00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.620 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.860 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:17.140 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:19.080 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.500 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:22.240 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:23.160 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.420 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.820 Mega Media.
00:00:28.740 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.640 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.360 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.760 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:53.220 Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
00:00:54.500 Mr. Speaker, my amendment number 180 would prohibit the use of funds being made available by this act
00:01:00.820 from enforcing any COVID-19 mask mandates.
00:01:05.320 Now, I want to make sure to make a point perfectly clear that everyone understands there is a huge difference
00:01:12.560 between a COVID-19 mask mandate and having a section of a medical facility that is quarantined off
00:01:20.240 because of highly contagious diseases or folks that are immune deficient that has nothing to do with a COVID-19 mandate.
00:01:29.600 This is only about COVID-19 mandates.
00:01:35.460 Last month, Morris Brown College in Atlanta reinstated its COVID-19 mask mandate.
00:01:41.640 They eventually rescinded the mandate in large part due to public outcry.
00:01:46.500 But make no mistake,
00:01:48.440 tyrants will go out of their way to control our lives if we allow them to.
00:01:54.360 The simple fact is that masks don't work.
00:01:59.200 A recent study confirmed this fact stating,
00:02:02.180 quote,
00:02:02.820 Wearing masks in community probably makes little or no difference to the outcome of influenza-like illnesses,
00:02:12.760 COVID-19-like illnesses compared...
00:02:16.360 It's Thursday, 28th September, year of our Lord, 2023.
00:02:19.100 We're going to be jammed today and we're going to have to go back and forth because there's a lot of action on Capitol Hill right now.
00:02:27.860 And Grace is going to tell me here momentarily,
00:02:31.180 we're going to be putting up a bunch of streams.
00:02:33.300 We're going to be streaming what's happening on the floor on one of our sites.
00:02:37.060 We're going to be obviously streaming the show.
00:02:39.700 I want to thank Real America's Voice.
00:02:41.380 We're also going to be streaming the impeachment hearing.
00:02:44.520 You'll probably see that down a box here in a moment.
00:02:46.860 We've got Natalie Winters all over that.
00:02:49.320 And we're going to cut away when the opening statements start.
00:02:52.940 Particularly, there's been a whole other dump of emails last night that showed that Jim Biden...
00:02:56.760 Well, if we keep telling you, it was Biden's brothers, the brains of the operation.
00:03:02.020 You're going to see a bunch of emails and notes about they're representing CEFC
00:03:07.360 and trying to buy an energy company down in Louisiana.
00:03:09.460 A lot going on.
00:03:10.740 But we have Congressman Rosendale, Matt Rosendale.
00:03:14.380 What we did there, and throughout the day, we're going to be doing cuts.
00:03:18.440 You guys have been up all night until, I think, three or four in the morning.
00:03:21.440 Exactly.
00:03:21.960 Both nights.
00:03:22.740 Called legislating.
00:03:24.140 Yeah.
00:03:24.420 Right?
00:03:25.080 Exactly.
00:03:25.980 You're putting up amendments.
00:03:27.380 You're having debates.
00:03:28.920 You're passing these appropriations bills.
00:03:31.040 You're seeing that you're both cutting.
00:03:32.720 And it's not to the level of cuts that you want or I want or the MAGA posse wants.
00:03:38.020 But you're cutting and you're defanging, you're de-woking, you're de-weaponizing, I think, DHS, DOD, all of it.
00:03:46.520 That's essentially, that's what I want to make sure people understand.
00:03:49.120 And all the media is talking about the CR, but the actual work of the appropriations bills is going on.
00:03:54.840 Have they started with the – real quickly, this is the hard work that we need to do to get to limited government and fiscal responsibility.
00:04:01.600 This is it.
00:04:02.440 This is it.
00:04:03.080 This is the only way to responsibly and transparently fund government, the appropriations process.
00:04:09.480 It happens – it's supposed to happen every year by September 30.
00:04:13.040 And it's quite amazing to watch.
00:04:15.500 Okay, let's go to Capitol Hill.
00:04:17.020 This is the kickoff of the impeachment hearings.
00:04:18.560 We're going to stick here until we – until they bore us, and then we'll come back.
00:04:23.900 Congresswoman Tlaib, I now recognize Ranking Member Raskin to welcome Congresswoman Tlaib.
00:04:29.120 Well, thank you, Chairman Comer, for that very warm welcome extended to our colleague Rashida Tlaib,
00:04:34.140 the favorite daughter of Michigan and a veteran of this committee, and we're so thrilled and delighted that she's –
00:04:40.760 Upon further review, like I said, I can't take little Jamie Raskin, right?
00:04:46.480 Although Congressman Raskin, we are – he's in our prayers as he works through the cancer that he has so bravely worked through,
00:04:54.520 but I can't take Jamie Raskin.
00:04:55.820 But this is – I want to give a very, very heads up.
00:04:59.740 We have argued for this from the beginning, this impeachment, right?
00:05:03.700 You should have Mayorkas.
00:05:04.840 You should have Ray.
00:05:06.020 You should have Merrick Garland.
00:05:07.460 Obviously, Biden, the Hunter Biden situation, bribery, and I don't want to sound like a bad note.
00:05:13.980 It seems – in everything that's going on right now, it's a little forced into the system.
00:05:19.420 And people have to understand, between Raskin and Goldman, right, you're going to have two hammers that are going to question.
00:05:26.380 So today, if you're going to start off with this, you have to have some muzzle velocity, right?
00:05:31.280 You have to have some credible witnesses to kind of lay – they've got to frame it.
00:05:34.740 They have to frame exactly why we're doing this and where this is going to go.
00:05:39.080 They have to be able to deliver the information to the American people to put the argument in place,
00:05:46.100 the foundation in place to show why Biden should be impeached.
00:05:50.000 Okay.
00:05:50.240 That's exactly what the poll you'll say.
00:05:51.600 I think we've got Comer up now.
00:05:52.660 Let's hit Comer.
00:05:53.300 Okay.
00:05:53.840 There was no wall.
00:05:55.560 The door was wide open to those who purchased what a business associate described as the Biden brand.
00:06:01.400 Evidence reveals that then-Vice President Joe Biden spoke, dined, and developed relationships
00:06:07.740 with his family's foreign business targets.
00:06:11.500 These business targets include foreign oligarchs who sent millions of dollars to his family.
00:06:16.240 It also includes a Chinese national who wired a quarter of a million dollars to his son.
00:06:20.860 Joe Biden also lied to the American people about his family making money in China.
00:06:25.000 He continued to lie about it even when the House Oversight Committee uncovered bank wires
00:06:30.320 revealing how the Bidens received millions from Chinese companies with significant ties
00:06:36.540 to Chinese intelligence and the Chinese Communist Party.
00:06:40.280 Just this week, we uncovered two additional wires sent to Hunter Biden that originated in
00:06:45.300 Beijing from Chinese nationals.
00:06:47.020 This happened when Joe Biden was running for president of the United States, and Joe Biden's
00:06:53.140 home is listed as the beneficiary address.
00:06:57.400 To date, the House Oversight Committee has uncovered how the Bidens and their associates created over
00:07:01.700 20 shell companies, most of which were created when Joe Biden was vice president, and raked in
00:07:07.140 over $20 million between 2014 and 2019.
00:07:11.160 We've also identified nine Biden family members who have participated in or benefited from these
00:07:18.800 shady business schemes.
00:07:20.840 Now, what were the Bidens selling to make all this money?
00:07:25.000 Joe Biden himself.
00:07:27.520 Joe Biden is the brand, and Joe Biden showed up at least two dozen times with business targets
00:07:32.080 and associates sending signals of access, influence, and power to those prepared to pay for it.
00:07:37.820 The American people demand accountability for this culture of corruption.
00:07:42.340 They demand to know how these schemes have compromised President Biden and threaten our
00:07:46.500 national security.
00:07:48.040 They demand safeguards to be put in place to prevent public officials from selling access
00:07:52.280 to their public office for private gain.
00:07:55.380 Under the leadership of Speaker Kevin McCarthy, House Republicans have now opened an impeachment
00:07:59.280 inquiry into President Joe Biden.
00:08:02.440 By opening an impeachment inquiry, our investigation is now focused on whether President Biden engaged
00:08:07.200 in impeachable offenses under the U.S. Constitution.
00:08:10.700 It empowers Congress, elected by the people, to continue providing the answers, transparency,
00:08:17.320 and accountability that the American people demand and deserve.
00:08:21.840 In recent history, Democrats inflicted much damage on the credibility of congressional investigations
00:08:26.440 by peddling the Russian collusion hoax.
00:08:29.300 But this committee, under this majority, will not pursue such witch hunts based on manufactured
00:08:35.520 allegations, innuendo, and no real evidence.
00:08:40.000 Today, the House Oversight Committee will examine over two dozen pieces of evidence revealing Joe
00:08:45.420 Biden's corruption and abuse of public office.
00:08:48.120 This includes emails, text messages, bank records, and testimony of Biden business associates.
00:08:53.800 We will hear from legal and financial experts about this evidence and crimes that may have
00:08:58.800 been committed as Joe Biden was sold around the world.
00:09:02.540 The House Oversight Committee, along with the committees on the judiciary and ways and
00:09:05.440 means, will continue to follow the money and the evidence to provide accountability so
00:09:10.800 that Americans know their public offices are not for sale.
00:09:14.360 I now yield to Jason Smith, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, for his opening
00:09:18.380 statement.
00:09:19.300 Thank you, Chairman Comer.
00:09:20.300 Yesterday, the Ways and Means Committee released new documents showing President Biden was not
00:09:26.180 just aware of his son's business dealings, but he was connected to them.
00:09:31.860 In a newly released message to a Chinese business executive, Hunter Biden mentions preserving the
00:09:38.680 quote, keys to my family's only asset.
00:09:42.720 That asset, Joe Biden.
00:09:45.460 New evidence released in response to questions raised by members of the committee
00:09:49.860 on both sides when Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, the two IRS whistleblowers, testified in
00:09:55.960 July, paints a disturbing picture of a revolving door between Joe Biden's office and Hunter Biden's
00:10:02.440 business partners.
00:10:03.780 According to a worksheet provided by IRS whistleblower Ziegler, then Vice President Biden's April 2014
00:10:12.420 official visit to Ukraine occurred only days after a series of White House meetings with Hunter Biden and his business associates regarding Ukraine.
00:10:24.780 Shortly after Joe Biden returned stateside, the Ukrainian company Burisma announced Hunter Biden's appointment to its board.
00:10:33.520 New evidence provided shows Hunter Biden using his father's position to gain favor with billionaire Miguel Alamon, including having Joe Biden host them at the White House in February of 2014 at the Vice President's residence alongside Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim in November of 2015.
00:10:56.700 And then in 2016, using Air Force Two to shuttle Hunter Biden and his business associate to Mexico City, whether it was lunches, phone calls, White House meetings or official foreign trips, Hunter Biden cashed in by arranging access to Joe Biden, the family brand.
00:11:19.500 The Biden family and their associates received millions in payments from foreign sources, including from Russia, China, Ukraine, Romania.
00:11:30.380 In one email, Hunter Biden even bragged that he cut a deal for 10 million from just one company for, quote, introductions alone.
00:11:39.820 And yet the DOJ wanted to keep the spotlight as far from Joe Biden as possible.
00:11:44.500 One of the items we released yesterday was an IRS interview with James Biden, the president's brother, in September of 2022.
00:11:55.080 The agency was barred in the interview from asking him about Joe Biden and about whether Joe Biden was involved in Hunter Biden's deal with a Chinese energy company.
00:12:07.260 And when Hunter Biden had his tax liability of over two million mysteriously paid for by a Democrat Party donor named Kevin Morris, who he barely knew, something IRS investigators saw as a possible campaign finance violation.
00:12:23.700 Assistant U.S. Attorney Leslie Wolfe said she did not want any of the agents to look into the allegation behind on the board are notes.
00:12:33.140 Agent Chapley took from that meeting, he notes that Wolfe told investigators that she was not, quote, personally interested in pursuing it.
00:12:43.040 This is the same attorney, Wolfe, who in an email we released yesterday responded to IRS investigators seeking approval for a search warrant with, quote, there should be nothing about political figure one in here.
00:12:57.600 That being a reference by definition of Joe Biden.
00:13:01.220 The Biden family sold access to Joe Biden's power and the Biden Justice Department protected the Biden brand.
00:13:09.020 We must continue to follow the facts.
00:13:12.180 Yield to Jim, yield to Representative Jordan.
00:13:15.420 I thank the gentleman for yielding.
00:13:16.620 This is a tale as old as time.
00:13:19.360 Politician takes action that makes money for his family and then he tries to conceal it.
00:13:25.380 Never forget four fundamental facts.
00:13:27.240 Hunter Biden gets put on the board of Burisma, gets paid a lot of money.
00:13:31.380 Hunter Biden's not qualified, fact number two, to sit on the board.
00:13:34.680 Not my words, his words.
00:13:36.220 He said he got on the board because of the brand, because of the name.
00:13:39.120 Fact number three.
00:13:40.260 The executives at Burisma ask Hunter Biden to weigh in and help them with the pressure they are under from the prosecutor in Ukraine.
00:13:47.740 Fact number four.
00:13:49.780 Joe Biden goes to Ukraine on December 9th, 2015, gives the speech attacking the prosecutor that starts the process of getting that guy fired.
00:13:58.660 Those facts, by the way, are consistent with what the confidential human source told the FBI and the FBI recorded in the 1023 form.
00:14:07.440 The same form that the Justice Department didn't want to let this committee see.
00:14:12.900 And all those facts, all of that was further confirmed yesterday with the information that the Ways and Means Committee released from the whistleblowers Shapley and Ziegler.
00:14:23.620 Here's a communication from Hunter Biden to an executive with Burisma.
00:14:27.420 Devin and I do feel comfortable with Blue Star strategies and the ability of Sally and Karen to deliver.
00:14:34.240 Hunter Biden put Burisma in touch with Blue Star strategies.
00:14:38.880 What were they going to deliver?
00:14:41.000 Well, that was in a communication release yesterday as well.
00:14:43.820 U.S. officials in Ukraine and in the United States need to express support for Burisma and Nikolai Zalsevsky to the highest level decision makers.
00:14:54.100 The president of Ukraine, the president's chief of staff and the prosecutor general.
00:14:59.300 That's what they were going to deliver.
00:15:00.720 And were they successful?
00:15:04.240 The interior minister confirmed that Zalsevsky is no longer wanted.
00:15:08.780 We won in less than a year.
00:15:10.500 Communications between the folks at Blue Star and Eric Sherwin, who was Hunter Biden's business partner.
00:15:17.620 Awesome work.
00:15:18.520 Congratulations to you guys.
00:15:19.900 Those are the communications.
00:15:21.360 That's what they got done.
00:15:23.080 And remember, when this happens in October 2016, when the pressure is taken off, the cases dropped against Zalsevsky.
00:15:29.580 This is the second prosecutor.
00:15:32.580 Joe Biden fired the first one.
00:15:34.540 The second prosecutor comes in, drops the charges.
00:15:37.860 That's exactly what they want to done.
00:15:40.480 And the final step, the final step is the Biden Justice Department tries to sweep it all under the rug.
00:15:47.020 They slow walk the investigation.
00:15:49.520 They let the statute of limitations lapse for the most important years, 14 and 15, the burisma years when all that income is coming in.
00:15:57.280 They try to put together this sweetheart deal and get it past the judge.
00:16:00.580 And we learned yesterday in the search warrant, examining Hunter Biden's electronic communications, they weren't allowed to ask about political figure one.
00:16:13.420 Political figure number one is the big guy, is Joe Biden.
00:16:19.080 And they would have gotten away with it all.
00:16:21.300 They would have gotten away with it all, except for two brave whistleblowers who sat in those seats two months ago and told their story.
00:16:29.200 And their story has stood up.
00:16:31.500 Two brave whistleblowers and a judge in Delaware who said, we're not going to let this happen.
00:16:35.880 That's why we're here today.
00:16:37.820 That's why this inquiry is so darn important.
00:16:41.540 It's the oldest story in the world, and those are the facts.
00:16:45.760 I yield back.
00:16:46.940 Gentleman yields back.
00:16:48.260 Chair now recognized his ranking member Raskin of Maryland for his opening statement.
00:16:51.920 Mr. Chairman, thank you.
00:16:53.000 Before I give my opening statement, I have a parliamentary inquiry.
00:16:56.380 As much as we respect Jamie Raskin, I can't do that.
00:17:03.320 I can't go there.
00:17:05.140 But we've got Congressman Rosendale here.
00:17:08.120 We've got Natalie Winters is all over the hearing.
00:17:10.680 I just want to make administratively, for all the live chat, we're streaming the impeachment hearing is going to be streamed on my getter and rumble.
00:17:24.340 And the House ongoing appropriations fights throughout the day are going to be streamed on Grace's getter and Grace's rumble.
00:17:34.860 Okay?
00:17:35.180 So if you can go check that out right now, you're going to have to juggle balls with all this because there's a lot going on.
00:17:42.180 I want to go back to something.
00:17:43.960 First off, I thought they laid out the case pretty well right there, Congressman.
00:17:49.140 You had Comer from Oversight, Smith from Missouri on ways and means the tax things, the tax avoidance.
00:17:57.960 And you had with the whistleblowers, of course, you had Jim Jordan in judiciary.
00:18:03.260 What is the – this has been needed for a long time.
00:18:06.780 And it's unfortunate that McCarthy held this out as something – let's go focus on this and it's just passed.
00:18:14.640 They held it out – they held this as hostage to the spending.
00:18:18.620 I just want people to understand this whole thing has been gamed by McCarthy from the beginning.
00:18:22.460 This is why when that terrible deal was cut in the spring, enough people – because Tom Massey and people said the appropriation process is where we're going to get them, right?
00:18:30.960 That was delayed and the work wasn't done.
00:18:33.340 And I think from mid-June all the way until you guys returned a week or so ago, only 15 days of work.
00:18:40.640 They just really didn't let you guys do the work, although we could have done all this.
00:18:44.340 And for those folks that have not seen it, we're streaming it off of C-SPAN.
00:18:48.940 It's been amazing.
00:18:50.120 Gates said you've done more legislating in the last two days than you've done in the last eight months.
00:18:55.620 And what it is, people talk about you guys walk up there in these bills.
00:18:58.560 You put amendments in to even cut more money or to cut more Woken weaponized that's already in there.
00:19:05.120 And then you have a debate back and forth.
00:19:06.860 That is exactly what it's about.
00:19:08.300 You go down on the floor now and this is what the American people have been thinking that – how we conduct our affairs every day.
00:19:15.240 And this is what's been going on for years, but it hasn't.
00:19:17.800 This all goes back to the battles that took place in January.
00:19:21.000 We're seeing this right now for the first time because this is – they've always done a behind closed doors with the appropriators who, quite frankly, the lobbyists are all over.
00:19:28.700 In fact, Granger left that big meeting the other day to go to a fundraiser.
00:19:33.260 A fundraiser with lobbyists.
00:19:34.620 Exactly.
00:19:34.840 The appropriations – like people have always told me there are two committees up here that really matter.
00:19:40.980 It's appropriations and ways and means because it's taxes and how the money gets out like that.
00:19:45.240 Everything else is kind of poetry.
00:19:46.980 That's exactly right.
00:19:48.020 But now you've brought it into the open.
00:19:49.740 These are the rules that you fought for in January.
00:19:52.440 This is exactly the process that we were fighting for to make sure that you had transparency, responsible funding, transparent, responsible funding of government.
00:20:03.100 And now to be able to go down on the floor and defend your position, say, look, why would I send additional funds to this agency?
00:20:11.520 Pick your agency.
00:20:12.120 Right now we're working with four – agriculture, homeland security, Department of Defense, and the state and foreign office.
00:20:18.340 These are the first four.
00:20:19.460 These are the first four out of the 12 bills.
00:20:22.320 The 12 bills.
00:20:23.060 But this would actually – lays out I think 73 percent of the discretionary budget.
00:20:29.080 Of the discretionary budget.
00:20:30.540 The mandatory – I mean this is a whole other argument.
00:20:33.700 Mandatory you're going to get into later.
00:20:35.300 Right.
00:20:35.840 That's a whole discussion.
00:20:36.760 I think people – first off, on the mandatory, just so the audience – because you guys need to be informed of all the inside baseball.
00:20:44.820 What these guys are also – these men and women are also doing, when we say mandatory, and even – there's all types of authorization issues.
00:20:53.700 Things are being authorized.
00:20:54.800 Autopilot.
00:20:54.920 It's just automatically.
00:20:55.820 It's in statute, and it will automatically have the increases to continue the spending.
00:21:03.040 Those are the things like Social Security, Medicare, that automatically just go ahead and get funded.
00:21:10.440 And there's a lot of members of Congress that love pushing additional programs into mandatory so that they never have to vote for it again.
00:21:19.220 So it's not just Social Security.
00:21:22.160 It's not just Medicare.
00:21:23.680 There are other things.
00:21:24.580 But back to the discretionary, we've got the 12 separate bills that people are supposed to be able to see, review, line item, and make decisions about certain policies and programs to see if they're effective and being bloated up or not.
00:21:41.160 And so that's where you see us making these individual amendments after the committee has done their work to say, no, we need to defund these mandates, the vaccine mandate.
00:21:51.600 That was you last night.
00:21:53.220 COVID vaccine mandates.
00:21:54.720 We need to defund the ability for the IRS to be armed.
00:21:59.840 The IRS to be armed.
00:22:01.320 Why are they being issued all these firearms and all this animation to the tune of millions of dollars?
00:22:07.340 All these departments should.
00:22:08.900 Correct.
00:22:09.600 Well, the ones that are part of the administrative state, they have two big – it's a militarized law enforcement presence.
00:22:16.220 You've seen this in Montana.
00:22:17.360 I have.
00:22:18.120 When they came to the gun shop owner, the IRS.
00:22:22.800 IRS.
00:22:23.360 Not ATF.
00:22:24.360 20 armed IRS agents.
00:22:26.940 Up-armored.
00:22:27.800 Up-armored.
00:22:28.680 Fully.
00:22:29.060 And that was to intimidate the fellow who owned the store and not only him but also all of his customers so that they were closed down for the day and anybody that drove by there was like, what in the world is going on here?
00:22:42.400 Yeah.
00:22:42.580 Okay.
00:22:43.080 I want to make sure, just some administrative – Real America's Voice is good enough.
00:22:46.560 We're going to be blowing breaks here at least through the first hour, most part of the first hour, so that we can get as much of the congressman as possible and lay out exactly what's happening on the main fight, the main line of attack here, which is to stop the orgy of spending here on Capitol Hill and hold people accountable.
00:23:04.580 We're going to talk about the tactics.
00:23:06.220 Also, we've got streaming in a number of different streams, the impeachment hearing, and I do want some of the war room posse to make sure you do, although we don't have time here to listen to Raskin.
00:23:18.240 We want people to know because Raskin and Goldman are not going to lay down.
00:23:22.020 No.
00:23:22.160 Now, understand, this is not going to be like the first impeachment hearing with President Trump where I think at least the final came in and did a very good job and some others, but they steamrolled that with no real – I mean, there was some pushback for President Trump in defense of President Trump.
00:23:40.080 Here, you're going to have – because these Democrats play for keeps.
00:23:43.700 I mean –
00:23:43.980 That's exactly right.
00:23:44.700 You're going to have Raskin.
00:23:45.640 You're going to have Goldman.
00:23:46.420 You're going to have others.
00:23:47.180 Every witness is going to be eviscerated, right?
00:23:49.960 Every witness they bring up –
00:23:50.860 They're going to be eviscerated, and they're going to flat out going to lie and use false premise in order to get their point across.
00:23:58.300 The Democrats will.
00:23:59.120 Just to make the speeches, right?
00:24:00.220 Sure they will.
00:24:01.100 Sure they will.
00:24:01.820 Well, we've seen it time and time again.
00:24:03.820 Are you – this – and let's go back in time.
00:24:07.400 Here's – we're going to talk about – the most disappointing thing to me is that why is it that this is all being rolled out right now?
00:24:17.720 This critically important impeachment inquiry at the exact same time that we are trying to proceed through the appropriations process.
00:24:28.480 This is not accidental, folks.
00:24:30.300 Where's the sign?
00:24:31.060 There are no conspiracies, but there are no coincidences.
00:24:34.720 This is not a coincidence.
00:24:35.700 Well, they did this as the shiny toy to hopefully say, oh, we've got to get – make sure the government's up and operating because we have to do this.
00:24:41.060 Because we have to continue this work.
00:24:42.620 How could we possibly allow this to fall down?
00:24:45.460 This was supposed to be – this was his first opening gambit when you guys got back from the long break.
00:24:50.460 Knowing that the work hadn't been done, he said, look, you can't get it possibly done.
00:24:53.900 We need a CR and you've got to do the impeachment.
00:24:56.360 Do you believe that Comer and Jordan and Smith are ready to go?
00:25:02.420 Do you think that they're – do you believe right now they can make the compelling case?
00:25:06.660 I think that Jordan and Comey and Jason Smith will make a compelling argument.
00:25:13.420 I think that you would have to deny the sunrise and sunset to not look at this information, any impartial individual, and say that the president didn't just violate his oath of office, okay, that he has committed crimes.
00:25:29.140 And so you're going to have two tracks going on, the impeachment process and whether he's going to be subject to that.
00:25:35.440 And I think that that will proceed to the House and get a vote to impeach him.
00:25:40.360 Obviously, the Senate has to –
00:25:41.820 You believe right now – you think you've seen enough where your colleagues are talking about it and they've got to present it and make sure it's out there and it's fair, not politicized.
00:25:48.920 But do you believe that this will lead to a vote on the House floor for impeachment?
00:25:52.380 I do.
00:25:53.400 I do not believe that the Senate is going to give us any support in the actual removal of the president.
00:25:58.500 Well, the trial is the trial.
00:25:59.620 The trial is the trial.
00:26:00.560 But do you think the grand jury will come back?
00:26:02.000 But I also think that there is enough compelling information on bank records.
00:26:07.100 I mean we're talking about documentation from third parties, okay, contributors, if you will.
00:26:12.540 And when you have bank statements that demonstrate that all of this money has flowed through the Biden crime family, that the Department of Justice is going to have a very difficult time as well explaining why there aren't criminal charges being brought up.
00:26:28.940 You're saying not just the impeachment, which is a political process.
00:26:32.380 You're saying that you believe enough is going to be revealed here in front of the American people that people are going to ask the question, why has Merrick Garland not been on time?
00:26:40.700 In fact, the one thing that people have to get their arms around, most of this information, not all of it, was also known during the Trump with Mnuchin over Treasury.
00:26:52.420 Exactly.
00:26:52.620 I mean these records have been – some of the most egregious claims are from time when Biden was vice president.
00:27:00.540 His post vice president is horrible, and particularly the involvement with the CEFC.
00:27:07.460 That's why I was brought in to take a look in the laptop from hell just to go through the documents, which you could see immediately were legitimate.
00:27:15.540 And they were very involved financially with really the capital markets allocator of One Belt, One Road to the degree that – basically bribery.
00:27:24.620 They sold out the American people.
00:27:26.020 They did.
00:27:26.340 Working with our biggest threat.
00:27:28.920 Yep, and that's why I say I really think that if the Department of Justice, Merrick Garland, doesn't come in and have a prosecutor bring up charges and prosecute this,
00:27:39.960 they're going to have a lot of explaining to do, a lot of explaining to do.
00:27:45.120 Let me go back.
00:27:45.860 I want to go back to everybody.
00:27:47.120 There was a conference this morning.
00:27:48.540 You guys have been working all night for the last couple of nights to at least get these big bills, some of the big bills through to get you 73 percent.
00:27:54.760 And the ones you're working on are defense, DHS, agriculture, and then –
00:28:00.880 State foreign ops.
00:28:01.600 State.
00:28:01.840 State Department.
00:28:02.540 State Department.
00:28:03.260 Yep.
00:28:03.400 Foreign ops, so State Department.
00:28:04.760 Those four, which would be 73 percent.
00:28:07.140 And we've already passed military construction VA, MILCON VA.
00:28:11.160 That was passed before we left in August.
00:28:12.960 Yes, yes.
00:28:13.160 So tell folks in the night – we're going to play a Boebert MTG defense department in a minute.
00:28:21.060 And give me a heads up when we get back to a witness, the first witness, or we get back to the Republican side as soon as we lose Jamie Raskin, as soon as we dump Jamie Raskin.
00:28:28.840 But I do want some people following that, right?
00:28:30.620 I know Natalie's all over it.
00:28:31.840 But in this process, you're trying to do two things.
00:28:37.600 You're trying to get additional cuts.
00:28:40.020 And you're trying to get all the woke and weaponized that hasn't been taken out when the bill has been presented already.
00:28:45.580 That is correct.
00:28:46.320 At a committee.
00:28:47.020 That is correct.
00:28:47.800 So the committees have done their work.
00:28:49.300 And honestly, they had the vast majority of the committee work done by like July the 1st.
00:28:55.320 So why is it that the bills, the appropriation bills, were not brought forward so that the House could start having their debate, discussion, and these additional amendments proposed back before we even were sent away for August?
00:29:11.880 And so I continue to say, was it out of malice or negligence?
00:29:15.460 Was this contrived?
00:29:16.580 I mean, you know.
00:29:18.440 We've got a witness going?
00:29:20.020 Okay, let's go ahead.
00:29:21.240 I'm going to put a pin in that because this is important about why the cartel did not want this to come public.
00:29:27.820 They wanted to vote.
00:29:29.020 They wanted a crisis.
00:29:30.160 They wanted to vote for one CR and roll it up to an omnibus.
00:29:33.300 Let's go back to the impeachment hearing.
00:29:34.860 Values in real estate properties while facing 91 criminal charges in four separate indictments on everything from conspiring to overthrow an election and defraud the American people to making criminal hush money payoffs to stealing classified government documents and hiding them while obstructing justice.
00:29:54.980 Impeachment is the people's final weapon of constitutional self-defense against a president who behaves like a king and violates the public trust by committing treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors equivalent to them.
00:30:10.000 It is reserved for extraordinary public offenses like inciting a violent insurrection against the American government and trying to overthrow our presidential election.
00:30:19.920 That offense in 2021, whose related crimes have resulted in hundreds of criminal convictions and hundreds more being prosecuted, led to Donald Trump's second impeachment in the House on a massive bipartisan vote of 232 to 197 and a similarly lopsided bipartisan vote.
00:30:37.120 Okay, let me take it back.
00:30:38.500 We want to get a little clip of it.
00:30:39.720 So Raskin, I think, actually makes our case.
00:30:42.240 He's got to stop for Brett sooner or later.
00:30:44.000 I'm telling you that people have to understand.
00:30:48.360 And look, I have not been overly impressed with the way, and Comer's a good man, but these guys send in assassins.
00:30:56.120 Right.
00:30:56.580 Jamie Raskin's a flat-out assassin.
00:30:59.100 But I think right there for the audience, I think he makes our case.
00:31:03.220 He's trying to dismiss this.
00:31:04.360 What type of crimes get elevated to the point that they are high crimes and, yeah, high crimes and treason?
00:31:10.840 Do you believe that the bribery here is going to be able to be delineated enough and put forward to the American people?
00:31:17.820 Because you're going to have to have the American people in back of you.
00:31:22.440 Impartial, okay, judges.
00:31:25.240 Impartial judges that look at data will not be able to deny that this information clearly demonstrates that there was bribes coming from foreign countries.
00:31:36.080 If you're in the bag, you know, you've got 38, 42 percent of the American people, you know, they don't want to hear it.
00:31:45.920 But this gives you a platform to put it in front of them.
00:31:47.940 One powerful thing about doing it, even if you had to do it now, although it should have been six months ago, is that you're putting it forward.
00:31:55.440 You're going to adjudicate this.
00:31:56.660 The mainstream media is not going to want to cover this.
00:31:58.680 Right.
00:31:58.860 But since it's a formal impeachment hearing, it gives us a platform to adjudicate.
00:32:02.320 It does.
00:32:03.000 And again, and I truly believe that any impartial individual will look at this information and say, this is clearly bribes.
00:32:11.400 You can't accept money through your children, your grandchildren, and individually from China and Russia and Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
00:32:21.340 Funny how Ukraine continues to be in the news.
00:32:24.680 Well, they fight tooth and nail.
00:32:26.680 In fact, the CR that's coming to you guys is going to have the Ukraine.
00:32:30.800 So the one thing I think you probably didn't even know this.
00:32:33.800 One thing they did do yesterday evening after we were able to get through the appropriations process on the DOD bill.
00:32:40.760 So all of the amendments were heard on the floor.
00:32:43.760 All the debate took place.
00:32:45.600 They were either passed or failed.
00:32:47.080 We did all the amendments for the appropriations bill.
00:32:49.680 They referred it back to committee, to the rules committee, and they removed the $300 million of funding for Ukraine and made that a separate bill.
00:33:01.120 So now the Department of Defense bill is going to come forward basically with no Ukraine money.
00:33:08.020 And there is the vehicle.
00:33:11.800 Yeah.
00:33:12.200 And nothing to do with the CR or anything has anything to do with the $24 billion supplemental.
00:33:19.000 No, that's a whole separate.
00:33:20.920 It's a huge fight with the Ukraine.
00:33:23.280 This is teeing up.
00:33:24.260 Ukraine is a toxic vote.
00:33:24.940 But this is teeing up exactly what we're going to see happening.
00:33:28.580 The cartel did not want this to be public.
00:33:31.080 The cartel slow walked this, took the huge break, came back, thought you guys would create it.
00:33:35.860 You would take the shiny toy of impeachment, go play in the corner, and they would do their –
00:33:40.800 They tried pushing DOD through several weeks ago.
00:33:44.400 And myself and many of my colleagues recognized that that was going to be the vehicle that they were going to try to use to bloat up all their additional spending.
00:33:52.760 And that is why we took that down in a rule.
00:33:56.720 In a rule.
00:33:57.580 Yes.
00:33:57.660 So it's complex how the procedures work.
00:34:00.160 But we took that down as the rule because we recognized it was going to be utilized as the vehicle to put the extra spending on.
00:34:06.540 Now we brought several of the bills forward.
00:34:09.340 We were able to discuss, debate, amend them.
00:34:12.200 But, boy, by stripping out that $300 million for Ukraine's funding, I think that clearly they're starting to show their hand that they want to send the Department of Defense bill back to the Senate.
00:34:26.280 And the Senate then is going to be in a position to attach all their spending, their CR that they prepared, and then send it back.
00:34:34.220 We're going to get into the complex tactics that are going on right here.
00:34:38.100 Schumer has just announced they're going to vote for cloture on the stopgap measure, the CR, on Saturday.
00:34:43.580 So the Senate will have you guys something Friday night or Saturdays and Saturdays at the latest.
00:34:47.800 Here's what I want to do, and I know we've got a lot going on in the impeachment.
00:34:50.760 I do want to play last night.
00:34:52.880 We've got some changes to the defense authorization, to the defense spending bill, including a couple of your colleagues that stood up and fought hard for different things to come out,
00:35:05.160 plus to take Austin's salary down to a dollar, which people should understand.
00:35:11.480 DHS, you had CISA, you had Patriots last night in late night and wee hours that were hammering and trying to do the Holman rule across the board on a number of controversial programs to shut down the free men and women.
00:35:26.100 That is the clear demonstration, okay, of the most clear demonstration of the power of the purse strings,
00:35:32.780 to use the Holman rule to take an individual's compensation and say we're eliminating that individual's compensation.
00:35:41.100 So if a department wants to keep them in, shift them around somewhere, they're going to have to give them a new title, a new job,
00:35:47.560 because basically that job becomes unfunded.
00:35:50.100 And you guys were hitting that, I mean, Secretary Austin, the head of the Defense Department, you also hit on CISA, I think Jen Easterly, DHS, all of it.
00:35:58.900 Let's play, and by the way, it does not sit well with MSNBC.
00:36:02.960 They went literally thermonuclear.
00:36:05.060 We've done a clip.
00:36:05.940 Let's go ahead and play that.
00:36:07.260 For that interview, the MAGA Republican House voted to cut the salary of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who is also black, to $1.
00:36:16.120 This initiative was pushed by none other than Marjorie Taylor Greene, who accused Lloyd of jeopardizing national security, presumably by being too woke.
00:36:26.980 And if Greene wants to play this rhetorical game, wouldn't the party blocking top military appointments be the one jeopardizing national security?
00:36:35.060 There's a lot to say about this.
00:36:36.560 I will just note, again, as someone who's covered politics for two decades, particularly the wake of 9-11, run up to Iraq war,
00:36:41.900 that it goes without saying, if a Democrat tried something like this, Republicans would be calling for them to be tried for treason.
00:36:48.980 And that's not hyperbole, which I'll get to in a second.
00:36:52.280 Now, not to be all done, Lauren Boebert, who has a kind of feud, I guess, with Marjorie Taylor Greene, they're in a kind of competition.
00:36:58.420 She pulled a stunt of her own today.
00:36:59.920 What she did was propose the House cut the salary of another Pentagon official, Sean Skelly, explicitly because Skelly is trans.
00:37:08.040 I rise today to offer my amendment that utilizes the Hohmann rule to reduce the salary of Sean Kelly,
00:37:15.920 Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness.
00:37:18.880 That salary shall be reduced to $1.
00:37:22.520 This delusional man, thinking he is a woman, embodies and espouses the wokeism that's causing significant harm to our military readiness and troop morale.
00:37:36.640 Now, setting aside how gross it is to purposefully misgender someone in that way,
00:37:43.060 Boebert's objection here is the identity of the person, right?
00:37:47.080 Imagine if Boebert tried this stunt with any other identity.
00:37:49.660 He said we need to effectively stop paying a government employee or bust them down to $1 a year because they're Greek or they're Latino or they're Jewish or they're black.
00:37:59.300 It's just an outright bit of rank bigotry directed at a service member from the well of the House, live on camera.
00:38:07.460 And what I've just given you a taste of is in the last 48 hours.
00:38:13.920 Overthrowing our government and it has lead elements, including Trump, including folks like like like the former national security adviser, Mike Flynn.
00:38:21.540 And the lead soldier in this in Congress is Tommy Tuberville, who is ridiculous, radical, reckless and racist.
00:38:27.740 And I've called him Senator Redneck because that's what he is.
00:38:30.600 You want someone to lead this ridiculous, racist thing that undermines our national security.
00:38:35.180 Tommy Tuberville is like me. I'll be your guy. And he is now doing that.
00:38:38.180 He's got 10 minions who followed him to vote against C.Q. Brown.
00:38:41.020 And every day it's something new that undermines our national security.
00:38:44.560 It hurts our troops. It hurts our morale. Our enemies are celebrating.
00:38:47.600 But Vladimir Putin loves this. But there's also the political side of this.
00:38:50.760 This is driving the GOP further and further away from America and especially from independents like me.
00:38:55.460 I've called this the Confederate wing of the GOP.
00:38:57.400 They don't want to preserve the military of 2023.
00:38:59.600 They want to create the Confederate army. They want to take us back to the 1800s.
00:39:03.400 They don't understand this modern world and they're fighting it.
00:39:07.400 And we've got to fight back.
00:39:10.060 OK, I think we do understand the modern world.
00:39:12.500 Here's one thing that Hammerhead's got to understand.
00:39:15.380 You can't spend the kind of money you're spending.
00:39:17.600 The biggest national security threat we have right now.
00:39:20.320 And remember, we're the we're the lead element.
00:39:22.560 We're the lead unit in the anti-CCP.
00:39:25.220 The Beijing's laughing at us right now because they know we're going to financially collapse.
00:39:28.620 We're doing their job. Yes, 100 percent.
00:39:30.380 So you see it right there. I want to give people a flavor.
00:39:34.340 Austin's salary coming out of the House of Representatives is going to be a dollar.
00:39:39.260 Right. Right. You can't take it to zero.
00:39:40.740 You can actually take only ten. It's a buck.
00:39:42.360 There are some that argue you have to leave it at minimum wage.
00:39:45.220 But those of us that are a little bit more aggressive.
00:39:48.460 That's pretty huge.
00:39:49.340 Sure it is. It's very huge.
00:39:51.140 And these are the same types of arguments and removing Austin's salary and taking the defunding different sections of the Department of Defense to remove the weaponization.
00:40:03.760 You hear the argument time and time again.
00:40:06.260 We're not just spending all of this money.
00:40:08.980 They're spending all this money and giving it to people that want to do us harm.
00:40:13.680 Our own government, the weaponization of our government is a real thing.
00:40:18.640 And so by taking this money, not only are we reducing the amount of money that the federal government is consuming, but we're removing the power away from them.
00:40:27.800 And that is what this is all about.
00:40:29.240 That's what I thought you, Biggs, and others on DHS last night were amazing because you went after CISA.
00:40:34.680 A lot of people in our audience know Jen Easterly and what CISA tried to do to stop conservative voices.
00:40:39.800 I mean it's basically – it's the SS of what they call disinformation and misinformation.
00:40:45.160 It's exactly what it is to allow their propaganda machine to go out there and spread information and then to listen to the opposition on the House floor talk about –
00:40:56.360 we just want to make sure people get accurate, and we just want to make sure they get accurate information.
00:41:02.340 Right thing.
00:41:02.820 They want to correct them.
00:41:03.980 We want them to know where this information is coming from and we're going to be the judges of what is accurate and what is not.
00:41:11.560 I want to play – and folks have to understand, they're cutting billions of dollars, additional billions of dollars out of the budget,
00:41:17.140 plus they're taking the weaponization and the woke, and these are tough fights that are going on.
00:41:21.020 And you win – you guys win some.
00:41:22.560 You win some, you lose some.
00:41:23.700 But you have called for recorded votes.
00:41:25.120 And it's being done publicly instead of 13 people going behind a curtain and making the deal.
00:41:31.420 This is why the – this is why leadership and the lobbyists hate this.
00:41:35.340 Oh, yeah.
00:41:35.580 Because it's exposing, as I said, who actually governs you.
00:41:38.320 Is it the lobbyists and the money interest in D.C. or is it the people's representatives?
00:41:43.580 And you're seeing now, hey, it's probably a coin flip, and that's why it's so important to fight the CR.
00:41:48.980 Let's go ahead and play.
00:41:49.660 Do I have the congressmen from DHS last night?
00:41:52.520 Let's go ahead and play it.
00:41:53.100 Thanks.
00:41:53.360 Thank you, Madam Chair.
00:41:55.200 My amendment number 74 would reduce the total amount of funds appropriated by this bill to move our country towards fiscal responsibility,
00:42:03.580 bringing spending towards fiscal year 2022 levels.
00:42:07.720 We all know that we're facing a $33 trillion national debt, and at the spending levels that are being proposed by the appropriation bills that we've been going over the last several days,
00:42:19.000 we very easily could be facing an additional $3 trillion addition to that debt by the time you add the interest in.
00:42:27.040 It is clear that President Biden and Secretary Mayorkas have no interest in securing our border or enforcing immigration law.
00:42:34.880 Instead, this administration is spending money to encourage illegal immigration through illegal migrant parole programs and cooperation with far-left NGOs.
00:42:46.100 Additionally, Secretary Mayorkas has issued countless memos handicapping law enforcement efforts from ICE and from CBP.
00:42:55.820 I've gone down there and visited the border myself several times.
00:42:59.420 As long as President Biden refuses to enforce immigration law and stop the invasion at our southern border, DHS should not be rewarded with a budget increase.
00:43:11.980 President Trump secured the border and provided for our national defense with significantly less money.
00:43:20.720 It is abundantly clear that Biden's border crisis is a deliberate policy.
00:43:25.900 All night long, you guys are hammering to make sure that this border crisis stopped the talk.
00:43:30.960 Let's talk about money.
00:43:32.020 What are you trying to accomplish there?
00:43:33.540 It's directing the money properly.
00:43:35.500 I mean, always the federal government is just ready to take additional funds.
00:43:42.420 I've gone down and talked to CBP.
00:43:44.100 You've talked to CBP.
00:43:45.160 Those guys are like, don't send us more money because if you send us more money, it's going to allow us to process people faster, bring people into the country faster.
00:43:53.900 Because it's a processing.
00:43:55.160 It's a processing place.
00:43:56.240 They're concierge.
00:43:56.440 That's exactly right.
00:43:57.140 They're not there to stop it.
00:43:58.580 That's exactly right.
00:43:59.660 And so they're saying, no, don't do that.
00:44:01.340 It's the policies that we have to implement, and these aren't in theory.
00:44:06.720 We saw it under the Trump administration.
00:44:09.140 The policies were put in place to make sure that all of these asylum claimers, not asylum seekers, asylum claimers, the remaining Mexico policy, that in and of itself just curbed the flow of humanity into our country dramatically.
00:44:26.320 Let's go.
00:44:27.120 We got Turley as a witness.
00:44:28.700 Let's jump in and hear a little Professor Turley.
00:44:30.620 We'll come back.
00:44:32.220 Since James Madison.
00:44:34.700 Now, dishonesty alone is not impeachable, and so what I lay out in my testimony are what I call guardrails or best practices.
00:44:43.680 Those are designed to protect this process.
00:44:48.020 Frankly, a number of the things I lay out benefit President Biden, as I say in my testimony.
00:44:53.780 Because presidential impeachment shouldn't be a close question.
00:44:56.620 It shouldn't be a rush to judgment.
00:44:57.820 And you should avoid the type of confirmation bias that can occur in this process.
00:45:04.340 This is, as people say, a political process, but it is also a constitutional process.
00:45:09.480 Influence peddling is a form of corruption.
00:45:13.800 The United States has signed treaties to combat this form of corruption around the world.
00:45:20.220 And that is also an inescapable fact.
00:45:25.000 We need to find answers as to some of these questions.
00:45:29.760 I'm running out of time, so I'd like to make one last observation, if I may.
00:45:35.260 These are constitutional moments that demand the best from each of us, that transcend the politics and passions of our time.
00:45:44.580 It calls for something that's difficult.
00:45:46.620 It calls for solemnity and clarity for members.
00:45:50.200 We have become a nation addicted to rage, and we can fuel that.
00:45:55.920 This body is a powerful teacher, as Brandeis said, and you can teach that, or you can teach a respect for this process.
00:46:03.160 It begins here and now.
00:46:05.380 We can disagree with each other without hating each other.
00:46:09.140 These are important issues, and I think they're close issues.
00:46:11.580 And I think some of these issues really do gravitate in favor of the president.
00:46:17.140 So I would simply say that this is a moment where members and citizens can't stand together without prejudging the evidence.
00:46:23.720 And I thank you for the honor of appearing before you today.
00:46:27.300 Thank you, Professor Charlie.
00:46:28.800 Ms. O'Connor.
00:46:32.260 Mr. Chairman, Ranking Member, Members of the Committee.
00:46:35.860 The Chairman invited me to share my thoughts on the conduct of the tax investigation into Hunter Biden.
00:46:40.920 I make my comments on my own behalf as a private citizen and not on behalf of any person with whom or group with which I might be or have been affiliated.
00:46:49.940 What I learned that experienced IRS special agents had felt compelled to report to Congress about the obstruction of the bill.
00:46:55.840 Lay out, we are where we are.
00:46:57.700 You guys are working all night on these four big – when are they going to come to the actual floor for a vote so that you can ship them to the Senate?
00:47:05.580 When is that going to happen?
00:47:06.380 Okay, so the agreement was made last week that we were going to bring these four bills up.
00:47:10.200 We would amend.
00:47:11.180 We would debate.
00:47:11.960 Each one of them.
00:47:12.660 You would legislate first.
00:47:13.940 We would legislate, by golly.
00:47:15.680 Okay?
00:47:16.080 And once the amendment process was completed on all four, then we would start bringing them up for passage.
00:47:22.720 Okay, so I'm anticipating that today, later on today, I think we have votes between 4 and 6 p.m., and then I think we will come back in later on this evening, another 10 o'clock shift.
00:47:35.360 That's my understanding.
00:47:37.360 My expectation is that we will probably bring Department of Defense up in the four- to six-hour shift.
00:47:43.760 That would be my expectation.
00:47:45.100 And I think that –
00:47:46.620 The defense budget – I want to make – I want to give this audience insight baseball.
00:47:50.280 There's some treacherous shoals we have to navigate on this, correct?
00:47:54.380 There are.
00:47:55.000 Okay, walk us through that because they're going to use that understanding –
00:47:57.560 That's going to be the vehicle.
00:47:58.820 Okay.
00:47:59.020 I'm absolutely convinced that this is going to be the vehicle, and the reason that I say that is because it's –
00:48:06.680 The vehicle to crush the resistance on the right to get to massive cuts.
00:48:11.400 That is exactly right.
00:48:12.440 So walk us through how we're going to do that.
00:48:13.260 So they bring those four bills through.
00:48:15.040 Okay, you pass DOD, and it goes over to the Senate.
00:48:18.380 The Senate has already constructed their own continuing resolution.
00:48:22.340 I am told that we're probably going to have a continuing resolution that's been crafted by several members of the House brought forward tomorrow.
00:48:30.420 But hang on.
00:48:30.800 The Senate CR just to keep – has no even interim cuts.
00:48:36.980 It's 47 days, so it gets – it tees up Youngkin to run against Trump.
00:48:41.480 So it's 47 days.
00:48:42.700 Sure.
00:48:43.180 It has no cuts whatsoever in the ephemeral aid.
00:48:46.040 It perpetuates Nancy Pelosi's spending and Joe Biden's policies.
00:48:50.340 For another 47 days.
00:48:51.440 Plus it puts some Ukraine spending again.
00:48:52.800 $6 billion Ukraine.
00:48:54.040 Yeah.
00:48:54.600 People are trying to understand.
00:48:56.380 The Ukraine bill they're looking for, the total – we put $120 in.
00:49:00.500 They're looking for $80 billion minimum for this coming year.
00:49:03.860 They're going to try to figure out how they hoodwink people.
00:49:07.280 So that defense bill, they're going to try to use this to crush you guys.
00:49:09.920 So what I truly believe is going to happen, they finish up – the Senate's going to finish up their CR, I think, on Saturday.
00:49:15.100 They will finally have that thing completed.
00:49:18.740 You're right.
00:49:19.080 They're going to be ready to do something with it.
00:49:20.960 They are not going to send that over to the House of Representatives by itself.
00:49:25.780 But as soon as that Department of Defense appropriation bill hits the United States Senate, I don't know their processes over there,
00:49:35.080 but I will guarantee you that they both end up in a mixing bowl to try and bake a cake and send it back to us at the very beginning of the week.
00:49:43.060 And now they're going to be able –
00:49:45.060 To put a gun to your head and say you're not patriots if you don't want to follow the truth.
00:49:47.100 Well, first they're going to strip out all of the good work that everybody that you've been showing clips for has taken care of over the last several days,
00:49:56.060 removing the woke spending.
00:49:58.380 And NTG's $1 for Austin will be –
00:50:00.920 He'll be fully funded, okay?
00:50:04.080 They're going to take out – they're going to allow the transgender surgeries to be funded by the Department of Defense again.
00:50:09.440 They're going to allow taxpayers to fund abortions through the Department of Defense again.
00:50:13.860 They're going to allow the Green New Deal, battery-operated Jeeps, for Pete's sakes, to be in the DOD.
00:50:19.860 They're going to strip out the good savings.
00:50:22.860 They're going to attach the Senate CR, which perpetuates Nancy Pelosi's spending, Joe Biden's policies,
00:50:29.400 and throws a little bit in there more, several billion for Ukraine.
00:50:33.660 And I'm telling you, they will send it back to us.
00:50:35.780 And then Kevin's going to have his unholy coalition again of Democrats and limited number of Republicans that will pass that bill
00:50:45.280 because they have removed all of the things they didn't want, the Democrats.
00:50:50.440 They'll have all the spending that they do want, and we're going to see who he actually serves.
00:50:56.680 Does he serve Hakeem Jeffries and the Democrats, or is he going to be the leader of the Republican Party?
00:51:02.480 The two things.
00:51:03.980 He's also working simultaneously on his own CR that has his own CR that is also great.
00:51:10.100 It has the femoral 8% cuts.
00:51:12.440 It has the phony border security.
00:51:15.220 This is going to be the flag that they wave, okay, and they'll bring that up tomorrow and say we can't pass it
00:51:21.320 because there are enough patriots in the House, in the Republican Party right now that say we're not going to pass any CR
00:51:27.980 because it's not the proper way to fund government.
00:51:30.840 And so that's going to go down.
00:51:32.660 That's going to go tomorrow.
00:51:33.300 And he's going to say my hands are tied.
00:51:35.060 I have to take this Senate deal.
00:51:36.540 A Senate deal.
00:51:38.000 That's what's going to happen.
00:51:39.460 Then looking downrange, and when I say downrange, Sunday, if this happens over the weekend,
00:51:46.760 will there – he's essentially for the second time, the debt ceiling is the first time,
00:51:50.580 the second time is now with this.
00:51:54.680 Is it to get the CR?
00:51:56.040 Will then there be enough evidence for a motion to vacate?
00:51:59.860 He's going to say, oh, no, I'm using a compromise bill from the Senate, which 17 or 20-some Republicans voted for,
00:52:07.040 to give him air cover.
00:52:08.200 But will the patriots in the House that stood in the breach to shoot down the first CR
00:52:14.440 and have been the people all night long?
00:52:16.260 You see them.
00:52:17.140 It's Biggs.
00:52:17.900 It's Gates.
00:52:18.740 It's Boebert.
00:52:19.440 It's Rosendale.
00:52:20.760 It's MTG.
00:52:22.140 It's Andy – it's all the – Ogles.
00:52:24.740 You guys have been up there all night long putting these amendments up.
00:52:28.260 Exactly.
00:52:28.640 You're going to stand in the breach.
00:52:29.860 Do you guys have the stones to say we've had enough of this?
00:52:33.180 I think we have to.
00:52:34.540 Once he forms this unholy coalition again of Democrats, if in fact – okay, my prediction comes true –
00:52:41.440 and he forms this unholy coalition again of Democrats and Republicans to pass a continuing resolution,
00:52:49.040 which is attached to a piece of legislation, I think at that point we say you're not leading our party
00:52:56.880 and you will see a motion to vacate come forward.
00:53:00.280 Also, all the work and all the fight and all the cuts that have been done
00:53:04.720 and the de-weaponization that's been done and the defanging, McCarthy doesn't want any of that
00:53:09.940 because the lobbyists want – the lobbyists want all the money and even more
00:53:14.980 and they're too gutless to – they don't want to confront how Leviathan is woke
00:53:22.060 and if we don't get into this process and take it out, all the talk and every time he talks about limited government
00:53:27.900 and American –
00:53:29.300 Everybody talks about limited government.
00:53:31.220 It's disgusting and disgraceful while they're campaigning
00:53:35.140 and when you come up here and start casting votes, that's when we find out
00:53:39.840 who's going to fight for limited government.
00:53:42.460 Do not listen to what people say.
00:53:45.220 Watch what they do.
00:53:46.620 That's what counts.
00:53:47.800 Looking at you, what's your social media?
00:53:49.960 How can people – because I've got to tell you, folks, this is as intense as I've ever seen it
00:53:54.060 and the pressure on you guys and the games that are being played, they're doing push-pulls,
00:53:57.720 they're trying to get influencers, they're trying to pay influencers to say nasty stuff.
00:54:00.760 They're trying to pay influencers to go out and say bad things in our communities.
00:54:05.380 That is really a lot.
00:54:06.780 They're push-pulling, too.
00:54:07.640 They're saying, oh, look, Kevin's so popular in Montana.
00:54:09.960 I don't think so.
00:54:11.000 I don't think that's a –
00:54:12.700 Maybe Missoula.
00:54:14.320 Exactly.
00:54:15.120 Come see me.
00:54:16.040 In the dorms.
00:54:16.860 Yeah, in the dorms.
00:54:17.980 There you go.
00:54:19.580 At RepRosendale.
00:54:20.900 All my social media platforms, at RepRosendale.
00:54:23.720 If you want to go to the campaign side to give us some help because we are going to be attacked at every angle.
00:54:30.100 Matt for Montana, Matt, F-O-R, Montana.com.
00:54:35.620 Carrie Lake has given an interview to the Wall Street Journal where she tells us that on 10 October around Phoenix, Arizona,
00:54:45.900 she's going to have a rally and announce that she's running for the United States Senate.
00:54:49.420 She's put that marker out there.
00:54:51.000 Do we have any news to break on Congressman Roosevelt?
00:54:53.780 You're fighting the – you've got enough worry right now to fight the good fight here.
00:54:56.940 Look, we've got a lot going on here right now.
00:54:59.420 I will tell you that the support that I have received and the encouragement that I have received across the state is overwhelming.
00:55:07.120 When you go to the – forget about these guys sitting up here on Capitol Hill.
00:55:10.500 When I go to my former colleagues in the state legislature and I have the state senate president, the state speaker of the house, 37 other legislators come on board and say,
00:55:22.420 we really need you to run for the United States Senate and remove John Tester.
00:55:27.880 It's overwhelming.
00:55:28.900 It's humbling.
00:55:29.440 For a great state like Montana and the hardworking folks out there and the patriots to be represented by a guy like Tester that supports all the – destroying our sovereignty of the southern border.
00:55:41.500 Or another yes man for Mitch McConnell.
00:55:43.800 Yes.
00:55:45.040 Oh, the guy –
00:55:46.180 Did you get Miles to give you my new version of the song yet?
