In this episode, we talk about the debt ceiling and how to deal with it, and what the Constitution says about it. We also discuss the current state of the U.S. economy and the impact of the financial crisis.
00:35:06.260Seventy-eight years ago on 8 May was victory in Europe.
00:35:11.020Of course, they signed the instrument of the surrender, unconditional surrender of the German army, the Wehrmacht at 2200 Berlin time, when effective at 2300.
00:35:21.080And that was the 9th of May in Russia.
00:35:26.780They celebrate victory day the day after.
00:35:28.840Eric Prince, how does this inform us of the current war, the Third World War that's beginning on the Eurasian landmass between the two Slavic entities, the Ukraine people and the KGB out of Moscow, sir?
00:35:47.380You know, Steve, I think it's important for Americans to remember that it was the Soviet army that killed three out of four Nazi soldiers.
00:35:57.260And for as much damage as the U.S. took fighting and killing Nazis, a very worthy fight, we lost 250,000 Americans doing that.
00:36:08.340The Russians lost 1.2 million alone at the Battle of Stalingrad.
00:36:15.560They, as your video led up to, 25 million people died in the Soviet Union fighting the Nazis.
00:36:23.640So it's right for us to remember that Russia, that the damage sustained by Russia is seared into their memory, into their genetics, but that doesn't give them the right to latch on to whatever their neighbor countries are to make them part of the former Soviet Union, to reawaken the Soviet Union again because they feel like it.
00:36:52.280It's a real it's a real it's a real failure of statecraft by the Biden administration that we had lost so much credibility and so much deterrence by the complete screw up in Afghanistan and really even the screw up in Iraq, because Iraq is now run by Iran, that Putin felt that he could get away with it and that he could do it at so little cost.
00:37:20.000That Putin felt that it would be worth it.
00:37:21.000Of course, it's a dumb idea for Ukraine to ever be part of NATO.
00:37:26.280We don't need to antagonize or inflame Russian sentiments on that.
00:37:32.340But fine, if we had given Ukraine the means to defend itself with a lend-lease type program with some old U.S. aircraft like I'd recommended four months before they invaded, this whole debacle could have been prevented.
00:37:45.520The really sad thing is if the Democrats had not come through with the entire Russia election collusion hoax, I think Trump could have made a deal with Putin to pull him into the orbit in the West.
00:38:01.580The long-term natural ally and trading partner between the Russian people is Europe and the United States.
00:38:10.480It is not China and it is not in the long-term interest, in the medium-term interest even, of Russia to be synthesized and to allow the eastern provinces of Russia to effectively also to become protectorates of China.
00:38:27.460Our natural allies, like they were in World War II, are Lao Bai Jing, the Chinese people that took 40 or 50 million casualties.
00:38:38.900I think the Russian army is 25 million.
00:38:40.940I think there's another 25 million civilian dead.
00:38:46.640Remember St. Petersburg or Leningrad at the time, 900-day siege.
00:38:50.000They're eating their cannibalism at the end.
00:38:52.520The scale of the war on the eastern front, and the generals in the west knew this, and that's why they also said we'd never get into a fight near Kursk or Stalingrad or in eastern Europe.
00:39:09.540How does this – this whole thing, Eric, now, we just had – and we put the footage up.
00:39:14.100I don't know if we played, but we put the footage up of Bakhmut the other night, looked like Dresden in 1945.
00:39:24.600Give us your military assessment of the spring offensive, what's going to happen here in eastern around Bakhmut, in eastern Ukraine, the Russians being eastern Ukraine, and down in Crimea, sir.
00:39:35.440So, to do modern maneuver warfare with tanks and mechanized infantry, et cetera, you know, the Battle of Kursk was 6,000 tanks and 2 million soldiers.
00:39:49.880What this spring offensive envisioned by the Ukrainians is a few hundred tanks and 10, 20, 30,000 soldiers, and I don't think the Ukrainians have the wherewithal to do – it's one thing to have tanks that can maybe break through,
00:40:09.340but you need mechanized infantry with armored personnel carriers, and you need a massive logistics tail to feed those beasts with fuel and with ammunition, and they're even short on ammunition in a lot of areas.
00:40:21.860So, I think there will be some incremental gains possibly made, but unless you have all the stuff to follow on, that offensive is not going to go much faster than one tank of gas is going to take them,
00:40:35.640which is why the Ukrainian leadership has been really trying to manage expectations of just how spectacular or not spectacular the spring offensive will be.
00:40:44.920It's not going to start yet because you have to wait for the fields to dry.
00:40:50.560You know, the Battle of Kursk didn't start until early July, but what are fantastic farm fields that were covered with snow and then rain?
00:40:56.900They're mud. They're mud bogs, and they will have real difficulty maneuvering until those fields are dry.
00:41:05.640I doubt very much that they'll be able to retake Crimea.
00:41:09.580It's effectively an island with a very narrow peninsula across the top, only five kilometers wide.
00:41:14.500Very easy for the Russians to fortify that, and I think that would be a hard red line that the Russians may even go nuclear if they envision the loss of Crimea.
00:41:25.800So, it's a mess. It's really sad, and I wish we had a stronger president that could drag these parties to the table and make it stop.
00:41:35.640Eric, give us your strategic assessment again about this whole thing about the Russia collusion.
00:41:42.500It was driven by the deep state and the administrative state to separate the Russian people and the American people.
00:41:47.860How important a deal is that is now that Russia, the KGB, is the junior partner of the CCP, sir?
00:41:53.460Well, you know, I remember growing up how much the Democrats loved the Soviet Union, and they liked it when it was a leftist-run government.
00:42:03.200And look, Putin is a nationalist, not so much a globalist.
00:42:07.160He's definitely not a freedom-loving, pro-free market capitalist guy that we would want in any way, shape, or form.
00:42:17.400But I think the left was so shocked and embarrassed that Trump won.
00:42:23.520They needed an excuse, and they created the Russia collusion hoax out of thin air.
00:42:28.760And it really tied Trump's hands politically, diplomatically, from making that kind of deal with Putin.
00:42:39.480Look, it is reasonable to respect Russia for the work they did in destroying Nazism.
00:42:47.980Again, they took by far and away most of the casualties doing that.
00:42:52.240But that doesn't give them free license now.
00:42:56.400And so the collapse of American deterrence and American credibility, it's what leads to that.
00:43:02.580It's what leads to the Saudis not joining the Abraham Accords like they were going to down to the last days before they were going to announce the Abraham Accords.
00:43:12.280But instead, because they didn't get the security guarantees that they'd expected, that they'd had, that they'd enjoyed this cooperation with America since 1944 with Roosevelt and the king, that instead they flip and they recognize Iran diplomatically.
00:43:32.040That was done from a position of weakness, not of strength.
00:43:34.580So American credibility and deterrence matters all over the world.
00:43:38.180Our long-term opponent is the Chinese Communist Party, and deterring them from doing something aggressive and invasive on Taiwan is very much our national interest.
00:43:50.140And so the United States not getting rolled in Ukraine and letting and helping Ukraine at least survive as a state.
00:43:56.580And yes, Ukraine has issues, all countries have issues, but at least the Ukrainian people have showed up en masse by the tens of thousands, voted with their bodies to defend their land.
00:44:36.080In my younger days, I was a naval officer on a destroyer.
00:44:39.740In fact, I was the A-gang officer in charge of all the engineering systems that were not main propulsion.
00:44:46.200And one of those was air purification.
00:44:48.700And I can tell you, the standards of the United States Navy are second to none.
00:44:52.220If all home air purifiers are the same, why did the U.S. Department of Defense select EnviroCleanse to protect and purify the air on board our Navy ships?
00:45:02.480Because EnviroCleanse, advanced mineral technology goes beyond ordinary HEPA filters to destroy airborne illness causing cold and flu viruses, including COVID.
00:45:14.340EnviroCleanse is the new science in air purification.
00:45:17.860And now you can order one for your home.
00:45:20.120This is how you help stop colds and flus from taking your whole family down.
00:45:24.900This is how you destroy allergy-inflaming toxins and mold from the air your family breathes.
00:45:29.560In fact, this hospital-grade technology is so powerful that it promises far fewer colds and allergies and better sleep.
00:48:14.380The long-term output deals with the mullahs.
00:48:16.360The budding strategic and military alliance with the CCP and the mullahs in Persia right now.
00:48:23.480And what's happening in the South China Sea and the Straits of Taiwan where clearly the Seventh Fleet is not ready to take on a kinetic war.
00:48:32.260Where do you think in this overall expanding Third World War?
00:48:36.000Give us your thoughts and observations on it.
00:48:38.840I think China will wait until the next Taiwan presidential election.
00:48:46.560They'll try to get a much more Beijing-friendly president in place in Taiwan, a KMT-type candidate.
00:49:32.200So they will try to do this with soft power and black bags and pay and entice and coerce, you know, to do it the clandestine way.
00:49:47.460And if that fails, then I would be shocked if they don't try an aggressive way before the next U.S. presidential election.
00:49:55.100Because for them, for their perspective, I can't imagine a better candidate for them to go against than Biden and the weakness that's been shown on a repeated basis globally.
00:50:06.700To me, we're seeing the world breaking into a multipolarity where the Pax Americana, whether it's on the high seas or on, you know, countries melting, you know, routinely and regularly,
00:50:26.380or Iran seizing multiple large oil tankers just coming out of the Gulf, that is not American credibility on display.
00:50:36.900That is the weakness, and the Chinese will push into that vacuum as well.
00:51:08.660Give me your assessment of draft off of Eric Prince there.
00:51:13.820Where are we in this Third World War, and why is the indictment what we need to do with the fifth column here in the United States,
00:51:21.100and particularly the criminals in Beijing, sir?
00:51:24.360Well, let me just share a little bit of good news before we get started on what's not so good.
00:51:30.800I understand that on game day, P-Day, as I call it, publication day,
00:51:36.180the indictment has opened on Amazon as the number one bestseller in the national and international security category.
00:51:47.060That, I believe, Steve, is probably virtually entirely thanks to the War Room posse, those pre-orders and maybe the game day orders.
00:51:57.140Thank you to all of your listeners and, you know, you most especially for making this possible.
00:52:05.000I couldn't be more pleased and excited.
00:52:06.480As to what has just been discussed, I couldn't agree more with Eric on the perception that the Chinese Communist Party has
00:52:17.640of our weakness, of our irresolution, of our, well, compromise or capture, if you will.
00:52:27.840My friend Natalie didn't think capture was the right word for it, but I do, because it makes clear that that means people are now subordinated
00:52:40.900in our leadership to our mortal enemy, the Chinese Communist Party, and it's, you know, you opened earlier with this very compelling, you know, historical retrospective.
00:52:59.800We're in the middle of making history, folks.
00:53:02.680We're watching steps be taken right now, that if we have the privilege of writing the histories in the future, and that's not a given because you have to be victorious, generally, to write them.
00:53:18.840We will look back on this time, Steve, and you've put it very well, as the early years of World War III and the decisions that are being made now or the failures to make decisions,
00:53:30.840the actions that are being taken now or the failures to act, are contributing to steps that are being taken in Beijing and in capitals around the world, and they are coming for us, unfortunately.
00:53:45.120That's the point of this book, to help us protect against it.
00:53:49.140We're going to take a 90-second break. I want you to hold.
00:53:52.040Brian Kennedy is going to join us in-house.
00:53:54.060The indictment, number one on Amazon in national security.
00:54:00.840For War Room veterans, you know we have been all over this supply chain issue with China and medications and the active pharmaceutical ingredients.
00:54:15.460China has a stranglehold on us where there's a way to break that.
00:54:19.580Jace Medical. I got an emergency medication kit from them.
