Bannon's War Room - Episode 3441： Tectonic Plate Shift In The MAGA Movement

00:00:00.000 article yesterday where it said this is one of the finest run campaigns that anybody has

00:00:05.020 ever seen. That's pretty good, right? That's pretty good. Really a statement. And we have

00:00:12.640 no choice. Yeah, OK. You know, it's it's it is OK. I will say that it is a decision that

00:00:23.840 we revisit constantly in terms of the balance between allowing somebody to knowingly lie on

00:00:32.640 your air about things they've lied about before and you can predict they are going to lie about.

00:00:37.000 And so therefore it is just it's irresponsible to allow them to do that. It's a balance between

00:00:43.040 knowing that that's irresponsible to broadcast and also knowing that as the de facto soon to be de

00:00:51.780 facto nominee of the Republican Party. This is not only the man who is likely to be the Republican

00:00:57.440 candidate for president, but this is the way he's running. Well, here's how we balance it.

00:01:01.920 Why don't we fact check the hell out of him? Yes. And we do that after the fact. And that

00:01:05.780 is the best remedy that we've got. It does not fix the fact that we broadcast it. But it's stunning

00:01:10.640 that he's saying these things and people are hearing it. Let's just go through it. Right.

00:01:14.040 That we have the most devastating economy. Are you kidding me? We have had the best economic recovery

00:01:18.960 of any country in the developed world. He's telling an audience right there. Oh,

00:01:23.100 my goodness. The paltry oil production. We're producing more oil today than we ever have

00:01:28.700 in the history of our country. Think about the American Rescue Plan, the infrastructure plan.

00:01:33.220 We have created more jobs, 3.2 million more jobs than we had pre pandemic. The problem that

00:01:40.220 we do have is inflation. And so what Donald Trump does is prey upon the fact that people don't

00:01:46.000 necessarily feel good and life's expensive. But when it comes to facts, here's something

00:01:50.340 that's absolutely nonsensical and infuriating. When people's wages go up, they credit themselves.

00:01:55.740 They say, I'm good at my job. I just got a raise. But when everything costs more, they blame

00:02:00.280 the government and wages are up, which is a huge positive. And one of the reason wage one of those

00:02:05.900 reasons wages are up is all the union wins in the last two years. And remember, President Biden

00:02:11.260 has stood with those unions. But Republican voters don't vote that way. They don't vote

00:02:16.760 based on economics or based on the benefits they're getting economically from the president.

00:02:21.340 They're increasingly from the Tea Party on, they're voting on race. They're voting on this idea of an

00:02:26.540 invasion of brown people over the border. The idea that they can't get whatever job they want. A 0.96

00:02:31.760 black person got it. Therefore, drive all the blacks out of the colleges, get rid of DEI. That is what 1.00

00:02:36.880 they're voting on. They're just voting specifically on racial animus at this stage. It isn't about

00:02:42.220 economics.

00:02:42.700 No, which is why Trump killed the immigration bill.

00:02:45.380 Correct.

00:02:45.980 That's why. And because otherwise he can't run against the other and brown people and people 0.99

00:02:52.680 who don't look like him, like his supporters, his base of supporters coming across the border 0.96

00:02:58.860 and scaring people and killing people or whatever he's threatening out there. I mean, if you look at

00:03:03.420 some of these exit polls, I mean, I live in Virginia. Immigration was the number one issue.

00:03:08.460 I mean, again, these could change in Virginia.

00:03:11.120 Well, Virginia does have a border with West Virginia.

00:03:14.240 Very contested area.

00:03:15.360 But you're thinking, like, what? I mean, when I was in New Hampshire, people were talking about

00:03:19.700 the northern border as a threat because Trump has indoctrinated people with this fear of people

00:03:26.120 who do not look like them being a threat to them.

00:03:28.980 But, you know, I mean, and every, you know, every election cycle, when there's, particularly

00:03:33.420 when there's a Democratic incumbent, we get reminded about the borders and the borders

00:03:37.400 become a thing again. And then if there's a Republican in office, we don't think about

00:03:40.880 them anymore. It's the deficit and the border. Like you, you make these things an issue.

00:03:46.320 You make them into boogeymen. You make them into something that grabs you from under the

00:03:49.460 bed at night as soon as you wake up. As long as there's a Democratic incumbent to blame

00:03:53.140 on it, you make sure that nothing's ever done to fix either. And then you hope that people

00:03:57.400 stop talking about them once you've got a Republican.

00:03:59.300 So look at these polls that came out over the weekend, right? There were four of them.

00:04:03.340 The New York Times-Siena College poll got the most press, had Trump up four. But it was

00:04:07.460 matched by a CBS News-YouGov poll that also had Trump up four. Fox News, Trump up two.

00:04:13.120 Wall Street Journal, Trump up two. And as I mentioned when we started, the polls right

00:04:17.680 now look so much different than they did in 2020. Because keep in mind, Trump led in not

00:04:22.520 a single, there were zero, count them, zero general election polls nationally that Trump

00:04:27.920 led in during the 2020 campaign. Here we have four right here. And I want to bring this to

00:04:32.940 your attention because I think this is so interesting. Okay. Has Trump committed serious federal crimes?

00:04:38.920 This is among likely voters. Overall, the majority say yes. Yes, he has. Yet, Trump was leading

00:04:46.780 in that poll by four points as you see that New York Times-Siena College poll up there. Why is

00:04:52.080 that? Because take a look at 2024 Trump supporters. Even among them, 18% say he committed serious

00:04:58.300 federal crimes, and yet they're still voting for him. If you're Joe Biden, I just have to ask the

00:05:03.120 question, what the heck are you supposed to do with polling like this? One of the sort of defining

00:05:07.760 features of American politics since 2016, particularly, and it's reflected all throughout Western

00:05:13.780 democracies in OECD countries, is the intensification of educational polarization.

00:05:19.640 You see it in Austria. When you look, what's the base of the right-wing party in Austria? It's folks

00:05:24.560 with what we would call, without a college degree, a huge bifurcation. When you see the rise of what

00:05:30.000 we would call the populist right, particularly throughout Europe, when we see it in South America,

00:05:33.800 that base is the same base. And that educational polarization is getting worse and more intense

00:05:40.560 in this country. We see it in every map that Steve points to, reflected fractally within the

00:05:45.680 Republican coalition. You can pinpoint where Haley voters are going to be, because you look at the

00:05:50.500 quotient of folks with degrees and advanced degrees, and then you run that against density,

00:05:56.000 right? Is it rural or urban? And you know those two things. You know a lot about the electorate.

00:06:00.080 So what we have seen is basically a long-term trend in which education polarization is

00:06:04.980 coming to dominate everything else. And one of the big questions the Biden folks have to figure out

00:06:12.300 is how to eat back away at that trend. Because that is the tide that is pulling them. It's the

00:06:18.840 tide that is pulling a lot of liberal democracies away from some of those core principles, and has

00:06:24.460 been the sort of wind at the back of right-wing authoritarian and populist movements.

00:06:29.040 And so how does Biden appeal to poorly educated voters?

00:06:31.860 Yeah, or just voters without college degrees, which might be well-educated in other ways.

00:06:37.340 You know, I think people that feel very differently about how well the bargain of America is working

00:06:41.880 for them, or how well the bargain of the global economy is working for them in the 21st century,

00:06:45.780 because we've seen it in other countries. And that's, I mean, again, that stuff matters a lot

00:06:50.800 at the margins, right? Like five points, six points, seven points. That's the whole ballgame.

00:06:55.280 But I would just say that I think the person who knows and would agree with you is Trump or maybe

00:06:59.540 his brain banning. I mean, that's why Biden was a threat. That's why he got impeached the first

00:07:03.620 time. Because Biden was the only one that threatened that.

00:07:07.260 And he figured out a special, I mean, he really did figure that out. And not only did he figure

00:07:10.940 that out, he has clearly governed with that in mind. If you look at where the investments have

00:07:15.500 gone from the bipartisan infrastructure bill, from the CHIPS Act, and from the IRA, they have

00:07:20.020 disproportionately gone to geographic areas that favor his opponent over him, that favor Republican

00:07:25.660 economics. That means it's nothing else. Well, that's the question, right? Like there's a bet

00:07:28.760 being made there. And the question is, can you make good on that bet from a policy and messaging

00:07:33.640 standpoint against the pull of all these demographic trends that Steve is going to highlight in map

00:07:38.760 after map after map tonight, where we will know before it even comes up what the map's going to

00:07:43.780 look like based on that date. We're in the middle of a great realignment right now in the United States

00:07:48.180 with educated voters becoming Democrats, wealthier voters becoming Democrats, the middle class

00:07:53.160 becoming Republican. And one of the things we're seeing here, I think, is Donald Trump has in many

00:07:58.940 ways, he's a key part of it. I don't know that he's the only part of it, but he's a key part

00:08:02.760 of changing the makeup of the Republican Party, which is why Nikki Haley, who last won an election in her

00:08:09.280 home state in 2014, I think when she ran for governor the second time, lost South Carolina, but was able to 0.88

00:08:15.840 win Vermont because he has remade the Republican Party and Republican voters in his image. And in fact,

00:08:22.760 he has said publicly that if you're a Mitt Romney Republican or a Nikki Haley Republican, he doesn't

00:08:28.600 want you in the party. Now, that's a good way to make the party in your own image. I don't know it's

00:08:33.240 a good way to win an election in November, but it's a good way to win a primary and remake the party.

00:08:40.860 Start your tape right now because I'm about to tell you the truth. And F you if you can't handle the

00:08:46.860 truth. This version of Biden intellectually, analytically is the best Biden ever. Not a close

00:08:58.260 second. And I've known him for years. The Brzezinski's have known him for 50 years. If it weren't the

00:09:03.740 truth, I wouldn't say it. And you read the New Yorker interview. I don't think it's gonna make a huge

00:09:10.580 difference in Oshkosh. But if you are the upper peninsula of Michigan. But if you really, if you

00:09:16.360 want to know the truth, if you really give a damn, if anybody out there gives a damn about the truth,

00:09:20.980 read that interview. And you'll sit and read through that and go, Oh, my God. There's just

00:09:28.940 no comparison between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. Historians will look back and they will say,

00:09:35.860 why was this race close in February and early March, because it makes no sense. And you've been

00:09:45.380 around Biden enough to know he's not gonna, he's not gonna run a four to two at the combines. No,

00:09:53.020 but he might damn well save Western democracy from Russia.

00:09:57.420 This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on

00:10:08.660 these people. I got a free shot. All these networks lying about the people, the people have had a

00:10:15.520 belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world

00:10:19.320 to stop that, but you're not gonna stop it. It's going to happen. And where do people like that go

00:10:23.340 to share the big line? MAGA media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a

00:10:31.040 conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task? And what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country,

00:10:39.180 this country will be saved. War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.

00:10:45.560 It's Wednesday, 6 March in the year of our Lord, 2024. There you see the meltdown. Actually,

00:10:56.040 some pretty good analysis we'll get to in a second, but the complete total meltdown of the radical left

00:11:02.380 media. As they understand right now, the President Trump is ascended. The MAGA movement is ascended.

00:11:08.800 The deplorables are essentially taking over the country, and they don't like it. We're going to get

00:11:14.740 into a lot. We're going to break down a lot of what happened last night, what it means,

00:11:17.940 and particularly we're going to spend a lot of time focusing, hopefully if we can pull this off,

00:11:22.600 on Texas. As you know, we've been very focused on Texas there. It is the MAGA movement and President

00:11:27.240 Trump against the Bush-Rove Junta. And last night the Junta took it on the chops. Just some amazing 0.93

00:11:35.980 results. We'll get into that in a minute. We're going to have a ton of people on here if we can juggle it.

00:11:39.780 But I want to start with the brilliant and the best reporter that covers the MAGA movement and

00:11:45.860 President Trump and all politics related to that, the national political editor of Breitbart, Matt

00:11:51.000 Boyle. Matt, first, before we talk about last night, just give me your assessment. I know

00:11:54.660 you focused on CNN. Over here, we curated MSNBC more. Just give me your assessment of the response

00:12:02.120 last night as you were watching it live of our media overlords, sir, to really President Trump and

00:12:08.360 MAGA's crushing victory last night. Well, I think the smart people on their side, the establishment

00:12:16.900 media side, which are all in the tank, of course, for Joe Biden and the swamp in Washington, they want

00:12:22.880 to see Donald Trump not win in November. They figured it out. So they are looking at the results. You saw

00:12:32.060 Jake Tapper talking about in that incredible cold open there that you guys had of all of these

00:12:40.040 clips combined, that you saw Jake Tapper talking about the realignment of the Republican Party. You

00:12:46.800 saw Harry Enten from CNN talking about how they're in deep trouble. You saw the wine club there on

00:12:56.120 MSNBC trying to just as a major issue, right? Like, I think there was another clip I saw last night

00:13:06.080 circulating of Jen Psaki, who was before she became an MSNBC anchor and contributor and panelist or

00:13:12.840 whatever title is over there. She was obviously Joe Biden's White House press secretary. She's saying

00:13:19.660 she lives in Virginia and she's like shocked that immigration is the number one issue. And by the

00:13:25.900 way, immigration is not just the number one. I mean, it's not just the number one issue. It's by

00:13:29.680 far the number one issue. In fact, the Wall Street Journal polling that you saw them talking about

00:13:34.400 there in one of those clips shows that immigration since December has jumped like eight points to the

00:13:41.000 number one issue, surpassing even the economy as to what people are focused on this year. But the number

00:13:47.800 one and number two issues that voters consistently across every poll are immigration on the border and

00:13:53.860 the economy, right? Like, and by the way, Trump has identified that. And that's why you're seeing

00:13:58.820 this working class, you know, middle class, really realignment behind Trump and the new Republican Party

00:14:07.360 and a ditching of the old guard. And then if you go deeper a little bit into the results beyond the top

00:14:13.800 line of the presidential, obviously, it was a terrible night for Nikki Haley, an excellent night 0.51

00:14:18.520 for Donald Trump. But broader than that, it was a terrible night for the old guard establishment

00:14:24.140 of the Republican Party. In Texas, Tony Gonzalez was forced into a runoff in a congressional race.

00:14:34.240 We'll see what happens there in May as that race develops. But I mean, that was an embarrassing 0.96

00:14:39.060 result. The Speaker of the House of Texas, Dade Phelan, forced into a runoff, right? This is

00:14:44.260 the guy who led the impeachment against Ken Paxton. And even in our...

00:14:48.040 Hey, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, Matt, hang on for one second. We'll get into all these details. We're

00:14:52.280 going to take a short commercial break. We're going to return. We've got Matt Boyle, National

00:14:56.200 Political Editor at Breitbart, to explain it all to us.

00:14:59.840 As we head toward a presidential election in November, one thing you can be sure of, 2024

00:15:11.260 this year? You're already seeing the impacts of inflation at the pump, the grocery store.

00:16:56.740 and his team today. Matt Bull's going to stick with us, break this all down, but we're honored.

00:17:01.180 Honored. And think outside of President Trump. The guy that's right behind President Trump that did

00:17:09.160 the most work, and this is in the great state of Texas, Attorney General Ken Paxson. Attorney General

00:17:13.280 Paxson, this all came from you standing up for MAGA, you standing up for Trump policies, you defending

00:17:18.780 the great state of Texas by, as you said, you were, I think, our first guest on the afternoon show

00:17:25.520 on the 20th of January, 2021, when we asked you, and you said, hey, look, we're the Biden

00:17:30.440 administration, here's the Constitution, and doesn't, you know, doesn't mess with Texas.

00:17:38.860 We'll work together. Where they go outside, I'll try to give them guidance, and if they

00:17:42.540 don't take the guidance, then we're going to go to court. You have fought against big tech,

00:17:46.300 big pharma, and the outcome of that was they tried to impeach you. The Bush rove junta that's

00:17:52.240 still, just like the national establishment thinks they control the RNC and not President Trump

00:17:56.920 or the Republican Party. In Texas, it's even worse, because that's the railhead of all the power

00:18:00.720 of the Bush junta with Karl Rove. Last night, an incredible crushing defeat of the Bush forces.

00:18:08.680 Walk us through it, and how you guys did it with no money and just putting it together, and it was a

00:18:14.600 total grassroots move. It's just amazing, and the victory was so sweeping from the appellate judges

00:18:20.080 all the way down to people in the legislature, school boards, all of it. Tell us what happened

00:18:24.800 and how you did it. Well, first of all, people like you got up and talked about it. That helped

00:18:28.960 amazingly, immensely. I don't think anything like this has happened in Texas in at least decades,

00:18:35.440 maybe one time ever after they call it the Sharpstown Massacre when there was a great scandal

00:18:40.200 in the Texas house. We ended up, I think, winning 12 races. We had 12 runoffs, 10 to 12 runoffs.

00:18:46.260 We won all of our court races. There were five that I was involved in. Four were statewide.

00:18:51.040 One was a district court, and it was really just grassroots, because we were outspent. I mean,

00:18:56.740 I was telling you about Mitch Little, where you came to his event, which was, you saw how many

00:19:00.720 people were there. They spent almost $2 million to beat him, because he was my lawyer in the

00:19:06.160 impeachment, and they realized this guy is smart, and the last thing they want is somebody really

00:19:10.520 smart in the house that can challenge their alliance with the Democrats and the moderate Republicans.

00:19:16.800 So it was just a little, I started right after the impeachment acquittal, and I started traveling

00:19:22.920 to the state to recruit House members, Court of Appeal members that would run against the Court

00:19:27.680 of Appeals, and fortunately, you know, the people of Texas, they are smart, and they are good,

00:19:33.140 and they voted, and they sent a message to the Texas politicians.

00:19:38.080 Here's what's so important about this. President Trump's doing this at a national level,

00:19:45.140 but the state party levels, and particularly, you know, we're the big supporter of the precinct

00:19:49.920 strategy, which a lot of the folks are precinct strategy people did this, and they say in every

00:19:54.600 state, when they go, the establishment doesn't want them there, they change the meetings, they make it

00:19:58.780 very tough for them. What you guys showed in Texas is that if you have a MAGA state, and you have a

00:20:04.760 state that supports President Trump, and it's got the deplorables and MAGA and grassroots energy,

00:20:11.020 it's not about money. It's about spirit and willpower. If you unite together, because you did

00:20:16.040 this not just in the district level. These judges were statewide. I mean, you ran, you won amazing

00:20:22.460 statewide races. You also won congressional seats. Brandon Gillithing got 57 percent of the vote.

00:20:29.040 O'Shea's in a runoff down there in Fort Worth. I mean, this was across the board,

00:20:32.580 and you did it with no money. This is a template. This is a lesson for Ohio and other places out

00:20:39.040 there, Pennsylvania, that have these big turnouts of MAGA, but even in California, we can throw off

00:20:44.280 the establishment. Tell us, where do you stand today? Where do you go forward from here? Because

00:20:50.440 you have these House members. Talk to us about these runoffs, because Phelan has still not been

00:20:54.260 totally defeated, correct? That's correct. And look, Dick Weakley in Texas for Lawsuit Reform,

00:20:59.320 Karl Rove, and a group called Associated Republic of Texas, they'll spend millions. We know it's

00:21:04.260 coming. But the good thing for us, this is in May, end of May, the runoff, we have probably,

00:21:10.500 I think we're going to have 12 to 15 runoffs. The conservatives tend to show up. So we tend to

00:21:16.420 get our vote out. The history has been, every runoff I've ever been in, I got a minimum of 65%.

00:21:21.100 So I know we can win these. The momentum is in our favor. We just can't take it for granted.

00:21:28.060 We've got to get our people about. If we do that, we're going to win almost every one of

00:21:30.640 these runoffs, if not all of them. And guys like John O'Shea will be elected, and so will

00:21:35.880 David Covey when he defeats Dave Phelan.

00:21:40.940 David Covey, what a historic race. We're going to spend a lot of time on it in the next couple

00:21:43.960 of days. One thing I want to say, because I know you've got to bounce.

00:21:46.880 Last night, the buried lead from last night in Texas is John Cornyn is not going to be leader

00:21:51.420 in the Senate. John Cornyn's political career came to an end last night because he's going to get

00:21:55.620 primaried and he is not going to win a primary in Texas. When you got MAGA, this worked up. Now,

00:22:00.580 would you actually primary him, General Paxton, or are we going to pick somebody else to primary?

00:22:04.980 But do you agree with me that John Cornyn's political career came to an end last night?

00:22:09.500 Yes, I absolutely agree. You're right. There's no doubt about that. There's no way that he can win a

00:22:12.680 primary, whether it would be me or somebody else. I've made no decisions about what I'm doing after

00:22:17.780 this. My goal is to get people elected now, and that's two years out from now. But I agree with

00:22:23.980 you. There's no way he wins a primary in Texas.

00:22:28.540 And that means he can't be the leader of the Senate. Attorney General Paxton, your courage

00:22:33.640 last year, and of course, Mitch Little came to national attention, and he won after spending

00:22:38.540 $2 million against him in this house race. An incredible guy. All the whole ticket was

00:22:42.700 incredible. Where do people get you? Because we've got to stay on top of these runoffs. 0.99

00:22:46.820 At Ken Paxton, TX, and KenPaxton.com.

00:22:51.820 Attorney General Paxton, thank you so much. Thank you for coming on. Thank you for the fight.

00:22:55.760 And thank you for helping us. We couldn't have done it without you. Thanks a lot. It was a great day.

00:23:00.720 Thank you, brother. We had the easy part.

00:23:02.840 Boyle, you've been in a couple of three of these dogfights before. Give me your assessment of,

00:23:09.800 let's start, because I want to start with the state party. My point is, you have Ohio. You have

00:23:14.300 South Carolina. You have Georgia. You have even Arizona. But you have these places that are MAGA

00:23:20.600 country. I would even say your beloved Florida. But the apparatus is still controlled by the chamber

00:23:26.140 of commerce and the establishment. And Texas is the worst, because it's Bush and Rove. You know that

00:23:31.040 crowd down there. This is a tectonic plate shift in the MAGA movement and probably the biggest story

00:23:38.480 outside of President Trump's grabbing the Republican Party by the throat last night and

00:23:42.300 changing it. Your thoughts, sir? Yeah, well, look, it's not just Trump winning here. It's the average

00:23:49.820 person, the irregular guys taking back control of their country, but also of the Republican Party.

00:23:57.440 And you're seeing that with a number of different things with the election results last night. Look,

00:24:03.800 I think it was particularly interesting to see that both Maine and Alaska rejected the endorsements

00:24:11.560 of their senior senators, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, who both endorsed Nikki Haley in the last

00:24:19.020 week. And then the voters of their states proceeded to deliver landslide victories to Donald Trump over

00:24:26.800 Nikki Haley. So they just laughed off Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski. You're seeing Mitch McConnell head for the

00:24:34.560 exits and try to plan the end of his career. Obviously, he's announced that he's not going to stand for

00:24:40.160 Republican leader in the Senate again at the end of this year. You're seeing the debate and the fight over who's

00:24:46.260 going to replace him play out. Obviously, you know, last night's results in Texas were terrible, as you just heard

00:24:53.180 from the attorney general, Ken Paxton. They were terrible for John Corning, who is announced as

00:24:58.420 is because Corning. Go ahead. Go ahead, Matt. We just lost you for a second. Continue on.

00:25:12.220 The reason why Corning is getting in the race right now as fast as he is is because he's trying to wrap

00:25:17.520 it up early because he knows that when you look at down the field that these other races that are going

00:25:22.720 to play out, these Senate races that are playing out this year, you know, whether it's Ohio and Nevada,

00:25:28.040 Arizona, Montana, West Virginia, et cetera, the new senators who are coming, they're only going to be

00:25:36.620 reinforcements for the MAGAS side of the Republican Party. The new guys that are coming in, they are not

00:25:43.240 voting for the McConnell aligned people. They are going to be voting for the Trump aligned vision of the

00:25:50.740 Republican Party. So this is a process that's played out over the course of the last decade,

00:25:55.560 really. You saw it faster in the House of Representatives because, frankly, elections are

00:26:02.140 every two years. So it was a lot faster and easier to play out over there. But the Senate is probably one

00:26:08.140 election cycle away from being able to elect a real conservative, a real America first person as

00:26:15.100 the Republican leader in the Senate. And the, you know, the era of the McConnells and the Bushes and

00:26:21.180 the Rose is coming to a close here very quickly. Talk to me about President Trump. You saw the

00:26:29.560 meltdown. New York Times major editorial from the paper itself about how the worst thing that's

00:26:35.560 happened here recently is President Trump taking over the Republican Party. Your thoughts?

00:26:39.660 Yeah, look, I think that they are recognizing the smart people throughout the establishment media.

00:26:47.680 Look, the New York Times and CNN are, yes, they're establishment media and they're all in for Biden

00:26:52.900 and they hate Trump. But they're also smart and they recognize what's going on here. And they see the

00:27:00.680 same numbers that we do and they see what happened across these states. And this political realignment

00:27:05.960 that we've been talking about for a while is is is really coming into completion here in this

00:27:13.920 election cycle. If the look, Donald Trump got more votes than Joe Biden did in Minnesota last night.

00:27:21.060 Right. Like so the again, all the proper caveats here. But, you know, a higher percentage of Democrats

00:27:31.020 voted uncommitted for Biden in Minnesota than did in Michigan. Right. Like so this Republicans haven't won

00:27:39.360 Minnesota in a presidential election since 1972 when Richard Nixon was running for reelection. That was a long

00:27:46.420 time ago. That was a long time before I was born. So the fact is, is that it's the longest state, by the way,

00:27:51.720 even the Gipper couldn't get hang on for a second, Matt, we're going to hold you. Matt Boyle, national

00:28:00.280 political editor at Breitbart, his brain analysis. Cash is going to join us. A lot more folks want to

00:29:46.600 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:29:49.040 Okay, let's bring it. We've got Matt Boyle with us, going to write shotgun here for the rest of the

00:29:55.460 hour. Let's bring it. The Cash Patel. Cash, you've been with the president since the beginning. You're

00:30:01.260 one of the ones that first identified lawfare. They were coming for him. What are the lessons you take

00:30:05.320 away last night from from overall what happened and also specifically for places like Nevada, the

00:30:13.620 lessons they can learn from Texas? Let's start overall. What's what's what's your lessons learned last

00:30:18.260 night? I think the biggest lesson, Steve, is that Donald Trump has exposed the flank of the deep

00:30:25.300 state and their number one weapon, which has been a two tier system of justice. The lawfare that they

00:30:31.160 have utilized to try to kneecap President Trump and unconstitutionally imprison him and keep him

00:30:36.560 off the campaign trail is actually backfiring due to Trump's genius and his ability to relay to

00:30:41.780 everyday Americans that this two tier system of justice sponsored by the deep state is a reality.

00:30:47.460 It is not a right wing conspiracy theory. And they're coming for everyday Americans freedoms.

00:30:52.420 And last night, sweeping victories across the coast of America show that Americans are responding not

00:31:00.160 to the swamp DC monster, not to the Nikki Haley machine, and certainly not to the Joe Biden agenda

00:31:05.860 that is authoring this two tier system of justice. They are they are opting to choose Donald Trump.

00:31:11.280 And the Supreme Court has finally started the process to restore our constitutional republic to a uniform

00:31:18.640 system of justice. So the fight is on. But I think it's the winning message. And that's why Donald Trump is

00:31:24.100 dominating.

00:31:24.560 Let's play the Harry Enten. Matt, I brought this up real. Let's play Harry. I want to play Harry Enten,

00:31:31.240 his thoughts on this and have you respond.

00:31:35.260 So look at these polls that came out over the weekend, right? There were four of them. The New York

00:31:39.520 Times, Siena College poll got the most press, had Trump up four. But it was matched by a CBS News,

00:31:44.720 YouGov poll that also had Trump up four. Fox News, Trump up two. Wall Street Journal, Trump up two. And as I

00:31:51.340 mentioned, when we started, the polls right now look so much different than they did in 2020. Because

00:31:56.700 keep in mind, Trump led in not a single, there were zero, count them, zero general election polls

00:32:02.680 nationally that Trump led in during the 2020 campaign. Here we have four right here. And I want

00:32:08.260 to bring this to your attention because I think this is so interesting. Okay. Has Trump committed serious

00:32:13.620 federal crimes? This is among likely voters. Overall, the majority say yes. Yes, he has. Yes,

00:32:21.320 Trump was leading in that poll by four points as you see that New York Times, Siena College poll up

00:32:26.540 there. Why is that? Because take a look at 2024 Trump supporters. Even among them, 18% say he

00:32:33.480 committed serious federal crimes. And yet they're still voting for him. If you're Joe Biden, I just

00:32:38.420 have to ask the question, what the heck are you supposed to do with polling like this?

00:32:44.260 Cash, you know, Harry Enten, I think Bolin and I agree, Harry Enten is one of the smartest guys out

00:32:48.360 there in this. What's your response? How did the people around President Trump make sure that this

00:32:56.300 was presented the right way? They knew it was lawfare because those numbers are stunning. You

00:33:00.000 can tell Harry Enten's head's blowing up on national TV. Look, he's right in terms of the response for

00:33:08.240 Trump. Where he fails is he's trying to gloss over it by covering up for the deep state in the swamp

00:33:14.820 and saying Donald Trump is still some sort of federal convict when he's not. The voters have

00:33:20.640 resoundingly rejected the concept that Joe Biden's Justice Department is trying to bring down Donald

00:33:27.260 Trump with felonious charges that are baseless. So that is the one place where Harry is wrong.

00:33:33.120 The American public does not believe that Donald Trump is a felon, nor do they want him to be

00:33:38.800 convicted of it, because if it were to happen, it would be unconstitutional. That's the math.

00:33:44.020 That's the metrics behind the math. And that's where he gets it wrong because the mainstream media

00:33:49.840 can't have the narrative, can't contain themselves when they say Donald Trump is innocent because

00:33:55.800 that's what he is. States like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Nevada,

00:34:05.180 Arizona. What lessons can you guys, you're out in Nevada now, you're putting your shoulder to the

00:34:09.600 wheel out there. What lessons can you guys take from what happened in Texas last night?

00:34:12.840 That this constitutional republic can be saved with the America First movement of Donald Trump.

00:34:21.160 What you saw behind Donald Trump and A.G. Paxton and others down in Texas was a resounding,

00:34:26.300 not just defeat in the primaries of the rhino class and the Biden policies, but of the establishment

00:34:33.380 Republican candidates across this country. Because what they want is what we want in Nevada,

00:34:39.180 in Arizona and every other state. Border security, border security, border security. We want illegal

00:34:44.200 immigration to come to an end. We want legal immigration flipped back on and we want to end 0.99

00:34:49.360 the forever wars and we want to take out Russia, China and Iran threats to America and we want to put 1.00

00:34:56.120 America first. America has responded last night and the other primary and caucus evenings that were

00:35:01.560 before this, that that's what they want. And the only person that can deliver that righteousness movement

00:35:07.240 is Donald J. Trump. And the mechanism he is utilizing to relay his message is abolishing the

00:35:14.840 two-tier system of justice that is robbing Americans of their election day right. The deep state is trying

00:35:20.680 to rig another presidential election. And Donald Trump has me.

00:35:30.860 Cash, you're a little choppy. Give us your social media website, all of it.

00:35:38.140 Sorry about that. I'm out in parks of Utah. I'm at Cash Truth Social, at Cash at Truth Social.

00:35:43.700 And Donald Trump's firing off all day over there. And check out the CashFoundation.com

00:35:48.860 if you want to help get in a fight with our charity to help great Americans, whistleblowers,

00:35:53.340 those in need. We have a scholarship. We're giving away lots of money at the CashFoundation.com.

00:35:59.060 And also we're going to come out with the government gangsters. We premiered the

00:36:02.980 video, the highlight in the trailer at CPAC coming out around Memorial Day starring Cash Patel. We'll

00:36:10.540 have more information on that later. Cash, thank you so much for your analysis this morning, brother.

00:36:15.020 Thanks. Fighting the deep state. Petal technical issue with Boyle. We'll get you back up here

00:36:21.220 in a second. They're not happy. The beginning of the end of the old guard, because I'm talking

00:36:30.800 about the ones that dig in the hardest, the ones that have controlled this apparatus, have

00:36:34.320 controlled the GOP, have controlled the RNC, controlled the state party levels. Particularly,

00:36:39.660 there's no more powerful family that has their hands on the controls of the Republican Party

00:36:47.420 than the Bush, the Bush Hunter down in Texas. And as you saw in that impeachment, and then

00:36:53.680 you saw this big fight. And these candidates were amazing. I think there were 13 wins at

00:36:58.560 the House level of America First, MAGA candidates, anti-Bush candidates, anti-establishment candidates

00:37:07.180 that won and really had no money. Mitch Little had almost $1.92 million spent against him for a

00:37:12.840 Texas House race. You then had the judges. These are the appellate court, but that's essentially

00:37:18.500 the Supreme Court in the state of Texas. All three, Ken Paxton won. And the reason you can take

00:37:25.660 broader lessons from this, it shows you that even the strongest, most well-financed

00:37:31.720 establishment, dug-in establishment that controlled a party for 10, 20, 30, 40 years, is susceptible

00:37:39.600 to the grassroots movement, is susceptible to the precinct strategy, is susceptible to America First,

00:37:45.640 MAGA, the deplorables, the Trump movement. If you can take Texas, you can take anywhere. This is why

00:37:52.340 we focus so much on Texas and help the folks down there, but they did it on their own. This is also

00:37:56.600 something important about our movement. It is self-organizing. As people know, when you get in,

00:38:01.940 you start doing the precinct level, there's not a tremendous amount of organization of all this.

00:38:06.380 It's kind of ride to the sound of the guns, but it's working. And this upset in Texas is

00:38:13.080 unbelievable. And of course, Brandon Gill, and we hope Brandon can join us in a little while,

00:38:16.860 Brandon Gill, unbelievable, 57%, so he's, that district's a red district. He's still got the

00:38:23.320 general to go through, but he, or the general election, but it looks like he could go to

00:38:26.980 Congress. John O'Neill is going to be in a, is going to be in a, in a runoff in, O'Shea,

00:38:36.060 John O'Shea, another Mick, going to be in a runoff in Fort Worth. Phelan, it's the first time in,

00:38:42.300 in 50 years or 52 years that a, uh, a speaker of the Texas house is in jeopardy. Okay. So these

00:38:50.440 are victories overall. And look at president Trump across the board, Trump candidates, uh,

00:38:55.460 winning everywhere. President Trump putting his mark on it, you know, bird brain, we didn't play

00:39:00.300 it now. She wasn't up there long. She's only up there for about four minutes. She's not in a good

00:39:05.520 mood. One thing she failed to do, we would have covered it if she would have endorsed the president, 1.00

00:39:11.660 but of course, bird brain, not going to do that. And, and they had a bunch of analysis

00:39:16.020 up on CNN, I think this morning, uh, that shows exit polls with her voters. I think they picked

00:39:21.420 the Commonwealth of Virginia was the one they picked might've been Virginia, North Carolina,

00:39:24.840 but it's like 87% of her voters in the Commonwealth, um, support Biden. They think Biden's doing a

00:39:33.380 wonderful job. Approval ratings of, uh, with her voters were like 87%. They love what he's doing

00:39:38.760 in the economy. My point is independents and Democrats came over and voted for that or

00:39:43.640 Republicans who are never going to support, never going to support president Trump. That's

00:39:48.640 just a fact. So this movement is building momentum. Now my recommendation. So two things

00:39:54.820 before I move on, Cornyn is part of the problem. Cornyn's just another version of Mitch McConnell.

00:40:03.580 He's Mitch McConnell with a Southern accent. Cornyn is already thrown out. He's running for

00:40:08.340 leadership. Cornyn's political career came to an end last night because Cornyn is the one

00:40:13.480 that's been mocking, uh, Ken Paxson from the beginning. How does it feel now, Cornyn?

00:40:18.960 Any Senator in the United States Senate ought to ask Cornyn, well, hang on, dude, you just

00:40:25.160 had a revolt down there in Texas and threw all you guys out. And now you've got this grassroots

00:40:30.180 of saying, Hey, next guy on the list is you. After electing into Texas is going to show a,

00:40:35.340 show a big. And this is how you beat back that. Remember Texas turning blue, Texas turning

00:40:40.160 purple. They're not talking about that right now. They're not talking about that right

00:40:44.480 now. They're talking about MAGA sweeping victories in Texas for president Trump. That's

00:40:49.580 what they're talking about. And John Cornyn, Cornyn's got to understand something. You mess

00:40:54.300 with the wrong guy. When you mess with Ken Paxson, a lot of those guys take Paxson on. They

00:40:58.960 think this guy's kind of goofy. Who's he? He's got nothing. He's got less, less impeach 0.65

00:41:02.840 him. Let's throw him out. Didn't work. And it revealed, it revealed lessons about how this 0.65

00:41:09.400 country's run that in the States. And you see this in the house, we're going to get more

00:41:14.500 to the house. I think this afternoon when I've got time, you know, they're blaming, uh,

00:41:19.040 all of this on McCarthy's deal in, in April and May or May and June. I agree. That deal is

00:41:24.440 very tough to, to work around. It just is structurally. However, if you have the stones,

00:41:32.280 you can force their hand. If you believe that a shutdown of the government is a good thing,

00:41:37.880 it could be used for a good thing. If you use the leverage to force them to take actions,

00:41:43.280 they wouldn't necessarily otherwise take. It is a positive. Johnson, these guys have worked

00:41:48.660 on this, this assumption that the media will say bad things about him. The, the, the, the

00:41:54.060 five Heritans, uh, up there last night at MSNBC. Why did they throw, why didn't MSNBC, 0.87

00:41:58.760 why did they throw Ari Melber and Chris Hayes? Chris Hayes is saying brilliant stuff about,

00:42:03.340 you know, pop rise to the populace, right? No, no, no college degrees. And they get,

00:42:07.780 they give them the hook. They give Ari Melber the hook. They have five women. Isn't that

00:42:12.060 kind of discriminatory? How come you can't change the morning show to morning Mika? If you're

00:42:18.520 going to have five women up there beating on people, right? And, and, and laughing 1.00

00:42:21.760 at immigration and laughing at, you know, and saying, Oh, the West by God, Virginia and

00:42:26.440 Virginia ought to have a border wall. If you're up there making fun of, of the migrant, migrant

00:42:31.360 crime and murders of young women and kids, um, you know, why, why don't you change the morning

00:42:36.720 show to morning Mika? Why do you discriminate against her? If it's girl power, that's all 1.00

00:42:40.900 you talked about last night. It was like a slumber party. You guys said it was like a slumber

00:42:43.700 party or coffee clatch or a wine tasting, whatever you guys were throwing out there. But this

00:42:48.760 shows you what we're up against. That's the arrogance. And in Texas, you had the establishment

00:42:54.580 arrogance that was taken care of last night in States like Ohio and Pennsylvania and Nevada

00:42:59.880 and South Carolina, and particularly Georgia. I mean, Georgia is MAGA Georgia. You get some

00:43:06.080 of the greatest patrons in the country down there. And you got, you got the Southern, uh,

00:43:11.360 wing of the, our foothold of the Bush apparatus right there with Kemp and Raffensperger and all

00:43:16.780 of them laughing at you all the time. Hey, laughing just like Rove and the Bushes were

00:43:20.780 laughing at Ken Paxson and the MAGA movement. They ain't laughing this morning because they

00:43:27.200 got crushed last night in just an incredible, incredible grassroots effort. Okay. Short

00:43:31.860 commercial breaker and getting into all of it. President Trump's big victory. President

00:43:35.840 Trump, you know what he ought to do? I think you ought to do the following. He ought to challenge

00:43:39.700 Biden to the debate next week. Say, come on, let's go. Come on, dog. Let's go.

00:45:43.360 to get much worse. Welcome back. One of the biggest upsets last night and one of the biggest

00:45:57.880 situations nationally was Brandon Gill down in Texas running for a seat in Congress against

00:46:05.140 establishment and well-financed money. Brandon, walk me through. You got essentially 58% of the

00:46:12.220 votes. There's no runoff. You're the Republican nominee and you'll go in the in a red district in

00:46:17.480 in the fall. So all likelihood to the House. But you had you had a tremendous amount of money from

00:46:23.560 outside groups, D.C. groups spent to smear you because you're MAGA. Walk us through walk us through

00:46:29.980 what happened, how this happened, and how did you end up winning? Absolutely. Thanks for having me on.

00:46:36.300 Sorry, my voice is going out here. You're right. This was an 11-person field. And in an 11-person

00:46:44.320 primary, common sense tells you you're definitely going to a runoff, especially whenever you have

00:46:50.200 $2 million of outside D.C. swamp super PAC money attacking you. And as we talked about before,

00:46:58.380 they spent $2 million trying to knock me out, not trying to knock anybody else out or to support

00:47:03.900 anybody else just to take, you know, at one point it was never Trumpers in Texas 26 in this race.

00:47:09.580 It was the never Brandons trying to take me out. And, you know, the thing is, whenever $2 million

00:47:15.800 is spent against you in the final three weeks of a Republican primary race, there's no way that that

00:47:23.820 my campaign could answer that with that degree of with that magnitude. I mean, we don't have $2 million

00:47:30.700 we can spend on TV ads and texts and mailers and getting up on cable and broadcast. I mean,

00:47:37.280 the attacks on me were ubiquitous. But what happened was, and this is so important, the grassroots saw

00:47:44.860 through this entirely, and they mobilized against these attacks. The way we got the message out,

00:47:52.380 and this is kind of the nuts and bolts of campaigns, is the grassroots got entirely behind us

00:47:58.540 and went door to door, knocking door to door, sending out just private texts to their friends,

00:48:05.260 talking to their friends, making phone calls and saying, listen, these attacks that you're seeing

00:48:09.920 all over the place against Brandon Gill are total lies. They're fabrications. And here's the truth.

00:48:17.120 So the amazing thing is, you know, the grassroots don't get enough credit, especially

00:48:22.620 in D.C. It doesn't matter how much money D.C. spends against MAGA Trump aligned candidates,

00:48:30.340 because the grassroots are there and they are behind Trump. They're behind the MAGA agenda and

00:48:37.000 they're behind Trump aligned candidates. And as we talked about, I was endorsed by President Trump.

00:48:42.460 Whenever the grassroots mobilize, they are an absolute force to be reckoned with. And that's what we saw

00:48:48.960 in my election yesterday. We got 58 percent of the vote. And that's because the grassroots were there

00:48:55.980 behind us. 58 percent and two of the name, both Army and Huffman combined, they had the money and

00:49:03.620 the name recognition combined, if I'm wrong, around 26 percent? That sounds about right, around 26 percent.

00:49:12.220 And whenever you look at the combined spend, I mean, we were outspent by a significant amount.

00:49:18.640 We'll be doing our sort of post-op today and find out. But it was we were outspent by a lot.

00:49:24.160 But again, it was the grassroots that came behind us. And again, this is a huge win for President Trump.

00:49:30.760 No matter what D.C. or the swamp or the establishment wants to say, President Trump is the leader of the

00:49:37.380 Republican Party. He is the ideological leader of the conservative movement and the people, the actual

00:49:43.700 voters, not not the swamp, not the super PACs. Remember, super PACs don't vote. Money doesn't

00:49:49.720 vote. The people do. And the people had a massive, massive victory yesterday.

00:49:57.300 Just before we let you go, I want to make sure people understand this, because they came at you and

00:50:00.960 these people at these PACs and super PACs hide behind the fact that they're trying to help the

00:50:05.880 Republican cause. They're trying to move forward with President Trump and MAGR because they tell

00:50:09.740 him one thing to his face. But then when they see people like yourself that back him at the local

00:50:13.820 level, it's very different. These were super PACs and PACs D.C. centric that essentially didn't want

00:50:20.640 a young fighter like you up on Capitol Hill, particularly given this mess we've got in the

00:50:24.660 House. Is that and these people report on the outside, particularly when they're down in Mar-a-Lago

00:50:29.580 with Trump, that support Trump. But when it when when the action starts, they want to take

00:50:34.600 out the Brandon Gills. Am I too far off base in that analysis?

00:50:39.340 No, that's exactly right. And I think that that's the that's how insidious this is, is whenever

00:50:45.340 people will align themselves with the conservative movement and then use that to mask their real

00:50:52.500 agenda, which is to bash and demean and lie about true conservative fighters and to stop them

00:51:00.200 from going to Washington. I mean, these people are against anybody who's going to stand with

00:51:05.900 President Trump. They're going to stand with the Freedom Caucus or Senator Cruz. I certainly

00:51:10.460 will. And they're doing everything they can to malign Trump aligned candidates to to knock

00:51:19.400 Trump's influence in the Republican Party. And that's that's the frustrating part is that it's

00:51:24.460 it's still within our own party. But I think that my election and certainly you were talking

00:51:30.300 about elections across the country and especially in Texas show that President Trump, no matter what

00:51:36.560 these guys do, President Trump is the leader. The grassroots are behind him and the grassroots

00:51:41.300 are going to be what what push President Trump across the finish line in November.

00:51:47.660 Brandon, how can people find out more about you, your campaign, social media, all of it? You still

00:51:51.780 got a general election in the fall. You said you're going to sit with the Freedom Caucus. You're

00:51:55.260 you're endorsed by Trump and Cruz and everybody, all grassroots leaders. Where do people find out

00:52:00.320 more? You can go to my website, Brandon Gill for Congress dot com. There's more information about me.

00:52:07.060 There's a link to donate if anybody would like to help us out there. It makes a huge difference.

00:52:12.100 You know, who knows what November is going to look like? We feel really good. This is a red district, 0.99

00:52:16.300 but we know that the swamp doesn't want me there. They've already shown that. So if anybody would like to

00:52:21.380 help us out by financially contributing, we'd really appreciate it. I'm also on social media.

00:52:25.820 You can find me on Twitter at real Brandon Gill.

00:52:31.140 Brandon Gill, 58 percent. Big win. Thank you, sir.

00:52:34.640 Thanks for having me.

00:52:38.120 Boyle, can I keep you through? We're going to take a 90 second break. Can I keep you through a

00:52:41.160 little bit? And because you had a technical problem, I know you're you're you're in high demand,

00:52:44.700 but can we keep you for a few minutes on the other side? I think people want your closing thoughts.

00:52:48.220 Yeah, absolutely.

00:52:52.040 OK, OK, here's what we're going to do. We're going to take a 90 second break. We're going to start the

00:53:46.660 I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money in our bank accounts.

00:53:52.060 First, think back to 9-11 shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.

00:53:56.780 This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and

00:54:02.320 tracking our movement across the Internet. Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the Independent Financial

00:54:07.820 Newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming

00:54:13.460 event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level. In fact,

00:54:19.300 some of the guests I've had on the war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers

00:54:23.720 to track our every move. If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes,

00:54:30.340 buy firearms, or even vote MAGA, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.

00:54:36.080 I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.

00:54:42.280 Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate

00:54:46.920 us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.
