We re three weeks away from the most important mid-term election in our nation s history, and things are heating up in the Montana race. What s going on in that race and why it s so close to the finish?
00:00:00.000Mark, help help. Help me understand this better, because it's it's just so fascinating because I can't quite figure out how Republicans are duped so easily.
00:00:11.440You have let's talk about the two people that right now a lot of people are fascinated by and talking about and Democrats are so concerned about Donald Trump.
00:00:23.340Democrat for most of his life, gave millions of dollars to Democrats. And no, it wasn't like back in the 1990s.
00:00:32.580He contributed to Kamala Harris's campaign in 2014. Right. Yeah. And then you have Carrie Lake.
00:00:42.260A Barack Hussein Obama supporter. Right. So she was swept up with hope and change, just like Donald Trump was a supporter of Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton and best friends.
00:01:00.680As it seemed at times with Bill Clinton, he loved Democrats. He attacked Ronald Reagan.
00:01:06.360He attacked one Republican after another. How can it be that Republicans embrace these people who were so hostile to the Republican Party,
00:01:18.960to conservatism, to everything that they supposedly care so much about now?
00:01:24.640Well, Joe, that's what's so depressing for those of us on Survivor Island in the Republican Party is that the party has abandoned completely any sense of of ideology or coherent policy that has any kind of framework.
00:01:42.100There's certainly no compassionate conservatism, which first drew me across the bridge.
00:01:45.980And it has simply become transactional about and only retaining power.
00:01:52.760That's all it's about. And we've seen it left and right as the devil's disciples haven't have enabled Trump and others without any kind of principle,
00:02:03.280with the few exceptions of people like Liz Cheney.
00:02:06.800And that's what has really been depressing to me is that there's so few people willing to stand up for any principle anymore in the Republican Party.
00:03:20.280But, Steve, you point out this is this is a race that will determine, I think, the future of the country.
00:03:25.820In my lifetime, certainly this is the most important race that we face.
00:03:29.760And really, on one side, it's we're failing.
00:03:34.240The Biden administration is failing across the board.
00:03:37.000They're failing on foreign shores with Afghanistan, Ukraine and likely Taiwan.
00:03:42.520They're failing domestically with energy, no borders, supply chain.
00:03:47.160We can't even get baby formula on the shelf.
00:03:50.500But, Steve, also we're failing culturally when boys can play women's sports, when they're when they're injecting puberty blocking in junior I and our founding fathers are now racist.
00:05:16.060I mean, Steve, when I'm on the campaign trail, I ask, you know, is there a government agency, department, branch, division that has the full trust and confidence of the people?
00:05:26.820And the answer is shockingly or not shockingly, no.
00:05:30.640That's a distinct difference of the America that we grew up in.
00:05:34.180When the FBI said something, you could take it to the bank.
00:05:36.840And now when the FBI, as you know, says something, the credibility has been lost because of the Russian collusion, because of the tipping of scale with Zuckerberg on the elections, because of the heavy handedness, because of Marlago.
00:06:05.280You know, gasoline, you know, runs pretty high here with the end of the supply chain.
00:06:10.220But people are not convinced that the future is better than the past.
00:06:15.720And American first policy reverses that where it can bring, you know, gas prices down where they should be, curb spending so we can get inflation back down, bring interest rates down, and looking at making sure that people can reach the American dream.
00:06:33.000And in Montana, as you know, guns, guns, guns reign supreme.
00:06:38.540So how does your opponent, who's got to be committed to vote for Pelosi and support the Biden agenda, when you take guns, you know, invasion of the southern border, inflation, the printing of money, overspending, what, what, what did they argue against you as America first?
00:10:09.900But this is the most important election of my lifetime.
00:10:13.520I think it sets the path which way we're going to go.
00:10:16.220Are we going to go to America where families are valued?
00:10:20.320Are we going to go to America where families are discounted?
00:10:22.760Are we going to go to America where boys can play girls' sports and puberty blocking is accepted in schools?
00:10:28.940Or are we going to go to America where our values, both good and bad, of our founding fathers are, we should be proud of America?
00:10:36.300Commander Zinke, Liz Cheney can testify to the stroke that the war room has in Wyoming, and it's got just as much or more in the great state of Montana.
00:10:48.760So I want everybody, where do people go to find out more about your campaign, sir?
00:11:30.120And if we do those type of things and hard on it, 2024 will be a great year for America and wind up saving America and getting back to the American first policies to build strength in our economy and prosperity.
00:12:24.080We're doing really well with black voters and Asian voters as well.
00:12:28.020So, you know, the media, the reason why they were going after me so hard is that I'm a first generation American, son of Syrian immigrants.
00:12:34.700I'm an Army veteran and a prosecutor, and I know how to communicate.
00:18:37.580I mean, look, I've met Marcy quite a few times, and I'm always a gentleman when I meet her.
00:18:42.380And to be honest, Steve, she doesn't even know who I am.
00:18:45.140She always has a blank stare on her face, unfortunately.
00:18:48.200I think her team of left-wing activists, Bernie Bros, from the East Coast, are – they're pretty much in charge of all of her messaging.
00:18:56.900And I've even challenged her campaign manager to a debate since he seems to be the voice of the campaign entirely.
00:19:03.460But I haven't heard anything back from him.
00:19:04.840I want – this is not a serious – you know, we started with Fetterman, who is the cyborg because he can't even function without the computer, okay?
00:19:15.620And we're not picking on him for having the stroke.
00:19:19.160But what he's doing now – and his wife, the reporter that did the big story, I think it was Rolling Stone, said that she's the candidate.
00:19:26.380But in your case, she's playing hide-and-seek.
00:19:30.640She won't come out – why won't she stand up?
00:19:41.900Why can't she stand out in front of the citizens of the district and defend her record, sir?
00:19:48.220I mean, when you look at it, it's just undefendable.
00:19:50.960I mean, to stand on stage and try to defend voting with Biden and Pelosi 100 percent of the time is impossible in a district like this.
00:19:58.960I mean, Ohio, this has become Trump country very, very quickly, and Marcy Kaptur knows that.
00:20:05.600So she's using her spending power, her funding from Nancy Pelosi and Soros, and she's spending millions of dollars attacking my character and not talking anything about what she has done or what she could do for the state of Ohio.
00:20:19.700Now, she's instead just going back to the typical Democratic play, which is assault the character, spread lies, don't debate, and hide in the basement.
00:20:30.820And raise a ton of money from Soros and these outside groups that are not in your district to dump TV ads that just go after the character, don't talk about policies.
00:20:39.400Give me a minute on how did this become Trump country?
00:20:43.400What is it going on that's flipped your district to Trump country, sir?
00:20:47.640Well, I think Ohioans like myself, you know, typically in the in the urban areas like Toledo, we grew up in a blue collar family and, you know, we were raised to be Democrats because that's what everyone was.
00:21:01.500But the Democratic Party left our parents and they left, you know, many adults.
00:21:06.900And we we sought shelter and cover and truth.
00:21:49.200You need patriots on your side and you need to be willing to go out and do the work and develop individual relationships with these voters, not just lie to them and give them, you know, any inclination that you're going to go to Washington, D.C.
00:22:01.480and double and not double down on your commitment.
00:22:03.840Okay, you've got three weeks starting tomorrow.
00:22:07.960This is one of the most important races in the country.
00:28:46.300And that change starts with you and your wallet.
00:28:49.180That's why I'm proud to partner with Public SQ, the largest network of patriotic, freedom-loving businesses and consumers our nation has ever seen.
00:28:57.660Public SQ is the first app to connect freedom-loving Americans with their local community and the businesses that share their values.
00:29:04.960Whether you want to support a restaurant that only buys from local farms, a coffee shop that took a stand against COVID mandates, or a bank that can never cancel you for your political views, Public SQ is your guide.
00:29:18.340There's also interactive, sensor-free community groups where you can connect with other local members.
00:30:04.800We're going to Georgia in a minute to talk about this debate tonight, Stacey Abrams and Governor Kemp.
00:30:08.780And I want you to keep in mind what Richard Barris just said about inflation and the economy, because we've got a little bit of breaking news off of MSNBC.
00:30:15.160We're going to play for you in a second as soon as it renders and we're ready.
00:31:05.660And those Spectrum News polls in New York, if you look at some of those districts that should even be leaning Democrat, Zeldin is ahead in every single one of them.
00:31:14.120So, you know, the Spectrum News, Siena poll is a disaster for Hochul.
00:31:20.080And, you know, I'm always skeptical on, you know, races like that, Steve.
00:31:24.060There's been a lot of working class that have left New York.
00:31:27.120But if this is any year that we could see something like that happen, it would be this year.
00:31:31.760Plus, remember that Citarelli barely lost in New Jersey, folks.
00:32:10.920Richard, speaking of Cary Lake, we're going to have this in a second about Cary Lake in Arizona as we go to Georgia in a second.
00:32:16.240I want to – about House and Senate, as you see it right now, roughly, directionally, where do you see the House and where do you see the Senate?
00:32:23.660We're not going to hold you to a specific number, but just directionally, how big can both of these be?
00:32:27.580You know, the bottom for us in the Senate – I mean, if Republicans had a bad night would be below 52, but we thought a rather even night would be about 52.
00:32:39.000If it's headed in the direction that some of these polls suggest it is, then you could be above that because that would mean one, if not both, Arizona and New Hampshire will break.
00:33:24.620I think we'll have a new poll out in Wisconsin real soon.
00:33:28.280Ron Johnson's expanding his lead since we were the first ones to show him in the lead.
00:33:32.980That race, you know, I don't – again, I don't want to sow complacency, but that race, Johnson, he came back with a fury.
00:33:41.300He took a beating all through the summer and then just came back and did what Ron Johnson does best.
00:33:46.860Laxalt, I think, you know, it's probably going to be a smaller lead than – of course, than Johnson, but it's still a solid lead.
00:33:53.540I think Georgia Walker would be down big if those stories worked on him.
00:33:57.940He put in a great debate performance, and I think the way that things are moving right now, if the country goes plus five Republican, understand that Georgia is five points more Republican than the nation as a whole.
00:34:10.480So it would be very difficult for Warnock to hold on.
00:34:13.560At this point, I really do think we're just talking about the Senate races in Arizona and New Hampshire at this point.
00:34:20.340And I think that, like I told you last week, people are just afraid to put Oz in the lead.
00:34:24.740All the big ones you think are holds then, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Wisconsin, the big four.
00:34:30.000Okay, real quickly, the House, give me 60 seconds of where you see the House breaking right now.
00:34:36.160You know, in Labor Day around that period, I was thinking, you know, Republicans could be blowing this because, you know, Kevin McCarthy does not want a big MAGA majority.
00:34:44.540So he's doing everything as power, including J.R. Majewski, by the way, to keep this manageable so he doesn't end up like John Boehner.
00:34:51.180But that's not how this works, and, you know, that's not how midterms works, and it worked.
00:34:56.140And if that levy breaks, then you're looking at, you know, 40 seats.
00:39:45.100We've got several white-hot pieces up at Revolver.
00:39:51.560And the one I'd like to talk about today is entitled, California's new pro-kidnapping bill is pure evil, and here's why Republicans must copy it in every red state.
00:40:03.760And so people don't know there's this insane law.
00:40:08.100California just passed with the help of this individual called Senator Scott Weiner.
00:40:14.620You need to go to the piece just to look at the picture of this guy.
00:40:17.900The picture in this case really is worth more than a thousand words.
00:40:21.800His claim to fame is he co-authored a bill that lowered the penalty for intentionally spreading HIV.
00:40:28.740He also spearheaded a bill that would reduce the penalty for sexual contact with minors, like all kinds of wild San Francisco-type stuff that this guy's been pushing.
00:40:42.020And his magnum opus here is a bill that would literally help parents kidnap their children in order to force them to become transgender, to force a surgery on them.
00:40:55.040Basically, what they do is they say, okay, a bunch of states are posing restrictions on child transgender surgeries and such.
00:41:04.500We are going to pass a law in California that totally negates that, that doesn't recognize any of these other states' laws.
00:41:13.120We won't comply with any of your subpoenas, and we'll make enforcing criminal acts in other states relative to these laws the lowest enforcement priority.
00:41:23.300So it's basically saying California is a sanctuary state for people who want to force this kind of stuff on their children against the laws of other states,
00:41:34.820and in many cases even against the other parent, because sometimes one parent is really pushing this and the other one doesn't like it.
00:41:41.280So it's a very dark Orwellian, very much a California-San Francisco-type dystopian piece of legislation.
00:41:50.840But the good news is it can actually be copied.
00:41:56.560Actually, the mindset that it reflects is something very powerful because a lot of people just sit back waiting for, you know, a favorable presidential election to save us.
00:42:06.660But it actually shows the people playing around with California to destroy the country and to weaponize California to destroy the country.
00:42:13.020They have it right in the sense that we are totally underutilizing red states, totally underutilizing red states.
00:42:21.500And one thing we can do is we could pass an actual patriotic version of this bill and say states won't recognize other states that try to force crantified children.
00:42:32.060States won't recognize other states that unconstitutionally infringe on the right to bear arms.
00:42:37.740There's so many other applications of this model.
00:42:41.720Is the piece go into this part of it, the red state part of it?
00:49:05.200And we definitely need everyone to participate, have an uncensored discussion, and to end Stacey Abrams and just to tear her apart in the Getter chat room.
00:49:19.540Grace has a very nice and calm exterior.
00:49:23.320The Twitter or the Getter comes in a little hot.
00:49:27.600So, Grace, once again, where do people go?
