00:03:53.000 So the Federal Reserve, the smartest guys in the country, a half year ago telling us inflation is transitory.

00:03:59.000 Inflation is still at five.
00:04:01.000 And the core, which is what the Fed looks at, is at 5.5%.

00:04:06.000 This is what Cortez pounds every day and does such a great job.
00:04:11.000 For the middle class, you're getting hammered.
00:04:14.000 All the key parts of your life are up, right?
00:04:17.000 Food, rent, groceries are up back at the 8% to 9% range.
00:04:21.000 You are getting crushed.
00:04:23.000 Politically, they know they can't sustain that.
00:04:25.000 So the Fed is caught.

00:04:28.000 This is the one that's problematic and hugely political.
00:04:32.000 The Fed was downgrading their balance sheet until SVB.
00:04:36.000 That right line at the far right, they just pumped another $400 to $500 billion of stimulus into the economy.
00:04:44.000 That has a year lag.
00:04:46.000 That's going to come into play with what I'm about ready to go to.
00:04:50.000 Anyway, the lag just means that sugar high, the government, the Feds don't want you to see the real economy because it's a corpse, as we pointed out for two years.
00:05:00.000 The real economy is just the real stuff you make.
00:05:02.000 GDP, cars, refrigerators, etc.
00:05:05.000 That was going to get hit hard with the bank credit crisis.
00:05:10.000 Now the Fed just pumped a ton of money in there, which stabilized the markets, the financialization piece, the fake part, for probably another three to six months.
00:05:21.000 Next slide just shows what we've been saying.
00:05:26.000 All the smartest guys in the world, the Fed, this is from Deutsche Bank, Larry Summers agreed with it.
00:05:31.000 He's more on the Harvard left side.
00:05:33.000 Once you hit 8% inflation, you're going to have 5% inflation for five to six years.
00:05:39.000 Those are the receipts.
00:05:40.000 Those are the goods.
00:05:41.000 All that sets up the next two slides, which is what you're talking about today, Steve.
00:05:45.000 The next slide here, the deficit is not only a trillion.
00:05:51.000 The deficit is a trillion dollars in the first six months of fiscal 2023.
00:05:56.000 And you can see what the Fed has done to your life by that first bump downward.

00:06:04.000 Then you get COVID, which this show is covered.

00:06:08.000 And the Fed response was atrocious.

00:06:17.000 So this is not a revenue problem.

00:31:25.000 And it was a very muddled, what one judge called it, splintered ruling.

00:31:31.000 It was 107 page ruling that kind of went all over the place related to the use of obstruction of an official proceeding.
00:31:38.000 This is a post Enron scandal law that was intended to close a legal loophole for tampering or destroying evidence in a criminal or congressional investigation.

00:31:55.000 More than 300 people face this obstruction felony.
00:31:58.000 It is punishable by up to 20 years in prison.
00:32:01.000 But what happened was you had a Biden appointed judge who I think probably should have recused herself, Florence Pan, who basically reversed the dismissal of this charge by one district court judge.
00:32:16.000 And so it goes back to that he has to reverse his order that dropped this charge against three January six defendants.

00:35:23.000 They just keep producing more and more late discovery, even now related to undercover D.C. metropolitan police officers who, Steve, not only were embedded in the crowd playing clothes, they were acting like Trump supporters.
