Bannon's War Room - Episode 3129： MAGA Ascendent; The Swamp Was Defeated

00:00:00.000 So, today, that faction, the MAGA faction, the anti-democracy faction, the far-right, won, and they celebrated.

00:00:08.880 The chief architect of this battle, Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida, took a victory lap on Steve Bannon's program.

00:00:14.560 MAGA is ascendant, and if you don't think that moving from Kevin McCarthy to MAGA Mike Johnson shows the ascendance of this movement

00:00:22.740 and where the power in the Republican Party truly lies, then you're not paying attention.

00:00:28.300 Now, Gaetz is talking his book, as always, and he'll probably do 19 more podcast hits before I come back and talk to you tomorrow night.

00:00:36.440 He and his coalition are proud of what they've achieved.

00:00:39.880 The majority of their caucus, including their new speaker, tried to overturn the last election, and they're proud of that.

00:00:45.860 In fact, the message they're sending in choosing Mike Johnson, and this is important for everyone to understand, because that's where we are,

00:00:51.840 is not only they're proud of that, but they are unbowed, and they are ready, and they are willing to try again.

00:00:59.580 He said it, he did it, and he's here.

00:01:01.480 Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz, my live guest in studio in Washington.

00:01:05.100 I know it was a busy day on the floor. Thanks for being here.

00:01:07.360 Welcome to you to Washington. We're glad to have you here.

00:01:09.880 Here I am. Let's get right to it.

00:01:11.440 What does today's speaker vote mean, and did you cut any side deals this time like we heard about last time?

00:01:17.620 No side deals. This speaker election means that the House Republican Conference is united, really, for the first time this Congress.

00:01:25.400 We are united behind a man of deep faith who obeys Almighty God and the Constitution before all else, and I was proud to support him.

00:01:33.720 He's not someone who comes from any particular faction of the Republican Conference.

00:01:38.820 I don't know about that.

00:01:39.580 Well, he has strong relationships from our most moderate members to our most conservative members, and you know what?

00:01:44.740 Everyone feels listened to with Mike Johnson. He has a great tone, a great leadership skill stack, and I'm going to do everything I can to make him successful.

00:01:52.840 Congressman, new speaker Mike Johnson, your thoughts.

00:01:57.620 Well, you cannot get to the right of Mike Johnson in the mega caucus.

00:02:03.340 It's just – it's inconceivable that you could get to the right of him.

00:02:08.300 I mean, there are people who are definitely more lunatic than he is, and he's got very good manners, and he's an able lawyer.

00:02:16.860 But when we say he opposed democracy, we know that from his giving a legal gloss and finish to all of Donald Trump's arguments about electoral fraud and making the independent state legislature doctrine argument, which the Supreme Court fortunately did not bite on.

00:02:36.700 But if he's not for democracy, what's he for? He's for theocracy.

00:02:41.800 He wants a nationwide ban on abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest.

00:02:49.400 He voted against affirming women's right to travel across state lines for the purposes of obtaining health care.

00:02:57.640 He's also voted against reaffirming women's contraceptive rights.

00:03:02.080 He is a real enemy of Social Security.

00:03:06.960 From my perspective, he wanted to increase the age of Social Security retirement to 70 years old.

00:03:14.660 He's very much in the Steve Bannon mode of trying to dismantle the regulatory state, by which they mean democracy itself.

00:03:23.920 And so he's a decent guy, and he's a nice guy, but nobody should be fooled by it.

00:03:30.880 Donald Trump cemented his hold over the Republican Party today, and he is in control of the House of Representatives right now.

00:03:38.540 Big picture. Take it all together.

00:03:41.400 Did Matt Gaetz and the rebels win because you got the speaker you wanted, and now you don't have to vacate or play those strategies anymore?

00:03:48.380 Or are Matt Gaetz and the so-called rebels still out here, and Johnson should be just as worried over his shoulder as McCarthy?

00:03:56.040 It's the former.

00:03:57.360 We are here to make Mike Johnson as successful a speaker as he can possibly be.

00:04:01.960 He has sat next to me for seven years on the House Judiciary Committee.

00:04:05.340 We served together on House Armed Services.

00:04:06.900 We have very aligned perspectives on a vast majority of issues.

00:04:10.900 So this is our guy.

00:04:12.220 This isn't a guy that we're going to chase around with a motion to vacate.

00:04:15.560 This is a guy we're going to do everything we can to pour into and make successful.

00:04:19.800 I gave you time.

00:04:20.640 I want to mention for viewers, it's your guy, which is different from how we started the interview, which you said.

00:04:27.260 He's everybody's guy.

00:04:28.140 He's across the board.

00:04:28.940 But now he's your side.

00:04:30.160 Well, look, look.

00:04:31.160 He can be our guy, and he can be the guy for other folks.

00:04:34.000 Everybody voted for him, but I think people can be enthusiastic about Mike Johnson for different reasons.

00:04:39.740 I'm very enthusiastic about him being an honest man, a true conservative.

00:04:44.300 I think others that might not hold his perspective on some of those policy questions really like his leadership style.

00:04:50.420 Go on and on.

00:04:50.740 This is the Speaker of the House.

00:04:51.740 You go on and on down the list.

00:04:53.060 But, Donnie, it is, is it not, the victory of MACA in this case of Donald Trump squashed Emmer, right?

00:05:00.080 He wasn't quite loyal enough to Donald Trump, and some people got to Trump and said, hey, here's all this stuff that Emmer said Trump puts out the post.

00:05:07.280 He's done.

00:05:08.360 And at the end of the day, he gets his guy.

00:05:09.740 When you have Matt Gaetz running onto Steve Bannon's podcast yesterday to celebrate this, it tells you who won. 0.86

00:05:15.120 It tells you who won, but I keep going, this is a loser in a general election.

00:05:18.840 If this is where the party is, the party is no longer the Republican Party.

00:05:21.460 It's the MACA party.

00:05:22.320 That's the party.

00:05:23.000 As my good friend Joe Scarborough would say, insurrectionists, weirdos, and freaks.

00:05:26.340 Well, here you've got to post a boy right up there.

00:05:28.120 But here's the key, Brendan, and we talked about this last time.

00:05:31.820 They have successfully, in their own conference, imposed minority will on the conference.

00:05:36.860 They have a vanguardist vision of how to do this.

00:05:40.160 They tried to impose a minority president on the United States.

00:05:43.640 They then had a rump faction of eight votes that broke the conference, and when Steve Scalise won the internal vote, they said, no, we don't accept it.

00:05:50.640 They have gotten their way as a minoritarian vanguardist movement at many steps.

00:05:56.020 They think they could do it for the whole government.

00:05:59.980 Absolutely.

00:06:01.120 But they can't on the policy matters.

00:06:04.020 The thing is, all of the things that you talked about in your monologue about who he is, Republicans don't bat an eye about that stuff.

00:06:11.620 All the things you listen are pretty mainstream for the conference right now.

00:06:15.820 The reality is you just can't make those things policy.

00:06:18.520 Now, they can stop things.

00:06:19.580 And I think we need to be very concerned about the ability of the House to process funding for Ukraine.

00:06:24.580 They can not do things.

00:06:26.680 But actually, proactively bringing bills to the floor on abortion, they already did that.

00:06:31.200 It was the first thing the House did in Congress was a series of bills on abortion.

00:06:35.180 So, like, that's not changing, but it's not going anywhere.

00:06:38.180 Now, what would happen potentially if Mike Johnson is Speaker of the House when we need to certify the next presidential election?

00:06:45.240 Keep a close eye on that.

00:06:46.440 Yes.

00:06:46.800 In terms of, like, imposing their will on Medicare and Social Security, I don't think you need to lose much sleep about it, Chris.

00:06:52.100 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:06:59.840 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

00:07:05.040 Here's the reason I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:07:09.320 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:07:11.220 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:07:12.660 I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:07:15.340 It's going to happen.

00:07:16.600 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:07:20.020 MAGA Media.

00:07:20.920 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:07:26.800 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:07:30.560 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:07:36.920 War Room.

00:07:37.760 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:07:46.040 It's Thursday, 26 October, year of our Lord, 2023.

00:07:49.500 And we have a new Speaker of the House, a new MAGA ascendant, President Trump victorious.

00:07:56.080 We're going to get into all that today.

00:07:58.100 We're going to have two of the key players, Congressman Nancy Mace, and we're going to try to get Eli Crane if votes don't start over in the House.

00:08:05.260 So we've got two of the major players in this will join us.

00:08:08.680 If we don't get Eli this morning, we will get him this afternoon.

00:08:11.860 We had to birch it on and engage yesterday.

00:08:14.400 We're going to try to take these folks a couple at a time over the next couple of days to lay out where do we go from here.

00:08:20.340 As I keep telling you, if you really want to understand where our movement is, if you really want to understand the dynamics that underlies our fight with the opposition, this is why we play these cold opens from MSNBC.

00:08:34.520 Because MSNBC has gone and gotten the Brendan Bucks, who was the right-hand man of Paul Ryan, Tim Miller, who used to be the comms director for the RNC.

00:08:45.940 I worked with Tim when I was running Breitbart for many, many years before he went to the dark side.

00:08:50.380 People like Charlie Sykes, Nicole Wallace, these are very people that are at the heart of the Republican establishment and absolutely understand very deeply the MAGA insurrection that's taken over the Republican Party.

00:09:06.040 And so we've got a lot to talk to.

00:09:07.620 That's what we planned.

00:09:08.140 I thought that was very perceptive of how they broke it down.

00:09:11.400 Of course, it's full of vitriol, and we understand that.

00:09:15.080 I hope your heads blow up every time you watch it.

00:09:16.880 But it's quite instructive, and that's why we continue to do it.

00:09:20.760 Although we didn't get enough morning Mika.

00:09:22.580 I heard her groan.

00:09:24.100 You hear the groan when Donnie Deutsch said he went on Steve Bannon's podcast.

00:09:28.660 You get that.

00:09:30.400 Okay, Mika.

00:09:31.980 We're taking notes at home.

00:09:34.220 I want to bring in Richard Stern.

00:09:35.600 And we've got Richard on.

00:09:36.640 As you know, he's a friend of the show.

00:09:37.900 We have him on a lot.

00:09:38.800 He's over at Heritage.

00:09:39.720 He's the hammer about balanced budgets, and we've got a lot to talk about, capital markets, GDP number.

00:09:45.100 But a lot of folks don't realize this.

00:09:47.240 Richard was very close.

00:09:48.600 He was the right-hand man from Mike Johnson when Mike ran, I think, the Republican Study Committee.

00:09:53.540 And you were obviously the budget, the economics, the capital markets.

00:09:57.440 Tell us about Mike Johnson.

00:09:59.820 You know, everybody has heard, because he's kind of – although he was deputy to Elise Stefanik, he really was kind of a backbencher.

00:10:07.300 But people know him as someone who will listen, not just a good man, a devout Christian, but he's clearly – and they're waking up to the fact that he is pretty conservative.

00:10:17.600 But he's also a listener.

00:10:18.740 Richard, what is your relationship with us?

00:10:21.020 Tell us about Mike Johnson.

00:10:22.180 You know, I think you hit the nail on the head as always, and it was a pleasure to be back on the show.

00:10:26.500 Thank you again.

00:10:27.480 So I had the pleasure of working for two years at the Republican Study Committee when Mike Johnson was the chair of it in the 116th Congress.

00:10:34.720 He is a fantastic man.

00:10:35.960 He is a devout Christian.

00:10:37.020 He is a real principled conservative in the way that the founders of this country were.

00:10:42.260 And so, you know, I'll tell you this.

00:10:43.540 RSC, for some reason, gets a pass from the mainstream media.

00:10:47.080 They don't care about it.

00:10:47.820 But RSC is the largest caucus.

00:10:50.220 It's the largest, oldest caucus in the House of Representatives.

00:10:53.240 It is the intellectual leader within Congress.

00:10:55.860 The RSC staff write the summaries of every bill that goes to the House of Representatives.

00:11:00.300 When members of the House tell you that they know what's in a bill, it's because their staff read an RSC ledge bulletin.

00:11:05.500 Mike Johnson ran that caucus.

00:11:07.200 And not only did he run it there, but I was part of the team that put together the conservative playbook that his office put out,

00:11:12.660 which outlined what would become a lot of the MAGA agenda, a lot of the policies that we've supported,

00:11:17.200 to save the country, a lot of the good work that Trump did.

00:11:20.020 So, you know, I would say this, right?

00:11:21.760 If you want to know who Mike Johnson is, watch the speech he gave upon becoming speaker yesterday.

00:11:26.520 For the first time in many, many years, we heard an eloquent sermon about the values that made this country what it is,

00:11:33.560 the things that we all believe in, our appreciation and respect for that gift from God of our rights and our free will.

00:11:40.900 That's what he devoted that time to.

00:11:42.620 That's the kind of man that Mike Johnson is.

00:11:44.020 Walk me through.

00:11:47.620 We know social conservatism and all that and a lot of, you know, things about messaging bills.

00:11:52.360 But the nation faces three immediate crises.

00:11:56.420 And we have, look, we have a social crisis also.

00:12:02.080 But we have, obviously, this crushing debt and the deficits.

00:12:05.900 We have the invasion of the southern border, everything that brings.

00:12:10.160 And we now have this geopolitical, the beginning of the Third World War, which we've argued for you on the show,

00:12:15.220 the Chinese Communist Party through unrestricted warfare has been at war with us for at least a couple of years.

00:12:21.600 What do you see his worldview and his perspective when you talk about those three major items?

00:12:28.080 I think he sees, frankly, a lot of the vision that Reagan cast, right, which is the understanding is in many ways that it's not three crises or a dozen,

00:12:36.840 though it's easy to think that.

00:12:38.160 It's one central crisis, right, which is we have an elite group that runs the government at the expense of everyone else in this country, right?

00:12:46.280 All those things you're talking about, right, the southern border being absolute chaos, the government running massive deficits,

00:12:52.540 which really means that the government is stealing wholesale the fruits of your labors, giving you worthless IOUs and strangling the private sector, strangling our future growth.

00:13:02.340 All of these things come back to an elite group that runs the government at the expense of your rights,

00:13:07.680 at the expense of any faith in what the American people would do if you give them their freedoms and if you respect their God-given rights.

00:13:14.340 So I think Mike Johnson's worldview is that we need that to restore faith, to give back to a government that respects those God-given rights,

00:13:22.180 that respects those foundational principles that allowed not the U.S. government but the American people to create the largest, best, wealthiest,

00:13:30.580 most technologically advanced and most moral country that has ever existed in human history.

00:13:36.800 Richard, can you hang over a second?

00:13:38.240 I want to hold you through the break.

00:13:39.640 We're going to play a little bit of that speech when we come back, and we're going to get into some of the nitty-gritty today and back of some of the numbers, GDP numbers were released.

00:13:48.000 Also, Kim.com, who you know has a massive following over on Twitter, put out today about the $600 billion of new debt in the next 30 days.

00:13:57.580 Kim.com is quite depressed about it.

00:14:01.140 He says it doesn't matter who the next president is because the country is basically being crushed underneath a mountain of debt.

00:14:07.340 So we're going to get into all of that when we return with Richard Stern from Heritage and talk about the upcoming CR, the omnibus, the fight to get control from the elites.

00:14:17.700 Mike Johnson, a fireman's son, a very devout Christian, a Baptist, a man of deep and abiding faith, is now the Speaker of the House.

00:14:26.140 That in and of itself is a massive victory.

00:14:29.680 Okay, we're going to take a short commercial break.

00:14:31.100 I want to thank the folks over at birchgold.com.

00:14:32.960 Make sure you go there today and get The End of the Dollar Empire.

00:14:36.960 I've been working on this for a couple of years.

00:14:38.500 It's a four-part series, all free to you.

00:14:40.900 And then you can share it.

00:14:43.080 Birchgold.com, The End of the Dollar Empire.

00:14:45.860 Check it out today, particularly Section 3, The Debt Trap.

00:14:49.120 Richard Stern on the other side.

00:14:50.360 We will fight till they're all gone.

00:14:55.540 We rejoice when there's no more.

00:14:57.440 Let's take down the CC.

00:14:59.040 Last month, the G20 announced a plan to impose digital currencies and digital IDs on their respective populations.

00:15:08.560 No, I'm not making that up.

00:15:10.200 That is a fact.

00:15:11.760 Central bank digital currencies essentially allow the government to track every purchase you make.

00:15:17.260 They could even allow officials to prohibit you from purchasing certain products or easily freeze or seize part or all of your money.

00:15:27.320 Let that sink in for a second.

00:15:30.900 In essence, they enable the government to take more control over your personal finances.

00:15:36.200 Concerned Americans are diversifying their assets into physical gold with the help of Birchgold Group.

00:15:42.720 If you want a physical asset held in a tax-sheltered retirement account, you should call Birchgold2.

00:15:49.460 But learn for yourself.

00:15:51.880 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898, and they'll send you a free info kit on gold.

00:15:57.680 The easiest way to become a Birchgold customer, if you have an IRA or 401k from a previous employer just gathering dust,

00:16:05.540 Birchgold can help you convert it into IRA into gold.

00:16:11.400 And you don't pay a penny out of pocket.

00:16:13.740 Let me repeat that.

00:16:14.580 You don't pay a penny out of pocket.

00:16:16.240 Text Bannon to 989898, claim your free info kit on gold, then call Birch.

00:16:22.820 Because if digital currency becomes a reality, and trust me, they're on the path to make it so,

00:16:29.240 it'll be nice to have some gold to fall back on.

00:16:33.180 It's only worked for 5,000 years of mankind's history.

00:16:37.380 Let Birchgold work for you.

00:16:39.800 Bannon, 989898, text it right now.

00:16:43.140 Take good care of it.

00:16:45.360 I want to tell all my colleagues here what I told the Republicans in that room last night.

00:16:50.680 I don't believe there are any coincidences in a matter like this.

00:16:54.080 I believe that Scripture, the Bible, is very clear that God is the one that raises up those in authority.

00:17:01.080 He raised up each of you, all of us.

00:17:03.000 And I believe that God has ordained and allowed each one of us to be brought here for this specific moment in this time.

00:17:09.080 This is my belief.

00:17:10.360 I believe that each one of us has a huge responsibility today

00:17:13.720 to use the gifts that God has given us to serve the extraordinary people of this great country,

00:17:18.160 and they deserve it.

00:17:22.220 Ladies and gentlemen, this audience, you were a major part of making that happen.

00:17:25.660 And as Richard Stern said, that is pretty extraordinary.

00:17:29.020 You haven't heard that in a long time by a man who is number two, not number three,

00:17:36.260 he's number two in line to be the commander-in-chief and president of the United States in case anything happened.

00:17:41.560 And as the founders set up, the House basically very much built upon the House of Commons is the power in Washington, D.C.

00:17:52.920 Richard Stern, pretty dramatic yesterday when an individual, as you know, this town,

00:17:58.880 I would say is fairly, to put it in the nicest terms, fairly secular.

00:18:03.100 I could go farther in the spectrum, but fairly secular or agnostic, sir?

00:18:10.520 Absolutely.

00:18:10.920 And how miserable an existence is that?

00:18:13.260 But, you know, as you were pointing out, for the first time, really, in the entire time I've been in D.C., frankly,

00:18:18.240 I'm proud of leadership.

00:18:19.320 We really finally have a conservative in the chair.

00:18:22.060 How amazing is that?

00:18:22.960 And you're absolutely right.

00:18:23.700 It's the audience of the show.

00:18:24.940 It's Matt Gaetz.

00:18:25.880 It's that whole group of people.

00:18:27.560 It's really the spirit of the Tea Party movement that has brought this into manifest reality.

00:18:32.600 And I think at the end of the day, right, what conservatism is about is that kind of faith.

00:18:37.180 It is a firm faith that God built justice into the world around us, and that what you need is to allow people to be closer to God, to work towards God's divine justice.

00:18:47.540 And what does the left offer?

00:18:49.100 They offer misery, pessimism.

00:18:50.840 They offer a lack of faith.

00:18:52.100 They offer a vision of reality that is cold, that is dark.

00:18:55.900 And so, of course, what they want you to do is beg them, just another group of humans, but somehow they believe that they are, you know, have magical, divine kind of foresight.

00:19:04.840 They don't.

00:19:05.820 But that's what they want.

00:19:06.660 They want you to beg them to come in and run your life for them.

00:19:10.180 But this here is a representation of America getting back to our values, saying, no, we will not be led around by some panel of so-called experts.

00:19:18.000 It will be led by God and by what we know is true about the world around us.

00:19:24.480 Just like Mike Johnson, they're about to unload on him like they've never unloaded on anybody since I think President Trump came on the scene.

00:19:31.180 You watch.

00:19:31.700 This is just – they're going to roll hard.

00:19:35.080 And so this audience has to have his back not just in prayers, but will have practical actions.

00:19:39.820 We're not going to agree with everything that Speaker Johnson does.

00:19:42.820 Remember, we're the hard right of MAGA.

00:19:46.440 We're the ultra MAGA for a reason.

00:19:48.000 Richard, today, because they're skipping around over the White House, the GDP number, which I think is kind of shocking when you break down the component pieces of it and tie that back to the debt that every month is now absolutely shocked.

00:20:01.620 I'd like to put up the Kim.com.

00:20:04.120 You know, he's a very powerful influencer on social media and particularly Twitter, massive following, that including Elon Musk and the guys around Elon Musk.

00:20:13.740 He just put a very simple tweet last night, $600 billion in debt in one month, essentially game over, doesn't care who the next president is.

00:20:22.480 We would disagree with Kim.com on his pessimism, at least on how do we turn this around.

00:20:29.780 But, Richard, walk me through – I want you to walk through the GDP number today and how that ties back still to the massive government spending.

00:20:39.280 Yeah, so that GDP number is a clarion call.

00:20:42.040 And really what that is, it's a lot of fancy econ speak.

00:20:44.460 It really comes down to one thing.

00:20:46.140 The government is eating your lunch because they've got the legal authority to do so, and they are beating the private sector to a pulp to do it.

00:20:53.480 That's really what those GDP numbers come down to.

00:20:55.900 You know, GDP is not holistically a capture of what we produce.

00:21:00.220 It's a capture of where what we as a society produce goes.

00:21:04.980 GDP records who uses the stuff that the American people produce.

00:21:08.980 So when government spends money in GDP, it's not that the government is contributing to economic growth.

00:21:14.600 It's that the government is eating that portion of real goods and services produced by real hardworking Americans.

00:21:21.320 That's what that represents.

00:21:22.440 Now, to your point, there is still a future for us.

00:21:25.740 We can still turn this around.

00:21:27.440 What we need to do is stop this, stop the growth of government.

00:21:30.840 We need to enact pro-growth policies, good solid tax reform, dismantle the regulatory state.

00:21:36.740 And that's the way we can get back to that.

00:21:38.740 So that at the moment, how much debt the government's got into, how much larger government spending is on the private sector, that's a snapshot of horrors to come.

00:21:47.680 But it is not set in stone.

00:21:49.280 We still have time.

00:21:50.000 No, we still have human agency.

00:21:54.400 The – if the GDP – if real true economic growth – if we had real true economic growth, real growth, not this thing that is driven by the crowding out effect of government spending.

00:22:08.560 If we had real true growth, it would show up in tax revenues.

00:22:12.960 The lie is that – and we just saw the accounts of which they took an extra three weeks or two and a half weeks to gun deck how it came out because they didn't want to show a $2 trillion deficit.

00:22:25.000 But even the Washington Post agrees it's over a $2 trillion deficit.

00:22:28.640 And, Richard, the principal reason was a $600 billion miss in projected tax revenue.

00:22:35.360 And that came from both capital gains and personal because why?

00:22:39.300 The economy is not – the economy is not growing.

00:22:41.680 The economy is not robust.

00:22:42.860 Sir?

00:22:43.100 It's amazing, right?

00:22:45.280 They passed all these new taxes.

00:22:46.820 They raised tax rates.

00:22:48.020 And revenues dropped.

00:22:49.400 And it's because you're absolutely right.

00:22:50.980 Look, the government can print stuff on paper all at once.

00:22:53.640 You can't print reality, right?

00:22:55.040 And so the government is screaming into the wind, but the real actual economy is struggling because of the government's burdens, because of the elite's haircut, which is now much more than a haircut, off the top of what we all produce.

00:23:07.700 But, you know, I'll tell you this and for your audience as well.

00:23:10.420 You and I and the people that we all like, we've all been Sam Adams lighting the torch of the revolution, leading the way on this, calling this.

00:23:17.560 But, you know, Mike Johnson, Donald Trump, these are the John Adams, right?

00:23:20.800 These are the people that can come in, that finally represent this revolution, coming to a head in a way where we can change the laws, where we can get back to the foundation of values that this country was founded on.

00:23:31.360 And, you know, if we get back there, right, then we return to people the fruits of their labors.

00:23:36.220 We'll get back to the kind of economy we had in the 50s during World War II when the U.S. was the world's light in terms of progress and technology and prosperity.

00:23:45.120 So we can get there again.

00:23:46.380 I'm optimistic even more so with events of this week.

00:23:49.700 McLaughlin was up on the John Frederick show earlier today and was talking about a ton of numbers and particularly in battleground states.

00:23:59.800 The tectonic plate shift back to MAGA, the American people just saying, hey, this is madness.

00:24:05.080 I'm getting destroyed.

00:24:06.040 And, you know, Trump may have some bad tweets and Trump might be a little rough around the edges.

00:24:09.980 And maybe I don't like his personal style, but I got to get that guy back as president because what this current thing is not working when wars all over the place, the economies and tatters.

00:24:18.800 Just give me a minute or two because, you know, we've had you and Russ on during the huge debt ceiling fight.

00:24:25.140 And if Kevin McCarthy's team.

00:24:28.120 So I have no pity on these guys all.

00:24:30.920 If they had listened to Russ vote and they had listened to Richard Stern and they had implemented the programs of these two individuals in the heritage and these think tanks that have thought this thing through.

00:24:41.620 Kevin McCarthy be speaker of the house today.

00:24:43.520 He brought this on himself by the worst possible deal you could do.

00:24:47.400 What would be your advice to Mike and people now to start to think through how the first couple of action steps you would like to see to start to get our hands around this?

00:24:57.760 I would encourage him.

00:24:59.020 And frankly, as I know that Speaker Johnson is going to do to follow his convictions, to follow the promises he's made.

00:25:04.960 You know, as I said, to count the top of the show here, I had the honor of being the budget staffer at the Republican Study Committee when he was chair.

00:25:10.880 I helped do the budgets that RSC puts out.

00:25:13.440 These are pie in the sky, often called alternative federal budgets.

00:25:17.080 But he did the two of those while I was there.

00:25:19.800 And that's exactly what those laid out was a blueprint of how to get to a balanced budget, of how to get the real growth we know we can have.

00:25:27.160 And so I'd encourage him to stick to those convictions.

00:25:29.400 You know, I think all the stories that we think about in human history, an enormous amount of stories are in the Bible, of course, are about leaders who do the right thing, who stick to their convictions, even when everyone else turns on them.

00:25:40.460 Even when it looks like that's not going to work out, because at the end of the day, that's what people look for in leadership is conviction, is purpose, is a vision.

00:25:50.020 You know, frankly, if you listen to Democrats, if you look at their electoral successes, a lot of times they put out policy proposals that there's not even an I or a T to doubt or cross.

00:25:59.500 It's because people actually have faith in them, because what they offer is something in the form of conviction.

00:26:04.820 Now, you and I can look at it and say it might very well be satanic conviction, but it's conviction, at least.

00:26:10.320 So for so many years, Republicans have offered no conviction.

00:26:14.800 Mike Johnson, Donald Trump, people like us, this is a return to a conservative movement that offers real, reliable conviction.

00:26:21.700 So that's my advice.

00:26:22.700 Stick to that.

00:26:23.580 Stick to that faithful approach of how to reform the government and get back to the America we love.

00:26:27.520 Richard, how do people get to you on social media and how they get to you over at Heritage, the great work you're doing there?

00:26:35.940 Thanks.

00:26:36.520 You can find me at Rich A. Stern on Twitter.

00:26:38.640 And, of course, if you Google Richard Stern at Heritage, you'll find my bio page at Heritage, all the things I've written.

00:26:43.580 And, of course, you can go look around at the budget tab there and find all the good work by my other colleagues, you know, the work in the Herman Center and around the building on the econ team here.

00:26:51.420 By the way, tell Dr. Kevin Roberts thanks.

00:26:56.760 The turnaround over there has been enormous.

00:26:58.660 The policy you guys are hitting on all cylinders right now.

00:27:01.100 So thanks for the whole team over there for what you guys are doing.

00:27:03.920 Appreciate it.

00:27:04.480 Of course.

00:27:04.960 Thank you.

00:27:07.560 A lot of folks working on this, ladies and gentlemen.

00:27:11.040 Of course, you're the key to this.

00:27:13.940 Your voice was heard.

00:27:16.020 And now the hard work starts.

00:27:18.440 I mean, the really hard work.

00:27:20.120 To show you that there is light, Congressman Marshall, Roger Marshall, I think Congressman Marshall, I've had him on the show a couple of times.

00:27:28.420 Congressman Marshall from Kansas with, obviously, the great J.D. Vance, Mike Lee, Ted Cruz, have put forward a proposal against Mitch McConnell's been selling hard.

00:27:38.220 This Ukraine, you know, you've got to go all in. 0.96

00:27:40.400 $60, $80 billion in Ukraine.

00:27:42.120 Must happen now.

00:27:42.820 Now, they put up the opening salvo here, which I think you're going to see in the House also, which we've got to bifurcate.

00:27:48.300 We have to separate out a discussion of Israel and support of our ally Israel from Ukraine.

00:27:56.640 And that also means you have to separate out this disaster on the border, this $104 billion, another boondoggle.

00:28:04.080 This is something that has to be addressed and has to be addressed immediately.

00:28:07.460 Okay, we're going to get into all of this.

00:28:08.900 We've got Nancy Mace, who was one of the key people of the Hard Eight.

00:28:12.780 That was the triggering event that got this all rolling.

00:28:15.240 We're going to try to get Eli Crane later in the show.

00:28:17.900 They may be doing some votes up on the Capitol, I think, starting at 11.

00:28:21.380 We may have to reschedule Eli for this afternoon.

00:28:23.960 We're going to get some of the warriors in here and talk through exactly where we're headed in the 118th Congress.

00:28:30.100 Back in the warm in just a moment.

00:28:39.100 You should choose an air purifier like your life depends on it, because it just might.

00:29:01.640 That's why EnviroCleanse developed military-grade air purification for your home.

00:30:14.180 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:30:16.340 Bannon.

00:30:20.900 There's a lot, as you can imagine, going on Capitol Hill right now with this peon and earthquake, like a thermonuclear weapon that went off.

00:30:29.620 Um, and I want to thank this audience.

00:30:32.240 It's obviously, you're the key component of it or one of the key components of it.

00:30:36.300 Uh, but we don't have time to, first of all, you know, we don't celebrate a lot around here.

00:30:42.020 Um, because we've got more work to do.

00:30:44.580 There's always another thing to, uh, to think of, uh, to make sure you get right.

00:30:49.800 Uh, so we got to get right back to work.

00:30:52.080 I would argue for the, for the, uh, for the audience to keep Mike Johnson in your prayers, particularly over the next couple of days.

00:31:00.060 Cause there's, there is a, going to be an onslaught like you have not seen to take apart a good man.

00:31:06.000 You just watch the mainstream media is just, they're coming and they're coming hard.

00:31:09.540 Congressman Nancy Mason now joins us from South Carolina.

00:31:12.180 One of the key people, one of the hard eight in this.

00:31:14.660 Congressman Mace, can you just walk us through how this all developed over the last couple of days?

00:31:18.740 I want to talk about the agenda going forward, but just tell us how do we get in this position to have a true conservative, uh, a deeply Christian man as, uh, as speaker of the house.

00:31:28.320 Uh,

00:31:30.060 Can you hear me?

00:31:33.160 My connection.

00:31:34.340 Can you hear me?

00:31:35.080 Okay, Steve?

00:31:36.040 Yeah.

00:31:36.960 Yeah.

00:31:37.280 We hear you perfectly.

00:31:38.260 You're coming in.

00:31:38.980 You look great.

00:31:39.660 You sound great.

00:31:40.460 Just let it rip. 0.67

00:31:44.820 Well, this.

00:31:46.080 Okay, good.

00:31:46.780 Well, this almost, I just want to be clear.

00:31:48.740 And I think Matt Gates clarified this yesterday.

00:31:50.440 This almost didn't happen because the disgraced former speaker, Kevin McCarthy, every time someone ascended, he would knife them in the back and they, and they couldn't be in the back.

00:32:00.060 He's going to become speaker.

00:32:01.060 But thank God we have now Mike Johnson, who is a strong conservative, a man of faith, and someone who's going to work hard.

00:32:08.440 And guess what?

00:32:09.540 He's not a part of the establishment.

00:32:12.040 He's not a part of one of K Street's favorites, right?

00:32:15.880 And he's going to come under fire over the next few days and appreciate your wishes and well wishes and prayers for him because he's going to need it.

00:32:23.700 We're changing the direction and the trajectory of Washington.

00:32:27.940 And it's not easy.

00:32:29.100 This point, up until this point, has been very difficult the last three weeks.

00:32:32.520 But the eight of us and others held the line and we got us to where we are today.

00:32:37.980 And this is a new direction, a new day for America.

00:32:40.120 I want to talk about that new direction, but I need this audience to understand because they don't quite understand the viciousness of how intense these fights are behind the scenes.

00:32:51.160 When you say McCarthy and his followers were trying to knife people in the back, just walk us through for a second because I want to have the audience appreciate how hard this is.

00:32:59.680 The political profiles and courage of you and others have stepped up here.

00:33:03.720 But just walk us through how it was all unmasked the other night.

00:33:08.080 Well, it's all been orchestrated.

00:33:10.140 This thing didn't need to last three weeks.

00:33:12.300 So the first thing that McCarthy and his allies did was prolong it and delay it and recess us and adjourn us every time they possibly could to drag this thing out and make it as painful as possible for the eight of us who held the line and kicked McCarthy out of the speakership.

00:33:31.140 That's number one.

00:33:32.000 Number two, there was a concerted and orchestrated effort at the hand of McCarthy that every time someone ascended, they got knifed in the back, including America's favorite Republican congressman in Jim Jordan.

00:33:45.660 I mean, our conference couldn't even elect the best and favorite congressman in this country, Jim Jordan, because of what McCarthy and his allies were doing behind the scenes and orchestrating his failure.

00:33:58.780 And he did it not once, not twice, but three times.

00:34:02.440 And finally, we were able to unmask what he was doing earlier this week.

00:34:07.920 And at one point, Kevin McCarthy had multiple hours speaking at the conference because I might want to get to speak.

00:34:19.220 Should we go ahead and reboot?

00:34:25.320 Let's go ahead and reboot Congressman Mace.

00:34:27.160 It's too important to miss what she just had to say.

00:34:29.120 We're going to reboot Congressman Mace.

00:34:30.900 I have a little technical problem.

00:34:32.100 Quite important what she is saying.

00:34:34.740 And here's the reason it's important.

00:34:37.080 It's not about personal animosity.

00:34:38.600 This is about the way the system works and what you have just broken.

00:34:43.080 The system is totally it's a cartel.

00:34:45.720 Russ Vogt laid that out.

00:34:46.860 It is completely and totally captured by by the lobbyists, the Wall Street oligarchs, the corporatists, the political operatives, the consultants, Silicon Valley, massive power of the big law firms.

00:35:02.400 This is all massive, incredible power.

00:35:05.200 That's what you broke.

00:35:06.080 And Mike Johnson comes unencumbered with any of that.

00:35:09.460 Brennan Buck wrote a big piece in political.

00:35:11.720 These people are just give me a heads up when Congressman Mace has rebooted.

00:35:15.800 Brennan Buck wrote a big piece.

00:35:17.220 Oh, he's you know, he doesn't know anything.

00:35:18.960 It's the learning curve is going to be brutal that even Paul Ryan, who had been the centerpiece of the young guns, didn't know this.

00:35:24.900 And it took him so long to get up to speed.

00:35:26.820 Mike Johnson will do fine.

00:35:27.920 He's a man of faith.

00:35:28.880 He's a brilliant constitutional lawyer.

00:35:31.520 He's very, very smart.

00:35:33.160 He's very, very grounded.

00:35:34.260 He's got a great team that's coming around him.

00:35:37.220 You know, the Lisa Phonics, the Nancy Maces, the Matt Gaetz.

00:35:40.580 And these are people I realize have different total ideological sometimes orientations than maybe us on the show.

00:35:48.360 But you see that Mike Johnson's a leader and a listener.

00:35:51.480 And that's what's coming around him.

00:35:52.960 What broke the other night was the grip of what we call K Street, the grip of the lobbyists.

00:35:58.640 You broke it.

00:35:59.200 The people felt that the voters and the people out there in the districts had their back, that they can make these moves.

00:36:07.440 Traditionally, if you make these moves, you're ostracized immediately.

00:36:10.700 Is Congressman Mace back up?

00:36:13.460 Can we try again?

00:36:14.640 Congressman Mace, can you hear me?

00:36:16.600 Yes, I sure can.

00:36:17.580 Trying this one more time.

00:36:20.500 Yeah.

00:36:20.960 Listen, I just want to go back to that night of what grip was broken when you guys stood up and it was all unmasked.

00:36:27.320 The central thing, it just wasn't McCarthy as an individual.

00:36:30.420 It's the way the system runs.

00:36:32.040 What did you guys break?

00:36:33.620 It was the D.C. establishment.

00:36:35.760 That is what we broke.

00:36:37.960 And this was about the power, the few people that have power in this country, K Street and downtown, and those in leadership, the former speaker.

00:36:49.100 This is about people versus power.

00:36:50.880 And the people won over.

00:36:52.000 And the one thing I want to say, Steve, is that the war room posse was a huge part of that because people spoke up.

00:36:58.140 They called their members of Congress and told them that the vote to vacate the former speaker was the right vote, and we needed to get a conservative, someone who would be honest, be trustworthy, and tell the truth to the American people.

00:37:09.800 And that's what we were able to deliver.

00:37:11.840 But it was not easy because the former speaker went kicking and screaming this week, had meltdowns in our conferences, a lot of threats were made.

00:37:21.380 I've had a lot of threats on my life.

00:37:23.480 In the last week or so, I've received at least four death threats over my vote and over my convictions to change the direction of Washington and change the direction of this country.

00:37:32.840 And we would not have been able to do it without the support of the people, number one.

00:37:38.300 I noticed that you didn't go run to the microphones and whine about that immediately either, which I think is very powerful.

00:37:43.480 People would say, you know, the mainstream media would think, because Mike Johnson is such a radical right social conservative that Nancy Mace, how could Nancy Mace ever be an ally of his?

00:37:52.860 But walk through about how you've come to this point to support the direction that we're headed.

00:37:59.540 Maybe not all the details of policy, but directionally where we're headed.

00:38:03.120 Well, absolutely.

00:38:03.980 And I'm not going to agree with everyone on everything, Steve.

00:38:06.160 We have plenty of policy debate between you and I and your audience.

00:38:10.180 But Mike is a good man, and he's a man of faith, and he's honest, and he's trustworthy.

00:38:16.980 And the very least that we need for the American people is to restore trust in the institution of Congress, restore trust amongst the people and the folks that we represent.

00:38:26.760 And I believe he is the guy to do that.

00:38:28.960 And policy aside, he's just a good Christian man who believes in his faith in God and believes that that is how he can navigate his role in history right now.

00:38:42.380 And we need someone who's going to have convictions, who's going to be a man of principle, and a man of his word.

00:38:47.900 And quite frankly, he's not with me on every issue.

00:38:50.920 And he and I sat down earlier this week and talked about some of the issues that I'm very passionate about and trying to find some common ground.

00:38:58.580 And he's a very humble, humble man.

00:39:01.700 And one of the issues, for example, that I'm very passionate about is how we get women voters, suburban women, suburban moms, back into the Republican Party, back to vote for Republicans and keep our country intact next year at the presidential level and then also at Congress and the Senate.

00:39:18.140 And, you know, he came up to me this week and said, I talked to my wife and there are all these things that we agree on, whether it's safety in schools, hardening our schools, whether it's making sure that moms and dads have the resources that they need, but understanding that how we talk to people really matters.

00:39:35.680 And our conservative policies are the best policies for our nation's children and families, but it's also how we talk to people and show people that we care.

00:39:43.280 And he gets that. And the best thing about Mike that I can say is he's just an honest guy and you just you know where he stands.

00:39:50.400 He's going to work very hard. And I mean, he's going to put us to work like like we've never worked before is the feeling that I have right now, which is what our country needs.

00:39:58.800 By the way, I remember the gasp on the House floor when you voted no against McCarthy and you told us on the show beforehand it was a matter of trust.

00:40:07.880 He had just lied to you too many times. Walk me through. We've got a couple of minutes here.

00:40:12.280 What where's your focus going to be? We got to see her coming up. 1.00

00:40:15.700 You know, the Senate's now trying to bifurcate Israel and Ukraine funding.

00:40:20.000 We've got the beginning of the Third World War. You got an invasion on the southern border.

00:40:23.160 Where's Nancy Mace's priorities? Where are you going to be spending your time and your focus? 1.00

00:40:28.500 Well, we shouldn't do anything in the next few weeks funding or spending wise without funding and resources for the southern border, because unless we shut that down, nothing else should happen.

00:40:37.920 We should not be sending aid overseas without us securing our own border, because what happened overseas in Israel could happen here at home if we're not careful.

00:40:47.080 And I feel that because our national security at home has not been taken seriously by Joe Biden, we have opened ourselves up to terrorists coming across the southern border.

00:40:57.860 So, number one, that needs to be figured out before we do anything else.

00:41:01.640 I would like to see Ukraine and Israel supplemental support be separated.

00:41:07.060 They should not be put together in the same bucket. We'll see if we'll be able to do that.

00:41:11.780 And then, of course, any short-term spending measure, what is that going to look like if we can't get the 12 appropriations bills done in time because the speaker's fight was drawn out by the former disgraced speaker?

00:41:24.600 So those are the things that we have to deliver on and address in the interim in the next two or three weeks.

00:41:31.440 And then it is my hope that Mike Johnson will get a head start on next year's spending.

00:41:37.000 We've lost a lot of time because Kevin McCarthy screwed America on the budget this year and the 12 appropriations bill.

00:41:44.380 So it's my hope that the appropriators will get a head start on it so that we don't run into this next year,

00:41:50.300 that we're well ahead of time, that Chuck Schumer has the budget, has the spending bills,

00:41:54.160 well in advance of any potential looming CR, any type of emergency where we're going to have to have an omnibus or a CR, those kinds of things.

00:42:02.380 We have to avoid an omnibus before the end of the year, period.

00:42:08.800 So we're breaking some news here. That's a pretty hard line.

00:42:11.260 I want to go back. You're a Citadel grad.

00:42:12.920 I think the first woman from Citadel to graduate Citadel.

00:42:17.140 You have been known as a hawk.

00:42:20.860 Are you telling us that you feel that even before the Israel supplement,

00:42:25.280 even if you bifurcate Ukraine and Israel, you want to see action on the southern border

00:42:31.840 and talk about a package of real action on the southern border before even the funding of the Israel supplemental?

00:42:38.400 We have to address the southern border, period.

00:42:41.420 And the way to do that is in these next supplemental spending bills,

00:42:45.300 is use that as leverage to be able to move forward.

00:42:48.140 And it's very important that we do that.

00:42:51.320 Israel is going to have the support that it needs.

00:42:53.320 I sit on the House Armed Services Committee.

00:42:54.980 I just got briefed in a classified setting this week on our support of Israel.

00:43:00.820 Also, they get $4 billion from our budget every year and our annual fiscal year just reset October 1.

00:43:06.440 So we have time to figure this out and be supportive of our allies.

00:43:10.580 But if we don't get this mess at the southern border, we are going to open ourselves up to all sorts of continued national security issues,

00:43:19.060 whether you're talking about fentanyl or terrorists that are crossing the border.

00:43:22.600 And as you're seeing in the footage right now, we spend more money on foreign aid than we do on roads and bridges in this country.

00:43:29.180 This has to be fixed.

00:43:31.640 We can support our ally in Israel, but we also need to make sure that our borders are just as secure.

00:43:37.360 All right, Congressman Mace, where do they follow you on social media?

00:43:41.580 Where do people go?

00:43:43.020 They can follow me at at Rep Nancy Mace.

00:43:48.100 Wow.

00:43:48.700 Thank you very much.

00:43:49.480 Broke some news here.

00:43:50.380 Congressman Mace, thank you.

00:43:51.420 Look forward to having you back.

00:43:52.920 Yes, sir.

00:43:53.340 Thank you.

00:43:56.100 It takes courage to step up.

00:43:59.660 It takes courage to step up.

00:44:01.520 They try to destroy all those people.

00:44:03.500 Remember, all of them.

00:44:04.480 The hard eight, they try to destroy each and every one.

00:44:08.000 Short commercial break.

00:44:09.140 Back in a moment.

00:44:13.080 For war room veterans, you know, we have been all over the supply chain issue with China and medications and the active pharmaceutical ingredients.

00:44:24.620 China has a stranglehold on us where there's a way to break that. 0.82

00:45:44.200 Action, action, action.

00:45:47.400 Here's the key, Brendan.

00:45:49.000 And we talked about this last time.

00:45:50.860 They have successfully in their own conference imposed minority will on the conference.

00:45:56.160 They have a vanguardist vision of how to do this.

00:45:59.480 They tried to impose a minority president on the United States.

00:46:02.600 They then had a rumped faction of eight votes that broke the conference.

00:46:06.620 And when Steve Scalise won the internal vote, they said, no, we don't accept it.

00:46:09.880 They have gotten their way as a minoritarian vanguardist movement at many steps.

00:46:15.460 They think they could do it for the whole government.

00:46:17.420 Absolutely.

00:46:20.420 But they can't on the on the policy matters.

00:46:23.280 The thing is, all of the things that you talked about in your in your monologue about who he is, Republicans don't bat an eye about that stuff.

00:46:30.840 All the things you listen to are pretty mainstream for the conference right now.

00:46:34.960 The reality is you just can't make those things policy.

00:46:37.720 Now, they can stop things.

00:46:38.840 And I think we need to be very concerned about the ability of the House to process funding for Ukraine.

00:46:43.820 They can not do things.

00:46:45.920 Yeah.

00:46:46.040 But actually proactively bringing bills to the floor on abortion.

00:46:49.460 They already did that. 0.67

00:46:50.460 It was the first thing the House did.

00:46:52.220 This Congress was a series of bills on abortion.

00:46:54.620 So, like, that's not changing, but it's not going anywhere.

00:46:57.240 Now, what would happen potentially if Mike Johnson is speaker of the House when we need to certify the next presidential election?

00:47:04.500 Keep a close eye on that.

00:47:05.520 And in terms of, like, imposing their will on Medicare and Social Security, I don't think you need to lose much sleep about it, Chris.

00:47:13.560 OK, this is important.

00:47:16.000 So let's get the number two principles out right here.

00:47:18.160 And you just saw it with Nancy Mace, which I think surprised a lot of people.

00:47:23.020 But this issue of the southern border, I want to go back to Chris Hayes.

00:47:26.520 I'm going to go back to Brennan Buck. 1.00

00:47:27.660 When I call Fox TV for stupid people, half of MSNBC is also TV for stupid people. 1.00

00:47:36.400 I'm just not picking on Fox or Murdoch News. 1.00

00:47:39.860 The reason is when you want to see TV for stupid people, it is you have the party apparatchiks and just those talking points, the same mindless talking points. 0.98

00:47:50.640 And they got to they think they got to wash, rinse, repeat because it's a theory of modern communications to low information folks that they just have to repeat it over and over. 0.99

00:47:59.740 So it's not only not interesting, it's kind of counterproductive, particularly if it's just coming from a central party apparatus.

00:48:06.920 OK, the reason that we monitor CNN and BBC and MSNBC, particularly others like that, when they have members of the failed establishment.

00:48:19.120 And in this case, people like Brendan Buck and like Tim Miller and like Nicole Wallace and Charlie Sykes and others, MSNBC, with some of the smart people over there, you get a quite accurate breakdown and understanding of exactly what's going on.

00:48:36.940 Yes, we are a minorist, vanguardist movement.

00:48:41.900 It's not that we don't have support of the actual voters and the populace, but the way that the city has run.

00:48:50.760 And this is please, I don't want to ever do drain the swamp again.

00:48:53.400 It's just too cutesy a term because these people are vicious.

00:48:56.980 If you're interested in limited government.

00:49:00.540 If you're interested in fiscal responsibility.

00:49:04.040 If you're interested really in liberty and in freedom.

00:49:07.000 And these just not as hollow terms that are thrown out when people run for office, but the reality of that and what that means for America and for her citizens.

00:49:16.680 Then this is the fight.

00:49:20.140 You change the direction of history and we have some allies that you would never think of in a million years.

00:49:27.840 You would never think of Nancy Mace.

00:49:29.740 Well, think about even Naomi Wolf on the vaccine. 0.91

00:49:32.480 She's going to be up in, I think, the five o'clock hour today.

00:49:37.480 These people, you see that their focus and their interest is often aligned to in the rank order of what's important and particularly now what is important to save the country.

00:49:49.000 The buried lead, it was not just the minority, the minority, the minority, the vanguardist.

00:49:56.000 Thinking of what we call command by negation.

00:49:58.940 That's what Brandon Buck said, the quiet part out loud later.

00:50:03.780 They can't impose their vision and particularly what they did with Mike Johnson at the beginning of that was to talk about all his social conservatism, the social because he was in the trenches for many years as a constitutional lawyer from one of those great.

00:50:16.780 I think for the Association Defending Democracy, one of the one of these great groups that that comes in and fights for religious liberty and social conservatives.

00:50:26.780 And Mike, for many years, did that.

00:50:28.240 And they went through all the stuff he fought for.

00:50:30.540 And, of course, up in the Upper East Side and Upper West Side of New York is like, oh, my God, my heads are blown up.

00:50:34.940 But Buck said, we know they can't impose that on the nation.

00:50:43.400 But wait for it.

00:50:45.500 They can stop things.

00:50:48.620 And he says they can not do things.

00:50:53.700 One thousand percent.

00:50:55.780 That's the next phase of the battle.

00:50:57.700 The next phase of the battle is Ukraine funding, the funding of these wars.

00:51:05.360 I mean, Nancy Nancy Mace just dropped a bombshell in the reality check that even in defense of Israel as an ally, that right now the priority is on the southern border.

00:51:14.680 And if you don't get the southern border right immediately, you don't take dramatic actions immediately, our allies in Taiwan and Israel will cease to exist.

00:51:27.620 You must have a strong and robust America.

00:51:29.800 And she walked through the actual because she's on armed services, the actual mechanisms that are already in place to make sure that Israel is defended as we think through what that funding should be.

00:51:41.300 And right now, I think the central question is, is Biden, is the Biden regime have too big a grasp?

00:51:49.460 You know, I'm all for our approach has to be conditional.

00:51:53.140 We have to have an overall strategy of what we're doing and make sure that, hey, you just can't go and start nuking Gaza. 0.84

00:51:58.480 Right.

00:51:59.680 Not that that would happen.

00:52:01.440 Biden and his regime has taken it.

00:52:03.580 They actually have a Marine over there.

00:52:05.840 I believe this entire delay.

00:52:07.820 And they call for humanitarian aid.

00:52:09.540 That that is the Biden regime is trying to backdoor ceasefire and then go right to a two state solution, which if you saw what the Muslim Brotherhood and that's what it is, the Muslim Brotherhood did to the Israelis. 0.71

00:52:23.380 How can you how can you ceasefire that?

00:52:25.120 How can you two nation that at this stage? 0.83

00:52:27.000 Can't do it.

00:52:28.640 Can't do it.

00:52:30.260 Not possible.

00:52:31.220 We wouldn't do it.

00:52:33.960 Nancy Mace's point.

00:52:35.200 I'll try to get gaffling, maybe even for the afternoon show, the infiltration in our country, not just the mass invasion that's taken place with at least eight million people.

00:52:45.380 I mean, Monica Crowley said she thinks it's 40 or 50 million.

00:52:49.080 Brian Kennedy last night on immigration is warfare.

00:52:51.940 The great piece of American mind.

00:52:53.320 I want to make sure everybody reads that.

00:52:55.240 Said the exact same thing.
