00:07:34.120 hoped that our candidates coalesced resulted in diminished majorities so that's not winning

00:07:46.660 uh the second argument cortez makes is well mccarthy's moved to the right and we've certainly observed that

00:07:53.300 puppet show but it's not real it's fiction and if kevin mccarthy only was responsive to pressure from

00:08:01.200 the right then that would be appealing the problem is he isn't if you look at the entire body of work

00:08:08.000 of kevin mccarthy it is a trajectory of slow surrender and the fact that we've had a few

00:08:13.980 spasms to the right is not indicative of where this guy's going to be if mccarthy got the gavel
