00:00:00.000than I expected. Inflation's got a lot of momentum. The best single measure to look at
00:00:06.760for inflation is a kind of super core measure, which is wages. Or you can look at the median
00:00:13.040component of inflation. They've just been running strong for a long time and not decelerating.
00:00:23.360So I think Team Transitory is engaged in a lot of wishful thinking.
00:00:30.540And I must say that I'm struck by the hypocrisy of some friends of mine like Paul Krugman, who are very quick now to focus on housing.
00:00:43.900And the fact that the private indices lead the public indices when the private indices are looking soft, but were entirely unwilling to credit that argument or to pay attention to the private indices some months ago when the private indices were obviously pointing to an acceleration of inflation.
00:01:07.280So I think we've got to be very, very careful here if we want to be credible about containing inflation.
00:01:18.880How much momentum is built into inflation and how can you tell?
00:01:21.500What are you looking at right now that telling you what happens in the fourth quarter and as we go into next year?
00:01:30.580I'm looking at super core measures that take housing out, take used cars out, in addition to taking food and energy out.
00:01:38.520I'm looking at the so-called median inflation component, whatever product it is that's right in the middle.
00:01:46.040I'm looking at the so-called trimmed mean that looks at the middle half of the distribution of product prices.
00:01:53.580And very crucially for me, I'm looking at wages, which is a kind of super core measure because labor goes into everything.
00:02:03.020And all of those are saying that inflation is not really coming down very fast if it's coming down at all and that it's way above the two percent target or any acceptable level.
00:02:15.840So besides the CPI numbers, Larry, a very big story throughout the week has been and continues to be Great Britain, where you had the Bank of England come in with their emergency buying of long term guilt that is due to expire on Friday, the end of this week.
00:02:29.020Same time, we now have Liz Truss coming out and making some changes.
00:02:33.180Give us your take on what's going on in the British economy and more importantly, the management of the British economy.
00:02:38.940Look, I think this is probably going to be a textbook case of crisis creation followed by crisis mismanagement.
00:02:54.220I'd be surprised if we were in the seventh inning of this particular set of challenges.
00:03:01.680I have said before that people now, I think, understand very clearly that when you do a military intervention, you should never give a sunset date when you're going to leave because it just emboldens the opposition.
00:03:18.060And I think something similar is true of last resort finance, where the kind of deadline the Bank of England gave, I think, is asking for trouble down the road.
00:03:30.780So I think we're going to see more tremors, more aftershocks, more problems.
00:03:37.020At the same time, I think we need to recognize that as serious as the British policy errors were,
00:03:44.040this might well not have happened if global economic conditions were more normal.
00:03:50.620And the kind of excesses we've had in the system mean we're in very complicated territory.
00:03:58.780okay welcome it's uh friday 14 october in the year of our lord 2022 that's larry summers former
00:04:06.760secretary treasurer he's running to be the next secretary treasurer janet yellen has already told
00:04:12.160people at the white house that she's out and of course they've told her she's out um inflation
00:04:16.860has a lot of momentum not decelerating um this is uh inflation's only getting worse uh not coming
00:04:24.740down on and on and on remember uh summers besides war rooms only people that talked about the
00:04:30.500permanent nature the systemic nature of this inflation back what when the um in the uh
00:04:36.720american recovery act the 1.9 trillion that kind of triggered all this um madness uh also axios
00:04:44.340has as its lead story this afternoon axios being the kind of uh mouthpiece for the establishment
00:04:50.480in DC. Axios has a story on Great Britain, which basically talks about what we've been talking
00:04:56.900about. It is quite important to the United States because this gets down to fiscal policy,
00:05:02.480what they call fiscal dominance, this reckless spending. The British have been doing it. Of
00:05:07.180course, the Biden regime has definitely been doing it. And in relation with a central bank
00:05:13.820and the mismanagement of the country's finances and this fantasy that you could have tax cuts
00:05:48.520you ought to be asking lots of questions because this is reverberating through the entire system
00:05:52.940i want to bring in boris epstein boris first off you you've been a wall street guy before you were
00:05:57.880in politics talk to me about what you just heard there from larry summers not a very good
00:06:03.060outlook when you hear the bite and the biden regime puts these economists out there and i
00:06:08.920mean the lies are so forget jean zen master jean pierre right she she's just a a pr flack
00:06:17.540I'm talking about the economists they put out from the administration, the Secretary of Treasury, with the happy talk, the relentless spin.
00:06:26.100And then Summers just gives it to you with both barrels.
00:07:07.020And that's why you're seeing, you know, in Rhode Island, Republican candidates up by eight, all across the country, a huge MAGA wave under the leadership of President Trump.
00:07:14.500It is only getting hotter and hotter and hotter, and the strength is only going up and up and up.
00:08:33.420You have to be able to understand exactly what it's doing.
00:08:36.500And what Axios says, what we said, the era of free lunches are over.
00:08:40.280The era of running massive deficits and just having central banks that can just hit the computer and create this out of thin air, that day is over.
00:08:49.500Right now, Janet Yellen's Treasury Department is having a tough time selling U.S. securities.
00:09:17.420Well, the committee has been a total disaster for the Democrats, right?
00:09:19.900When the country is hurting, when the American people are in as bad of a place as we have been now for almost two years economically, national security, and with soaring crime, the Democrats have been focusing on the witch hunt that is the J6 committee.
00:09:36.200And let's be honest, all their hoaxes that they continue to perpetrate against President Trump.
00:09:40.040But now yesterday, this really pathetic move and desperate to actually try to subpoena President Trump, a document testimony.
00:09:47.160President Trump this morning coming out with a hot statement in depth on all of the overwhelming fraud that the war room posse,
00:09:54.540the MAGA movement under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, that they have been talking about,
00:09:59.100that we've been fighting about, that we've been screaming from the top of every single mountain.
00:10:03.640The 2020 election was rigged and stolen.
00:10:05.500President Trump saying it in black and white this morning in a powerhouse, 14-page release that not only went through all the overwhelming thought, but also went through him authorizing over 10,000 National Guard troops because she knew that the speech on January 6th was going to be historic, was going to be attended by a record number of people.
00:10:24.000And guess what? Crooked, crooked, lying, crazy Nancy Pelosi and D.C. Mayor Merrill Bowser turned down that authorization.
00:10:32.220And all of a sudden, you have Nancy Pelosi's daughter in the Capitol being ready to film a documentary.
00:10:37.640Now, as we always say at War Room, right, there's no conspiracies, but there's no coincidence.
00:10:41.720I actually just repeated that with Dr. Corko's film. No conspiracies, but no coincidences.
00:10:46.640Nancy Pelosi turns down the protective troops. Her daughter is in there filming a documentary.
00:10:51.040What did they know? When did they know it? That's the key question.
00:10:53.700But the bottom line is the more they come at President Trump, the more they come at the MAGA movement, the more they come at the war on policy, the stronger we fight, the stronger we become.
00:11:03.940And we're seeing that in all the numbers all across the country.
00:11:06.420I'm Sue Kiley in New Jersey, Peter Hernandez in California, up and down New York, up and down New England, as you said, Stephen, of course, in Texas, in Arizona, in Nevada.
00:11:25.300And the American people are with us and with President Donald J. Trump.
00:11:28.820No, I think this is what I think the 14 page memo lays it out.
00:11:32.820The Democrats have to understand after the sweeping, soul crushing democracy suppository they get on November 8th because it destroys them as a national political institution from school boards all the way up to the House and Senate.
00:11:46.600there's going to be a real J6 committee and that J6 committee will have a ranking member have
00:11:52.180minority council as we've had from time immemorial right from the founding of the republic this
00:11:56.400thing will be run right but it'll get down it'll get into areas like what intelligence was known
00:12:02.000in advance you know morning Joe sitting there saying oh Scalise is a liar because Nancy Pelosi
00:12:06.220sitting on a phone call in the National Guard that's not what we're talking about we're talking
00:12:09.240about why they went out beforehand where's the intelligence where's the intelligence briefings
00:12:13.680in the run-up. What did intelligence say, right? Why wasn't the National Guard put on alert? Why
00:12:18.460wasn't the National Guard there? Why was it just some typical, just the basic everyday
00:12:22.300police officers for the Capitol Hill police with a few bike racks? That's all going to get
00:12:27.400adjudicated. And 3 November, as you know, is going to get adjudicated. The big part of that 14-page
00:12:34.380memo is the big steal. And we're going to go through that chapter and verse. People have to
00:12:40.100understand we're going to go through all of this in real detail in real congressional hearings
00:12:45.480where the nation can see exactly what happened exactly what led up to it and exactly what went
00:12:49.960on boris anything else to report from uh from certain areas of florida well i'm proud to report
00:12:56.220then beautiful south florida and and a gorgeous location that it's historic mar-a-lago president
00:13:01.780trump continues to be the leader that the maga movement and the american people want him and
00:13:06.480need him to be and the heat is on as it's never been before all the president's endorsements are
00:13:12.160winning and we're getting ready for huge wins in 22 and yes as we hope and expect we'll look at
00:13:16.860there's a long hard look at 2024 and getting right everything that this pathetic buying regime has
00:13:23.900been getting wrong president trump is at absolutely the top of his game i've never really hey and i've
00:13:28.420been honored to be working with him for a long time as you have steve i've never seen him firing
00:13:32.360on all cylinders maybe never seen him like he is now it is absolutely historic it's all heat all
00:13:39.200the time and we're not taking one inch back all offense all day long and you saw that in his
00:13:43.960historic statement today the 14 page powerhouse letter to the unselect j6 committee yeah i want
00:13:50.780to make sure we get that up in all the chat rooms for us how do people get to your morning uh email
00:13:55.000and how do they get to your uh social media no doubt about it steven hey i guess maybe there's

00:14:13.940god bless all offense and shabbat shalom boris thank you very much taking time away uh to join
00:14:20.480us okay a lot going on we got more finance and capital markets but we're also going to get into
00:14:24.600politics but we've asked dr naomi wolf to join us we'll take a short break we're going to play a
00:14:29.540cold open for Naomi. And then some very disturbing news from our beloved neighbor to the north,
00:14:36.100Canada. Be back in the warm in just a moment.
00:17:29.980Yeah, so this is an actual Canadian medical advisor speaking to the Canadian Parliament of Quebec. And he's advocating for the expansion of an existing assisted suicide or euthanasia program, I suppose is the way to put it.
00:17:48.000and instead of uh euthanizing which is bad enough you know people at the end of their life in
00:17:54.840intolerable uh pain or will never recover he's recommending that they just kill babies up to one
00:18:01.320year old and it doesn't even have to be a parent making the decision it can be a tutor or an
00:18:06.620intermediary making the decision um but just just kill them uh because they may be in pain their
00:18:12.480quality of life may not be good, not that the less than one-year-old can tell these officials
00:18:18.440whether they want to live or not. And it's terrifying. It appears to be part of a systematic
00:18:25.080and well-established now Canadian euthanasia and assisted suicide program. In addition to this
00:18:32.080about extending it to little babies, there's a sub stack by Rupa Subramanya called Schedule to
00:18:39.840Die, the Rise of Canada's Assisted Suicide Program, which has a chilling, terrifying story
00:18:45.920about a woman who found out that her 23-year-old son, who was depressed, he'd gone blind in
00:18:52.260one eye, he couldn't keep a girlfriend, you know, he had challenges in his life, but he
00:23:53.200I mean, if we don't have the right administration, there's nothing we can do in Canada because we're not Canadian citizens.
00:23:59.680i mean i guess the thing that's most chilling to me is that as you say canada is a sane uh
00:24:05.760compassionate progressive inclusive country and and canadians are you know becoming inured to this
00:24:12.200they're listening to it they're not um you know rising up and shrieking you know these are these
00:24:17.640are living children you know you can't do this this is a criminal you're proposing murder you're
00:24:22.120proposing state sanctioned murder um and and it is chilling language like it makes sense too
00:24:28.660But honestly, I mean, I'm getting so Old Testament these days. Once you have a euthanasia program, this is where it goes, right? Once you say human life isn't sacred, this is where it goes. So back to your point, how do we stop it? I mean, I think we need to support dissidents in Canada, like the truckers, like, you know, those tiny civil society groups, and I can send Cameron some links to them, that are bringing lawsuits against some of the worst tyrannies.
00:24:57.600But most importantly, we need to change administrations. I'm supposed to be nonpartisan. But, you know, there is a murderous regime aligned with this kind of ideology running our country now. And we have to change, you know, who's in charge all the way down to the local level. And then we can do things like sanctions.
00:25:17.340You know, we can like we used to sanction people who didn't let girls go to school.
00:25:21.540And now we're fine with Canada, you know, murdering children up to your proposing the murder of children up to one year old.
00:25:29.600I can't believe I'm going to say this, but we have to have a pro-life policy.
00:25:34.400Hang on. I want to get all that. I want to get all the the links up on the live chat and on this thing.
00:25:40.800Christy Wade, one of the mothers fighting at the border level, going to join us next.
00:25:44.700and i've got dennis talking about old testament i got dennis prager for an hour from six to seven
00:25:51.520you know what we're doing we're talking about the old testament how the old testament can be a moral
00:25:55.960and intellectual guide for us today uh naomi i want to pivot now you were the first one to start
00:26:02.920talking the research with the war room posse and with amy kelly and your team of lawyers
00:26:06.880about the issues with to mothers babies and then in scotland they started to have some articles but
00:26:13.680It looks like you got some blowback today.
00:26:15.640Can we put up the Scottish Herald story?
00:26:17.800Tell us what's going on in Scotland right now, ma'am.
00:26:21.620So I think this is related, actually, to what we talked about a couple of days ago.
00:26:25.520You may remember that I was on GB News, which is now a big show in Britain, an independent show.
00:26:31.920And we were presenting the War Room Daily Cloud research volunteers' findings, especially on what's causing harm to childbirth and to babies and to nursing mothers.
00:26:45.700And this got allegedly 411 complaints and an Ofcom investigation, but it has put some heat on people demanding answers because the women of Scotland were the ones who had, and the BBC covered this, a doubling of the babies who died.
00:27:02.000And I mentioned this on the air, dozens of babies in a month have been dying in Scotland, you know, 200% rise.
00:27:07.720So what's so shocking is that public health officials told the Herald, a Scottish kind of centrist newspaper, that there was no plausible link between the mRNA injections and the deaths of the babies in Scotland.
00:27:26.180But they gave no link, no data and no reason.
00:27:29.840They didn't even give the names of the public health officials.
00:27:32.600Well, Amy Kelly and I just wrote a very stern letter to the reporter who wrote this story and gave her all the links to all our research, showing that there is more than a plausible link to the mRNA vaccines.
00:27:45.920They're causing damage to placentas, damage to babies and so on.
00:27:50.200And we're demanding that they cover it.
00:27:51.700And we're going to keep we're going to keep covering their either coverage or non coverage.
00:27:55.840And I also say they need to be accountable for what they said.
00:28:01.380Naomi, can you give Daily Clout where people go to support you?
00:28:04.860The book is on Amazon, The Bodies of Others, and also your Substack, where people go?
00:28:09.280Yes, it's dailyclout.io, where all these reports are.
00:28:12.900My Substack is, and it is, as you said, Steve, a war against babies.
00:28:25.200Americans are discovering that if we want to change this nation, we have to change the way the marketplace works.
00:28:30.240Look, woke corporations are seeking to divide us, big banks are freezing the accounts of people who disagree with their political views, and our supply chain is dependent upon countries that actively work against our values, like the Chinese Communist Party.
00:28:44.200It's time for a change, and that change starts with you and your wallet.
00:28:48.820That's why I'm proud to partner with Public SQ, the largest network of patriotic, freedom-loving businesses and consumers our nation has ever seen.
00:28:57.080Public SQ is the first app to connect freedom-loving Americans with their local community and the businesses that share their values.
00:29:05.080Whether you want to support a restaurant that only buys from local farms, a coffee shop that took a stand against COVID mandates, or a bank that can never cancel you for your political views, Public SQ is your guide.
00:29:17.920There's also interactive, sensor-free community groups where you can connect with other local members.
00:32:16.320Christy Wade joins us now Christy is how does that school board allow I mean this is it's such
00:32:23.840pornography the the great team at Real America's Voice I mean we had to kind of think through
00:32:28.880how to edit it and you know we actually argued maybe some more edits and that's just you at a
00:32:33.600school board reading from the book that's in the classroom with the seventh graders and on
00:32:39.720recommended reading list how does this happen in the united states ma'am oh my goodness i wish i
00:32:47.480had an answer for you um it's honestly i think because we have gone so long without really
00:32:54.560understanding what is in our children's curriculum and what's on our kids bookshelves especially with
00:33:00.920the pandemic uh the last two years parents were removed from schools uh entirely uh the transparency
00:33:07.880is not there. And so I think parents just took on the back burner and they weren't active. They
00:33:16.300weren't proactive in their kids' education and understanding what's being taught. But guess what?
00:33:23.280Now we know. And that's why we're speaking at school boards. This is why we're here to bring
00:33:29.600awareness to parents, not just here in Charlotte, across the country, to say this stuff is happening
00:33:35.880in our schools um and we've got to push back you know we've got to leverage our first amendment
00:33:40.880rights while we still have them uh and say that we're not going to stand for this anymore
00:33:45.160but why are you not this is what i don't understand with this when you bring this
00:33:48.900evidence in there why are the school boards and the administrations not embracing the parents
00:33:54.160that are involved here and engaged here why are they not saying oh my gosh we don't know how this
00:33:58.620happened we'll take care of it why is it a constant fight so unfortunately i think in liberal counties
00:34:05.400such as mecklenburg county um we there's not enough of us pushing back and uh the school board
00:34:12.800quite honestly uh i don't think they care um as you could tell you know when i started my
00:34:18.180two minutes uh i allowed parents who had students in the room children in the room to remove them
00:34:25.820because i was about to convey very sexually explicit content and they didn't even allow me
00:34:31.780the the time and the parents the opportunity to remove them um because they just they don't care
00:34:36.340um and that's bottom line that's that's my opinion and i think it's uh the opinion of many
00:34:42.040of us out there that are that are trying to speak out about this and push back on the school board
00:34:46.380and and say we can't stand for this anymore do you see do you see uh the parent right movement
00:34:53.160is it getting traction even in liberal counties like mecklenburg we see around the rest of the
00:34:57.640country it is but do you feel it's getting um in some of these more liberal counties do you think
00:35:02.200it's getting traction uh it's gaining traction it's slow but with stuff like this uh it's it's
00:35:09.760gaining more traction i think parents i can't tell you how many parents over the last two years just
00:35:14.320didn't even believe me that this stuff was in in our schools and our libraries and in the classrooms
00:35:19.720now um obviously on on reading lists but by bringing attention to this and having parents
00:35:25.060actually say, oh my goodness, my kid could be reading this in the classroom. That's when we
00:35:31.760see more people start to step up, write the school board, call in. I can't tell you how much
00:35:39.820pressure we just need to put on our school board to say, this is enough. This has to change.
00:35:46.520Tell me, you're Moms for Liberty. What are folks doing right now in this parental rights movement?
00:35:51.120You said we're going to remove you on November 8th.
00:35:54.280Is there a big school board election in Mecklenburg coming up on November 8th?
00:35:57.920Is the entire board up for or is it is it is it staggered?
00:36:02.660So it's staggered. Our at large positions aren't on the ballot until next year, which, as you can tell, the board chair, Elise Dashu, boldly stated at the end that her position was not up this year, shirking all accountability.
00:36:17.840but the district positions are. And so that's why I would say for parents in Mecklenburg County,
00:36:24.260please do your due diligence. Understand who the candidates are that are running.
00:36:30.220Understand the track record of the incumbents. I'm a firm believer of you need to be held
00:36:35.880accountable. You have to show return on investment. Clearly, ROI is not being exhibited at all in CMS.
00:36:43.340us. We had board members that approved a half a million dollars in clear backpacks that we found
00:36:50.980out actually caused cancer. So look at all that money that was wasted taxpayer funding.
00:36:57.900And of course, media isn't going to highlight this. So we have to do our due diligence. We have
00:37:03.680to understand what these board members are accountable for. And if they're not showing
00:37:10.140their ROI, then we need to remove them and we need to put people in place that can get the job

00:37:31.960Mecklenburg County Facebook page is probably the easiest way to get in touch with all of us
00:37:38.080while we still have it. That's really where we can share this material, this content.
00:37:44.600I initially posted the book when it was brought to my attention by the parent of the student who
00:37:49.980found it. I blasted it out on that social media platform. Other parents then actually did their
00:37:57.020due diligence. They went to JM Robinson, which is the school where it was found that it was on the
00:38:02.940the recommended reading list for uh for their seventh graders so that's when really that
00:38:08.880exploded and using those platforms i think is is helpful and then just bringing together
00:38:14.820how did how did they how did they put this book that real america's voice had to take a good bit
00:38:20.920of time to actually censor bleep out your comments just reading from the book how was this book put
00:38:28.380on a recommended reading list for seventh graders how did that happen well technically it's not

00:41:22.460Because I got to tell you, another, I think, group that the Democratic Party has taken for granted, you're seeing right there, just like the Hispanics, just like the African-American men now, you're seeing it from the Muslim community in Dearborn.
00:41:33.980They're not going to have the nuclear family shattered, and they're not going to have their kids messed with, and they're certainly not going to have their kids turned against them.
00:41:44.360Well, Steve, you know, for the vast majority of America, when we had this education system that we have now, it was always moms that were running the PTAs and the school boards and really running our local communities.
00:41:55.380But we got them out of the house and we got them into the workforce and that's fine.
00:41:59.480But now, you know, you're seeing these moms going back in, but now it's finally reaching fever pitch.
00:43:47.100If you want to know what the left's real plan is for your kids, just look at the reaction to the work Patriot Mobile did in multiple school districts in the great state of Texas.
