00:04:52.600 just saying, you know, if this is how it's going to go, I'd rather be with my grandchildren.

00:06:04.600 There was a recruiter one time, a sergeant, and they were interviewing him, and they were talking about getting volunteers to go to the force

00:08:45.600 Russ, how dumb, this is what shocks me, because there were some Freedom Caucus guys involved with this.
00:08:50.600 How stupid do they think MAGA is now that MAGA has shows like John Frederick's Radio, Real America's Voice, Posobiec, Charlie Kirk, War Room, all these other podcasts.
00:09:02.600 Sites like Citizens Free Press, Gateway Pundit, Revolver.News, and many, many, many more that really understand the details of people and the receipts.
00:09:12.600 Last night showed that they still think people are absolutely stupid, absolutely passive, are just going to accept all their absurd buying in to left-wing uniparty narratives.

00:09:30.600 Yeah, I think it's certainly so that leadership last night still has a really low regard for where the movement is.
00:09:37.300 And the movement's insistence on having a defining fight on the totality of the existential fights facing the country.

00:09:48.300 But the border is not the only existential crisis facing the country.
00:09:52.300 We have a weaponized Department of Justice and FBI, prosecutions that are done on the basis of politics and whether you are favored or disfavored by the regime.
00:10:01.300 We have the beginnings of another move towards COVID and COVID restrictionism at the state and local level.
00:10:08.300 And there are a ton of issues that require the vast number of these appropriations bills to defund the bureaucracies pushing it.
00:10:17.300 And all of this does is fund it for a 30-day period at 92% of Biden levels and attaches a border security bill.
00:10:25.300 Many of those provisions could be ignored by the president and his administration because they've ignored the law already.
00:10:31.300 And so this is an effort to basically signal where the fight is going to be.
00:10:36.300 It is a messaging vehicle right now.
00:10:38.300 I think it's going to go down because of the 14 members that have already come out opposed to it.
00:10:43.300 But what you're seeing is that this is saying, look, we are not going to have the fight on the weaponization of the federal government.
00:10:50.300 We're okay talking about the border.
00:10:52.300 We're okay talking about a sliver of spending cuts.
00:10:55.300 We are not okay talking about the weaponization of the Department of Justice or the politicized prosecutions.
00:11:02.300 And I think that is what is so missing from this debate.
00:11:05.300 And hopefully this bill goes down later this week.
00:11:07.300 Well, this is the vote is going to take place on Thursday.
00:11:11.300 I want to just describe to people it's a continuing resolution.
00:11:14.300 It's as we reported last week, you got Byron Donalds and General Perry and the great Chip Roy as part of the negotiating team for the House Freedom Caucus with the mainstream caucus, wherever the mods are.
00:11:26.300 Supposedly leadership was out of this and they came up with a CR.
00:11:30.300 And the big trinket they put on there is the border bill.
00:11:35.300 Look, I might add the border bill without E-Verify.
00:11:38.300 You still can't get out.
00:11:39.300 You still can't get out the donors or big business.
00:11:42.300 It is the it's the bill that was passed, the messaging bill without E-Verify.
00:11:46.300 But but here's the point.
00:11:48.300 It is nothing addresses the central crisis of that.
00:11:53.300 You cut this deal back in the spring.
00:11:55.300 We told you it was going to be a two trillion dollar deficit.
00:11:57.300 And that would be structurally in perpetuity.
00:12:00.300 It doesn't address any of the central things.
00:12:02.300 All it gives is the 30 days essentially to Halloween to let it roll over into the holidays and then have an omnibus that's going to be on Christmas Eve and just bake in the Pelosi spending, the two trillion dollars in perpetuity and even the border thing.

00:12:20.300 They're not being enforced.
00:12:21.300 I mean, my York is Jordan.
00:12:22.300 These guys are saying, yeah, we can still impeach my Yorkers for not following it.
00:12:25.300 All of the attachments are just optics, right?
00:12:29.300 It's just performative to go on Fox all day long and say, well, you know, you're voting for really for border security.
00:12:37.300 The central crisis, it doesn't talk about.
00:12:40.300 Yes, you have to defund and defang the government.
00:12:42.300 You have to get all the woke and weaponized, which this doesn't even touch.
00:12:47.300 But as importantly, we have to drive now.
00:12:50.300 We have a time on midnight on the 30th of September to force the nation not to buy into the CNN and the Fox News.
00:12:57.300 Oh, the government's going to shut down.
00:12:58.300 The government's going to shut down.
00:13:00.300 To talk about the financial bankruptcy of this nation unless we radically change course, Russ Vogt.

00:13:10.300 This is the last leverage point because of how bad the debt limit deal was.
00:13:14.300 And one of the reasons why we're up against this moment is because instead of going where House conservatives were for so long, Kevin McCarthy essentially spent months dithering trying to explain to the people that knew it was a bad deal that it was a bad deal.
00:13:29.300 And so he didn't move any of these bills.
00:13:32.300 And what I've said is, like, how do you how do you move forward with with a delay, a short term CR if you still haven't had a fundamental come to Jesus moment with Kevin McCarthy, which he has said, OK, I'm on board with your numbers.
00:13:46.300 We will truly defund woke and weaponized government.
00:13:49.300 We're not going to rely on gimmicks.
00:13:51.300 And we're going to go after the critical existential fights facing the country, including the weaponization of the Department of Justice.
00:13:58.300 And that's what is missing from this.
00:14:01.300 And so, yeah, they're going to kick the can down the road.
00:14:04.300 None of that will have been resolved.
00:14:06.300 They're going to have a messaging fight with the Senate and the White House.
00:14:09.300 The most convenient messages, of course, are not on that on that on the docket.
00:14:14.300 And everything just keeps going.

00:18:31.300 And if you don't feel like you can do all the bills in one week, okay, let's start with the one that funds the Department of Justice, the one that funds the FBI.

00:18:42.300 And then we'll go to the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services and make sure that CDC and the NIH are not continuing to fund COVID bureaucracy.

00:18:59.300 How about we do that one week after another instead of this charade where we push things on into holidays and later in the year and nothing ever occurs?

00:20:01.300 But if we don't get to the fact that we can't have $2 trillion deficits, as far as the eye can see, which is what this sets up, then the nation is going to collapse.
00:20:11.300 What is your recommendation right now on Monday, the 18th of September in the year of our Lord, 2023, as the gathering storm comes back to Washington this afternoon and this evening?
00:20:22.300 For the, quite frankly, this firestorm is going to take place this week.
00:20:26.300 First and foremost, this CR needs to go down.
00:20:29.300 It shouldn't even go to the floor vote.
00:20:31.300 And they need to have a reset with Kevin McCarthy and insist if his speakership is going to continue, then he needs to stick to the terms and publicly come out and support the lower amount that was agreed to in January, not the amount that was the debt deal that they continue to insist and be very protective about.
00:20:50.300 And they need to be very, very clear about what they're going to defund in the weaponization.
00:20:57.300 And it needs to be broad and beyond the border.
00:20:59.300 And I think they need to have that agreement now.
00:21:03.300 They need to do that before you keep having these different bills, unless there's that come-to-Jesus moment between House conservatives as a bloc and Kevin McCarthy's leadership team.
00:21:17.300 Everything else is just being on a hamster wheel.
00:21:19.300 And they've got to stop, force that confrontation, and then be able to make strategic decisions based on it.
00:21:26.300 And I think that's what we need to see.
00:21:28.300 And it's going to require the war room activists across the country to get on the horn and let folks know that an 8% cut, 92% fully funding Biden woke and weaponized government is not what they put a Republican majority in place to do.

00:21:50.300 Instead of coming up and having 10 more CRs, because this one's dead on arrival, don't spend any more time on this, really get down to the fact of is McCarthy really going to show leadership here?
00:22:00.300 Are we going to go back to what the original deal is, which Matt Gaetz keeps saying you have to be in full compliance, particularly on the financial side?
00:22:07.300 Or if not, let's have the motion to vacate.
00:22:09.300 Let's throw down and just have that now, find out who the leadership should be before we continue to go through these charade after charade after charade, sir.

00:22:18.300 And there's a nuance point there, Steve, that you're making is that we need to return to coalition government.
00:22:24.300 These these CRs is good faith effort on some people's part.
00:22:27.300 You know, I love some of these guys.
00:22:29.300 They're making good faith efforts, but it's on the basis that they're in coalition government with Kevin McCarthy and they're not.
00:22:34.300 Kevin McCarthy is trying to screw them.
00:22:36.300 Kevin McCarthy is trying to use them at every opportunity to then discard them.
00:22:40.300 And then we'll be back having a very similar fight.
00:22:43.300 But we won't have a month.
00:22:44.300 We'll have lost that month to pass appropriations bills.

00:22:48.300 We'll be that much closer to the holidays.
00:22:50.300 And so we've got to have that reckoning now, a return to coalition style government.

00:22:59.300 Finally, I will fight these battles and I will force the issue or get a paradigm shifting speaker that is actually willing to do the will of the American people.

00:23:10.300 And I think Gates and others are showing incredible leadership in hearing, listening to where their voters are.
