Room Posse. And with 60 seconds left,

00:17:23.840 we had to wave off. They couldn't take any more. The stress was too much of too much MSNBC and morning,

00:17:30.080 sanctimonious, airhead, morning Joe. By the way, MSNBC, when are you going to start calling it

00:17:35.840 morning Mika? It's morning Mika. She carries the load. She's the star. Do you pay her as much as

00:17:42.280 you pay Scarborough? Do you pay her more? It's morning Mika. It's outrageous. It's so massaged. 0.99

00:17:48.960 It's morning Joe. Forget it. That guy, he's a load. She's carrying a heavy load every day. He's

00:17:53.760 sitting there pontificating. Back in the old days, he talks about this all the time. I think he won

00:17:57.380 two terms as a congressman before he had a certain issue down at his staff office and had to go spend

00:18:03.220 more time with his family. But I think he's a congressman for like one term, right? And every time

00:18:07.580 he harkens back, yeah, I remember when I was in the House. Go ahead, Steve. Hey, you know, it's an

00:18:11.900 interesting point you make because as much as I can't stand her politics and her lies, Mika is a 10 1.00

00:18:17.340 times better broadcaster, okay, than is Joe Scarborough. And I think that's obvious to anyone who looks at it

00:18:23.020 with an objective eye. And speaking of being good at broadcasting, okay, there is no one better in

00:18:28.080 this current crop of political candidates than Carrie Lake, somebody who was a major broadcaster, 0.99

00:18:32.840 primetime broadcaster in one of the biggest metro areas of America for decades. And I think one of

00:18:37.460 the reasons, Steve, that corporate media has such particular derision, one of the reasons they just

00:18:42.440 cannot stand Carrie Lake is that they view her as an apostate. You know, much like I was talking about 1.00

00:18:47.820 yesterday, the way they view people like Blake Masters and John Gibbs because they went to Stanford,

00:18:52.060 because they worked in big tech. And the establishment folks assumed these are part of

00:18:56.660 our, these are folks who are part of our club. When they defect and go to America first, in the case 0.77

00:19:01.280 of Carrie Lake, when somebody who was at the highest levels of broadcasting, somebody who has incredible

00:19:05.640 skill on air, on camera, when she to them defects and goes to the America first movement, when she

00:19:12.040 becomes a patriotic populace, they literally can't take it. It makes their hair, but it makes them pull

00:19:17.640 their hair out. And because of that, they attack those people with particular vitriol. And we

00:19:23.240 certainly have seen that in this campaign season. Hopefully today, though, the people are going to

00:19:28.540 offer their payback to those ruling class elites and tell them, you no longer control this country.

00:19:33.460 This country has been sliding into oligarchy, but we are going to reverse that. We are going to

00:19:37.860 recapture and reclaim our republic. And part of that is electing these incredibly credentialed,

00:19:43.600 but also incredibly, incredibly principled, patriotic populace, people like Carrie Lake,

00:19:50.120 John Gibbs, Blake Masters, and others who are running for office today.

00:19:53.820 Now we've got, you got, you got Stanford grads, Harvard grads, you got Kobach running for AG,

00:19:58.340 you got, you've got combat veterans, you have a African American who walked away with so credentialed, 0.57

00:20:05.360 walked away from being potentially being CEO of Apple and Microsoft to go preach the word of the

00:20:10.600 living Christ in Japan. You've got a sheriff up in, up in Washington, the breadth and scale of MAGA.

00:20:19.360 So it's not, look, we got to win tonight. Don't get me wrong, but it's not just about tonight. It's

00:20:23.500 about the direction of this movement. People are coming on. And I said, this is beyond Trump. You

00:20:28.220 can't put all the pressure on president Trump. You can't, he can't carry the load for everybody.

00:20:31.840 And what I love is this show, this audience, people have stepped up at school boards,

00:20:37.040 the precinct committee, canvassing boards. It's, it's, it just absolutely amazing at the county

00:20:43.620 level, people running in these, in the house, you know, in the state legislatures, all of it.

00:20:48.800 And you see candidates running in Congress and there's primaries against the establishment. Look,

00:20:53.280 why is MSNBC, Steve Cortez rooting, rooting for Karl Rove and Mitch McConnell at Missouri?

00:21:01.320 Why are they rooting for the real estate and financial and banking elites in Arizona? Because

00:21:06.520 that's what it is. Robeson, and look, they're lovely people. The, the, Mr. Robeson is a, is a very

00:21:11.980 classy guy. Karen is good people. They're good people. It just, Hey, sometimes you get on the

00:21:16.800 wrong side of an issue. Right. And they are classic kind of limited government Republicans. We're not in

00:21:21.440 that era anymore. This is right. Arizona is more, it's beyond Trump. The MSNBC tries to, you know,

00:21:26.720 it's always orange man bad. This is far beyond president Trump. And he knows that we can't.

00:21:32.020 And the reason we're not giving it up is that we can't give it up. You see everything,

00:21:36.620 it's the fruit of the poison tree, right? Correct. The poison tree being the big steel.

00:21:43.220 Yes, sir. Go ahead. And Steve, what I wanted to say is I think there's a generational issue here

00:21:47.120 because I think people who are basically my age and up who really remember the 1980s, they believe

00:21:52.500 somehow that we're still in an era, a political era, like the 1980s, where we're arguing over

00:21:57.580 really things at the margins. Okay. We're arguing over marginal tax rates, that sort of thing. And

00:22:02.180 we had broad unanimity in this country on sort of foundational first things. You know, we all

00:22:07.100 believe that the Soviet union, for example, at that time was the existential threat to the United

00:22:11.180 States. We had broad agreement on the principles, the moral and ethical principles of Judeo-Christianity

00:22:17.140 that underpin American society. We are no longer in that era. Okay. And we need to realize

00:22:22.140 what time it is in America right now. We are facing down with literal Marxists on the other

00:22:28.160 side of the aisle. This is, again, this is no longer a polite disagreement among people who

00:22:32.500 share a broad consensus. That is not the reality of America in the 2020s. Unfortunately, a lot of

00:22:38.220 people who claim to be Republicans, who claim even to be conservatives, have that old school mindset

00:22:43.520 that is simply no longer applicable to today and to the problems of today and to the challenges

00:22:48.920 we face. You know, as I said, I really believe, and I don't think I'm exaggerating here, America is

00:22:53.860 sliding into oligarchy. In some respects, I think we're already there. If we don't arrest that dissent

00:23:00.440 quickly, if we don't reverse it, if we don't reclaim this republic, it will very soon be too late. So these

00:23:05.900 candidates know what time it is in America, and they realize the immediacy. And that's why, by the way,

00:23:11.500 this America First Coalition is broadening. And you're so right that Donald Trump clearly was the

00:23:15.480 indispensable man, right? He was the key leader. He was the one who achieved the breakthrough of

00:23:20.440 winning a presidential election when nobody thought he could. And he remains the leader of the America

00:23:24.500 First movement. But the patriotic populist movement is broadening incredibly. And as evidence of that,

00:23:29.260 let me tell you something that just hit the wire now. And I want to give a hat tip to Ryan Gerduski,

00:23:33.300 who's often on this show. He's great at analyzing polling. And he points out that in New York State,

00:23:38.740 in one of the bluest states in America, in New York State, Hispanic approved, disapproved, 1.00

00:23:43.500 as this is a Siena poll, today of Joe Biden, only 39% approved, 57% disapproved. 57% disapproved

00:23:53.060 of Joe Biden among Hispanics in New York State. Steve, that is hard evidence that the broadening

00:23:59.760 of this coalition continues, and that the political opportunity is vast for our movement. If we stay

00:24:05.180 focused, and if we pray and work, those are the two things I want everyone to do continually,

00:24:09.280 especially on days like today. But if we pray and work, we are going to persevere. We're going to

00:24:15.380 achieve. We're going to save this republic. A big part of it is today.

00:24:20.640 God, I'm so grateful that a guy that was captured by the Jesuits at Georgetown 0.99

00:24:25.360 is given the motto of the Benedictines, work and pray. Come on, baby. Cortez, not bad.

00:24:32.520 Amen. Hold it. Before I get, it is about showing up today. It is about delivering today. It is about

00:24:42.760 in every level, whether it's a school board, a poll watcher, this is participatory populism

00:24:48.440 and inclusive nationalism. That's why things are expanding. People see that they can come in here

00:24:54.080 and they can have an impact right away. This is a newly formed political movement. You know,

00:24:58.660 we're making it up as we go along. Everybody will tell you that. That's why for the audience,

00:25:02.660 if you get involved now at the precinct strategy, if you sign up to be part of a, you know,

00:25:07.700 Moms for Liberty or Moms for America, all these parental rights groups and get involved at your

00:25:11.260 school board level. If you get involved at any level, particularly the precinct committee,

00:25:15.080 you don't need to be a donor. You can be an owner. Get involved. Right now, you have not just a vote,

00:25:21.840 you have a voice, Steve Cortez. You know, that's such an important point. By the way,

00:25:25.240 Politico, relevant to this discussion, Politico published an article, which I think

00:25:28.380 meant to be a hit piece, as often happens with these liberal hit pieces. I read it and said,

00:25:33.280 wow, that's great news. And the article is about how the RNC, an organization which people like us

00:25:37.700 have often been very skeptical about, but about how the RNC is actually partnering with a lot of

00:25:43.280 grassroots organizations and people who have great problems with the accuracy of the 2020 election.

00:25:48.740 And of course, again, they meant this to be a hit piece. Oh, how dare the RNC even talk to these

00:25:52.780 people? And when I read it, I said, wow, that's to your point, Steve, that is participatory

00:25:57.180 democracy. That is something that we should be encouraging all over this country to have eyes

00:26:01.660 on the process, because I think the election process is still very imperfect. But the more

00:26:05.520 eyes we have on it, the better chance we have of honest results. Cortez, to tell you how good a

00:26:10.720 reader you are, deep reads of these things. As soon as I saw that it hit at six o'clock in the morning,

00:26:16.080 I contacted my good friend and lawyer, Cleta Mitchell, who's the star of that piece. And I said,

00:26:20.940 hey, they meant this to be a hit piece. Actually, I think that signal to the donors,

00:26:24.940 why are they working with the unwashed masses? You ought to cut them off the money. 1.00

00:26:29.580 Cleta's on at 11. She's on here at 11 to go through that exact article. No, because the

00:26:34.620 article is absolutely correct. They meant it as a hit piece. It shows you that the grassroots,

00:26:39.860 the RNC realizes, hey, we've got tremendous power right here. But Politico wrote that so that the

00:26:45.700 country club, Wall Street Republicans are going, oh, my God, now the contagion is spreading.

00:26:51.740 We're going to have to call the caller and cut off. Go ahead, sir.

00:26:55.700 It's analogous to when Joseph in the Bible, in the Old Testament said to his brothers,

00:27:00.060 you meant it for evil, but God meant it for good. Similar analogy here politically,

00:27:04.320 and I'm not trying to say that it's a biblical issue, but similar analogy. It absolutely offends

00:27:09.380 Politico, but it reaffirms us and it encourages us that, yes, this is the path forward and that

00:27:15.200 this groundswell, this grassroots movement continues to gain power. No one can get complacent,

00:27:20.340 that's for sure. A lot of the polls for America First candidates look great today,

00:27:23.800 but we can't rely on polling. We know that. We have to put, as you say, the shoulder to the wheel.

00:27:28.240 We have to hustle. We have to pray and work. This is a day for action. It's a really important day.

00:27:32.800 It's not the only day. It's not all that's gained or lost today, but it's a really important day for

00:27:37.460 the movement because we have some fantastic candidates who are going to change the shape of

00:27:41.340 state capitals, going to change the shape of the United States House and the United States Senate,

00:27:44.780 and then pave the way for what we can do in 2024, which is elect a true America First president.

00:27:50.520 I believe it's going to be Donald Trump again, but whether it's Trump or somebody else,

00:27:53.840 we need to pave the way this time because that was not the case, unfortunately, in 2016.

00:27:58.080 Yeah. Okay. We'll take a short break. We're going to come back and talk some economics. By the way,

00:28:01.540 the state legislatures, this is the day Rusty Bower's career comes in. There's so much happening at

00:28:05.700 so many levels in these states. Okay. Back with Cortez Ben-Harwa in a second.

00:28:10.860 We're taking down the CCP. Spread the word all through Hong Kong. We will fight till they're all

00:28:18.700 gone. We rejoice when there's no more. Let's take down the CCP. Are you feeling frustrated and 0.87

00:28:25.620 powerless in the face of sky-high inflation? Well, here's what you can do about it. Take a minute

00:28:30.920 and go to my website, preparewithbannon.com. That's preparewithbannon.com. You'll find what

00:28:37.800 I call inflation-fighting food. Now, what is that? This is a long-term storage food,

00:28:43.540 the kind that stays fresh for up to 25 years. Well, it's not only stays fresh, it stays affordable.

00:28:50.880 You see, at today's prices, this food works out to around $3 a meal per person. Let me repeat that,

00:28:56.900 $3 a meal per person. But years from now, when food prices are sky high, you'll be eating well for

00:29:03.640 only $3 a meal. In other words, you lock in affordable food for years to come. And right

00:29:09.540 now, you'll save $150 on a three-month emergency food kit when you go to preparewithbannon.com.

00:29:16.500 That's preparewithbannon.com. These three-month kits with my Patriot Supply are in stock and ship fast

00:29:25.080 with free shipping. This is an investment that will pay dividends for years to come.

00:29:30.540 Go to preparewithbannon.com right now. That's preparewithbannon.com. Take action. Do it today.

00:29:39.540 ...of the White House and CNN and the New York Times. They can prevaricate and engage in double

00:29:44.200 speak, pretending we're not in a recession. But the American people know better, and the numbers

00:29:48.220 say otherwise. Let's look at the data in a Chalk Talk brought to you by Getter. This is manufacturing

00:29:52.820 new orders. It is by definition forward-looking, very important data set. It just hit 49 and 48,

00:29:59.960 meaning below 50, contraction. That is a recession. Let's put this number in context. All-time high

00:30:05.660 was 71 back in 2003. Trump was elected with this number at 52. His economic program in the Trump boom

00:30:13.580 bought it all the way to 67. It then tanked into the lockdowns of 2020, not surprisingly. But then what

00:30:19.940 happened after that? Months later soared to another new record, the highest it had seen since 2003. A

00:30:27.080 great handoff to Joe Biden economically regarding manufacturing new orders. What did he do with

00:30:32.760 this inheritance? He squandered it. And right now, two months in a row in recessionary area for

00:30:39.340 manufacturing new orders. Joe Biden is crushing the American economy.

00:30:43.920 Okay. Cortez, walk us through that. The problem we have here is a real manufacturing and real economy

00:30:54.440 problem, not the happy talk they're talking about. And that's going to start coming through. And then

00:30:59.340 we got the China problem. So give us your analysis as you see it right now.

00:31:03.560 Right. And by the way, yeah, all of that is not even taking a look at all the risks from China, 0.95

00:31:08.060 which are immense. But just looking at the domestic economic situation here in the United States. And by the

00:31:12.580 way, I did a Chalk Talk today because last night I did a Getter live stream to preview today's

00:31:17.480 elections, got massive viewership. And one of the things I saw in a lot of the comments from folks

00:31:21.740 in the live stream was how much they love Chalk Talks and they want more. So I will try to increase

00:31:25.680 the pace of these. But what I wanted to show here is that this economy is faltering at every level.

00:31:31.740 And what I mean by that, yesterday, for example, we showed how badly small businesses do it. We know

00:31:35.860 that the consumer is more pessimistic than they have ever been in all of American history. And in a

00:31:41.260 survey that goes back to the 1950s. But manufacturing generally is large firms. There's not a lot of

00:31:47.120 tiny manufacturers. Unfortunately, we'd like to change that in America. But manufacturing,

00:31:51.060 which I was talking about in that Chalk Talk, that generally is medium size to large firms in the

00:31:55.860 United States. So at all levels, unfortunately, the American economy stumbles and particularly regarding

00:32:01.380 new orders, because new orders by definition is forward looking. And yeah, by the way, there we see it

00:32:07.160 in chart form what I was just talking about. That's going back one year. So this is the ISM

00:32:12.020 new orders index for manufacturing. It just came out yesterday. And if you look at that trend,

00:32:17.900 it is unfortunately demonstrably from the upper left to the lower right, like almost any economic

00:32:23.240 gauge that we look at for Joe Biden right now. So here's, I think, the important takeaway. You know,

00:32:27.700 yesterday we talked about Paul Krugman, who's really an economic fool, despite his Nobel Prize, 0.91

00:32:32.860 who went on CNN and tried to spin a lie that, number one, we're not in a recession. Number two, 0.92

00:32:37.160 if we are, it doesn't matter. And number three, all the people I talk to say things are just fine.

00:32:42.300 Now, I don't know who he is talking to, but the macro reality tells us otherwise. I think certainly

00:32:47.000 anyone of any common sense knows, even from the micro, from their conversations with people,

00:32:50.960 just how stressed and worried people are. And here's the even worse reality, Steve. When we look at

00:32:56.180 new orders, that tells us that we're not near the bottom. That tells us that things are going to get

00:33:00.820 worse. That this economy, the dissent is intensifying, unfortunately. So things are

00:33:06.600 not going to get better. And I hope that that doesn't just depress people, though, because I

00:33:09.720 don't say it to depress people. I say it to prepare them and to give the deplorables out there a sense

00:33:14.520 of urgency. That things are dire. Things are worsening. It's not my opinion. That is what the

00:33:19.800 economic trends tell us. You know, and again, though, we have agency. We can take action. We have an

00:33:25.800 ability, thankfully, with these elections to dramatically reverse this dissent of the American

00:33:31.500 economy and a dissent of America in many ways. But economically is where I'm focused right now.

00:33:36.220 And again, it's the cold reality, no matter what the mainstream media tries to spin as narrative,

00:33:42.680 no matter what the Dems say, no matter what the White House says, we are in a recession.

00:33:46.520 It is a deep recession. And it can get far worse if we don't start taking immediate policy action.

00:33:51.860 That's what I want to talk about, because I want to tie the action to what we're seeing

00:33:58.000 underneath it. Because in the last, you know, last week and within 24 hours, you had the $400

00:34:03.740 billion they tried to add to the burn pit legislation of Jon Stewart. And we support the Jon Stewart

00:34:09.480 burn pit part of it. But playing the games to put the, so $400 billion there, you had $300, what,

00:34:15.520 $50 billion on the, which only $50 billion went to the chips thing. You had another $250 or $300 billion

00:34:21.060 added of corporate giveaways. And then the real spending, besides all the nonsense talking about,

00:34:27.400 the real spending, they're talking about, I don't know, $600, $700 billion on the mini build back

00:34:34.540 better, right? The spending orgy. Right. That's roughly, pick your number, because the accounting's

00:34:40.440 so bad. It's $1.1 million to $1.3 trillion. Trillion. Because they understand they're getting

00:34:50.760 thrown out of office. And the Republican collaboration is kind of going along with

00:34:53.940 them. Right. This is an orgy. It is, you know, you have negligence, gross negligence,

00:35:00.280 and recklessness, standard of care. This is gross recklessness. These people don't care about

00:35:05.140 anything. So, Cortez, given policies you've seen, and quite frankly, the Fed thing's a love tap.

00:35:10.260 That's just a tap, 75 basis. It's a tap. Real interest rates. Brat and I did it a month ago.

00:35:16.060 Real interest rates should be 7.5% to choke this down. It's love taps. Given the policy you're

00:35:22.820 seeing, given the collapse you're seeing, and tying it to what's happening in China,

00:35:26.880 the real economy in China, give us, walk us through how you think this is headed right now.

00:35:31.720 Right. Well, no, listen, right now, the trajectory is for a recession so deep that it would borderline

00:35:38.700 be a depression. I think that is the reality right now. You know, as I've been saying for months,

00:35:42.080 I don't think it's debatable whether or not we're in a recession. I think the real debate is,

00:35:46.040 is it going to tip all the way into depression, which I think is absolutely possible. Now,

00:35:49.900 I think it's also preventable. Again, I'm not just being Dr. Doom here. I do think it's preventable.

00:35:54.300 And I think that these elections, you know, today is a big day in that effort to try to stop the

00:35:59.220 bleeding to apply a political and policy and economic tourniquet to the bleeding of America

00:36:04.260 that has been caused by Joe Biden. And you're right, by collaborationist Republicans. And let

00:36:08.440 me get specific on that point, because this is very relevant to elections today. Peter Meyer is the

00:36:13.520 incumbent so-called Republican representative from the third district in Michigan running against

00:36:18.120 John Gibbs. Peter Meyer voted for the atrocity, the mammoth behemoth $1.5 trillion omnibus package.

00:36:27.040 Okay. And he joined dozens of other House Republicans, unfortunately, who voted for that.

00:36:31.500 He voted for the $40 billion additional aid package to Ukraine that we didn't, money we did not have,

00:36:37.480 that we borrowed to send to escalate a war in which we don't have a U.S. national interest.

00:36:41.920 He is a collaborator. He owns part of the Biden inflation explosion. Mitch McConnell owns part of

00:36:47.840 it. I would argue Kevin McCarthy owns part of it as well, having voted for the Ukraine situation.

00:36:52.440 So here's the point. The minority has incredible power if they choose to harness it, particularly 0.97

00:36:58.100 in the Senate, where the minority is literally mathematically as big as it can be. The minority

00:37:02.480 is 50. If the minority is so emboldened, it can stop this madness. And I do believe,

00:37:09.460 thankfully, here's the good news. The terrible news is we've had way too many collaborators.

00:37:13.460 But the good news is, particularly looking at the Senate, I think this new crop of candidates who I

00:37:18.460 believe are going to win and going to be true America first senators, they are going to change

00:37:23.200 the complexion of the entire Senate. I'm talking about people like J.D. Vance and Blake Masters

00:37:27.160 and Adam Laxalt and Katie Britt. I think that this new class, many of them young, many of them

00:37:32.340 outsiders coming from outside of the world of politics, they are going to change the dynamics

00:37:36.100 of that entire chamber of that body because you don't need 51 senators. It would be great if we had

00:37:40.840 that many America first winners, but you don't need that many. You need to commit a group of five to 10.

00:37:45.640 They're going to join some of the folks like Hawley who are already there and already have guts

00:37:49.660 and brains. And when they join together, there's going to be an America first caucus that is going

00:37:53.900 to transform that body. And that is the beginning, at least, of healing this economic crisis that has

00:38:00.020 been inflicted upon America. And again, it's not my opinion that that's going on. It's the opinion,

00:38:05.040 number one, of millions and millions of American people. But number two, it's what the economic

00:38:09.600 numbers show us. OK, the data doesn't lie. The numbers don't lie. When we look at

00:38:15.340 new orders for manufacturing, it's an absolute freefall. It's in contractionary area of that

00:38:22.320 index. Again, it's a diffusion index meeting above 50 is expansion. Below 50 is contraction. We now

00:38:27.880 have, as of yesterday, two months in a row of contraction. So the future is foreboding. OK,

00:38:33.780 but I would also say this. But the power is yours. Deplorables, let's get out there and claim it.

00:38:38.420 I want to go to. Do I have Harnwell up? Ben, Tom Friedman, because part of this,

00:38:44.760 you've got to link it to the debacle in Ukraine of where we're pouring money into. And now the

00:38:49.300 Russians are blowing back. And, you know, with the this is not started, initiated or meaningful 1.00

00:38:55.680 what the debacle is about Russia and the Ukraine. But Russia and Ukraine certainly have an element

00:39:00.300 and exacerbating it. Tom Friedman, the single biggest cheerleader, wrote a column today

00:39:06.240 criticizing Nancy Pelosi, said it was irrational, radical, stupid about her going to Taiwan because 0.99

00:39:12.200 Friedman has been an apologist for the CCP from time immemorial. In fact, I'll tell you about 0.99

00:39:16.940 afterwards the the head of conference and I was Andrew R. Sorkin and Friedman. I was there with Eric

00:39:22.680 Schmidt to the Eric Schmidt of of Google debating the Chinese Communist Party. And Friedman ended up

00:39:30.400 agreeing with me at the end of it, going to full out war with them, which you had to. He's got a

00:39:36.520 column about Taiwan, but his pivot, he says the reason we got to do is not going to do Taiwan.

00:39:42.240 We got to focus on Ukraine because Russia is everything. We must take it down. And then he's 1.00

00:39:46.280 got the buried lead, which we have been telling this audience and Conservative Inc. and the Fox

00:39:52.640 News people from day one. Ben Harnwell, what did Tom Friedman say in his column, in his words, sir?

00:40:01.100 I'll go straight to the buried lead. Good morning, Steve. The timing could not be worse. Dear reader,

00:40:06.480 the Ukraine war is not over. And privately, U.S. officials are a lot more concerned about Ukraine's

00:40:13.700 leadership than they are letting on. There is a deep mistrust between the White House and Ukraine

00:40:20.980 President Vladimir Zelensky. Considerably more than has been reported. And the next paragraph gives

00:40:28.340 an indication of what that mistrust might be based on to do with the sackings of the head of their

00:40:34.240 intelligence agency and the firing of the Ukraine's prosecutor general, which, of course, we did cover

00:40:41.780 on the war room. But Friedman goes on and says that he's not seen any major media coverage of that.

00:40:50.340 He needs to be watching the war room. We explain everything, Steve.

00:40:53.380 Well, of course. So, Cortez, give me your assessment. You got Tom Friedman there, the biggest one,

00:40:59.360 the biggest guys with the pom poms out for Zelensky saying the quiet part out loud. The guy's a con artist. 0.98

00:41:05.780 The oligarchs around him are dirty. Biden's regime understand they got a massive problem. And, 1.00

00:41:12.500 you know, Jonathan Swan had that guy up at Davos and he's lecturing us, oh, people that don't support

00:41:18.380 us in the United States should read the memoirs of World War II. As I've said, I've forgotten more

00:41:22.000 about World War II, the knowledge of, than he ever, the actor ever knows. He should start reading the

00:41:26.620 best and the brightest about a guy named President Diem, okay? When democratic administrations are done

00:41:32.420 with you, they're done with you, right? Once they've used you, they move on, bro. So, don't

00:41:36.920 take it from me. Read the great David Halperstam. The guy's name's President Diem, right, in Vietnam.

00:41:44.260 Cortez, give me your assessment. Well, in his case, Diem, he ended up dead, right? Not just out of power,

00:41:49.620 but dead. Listen, here's, I think, the takeaway from this story, which is very important. You're

00:41:54.240 exactly right. This is the first salvo, I think, of the White House starting to turn on Zelensky,

00:41:58.700 because even this Biden White House, as corrupt and inept as they are, they are even realizing, 0.99

00:42:04.300 holy cow, we have bet a fortune on a horse that has totally corrupted himself, that is incompetent, 1.00

00:42:10.780 that is an egomaniac. That is the reality of who Zelensky is. And I know that's unpopular in a lot 0.99

00:42:15.220 of circles to say right now, but too bad. It's the truth. And even the Biden White House clearly is

00:42:20.520 waking up to that. This was clearly a planted story with their friend, with their stenographer,

00:42:25.480 Friedman, to start floating the idea that, hey, Zelensky shouldn't have a halo around his head,

00:42:30.620 okay? He is no saint. He is certainly no ally of the United States. He's an ally of Zelensky, 0.61

00:42:35.460 okay? And he's an ally of the oligarchs of Ukraine, because Ukraine has oligarchs who are every bit as

00:42:41.100 dirty as the oligarchs of Russia. And by the way, if those oligarchs, and if those terrible leaders,

00:42:46.000 and Zelensky and Putin are both terrible leaders, if they want to have a regional fight,

00:42:49.580 have at it, because it has nothing to do with the United States. If we would simply stay out of it,

00:42:54.440 it would be a regional battle. We can be involved from a diplomatic standpoint, sure,

00:42:58.300 from a humanitarian standpoint of trying to achieve peace. But if we would stay out of it

00:43:01.920 from a financial and strategic standpoint, that regional fight would be settled among the gangs.

00:43:07.260 And that's what it is. It's effectively a fight of gangs. You know who suffers the most, by the way,

00:43:10.820 are the people of Ukraine. Ukrainian people suffer the most from what Zelensky is doing,

00:43:16.000 okay? That is the reality.

00:43:17.180 Okay, short break. Harnwell, Cortez is going to stick with us. And then at the top of the hour,

00:43:25.520 we got Cleta Mitchell. We have Christine Caramo. We're going to get into voter fraud and what's

00:43:30.800 being done about it next in the world.

00:43:32.380 With the recent rulings from the Supreme Court, it's worth mentioning that these wins didn't happen

00:43:43.860 on their own. It took the support of companies like Patriot Mobile, who have passionately fought

00:43:48.980 on behalf of the unborn in your constitutional rights. Patriot Mobile is America's only Christian, 0.89

00:43:55.300 conservative mobile phone provider. They have been on the front lines fighting for your values.

00:44:00.260 This is why Patriot Mobile is different from every other provider out there. Inflation has made it

00:44:06.660 really hard on many Americans. Thankfully, Patriot Mobile has plans for almost any budget,

00:44:11.380 and they offer the same nationwide coverage as all the major carriers. So you get the same great

00:44:17.300 service plus the knowledge that your money is going to a company fighting for the sanctity of life,

00:44:24.240 religious freedom, and your Second Amendment. Go to patriotmobile.com. That's all one word,

00:44:30.260 patriotmobile.com. Or call 972-PATRIOT. That's 972-P-A-T-R-I-O-T. 972-PATRIOT. Use the offer code

00:44:43.120 BANNON, B-A-N-N-O-N, to get the free activation. If you're a veteran or first responder, please let

00:44:49.480 them know because they have special discounts for you. Come join our movement and make the switch

00:44:54.960 today, patriotmobile.com. That's patriotmobile.com. Or call 972-PATRIOT. Support this company that supports

00:45:07.000 your values. Do this today. Action, action, action.

00:45:12.880 Getter has arrived. The new social media taking on big tech, protecting free speech,

00:45:27.060 arrived. Superior technology. No more selling your personal data. No more censorship. No more cancel

00:45:34.220 culture. Enough. Getter has arrived. It's time to say what you want, the way you want. Download now.

00:45:43.880 Okay, mypillow.com. Promo code WARROOM. He got canceled at Walmart among big box, but he didn't

00:45:49.320 get canceled in the war room. Mypillow.com. Promo code WARROOM. Sheets, 39 bucks. The classic

00:45:54.720 pillow, $19.80. You can't get these at Walmart. I think it's the biggest, most sophisticated,

00:46:00.800 maybe not sophisticated, biggest store in the world with a wide range of products. They ain't got

00:46:06.860 mypillow. You can only get it here. Mypillow.com. Promo code WARROOM. Cortez, Nancy Pelosi. Looks like she 1.00

00:46:12.480 may have just landed, and she just landed in Taiwan. Did not get shot down out of the sky,

00:46:16.940 so we'll have to see how that story develops. Walk me through. So, by the way, he shut down all

00:46:22.520 the opposition TV stations. He shut down the opposition party. Not even the opposition TV

00:46:27.260 station. Anything that wasn't a government TV station, he shut down. Shut down the opposition

00:46:31.000 parties. This is the Democrat Zelensky. He, and then the article, Freeman says, hey, he fired,

00:46:37.700 essentially Merrick Garland and the head of the CIA on the same day. He's accused his ambassadors,

00:46:42.620 everything, of being spies. But he was on the cover of Vogue, giving the full blue steel,

00:46:49.020 Zoolander, going full Zoolander. And of course, even the people that love him thought he jumped

00:46:56.720 the shark. What say you, sir? Yes. Listen, the reality is that Zelensky is a lot more like Putin. He's a lot

00:47:03.360 more like an autocrat like Putin than a lot of Americans on the left want to believe, and even 0.97

00:47:07.860 some fools on the right, people who at least claim to be on the right who are in the Republican 0.97

00:47:11.880 establishment. You know, you're right. Imagine in the United States, if on the same day the 0.99

00:47:15.920 president fired the attorney general and the head of CIA, imagine the media storm that would be,

00:47:20.860 what an amazingly consequential story that would be. Even if it's warranted, it would be an absolute

00:47:25.560 media firestorm. No such firestorm unfolded in Ukraine. Why? Because they have no free media, 0.91

00:47:32.800 because he dispatched with it. That's the reality. Now, to connect this back to today and to U.S.

00:47:37.820 elections, what's going on in Ukraine, because Biden has chosen, Biden and NATO have chosen to

00:47:42.540 escalate that war, because they are funding both sides of that war and have turned it into an

00:47:46.300 international crisis rather than a regional one, it is exacerbating the existing, the pre-existing

00:47:51.420 inflation crisis that Biden caused here at home. That inflation right now is far and away the number

00:47:56.680 one issue on voters' minds who are going to the polls today. Not my opinion. That's what polling

00:48:00.680 tells us. And Steve, I'm stealing this from you because you actually posted it on your social

00:48:03.980 media. But this is from Axios. They asked, most important issue. 74% said inflation, a very

00:48:11.220 important issue. 74%. 17 percentage points more than any other issue. Inflation is far and away the

00:48:19.780 number one issue that voters care about. And that very inflation is being exacerbated by our needless

00:48:25.960 intervention and escalation in this Ukraine crisis.

00:48:29.260 Don't bury the lead. Down there, 46% of American voters believe deficits. They never talk about

00:48:37.660 deficits. They never talk about only war room. 46%. The American people are awakening and they're

00:48:43.360 connecting deficits to inflation. 46% say it's their top issue. It's normally like 6% or 3%.

00:48:50.500 46%. We'll get to more of that later. Harnwell, Zelensky, the buried lead of Tom Freeman. By the

00:48:57.060 way, ladies and gentlemen, understand that's called a trial balloon or running it up the flagpole. They

00:49:01.540 put it into a prominent, they leak it into a prominent columnist that goes throughout the globe.

00:49:06.280 And all of a sudden, the chattering classes start talking about it. Those in the know start talking

00:49:09.660 about it. They're going to see if anybody salutes. You're going to see a lot less. Zelensky's the

00:49:13.560 greatest in the days, in the weeks ahead. And I want to thank the war room contributors and

00:49:18.680 correspondents, particularly our own Ben Harnwell in Rome. Tell us about your other boy Draghi. He 1.00

00:49:23.600 got the treatment today in CNBC. He did. A great puff piece for him, but it won't do him any good.

00:49:31.060 His reputation is in shreds. Let's not forget Steve, because these two things are, to use

00:49:36.620 a Bannonite phraseology, they are inextricably linked. The fall of the Draghi prime ministership

00:49:43.320 and the distancing that we are seeing now from Western governments. If I have time, perhaps a

00:49:53.000 little late in the second hour, I might come back and talk about what's going on in Germany, because

00:49:57.480 these things are all linked. So when Draghi resigned, the war room posse, you will remember, I said this,

00:50:05.320 the fall of this government, of this prime minister, is now the turning point. You are now going to see

00:50:11.240 governments distancing themselves from Draghi, from President Zelensky, because as much as they're in

00:50:18.760 on the grift, the thing that the politician absolutely has to put first and centre is their

00:50:25.540 re-electability. And what you call, Steve, the double shotgun of unaffordable food and unaffordable fuel

00:50:34.200 that are going to kick in in the autumn. These are like the little boy and fat man, they're going to

00:50:39.100 drop on Democrats' chances in November of maintaining the house. And that's the reality.

00:50:47.340 And that is why we see this kite being lifted in the Thomas Friedman column, because even as I said

00:50:55.660 yesterday, even an administration as socially autistic, as blind and deaf to reality as the Biden 0.65

00:51:02.620 administration realises the disaster and chaos it has caused and is now, in what months remain,

00:51:09.180 it's trying desperately to claw back a little bit of sympathy and comfort for the American people. 0.98

00:51:16.780 Because the American people, as Steve Cortez was just saying, they're not stupid. They know the 0.96

00:51:21.420 economic reality as much as the pom-pom cheerleaders are trying to create a fake reality in the media. 0.96

00:51:26.780 I love sliding in the reference to the nuclear weapons we dropped to end World War II. Ben,

00:51:33.100 you're going to come back in the second hour. I definitely want to go through Germany. A lot

00:51:35.820 happening there. Cortez, what is your social media so people can get you? Are you going to be doing

00:51:40.220 live streams tonight on the election coverage? Not tonight. I will not be. But I am going to be

00:51:46.060 posting a lot on my social media. Please follow me on Getter. I'm at Steve. You can also check out

00:51:49.980 the chalk talk that we showed. And please share that around. If any of your friends try to fool

00:51:54.940 you, try to buy the mainstream media narrative that the economy is actually fine, show them the

00:51:59.340 numbers in that chalk talk. Find me at Steve. I'm also on Twitter at Cortez Steve, Cortez with an S.

00:52:05.580 Thank you. And Ben, we'll see you in the second hour. Ben Harnwell, Steve Cortez. We've got a lot

00:52:08.940 more to go in. International economics are going to affect your life, particularly in Germany. Next hour,

00:52:15.020 here's what we're going to do. People are on watch on The Big Steel. We've got Christine Caramo

00:52:20.620 from the state of Michigan and Cleta Mitchell. The Politico hit piece this morning actually was a

00:52:25.740 paid advertisement for the great Cleta Mitchell. Both of them join us after a short commercial break.
