Bannon's War Room - Episode 2308： What To Expect For The House In 2023; We Had A Hollowing Out Of America And Now It Is Time To Fill It

00:00:00.000 this is the final scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to medieval

00:00:10.640 on these people you're just not going to free shot all these networks lying about the people

00:00:16.800 the people have had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you've tried

00:00:20.820 to do everything in the world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen

00:00:24.000 and where do people like that go to share the big line mega media i wish in my soul i wish that any

00:00:32.000 of these people had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer

00:00:39.280 is to save my country this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k van

00:00:47.660 it's wednesday the 16th of november in the year of our lord 2022 and you are in the war room want to

00:00:56.660 start today uh with one of the great conservatives of our country matt rosendale congressman from

00:01:02.900 montana sir you caused a little controversy i think it was on montana radio earlier today we're going to

00:01:07.700 try to get it caught up here that you said that you're one of the folks yesterday in these leadership

00:01:12.740 conferences that voted against um uh mccarthy um can you walk through the reason for i think it's

00:01:21.020 only one or two of you matt gates being the other have come forward and i think andy biggs can you

00:01:25.800 walk through uh why you voted against him sir oh absolutely very easy also my good friend from

00:01:32.880 virginia represented bob good he's he's amongst us it's come out publicly it's a secret ballot on the

00:01:38.480 conference nomination process and i think that's the first point that everybody really needs to

00:01:43.600 understand the speaker was not elected yesterday what happened yesterday was the republicans nominated

00:01:49.360 their candidate to run for speaker it takes 218 votes in order to be elected as speaker uh kevin

00:01:57.820 mccarthy received 188 votes yesterday there's a group of us that really were vocal about it but there's a

00:02:05.340 lot more people among the conference that feel this way and that is they want their voices to be heard

00:02:11.700 the rules need to be restored to where they were prior to nancy pelosi taking the gavel so that each 1.00

00:02:18.980 member of congress uh truly uh is able to represent their district that's what representative government

00:02:25.240 is about and they're supposed to be able to do so in an equal fashion and unfortunately congress has

00:02:30.840 consolidated power within the speaker and the nine people who sit on the rules committee that the

00:02:36.700 speaker selects uh him or herself and and so the rest of us don't have that much of a voice and what

00:02:43.360 the general public doesn't understand is that's where the legislation comes out to the floor and and you're

00:02:49.320 asked to give a yes or no vote on it without really having the ability to participate in the crafting of

00:02:56.620 that legislation i served in the in the montana legislature as you referenced and i was the

00:03:02.280 majority leader in the senate i understand how legislation is supposed to be crafted and passed

00:03:09.260 in a collaborative process and we don't have that taking place now the group that that voted against

00:03:16.260 kevin most of them i will tell you participated in a process to provide to him amendments to the rules

00:03:24.920 uh to amend this procedure so that we could all participate and we put it in writing and we submitted

00:03:31.620 to him months ago and he is just unwilling to uh adopt that uh to empower each of the members of

00:03:39.560 congress to serve their constituents and that being said i refuse to elect the same people utilizing the

00:03:47.340 same rules that uh keep us from members like me from participating and hoping that that i'll have

00:03:54.860 a different outcome so we're going to we're going to have a change

00:03:58.000 well hang on a second because i think this is it's being portrayed as a personality contest that

00:04:05.680 mccarthy's not tough enough there's all types of things people want to do you're saying it's

00:04:10.460 something even different there's a structural problem and you're saying that the speaker has

00:04:15.820 grabbed just like the executive branch has become so powerful around the president you're saying

00:04:19.420 in the in the house that they've structurally put all the power around the speaker and he gets a

00:04:25.440 handful of his buddies on the rules committee they basically run the deal and then you get a 3 000

00:04:30.420 page bill they give you an hour to review it and they want to they want they they whip and they want

00:04:36.460 they want a yes vote and it's that structure you're going after structural and kind of systemic issues

00:04:42.860 correct that is absolutely correct steve you know i told the people of montana that i'm coming up here

00:04:50.520 to make changes and the way that we're going to make changes is to change that process and it's not even

00:04:56.860 a radical a deviation from from the standards if you will this is merely to restore the process to

00:05:05.360 where it had been previously our founding fathers would not recognize the way that congress

00:05:10.840 functions right now it is dysfunctional and and this is a way that we can get back to having

00:05:16.560 uh the body collaborate amend discuss debate and and pass or uh kill legislation and hopefully it can

00:05:26.420 be done in a manner where you don't have a 2 000 page document that you're trying to force through

00:05:32.120 that's a trillion and a half dollars and contains probably 15 or 20 bill titles you can have a single

00:05:40.260 subject debate it pass it or or defeat it on its own merits

00:05:44.960 at 222 or 223 which they think think now may be the number he's got to get he can only lose four

00:05:53.900 or five votes right so people have tremendous amount of leverage here obviously you you guys believe

00:05:59.700 that he'll crater on this uh he'd rather be speaker with your process than not speaker and have

00:06:06.380 somebody else become speaker with i take it if it's jordan or stefanic or scalise or whoever banks

00:06:13.620 or whoever else is up there you got you're a no vote until you get changes to this process you don't

00:06:18.700 care who's in the slot that absolutely correct this is about the process that is what we are focused on

00:06:26.600 with the process must be changed and it must be uh changed in a fashion that we can enforce it there's

00:06:33.920 got to be a hammer to make sure that we can enforce it or else we're just going to be like the you know

00:06:39.920 the rock song you're going to change the names and we all get fooled again and i won't be

00:06:46.140 how this is something that just didn't come up right this consolidation of power and the speakers both on

00:06:55.000 the republican and democrat side it's been oh for a while how and you said you guys came forward what a

00:07:00.800 couple of months ago to give him a heads up to say we're going to do this did they just blow you off

00:07:05.580 and think you're bluffing because i know people have talked about this before they just think you're

00:07:09.520 bluffing and that you eventually go away well what happened is that's when uh he thought that he was

00:07:15.900 going to have 240 or 250 uh 260 my golly six months ago they they thought we're talking about 270 seats

00:07:24.620 uh in congress for the republicans and so yeah we were basically told to go pound sand um i think

00:07:31.980 that's a latin term you may have used it before but they they were not willing to have a conversation

00:07:37.400 at all and this was presented in writing so that this is no um surprise this is no you know tactic

00:07:46.040 that that was just brought up over the last week to try to uh make these changes this was put in writing

00:07:51.680 months ago and we were trying to make sure that each member of congress is going to be able to

00:07:58.700 represent their districts their constituents and participate in this process what what for the

00:08:06.160 folks out in montana and they've now zinky they've broken up western montana one district and eastern to

00:08:11.280 the other and you're an eastern montana rancher what difference is it going to make for the folks in

00:08:16.720 your district to have the the structure your way versus what mccarthy currently has and wants

00:08:21.360 we'll be able to participate so instead of having these monstrosities of legislation that just come

00:08:28.040 through and and are forced through uh without any participation from the floor we literally will be

00:08:34.140 able to go down and and propose an amendment and it's going to give the individual uh representatives

00:08:40.140 the opportunity to craft and and participate in that process to improve the legislation and and then again

00:08:48.200 my hope is that we can reduce down the number of of bills that are compiled into uh one piece of

00:08:55.260 legislation so that each each bill can be discussed debated uh and amended and and passed or defeated on

00:09:04.160 its own merits a great uh friend of this show and someone who's kind of the wingman of mad gates marjorie

00:09:12.760 taylor green it says hey i love rosendahl and and uh and good and these guys but they're playing with fire

00:09:19.080 because if they continue down their path you're going to have liz cheney as a as a speaker working with the 1.00

00:09:25.360 democrats what say you sir red herring that's just that's a veiled threat that people are trying to utilize

00:09:34.120 to scare us from from making this change steve we cannot continue to elect the same people and grant

00:09:41.200 them the same privileges and process that eliminate participation from the body of congress and think

00:09:47.680 that anything up here is going to change we're going to continue to run trillion dollar deficits

00:09:52.620 we're going to continue to pile trillions of dollars onto the national debt and we're going to continue

00:09:58.380 to have legislation that expands the role of the federal government and that is not what i was sent

00:10:04.440 here to do we have to make changes we have to uh restore federalism and allow our states to function

00:10:13.120 the way that they are supposed to and were designed to do and the only way that we're going to do that

00:10:17.780 and shrink the uh the role of the federal government is to empower congress so that we can achieve that

00:10:24.620 so you're saying actually this is not a personality thing this you're looking for

00:10:30.800 you actually are to them kind of a revolutionary you want regime change have to have regime change

00:10:36.920 we have to look kevin's a pleasant person he's great at fundraising uh he's a guy that you would

00:10:41.920 like to have at the party to talk to everybody he recruited a lot of candidates wonderful go ahead

00:10:47.520 and play that role look i've had businesses of my own and i still have businesses to this day

00:10:53.100 and just because someone is a a great salesperson doesn't mean that i put them in charge of an

00:10:58.460 entire uh division of a company or an office everybody has to recognize where their their

00:11:04.300 skill sets are and when you're willing to uh promise anything to anyone to uh consolidate that

00:11:13.300 power so that you are the one making all of the decisions and you're not willing to disperse it out

00:11:19.660 so that you can have buy-in from the body it's very problematic and and we have seen over the

00:11:26.440 last several years what the byproduct of that is and so the only way that we're going to be able to

00:11:31.520 change that is to go back and restore again we are not trying to propose radical ideas and concepts that

00:11:39.500 have never been utilized before this this is a restoration of congress

00:11:44.520 what do you we got a couple minutes left what do you want to see accomplished and what do you think

00:11:51.800 is the must be accomplished given this a mandate that the uh that the american people have given

00:11:57.660 the republicans in the house to fire nancy pelosi no matter how small a majority and it puts you guys

00:12:03.060 in charge what are the two or three things you think must be accomplished the we absolutely have

00:12:09.000 to use in the house of representatives our um authority with the power of the purse to make

00:12:15.000 these changes and we can do that again if you empower all of the members of congress we have to

00:12:21.560 develop a budget and we have to appropriate the funds that's what we're charged with and that hasn't

00:12:26.680 been done for several years three going on four years now and we can use that process to make sure

00:12:31.980 that we secure our southern border and i think that we should also use it to make sure that we

00:12:37.320 increase our domestic energy production if we took care of those two things it would it would reverberate 0.74

00:12:43.800 out to so many other issues that we're experiencing right now problems that we're experiencing right

00:12:48.820 now that the biden administration has calls for us the energy production is going to help bring down

00:12:53.240 energy costs it's going to help reduce inflation it's going to help reduce the cost of of your groceries

00:12:58.720 in the grocery store and then if we secure the southern border congress secure reduce crime

00:13:04.240 congress congressman if they pass a two trillion dollar discretionary spending part of an appropriations

00:13:10.480 bill in this lame duck with no no other way to pay for it but the print money at the federal reserve

00:13:15.740 is america looking towards an economic and financial catastrophe i think that we have been building

00:13:22.220 towards an economic catastrophe for quite some time now based upon where the inflation rates are

00:13:28.500 and the supply chains and and every single uh economic indicator that that we're watching it's it's it's

00:13:36.420 very very problematic uh congressman do you think there's enough votes as you see it right now to

00:13:44.440 deny kevin mccarthy the speakership oh there absolutely is kevin received 188 votes again not to not

00:13:52.200 210 not 200 not 190 188 he's going to have to to find 30 votes and based upon the margin of uh of a

00:14:02.000 majority that you were just discussing where we're going to be probably at 222 223

00:14:07.280 five votes does not does not replace 30

00:14:11.020 congressman how do people get to you what's your social media or your website

00:14:16.540 oh goodness gracious matt matt for montana matt for montana.com

00:14:23.600 people are going to be following you now you realize that i got out of campaign mode steve you

00:14:31.120 caught me off guard

00:14:32.320 you're revolutionary people want to follow you now thank you congressman thanks love the folks out

00:14:40.180 there in montana i will thanks brother you too sir short break we're gonna go back

00:14:46.520 to mar-a-lago we're gonna talk about a presidential run two years of the grinder next in the war room

00:14:52.920 you know what's never good when your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely

00:15:05.920 misses the flashing red lights of impending inflation now treasury secretary janet yellen

00:15:12.120 has finally admitted quote there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy

00:15:17.320 that have boosted energy and food prices and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly

00:15:22.820 that i didn't at the time fully understand end quote you know who understands the real threat of

00:16:23.500 nobody has ever done what we've done in the last four years their entire economic plan tax cuts for

00:16:31.920 the rich and corporations and record-breaking unemployment the worst jobs report on record

00:16:36.820 trump is the only modern president to leave office with fewer jobs than when he took office the trump

00:16:42.100 administration formally asking the supreme court to overturn the affordable care act this could leave

00:16:47.140 up to 23 million americans without coverage i hope you also had people that were very fine people

00:16:56.920 on both sides do you believe in punishment for abortion yes or no there has to be some form of

00:17:01.380 punishment for the woman yeah there has to be some form and if i win we will treat those people from 1.00

00:17:07.940 january 6th fairly and if it requires pardons we will give them pardons

00:17:13.760 trump this time around have staying power

00:17:19.760 yeah i'm welcoming all my new never trump brethren it took them seven years but you know better late than

00:17:27.560 never uh the water is warm over here yeah here's the problem isn't it it doesn't really matter what

00:17:33.200 hedge fund guys in new york or bloggers for the national review or backbench senators think about

00:17:40.260 donald trump 2024 it matters what republican voters think you know and vaughn and i were in arizona last

00:17:45.920 week or went to some carrie lake events the type of voters at those events to me don't seem like they're

00:17:51.280 ready to move on maybe they will be eventually you know and and maybe they've seen enough and they've

00:17:55.660 they've gotten sick of the losing and that they're ready to to look to somewhere else to a new

00:18:00.520 generation and if that and if that is the case then i think donald trump is very vulnerable but but

00:18:06.020 all these kingmakers donald trump won in 2016 without any of these kingmakers he didn't have

00:18:10.180 any endorsements he didn't have any money it was him and his golf caddy and hope hicks on the on an 0.95

00:18:14.720 airplane and he won the primary uh so so these guys think that they're more important than they are

00:18:20.460 and i you know i welcome anybody that wants to oppose them i i hope people actively oppose them

00:18:25.520 in the in the primary but but i i think that we're getting a little over our skis if we're

00:18:30.040 if we're ready to bury them until we hear more from actual rank and file republican voters

00:18:34.800 okay i want to bring in uh boris uh epstein uh boris that's tim miller used to be at the rnc and now

00:18:43.300 is you know either wearing pukas or pearls we can't figure it out over there at msnbc he's also does a

00:18:48.920 circus he and i uh kind of went at it uh at a carry lake event last week the first part of that

00:18:54.120 boris interestingly enough i think was on the official government uh site of biden uh attacking

00:19:00.000 president trump i i don't know if that's a hatch act violation or whatever but uh it's quite odd he

00:19:06.580 would be going after president trump so hard tell me about tim tim miller basically took on the

00:19:10.940 steve schwartzman's lead story in the new york post today the abandonment of donald trump all the

00:19:16.040 big hedge fund guys you've got the national review had the had the story up there the very nasty

00:19:20.600 story not now not ever uh and of course you got a bunch of as tim miller says a bunch of backbench

00:19:25.960 senators saying it's guys guys you never heard of from north dakota right kramer and these guys

00:19:31.580 saying it's time to move on uh what what's your what's your sense is tim miller right uh that the

00:19:36.600 is he he was out there he followed carry lake he's seen the trump base he's seen the trump voter

00:19:41.380 he knows these guys he's this reason he left the rnc because he didn't like uh the populist

00:19:46.760 nationalist movement he's decided he'd just rather go be a liberal and live in san francisco boris

00:19:51.480 epstein steve honor to be with you honor to be with the posse let me tell you this tim miller has

00:19:56.620 not been right in a long time but he's right on this one president trump is the irrefutable undeniable

00:20:02.980 undisputable leader of the maga movement and of the republican party and the party is the electorate

00:20:08.680 it isn't you know a bunch of people sitting around you know what this is the backbench of

00:20:12.880 cynthia loomis i think from my i didn't even heard of it okay uh here's the bottom line here's the

00:20:18.360 bottom line as if the establishment chooses to come at president trump as they are now that all that is

00:20:24.520 doing is handing the president the win in the primary and the general even quicker than he's going

00:20:29.760 to get it out otherwise because if the establishment were for the president that would be an anchor

00:20:34.440 nobody wants them this is 2015 2016 all over again steve you and i were there we know exactly

00:20:40.440 how it was we are the upstart the uprising that's what we are that's why the the the theme from

00:20:48.040 lay miss played yesterday right before president trump's walk on music because we are the undeniable

00:20:54.800 irrefutable and disputable minority rising up against rising up against the establishment

00:21:01.700 we are the outsiders and the people are with us the establishment wants to come at us let them come

00:21:07.680 at us but we're going to win the primary we're going to win the general we're going to keep on

00:21:11.740 winning we're going to get our country back because we've had a hollowing out and then get

00:21:16.080 country yeah we've had a hollowing out of the american family get to uh-huh

00:21:20.700 keep going sir we've had a hollowing out of the american family unit a hollowing out of of america

00:21:29.280 and for those who think for those who think that an upstart uprising campaign led by donald j trump

00:21:37.320 is anything but a juggernaut they are going to be proven wrong one more time this campaign reflects

00:21:44.040 the president it is authentic it is strong it is all american and it is all about taking our country

00:21:50.120 back if joe biden wants to post things on his website let him anyway tim miller is right

00:21:54.180 the people who are the people who choose the people who choose are the minority among you know the fancy 0.57

00:22:01.820 elected but they're the majority the overwhelming huge majority of the american populace and the

00:22:08.820 american populace is what the president hang on i want i want to make sure by the way you were there

00:22:15.000 at 15 at 16 and in 14 quite frankly um i want to be blunt about this and i said this you know they're

00:22:22.460 looking for a vessel ron de santis came out today and this is my point about santis it was very classy

00:22:27.500 he says hey everybody's got chill out says i just want again i got a lot of work to do i'm going to work

00:22:32.000 right i don't want to be bothered anymore about civil war and all this stuff the the the issue here

00:22:38.280 is not yunkin and de santis the issue here is ken griffin and steve schwartzman and rupert murdoch and

00:22:45.100 i the show ends today in the lead story it's boring to be like you and i wrote it wrote the copy and put

00:22:52.480 it up the lead story was trump abandoned by the hedge fund guys and all the big donors on the new york

00:22:57.340 post love it used to be the most the most pro trump used to be the most pro trump uh newspaper in the

00:23:04.460 country a tabloid but still a fantastic thing but owned by the murdochs it broke with the great 1.00

00:23:09.120 miranda divine it broke the story on the laptop from hell and took a huge risk there uh but it's

00:23:13.960 you know murdoch is open he doesn't want trump i think he says he's talked to the president that

00:23:18.060 fox is not going to support him the wall street journal is not going to support him new york post

00:23:22.100 you got schwartzman ken griffin and rupert murdoch that's who trump's running against he's not running

00:23:29.160 against yunkin or or pompeo or or or ron desantis he's running against those three guys they're

00:23:35.180 looking for a vehicle and it's not even against trump it's against this audience they want your

00:23:41.420 vote and they want your tax dollars and they want your children and they don't want anything else

00:23:45.360 why don't you keep your mouth shut go ahead go ahead it's against trumpism it's against national

00:23:49.140 popular let's be honest it's against america and it's for the chinese communist party ken griffin

00:23:55.140 steve schwartzman all these huge hedge funds they're not here for us they're not here for

00:24:01.820 america they're not here for people struggling to to make enough money to buy gas because of the

00:24:07.480 runaway prices they are here to sell our country down the river and president trump is standing up

00:24:12.600 for our country that's what this campaign is all about and by the way president as he said in speech

00:24:16.840 yesterday this pause that drew the stark contrast stark contrast between the shining city on a hill that

00:24:24.340 our country can be and was under president's law and the secular pathetic sad state of our country 1.00

00:24:30.700 and everything from the border to gas prices to inflation and that to national security that it

00:24:36.260 is now is the best argument for why it is not just positive not just important but vital to bring

00:24:45.780 president trump back and to save our country and everyone knows no one else can do it everyone

00:24:51.540 around the sanders knows he can't do it right now hey ron's done a good job down in florida that's

00:24:55.360 fine but this we have we have a this isn't again this isn't just serious this is life dependent we

00:25:03.620 have an existential crisis in this country and we need the broadest strongest shoulders possible

00:25:08.200 and that's president donald j trump and you know what if the globalists want to be you know running

00:25:12.360 away from him great that is an even better argument why every voter in michigan in pennsylvania

00:25:18.340 in wisconsin and ohio and all across the country needs to be standing up for president trump

00:25:23.420 but uh boris people need to get your morning newsletter into following on social media now

00:25:31.120 more than ever since you're you know you're you're running around and you're always engaged in these

00:25:35.660 very important um consultations on legal and also on the campaign how do people follow you

00:25:41.860 it's an honor steve everybody's signing up thank you so much sign up right now hot on the website

00:25:46.580 boris cp.com sign up right now boris cp.com hot on getter at boris cp on twitter at boris cp

00:25:51.880 hot on true social at boris hottest on the gram boris underscore upside stay strong god bless all

00:25:57.500 offense and i'll talk to you tomorrow all offense thank you very much boris i want to make sure

00:26:03.400 everybody gets that and gets uh up there um i want to play can we play the tim miller clip

00:26:08.260 just one more time before we go to break and hopefully cortez is already up can see this i don't

00:26:12.500 have time on the other side i want to play tim miller who i tangled with tim tim's a very smart

00:26:16.980 guy look he's does he cannot stand trump or the trump movement but he's a smart guy let's listen

00:26:23.100 to tim miller trump this time around have staying power

00:26:26.300 yeah i'm welcoming all my new never trump brethren it took them seven years but you know

00:26:33.440 better late than never uh the water is warm over here yeah here's the problem isn't ike it doesn't

00:26:38.700 really matter what hedge fund guys in new york or bloggers for the national review or backbench

00:26:45.340 senators think about donald trump 2024 it matters what republican voters think you know and vaughn and

00:26:51.120 i were in arizona last week or went to some carrie lake events the type of voters at those events to

00:26:56.740 me don't seem like they're ready to move on maybe they will be eventually you know and and maybe

00:27:01.080 they've seen enough and they've they've gotten sick of the losing and then they're ready to to look

00:27:05.820 somewhere else to a new generation and if that and if that is the case then i think donald trump is

00:27:11.100 very vulnerable but but all these kingmakers donald trump won in 2016 without any of these

00:27:15.700 kingmakers he didn't have any endorsements he didn't have any money it was him and his golf caddy

00:27:19.680 and hope hicks on the on an airplane and he won the primary uh so so these guys think that they're

00:27:26.000 more important than they are and i you know i welcome anybody that wants to oppose them i i hope

00:27:30.880 people actively oppose them in the in the primary but but i i i think that we're getting a little

00:27:35.300 over our skis if we're if we're ready to bury them until we hear more from actual rank and file

00:27:40.540 republican voters steve give me uh 20 seconds before we go to break you agree the hedge funds

00:27:47.340 ken griffin and steve schwartzman rupert murnacht are not gonna make a decision here correct

00:27:51.760 100 and listen yeah tim miller is rarely correct he's correct about this republican

00:27:57.920 okay short commercial break

00:28:08.420 steve cortez next we'll get that sound fixed

00:29:48.320 records the national association of home builders let me show if we can pull up chart number one

00:29:52.020 please this came out today the nahb home builder index which just continues to careen lower it has now

00:29:59.440 been down now steve no that's a that's real earnings that's from the last time if we if we have chart one

00:30:04.700 on nhb let's show it but i can describe it too it has now gone down 11 straight months and it has now

00:30:11.380 hit other than the spring of 2020 lockdowns if we take out that very brief period it has now hit the

00:30:16.300 worst levels in 10 years so the housing market because of a lack of affordability because of soaring

00:30:22.800 soaring interest rates because of problems remaining problems in the supply chain housing is absolutely

00:30:27.420 falling apart and with it home builder confidence so this to put this in context this home builder

00:30:33.240 index steve it was at 84 earlier this year it chimed in today at 33 so it has been more than cut

00:30:40.400 in half so far this year and if we have chart number two what is that tell us what that so target is a

00:30:47.660 company that we've talked about hang on one second steve walk me through that the drop from 84 to 33 is

00:30:55.060 that what is that i know it cuts it in half but what does that mean so what it means is again

00:31:01.540 accepting the very brief period when when the home builder index tanked in march and april of 2020 okay

00:31:07.640 when we had a massive decline but very temporary decline thankfully other than that we have not seen

00:31:13.700 these levels in a decade and then i would see the chart that shows how precipitous this decline is if we go

00:31:21.040 back historically by the way this this uh index goes back decades the nhb housing index it goes back

00:31:25.400 decades for most of the last 30 years or so for a generation steve this index has traded basically in

00:31:31.740 the 60s and 70s in really good times gets up into the 80s and 90s gets down occasionally into the 40s and

00:31:36.660 50s it has now collapsed to 33 i mean that's my point this isn't just an economy that's in a recession

00:31:42.760 we're in an incredibly deep recession and if we don't make some quick policy fixes if this is if this

00:31:48.260 incoming gop house doesn't take the imperative doesn't take the mandate that has been handed to

00:31:52.320 it i don't care if it's a slim majority it's still a mandate to start fixing this economy then this bad

00:31:58.000 recession that we're currently in could very well slip into a

00:32:01.060 right i view about just how bad the situation is and how imperiled the consumer is if we can pull

00:32:09.440 a chart number two of target stores target is of course one of the biggest retailers in america

00:32:13.160 and steve often when i pull up these charts i want to point out two things number one number one

00:32:16.920 i'm not trying to pick on this company i don't know if this stock is a buy or sell that's not my

00:32:20.820 point here i also don't particularly like the management of target stores because it's incredibly

00:32:24.360 woke but putting that aside it's a really important read on the health of the u.s consumer well target

00:32:30.400 had a terrible earnings report and it went and it went down 13 today steve that's a crazy hit for a

00:32:38.400 company that is as big and mature a business as target so tgt as we show in there on the chart

00:32:43.940 has been an absolute free fall for an entire year it is is now 39 off of the highs of one year ago so

00:32:51.740 again steve that's not showing us a recession that is showing us a deep deep recession that borders on

00:32:58.720 a depression when we put that housing uh chart together with this target news what that tells

00:33:03.340 everyone is that this economy is absolutely crashing into the ditch and action is needed and thankfully

00:33:09.640 we didn't do as well as we wanted to do a week ago that's for sure but we did get control of the house

00:33:14.000 okay it's something that we should celebrate but celebrate for about two seconds because we have

00:33:18.160 work to do and the incoming house and i lay it out of my new sub stack article what exactly the house

00:33:23.000 needs to do and the the the quick takeaway american energy american energy has to be unleashed and the

00:33:29.860 house needs to be willing to engage in brinkmanship it needs to be willing to go all the way to the mat

00:33:34.200 uh and it needs to be willing to risk a government shutdown if necessary to get your body to again

00:33:40.240 unleash the power of american energy to get inflation under control and to stop the kind of free fall

00:33:45.800 that we see in the home builder index and in target stores so by the way when target stores drops that

00:33:53.740 much because they're forecasting how bad christmas is going to be christmas is not going to bail these

00:33:58.200 people out in fact this is going to be the exact opposite they're just going to be selling inventory

00:34:02.140 in any inventory it's going to be the opposite also jeff bezos came out today said people shouldn't

00:34:07.800 be buying homes they shouldn't be buying cars uh i think the overall debt of the american consumer

00:34:12.380 16 trillion dollars and that's that was all structured lower interest rates you've got a

00:34:17.960 massive uh tsunami talk to me about that because they've been talking about all the unemployment's

00:34:22.440 fine the unemployment's fine and the consumer hasn't felt it and we kept saying hey watch when it hits

00:34:27.660 it's going to hit like a sledgehammer now you have amazon dropping 10 000 people this is why

00:34:33.300 bezos says hey people shouldn't be buying stuff right now now's the time to be hunkering down

00:34:37.740 and you've got this massive already you already got the debt that's kind of gotten them to date now

00:34:43.560 they're having to do that to actually pay for food and for and for the electrical bill steve cortez

00:34:48.240 that's exactly right steve so the american consumer uh so far has only coped with biden's price hikes

00:34:54.780 through credit cards and we've demonstrated that several times with the charts i've shown on this

00:34:58.480 show and the chalk talks that i've done credit card debt card debt has exploded that's always a

00:35:03.220 dangerous game even in the best of times but it's particularly dangerous at a time of rising interest

00:35:07.080 rates and we know from the federal reserve's very direct comments over the weekend the most direct

00:35:11.140 comments i've ever seen out of the fed they're nowhere near done raising interest rates so those

00:35:16.040 indebted consumers their situation is going to get even worse just trying to service that debt

00:35:20.980 they are tapped out as far as piling on additional debt and you know you mentioned amazon the fact

00:35:27.080 that amazon is laying off workers into the holiday season into what should be its banner quarter

00:35:33.240 its banner weeks ahead is very telling i would also point out in a related move uh fedex freight

00:35:39.520 so not the overnight shipping but more of the cargo and regular shipping aspects of fedex freight

00:35:43.560 they just furloughed thousands of drivers again into what should be the very busiest time of the

00:35:50.900 year for them so when we combine what fedex told us what amazon told us with what we saw today from

00:35:55.380 target that tells us that we have unfortunately a miserable christmas shopping season ahead why

00:36:01.020 because biden has crushed middle and lower income americans they simply don't have the ammunition anymore

00:36:06.820 to go shopping the way they would have in past years so the job cuts are coming unfortunately

00:36:11.120 uh probably in mass that's just the reality and again you know i i can't state enough the the

00:36:16.880 imperative here the urgency of this steve our economy is falling off a cliff but we have a lever i wish we

00:36:23.640 had more had more levers but we had a lever and that is the gop house we have control the gop house

00:36:27.880 we need a lion in charge at the speaker speaker's gavel and of course you know i don't believe that's

00:36:32.720 mccarthy but we need a lion to step up to take on joe biden to unleash american energy again to start to fix

00:36:39.580 this mess and start healing this incredible economic pain that bedevils so much of our society

00:36:44.980 right now look the orgy that's about this it's starting right now they're going to have appropriations

00:36:52.280 bill that's going to be a trillion to two trillion dollars a discretionary spending unfunded not the

00:36:56.720 transfer payments of medicaid medicare and social security why um the the existing house

00:37:04.700 is going to be under pressure to pass that because i say hey tough economic times people getting laid

00:37:09.380 off it's the same story how do you and we don't have control and by the way we could have control

00:37:14.160 by blocking this and making that appropriations bill start in the new congress what is your

00:37:19.020 recommendation on that what is your recommendation on spending let's leave the energy part aside

00:37:22.700 understand that you're prepared to do cortez says if you don't do brinksmanship on energy and i might

00:37:28.360 add they're over at cop 27 talking the exact opposite in fact henry kishner saying what a great job biden's

00:37:35.120 doing talking to xi about uh about climate change right about working together with uh with china

00:37:41.120 which is only the biggest polluter in the world so that we're so far apart ideologically where do you

00:37:46.760 think we start yeah well and steve by the way that's my point why we have to be willing to enter into

00:37:54.040 the brinkmanship right this is probably an unbridgeable gap but guess what the american people

00:37:58.200 just took the gavel away from nancy pelosi thank god and they're going to give it to a republican 0.98

00:38:02.880 and i hope they're a plug and not kevin mccarthy but whoever it is uh we need that speaker and we need

00:38:09.100 the 220 or so gop house members to have resolve of steel because the hour is so late regarding the

00:38:15.780 american economy and to your point steve absolutely the exorbitant borrowing and spending has to be

00:38:20.740 restrained uh and i think that is an incredibly important job for the incoming congress my point

00:38:25.440 is that will take some time unleashing american energy could happen literally starting day one

00:38:30.860 pipelines could be permitted drilling could be permitted uh if we if we call joe biden to task

00:38:36.580 if the house gop does that to your point too about this interim period this is a dangerous zone that

00:38:41.480 we're in right now right this lame duck session you're exactly correct because unfortunately on the

00:38:47.240 senate side where we actually have more levers right now on the house side because we're in the

00:38:50.520 there's not as much we can do but on the senate side i really want to encourage the audience out

00:38:54.740 there to pressure your senators to not use these coming weeks as some sort of ridiculous free-for-all

00:39:02.340 period where they where they feel that they are emboldened to massively spend and borrow when we

00:39:07.120 already have an inflationary spiral that is out of control in this country i would also add

00:39:10.980 particularly don't spend on boondoggles like ukraine the last 24 hours or so of news cycle in ukraine

00:39:17.600 show us just how dangerous that situation is um and just what a charlatan zelensky is the idea of

00:39:24.220 funneling tens of billions of dollars to that man and to escalating that struggle which further

00:39:29.200 escalates global inflation is one of the worst things we could possibly do in the coming weeks

00:39:32.900 so let's pressure those gop senators to hold the line and not allow that to happen 0.51

00:39:39.120 when steve talks about dangerous situations not as biden's coming back asking i think for another

00:39:45.320 47 billion dollars but that zelensky the missile that they were all trying to say came from russia

00:39:50.680 oops looks like it came from ukraine and of course biden's partners over there zelensky wasn't exactly

00:39:57.220 too forthcoming about those facts that's all being revealed right now steve once again the real america

00:40:03.120 voice special with you and the great david zier out there and uh in long island it's a great location

00:45:36.000 there is no other place we are we are we're like the forces at dunkirk we're up against the english 0.96

00:45:43.300 channel so i want you to to uh understand one thing from the bible beware your sins will find

00:45:51.120 you out there are going to be some serious investigations i would suggest that you get

00:45:56.040 ahead of the curve turn yourself over to state's evidence your time is up sir thank you for

00:46:01.560 thank you and come clear hello my name is jonah landry i'm 20 years old and this past midterm has

00:46:07.140 will be the first time i voted in a second major election it is an honor to be able to take part

00:46:13.840 in such an integral part of our country but nothing is more diminishing than feeling like your voice

00:46:18.780 is not heard and that's what i and many others feel right now i am not here to attack anyone but i am

00:46:26.140 here to simply give a perspective that many of my peers and i feel many of you are probably here going

00:46:31.860 to get complaints about insecurities with machines ballot stuffing week-long counting and some of the

00:46:37.520 members even of this board being in a coalition that was to prevent maga candidates and those some

00:46:44.140 of these arguments i agree with having some factor in the result of the elections that is not what i'm

00:46:49.760 here to talk about today today i'm here to talk about something that can't be chalked up to conspiracy

00:46:54.520 theory rhetoric but is a factual event that cannot be denied today i'm here to talk about the errors that

00:47:00.860 occurred in 20 to 30 percent of our voting machines the delays that resulted from these errors extended

00:47:06.240 lines around 60 to 90 minutes long now normally i would be upset about this but wouldn't say it's

00:47:14.300 election changing issues if it were not for two factors first is how close this election is our

00:47:20.000 governor is being decided by a difference of 17 000 votes and our attorney general by less than a

00:47:25.140 thousand the second factor is that a request to extend the poll was submitted just like pennsylvania

00:47:30.720 when they had delays but for some reason it was shot down that is willful neglect a lot of people

00:47:36.280 here went to vote early because they had no time to vote after work but delays did not allow them to

00:47:42.440 vote in general without being late when election day in-person votes average around 16 democrats and

00:47:48.920 these machine errors affected mainly red areas we would have seen different results i request that

00:47:53.500 december 6 maricopa county holds a runoff election without these machines that caused the problems in the

00:47:58.740 first place thank you thank you again please no outburst

00:48:02.700 okay um what you're seeing here is the uh the voice of the people and people should understand

00:48:12.700 there are thousands now coming in and filling out affidavits this debacle uh and this humiliation

00:48:19.360 of maricopa county uh the city of phoenix and the great state of uh arizona has to be addressed

00:48:26.880 it has to be addressed there it is an impossibility and you're going to see a lot of election officials

00:48:33.340 people do what they call the judges and the poll workers come up with affidavits of the process

00:48:37.700 you know bill gates comes up there and pontificates at those sticks every day pontificates right and it

00:48:44.240 goes on msmc and cnn with a tossing softballs and he and steve richard said the most uh honest and

00:48:51.200 the most straightforward the most transparent that that's all spin and i take it from seeing

00:48:56.480 some of these affidavits are going to be brutal there's no way that this election will be able

00:49:02.460 to be certified and by the way it's going to be presented to the folks in arizona that young man

00:49:07.020 right there is so articulate and but there's so much more you're going to talk about people that

00:49:11.540 are on the inside and the processes breaking down and this is because bill gates and these guys are

00:49:17.460 totally incompetent uh now people say well it's malfeasance and they're doing it on purpose hey

00:49:22.080 that may be the case too that's all to be proven but just sheer incompetence not having redundancy

00:49:28.400 in systems and not just that you go back they have a manual that's like that thick this manual is is is

00:49:34.980 the way that they have agreed to run elections and you're going to see vast discrepancies in their

00:49:42.400 procedures as laid out to run these elections i mean vast discrepancies in these procedures by

00:49:48.700 eyewitnesses at the time and just this thing became you know when the machines broke down the question

00:49:54.340 gets to be how could you have tested the machines the day sunday and monday the two days before had the

00:50:01.360 ink and the settings that had everything set to go and had a massive implosion and the mainstream media

00:50:06.720 says oh they had a few problems they came out and admitted they had 26 percent and now i think the

00:50:11.980 evidence is going to show it's much higher than that but they came they admitted they had 26 percent

00:50:15.700 problem in the first couple hours and of that one out of every five ballots in 26 percent of the

00:50:22.500 voting centers it's a disgrace an absolute total disgrace uh the people of phoenix deserve better

00:50:30.240 the people of maricopa county deserve better the people of arizona deserve better and the people of

00:50:36.020 this country deserve better and they're going to get better there are so many people fired up on this

00:50:40.940 to come back in a process and demand to see how this thing could possibly be certified given the

00:50:48.580 discrepancies in the razor razor edge nature of this so it's all by the rules all by a process of

00:50:56.020 certification but you're going to see active legal uh and political engagement on this in the i think

00:51:03.120 the hours days weeks ahead in maricopa county the fight is a long way from over
