00:21:34.880 biased. But I mean, there's nobody who's had a greater impact on Reagan, on Trump, on Thatcher

00:21:39.660 than Arthur Laffer. But because of that, I don't think Steve Bannon, I don't think he'll ever win a

00:22:54.320 more barrels of oil a day, which would mean we wouldn't have to worry about OPEC. We wouldn't

00:25:23.060 Steve, the Nasdaq is down over a percent and it hits a new two year low. Semiconductors are

00:25:29.140 particularly weak. The chip sector as a whole is down almost four percent on the day. And by the way,

00:25:34.920 things aren't any better in commodities for consumers because to Steve Moore's point right now,

00:25:38.640 and this is getting very little attention, crude oil, guess what? It's back above $90 a barrel. It's

00:25:42.920 right now, in fact, at $92 a barrel. So we are not that far away from triple digit crude again.

00:25:49.040 So again, though, too, capital markets are important, Steve, but I care way more about

00:25:52.360 Main Street. But what we're seeing in capital markets is that capital markets are starting

00:25:56.340 to price in and reflect the pain of Main Street, all of it caused by Joe Biden. This terrible

00:26:02.500 combination of extremely high inflation with the Biden-induced recession. That is the reality right

00:26:08.820 now. And the other reality, Steve, that I think is so important for people to realize,

00:26:11.940 because this happened on Friday, both stocks and bonds got killed concurrently. Normally,

00:26:16.740 when you have that kind of a steep, volatile sell-off in stocks, bonds do well. And so for

00:26:21.700 most investors, for most institutions, what has worked in the past and the past modeling is not

00:26:27.280 working now. If we show chart number one here, please, folks, I'd like to show this is year to

00:26:31.460 date. This is stocks and bonds. See, this is not how this chart is supposed to look. These two should

00:26:36.400 not resemble each other the way they do. I'm showing the S&P there in blue, and then the TLT,

00:26:41.540 which is an ETF, an exchange-traded fund that's full of treasury bonds, longer-dated treasury

00:26:46.340 bonds in red. As you can see, both of them have been crushed all year. That is the reality. In fact,

00:26:52.000 put percentages on it for the year to date right now. The S&P down 24%, long treasury bonds, which are

00:26:57.860 supposed to be riskless, down a stunning 32%. And Steve, to contrast that with 08-09, because we've

00:27:04.560 several times in the show now mentioned what happened during the great credit crisis. In that occasion,

00:27:08.940 as terrible as that was for his economy and as volatile as it was for capital markets,

00:27:13.240 let's compare an apples to apples, because I just showed you what's happened in the first three

00:27:16.480 quarters of this year. What happened in 08 into 09? If we look at the most relevant three quarters,

00:27:22.840 quarter two, three, and four of 2008, the S&P was down 42%. Okay, it was a bloodbath. It was similar

00:27:29.140 to now. But guess what? In that case, bonds rallied 25%. And here's the point, Steve. If you have sort of a

00:27:36.780 normal portfolio of 60-40, 60% stocks and 40% bonds, you were getting crushed on your stock

00:27:41.900 side. But guess what? The insurance policy, the bond side was working for you. And it was mitigating

00:27:47.280 the risk. And it was lessening the losses. And for some folks, it even meant that they were gaining

00:27:51.080 their portfolio, depending on how they were balanced. None of that is happening now, Steve.

00:30:30.280 our energy prices by double on the 1st of June. On day one, we're out. Executive Order 17 January,

00:30:35.360 when I'm sworn in. On day one, state lands are going to be open for energy development.

00:30:40.720 Looking at pipelines, we have two pipelines we're going to build. One, of course, to Philly,

00:30:44.960 to Delaware, to the Delaware River. And that way, we'll have a modernized,

00:30:48.780 liquefied natural gas terminal to export that across the world to our allies that want to buy

00:30:53.480 it off of Pennsylvania. And once again, reduce our reliance upon Russian oil and gas. And then a

00:30:58.540 pipeline to Lake Erie, outside of the city of Erie, so we can also export through that avenue.

00:31:02.680 And the goal is here is roll back also about eight years of Tom Wolfe and Josh Shapiro's

00:31:07.740 regulations on our energy sector, something that he can't and won't do. And so we want

00:31:11.800 to be become, my goal is to become number one in energy development within the first two years

00:31:33.920 Fetterman is, and he's terrible about crime, terrible. This is Shapiro's number one, he is

00:31:39.860 the number one person in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that should be held accountable

00:31:45.240 for this violent crime wave and nothing being done about it. Am I wrong in that, Colonel

00:31:49.880 You're absolutely right. Josh Shapiro is the sitting attorney general, the senior law enforcement

00:31:55.460 official. He likes to call himself a top cop, which is really fraud. He's not a cop, but okay.

00:31:59.800 So he owns crime and law and order in Pennsylvania. He's been there for six years. The traditional

00:32:04.540 media won't ask him any questions about his record because he'll fail on it. If it was a

00:32:08.000 Republican, they'd be crucifying him. On his watch, you're not safe for Pennsylvania. Crime has gone up

00:32:13.380 nearly to 40 percent, almost doubled under Josh Shapiro. For example, John Adams said facts are

00:32:19.360 stubborn things. Here's some facts for the lives out there. When Shapiro came into office, there was

00:32:24.280 277 homicides in Philadelphia. Last year, it was 562. We're on track this year for 600. This year in

00:32:31.640 Philly alone, Steve, 1,000 carjackings. I mean, it's the wild, wild west. It's spilling out now to

00:32:36.920 the suburbs. We're seeing carjackings in safe neighborhoods. We saw, of course, what happened

00:32:41.180 at Wawa in the Mayfair District in the Northeast. We saw the shooting at a football game in

00:32:45.140 Roxborough, another safe area of the city. My wife and I went to the only open-air drug

00:32:51.640 market in America, in Kensington, without cameras, without fanfare. I don't do stunts.

00:32:56.440 And it was heartbreaking to see this. And we're the fourth highest in a nation in fentanyl deaths.

00:33:00.480 We're losing 12 to 15 people to drug poisoning every day in Pennsylvania. Josh Shapiro owns that.

00:33:06.080 He's unfit for office. And he should be disqualified based off his failure in Pennsylvania alone

00:33:10.680 as the Attorney General. Unbelievable. Why is the local media not covering Shapiro's? Because

00:33:19.560 all the DAs, the guy in Philadelphia, Portsmouth, why are they not covering this and just saying,

00:33:24.640 hey, because this is about all citizens, particularly it's racist, because it's the

00:33:27.660 African-American, Hispanic community that's getting crushed by this. Why is the local media,

00:33:33.040 forget the national media, it's all in for Shapiro, why is local media not just even asking the

00:33:37.320 basic questions about who should be held accountable when obviously it should be the Attorney General,

00:33:49.940 was fighting to reopen the state when Governor Wolf had his unconstitutional shutdown orders back in

00:33:59.840 and then they'd attack me, irresponsible, no social distancing, hardly any masks, they're going to kill 0.99

00:34:03.680 their grandparents. And then literally, Governor Wolf would be out there on a BLM anti-defund the 0.96

00:34:08.920 police group rally with thousands. And it was okay, because it was a state-approved event. I thought

00:34:13.360 it was like Honecker's East Germany or something going on there. Much of the local media in Pennsylvania,

00:34:18.940 sadly, has gone radical left. And they use Democrat talking points, the same old stuff, over and over

00:34:24.080 again. Meanwhile, and they wonder why their viewership and subscriptions are way down. It's like,

00:34:28.340 really doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. But the Latino community in Pennsylvania

00:34:33.660 is waking up big time. Where they're breaking for me, it looks like close to 60% now. It's

00:34:38.440 fantastic, because they're very patriotic. They love God. They love their families. They love their

00:34:42.840 country. And we're also seeing some headway as well in the African-American community, who

00:34:46.800 both those communities are suffering huge because of the incompetence of the Democrat Party. The

00:34:50.980 Democrats have ruled Philadelphia since 1950 with the mayor, since 1962 with the city council,

00:34:56.380 and the city has completely collapsed. It's time for a change. You know, the definition

00:35:00.820 of insanity, Steve, as we know, is trying the same thing over and over, expecting a different

00:38:47.620 Connecticut and where I live here in Austin, it's just where I'm from. I'm probably gonna have to

00:38:50.540 move out of the area. It's so communist now. This is the same jurisdiction a few years ago that

00:38:54.980 indicted Rick Perry for vetoing a bill. It's in the constitution. He can veto a bill. Travis County,

00:38:59.940 uh, indicted him criminally, took him two years and $2 million to have it dropped finally.

00:39:05.880 And the same folks went for Tom delay for simply raising money legally. Travis County, where I live,

00:39:11.160 I picked a bad jurisdiction, set up my operation 28 years ago, was never thinking it would get this bad.

00:39:15.660 And so it's totally weaponized and both judges to Texas, uh, uh, trials, two different groups of

00:39:22.980 plaintiffs and then 15 other plaintiffs up in new Haven, Connecticut, where they own the state,

00:39:27.960 the Democrats, same group that sued Remington, same group that's, uh, you know, doing all this stuff.

00:39:32.560 It's a democratic party operation run by Senator Blumenthal and others literally run the firm and

00:39:36.980 his son's in there and they own the judge. They own the system. They own the political, uh, process there.

00:39:43.120 And so they said, give us all of your discovery for three and a half years, gave them everything

00:39:48.620 more than anybody has ever done in a libel or defamation trial. Then they said, no,

00:39:54.280 you didn't give us everything with no proof, by the way, you're defaulted. And so now we're going

00:39:59.160 to have a trial on the damages so they can put on all their fake evidence. They can cry and whine

00:40:03.920 for weeks and weeks with no evidence. I ever stalked them, no evidence. I ever attacked them,

00:40:08.040 no evidence, just, Hey, our kids died. And now all that is put on Alex Jones. And we want

00:40:13.060 $8.25 billion. That is, that is what they're going for.
