Linda Rantz from Shasta County, CA joins us to talk about her experience with hand counting in her county and why it's time to get rid of all the machines and start using paper ballots in elections.
00:29:50.680Okay, Derek, in those allegations you just made, you've seen documentation of that.
00:29:58.980When you say that Lisa Monaco has those and has had it since the fall and that Mike Turner knows this and they're not moving on it, you've actually seen the documentation on that?
00:30:13.500Okay, so we're going to announce 6 o'clock tomorrow night, and we're going to reach out to Mike Turner's office.
00:30:18.540It's 6 o'clock tomorrow night on our 6 o'clock show because I can get an hour to go through this with Derek Harvey.
00:30:23.680And people should know, Colonel Derek Harvey is a revered figure, not just in the intelligence community, but DIA, the Pentagon, the work he did in the Iraq War to really get that, you know, where it wasn't the total debacle that had become.
00:30:38.820The Trump White House, what President Trump thinks of him, and he will have a major, major position in the second term.
00:30:46.440I know that thrills your enemies in the deep state and in Silicon Valley, but I just wanted to know, now it's time to, let's stop playing nice.
00:30:54.280Let's play, let's go back to Smash Mouth.
00:30:56.200It's screw you, you hate us, we hate you, we got that, there's no middle ground.
00:30:59.580Either one of us is going to win, one of us is going to lose, we got that.
00:31:06.360But it's no more, you know, oh, they're okay.
00:31:09.460No, they're traitors, they're working with the CCP, Sequoia's a front for the Chinese Communist Party, and Mike Turner ought to be turfed out.
00:31:18.440Turfed out, not just to live and tell, he ought to be turfed out of his seat.
00:31:21.720But, if he doesn't get with the program, to let a guy like Jim Hines, I think he's another Goldman guy, to let him, a devotee of Shifty Shift and Swalwell, who, as we all know, slept with a communist agent and compromised himself, is absurd.
00:31:42.040The Republicans, this is the problem on Intel.
00:31:44.120You know, you've got a handful of guys like Devin Nunez, and you've got a bunch of weak sisters, like Trey Gowdy, another disaster.
00:31:51.360Derek, until tomorrow, what is your social media?
00:32:21.720When you look at the long odds that we got, right, with the deep state, with the tech oligarchs, with the – first off, tell me about – all your members are going to join the League.
00:32:52.240Yeah, all of the risks and upfront risks, by the way, cash on the barrel right now, okay, without participating in the upside, which goes to Jamie Dimon and J.P. Morgan.
00:33:01.600That's the kind of deal – unfortunately, it's hard to even call it a deal – that's the kind of situation that has been inflicted upon the American people.
00:33:09.300I started the League of American Workers.
00:33:10.920You can go to amworkers.com to learn more about it as a mechanism, an advocacy group to do media and research and advocacy in the public arena to try to get us that seat at the table.
00:33:21.420We're going to get there, but it's an arduous process.
00:33:24.020And unfortunately, Steve, the reality is over the weekend – and this is exactly why the SVB bank was really, for me, the crystallizing event that I had to start this new advocacy group – we have yet another weekend, yet another Biden bank failure.
00:33:36.740And this one now, the largest yet of his tenure, the second largest in all of history.
00:33:41.260We keep setting these incredibly unfortunate records, if you will, under Joe Biden.
00:33:46.620So many economic metrics are the worst since 08 and 09, the worst since the 70s, in some cases the worst since the Great Depression.
00:33:53.520Now, I hope and pray that we never have a bank failure bigger than Washington Mutual because that was mammoth in 08, 09.
00:33:59.900But under Joe Biden, anything, unfortunately, is possible.
00:34:03.160So let's look at the charts of this situation with First Republic.
00:34:57.900And when they said negotiations, it's only how much they had to sweeten the deal for Jamie Dimon, right, to take the upside and to screw the American taxpayer.
00:35:07.460Is that essentially the negotiation process?
00:35:10.280And listen, notice how Jamie Dimon played this and the other large banks.
00:35:14.760They waited for the complete collapse right before stepping in because they then know that they can get the absolute best deal where essentially the taxpayers, the depositors in these banks are left with the toxic assets.
00:35:27.560And all of the upside belongs to the big banks who get an ever more powerful share of an ever concentrated business environment in this country.
00:35:59.320But let me also tell you, there's never one cockroach, OK?
00:36:01.980If you come into your kitchen in the early morning and it's dark and you flip on the light and you see a cockroach, do not assume, oh, that's the only one.
00:36:12.780And when it comes to the banks, there's not one cockroach.
00:36:15.120And we are finding that out weekend by weekend.
00:36:17.740And right now, as we speak this morning, Steve, the existing banks, which we hope are healthy, they're down, the regional bank index, down 2% on the day.
00:36:32.200And we've been talking about it on this show for a very long time, but it's becoming more apparent now, you know, to the powerful.
00:36:37.100If we want to go to chart number two from the Financial Times, please.
00:36:40.420This is Charlie Munger, who is not nearly as well known as Warren Buffett, but he is his partner in crime, massively successful billionaire over decades and decades of investing.
00:36:48.300Not at all ideologically with us, by the way, quite the opposite, a committed liberal, if not leftist.
00:36:56.480And I'm quoting from there because it's Steve Bannon's favorite paper.
00:36:59.780You know, like a lot of Irishmen, Steve pines for the approval of the Brits over there at the home office in London.
00:37:04.980So I'm quoting from the August Financial Times as a homage to you, Steve.
00:37:09.740This is what Charlie Munger reports in his interview with Financial Times, that, quote, troubled office building troubles, shopping centers, a lot of agony out there, tighter on real estate loans.
00:37:29.400So that is the outlook going forward from one of the smartest people in the business, again, somebody who does not share our ideology, does not share our politics or philosophy, but who has an incredibly keen eye and has a history, by the way.
00:37:41.760Munger and Warren Buffett have a long history of bailing out banks in times of incredible trouble, particularly in 08 and 09.
00:37:47.640And for the most part, doing so with great acumen, right, with great skill.
00:37:51.400In this case, he is saying, we'll take a pass.
00:38:18.300What is Jamie Dimon seeing that the war rooms, what have we seen that Jamie Dimon's not?
00:38:23.980Let me, yeah, let me, let me give you another cue, a clue of what lies around the corner.
00:38:28.300We've been talking about repossessions.
00:38:29.720And this is what, by the way, I believe Jamie Dimon sees this, but it's not in his self-interest, to be honest about it, with the American people and particularly with shareholders of banks like his.
00:38:38.120But we've been talking about repossessions.
00:38:39.480And, you know, in far in advance of the corporate media now starting to catch up and talk about the repo man, unfortunately, tragically getting extremely busy when it comes to cars.
00:38:47.080Well, the same is true for motorcycles.
00:38:49.340So if we go to chart number three, please, slide three.
00:38:51.880This is a Bloomberg headline that came out about Harley-Davidson.
00:38:55.740Steve, Harley-Davidson blamed some of its credit losses in its report.
00:39:00.680It almost reads like the Babylon Bee, and it would be funny if it weren't so tragic in the real world.
00:39:05.960They said that one of the reasons they're enduring such credit losses is because they cannot repossess the motorcycles of the owners who aren't making payments because they can't find enough repo men.
00:39:16.220So, therefore, they're taking credit losses because they can't get the bike back so that they can try to sell it again as a used motorcycle.
00:39:23.280Instead, it's just sitting there because there is a dearth, there is literally a lack of repo men who are ready and capable to go and get the motorcycles.
00:39:32.000That's how bad things are right now, as reported, not by Steve Bannon or Steve Cortez, as reported by Harley-Davidson.
00:39:38.940So, listen, given the totality of all of these metrics put together, the things that we see on the macro level, on the micro level, the commercial real estate risks that are out there, many of those risks, remember, flow directly out of all of the mistakes of 2020, the lockdowns, the BLM riots, the lawlessness in our city centers, this confluence of factors together with Biden's inflation being the real spark.
00:40:02.200We had a lot of these bad conditions existed, but the spark, right, to begin this very unfortunate bonfire was Biden stoking inflation in an absolutely unprecedented way.
00:40:12.660Think of this, by the way, too, Steve, this very week.
00:40:14.600Talking about a busy news week on the financial side, the Fed's going to raise interest rates this week.
00:40:18.800At least that is the almost unanimous opinion of Wall Street and economists who are looking at the Fed.
00:40:23.300So, at the very time that the Fed itself, along with the FDIC and the Treasury, the very same time, within hours, essentially, of bailing out a major bank, the second biggest bailout in the history of the United States, they are also going to raise interest rates, which is the very cause, in many ways, of the predicament, the crunch that these banks find themselves in.
00:40:44.980You know, so talk about, you know, look, Lincoln told us a house divided, you know, cannot stand, an economy divided cannot stand.
00:40:53.180And Jerome Powell, I'm not saying he shouldn't raise rates, by the way, because we have a massive inflation problem, and it's incredibly sticky.
00:40:59.620But the point is, he is going to do more of that which is causing this crisis in banking in the first place.
00:41:05.860And so, when I look out on the future, I don't see any reality, any plausible projection other than massive credit crunch, credit crunch ahead, meaning it's going to be extremely difficult for you as an individual or small business, if not impossible, to get a loan.
00:41:20.500And if you can't get a loan, the terms are going to be so onerous for you that it will be very difficult for you to thrive with that loan.
00:41:26.540And for people who already have loans that are hard for them to handle, unfortunately, the situation is going to get better before it gets worse.
00:41:33.140And, Steve, bringing all this back to politics and back to Capitol Hill, this is why it is so imperative.
00:41:38.760And I'm really proud of what the House GOP did.
00:42:07.020It is a first small step toward getting back to a place of fiscal sanity, of restrained inflation, and of a trajectory that brings us back.
00:42:15.480It won't be easy, but brings us back toward prosperity again in this country because the situation is terrible.
00:42:36.140Cortez, I want to talk to you about after the break that and also at the White House Correspondent, which is an embarrassment, I think, for the media.
00:42:44.360Yeah, for the – was it the fourth estate to go, what was said about Joe Biden.
00:42:48.960But before we go to break, David Axelrod, they had a thing in Politico over the weekend asking the top gurus in politics in the country, what are the topics nobody's talking about that are going to really be big in 2024?
00:43:02.960Am I missing – are we just too much in the war room bubble?
00:43:07.000I mean, they actually said give us the number one main topic that's not really being discussed, that's the sleeper issue, the sleeper issue beneath the horizon.
00:43:16.300Give me – we've got 30 seconds, your thoughts.
00:43:19.060No, look, it's, of course, the economy.
00:43:20.920And within the economy, though, more specifically, it's the deficit because the American people in their own lives have now come to an appreciation of what the deficit is doing to them.
00:43:30.000It is going to be the front and center issue for all races, not just the presidential.
00:44:09.360This revolutionary system allows you to drive fire practice with your actual firearm at any time in the safety and privacy of your own home.
00:44:19.920No more inconvenient trips to the range, and you will save a ton of money on practice ammo.
00:45:40.420The judges said Matt Visor stood out among his competitors for work that went beyond the humdrum of covering the managed events of the presidency and the White House.
00:45:49.180Visor captured the spirit of Joe Biden, particularly with stories about the president's brother and how his Catholic faith influenced his strategic vision of the office.
00:45:59.380The WHCA is pleased to give the Aldo Beckman Award to Matt Visor.
00:46:21.440Joe Biden's son, I think today, we're going to have Mike Davis on here this afternoon, Cortez.
00:46:28.940I think that the stripper he knocked up and that the Bidens are, don't spend it, you know, not giving the little baby, the little girl, their granddaughter any money, not using the name.
00:46:40.380I think he's finally getting his day, that she's getting her day in court today.
00:47:04.800Steve, they have nothing but contempt for us, clearly.
00:47:06.880Now, I think we should wear their contempt as a badge of honor, but nonetheless, we need to be aware of it, of the revulsion that they feel toward regular Americans, toward the salt of the earth people who make this country run.
00:47:17.200Many of them happen to be very devout Catholics who should be particularly insulted at that just ludicrous award.
00:47:24.480And the self-congratulations, the self-satisfaction that you saw at that dinner.
00:47:29.260And I think it was even worse this year than most.
00:47:32.020So glad to watch it from afar and not be there.
00:47:34.540It was a soiree of extravagance and total unseriousness in an age where we need very serious people, including a well-operating and skeptical press, which we don't have right now.
00:47:45.820But you see there an ABC reporter giving an award in front of the president of the United States to a Washington Post reporter for his incredibly glowing reporting on his glowing story on that very president.
00:48:00.080And supposedly with the main aspect being the Catholic faith of Joe Biden, Joe Biden, who is demonstrably the most radical pro-abortion president in the history of that office, somebody who brings great scandal to the Catholic Church, by the way, in which he continues to parrot it in front of the people.
00:48:20.580He constantly talks about his rosary beads and makes the sign of the cross and then turns around in his actual actions, right, shows that he has no concept, no regard for his faith or, for that matter, anybody of any traditional faith, no regard for the Judeo-Christian tradition at all.
00:48:36.600And you're right, Steve. In a sense, it is fitting that you began today's show with that scene out of Boston and ending it with this scene out of Washington, D.C., because those two circuses have more in common probably than either would care to admit.
00:48:49.040And it also happens to be the two ends of the Acela Corridor. And the Acela Corridor, I would argue, is the nerve center of the ruling class in the United States that has caused so much pain for this country, has done the bidding of the multinational corporations, of the globalists, of the Chinese Communist Party, everybody but working class Americans in flyover country.
00:49:10.380And they are unaware, I think blissfully unaware to them, that there's a giant country between Brooklyn, New York, and Brentwood in Los Angeles, between the Beltway in Washington, D.C. and Brooklyn and the Bay Area, say, on the West Coast.
00:49:23.820There's a giant country in between that they frankly don't care much for and that they don't mind insulting.
00:49:28.440And that was an incredibly insulting presentation made there at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday night.
00:49:34.860The two anchors of the Acela Corridor. Let's go ahead and play. I want to play the League of American Workers.
00:49:42.480Patriots, Biden's economic crisis inflicts particular pain on working class Americans.
00:49:49.160But the sad reality is that working class Americans, middle America economically, has been suffering for decades as the credentialed ruling class takes an ever greater share of national income and national wealth at the expense of labor.
00:50:04.800Let's look at the numbers in a Chalk Talk.
00:50:06.380Percentage of total household income going back a half century.
00:50:10.980Fifty years ago, middle income Americans got almost two-thirds of all household income.
00:50:19.960At the same time, upper income Americans have gone from under a third to half of all household income in the United States.
00:50:26.780If you want to join me in fighting for populist, nationalist economic principles for that agenda, consider joining the League of American Workers, my new organization for information.
00:50:51.220Well, listen, you know, I think the time is right, a sense of urgency right now.
00:50:54.500And I also firmly believe that given the excesses and the abuses of the ruling class in the United States and, frankly, around the world, but I'm concerned with what's happening here, that populism is ascendant.
00:51:07.460It's a matter, though, of whether that populism will be of the left or of the right.
00:51:10.760And, of course, we want to make the case to persuade the American people that an economic populist nationalism of the right that is rooted in sovereignty of the American people, a diffusion of power, particularly economically, and cultural conservatism with those foundational pillars, that is the roadmap for a successful and better America, for a renewal.
00:51:31.360A renewal that includes a very broad and very prosperous middle class in this country, something we once had, something we can get back again.
00:51:39.340And so because of that, I think it's important for all of us to be activists, not just talk about it.
00:51:44.080One way to be active, if you're so moved, is to support my organization, amworkers.com.
00:51:48.620But however you choose to get active, okay, find the right candidates who believe in these principles.
00:51:52.880And we need to make sure that we elect them at every single level, from your local school board all the way to the president of the United States.
00:51:59.240The most patriotic populist candidates we can possibly find, because I believe we can save this republic, Steve, but we need to be honest with ourselves.
