00:00:00.000 And we saw arrive at the Manhattan district attorney's office to surrender himself just a
00:00:04.920 little after 9 a.m. this morning. As he was leaving his SUV, he shook his lawyer's hands
00:00:10.240 and then he turned to the crowd of cameras there saying, among other things, this is all about 60
00:00:15.560 days to the day, referencing the midterm election, suggesting that this prosecution is politically
00:00:20.700 motivated. So now that Bannon is in custody, he will be arrested and go through the motions. He
00:00:25.760 will then appear in court this afternoon around 2.15 to be arraigned on these state charges.
00:00:32.080 We're expecting the Manhattan district attorney and the New York attorney general to hold a joint
00:00:36.760 press conference around 1 p.m. Eastern time. Likely then we will see what these actual charges are.
00:00:42.840 The indictment will be on. They put Peter Navarro in leg irons for simply doing his constitutional duty.
00:00:49.120 Now they want to put Peter in prison for standing up for Donald Trump. Please go to Amazon right now
00:00:54.580 and order Taking Back Trump's America to help fund Peter's legal defense. Taking Back Trump's
00:01:00.220 America provides a critical MAGA blueprint to put Trump back in the White House in 2024
00:01:05.200 by Taking Back Trump's America on Amazon today. If they can put Peter Navarro in prison,
00:01:11.480 they can come for all of us.
00:01:15.760 Peter K. Navarro in for Stephen K. Bannon and you know why I'm here. I'm not happy about it. Not
00:01:22.380 because I don't love you posse folks. It's because of what's happening yet again to a top Trump guy
00:01:30.800 in Stephen K. Bannon. And how much is enough folks out there before we have a political uprising the
00:01:42.740 likes of which you've never seen. Peaceful at the ballot box. Posse, look at this through the arc of
00:01:50.820 history. They're putting me in leg irons. They're raiding panty raids at Mar-a-Lago. Go back to 2016.
00:02:00.160 They took out Mike Flynn. Manafort in prison. Papadopoulos in prison. Roger Stone with a frogman raid.
00:02:09.020 The New York authorities going after Trump's tax stuff. Ad infinitum. This is nothing but lawfare.
00:02:18.360 Lawfare. It's the obscene misuse of our legal system to persecute and prosecute political individuals
00:02:32.260 that they hope to make literally political prisoners. This cannot stand. Now, if you're as
00:02:40.880 mad as I am, there's only one thing to do. The canon of Bannon. Action, action, action. And the actions
00:02:52.520 that I'm asking you to do today is signal not noise. I want you to focus like a laser beam
00:03:00.740 on these November elections, Posse. I want you to figure out today, if you're not doing this already,
00:03:09.360 who you can support in a congressional race, a Republican in a congressional race that will help
00:03:17.180 help us get back the speaker's gavel from Nancy Pelosi and take back the weaponization unconstitutionally 1.00
00:03:27.340 of the investigatory powers of Congress. What they're doing is just flat out wrong. We need to stop
00:03:36.320 that right now. And once we get the speaker's gavel, come January, the tables turn. Those investigatory
00:03:49.740 powers will be used constitutionally, fairly, correctly, to find out just what the hell is going
00:03:59.640 on in the rest of this government. The Department of Justice, the FBI, the White House, the National
00:04:07.280 Archives. This is what's important. So find out today who you can help support with time and money.
00:04:15.640 And by the way, everyone in the war room needs to figure out whether they want to help Carrie Lake
00:04:23.400 in Arizona and Blake Masters for Senate. Tudor Dixon for governor in Michigan and Christina Corralo, 0.99
00:04:32.920 Secretary of State. Don't forget Fincham in Arizona for Secretary of State. Doug Mastriano
00:04:39.300 for governor in Pennsylvania and Oz for Senate. This whole, look, whatever you think about Oz,
00:04:50.660 right? He's Trump backed. And the guy running against him, Fetterman is, is, is the worst kind
00:04:59.480 of woke progressive masquerading like Joe Biden as some kind of blue collar mega type. No, no, no,
00:05:07.820 no, no, no. We can't buy that. So it's action, action, action. That's what I'm asking you to do
00:05:13.220 today. Stephen K. Bannon is yet again in the barrel. Why? Because he's got the number one
00:05:21.280 political show and podcast in the world. The Democrats rightly fear him. They want to take
00:05:29.100 him out. Simple as that. Let's go now to the economy. And brother Steve Cortez, first thing I'm
00:05:39.840 going to do with you, Steve, before you say anything is I'm going to take a figurative scissors
00:05:45.020 and figuratively cut that tie off about, about mid chest before you start, man. You're, you're like
00:05:51.880 freaking me out here, man. What is this? It's like, you're not on newsbacks anymore. Come on, brother.
00:05:57.540 You're in the water room. It's not pushed all the way up. How about that? Come on, come on,
00:06:01.460 come into my world. All right. What are we talking about today? The stock market and the bond market
00:06:08.100 have been down simultaneously, which signals stagflation. The latest data coming in, walk us
00:06:14.120 through Steve Cortez land, the latest read on the economy. Yeah, happy to. But Peter, just briefly,
00:06:20.500 before I get to the economy, which is critical and which Joe Biden has made a mess of, of course,
00:06:24.580 in this country, I do just want to say what is happening to you, what has happened to Steve Bannon
00:06:28.560 with this prosecutorial abuse, this weaponization of law enforcement against political opponents,
00:06:33.560 it is unconscionable. And both you and Steve are brave patriots. You are political warriors.
00:06:39.820 And we're not going to hear either one of you griping. Neither one of you is going to wallow
00:06:42.840 in sorrow and say, woe is me. But it is totally unjust what is being done to you. And regarding
00:06:47.820 what's happening to Steve Bannon today, it is no coincidence that this happened two years ago,
00:06:52.340 right before the 2020 election, to try to neutralize him as the most, other than Donald Trump,
00:06:57.680 the most effective spokesman and architect of the America First movement. It's no coincidence
00:07:02.180 it's happening now, right in front of the midterms. This must stop. We cannot have
00:07:06.080 political operatives, people like Steve Bannon arrested every two years before the midterms.
00:07:11.160 This is banana republic crap. Now, speaking of banana republic, unfortunately, economically,
00:07:16.420 our country is headed that way. And I'm not exaggerating. When you look at the totality of
00:07:21.780 the data and the metrics that show the incredible economic anxiety and angst in the country right now,
00:07:27.100 particularly among middle and lower income folks. And what I'd like to point you to today,
00:07:30.800 Peter, because I think this is important. I like to give these company updates. And when I do this,
00:07:34.540 by the way, I have no opinion on these companies. And I'm not saying this stock is a buy or a sell,
00:07:38.880 but I'm saying these companies are reflective of a much larger truth that is out there. And that is
00:07:43.760 that the consumer is absolutely floundering right now. So Newell, NWL is the ticker. If we can pull up
00:07:49.940 chart number one, please. And that's the headline from the Wall Street Journal about Newell brand says
00:07:55.040 retailers are cutting consumer goods orders. And if we can go to chart one, please, and show no,
00:08:00.780 that's that's chart two, folks, that we can show chart number one, we'll get to that one in a
00:08:03.880 second. Don't don't tease it out yet. There we go. Chart number one, that is Newell brands and WL is
00:08:09.560 the ticker. You might not know this name Newell, but you know, their products, a lot of kitchen products,
00:08:13.620 a lot of outdoor living kind of stuff. So they own, for example, Mr. Coffee, Sunbeam, Coleman coolers,
00:08:19.300 Calphalon. They also own Sharpie markers, which Peter Navarro uses to sign autographs,
00:08:24.560 which he does all day, every day. So they own a lot of brands in your life, particularly in your
00:08:29.240 kitchen. If you as you can see on that chart and WL, it is hit a as of yesterday, hit a new 2022 low.
00:08:37.240 And to give you an idea of just how bad the pain is for consumer facing companies like Newell from
00:08:43.000 the highs of 2022 in January to yesterday's low down 32%. Now minus 20% is a
00:08:49.280 bear market. So this is a bear market on steroids. And again, I'm not trying to pick on this company,
00:08:54.440 but I think this is the reality that we are seeing across the board. Let me read you a quote
00:08:58.260 from the CEO of Newell. This is what he said, quote, we have experienced a significantly greater
00:09:04.340 than expected pullback in retailer orders and continued inflationary pressures on the consumer,
00:09:12.280 continued inflationary pressures on the consumer. So Peter, as you know better than anybody,
00:09:18.260 because of your economic expertise, this inflation is so persistent. It's so severe and intense
00:09:25.140 that consumers simply cannot handle it. We also got out yesterday, Peter, for the first time.
00:09:30.960 Let me just, I'm going to let you continue with your charts. I just want to make one point and have you
00:09:37.820 reflect on this. I was stunned at one level when the latest trade deficit data came in, which showed
00:09:48.560 that our trade deficit actually declined. And when we were in the Trump administration, we loved to have
00:09:55.920 that happen. We were able to engineer that because of our tariff policy and this, that, and the other
00:09:59.780 thing. And then it's like, I read below the fold there and why that's happening. And it speaks directly
00:10:06.280 to your point. It's like consumers are so strapped that they're, when they're not buying stuff from
00:10:13.120 Newell and others, a lot of that stuff is imported stuff. So that's another sign that the consumer is
00:10:20.960 in deep trouble if our trade deficit is going down counterintuitively. Anyway, back to you, sir.
00:10:25.820 No, it's an excellent point. Look, we want the trade deficit to go down with demand staying high,
00:10:30.500 right? Meaning that Americans are choosing to buy American-made products and that they have the
00:10:34.580 option to buy American-made products. In this case, the trade deficit went down for the wrong reasons.
00:10:39.860 You're exactly correct. It's because of consumer retrenchment, because for now that most of the
00:10:44.520 sourcing for the consumer is still overseas. We need to change that. That has to be a primary
00:10:48.820 objective of the second Trump term. And we will get to that. But for the time being,
00:10:53.000 the consumer remains incredibly imperiled. Now, let's look at the consumer in light of housing,
00:10:58.600 okay? Because I think this is also incredibly important. Redfin, the realty company, they put
00:11:03.060 out a lot of very good data. And they put out some data just yesterday that I think is very telling
00:11:07.300 of the situation in the country. And this data relates to first-time homebuyers. So now,
00:11:11.940 excuse me, not first-time homebuyers, homebuyers, just refers to homebuyers. If we can pull up
00:11:15.940 chart number two right now, please. Okay. So these are the trends from 2019 pre-pandemic
00:11:21.080 to right now. And by the way, this is for homebuyers. So you have already sort of self-selected
00:11:26.480 a group of people which are generally more successful. People who are buying homes,
00:11:30.740 particularly given home prices today, in general, have higher incomes, are doing better,
00:11:35.000 have been able to save to afford a down payment. So this is already a group that is doing relatively
00:11:40.080 well compared to middle and lower income folks. But among homebuyers, okay, incomes have grown
00:11:45.000 as that table shows. Incomes have grown almost 7% since 2019. At the same time, median home prices
00:11:53.920 have grown 29%. That is the reality right now. And this is nationwide data from Redfin. So your income
00:12:01.940 has grown since 2019. That's a good thing. It hasn't grown enough since Biden took office,
00:12:06.420 but it's grown. But it is nowhere near keeping pace at the absolute surge in the price of land,
00:12:12.960 in the price of housing. Why? Because Biden's inflation is causing a mass rush of capital
00:12:19.140 into tangible assets, assets like farmland, like single family homes, which have tremendous
00:12:24.340 institutional participation, something that never happened before. Why? Because that smart money,
00:12:30.100 that smart institutional money wants protection against Biden's inflation. But the reality is,
00:12:35.500 even for folks who are doing well, and again, that's by definition, homebuyers,
00:12:39.400 even for folks who are doing well, they're not doing nearly well enough to keep pace,
00:12:44.500 to be able to afford the things that they want and need in their lives. Americans are getting poorer
00:12:50.320 every single day. We now have 17 months in a row of declining year over year, average wage,
00:12:58.380 real wage growth in the United States. These are the consequences of Joe Biden, and we see it
00:13:03.620 in the real estate market. So when you combine what Newell and many other consumer-facing companies tell us,
00:13:08.960 that they are seeing at the consumer level, when you combine that then with this data on real estate
00:13:14.040 and housing, the reality, unfortunately, for the consumer, for citizens in the United States,
00:13:19.120 is that they are in a financial vice right now. They are literally taking it from all sides. And
00:13:24.920 that's been with a job market, which up until now has been relatively healthy. But there are many signs
00:13:30.040 pointing to the job market deteriorating significantly in the coming months as this recession
00:13:36.340 intensifies. So these are the consequences. And again, as always, I don't bring all this data to
00:13:41.660 the forefront to depress the American people. I want the deplorables out there to be educated on
00:13:45.860 what's going on and to have a dispassionate view of the reality that they face. But I also
00:13:50.720 want it to motivate everybody, just as they should be motivated by what's happening to Steve Bannon today,
00:13:55.620 as they should be motivated by what is going on to Peter Navarro. All of this, the economics,
00:13:59.760 the unjust and politicized DOJ, all of this should be encouraging and motivating to take action,
00:14:06.380 because we have an election weeks away, and it is a fulcrum election. And we have to get these
00:14:11.880 America first candidates over the finish line. All right, Steve, when we come back at the break,
00:14:18.080 we're going to continue. I want to go beyond the consumer issue, look more at some of the
00:14:24.640 manufacturing side. Go look around the world, what's going on and what it means for us.
00:14:29.540 Peter K. Navarro in for Stephen K. Bannon. You're here in the war room where you hear news first.
00:14:36.260 We'll be right back.
00:14:37.180 To the end, just watch and see. It's all started. Everything's begun. And you are over.
00:14:45.800 Because we're taking down the CCP. Spread the word all through Hong Kong. We will fight till they're all gone.
00:14:54.640 We rejoice when there's no more. Let's take down the CCP.
00:14:59.540 You know what's never good? When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely
00:15:05.860 misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation. Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen
00:15:12.060 has finally admitted, quote, there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy
00:15:17.280 that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly
00:15:22.780 that I didn't, at the time, fully understand. End quote. You know who understands the real threat
00:15:30.440 of inflation? People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group. They're protecting
00:15:37.080 their savings from a highly turbulent economy by diversifying their 401k or IRA into gold, physical

00:16:25.340 That's the incendiary new book from former Trump trade czar Peter Navarro, available on Amazon today.
00:16:31.120 Stephen K. Bannon calls Taking Back Trump's America a brass-knuckled insider's account of
00:16:36.600 the merciless 2020 fall and miraculous 2024 rise of the White House of Trump. Taking Back Trump's
00:16:43.360 America is the blueprint for a new Trump White House that will truly make America great once again.
00:16:50.020 Order Taking Back Trump's America today on Amazon. Some of the workers at companies,
00:16:55.400 literally their last act at the factory was to unbolt the machine and load it up to be shipped off to
00:17:02.460 China.
00:17:04.740 So, all right. So that was Tim Ryan. And that was a clip. I actually love that clip from the film
00:17:14.380 I did back in 2011 called Death by China. It's on YouTube. It's free. It was on Netflix for many
00:17:25.140 years. But here's the thing. I have a confession to make. I like Tim Ryan. At least I like him as an
00:17:34.560 individual and a person. And that's the problem here because I think there's going to be Ohioans
00:17:40.740 who view Tim Ryan as their favorite son and might be tempted to vote for him. And if you go back to
00:17:50.820 that rhetoric in Death by China, I mean, he literally was one of the first Democrats back in 2011 who was
00:18:00.060 banging on the Communist China taking our jobs and manufacturing base issue. I mean, that clip, it's like I
00:18:07.100 went to the factories where he talked about. They were burnt out shells where the machines literally had been
00:18:17.160 taken over to come into China. And a lot of the times, and this was like so kind of arrogant in
00:18:23.800 your face of the Chinese, they'd hire the workers there to come over to China for a few months and 0.58
00:18:33.160 teach them how to use the machines and then send them on their way. Okay. I mean, that's like, and Tim
00:18:38.260 Ryan, like he understood that at the time, but here's the problem now with Tim Ryan. He is somebody
00:18:48.260 who has so far lost his way that he doesn't even know what that way was to begin with. And the problem
00:18:55.500 started when he decided to run for president. I think he pulled like 1% of the vote when it was all done.
00:19:04.140 But, um, when you run for president and you're not kind of your, your values are not the values of
00:19:14.220 the Democrat party, you got a choice to make. You either stay true to who you are, the blue collar 0.97
00:19:21.020 pro manufacturing kind of guy, or you pivot and become just another politician with rhetoric. And
00:19:30.420 Tim Ryan during the presidential race decided to go left of Bernie Sanders on things like
00:19:37.300 cars and this, that, and the other thing. And now, I mean, look, it's, it's, uh, Bill Parcells,
00:19:45.980 the NFL coach, you are what your record says you are. And what Tim Ryan's record says he is,
00:19:55.280 is that he's simply a puppet of Chuck Schumer and the Democrats who voted for every single thing
00:20:04.640 that the Democrats wanted to do. You didn't see Tim Ryan pull, pull a, uh, a, a mansion,
00:20:11.880 Joe Manchin kind of play where for the good of his state, he held firm and maybe, maybe got something
00:20:19.440 for that. No, no, no, no, no. Ryan has been all in on the woke progressive agenda. And who better
00:20:27.020 to talk about that race with in Ohio between J.D. Vance, the Trump backed candidate, the MAGA candidate
00:20:35.920 versus Tim Ryan, the Schumer Pelosi progressive woke, then the guy we had on in the last segment,
00:20:44.680 and Cortez, who not, isn't just an economist, apparently he's also a political strategist for
00:20:50.740 J.D. Vance. Steve, um, wax, uh, more eloquent certainly than I was on this because you're right
00:20:57.360 there at the grassroots. Sure. What's going on with Tim Ryan and J.D. Vance right now? He's closer than
00:21:03.560 he should be. Tim Ryan is a political weather vane. And what I mean by that is he faces whichever way he
00:21:10.480 believes the political winds are blowing. And he often gets it wrong, by the way, regarding the
00:21:15.260 direction of the wind. But that's the reality because his populist rhetoric, his fake populist
00:21:20.520 rhetoric, it is as empty as the Ohio factories that he helped to destroy by supporting the Democratic
00:21:27.360 Party and Joe Biden, who is principally responsible, perhaps more than any other single American,
00:21:33.480 for what China has done to America broadly, but specifically to the industrial heartland
00:21:39.700 Midwest. Since Joe Biden, let's be specific with some numbers. Since Joe Biden, as a then
00:21:44.720 senator, was one of the principal and foremost architects and proponents of China joining the
00:21:49.800 WTO on terms that were incredibly generous to the junta in Beijing, to the Chinese Communist Party,
00:21:55.260 which was a bipartisan effort, by the way. George W. Bush, every bit as blameworthy as the Democrats.
00:22:01.200 But Biden, again, was at the forefront of that movement. And from that moment in 2001,
00:22:05.560 China and the WTO, until 2015, the state of Ohio lost 190,000 manufacturing jobs to China. And that
00:22:14.540 is according to the Economic Policy Institute, which is a left-leaning think tank. Almost 200,000
00:22:21.480 family-sustaining, high-paying manufacturing jobs in the Buckeye State lost. Okay? That's Joe Biden.
00:22:28.440 That's who he is. Now, who is Tim Ryan? Well, according to FiveThirtyEight, another left-leaning
00:22:33.520 organization, a poll and analytics organization, he votes 100% of the time in the U.S. House with
00:22:40.640 Joe Biden. Not 90%, not 98%, 100% of the time. So, listen, he talks a decent game. I'll give him
00:22:47.680 that. He talks a decent game when he's back in Ohio. But he's not going to fool the good citizens of
00:22:53.180 Ohio. And I'll tell you what just was unearthed. You alluded to it regarding Bernie Sanders and Tim
00:22:58.300 Ryan's run for president. Believe it or not, Tim Ryan believes that Bernie Sanders is not radical
00:23:05.040 enough when it comes to the Echo Green New Deal agenda of the left. Here's what he said. And let
00:23:11.680 me quote from Tim Ryan. This is Tim Ryan running for president. As you mentioned, his presidential
00:23:15.680 bid went nowhere. But he ran for president and tried to tack hard to the left. And this is his quote.
00:23:21.480 The way things are moving, Senator Sanders and I got into it in this debate a little bit. He was like
00:23:26.820 banning gas cars in 2040. In my mind, in all honesty, it's like, okay, great, whatever. But if
00:23:34.460 we're waiting for 2040 to get rid of gas vehicles, we're doing something terribly wrong. Tim Ryan,
00:23:41.640 Congressman Tim Ryan, let me say that last part again. If we're waiting for 2040 to get rid of gas
00:23:46.360 vehicles, we're doing something terribly wrong. So he is to the left of Bernie Sanders. That is not
00:23:54.100 remotely where Ohio is. And this is, this isn't a clip I pulled out from 20 years ago. Okay. This is
00:24:00.020 from just over two years ago, right? I mean, this is very contemporaneous. That's who Tim Ryan is. So
00:24:05.420 yes, does he speak like a populist when he's at a union hall in Ohio? Sure he does. But he goes to
00:24:10.100 Washington DC and he acts as a typical swamp creature. And he gets dutifully in line behind whatever
00:24:16.260 Biden and Schumer tell him to do. And when it comes to the echo radical green agenda, which right
00:24:21.680 now is wreaking havoc all over the world, he in fact is at the most leftist extreme of even the
00:24:29.320 Democratic Party as portrayed by his, as revealed by his very own word. Steve, what's the, um, what's
00:24:36.680 the debate schedule been like between, uh, Vance and Ryan? Have they gone head to head yet? And how's that
00:24:43.400 gone? No, they, they have not yet, but you know, listen, I certainly look forward to it.
00:24:47.680 One of the things about JD Vance, there's so much that I admire about him, but one of the things that
00:24:51.080 I most admire, uh, is compared to a lot of politicians, boy, does this guy do his homework?
00:24:55.500 I mean, he's as much a policy wonk as he is a politician. Now, most people who are policy wonks
00:25:00.240 don't have the personality to be politicians and vice versa, right? Most of the people who have the
00:25:04.760 politician personality don't have the, uh, the hustle and grit to do the policy work,
00:25:09.820 to do the homework. And so in JD Vance, I think you find this confluence of both. That's incredibly
00:25:14.740 impressive and very, very effective. Look, JD Vance had a really tough primary. Okay. And
00:25:19.280 tough primaries are good. They're good for our country. They're good for our movement. Uh,
00:25:23.260 that was a crowded primary full of a lot of money, full of some pretty compelling candidates. Now,
00:25:28.200 JD Vance was the most compelling, which is why I got behind him very early and why thankfully
00:25:32.000 president Trump saw in him such promise. And JD Vance will take nothing for granted. Ohio is a state
00:25:37.920 that certainly leans America first and leans red, but he's going to take nothing for granted. He's
00:25:42.280 going to hustle all the way through the finish line. And what I also would like to encourage folks
00:25:46.860 about is, uh, as much as I'm into JD Vance, as much as I admire and support him, this is a country
00:25:51.980 wide movement. We've got some incredible candidates, particularly for the Senate, all of whom are
00:25:56.600 America first, all of whom are young, uh, and most of whom are coming from the outside, meaning they had 0.97
00:26:02.400 not been involved in politics before, or they certainly haven't run for office before. So in a
00:26:06.600 difference, in addition to JD Vance, I'm talking about people like Katie Britt in Alabama, Blake
00:26:11.200 Masters in Arizona, Adam Laxalt in Nevada, Herschel Walker in Georgia. If we get that entire class of
00:26:18.600 freshman senators over the finish line, they are going to change the entire complexion of the U S
00:26:23.880 Senate because you know how that body works and a committed group of small America first patriotic
00:26:28.840 populace can change the whole dynamic. Go back to JD Vance real quick. Uh, Rob Portman,
00:26:35.020 who retired from that seat, uh, won that state by 20 points. The last time he ran as a Republican,
00:26:44.260 um, and that was before Trump turned Ohio is deep red. Has Portman endorsed?
00:26:52.140 Yes. Yes. He's, he's fully behind JD Vance and the Republican party has coalesced well, which is not an
00:26:59.360 easy task after a brutal primary, right? Uh, the Republican party has, has fully coalesced
00:27:05.140 McConnell finally, finally anteed up some money, which was good to see. Uh, we're hoping, um, that Mitch,
00:27:13.180 uh, does the same thing for Herschel Walker in Georgia, that, that race, I was talking to Barris earlier,
00:27:20.420 Richard Barris and, um, Herschel has, has taken the punches and now he's back close to even with Warnock.
00:27:27.640 He can take Warnock out if, uh, if he gets some help from Rhino world up there in, uh, in the swamp. Uh, 0.94
00:27:35.420 but it's always good to be with you, Steve. Um, I think we're going to see you later today, perhaps. Uh,
00:27:41.600 but tell us now what your, uh, social media coordinates are. No, wait, I know this. Steve on getter.
00:27:49.480 Pretty easy. You know, that's why they gave it to me. Because you got Bannon on that, baby. Right. Well, you got the
00:27:55.620 Steve first. Exactly. In part because, well, I'm a baller. Okay. And ballers get it, but it also, so that I can remember
00:28:01.600 it. So I'm just at Steve. I'm Cortez Steve on Twitter. Cortez with an ass. All right.
00:28:05.280 But you got to know, I got a little cloud at getter. So if you come on with a tie the next time,
00:28:09.860 you know, you might lose that Steve handle. You're jealous. Um, my brother, Cortez, you're the man.
00:28:17.880 We'll be right back. Peter K. Navarro in the war room. Russ Bout coming up. Russ, Russ Bout,
00:28:22.580 my former colleague. Americans are discovering that if we want to change this nation, we have to change the
00:28:28.300 way the marketplace works. Look, woke corporations are seeking to divide us. Big banks are freeing the
00:28:32.820 freezing the accounts of people who disagree with their political views. And our supply chain is
00:28:37.560 dependent upon countries that actively work against our values like the Chinese Communist Party.
00:28:43.420 It's time for a change. And that change starts with you and your wallet. That's why I'm proud to

00:29:47.560 That's the incendiary new book from former Trump trade czar Peter Navarro, available on Amazon
00:29:53.280 today. Stephen K. Bannon calls Taking Back Trump's America a brass-knuckled insider's account of the
00:29:59.480 merciless 2020 fall and miraculous 2024 rise of the White House of Trump. Taking Back Trump's
00:30:06.060 America is the blueprint for a new Trump White House that will truly make America great once again.
00:30:12.280 Order Taking Back Trump's America today on Amazon.
00:30:18.000 Peter K. Navarro in for Stephen K. Bannon. I've got a great guest now. I'm going to bring in my
00:30:25.200 former colleague at the White House, Russ Vogt. Russ was the director of the Office of Management and Budget
00:30:36.160 at the White House, arguably the most powerful unknown position to many, but he did a great job
00:30:45.680 while he was there. What I'm going to ask Russ to do now for the posse is briefly summarize all of the
00:30:54.140 spending bills that have been queued up and passed by the Democrats and the Biden regime,
00:31:01.820 and then talk about the coming weeks and months about how Congress is going to have to pass some
00:31:11.620 debt ceiling raises and this, that, and the other thing. And the big question underlying all of this,
00:31:17.340 Russ, is going to be what should be the strategy of Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy to try to slow
00:31:24.800 that stagflationary bust down? So turn it right to you, Russ.
00:31:29.520 No, thank you, Peter. And it's very simple. There have not been the annual spending bills that fund
00:31:36.760 all of the bureaucracies that the American people interact with. Those have not been passed. And so
00:31:42.300 they are on the cusp of a deadline at the end of this month in which they're going to have to get
00:31:47.720 spending bills passed or do a continuing resolution to kick the can down the road. And what is vital,
00:31:54.560 absolutely vital, is that Republicans, and they have this authority to do this because they can
00:32:00.640 block it in the Senate, they cannot allow a lame duck where an omnibus bill would pass after the
00:32:07.920 election. And they cannot allow these full year appropriations bills to be passed. Why? Because 0.87
00:32:14.980 we need to have a cavalry come in the new year and have an ability to make these things and push back
00:32:22.900 using the leverage of the power of the purse to push back against the Biden administration on
00:32:28.280 everything from the wokeism that's infected the Department of Justice, what we deal with with
00:32:34.800 regard to the FBI, reforms to prevent the fact that they continue to bring in refugees who are 0.99
00:32:41.540 unvetted. There are a host of reforms. The wide open border that we see on a daily basis when they
00:32:48.400 have catch and release, there's a host of important priorities that have to be addressed in addition
00:32:54.280 to rolling back the spending. And some of the spending that can be rolled back is the $80 billion for
00:32:59.800 the IRS to have audits as far as the eye can see, $40 billion for the EPA to conduct criminal
00:33:06.800 investigations of people who build ponds on their ranch land in violation of the waters of the United
00:33:12.640 States. So you get a sense of we have very little in the minority, you don't have a lot of leverage
00:33:17.940 points to beat back against the administrative state. It is absolutely vital that Republicans in
00:33:24.240 the Senate do not allow a full year appropriations bill and allow the cavalry to arrive in January.
00:33:32.960 And this is a totally doable thing. Even if you're not as conservative as you and I, Peter, are, you're
00:33:38.280 not a watcher of the war room. You're just kind of a middle of the road Republican senator. This is
00:33:43.000 not, we're not calling for something that is ahistorical that's never been done. This is actually
00:33:47.960 pretty common at times. And so no lame duck. People should call their congressman, their senator in
00:33:53.920 particular, and say it is absolutely vital for you not to allow a lame duck where big spending can
00:33:59.220 occur or big spending before an election. All right. So let's, let's break some of this down
00:34:05.380 here. First of all, this, this lame duck omnibus bill. Um, I think what you're referring to there
00:34:13.980 is, uh, the possibility where they only have to have 50 votes, not two thirds for that. Am I got that
00:34:22.660 correct? No, the art, the beauty of this strategy is that they can't do this with 51 votes. They have
00:34:30.220 to pass normal spending bill, annual spending bill to be able to get the 60 votes. But the problem is
00:34:36.320 Republicans have given them those, those 10 votes that they need to overcome the filibuster. So that's
00:34:41.620 why, you know, Senate Republican leadership have the authority to be able to control this, to set this
00:34:48.240 up the way it's necessary for the cavalry to come. Is there any, um, is there any implicit, um, idea
00:34:56.980 here that in order for them to execute this strategy, Russ, they'd have to threaten to shut down the
00:35:01.780 government? And if so, how would that play before the election? I, is that part of the strategy?
00:35:09.900 It's, it's not in this case because, you know, if we were saying we need to have all of these policy
00:35:15.500 wins before the election, we need to get the administrative state under control right now,
00:35:22.000 then that's now an opportunity. That's, that's a possibility. But if you're saying, look, we, we
00:35:27.860 want to have the cavalry have an opportunity to come in January and get this thing under control,
00:35:34.280 or really to start to fight with the Biden administration with increased numbers,
00:35:38.060 all you're doing is saying, look, we're going to kick this can down the road a little bit. And what
00:35:43.580 is Congress good at? They're good at kicking the can down the road. And so this is why I say it's
00:35:49.340 not unprecedented for having these short-term, uh, extensions that sets you up to ensure that you
00:35:55.700 don't pass these a bloated spending bill now, where there's no fight right now to push on some of these
00:36:01.300 cultural battles. And we've got to make sure there's no lame duck. So no Senator can come to us and say,
00:36:07.820 Peter and Russ, you guys are pushing for a shutdown right before the election. No, we're not.
00:36:12.680 So are, okay, again, let me break this down. So I understand you're deep in the weeds on it.
00:36:20.220 What is the vote that has to be taken say over the next weeks or months for to, to initiate that? Is
00:36:28.980 that, are you pro extension or against the extension? I would do a short-term clean extension. If you can't
00:36:37.020 get any progress, you can't do any, any progress along of our priorities, uh, to prevent a long-term
00:36:43.420 deal, I would do a short clean extension into January, let the cavalry come. You want, the extension
00:36:49.880 has to go into January. The extension is of what? What's the extension of? Your, all of your federal
00:36:57.340 spending that you do on an annual basis. So you've got everything from the military to, uh, the department
00:37:05.200 of education, all of that within the foot on an annual basis, your non entitlements that are on
00:37:10.240 autopilot. So the idea is to get it extended into January. And then in January, be able to claw back
00:37:18.680 some of this stuff like the IRS, 80 billion. I didn't know the EPA was getting 40 billion. Are they
00:37:25.440 getting that upfront as well? Like the IRS? Yeah. Yeah. And they've got, uh, language in there that say
00:37:31.800 they want it to be pushed out the door in a number of, you know, two months. And now those,
00:37:36.800 those deadlines are hard to meet as you and I well know, but you know, they, they want to get this
00:37:41.920 money spent as quickly as possible. I mean, it, Ross, I, I don't, I don't know if you or I have ever
00:37:49.040 seen anything quite like this, where, where these dollars, these tax dollars are being weaponized by
00:37:56.360 agencies of government to go after people. I mean, you add, as I understand it, they're more than
00:38:03.200 doubling the amount of people working now at the IRS. At the same time, they're buying weapons
00:38:09.640 for the IRS. I mean, who are these people coming for? And, and the EPA, you're, you, yeah, it's
00:38:17.340 ranchers. I mean, have you ever seen anything like this? Who's behind that? I was kind of wondering,
00:38:21.860 like, who are the people who come up with this stuff? Cause it's so un-American and it's going 0.93
00:38:27.620 to just piss people off when these people start arresting people. Yeah. I think this is the thing
00:38:33.720 that's different about the age that you and I are living in. And you know, it very firsthand of
00:38:38.460 weaponized government is that we're not dealing with just kind of a budget cutting exercise here.
00:38:43.600 Uh, this, and we have a ton of fiscal irresponsibility and we need to get our house under control,
00:38:49.400 but we're dealing with woke and weaponized government. And it's two of those things.
00:38:55.860 It's wokeness with a particular viewpoint about how you're going to live your life. And is America
00:39:00.200 a good country? And are we going to level the entire country so that we can't ever have
00:39:04.320 exceptionalism within the American people or, and weaponized. And it's not just the FBI. It's not
00:39:11.060 just the department of justice. It's not just the national, the, the NSA surveilling our phones.
00:39:16.160 It is at the EPA. It is at the interior department that denies, intentionally denies
00:39:22.540 an important renewal of a license so that an oyster company shuts down. Drake's oyster company.
00:39:28.640 You have example after example of, of the administrative state weaponized against the
00:39:34.360 American people. And that's why I think we have a political shot at reining this in because people 1.00
00:39:39.320 feel it in their own life. You know, I, one of my deep regrets when, for our four years there at the
00:39:45.960 White House is that we weren't able to clean, uh, some of those career bureaucrats out of the 0.99
00:39:51.600 bureaucracy, uh, like we should, you know, they were just like hanging in the weeds, ready to rear
00:39:57.380 their ugly hood, uh, head once, once, uh, Biden, um, got back, uh, in, into the White House, uh, this time
00:40:06.540 as president. Um, is there any sense, Russ, of, um, remorse or realization of the strategic error?
00:40:16.680 Those, the, kind of the Lindsey Graham wing of the Senate, um, is about their acquiescence to the
00:40:24.660 Democrats. I mean, they clearly got outmaneuvered. Do they understand that yet?
00:40:29.000 Probably not. I, you know, the Senate does not have a governing strategy of using leverage points.
00:40:37.240 And that is a consensus that we are trying to build. One of the reasons our organization focuses
00:40:42.000 on these issues is you can't govern without leverage points and you can't govern and divide
00:40:47.480 a government without leverage points. If you don't use them, if you allow the debt limit to be kicked
00:40:51.680 into next year, which is when that expires and we're going to be prepared for that. If that's what
00:40:56.860 continues to happen, how all you do is vote and you vote in the minority and you give a speech,
00:41:02.740 but that's not what the American people vote you into office to do. They say with all of your might
00:41:08.340 lead this country and try to be Statesman with the leverage points that you have and to actually
00:41:14.240 change the direction of the river that's going right now downstream inexorably. See, that's what
00:41:20.980 puzzles me. I mean, I remember, I remember, um, in the early stage of the Trump administration,
00:41:26.600 listening to Mitch McConnell talk kind of behind closed doors and bragging about he was how disruptive
00:41:36.560 he was to Obama. And in Obama's book, he talks about how McConnell was able to continually slow
00:41:44.080 him down. Um, has Mitch lost the step? Um, has Mitch kind of just so anti-Trump that he's like
00:41:52.980 giving in to Democrats to the other, what's going on with McConnell, uh, Russ, cause clearly he doesn't
00:42:00.300 embrace our values at this point. Yeah. I think that Senate Republicans have a distaste for what
00:42:07.840 they view as political risk. And in Washington DC is a cartel in many respects and a cartel doesn't
00:42:15.620 want that risk. And so they will, uh, short the amount of policy objectives that they can accomplish
00:42:22.360 because they are, they're trying to get rid of the risk in the same way that business would.
00:42:27.920 And you and I, we come to Washington DC and we say, of course, we're going to have risks. That's what
00:42:33.080 politics is about. And we can manage that risk within accomplishing our objectives, but we have to
00:42:40.000 accomplish our objectives. And for, and unfortunately we have an institution in the United States Senate
00:42:45.540 that over a long period of time, and we're seeing great manifestations of it right now, tries to govern
00:42:51.820 without that risk and tries to not into ultimately short on what can be the art of the possible is. And
00:42:58.660 that's really why we're in the hold that we're in across the board and why we need additional folks
00:43:03.440 like J.D. Vance and Blake Masters to join their ranks and be able to seize these because one senator in the
00:43:09.600 United States Senate can change everything. And there's, there's a limit to what each one of them
00:43:14.240 can bear. My brother, quick, uh, 10 second social media. You are a patriot, sir. And you're absolutely
00:43:20.820 right on that. Thanks, Peter. They can get me at americarenewing.com or at Russ vote on all the
00:43:26.560 socials. Do it posse. Russ, thanks again, my brother. You're always there for me. Peter K. Navarro
00:43:33.340 We'll be right back in Stephen K. Bannon's war room. It is Stephen K. Bannon's war room.

00:45:39.900 They put Peter Navarro in leg irons for simply doing his constitutional duty. Now they want to put
00:45:45.860 Peter in prison for standing up for Donald Trump. Please go to Amazon right now and order Taking Back
00:45:51.940 Trump's America to help fund Peter's legal defense. Taking Back Trump's America provides a critical MAGA
00:45:58.140 blueprint to put Trump back in the White House in 2024. Buy Taking Back Trump's America on Amazon
00:46:04.540 today. If they can put Peter Navarro in prison, they can come for all of us.
00:46:09.420 No leg irons, at least today. I want to talk a little bit about that and Stephen K. Bannon. But first,
00:46:21.220 Posse, Getter. Getter is the Twitter killer. If you're not on Getter, please check it out. If you do
00:46:28.160 social media, if you do Facebook or Twitter or Instagram, let's like check Getter out. Getter does
00:46:35.520 everything that Twitter does. Plus, it's got really cool features, particularly the live stream. And
00:46:43.540 it's a more elegant platform. And what I've done is I have a Getter account. It's Real P. Navarro.
00:46:51.600 Same on Twitter, Real P. Navarro. And if you follow me at all, you'll notice that I always post
00:46:58.280 the same content at the same time on Getter and Twitter. And what I've noticed consistently
00:47:08.040 is that Getter gets consistently greater social engagement. And whenever I put on anything,
00:47:19.260 which might give even a whiff of whatever to the Twitch sensors, I notice kind of a dramatic
00:47:26.120 reduction in engagement on Twitter. And it's like what their algorithms do. And we learned
00:47:32.920 this yet again when Zuckerberg did his Facebook interview with Joe Rogan. And they were talking
00:47:42.000 about how they suppressed the laptop from hell. Real information that the command of the FBI,
00:47:50.400 they said they do it with an algorithm. What they do is whatever is like should be up at the top,
00:47:58.080 they push it down. Right. So in my case, just last week, I tweeted an article from the Washington
00:48:07.780 Times, right, that Stephen Hathaway and I did on hydroxychloroquine. Hydroxychloroquine could have
00:48:14.580 saved anywhere from 570,000 to 810,000 lives of the million Americans who died. That's just a fact 0.70
00:48:24.340 based on the latest scientific evidence from over almost a half a million subjects in 51 countries.
00:48:33.700 Okay. 57% to 81% possible reduction in mortality rate, hydroxychloroquine in early treatment use. So I
00:48:42.420 put that up on Twitter and Getter. And of course, they didn't take it off. Okay. But they suppressed
00:48:52.580 the information. You can't let them do that to you on Facebook and Twitter. You got to do alternatives,
00:48:59.300 whether it's Getter or Truth Social or both. I mean, hedge your bets here, folks. And Getter,
00:49:06.740 for me, is the Twitter killer. And that's the one that I spend most of my time on. That's the one
00:49:12.420 that Stephen K. Bannon spends all of his time on. He posts very frequently on Getter. So check it out,
00:49:22.420 the Getter site. The other thing you saw come leading in was the ad for the Taking Back Trump's
00:49:32.740 America book. That's real. They put me in leg irons. They strip searched me. During my White House years,
00:49:42.020 for four straight years, I've only been accused of saving lives and creating jobs. Yet I wound up in
00:49:48.340 leg irons. The Taking Back Trump's America book is a really important watershed here for this country
00:49:56.820 in this upcoming election. Taking Back Trump's America, it's going to be officially out on September
00:50:05.300 20th. But the name of the game here, Posse, if you haven't ordered it yet on Amazon, please do that
00:50:13.140 today. Do that right now. Send a copy to your friend. Get the audio edition. And the reason why
00:50:22.180 is threefold. One, it's a blueprint and battle cry for taking back the Trump White House in 2024.
00:50:30.580 Check that box. Number two, and this is the most important thing. This is the canon of Steve Bannon.
00:50:37.620 We have to take back Trump's America by taking back the House of Representatives from Nancy Pelosi
00:50:45.700 as Speaker so they can stop them from weaponizing unconstitutionally the investigatory powers of
00:50:53.620 Congress. We can't let them do that anymore. Pelosi and Schiff and Raskin and Luria,
00:50:59.220 and they've been doing that since 2018, trying to impeach Trump, get him out of office, coup d'etat,
00:51:08.260 and oh, by the way, putting both me and Steve Bannon in leg irons as part of their weaponization.
00:51:15.860 Okay? We have to do that. And look, this is a critical time in our nation's history. We've seen
00:51:27.300 through the arc of the Trump candidacy, presidency, and post-presidency, first a preemptive attempted coup
00:51:37.940 by the FBI and the Democrats with the fully discredited Russia hoax. The whole purpose of that
00:51:45.540 was to make Trump lose the election throughout his four years as they put Trump people in prison
00:51:53.860 or made them spend a bunch of money like Mike Flynn and got them out of the Trump administration.
00:51:59.620 And then they had the successful coup. I mean, let's say this, the FBI engineered a successful
00:52:08.500 coup of the Trump White House in the 2020 election. Okay? Why do I say that? Because they suppressed
00:52:15.540 that laptop from hell misinformation about Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and the Biden crime family. If
00:52:23.380 people had known that in America, Trump would still be in the Oval Office today. We wouldn't
00:52:28.820 have all this stuff going on. And now another preemptive coup by trying to stop Trump from
00:52:36.340 running and Stephen K. Bannon, Stephen K. Bannon from spreading the gospel of MAGA and populist economic
00:52:46.740 nationalism to this country. If Democrats fear him, that's why I'm here today, not Stephen K. Bannon.
00:52:54.660 But posse, we got to support Steve. Action, action, action. We'll see you in the five o'clock
00:53:01.140 hour Eastern time. Peter K. Navarro out.
