00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on
00:00:11.660 these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people the people have
00:00:18.280 had a belly full of it i know you don't like hearing that i know you try to do everything
00:00:22.040 the world to stop that but you're not going to stop it it's going to happen and where do people
00:00:25.620 like that go to share the big line mega media i wish in my soul i wish that any of these people
00:00:33.440 had a conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer is to save my
00:00:41.360 country this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k bannett
00:00:48.700 we got a little bit more when it comes to timing on this this is according to a source of mine with
00:00:59.540 knowledge of the proceedings i'm told that as of 20 minutes ago they're currently on witness number
00:01:04.380 five of 10 so that certainly gives us a lot more insight into how this is moving how quickly this
00:01:10.040 is moving again as of about 20 minutes ago or so they were currently on witness number five
00:01:14.960 of 10 witnesses that they plan to call so that tells us they're about halfway through these proceedings
00:01:19.320 uh but again clearly moving more quickly than they expected it to move but yes could see something
00:01:25.440 come down today uh and that certainly moves up the time frame a little bit as well it's 3 p.m
00:01:29.740 there when did this grand jury um start meeting today they typically start at 8 30 we don't know
00:01:36.800 exactly what time they started but typically it's 8 30 this morning so the question then though katie
00:01:41.720 becomes who are these witnesses we know that she kind of at least as far as the summons and subpoenas
00:01:46.800 went out she kind of front loaded it with some of the more important witnesses right so we're talking
00:01:50.800 about the two state lawmakers we're talking about if gabriel sterling was in fact a witness we saw him
00:01:55.840 down here those are people that probably had heftier testimonies possibly had more to say uh versus you
00:02:02.600 know george chidi jeff duncan people that you know we've referred to today as kind of the cleanup hitters
00:02:07.660 in this so the question then is who are the remaining people that she's calling to testify
00:02:12.020 how long will that testimony be and i think that those uh kind of unanswered questions could help us
00:02:18.240 have some more insight into how long how much longer this could possibly do they go past five o'clock six
00:02:22.520 o'clock seven o'clock can they extend the hours so the courthouse closes at five o'clock but what's
00:02:29.500 interesting about georgia law you talked about this an indictment has to be unsealed immediately
00:02:34.340 right so that means that a judge has to still be present on the bench the indictment has to be
00:02:39.320 brought into a courtroom while there is an open proceeding while there is a proceeding going on
00:02:44.140 rather a judge on the bench court cannot close so if we get to six o'clock if we get to seven o'clock
00:02:50.980 and the courthouse doors are still open again that's us reading the tea leaves but that's a pretty good
00:02:55.860 indication that they may be trying to keep the court open for some special reason and of course we would
00:03:01.440 then you know assume that it has to do with this monday 14 august share of our lord 2023 we already
00:03:09.180 know because you can't make this up they already put it on a filing they already showed the indictments
00:03:16.580 hours ago and they're scrambling now this is all performative they're scrambling now to jam everybody
00:03:22.580 through remember it was supposed to be today and tomorrow the reason they're trying to quick march it
00:03:27.140 is because they've had a massive error they've actually shown that president trump is indicted
00:03:32.780 before the grand jury voted oops we bring in mike davis mike davis traveling around but this is so
00:03:38.880 important and i think everybody in the trump camp is waiting to actually get some clarification so
00:03:44.180 they cannot come on mike what is going on here this is another fiasco and and clearly they're jamming
00:03:52.500 this thing through this afternoon because they already they already put out for the world to see
00:03:56.240 before the grand jury voted that president trump's indicted on what six or eight nine counts sir yeah
00:04:03.000 let me i don't know if you saw this steve but president trump's attorneys put out a statement and i can read
00:04:08.660 it for you it's from drew findling and jennifer little it says quote the fulton county district attorney's
00:04:16.980 office has once again shown that they have no respect for the integrity of the grand jury process
00:04:23.320 this was not a simple administrative mistake a proposed indictment should only be in the hands
00:04:29.600 of the district attorney's office yet it somehow made its way to the clerk's office and was assigned
00:04:35.380 a case number and a judge before the grand jury even deliberated this is emblematic of the pervasive
00:04:43.680 and glaring constitutional violations which have plagued this case from its very inception
00:04:49.840 unquote and i cannot agree more this is a very very sloppy work by fulton county da danny willis but
00:04:58.500 it's unsurprising because she is a partisan activist and she's a complete and utter buffoon and this is part
00:05:05.980 of the democrats lawfare against president trump this is about election interference it's the pattern that
00:05:12.860 we've been talking about for more than a year steve going back to alvin bragg's uh indictment of trump
00:05:19.900 for the non-crime of a businessman settling a nuisance claim to jack smith's two indictments of trump
00:05:27.080 for non-crimes related to a former president having his presidential records of a non-crime of a
00:05:33.060 presidential candidate objecting to a presidential election fanny willis is now piling on with this
00:05:39.160 indictment you've had uh new york attorney general tish james bringing a civil fraud ball suit against
00:05:45.320 trump for the non-fraud of a businessman paying sophisticated paying back sophisticated banks
00:05:51.400 with interest this is lawfare and they're not even hiding it any anymore and the fact that they put this
00:05:58.240 indictment on the website before the grand jury even deliberated and approved it shows that this is a
00:06:04.880 the wheels have fallen off the clown car they i just want to make sure the artist understands this
00:06:11.760 they've actually filed they filed the indictment and they got a case number and they got a judge
00:06:18.180 assigned and the grand jury hasn't seen the final testimony that's where we started with this clip
00:06:23.160 from katie turin msnbc they still had i think 10 witnesses today like they said oh you got five
00:06:29.080 you have another five can you get it done by the end of the day they're trying to jam it in how late can
00:06:33.160 the court stay open they had 10 more witnesses to go before the grand jury and then a grand jury
00:06:40.380 deliberation so it's a deliberation and then a vote they've already put forward the indictment
00:06:46.240 they've got a case number they've assigned it a judge how how can this even go forward how come this
00:06:52.340 is just not torn up right now and they go back to the beginning mike davis that's a very good question
00:06:57.340 you know the trump legal team should look at this dismissing this indictment on constitutional grounds
00:07:04.260 uh because of they released it publicly before the grand jury deliberated and approved any indictments
00:07:11.960 and so there's obvious prejudice to a defendant here there's obvious election interference and
00:07:18.640 separate from that it is not even legally possible for trump to have committed a crime short of inciting
00:07:26.120 the insurrection the riot unless unless they have evidence that trump incited the riot on january 6th
00:07:32.980 which they don't have it doesn't exist it could not legally be possible for trump to have committed
00:07:39.000 a crime objecting to a presidential election as allowed by the electoral count act of 1887 if it were a
00:07:46.480 crime to object to president a presidential election like it is in third world marxist hell
00:07:52.200 halls democrats would be in prison for objecting to republican presidential wins in 1968 2000 2004 and
00:08:01.080 2016 it is not a crime to twist arms politically if that were a crime every politician in america would
00:08:10.080 be in prison this is lawfare they're trying to politicize uh they're trying to criminalize the
00:08:16.240 political process because this is about election interference and they're so eager to interfere
00:08:22.680 in the election they can't even wait for the grand jury to deliberate and approve a proposed indictment
00:08:29.080 before they put it on the website and get a judge assigned to the case this is uh this is this is
00:08:35.820 malicious by judge fanny willis she's a total buffoon and she's going to undermine democrats lawfare across
00:08:42.560 the board i think this is where they uh where they jumped the shark correct me if i'm not a lawyer but
00:08:49.400 when i read it i think they have 39 is it 39 indictments that i saw on that on that uh filing 39
00:08:56.240 separate indictments it looks like they have 39 tests one indictment with 39 counts and apparently
00:09:02.760 there are going to be counts against president trump and accounts against other so-called co-conspirators
00:09:09.820 because apparently it's a conspiracy now to object to an election i mean it's this is banana we we have
00:09:17.040 crossed the rubicon we crossed it with with the alvin brad indictment how we are going into the total
00:09:23.540 banana republic i mean if you look at places like zimbabwe and south africa they're probably brushing
00:09:30.740 blushing right now because this is so silly what these democrat politicians these sorrows
00:09:36.040 funded politicians are doing to president trump andy ogles the uh any ogles the congressman
00:09:43.580 put out uh today he's putting forward legislation to cut off any money to jack smith anything associated
00:09:50.200 with jack smith what should the republicans if we're really tired of this being a banana republic what do
00:09:56.420 you recommend we do here to go on offense well i we've been talking about this a lot uh going back to
00:10:03.580 uh the the unprecedented unnecessary and unlawful home raid against trump last august a year ago
00:10:10.020 and house republicans need to start stepping up their game what we need to do we need to have
00:10:15.580 impeachment inquiry opened on president biden immediately because he's clearly compromised
00:10:21.500 by tens of millions of dollars in foreign broads and other corruption and impeachment inquiry immediately
00:10:26.820 for covering this up and then we need to we need to start hauling in these bad actors for congressional
00:10:34.700 oversight immediately and then we need to cut off their funding there's a simple appropriations writer
00:10:40.660 that house republicans can include and these must pass appropriation bills two of them number one is
00:10:46.820 no federal funds can go toward any prosecution of any major presidential candidate on or before november
00:10:55.340 7th 2024 so that puts on pause merrick garland and jack smith's bogus indictments of president trump
00:11:03.180 and then you have a separate appropriations writer that says any uh state or local jurisdiction
00:11:09.500 that prosecutes a major presidential candidate on or before november 7th 2024 loses all federal
00:11:18.100 funding period full stop because you know what we should shut down the damn governments over this
00:11:23.960 because this is republic republic ending lawfare against the leading presidential rival of the current
00:11:32.600 president of the united states this is what you do and in zimbabwe this is not what you do in the united
00:11:37.940 states of america uh mike how do people get to you on social media how do they get to article three
00:11:44.540 you can donate at at article three pro excuse me at article number three project.org article
00:11:51.180 three project.org at article three project on getter twitter truth article number three project and then my
00:11:57.520 personal is at m r d d m i a m r d d m i d m i a and i'll say the house republicans now is the time to fight
00:12:07.780 or or your constituents should throw your beehives out of office mike you've warned us uh since you
00:12:16.220 first come on the show a couple of years ago i was going to get to this but today i think it set a new
00:12:20.740 uh a new low that they would actually they would actually have the indictment already to go and had
00:12:26.500 even finished with had not even finished with witnesses they have 10 more witnesses going up today
00:12:32.560 they're only halfway through that they're trying to jam it in and finish by six o'clock uh and then
00:12:37.700 just gun deck it right through no deliberations just have a vote because they already put the
00:12:42.540 indictments out they didn't even take it to the grand jury they knew they were indicted mike davis
00:12:48.040 any closing thoughts i mean that just shows you that this is lawfare this is not about justice or
00:12:53.800 finding the truth this is about lawfare 100 not a search for truth mike davis thank you so much for
00:13:00.720 coming on taking time away thank you thank we were trying to get some other folks on here but i will
00:13:07.740 tell you uh there's a lot of anticipation you gotta understand what happened and a filing in the court
00:13:14.220 and the reuters you know they had these reporters and some just stay right on the site to see to be the
00:13:19.560 the first one these particularly the wire services be reuters uh afp uh you know agency free uh france
00:13:26.740 press uh associated press those sit right there the reuters reporter caught it it was only up for a few
00:13:35.160 minutes but it shows you in the process in the courthouse they've already indicted trump and they've
00:13:41.040 already indicted these other people they still had not brought all the grand jury witnesses in
00:13:47.520 cnn's making such a big deal over the weekend how the lieutenant governor you know uh cosmo man
00:13:53.660 right pretty boy how uh he had not gone in yet to testify now today they're all in the you know katie
00:14:00.800 turner can they get them all in you know can they jam these people in they already indicted trump before
00:14:06.700 they went to the grand jury the whole thing ought to be thrown out the attorney general of georgia
00:14:10.960 to step in here the governor of georgia if you were not gutless anti-trump never trump freaks you
00:14:17.420 would this is about the rule of law what we have now is a circus and it's a dangerous circus
00:14:23.300 because mike uh davis is right this is republic ending types of things okay we're gonna take a
00:14:31.960 short commercial break we're gonna come back we've got sheila walker we had on this morning she's gonna
00:14:36.100 give us an update and ed dowd from maui still doesn't make a lot of sense what had this horrible
00:14:42.440 horrible tragedy at least right now it looks like it could be the worst wildfire in the history of
00:14:48.740 the nation think about that for a second in maui with all the wildfires it had out in the
00:14:53.920 the amazing great west of this nation short break back in a moment we are days away from the durban

00:16:22.840 grand jury we're gonna we're gonna go of our way not to cover this the rest of the day trump is going
00:16:27.920 to be indicted you saw that because they already followed before they finish with the witnesses
00:16:32.140 to the grand jury the rest of this is all this is banana republic and if the attorney general of
00:16:39.060 georgia does not step in here then um you've shown your true colors forget that this is trump this is
00:16:47.320 deeper than that a a something that would be as monumental as indicting american citizens who are
00:16:54.560 doing their duty to make sure that a a uh their constitutional duty to make sure that an election
00:17:00.380 at the end of the day represented what really was voted on by american citizen voters you're going to
00:17:07.780 indict them on what 39 counts or a bunch of them on 39 counts or some of them right a grunch of people
00:17:14.360 and you actually put the indictment on get a you get a case number you get a judge a sign before the
00:17:20.960 final 10 witnesses gone it just shows you as a total joke that's all like stalin that's just a
00:17:25.880 show trial she's in there that's just a show trial there's no deliberation they've already put it out
00:17:29.520 they've already indicted him so why are you just going through this show this is where we are and if
00:17:35.300 you're in the house if you're not fighting back then you're part of the problem you're part of the
00:17:40.140 problem if you're one of these house republicans all the fat cats out there with mccarthy this
00:17:45.040 week do i see here do i hear uh money being cut off you know do i hear mccarthy coming out saying
00:17:51.080 andy uh ogles has a great idea we cut all the federal money off do i hear that i didn't hear
00:17:56.540 that today i must have missed that and i thought i was in my crack team were following the news i think
00:18:01.840 we missed that did we uh miss that the uh impeachment inquiry of the crime family that took
00:18:09.980 uh have taken tens of millions of dollars from our greatest enemy the chinese communist party
00:18:13.840 did that come out of jackson hole a day in the afternoon uh meetings before they went out for a round
00:18:19.040 of golf in jackson hall i must have missed that too i am missing some of these things i'm not maybe
00:18:23.760 i'm not i'm just not paying attention the other thing that uh i didn't miss though was joe biden
00:18:29.780 on the beach yesterday in rehoboth beach hanging out for a couple hours getting a little sun look i
00:18:36.460 don't mind a guy taking a couple hours off on a sunday after you've done your job i haven't seen
00:18:42.040 anything he's done for maui barack obama you know the the beloved son of hawaii where where's where's he
00:18:48.980 he put out a tweet okay put in a tweet i've got sheila walker he came on this morning i really want
00:18:55.440 thank her for coming back this afternoon i want to start with ed dowd who we've been trying to get
00:19:00.100 on for a couple days ed is very well known to our audience through all the great work he's been doing
00:19:05.560 on the vaccine and and uh and the uh sudden death syndrome that's come up it looks like associated or
00:19:12.680 at least correlated with that ed you live in maui get me up to speed on on what's happening because
00:19:17.500 here's the the thing and you're an analytical guy people it just we look he had these massive
00:19:24.440 wildfires in the west massive with these these ancient forests and and and you've had them all
00:19:30.800 over the country people are shocked when you look at what's happened here it's different when you
00:19:34.960 see what's happened in the rest of the country's wildfires this looks like dresden or it looks like
00:19:39.980 tokyo when uh when we did the low-level fire bombing there to try to end world war ii before the
00:19:46.880 nuclear weapon uh had been uh had been tested or created back in the spring of 1945 that's what it
00:19:53.720 looks like it looks like a bomb went off it just doesn't look like a natural fire those things
00:19:59.260 were napalm at treetop level that created kind of a a uh a tornadic activity in the wind and it
00:20:07.100 whipped through tokyo uh in osaka what happened here does it because it just doesn't seem like it's a
00:20:13.400 it's a it's a wildfire sir well i'll tell you what i heard from a lot of eyewitnesses there were in
00:20:20.680 fact 90 mile an hour winds that day they canceled school in the morning which uh will turn out to
00:20:26.520 be a problem later um the uh there was a brush fire up uh by the bypass which is the the new road
00:20:33.860 they built several years ago to help alleviate traffic uh like a highway and they shut down the
00:20:39.820 bypass and sent out messages that the fire had been contained so no one everyone thought everything
00:20:45.400 was fine in the in the town of lahaina which is mostly known as front street lahaina and uh people
00:20:52.120 were going about their business then uh unfortunately the winds blew down some transformers is what i'm
00:20:57.300 hearing i have a friend who actually saw one fall as he was leaving and it may have started some fires
00:21:02.980 there's reports a gas station may have uh been the victim of that and exploded and it spread pretty
00:21:08.680 quickly front street is old wooden structures and uh there was no warning system uh we have sirens
00:21:15.060 here on maui there were not a lot they were not uh set off there was no uh phone warning uh on the
00:21:21.560 smartphones and uh eyewitnesses tell me that they didn't know there was a fire till they smelled smoke
00:21:26.340 open the front door and it was on their doorstep and that apparently there's reports that the fire once
00:21:31.520 it got really going uh it was moving 100 yards every five seconds there was a sheet wall of heat
00:21:37.200 um and it was a tinderbox now as to what caused the fire people are speculating down power lines
00:21:43.720 as of now and there was no water pressure uh so no no fire uh truck was able to start spraying
00:21:50.840 and that's what i've heard about the lahaina fires uh as to the boats in the harbor i have no
00:21:56.120 explanation as to how those got caught on fire um that's that's that remains a mystery and um there
00:22:03.160 were other fires on the island of maui there was some up in uh up country called kula and those
00:22:07.980 were uh caused by downed power lines eyewitnesses tell me that's true we lost about 29 homes up there
00:22:13.140 and there was a fire in maui later on that day in kihei where i live uh that i think was arson we've
00:22:20.360 had an arson problem on this island for years we've had dry tinder when the sugar cane factory shut down
00:22:25.740 and uh it's slowly uh the land is being re-agricultured but there's a lot of dry tinder
00:22:31.140 and we have an arson problem so i think that was my best guess that was an arson
00:22:35.300 tag on fire my neighborhood was evacuated that night but the fire the fire never got close
00:22:40.960 hang on for a second what do you mean maui has a uh arson problem i know there was three
00:22:48.000 i think suspects i think was in the spring of 22 if i remember correctly were rounded up for arson
00:22:53.820 but what do you mean an arson problem well mayor victorino the former mayor is quoted as saying we
00:22:59.520 have an arson problem and we're going to find them there's been fires going off uh for years now
00:23:05.060 uh one of the big valley fires i know for a fact was uh started by a burning car in the middle of
00:23:10.960 the sugar cane fields and it spread like wildfire it was set on fire it was arson definitely
00:23:15.540 this has been blamed on on in the press on climate change is climate change
00:23:23.780 climate change bring about the change in the sugar cane i take it sugar cane has not grown as much
00:23:29.480 and a lot of the dry cane that has been cut has just been left what's the issue here yeah there's a
00:23:36.940 lot there's a lot of uh dry grass and dry uh acreage that hasn't been uh properly uh re-agged
00:23:44.660 uh a private equity firm bought the valley from the sugar cane uh factory and it just hasn't been
00:23:51.280 intended to there's a lot of we've had a uh we had a very wet winter which grew a lot of the brush
00:23:57.040 and then we've had a very dry summer um el nino which no one talks about is uh this is the third
00:24:04.520 warmest uh ocean levels we've had since 79 so el nino uh is definitely uh could be blamed on this
00:24:12.240 but not climate change in my estimation this is this is poor land management epic local government
00:24:17.320 failure and uh emergency services that weren't properly executed
00:24:21.640 what do you mean private there's tons of rumors of course with no information we're getting sheila
00:24:27.940 in here for a second one of the things i think they're making a huge mistake it's quite odd
00:24:32.300 they've literally done a lockdown on everything here so you can't get any information so obviously
00:24:36.800 people are asking a million questions one of these is about may the residents that lost their homes
00:24:43.280 who have been there for a long time there's a lot of money coming into the area that wants to buy that
00:24:47.640 but when you say private equity bought the valley and really has intended to it what do you mean
00:24:52.960 private equity bought the valley what was that transaction i don't remember the name of the firm
00:24:58.000 but apparently a canadian canadian private equity firm bought the a lot of the uh ag land and has been
00:25:04.000 selling it off piecemeal to other people and you know when the sugar cane uh was shut down uh there was
00:25:10.120 just a lot of uh dry tinder out there and four years ago there was a fire set by that car fire i told
00:25:16.180 you it burned the valley to the point where it blackened out the sun so there's been poor man a land
00:25:21.420 mismanagement for years here and we've had a again the mayor is quoted as saying former mayor we have an
00:25:27.380 arson problem uh and hang on for a second hang with us i want to bring sheila walker and first off
00:25:34.520 sheila from your early morning appearance today any updates hi thanks steve um yes hi ed uh we're
00:25:42.620 neighbors actually so we've been experiencing this at the same time um the updates are that the
00:25:47.900 lockdowns are getting more and more serious so the big agencies have come in and they're uh definitely
00:25:54.380 locking down uh more areas even the highway now you do have to have a placard in order to travel back
00:26:00.240 and forth to lahaina the placard only lasts for 72 hours so you have to renew it every 72 hours and
00:26:07.440 they also only are allowing certain people with certain qualifications to have the placard to get
00:26:13.340 in and out of that area so the local supports that were going in taking supplies are being kind of
00:26:21.440 cartailed at this time and and not really allowed to go in as easily as they were before so over 100
00:26:27.380 cars were in line uh when i drove by to see the um the line to get the placard so it's a it's a long
00:26:34.100 process to get your placard and to qualify so that's what happened that's what's happening on the ground
00:26:39.040 and the latest discovery was a young family of four um discovered in their car they were trying to exit
00:26:45.380 and they perished in their car
00:26:47.380 wow one that was discovered uh today yeah that was the latest
00:26:54.380 what uh what is causing uh we got about 30 seconds before we go to break
00:27:01.240 asheela to you why are the lockdowns getting tougher
00:27:04.940 that's an interesting question and i'd like to know as well they're blaming it on the fact that they want to be able to recover the
00:27:15.260 bodies but i think they just want more control they they want more control over who's going in
00:27:20.440 and out of the shelters they want more control of who's going in and out of the the area and and
00:27:25.600 they're not managing it as well as the local people were managing it on their own so big government does
00:27:31.340 not help but they were better off with a smaller government and managing ourselves i mean we are a
00:27:38.240 sustainable island pretty much i mean we can't we know how to manage ourselves so it's frustrating
00:27:44.080 sheila walker hang on for one second ed dowd joe reek is going to join us short commercial break
00:27:53.360 guess what we're not on we are not on the indictment watch we're not playing the games of
00:27:57.960 msnbc and cnn they've already been indicted this whole thing with the grand jury is purely performative
00:28:03.900 a joke a disgrace and an insult to the american people in this republic short commercial break back in
00:28:10.220 the war in the moment why are so many people buying emergency food right now as tensions continue to
00:28:18.900 escalate our fragile food supply chain will break again one shocking headline spreads panic like

00:29:28.060 um in the six o'clock hour we're going to talk we got uh harnwell's going to come a new poll out
00:29:38.180 from two institutions published by the american conservative magazine a premier magazine in europe
00:29:44.080 about two institutions in ukraine that have done a poll 75 percent of the ukrainian people believe that
00:29:52.320 zelinski is primarily responsible for the corruption in that country now why do i mention that now i'm
00:29:58.740 we're talking about maui because as you know i've been like a dog with a bone for a year and a half
00:30:03.380 on this ukraine situation even before that but really since this war started and you're seeing it all come
00:30:07.920 unraveled right now in ukraine all the lies you were told all the information that was suppressed
00:30:12.600 it's all coming out like it always comes out but what happens in the interim
00:30:16.080 innocent people get slaughtered okay there's something not right in this maui thing
00:30:23.340 and there's a lot of speculation people run around saying okay hey i don't know
00:30:27.840 but i tell you what i do know there's something not right with what happened
00:30:32.420 uh what went on and particularly what's going on now ed doubt here's what i don't get
00:30:37.540 i've seen lockdowns before there is there's a lockdown on maui
00:30:42.340 like in some science fiction movie when like the aliens hit and they want to keep everybody away
00:30:47.320 i mean it's that level what is going on and of course i'm not saying that but what is going on
00:30:53.680 it's just very strange that this lot that the the feds have come in and they brush everybody aside
00:30:59.400 and they've locked this thing down hard why is that well a couple things uh the official body count
00:31:06.480 is 96 uh unfortunately but i'm hearing from first responders it's going to be 500 to a thousand
00:31:12.720 many of which are children and so there's been speculation that the local government authorities
00:31:18.580 were very worried about riots and uh they that's why they initially you know locked down eventually
00:31:24.700 we were able to get supplies through i was part of an effort on saturday to get a truckload of
00:31:28.660 generators food diapers baby wipes formula in but as sheila just said it sounds like they're locking
00:31:35.820 it down because fema did come i think uh as we were getting our last shipment in i think fema came
00:31:41.400 this weekend but 416 of them are on site now and the military's here so there's going to be a huge
00:31:49.060 effort to uncover all the bodies i don't think they want people to know the extent of the damage and
00:31:54.700 they'll probably drop the news of the bodies well after the news cycle
00:31:57.680 sheila uh is this is this is this an information lockdown is that we have is it for the safety and
00:32:08.300 security and a quicker response for the folks for the good citizens in maui or is this an
00:32:15.460 information lockdown about control it's information lockdown just like the local news isn't allowed to
00:32:21.220 report anything on this or not that they aren't allowed but they won't um offer them any press
00:32:26.600 releases or they won't respond to their calls to report on this so they don't want local news snooping
00:32:32.920 around and asking questions they don't want cameras going into any of these areas either so they're
00:32:38.800 trying to control everything and those rescue workers that were flown in here the over 400 of them
00:32:45.140 they're being put up in a hotel not in tents while the homeless families now displaced from their
00:32:51.540 homes are living in tents so it should be the other way around so i i i disapprove with how they're
00:32:58.740 handling a lot of things here and the locals are becoming more and more skeptical as well especially
00:33:03.800 um they're they're fearing that fema is going to be offering payouts and that this is some sort of
00:33:08.900 land grab so they're all chatting about this amongst themselves and they're all fearful that they're
00:33:13.500 going to lose their uh their property along with their home and their investment so that's uh and
00:33:19.100 you can hear it in the governor's voice when or his languaging when he talks about rebuilding lahaina
00:33:24.320 he definitely doesn't mention bringing the families back that were displaced he just talks about
00:33:29.820 rebuilding it as if it's going to be disneyland or something
00:33:33.040 what when the mayor or the former mayor says we have an arson problem is that true do you have an
00:33:42.520 arson problem and if you have why has that not been taken care of it's true but i don't know why
00:33:49.220 excuse me ed i believe the arson problem is real it's been reported on for years here
00:33:57.880 i don't know why they're unable to find out who's doing it
00:34:01.560 sheila you were in you ran for state senate well is there an arson problem and our authority's been
00:34:09.220 trying to shut this down there is an arson problem something's definitely setting these things on fire
00:34:14.740 it's not natural it's not uh from a cigarette butt being thrown out the window like they sometimes like
00:34:20.340 to blame it on so there is something but it's being covered up there's never an investigation that
00:34:26.340 produces anything and i don't know if there's any investigations at all but we're not uh we're not
00:34:31.340 catching any arsonist anywhere and with all the cameras around all the technology that we have you
00:34:36.920 would think that one would be able to figure this out pretty quickly and this is a local small
00:34:40.900 community so someone knows something but i have a feeling that you know it's probably the the
00:34:46.200 underground thug culture here that uh has a tendency to control a lot of the um you know um i guess
00:34:54.800 the underground so that um it's probably part of that organized crime here
00:35:02.120 uh sheila what's your social media how do people get to you and follow you uh for what's
00:35:08.380 sheila walker thank you thanks steve vote sheila walker.com and sheila walker for a state senate on
00:35:13.840 all platforms make sure everybody reaches out to sheila um and we want to make sure everybody knows
00:35:22.400 and maui sheila that we're there to support them
00:35:24.720 this morning she gave you the two uh the calvary church and the food bank if people want to donate
00:35:34.140 ed one last question i don't understand from my years even at pearl harbor people uh in the seventh
00:35:42.100 fleet would talk you this uh warning system that you guys eventually built was supposed to be state
00:35:47.300 of the art talk to me why the warning system and i realize this for tsunamis and other things but why
00:35:52.980 did the warning system not work uh we don't know it should have worked they tested the monday the
00:35:59.040 first monday of every month across maui so tesco i hear them all the time every monday in kihei i live
00:36:05.100 in kihei and they i'm sure they go off every monday uh in lahaina as well and you're right they're for
00:36:11.260 tsunamis but they also can be used to uh alert people to check uh emergency sources so they'd never
00:36:18.920 the sirens never went off and they claimed they were malfunctioning so far as what we've heard
00:36:23.320 i don't understand why that would be the case
00:36:26.240 before i leave you and i just want to make sure you believe that this lockdown is principally an
00:36:33.460 information lockdown absolutely um it's an information lockdown uh they're gonna lock down
00:36:40.360 the uh burned out areas uh they're gonna uncover bodies and they're gonna quote unquote investigate
00:36:46.240 uh for uh causes but you know who knows what what they're gonna do with the scene um you know this
00:36:53.620 is this is just very depressing and shocking and the local government response has been horrendous in
00:36:59.200 our estimation as as those of us who live here and uh i'd like to also say that i put out on twitter
00:37:05.300 this morning uh gofundme direct links to families over 600 individuals and families you can get the money
00:37:12.120 directly to them it's a good list and it's it's a google doc with a name gofundme uh click and a
00:37:19.640 description of uh what happened to them
00:37:21.620 and last question before we leave there's been all these rumors in there about wealthy people or
00:37:29.220 billionaires coming and buying property uh sheila just told us a lot of the locals are talking about
00:37:33.500 it already what any i mean is there any foundation on that at all have you heard anybody stepping in and
00:37:40.080 trying to buy out these these properties you mentioned private equity earlier buying at the
00:37:43.420 valley is there is that rumor started by the local people or what no there's been no i have not verified
00:37:50.920 anybody being offered money yet but the good news is the locals are very uh united in not uh selling
00:37:58.520 their land so they're going to go organize and make sure people don't start selling their land on the
00:38:03.520 cheap and if anybody does approach war will spread quickly so that i'm very proud to say the local
00:38:08.760 hawaiians i think uh are going to not let their lands be taken
00:38:13.460 ed doubt how do people get to you how they follow you sir twitter at dowd edward uh d-o-w-d edward
00:38:23.320 uh getter uh at edward dowd and financetechnologies.com spelled with a ph
00:38:28.800 your book is ironically called causes unknown ed
00:38:34.720 yes that now goes to the uh to the great fire of maui yeah cause unknown uh in quotations we did
00:38:43.920 that on purpose obviously because i i think i i'm 150 to 200 convinced what the cause of a lot of
00:38:50.080 things uh that have been going on this country are at the moment ed doubt thank you for coming on
00:38:56.860 appreciate it thank you steve
00:38:59.000 joe reek this uh this is the ancient capital hawaii this is a beloved place hasn't changed in centuries
00:39:11.340 the the locals go out of their way to kind of fight off change they want things to be like they've
00:39:16.600 always been in the flash of an eye we still don't understand what happened we don't understand if this
00:39:21.440 was just a a wildfire or what happened here but the devastation the place looks like dresden
00:39:26.740 at the end of the bombing or tokyo at the end of the fire bombing i i the photos i've seen and the
00:39:32.020 images i've seen are incredible and to know that the authorities have locked this down so hard
00:39:37.240 for the retrieval at least the perceived retrieval of the body shows you how quickly and intense this
00:39:44.240 was this is why you have to get prepared if you had talked these people a week ago this was paradise
00:39:48.860 joe reek how how does one start the process of getting prepared you know before we get started

00:45:11.540 chat room also the food bank she said the and um the food bank the money will go directly to people
00:45:18.720 ed dowd had told us up on his twitter feed so when we get ed dowd's twitter feed he's got 600 i think he
00:45:25.920 said go fund me pages directly to people with their stories he's checked it out so go check that out too
00:45:32.080 um when ed dowd who's done some pretty serious work in the vaccines and a very serious uh hedge fund
00:45:40.960 guy when he says hey there's an information lockdown and one of the reasons information lockdown people
00:45:45.580 are telling him on the scene is they don't want people in the area on the recovery and the uh and
00:45:54.600 before you do the rebuilding just just getting things sorted out and cleaned up because quote unquote
00:45:59.400 they don't want riots and you hear stories about uh from sheila that the latest victims today were a
00:46:06.300 family of four a mom and dad and two children in a car that couldn't uh get away it just there are more
00:46:14.760 questions here than answers and here's the thing they're not even trying to give answers um and they
00:46:20.900 need to start putting forward information because you look at the boats on fire you look at the people
00:46:26.480 it's just something is not right there's been a lot of wildfires in the world i don't think anyone
00:46:33.080 seen anything like this and that's on the limited information uh we have so we will continue to press
00:46:39.740 on we're trying to get other people uh over there uh because obviously we're trying to get in touch and
00:46:44.960 talk to more locals but there's something deeply wrong in this um this this is another situation like
00:46:52.780 east palestine and maybe it's not the direct corporate responsibility or the direct
00:46:57.120 malfeasance maybe in in maui that you saw in east palestine but in east palestine you saw the lies
00:47:04.940 they would tell you so i had they look you right in the eye and lie to you bald-faced lie people in
00:47:10.640 charge of corporations companies worth tens and tens of billions of dollars people that control
00:47:16.260 huge powerful organizations in the federal government so we will continue to uh to press
00:47:22.700 on there in the next hour i have a dr swain joins us with something that's been very disturbing uh it's
00:47:29.860 about this uh um best buy and the new management or they leaked out that they weren't in these
00:47:36.860 management trainee programs or management training programs no whites uh would be involved in it dr swain
00:47:42.760 is here uh she's written a lot about it she breaks it all down about the eoc and what's actually going
00:47:47.460 on and i've got ben harnwell um this situation in ukraine continues to get worse and it's our
00:47:55.480 responsibility because we're funding it you and me and uh you know all of maga we're writing the
00:48:01.700 checks for this thing and you have a lot of uh there's many many reasons that were involved there
00:48:06.700 has never been fully explained because something's not right there why we keep shoveling money in
00:48:11.680 and you're going to hear today about a poll from the european conservative magazine which is kind of
00:48:17.780 the creme de la creme about two ukrainian institutions that have done polling that shows that 75 percent of
00:48:26.980 the ukrainian people the ukrainian people hold zelinski responsible and accountable for the vast
00:48:35.800 corruption in the country and that corruption is now it's always affected the politics and and
00:48:41.140 partly the military the battlefield but now it really is because i'm hearing their units that
00:48:45.980 their units in the ukrainian military they're refusing to fight anymore and they're refusing
00:48:51.300 to fight because too many young men have already been slaughtered and they have this whole corruption
00:48:56.520 zelinski just let go of all the recruitment senior officials and generals why they're taking money from
00:49:02.420 the from the families so the kids don't have to go to the battlefield and we're now the defense
00:49:08.340 department 300 million dollars today got shipped over 300 million dollars got shipped over today
00:49:12.180 and they've got another 20 billion dollar package 20 billion dollar package 13 billion for military
00:49:18.380 another seven or eight billion for for for paying for their pension funds all of it they want done as
00:49:24.160 a supplemental so ben horn will be on tonight from rome we'll go through that crom carmichael we need
