00:01:56.900 And they all voted against trying to codify some kind of equality when it comes to wage discrimination based on gender.

00:02:35.780 And there's a sense that this is a world that is changing, that we can stop time where men, predominantly white men like us, are in power.

00:02:52.620 You end up with there's five senators in the history of America that have been confirmed to the Supreme Court with senators representing a minority of the country.

00:03:10.040 You have larger states that are getting larger and smaller states, like Contrast, have the same amount of power in the Senate.

00:03:26.420 And Joe Biden's best group in 20 were younger voters.

00:03:39.640 And it's one of the reasons if I ran the Democratic Party, I would wake up every day trying to get in a culture war because they're winning these culture wars.

00:03:53.680 They took on the NASCAR over the Confederate flag.

00:04:08.020 And one thing that Republicans had, at least like to believe that we had to present, was an optimism.

00:04:16.960 That there was some, that we're flawed now, we're all flawed, but there's some sort of sweeping vision that could unite us.

00:04:31.520 And I always tell people, if you want to see what Donald Trump's going to do if he gets reelected, don't think about him lining up people against the walls and having them shot.

00:04:43.940 Where he's bragged about having a liberal democracy and he's wiped out the judiciary, he's wiped out the free press.
00:04:51.500 And, Anne, I suppose that's probably what Donald Trump will look for as a blueprint if he gets elected again.
00:04:58.040 Well, one thing we know he'll do, and there are plans floating around that indicate that he'll try, certainly he will try to eliminate the civil service in the United States, public administration.
00:05:10.100 And while, you know, civil service can always be reformed and we can have legitimate arguments about it, the idea that he could fire everybody and replace them with loyalists, in other words, with just people who are loyal to him and who aren't necessarily qualified in any other way.

00:05:26.960 That's exactly what he's being accused of right now.
00:05:29.560 That is exactly what law and justice did.
00:05:31.800 You know, they brought in people who weren't competent, but instead were, you know, somebody's cousin or somebody's wife or somebody's, you know, some party member to run, you know, to run the state.

00:05:49.340 And in the case of Netanyahu, I mean, at the very least, we know for a fact that the aftermath of the Hamas raids, in other words, cleaning up those towns and villages that were attacked, all of that has been done by volunteers, including some of the volunteers who were organizing demonstrations, because the government is now pretty incompetent.
00:06:07.720 And they were not able to come in and help in the aftermath.
00:06:11.640 And that's the kind of disaster that we that we could also face.
00:06:16.160 Jim, to that point, exactly, given what's happening right now, as we speak in that caucus room where Republicans are trying to arrive at someone who could get to 217 votes, they've been unsuccessful, of course, for the last three weeks in finding that person.

00:06:35.340 You'd have to be a hell of a lot more plugged in than any of us on this show to figure out how they're going to find that person.
00:06:40.740 Listen, my theory from the beginning, it's going to end up being Kevin McCarthy at the end of the day, because they're going to exhaust every other option and realize they had probably the one guy who could get most of the Republicans to vote for him.

00:11:24.660 This is really the elites, the globalist elites asking for a mandate to start now to finance the latest forever war.
00:11:34.800 So here are the two takeaway excerpts from this article, Steve.
00:11:39.500 The first one is he says that America needs, and I'm going to say this very, very slowly, it's a very short sentence, but its import is absolutely crucial for the understanding of what this failing administration is trying to do.
00:11:52.540 It says America needs a sustained sense of confidence in our, and here are the key words, capacity to out-compete any country.
00:12:02.880 It's there in black and white, Steve.
00:12:04.280 They just want money, money, money to pursue one war after another.
00:12:08.000 That's what it means by capacity to out-compete any country in the world, right?
00:12:12.440 Whether that's the second most powerful nation, China, all the way down, whether we're talking about Ukraine or we're talking about the holy land, they want as much money as possible to out-compete all takers.

00:12:30.680 He says, with the election of Donald Trump, the United States had a president who believed that its alliances were a form of geopolitical welfare.
00:12:40.660 That's an astonishing claim, because any neutral observer of the Trump administration could see quite clearly that here was an administration dictating the agenda.
00:12:50.660 Here we saw world leaders waiting to see what Donald Trump was going to say, what he was going to do, because they were interested in knowing what the White House thought of any international consideration.
