Bannon's War Room - Episode 3514： Meltdown Over Project 2025： Swing Hard In Case You Hit It

00:00:00.000 No labels, third party candidates. We're going to talk about RFK in a second, but let's talk about no labels because they were supposed to field a no labels candidacy, a no labels ticket, a unifying ticket.

00:00:12.000 This is the breaking news here of the afternoon on the third party front because no labels just announced that they are not going to go through with this for the reason being.

00:00:19.940 They could not field candidates that they said that they believed could credibly win the White House for the last year.

00:00:25.360 Basically, no one wanted to. Nobody wanted to do this. A great many of them that we know had concerns that they could very well only help Donald Trump by taking and siphoning votes from Joe Biden.

00:00:37.020 You had the likes of Liz Cheney, Kristen Nunu. The list was long of folks that turned them down that were offered this ballot line.

00:00:44.720 They want to have one Republican, one Democrat, and yet nobody wanted to go and potentially be the one that was blamed next November for putting Donald Trump in the White House.

00:00:52.580 Charlie, Manchin, Hogan in Maryland.

00:00:55.680 Right, even William McRaven.

00:00:57.300 I mean, the last was I was told that they were trying to reach out to Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

00:01:02.040 I mean, this list was long, and yet they couldn't find actually any suitors that wanted to throw their name to the ring, even though that ballot line was literally available to them.

00:01:09.740 What is The Rock's line? The Rock doesn't smell what you're cooking or something?

00:01:13.200 I guess he didn't. I think that's what it is. Yeah, it is. All right.

00:01:16.500 The Rock didn't smell what they were cooking.

00:01:17.940 You're the expert on The Rock, Katie.

00:01:19.120 I do love The Rock.

00:01:20.920 Thank you very much.

00:01:22.960 Ladies and gentlemen, please rise for the horribly and unfairly treated January 6th hostages.

00:01:32.600 Former President Donald Trump keeps calling January 6th rioters hostages, demanding their release and accusing the Justice Department of mistreating and abusing them.

00:01:41.860 NBC's Ryan Reilly dug into the roughly 1,300 people charged for January 6th.

00:01:46.140 More than 900 of them have been convicted.

00:01:49.120 Most of the rest are free as they await trial.

00:01:52.880 But 15 are currently in pretrial detention.

00:01:56.660 In most of those cases, Reilly reports, judges found overwhelming evidence.

00:02:01.460 The defendants were dangerous.

00:02:02.660 We have stronger election officials and attorneys generals in a number of states.

00:02:08.880 And, frankly, we have battle-tested lawyers.

00:02:12.460 You know, me and my team, we've been doing this a long time.

00:02:15.860 But the experience of beating Donald Trump 60-plus times after 2020 has taught us a few things about how to approach these things heading into 2024.

00:02:25.760 And that's not just us.

00:02:26.760 That's a lot of lawyers. 0.99

00:02:28.480 So I think that we're going to be ready on the voter suppression front.

00:02:32.860 I do want to echo something that Jim said, which is that political violence is something that is fundamentally different.

00:02:39.900 Because, you know, voters will show up to vote even if there's some suppression if they know you're fighting for them.

00:02:47.460 It's a whole other thing if they think that they're going to wind up in the middle of a war zone.

00:02:51.560 And what we saw on January 6th was a clear warning shot by Republicans that they will take it to the next level.

00:02:57.600 They will assault police officers.

00:02:59.480 They will break and enter into government buildings.

00:03:02.320 And I think that that is something that local law enforcement and state and national law enforcement are going to have to really be prepared for.

00:03:13.340 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:03:18.360 Pray for our enemies.

00:03:19.640 Because we're going medieval on these people.

00:03:23.680 Here's the reason I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:03:27.940 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:03:29.900 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:03:31.320 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that.

00:03:33.020 But you're not going to stop it.

00:03:33.960 It's going to happen.

00:03:35.220 And where do people like that go to share the big line?

00:03:38.620 Mega media.

00:03:39.540 I wish in my soul.

00:03:41.800 I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:03:45.500 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:03:49.160 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:03:55.580 War Room.

00:03:56.000 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:03:58.440 Bannon.

00:04:03.800 Welcome Thursday.

00:04:05.440 Welcome Thursday for April Year of Our Lord 2024.

00:04:08.420 No labels announces.

00:04:10.500 No takers.

00:04:11.320 They didn't really.

00:04:11.980 It's not about no takers.

00:04:13.120 These phonies only wanted takers that would hit President Trump.

00:04:20.060 They only had people kind of volunteering that would take away from Biden.

00:04:24.820 Later in all the shows they've been going through about how Bobby Kennedy, when he added him to the ticket,

00:04:29.480 and then if you even throw in Cornel West later in Stein, it's devastating to Biden, but particularly Bobby Kennedy.

00:04:38.540 And so all those naysayers out there, oh, Bannon's from him, it's going to hurt Trump.

00:04:41.800 You were wrong, dead wrong, as I knew you were, dead wrong.

00:04:47.000 But I was too gentlemanly at the time to say anything.

00:04:49.400 You're dead wrong.

00:04:52.520 Unbelievable.

00:04:53.680 They're freaking out.

00:04:55.000 They're taking out.

00:04:55.640 First time they've seen it.

00:04:56.460 In fact, MSNBC's been reporting all day.

00:04:58.200 The Democrats have never laid a glove on third party candidates.

00:05:02.120 So just pretend like they're not there.

00:05:04.020 They're taking out massive ad buys against Bobby Kennedy.

00:05:06.620 Bobby Kennedy now says he's going to be on the ballot in Arizona and Idaho and one other place.

00:05:13.500 I want to say Wisconsin or Michigan.

00:05:15.940 But no labels wouldn't take him.

00:05:19.520 No labels wouldn't take him because they understand that's a dagger to the heart of Biden.

00:05:24.540 So we'll get to all that.

00:05:25.420 So much going on this afternoon.

00:05:27.520 I want to get to Derek Evans.

00:05:30.060 Derek Evans, you're quite controversial in your run for Congress.

00:05:34.540 You're running from West by God, Virginia, one of the greatest states in this union.

00:05:39.280 Of course, as a Virginian, it kind of hurts me to say that, right?

00:05:42.120 Used to be part of the Old Dominion.

00:05:44.480 You're running in West Virginia, one.

00:05:47.500 Why are you so controversial?

00:05:50.160 Well, because I'm an outspoken MAGA Trump supporter.

00:05:53.300 Quite frankly, I'm considered controversial because I'm the only elected legislator in the entire country.

00:05:59.440 And when I say that, think about everyone who ran in 2020, ran across the country as they were MAGA, as they were patriots, as they were Trump supporters.

00:06:07.120 When it came time to stand with President Trump on January 6th, I'm the only elected legislator in the entire country who had the courage to go stand with President Trump on January 6th.

00:06:16.980 The deep state came to my house, ripped me away from my family, threw me in prison, held me hostage.

00:06:22.440 And as soon as I got out, I put out a video, I put out a statement and said, you can throw me in prison.

00:06:26.700 You can throw me in solitary, confine me, you can drag my name through the mud.

00:06:29.640 But it doesn't change the facts.

00:06:30.820 You guys stole the election.

00:06:32.460 And the real insurrection occurred on November 3rd, 2020.

00:06:35.100 So we all know that the deep state and the fake news media, they do not like outspoken conservatives with backbone.

00:06:41.020 And that's, quite frankly, why they hate me.

00:06:42.980 And that's why I'm going to be a thorn in their side once I'm elected into Congress.

00:06:47.660 So it's kind of stunning because we're always hearing about guys still in prison.

00:06:51.160 So many of these J6 guys are still there. 1.00

00:06:52.880 Some of them still in D.C., haven't come to trial.

00:06:55.400 Someone just got sentenced the other day.

00:06:57.120 They said it's the biggest manhunt they've ever had in the history of the country.

00:06:59.640 Bigger than going after the communists after World War II, going after the KKK, going after the Black Panthers, all the anti-war movement, blowing up buildings, right?

00:07:10.400 This is the biggest ever, the biggest dragnet.

00:07:12.640 How can you possibly be running for Congress?

00:07:15.660 Because they thought you were a bad guy.

00:07:17.380 They rounded you up.

00:07:18.760 What did they actually charge you with that you're back and you're actually running and you're quite competitive with the person that you're running against who's a sitting member of Congress?

00:07:27.220 Well, you know, long story short, they charged me with the four basic misdemeanors of trespassing and parading and picketing on Capitol grounds.

00:07:35.280 I got the parading and picketing charge because at one point the crowd was chanting, we want Trump, and we chanted USA, and I joined in and participated in those chants.

00:07:44.340 And therefore, they charged me with parading and picketing on Capitol grounds.

00:07:48.120 And then they bumped that up to the 1512 obstruction of official proceeding, which is a 20-year felony that most people are aware of.

00:07:54.580 President Trump has been charged with that as well.

00:07:56.940 And so I was one of the first people arrested.

00:07:58.620 I was arrested on January 8th, 2021.

00:08:01.120 And so I served my time.

00:08:02.100 I'm home now, back with my family.

00:08:03.800 Thank God.

00:08:04.500 And I thank God for that every single day.

00:08:06.980 And, you know, instead of being quiet, instead of stepping down and hiding, I wanted to show the American people that I'm just an average guy from southern West Virginia.

00:08:15.340 I took one on the chin from the most powerful corrupt government in the history of the world.

00:08:18.580 I had my name drug through the mud by the most powerful fake news media in the history of the world.

00:08:22.220 I got up.

00:08:23.160 I dusted my britches off.

00:08:24.420 I'm still standing, and I'm still fighting to save this country.

00:08:27.000 If I can do that, then anyone can do that.

00:08:28.820 And look, this is an R-plus-23 district.

00:08:30.920 It's an ultra-MAGA district. 0.90

00:08:32.780 This is Trump country.

00:08:33.980 When the people here, when they remember that I'm the guy that was elected to be a state rep in the state of West Virginia and had the courage to go stand with President Trump, when they make the connection that I'm the same guy, they're coming over and voting for us in droves.

00:08:46.500 We're polling great.

00:08:47.160 We're raising money.

00:08:47.980 And we're really excited where we're at right now.

00:08:49.720 I remember the moment you were arrested.

00:08:54.660 National TV, it had like you were John Dillinger.

00:08:57.660 At the time, they had you for parading and what?

00:09:01.580 Parading and singing on the Capitol grounds.

00:09:03.720 They had you for two minutes.

00:09:04.580 I want you to go back to those misdemeanors because they had, I think CNN, they had all the media was there.

00:09:10.280 It was literally like you were Machine Gun Kelly that was surrendering.

00:09:14.620 What were the charges that they actually had?

00:09:17.120 Parading and picketing, doing what on the Capitol?

00:09:19.080 They got guys, no offense, they got guys picketing on the Capitol grounds 24 hours a day, it seems like.

00:09:24.480 The war room is right in back of the Capitol.

00:09:26.400 They got folks of their all time picketing and parading.

00:09:29.280 How could that be a crime?

00:09:31.060 Well, the difference is I was doing it, not only was I doing it on behalf of President Trump and the American people, but I was an elected Republican who had the courage to stand up and take a stand with the American people that day.

00:09:41.500 They were tasting blood.

00:09:43.240 They were so mad at President Trump.

00:09:45.560 They were mad at the MAGA movement, and they couldn't get their hands on him at the time.

00:09:49.620 At the time, I was the only elected Republican they could get their hands on.

00:09:53.260 And so, yeah, to your point, it was absolutely insane with the media circus surrounding that.

00:09:58.980 BBC flew a crew in from Britain and came to my home in West Virginia and knocked on my door.

00:10:04.600 Media outlets from Ireland and all over the place came to my house in little old West Virginia wanting interviews.

00:10:09.680 It was something surreal to say the least, but it just goes to show you the media sensation from the very beginning.

00:10:16.780 They were prepared to paint this false narrative of insurrection.

00:10:21.380 Correct me if I'm wrong.

00:10:24.960 This other charge they bumped it up to, this is the charge that's actually before the Supreme Court that if this is overturned – and it's quite controversial.

00:10:32.940 In fact, people – stopping an official proceeding.

00:10:36.100 I mean nobody's even heard of it.

00:10:37.900 This is the one that's so controversial.

00:10:39.940 What you actually ended up being charged with is what's in front of the Supreme Court about – and potentially could be overturned.

00:10:46.440 And they say like half of the people they've already rounded up, either their sentence will be dramatically reduced or they'll actually walk.

00:10:52.600 Because they only added this – according to Julie Kelly, who's been bulletproof on this, they only added this to try to kick these things up to a felony.

00:11:00.360 Is that being litigated now in front of the Supreme Court?

00:11:02.740 It is, and yes, Julie Kelly is a true patriot.

00:11:05.880 So thankful for her and all the work she's done for people like myself in the January 6th community.

00:11:10.760 But just to give everybody a Cliff Notes version on that, so the obstruction of official proceeding, that was created under the – like in the early 2000s when they had the insider bank trading with Enron and those sorts of things.

00:11:22.540 What was happening is people were tampering with witnesses.

00:11:25.420 So someone was set to come testify before Congress.

00:11:28.700 People were tampering with those witnesses, either threatening them, bribing them in some way.

00:11:33.020 And so the whole entire code is under the title of tampering with a witness.

00:11:36.920 No one on January 6th tampered with a witness.

00:11:39.580 But the federal government is doing whatever they want to do right now.

00:11:42.260 And so basically anyone that they really wanted to ramp it up with who was nonviolent, they were slapping this charge as a 20-year felony.

00:11:49.540 And then they use that over your head and try to use that as leverage against you.

00:11:53.060 But I want everyone to realize that the weaponization of government is a major issue right now.

00:11:57.740 If what they're doing to President Trump, they can do it to him, they can do it to anyone.

00:12:01.620 They will be coming to a door near you very soon.

00:12:06.040 No, they've charged President Trump.

00:12:07.520 This is one of the whole issues about half the charges against him, but these kind of made-up phony charges may be dropped by the Supreme Court.

00:12:13.580 Did anyone – you were elected Republican official in the Republican Party of West Virginia.

00:12:19.460 West Virginia is a MAGA state.

00:12:21.980 West Virginia is a Trump state.

00:12:23.740 In fact, was it justice flipped from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party to increase his power?

00:12:28.740 Did anybody in the state party or anybody in the National Republican Party come to your assistance at all in those first initial dark days?

00:12:36.880 No one in the National Party.

00:12:38.260 There were a handful here in the statehouse who was reaching out to me and trying to have my back.

00:12:44.080 But as a whole, no, absolutely not.

00:12:45.820 We have a bunch of spineless jellyback rhinos in D.C.

00:12:49.020 I would say that we all talk about the swamp in D.C.

00:12:51.880 Every state has their own individual swamp, what I call Charleston, which is our capital here in West Virginia.

00:12:56.660 It's a sludge pond, which is a play on the words from the coal sludge from the coal mines.

00:13:01.480 But that's what we're dealing with in West Virginia.

00:13:03.000 Every state has one.

00:13:04.380 And unfortunately, we have a lot of people who love to talk a big game during campaign season.

00:13:08.960 But when it comes time to actually stand up and do something, they're few and far between.

00:13:13.180 And look, that's what I think makes me different than everyone else.

00:13:15.740 I'm not just a January 6th person who decided to run for office.

00:13:19.260 You know, I was already elected.

00:13:20.840 So I know there's been a lot of people come before me who have said, oh, I'm going to do that.

00:13:24.820 Like Crenshaw, for instance.

00:13:25.860 Everybody thought Dan Crenshaw was going to be this MAGA patriot person, and he's just a spineless jellyback rhino as well. 0.96

00:13:31.660 And so the difference in myself and others is I've already been elected.

00:13:34.860 I could have sat at home.

00:13:35.960 I could have raised money off of this.

00:13:37.640 I could have done the petition thing or whatever.

00:13:39.580 I chose to go stand with the American people as a state representative, and I'm going to go do the same thing as a member of Congress.

00:13:44.780 I tell everyone I'm not running to make friends.

00:13:46.680 I'm not running to play patty cake politics.

00:13:48.800 We're in a battle for the future of this country right now.

00:13:50.940 President Trump's going to need some loyal help.

00:13:52.620 I'm running to kick in the front door and expose the corruption in D.C.

00:13:55.260 Okay, if you can hang through this break, we want to bring you back and talk about the difference between you and your opponent.

00:14:03.640 Gold up at another all-time high today.

00:14:05.720 I think it backed off a bit, some profit-taking, but every day it's bouncing around.

00:14:08.740 It looks like it's trying to set a new floor.

00:14:11.060 We're not here to give you financial advice.

00:14:12.800 We don't give you financial advice, but we do put you in contact with some of the great professionals.

00:14:17.840 I think we've been correct on the macro forces throughout the world, geopolitics, national security, capital markets, debt, government spending throughout the world, the leverage, the $300 trillion the world has.

00:14:30.720 It's kind of leveraged.

00:14:31.640 Like I said, we're going to have the biggest margin call in history.

00:14:34.900 It's coming.

00:14:36.240 How do you protect yourself?

00:14:37.500 How do you hedge yourself?

00:14:38.380 For one thing, as you know, we talk a lot about history in this show.

00:14:42.240 History shows us for 6,000, 7,000, 8,000 years, a hedge against times of turbulence is gold.

00:14:48.640 So go to birchgold.com and talk to Philip Patrick and the team.

00:14:52.660 Yoram Hazani is going to be with us from Jerusalem in the second hour to talk about some of the turbulence over there.

00:14:57.240 Short commercial break.

00:14:58.100 We're going back to West Bay.

00:14:59.840 The so-called financial experts thought we were in the clear.

00:15:02.580 They were anticipating around six rate cuts by the Fed this year, and then the inflation data came out.

00:15:08.380 Higher than expected.

00:15:09.880 Friends, this isn't going away.

00:15:12.620 It can't.

00:15:13.800 The U.S. is $34 trillion plus in the hole, and yet we keep printing money, which pushes the prices you pay every day even higher.

00:15:23.740 So you can either bury your head in the sand, or you can do something about it.

00:15:28.320 Diversify a portion of your savings into gold with Birch Gold Group.

00:15:32.640 Gold is your hedge against inflation, and Birch Gold makes it easy to own.

00:15:36.740 They'll help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in gold, and you don't pay a penny out of pocket.

00:15:45.560 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989-8-9-8, and get your free info kit on gold.

00:15:53.120 Then talk to a precious metals specialist on how to protect your savings from persistent inflation with gold.

00:16:00.800 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989-8-9-8.

00:16:05.960 Do it today.

00:16:06.860 Action, action, action.

00:16:09.140 They've been trying to warn us to take Trump literally and seriously are doing just that in the case that Trump should be re-elected president in November.

00:16:16.840 Members of the January 6th Select Committee, the members of Congress and their staffs, who have done more than anyone else to pull the curtain back on Trump's efforts to overturn an election he lost,

00:16:28.180 are now bracing for Trump's much-promised public promises of retribution should he prevail in November.

00:16:35.620 And his plan is, as we all know, to weaponize the Justice Department and use it to go after all of the people he perceives as political opponents.

00:16:44.340 Former January 6th Committee members O'Loughran telling the Los Angeles Times this,

00:16:49.040 quote, if he intends to eliminate our constitutional system and start arresting his political enemies, I guess I would be on that list.

00:16:56.400 One thing I did learn on the committee is to pay attention and listen to what Trump says because he means it.

00:17:02.340 The Los Angeles Times goes on to say this, quote,

00:17:06.840 Lofgren added that she does not yet have a plan in place to thwart potential retribution by Trump,

00:17:12.640 but Representative Adam Schiff, who has long been a burr in Trump's side, said he's having real-time conversations with his staff

00:17:19.860 about how to make sure he stays safe if Trump follows through on his threats.

00:17:24.480 Quote, we're taking this seriously because we have to, Schiff said.

00:17:28.000 We have seen this movie before and how perilous it is to ignore what someone is saying when they say they want to be a dictator.

00:17:36.340 Trump didn't just say he wants to be a dictator just once.

00:17:39.640 He's now said it over and over again in public, in speeches, in front of his supporters, in all sorts of different ways many, many times.

00:17:47.540 Okay.

00:17:49.420 I realize for some of you, you can't stand any of that,

00:17:52.520 but we have to do it to frame the narratives they're trying to frame and to shatter them.

00:17:58.560 President, here's what they're worried about because all the polling is terrible.

00:18:02.220 The Bobby Kennedy thing, if he gets on the ballot, eats into him.

00:18:05.060 The Jill Stein eats into him.

00:18:06.580 Cornel West, pay attention to Dr. West, eats into him.

00:18:10.100 They can't pull their coalition together.

00:18:11.600 They can't talk about Bidenomics.

00:18:13.180 The wars are all out of control.

00:18:14.700 They're still trying to fund.

00:18:16.260 We're going to talk more about that in a second, particularly Ukraine.

00:18:18.600 So they can't pull it together.

00:18:19.720 And President Trump's going to win, just like he won in 2020.

00:18:23.460 He's going to win.

00:18:24.620 And they're panicked.

00:18:26.140 And one of the reasons they're panicked, I think they have some splaining to do, right?

00:18:31.140 I think they have some splaining to do, as they would say on Lucille Ball's show.

00:18:35.060 Derek, just a question, and I don't want to focus too much on January 6th because you're running

00:18:39.320 and you're looking to the lived experience of the American people,

00:18:43.340 and particularly the folks in West Virginia 1, and also the future.

00:18:46.700 But do you believe we've been in power in the House since January of 2022, excuse me, 2023?

00:18:55.280 Do you believe we should have reconstituted the January 6th committee and actually have

00:19:00.520 a real committee, give the Democrats a ranking member like Jamie Raskin, give them a council

00:19:05.760 like we've done Watergate, like we did Iran-Contra, like we've done every major committee of investigation

00:19:12.820 in this, in oversight in this country?

00:19:14.740 Do you believe that Congress should have done that?

00:19:17.400 Oh, yeah.

00:19:18.000 I've been calling from that since day one.

00:19:19.920 I think most people in the January 6th community have been asking for that.

00:19:23.560 And look, I was just going to be clear.

00:19:25.460 The January 6th sham committee members, they should be shackled right now facing a jury for charges

00:19:30.840 of treason against our country alongside of Fauci and Mayorkas, all these people. 0.79

00:19:35.820 It's time for Republicans to grow a backbone, stop playing patty cake politics,

00:19:39.940 and start playing some hardball.

00:19:41.320 But absolutely, there needs to be an actual investigation into this because the real criminals

00:19:45.560 were sitting on that January 6th sham committee.

00:19:47.760 They deleted evidence.

00:19:49.120 They've destroyed evidence.

00:19:50.840 They've hidden evidence, all to paint this false narrative to come after President Trump.

00:19:55.320 And they need to be held accountable for that.

00:19:56.540 Now, Derek, the media is going to, mainstream media is going to be in full meltdown right

00:20:02.260 now.

00:20:02.540 Poor Nicole Wallace, you know, she's going to have to curl up in the fetal position because 1.00

00:20:06.180 you're hurting her feelings.

00:20:07.460 I take it your opponent is not where you are on some of these topics.

00:20:12.080 Am I correct in assuming that?

00:20:14.520 That is 100% correct.

00:20:15.940 Once again, this is an R plus 23 district.

00:20:18.000 Whoever wins the Republican primary wins the general election.

00:20:20.440 Look, my primary opponent, she's refused to endorse President Trump.

00:20:24.360 She's voted to send all of her money to Ukraine.

00:20:26.140 She supported all the lockdowns.

00:20:27.380 She brought Bill Gates here to West Virginia to help him roll out his Green New Deal and

00:20:31.120 his agenda of that. 0.93

00:20:32.880 It's absolutely ridiculous. 0.91

00:20:34.240 She votes for all these omnibus bills such as the, you know, funding abortion. 0.96

00:20:37.440 The most recent one helped to fund the transgender movement.

00:20:39.980 This is absolutely, like, I call her Rano, but really, to be honest with you, she's an

00:20:44.460 undocumented Democrat.

00:20:45.600 That's what we're dealing with right now.

00:20:46.700 Okay, but how did then people, you don't have a more patriotic or better district in

00:20:53.880 this country than West Virginia won.

00:20:55.380 Like you said, it's R plus 23.

00:20:56.620 I mean, that is MAGA and it's Trump country.

00:20:58.760 How did they elect her in the first place?

00:21:00.680 I mean, this just didn't come out of, it's not like a summer thunderstorm, right?

00:21:05.040 It's clearly she's had a record historically of kind of being, you know, centrist or center

00:21:11.120 left.

00:21:11.780 How did she get elected?

00:21:13.720 Well, you know, a lot of times people, it was a crowded primary.

00:21:16.180 When she ran the very first time.

00:21:17.860 And so she didn't really get a whole lot of votes to win that very first election.

00:21:21.580 And, you know, most people play the political shell game.

00:21:23.800 They want to sit back and play nice and try to wait their turn and then hope to, and just

00:21:27.820 let the incumbent go do whatever they want to do.

00:21:29.980 I don't play those games.

00:21:31.340 And so this is the first time she's had a real challenge since she was elected.

00:21:35.120 And look, we out-fundraised her in the fourth quarter of 2023.

00:21:39.100 Pretty sure we just out-fundraised her again in this quarter. 0.98

00:21:41.080 We raised, I don't know, about $350,000 this quarter alone.

00:21:44.420 So we're really excited right now.

00:21:46.180 And we're excited to give a real challenge and give the people in southern West Virginia

00:21:49.700 a true conservative option on the ballot.

00:21:53.740 So what is your pitch to the folks in West Virginia, southern West Virginia?

00:21:57.920 What is your boom?

00:21:59.980 Here I am.

00:22:00.880 Here's where I stand for it.

00:22:01.800 Here's what I'm going to do.

00:22:02.660 Well, look, we need to not only defund, we need to abolish these unconstitutional three-letter 1.00

00:22:08.240 agencies, which are allowing these unelected bureaucrats to run our country behind the scenes. 1.00

00:22:12.780 And we need to return the power back to the states, back to the local communities where 0.89

00:22:15.820 it belongs, where there's actual accountability.

00:22:18.520 I'm not going to vote to be raising taxes.

00:22:20.500 It's time to put America first.

00:22:21.860 Let's stop sending money to other countries.

00:22:23.720 If we have enough money to send to other countries, then we need to lower the taxes and send that

00:22:27.560 money back to the American people.

00:22:29.040 But the one promise I make to the people of West Virginia is I tell them all the time that

00:22:33.300 if there wants someone who's going to go to D.C., sit in a country club, sipping tea, doing

00:22:37.700 absolutely nothing while the left destroys our country, then vote for my opponent because

00:22:40.760 that's what they have right now.

00:22:42.040 I'm running to kick in the front door and expose the corruption in D.C.

00:22:44.960 And I'm running because we need to elect President Trump, but he needs some help in there.

00:22:48.660 I want to stand on the national stage beside of President Trump and beat the drum of freedom,

00:22:52.900 not only for southern West Virginia, but for every single God-fearing conservative across this

00:22:56.980 country.

00:22:57.200 That's what I've been doing.

00:22:58.140 That's what I'll continue to do as a member of Congress.

00:23:02.140 When you go around the district, what are the folks in the district tell you?

00:23:05.720 What are you hearing from them?

00:23:07.600 Well, honestly, most conversations when they find out that I'm the January 6th guy, they

00:23:11.220 say, oh, my God, I didn't know that.

00:23:12.340 I remember that happening to you.

00:23:14.000 That's all I needed to know.

00:23:14.940 I want to vote for you.

00:23:15.840 Or when they find out what our current representative is voting for, they're appalled, honestly.

00:23:20.580 You can't believe it.

00:23:21.660 And once again, we're just picking up votes every single day right now as more people learn

00:23:25.020 about the campaign, when more people learn what she stands for, what she's voted for,

00:23:28.680 and she's on the record for that.

00:23:30.220 But more importantly, I think that the American people and the people of southern West Virginia,

00:23:34.120 they're ready for someone who's going to stand up and actually fight back.

00:23:37.140 We need more people like Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Taylor Greene.

00:23:39.760 We need people like that who's going to stand up and fight back instead of being this milquetoast

00:23:43.900 person who wants to just sing kumbaya with the Democrats as they're destroying our country.

00:23:50.140 How do people find out more about you and more about your campaign, social media, all

00:23:53.460 of it?

00:23:54.540 Yeah, you can follow me on all social media platforms.

00:23:56.900 They're all different names because I've been banned so many times.

00:23:58.760 So just search for my name on there.

00:24:00.440 But you can go to our website.

00:24:01.880 It's Evans, E-V-A-N-S, 4WV.com.

00:24:04.960 W-V is in West Virginia.

00:24:06.480 Evans for W-V.

00:24:07.260 Listen, I tell everyone, this is not my campaign.

00:24:09.700 Truly, this is the campaign of the American people.

00:24:11.620 If you've ever, and I mean this sincerely, if you've ever wanted to send a message to

00:24:15.720 the deep state, here's your chance to do so.

00:24:17.780 Go over there, donate $10, $20, $30 into our campaign.

00:24:21.100 Help us get this thing across the finish line because we sent a message to the deep state

00:24:25.640 by helping elect a former January 6th political prisoner into Congress so we can actually go

00:24:30.980 make some changes.

00:24:33.260 Is the primaries in a couple of weeks, right?

00:24:35.740 When's the primary?

00:24:37.320 Yeah, it's May 14th.

00:24:38.380 So early voting starts less than a month from now.

00:24:40.200 And then May 14th is the actual primary day.

00:24:42.960 And once again, the primary is the race.

00:24:44.460 Whoever wins our primary wins the race.

00:24:47.380 Look, the cool thing about me and my district, number one, it's R plus 23.

00:24:51.140 But furthermore is I don't have to worry about what the federal government might do to me.

00:24:56.380 They can't do anything to me that they haven't already done.

00:24:58.340 I don't have to worry about the fake news media.

00:24:59.860 They can't say anything about me that they haven't already said.

00:25:02.260 I can pin my ears back.

00:25:03.560 I can go have fun with this thing.

00:25:04.700 I don't have to walk around on eggshells, tiptoeing around, being afraid of any of those things.

00:25:09.060 I'm going in there on a mission to save this country.

00:25:12.100 President Trump's going to save our country, and he's going to need some help in the process.

00:25:16.560 What day is debates?

00:25:19.060 When are you going to start debating her?

00:25:21.100 Listen, I would debate her anytime, any place, any platform, any topic.

00:25:25.600 She will probably refuse to do that. 1.00

00:25:27.480 She's refused multiple times to do so, even though we're basically polling even right now in the polls.

00:25:33.260 She does not want to have to answer to all of her terrible votes.

00:25:38.300 She knows I'm the type of person who will call her out on those things.

00:25:41.120 But for the record and for the world to know, I will debate her anytime, any place, any platform, any moderator.

00:25:46.780 Actually, Steve, maybe we should get you to do it.

00:25:48.380 It would be great to do it right here on The War Room.

00:25:51.620 We would volunteer to do that if she would debate you.

00:25:55.180 Anyway, Derek, great to have you on here.

00:25:57.780 We will stay on top of this race and see what turns out.

00:26:00.780 Hey, thank you so much for having me, and thank you to everybody in The War Room, Posse, in the chat.

00:26:04.940 Appreciate you guys.

00:26:07.500 Thank you.

00:26:10.920 Parading and picketing on the biggest manhunt in history.

00:26:15.480 Biggest manhunt in history.

00:26:18.320 That's the way they brag about it.

00:26:19.540 They round up 1,000, they got another 1,000 to go.

00:26:21.940 The January 6th committee should have been reconstituted immediately upon what the 118th Congress is taking place, and they should have reconstituted and given the Democrats all the rights as a minority party that the Republicans have had.

00:26:37.600 They should have had a ranking member, and they should have had a minority council, just like it should have been constituted the first time.

00:26:44.260 And that means you get all the witnesses, you get all the evidence, you get everything.

00:26:50.040 You're able to cross-examine.

00:26:51.420 Do you think Cassie Hutchinson and that crowd have been up there spewing all those lies and misinformation if they had a chance to be cross-examined?

00:27:00.760 Do you think that would have happened?

00:27:02.440 You would have had something actually meaningful.

00:27:04.420 Light came out of the other committees that struck the American people so profoundly over our history.

00:27:11.440 A complete, as we say in the Navy, a complete gun deck.

00:27:15.660 This should have been, and we shouldn't have to be sitting there pleading with people like Johnson and McCarthy and this crowd to do it.

00:27:22.040 What are they hiding?

00:27:24.000 Why didn't this come up?

00:27:24.920 We could have started to put this in back of us, but no, once again, it's going to be President Trump.

00:27:30.400 We're going to have to wait until November and then reconstituted in January.

00:27:32.780 We're going to do that.

00:27:33.980 I understand that the progressive left and the uniparty, the hate, every time we talk about it, we're talking, 2020 was stolen.

00:27:43.540 The catastrophic consequences of the steal are all over us.

00:27:47.800 It's obvious.

00:27:49.140 And we're going to set that right, not just with the victory in November, but actually to start to hold people accountable based upon empirical evidence.

00:28:08.460 True or false?

00:28:09.840 Using your tax refund to pay off credit card debt is a smart thing.

00:28:13.920 Actually, that's false.

00:28:16.000 DoneWithDebt.com published a brilliant strategy designed to let you keep your hard-earned tax refund and reduce or eliminate credit card debt.

00:28:25.360 Most Americans owe thousands in credit card debt.

00:28:27.880 In fact, Daily Mail's got a story that 56 million Americans carry credit card debt, and that debt will take years to pay off, if you pay it off at all.

00:28:38.600 DoneWithDebt found that filing bankruptcy is usually not the answer, and taking out loans to pay off credit cards usually increases the debt.

00:28:47.120 When you engage DoneWithDebt, their legal experts and skilled negotiators take on the credit card companies for you.

00:29:18.900 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:29:22.220 You know, our next guest is going to talk to us about fear and redemption and all that.

00:29:29.280 One thing, we're in tax season.

00:29:30.840 I want to make sure.

00:29:31.620 I know people are freaked out in this economy by two things.

00:29:35.700 One is the credit card debt, and the other is taxes.

00:29:39.080 If you haven't filed properly or the IRS thinks you haven't filed properly or if you're behind you, you haven't filed at all, just like the credit cards, do not let this fear or the anxiety turn into fear and become crippling.

00:29:53.060 And it's just a process.

00:29:54.660 Take a deep breath.

00:29:55.420 It's just a process.

00:29:56.240 That's why go to TaxNetworkUSA.com slash Bannon to get your discount if you decide to sign them up.

00:30:03.940 But have them walk.

00:30:04.800 They have a simple forum.

00:30:05.880 See if you are something that makes sense for them to represent, someone that makes sense to represent.

00:30:10.780 But people that haven't filed or filed incorrectly or have gotten letters from the IRS, remember, those agents they're hiring are not there to go after the wealthy.

00:30:18.420 The wealthy have great tax accountants.

00:30:20.940 They have great tax lawyers, right?

00:30:23.700 They're prepared to fight.

00:30:24.880 They come to fight, and, hey, every one of these rich people, look at their IRS, they're filing as their opening bid, and they're prepared to defend it toughly, very toughly.

00:30:37.020 You don't have that luxury.

00:30:38.560 But make sure you go to TaxNetworkUSA.com today, TNUSA.com, I guess it is, TNUSA.com.

00:30:45.380 Go check it out.

00:30:46.060 Talk to those people first and stop worrying.

00:30:49.600 Nothing to worry about.

00:30:50.420 It's just a process.

00:30:51.180 But get engaged in the process.

00:30:52.300 You can't look away.

00:30:52.860 You can't put it in the drawer and think it's going to go away.

00:30:54.740 It ain't going to go away.

00:30:57.860 The 2020 campaign, talked about that earlier.

00:31:00.420 Look, I'm mad about it.

00:31:01.420 The thing was stolen, no doubt about it.

00:31:03.160 It's obvious.

00:31:04.840 Empirical evidence is overwhelming.

00:31:07.240 So President Trump's on his way to win the third time, and they're going to still try to steal it, so we're going to have to deal with that.

00:31:12.680 We know that.

00:31:13.140 In his second term, Tim Murtaugh was the comms director on the 2020 campaign, worked with our former co-host and great buddy, Jason Miller, who was on the other day.

00:31:25.760 Wrote an incredible book, Swing Hard in Case You Hit It.

00:31:28.280 I noticed this.

00:31:29.800 I'd known Tim for a long time, but I never put two and two together.

00:31:33.460 I was watching.

00:31:34.300 I'm a huge Pittsburgh Pirates fan from when I was a very little kid.

00:31:38.340 Had a teacher in 1960 who was a Pirates fan and let us listen to the World Series on the radio.

00:31:43.440 I think it was in kindergarten, right?

00:31:45.300 I was in kindergarten and became a huge Pirates fan.

00:31:49.900 And I see Murtaugh.

00:31:51.320 I'm watching some.

00:31:51.880 I see Murtaugh.

00:31:52.480 It's Danny Murtaugh's being put into the Hall of Fame for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the great manager.

00:31:57.720 And I see Tim there.

00:31:58.600 I said, man, that guy looks like Danny Murtaugh.

00:32:00.080 And then all of a sudden it dawned on me, hey, he's Danny Murtaugh's son or grandson.

00:32:04.140 Tim Murtaugh joins us.

00:32:06.240 Tell us about your grandfather.

00:32:07.880 By the way, this book's amazing because it talks about the Trump campaign.

00:32:11.060 It also talks about your struggles.

00:32:14.260 But tell me about your grandfather.

00:32:15.760 You come from an extraordinary, you come from one of the great families in this country that have really been central to the national pastime.

00:32:23.320 Talk to us about your grandfather and your dad.

00:32:25.440 Well, thank you very much, Steve.

00:32:27.040 I appreciate that.

00:32:28.060 I know that you and I did talk about this once a long time ago.

00:32:30.920 My grandfather played nine years in the major leagues as a second baseman for the old Boston Braves and the Philadelphia Phillies and a little while for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

00:32:39.260 But he was he was better known as the manager of the Pirates for all or part of 15 seasons between 1957 and 1976.

00:32:48.260 And he won the World Series as the manager of the Pirates twice.

00:32:51.180 The one that you're referencing, 1960, which was one of the most famous World Series ever with Bill Mazeroski hitting a home run in the bottom of the ninth to beat the mighty Yankees in the bottom of the ninth of game seven.

00:33:02.400 It's the only World Series that ever ended on a home run in the bottom of the ninth of game seven.

00:33:05.740 And that one swing got Maz in the Hall of Fame, as a matter of fact.

00:33:09.500 And then he won the World Series again in 1971 over the year.

00:33:12.980 And, you know, there you go.

00:33:13.680 That's me with him when I was about two.

00:33:16.480 That was in 1971, the second World Series year.

00:33:19.620 And probably the best player he ever had was a fellow by the name of Roberto Clemente, who I'm sure you remember well as a Pirates fan.

00:33:27.680 He had Willie Stargell and Mazeroski.

00:33:29.500 Those were the three Hall of Famers that he had.

00:33:31.320 But he was always up against the big market teams and everything, and that was at a time where little markets could compete with the big markets.

00:33:37.480 And I'm afraid it's really not that way anymore.

00:33:39.320 But it was great.

00:33:40.160 It was a great way to grow up as a kid, having Grandpa run the Major League Baseball team.

00:33:44.420 It was really pretty awesome.

00:33:45.760 I'm the oldest of six grandchildren.

00:33:47.400 Now, Roberto Clemente was my hero.

00:33:51.480 And what a great man and a giving man, a great ball player, never bragged, just did his business, Hall of Famer.

00:33:57.280 And then, of course, gave his life down in what a mission about, I think it was an earthquake or something that he gave his life for.

00:34:06.840 Earthquake, giving aid, just one of the great individuals that ever played the game.

00:34:10.440 So two great men.

00:34:11.560 Your dad was also a ball player.

00:34:12.700 But the power of this book, you've had a bumpy road, and what's amazing is you interweave it with the story of the Trump campaign because the issues you had, you don't want to have in a – because these campaigns are pressure cookers.

00:34:26.400 Particularly President Trump never has the money to – it's always thinly staffed, right?

00:34:32.360 So the pressure is on nonstop.

00:34:33.640 Tell us about your story.

00:34:36.940 Well, thank you for this opportunity, Steve.

00:34:38.540 I really appreciate it.

00:34:39.460 The subtitle of the book – and here it is again.

00:34:41.720 You showed the graphic.

00:34:42.480 It's Swing Hard in Case You Hit It.

00:34:43.960 And the subtitle is My Escape from Addiction and Shot at Redemption on the Trump Campaign.

00:34:48.880 And it's really unlike any political book that I would think a lot of your viewers have ever read.

00:34:54.080 It's about politics and mostly the 2020 campaign.

00:34:56.940 But the other half of the book is about my decades-long struggle with alcohol.

00:35:01.300 And it took me a really, really, really long time to get there to be able to kick it.

00:35:05.560 And May 16th, 2015 is my sobriety date.

00:35:10.200 And if you think about the timeline there – so I have an arrest record.

00:35:14.840 I got a couple of DUIs and I have a handful of arrests that are like drunk in public or public intoxication, more minor offenses.

00:35:21.500 But I – so I woke up in jail on that day, my sober date, May 16th, 2015.

00:35:25.900 I had gone out and gotten drunk again.

00:35:27.460 And I went from waking up in jail to flying on Air Force One with President Trump in less than four years.

00:35:33.960 And this is the story that I tell.

00:35:36.680 And I wrote it really for one main reason.

00:35:39.760 I went to rehab a bunch of times, five times inpatient rehab and one time outpatient rehab.

00:35:45.160 And every time I was there, I went to the bookstore and I would just devour all the titles that were more autobiographical in nature where there were people telling their own stories about everything that they went through as alcoholics or drug addicts and how they made it through.

00:35:58.380 And those books really helped me while I was in there and while I was really struggling.

00:36:01.760 And so when I finally managed to try and for alcohol, I decided I wanted to write a book like that.

00:36:08.660 And the thing is if an alcoholic who is still struggling picks up my book and just flips through it for like 10 minutes and in that time doesn't drink, doesn't pick up a drink for that period of 10 minutes, then it was worth writing.

00:36:22.160 And that will mean a lot to me.

00:36:23.900 And a lot of people have – I find out that the problem of substance abuse and addiction is pretty much universal.

00:36:31.760 As far as I can tell, because everyone I have talked to since this book came out and just came out on Tuesday, but everyone I have talked to has said that either they or someone in their family has had a problem.

00:36:42.420 Tim, what about – what was the cathartic moment?

00:36:44.680 I mean you woke up in jail, but it's not the first time you've been in jail, not the first time you've been drunk.

00:36:49.340 What was it about that morning?

00:36:50.880 What was it about that time waking up that was different that led you to the path of sobriety?

00:36:56.380 Yeah, that's a pretty insightful question because it wasn't the first time.

00:36:59.820 What was different about it was at that time I was on probation for my second of two DUIs, and I had served 10 days in jail for that second DUI, but I still had 80 days of suspended time hanging over my head.

00:37:14.080 My sentence was 90 days.

00:37:15.240 I served 10, 80 days suspended, and I was on probation for three years.

00:37:19.200 If I screwed up alcohol-related in that three-year period of being on probation, I was going to have to go back and serve the 80 days.

00:37:25.640 So one day, May 16, 2015, as it turns out, I was still on probation.

00:37:30.220 I went out and got drunk, and like happened a number of times before, I got arrested.

00:37:34.540 And when I – I say I woke up in jail.

00:37:36.380 Actually, what I did was I came to in jail because that's basically – that's what I did in those days.

00:37:40.640 I sort of just opened my eyes, and there I was.

00:37:43.240 I wasn't sleeping.

00:37:44.020 I was passed out.

00:37:45.360 And I realized, oh, man, am I in trouble now?

00:37:47.440 If I get convicted of this one, I'm going to jail for those 80 days.

00:37:50.320 And at the time, I was working for Lou Barletta in Pennsylvania on Capitol Hill, a congressman from Pennsylvania.

00:37:55.900 I was going to lose my job.

00:37:57.400 You can't go to jail for three months and keep your job.

00:37:59.360 So I was going to lose that job.

00:38:00.520 And forget about the job.

00:38:01.380 I was going to lose my career.

00:38:02.880 I was newly married.

00:38:04.120 I was probably going to lose my wife.

00:38:05.420 My family was about to fit up with me.

00:38:07.520 And so I got some really great advice.

00:38:09.640 I went and I did about 100 hours of volunteer work at an animal shelter.

00:38:13.480 I had the ignition interlock device put on my car.

00:38:16.400 I went to rehab yet again to an outpatient program.

00:38:19.400 I went to, I don't know, 100 AA meetings and got someone to sign a slip.

00:38:24.740 And I went to court and, you know, working with my lawyer and the prosecutor, I said, look, I'm really serious.

00:38:28.920 I'm up against it here.

00:38:29.800 I can't do this anymore.

00:38:31.220 And they agreed not to prosecute on that drunken public charge.

00:38:34.260 And so I didn't violate probation.

00:38:36.380 And that was it.

00:38:37.520 That was the last day.

00:38:38.420 I never had another drink.

00:38:39.360 I mean, what did it for me finally?

00:38:40.980 It wasn't six times in rehab.

00:38:42.340 It was fear.

00:38:43.240 You were just talking about fear.

00:38:44.580 I was scared.

00:38:45.300 I was going to lose everything, professionally and personally.

00:38:48.060 If I didn't stop right that minute.

00:38:50.580 And so that's what I did.

00:38:52.020 Not everybody's story is the same.

00:38:53.600 This is not a how-to manual.

00:38:55.260 This will not teach you how to get sober.

00:38:57.000 It's just my story.

00:38:58.280 And people can maybe find some elements in it that relate to their own lives.

00:39:03.440 These – 16 was a pressure cooker, the 16 campaign.

00:39:06.560 20, I think, might have been even more of a pressure cooker given everything that was happening around the country, the color revolution, which we're going to talk about next hour in Israel.

00:39:20.160 The color revolution was going on, the hatred of President Trump, the pandemic.

00:39:24.320 How did – with all that pressure, how did you sit there and go, man – particularly with the Trump campaign, how it was going.

00:39:30.060 How did you sit there and say, man, I need a good stiff drink?

00:39:33.800 You know, it's – just to sort of make light about it.

00:39:37.000 Like I would say, boy, back when I was drinking, man, this would be one of those days, boy.

00:39:41.120 And, you know, it's like people have different tools and different things that they can use and lean on if it gets to be a problem.

00:39:48.720 Like, you know, Washington, D.C. is a drinking town.

00:39:51.080 There are tons and tons of people who drink a lot and there's receptions all over the place, right?

00:39:56.880 And I just develop a line.

00:39:58.260 Everybody has something like this that they can fall back on, in alcoholics, that is.

00:40:02.300 And if somebody offers me a drink and they're more persistent about it and say, oh, no, no, really, take one, I'll just say, man, they don't – there's not enough alcohol here for me.

00:40:10.000 You know, if I get started, you guys will run out.

00:40:12.360 And, you know, so that won't be good for anybody, so I better not.

00:40:15.220 So I don't know.

00:40:15.720 I just use little mechanisms by that.

00:40:16.940 But the Trump campaign, you know, I was – had been – by 2020, it had been almost – it had been five years since I had taken my last drink, if I'm doing the math correctly.

00:40:25.400 So May 2015 to 2020.

00:40:28.980 And, you know, it just is one of those – I was able to be able to say fear is what got me off of it in the first place.

00:40:35.360 But then I was able to just say, like, if I walk past a tray of donuts, you know, I'm not going to just grab a donut.

00:40:40.560 That's not one – I don't do that.

00:40:42.040 That's not me.

00:40:42.640 I don't just grab a donut and eat it.

00:40:44.280 And I was able to develop the same sort of reflexive response to drinking.

00:40:48.540 Like, that's just not what I do.

00:40:49.980 I don't do that.

00:40:50.580 I used to do that.

00:40:51.460 And, you know, I guess I had my fun and I didn't need to go back.

00:40:55.380 I tell you, I know how awful life was.

00:40:57.480 I know how awful life was.

00:40:58.660 I went to jail enough times.

00:41:01.360 I didn't need to do it again.

00:41:03.100 So that was – that's what did it for me.

00:41:05.300 You know, President Trump – President Trump, it's known that he doesn't drink.

00:41:08.800 But one of the great tragedies, his brother who he loved had a drinking problem.

00:41:12.900 And he'll tell you, he saw it up close and personal.

00:41:15.880 It's one of the reasons he's never had a drink.

00:41:17.360 It's just – it's very powerful to have a great person.

00:41:19.540 Yeah, and I got to tell you, I appreciate the president.

00:41:22.020 Go ahead.

00:41:22.880 I appreciate it.

00:41:23.620 I told everybody in advance – of course, I told everybody in advance about my problems in the past.

00:41:29.000 And because there were people shopping around my arrest record to the media, thank God we tried to keep those stories out of the paper.

00:41:35.280 And we were able to do that.

00:41:36.640 The media didn't write it.

00:41:37.440 They agreed that it was in the past.

00:41:39.160 But people were trying to use it against me.

00:41:40.600 And I told the president and his team about my history before I got hired.

00:41:45.360 And, you know, the word came back.

00:41:47.340 You know, the president loves a good comeback story.

00:41:49.020 He loves a good redemption story.

00:41:50.500 And the word about his brother, he blames alcohol for the death of his brother, which undoubtedly is true. 0.97

00:41:55.520 And I'm very grateful for President Trump to give me the chance to do that.

00:41:59.200 And it's all in this book.

00:42:00.800 You know, if you're looking for – if people are in the media thinking this is a tell-all, one of the other Bash Trump books, no way.

00:42:06.660 And working for President Trump on the 2020 campaign is the highlight of my professional career.

00:42:11.060 And it will always be that.

00:42:12.320 And I'm grateful for the opportunity.

00:42:15.460 Where do they get the book and where do they track you down?

00:42:17.840 Where do they find you?

00:42:19.300 You can find me on Twitter at Tim Murtaugh.

00:42:22.000 And the book is available anywhere you can find books.

00:42:24.840 Amazon.com is where I would direct people.

00:42:27.100 Just search for my name, Tim Murtaugh, or the title, Swing Hard, in case you hit it.

00:42:30.620 Even if you type Swing Hard, it'll pop up.

00:42:32.400 But it's also available at Barnes & Noble and Target and Walmart and anywhere you can find books.

00:42:37.580 It's out in hardback and also Kindle is available as well.

00:42:41.140 I really appreciate the opportunity.

00:42:42.520 Swing Hard, in case you hit it, Steve.

00:42:44.340 Tim, you're a good man and your grandfather is one of the greatest ever in the great sport of baseball.

00:42:53.200 So thank you so much for coming on.

00:42:55.020 Kind word, Steve.

00:42:55.920 Thank you very much.

00:42:58.840 President Trump, how about that?

00:43:00.220 I love a comeback story.

00:43:01.580 What a classy guy.

00:43:03.100 Absolutely classy.

00:43:03.880 How many politicians would do that? 0.87

00:43:05.920 Most of them say, no, no, get that guy out of here.

00:43:07.340 We're going to get some bad publicity.

00:43:08.920 We're going to get a bad media day.

00:43:12.000 President Trump's a honey badger.

00:43:13.680 He doesn't give a hoot.

00:43:16.440 Short break.

00:45:09.720 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.

00:45:12.300 Okay, welcome back.

00:45:17.000 Next hour, Yoram Hazani is going to join us from Jerusalem, and we're going to talk about

00:45:22.500 this expanding war, the metastasizing war in the Middle East not being covered appropriately.

00:45:28.480 And I don't even think we're doing a good job.

00:45:29.900 I'm trying to do better.

00:45:31.280 We're going to have him on because right now, tactically, the Israelis are winning, right? 1.00

00:45:38.040 Tactically.

00:45:38.480 But strategically, I don't think so.

00:45:40.860 And I think this thing is getting darker every day.

00:45:43.880 The Persians are on the march over there. 0.99

00:45:46.360 We have to understand that if there was no Israel, there was no Israel. 0.94

00:45:51.100 No Israel, no Jews in the Middle East. 1.00

00:45:53.380 The mullahs in Persia, because that's what is Persia.

00:45:57.940 Stop calling it Iran.

00:45:58.840 It's Persia. 0.91

00:45:59.560 It's the ancient enemy of the West from time immemorial. 0.86

00:46:03.420 They hate the United States of America.

00:46:08.040 We're not looking for a fight over there.

00:46:10.740 Like I said, I was a young man, I was a young naval officer.

00:46:13.260 I was in the North Arabian Sea.

00:46:14.300 Why?

00:46:14.640 I was a Grundy, I was an ensign, or I was a JG on a destroyer because we were over there

00:46:19.240 for the Iranian hostage crisis.

00:46:20.560 We didn't ask for that, right?

00:46:23.080 There was the 444 days of captivity before President Reagan, another strong leader,

00:46:28.400 came onto the scene.

00:46:29.240 This thing in the Middle East is bad. 1.00

00:46:31.920 We're going to get Yoram on here.

00:46:32.900 And one of the things you see, and this is what they did with President Trump in 2020,

00:46:35.940 the color revolution.

00:46:37.500 Darren Beattie, Raheem Kassam have done a magnificent job of laying out what a color revolution

00:46:42.180 is and how it was pulled on us, on MAGA, and on President Trump in 2020.

00:46:46.760 Remember the Summer of Love?

00:46:48.480 Remember it started up in Minnesota, but in Minneapolis, the Summer of Love, remember that?

00:46:53.620 That was all part of a color revolution, to drive President Trump from office, 0.95

00:46:57.640 not the incident itself, but the way that that was manipulated and other things that were

00:47:03.160 done to drive President Trump from office, to steal the 2020 election.

00:47:07.700 And yes, they stole it.

00:47:10.940 Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences, and you can see it already.

00:47:14.480 They're not even running on their record.

00:47:16.640 They don't even want to talk about their record.

00:47:17.900 They don't want to talk about Bidenomics.

00:47:19.080 They banned that.

00:47:19.840 They've even banned that phrase on their own side from being used.

00:47:23.700 And Mark Elias is all panicked now, is all worried.

00:47:26.120 Katie, Nicole Wallace, look at her every day.

00:47:29.720 The tension and pressure, because they know they're losing.

00:47:32.460 They know they're losing.

00:47:33.620 You add in the third party candidates, they're getting desperate, because they understand

00:47:36.860 Bobby Kennedy, probably 75% or 80% of the votes he pulls, maybe even higher, are all Democrats.

00:47:43.560 You throw in Dr. Cornel West, you throw in Jill Stein at the Green Party.

00:47:47.160 They're losing.

00:47:48.020 They're losing, and they know they're losing.

00:47:49.360 And that means they're more dangerous than ever.

00:47:53.040 They're more dangerous than ever.

00:47:55.340 You corner an animal.

00:47:57.360 You corner an animal.

00:47:58.240 That's when it gets dangerous.

00:48:00.460 I'm not calling them animals.

00:48:02.160 They're like animals, and they're dangerous.

00:48:05.020 And the closer they get to defeat on Election Day, oh, remember, we're the big anti-democracy

00:48:09.920 party, except we understand that democracy is made about certifiable chain of custody votes 0.99

00:48:17.980 from American citizens, not the crap they do. 0.98

00:48:22.780 Mike Lindell, you've done more than anybody in this country to stand up for. 0.99

00:48:26.320 They've tried to bankrupt you.

00:48:27.280 They've tried to fire your employees.

00:48:28.400 They've tried every way.

00:48:29.260 The IRS, they've cut you off all of big box, Walmart.

00:48:34.520 The guys at Walmart are the most Darwinian when it comes to every—when you're in a Walmart,

00:48:41.300 every square inch, they analyze for return on investment, on operating income.

00:48:47.760 Every inch, they're moving stuff around.

00:48:50.040 That is the most analytical company in retail, I think, in the world.

00:48:54.360 The MyPillow, Lumpy Pillows, were the most profitable line they ever had, and they tossed

00:49:00.260 him.

00:49:00.960 They tossed him. 0.85

00:49:01.820 And that was in Walmart's history.

00:49:04.080 What does that tell you?

00:49:05.120 Yeah.

00:49:05.680 The number one buy-through in Walmart history was MyPillow, and they got rid of us.

00:49:11.100 And that was their number one $60 buy-through in history, and their number one $50 buy-through.

00:49:16.940 You've got to realize we've sold right around 84 million MyPillows now.

00:49:21.820 And all these box stores in the country, it was their number one seller.

00:49:25.940 All the shopping channels, the QVCs of the world, their number one product ever.

00:49:30.180 But they chose to cancel MyPillow because their CEO wanted to secure our elections and get

00:49:37.440 to paper ballots hand-counted and knew something was wrong in the 2020 election, and I never

00:49:42.440 stopped talking about it.

00:49:44.480 Well, their loss is War Room Posse's gain.

00:49:50.100 As you see, it's been a great day for me at MyPillow.

00:49:53.180 I flew in, all of our new products just came in, ships came in.

00:49:57.940 Here's the, by the way, here's the bathrobe I'm wearing, you guys.

00:50:00.700 Those are the $39 out-open box ones.

00:50:03.760 These are $100 and some dollars, $39 for the War Room Posse.

00:50:07.080 But here's the special of the day, everybody.

00:50:09.800 These, all the slides came in, these slides and sandals.

00:50:14.680 And all these that came in, we got, I don't know, upwards of, I think, 50,000 of them.

00:50:21.820 And these are made with the impact gel, which is a proprietary, I think it's actually patented.

00:50:28.320 It's an impact gel made out of soybeans.

00:50:30.820 You wear these sandals, it's like walking on a cloud.

00:50:33.960 Well, they ship the wrong color, one of the wrong colors.

00:50:37.960 So we have the white ones, the factory, they're going to let us liquidate them to the War Room Posse for $9.50 a pair.

00:50:46.440 Okay?

00:50:46.960 Only the white, $9.50 a pair.

00:50:49.340 There's no limit.

00:50:50.520 When they're gone, they're gone.

00:50:52.080 This is to the War Room Posse exclusive.

00:50:54.860 You guys take advantage.

00:50:56.120 You've never walked.

00:50:57.400 Hold it, hold it, hold it, hold it.

00:50:59.800 What's the matter with the white slide?

00:51:02.480 We may even wear them around here in the War Room.

00:51:04.760 No, no, there's nothing wrong with them.

00:51:06.880 But we've got, they shipped us all the different colors, but we've got three times more white than we have with the color we wanted, which was great.

00:51:15.640 So we have, it's just where, this is like an overstock sale.

00:51:18.940 We want to sell them equally.

00:51:20.120 So they've allotted, I believe it's a little over 10,000 of them, that they said we'll sell them up and we'll, so we equal out the colors again.

00:51:29.220 And because I called, I said, hey, we're kind of lopsided here on colors.

00:51:33.780 But yeah, no, people will love it.

00:51:35.840 And I'll tell you, there's no more comfortable sandal than the MyPillow sandals.

00:51:41.040 So the other ones are all on sale for $25.

00:51:43.900 We're going to clear out the white ones to bring them down to the levels of the other ones for $9.50. 0.55

00:51:49.080 And you guys, we have, also we have the, you guys take advantage of that $25 sale.

00:51:55.280 If you go to the website, you're going to see the last of the robes there.

00:51:58.780 And there's the six-piece towel sets, $25 for the six-piece towel sets.

00:52:04.840 Lowest price in history.

00:52:06.220 Here's the one you guys have all been buying, the $25 premium MyPillows.

00:52:10.780 That's the one we were just talking about with Walmart, with their number one product in history of the MyPillow.

00:52:16.480 $25 king or queen, everybody.

00:52:19.140 Remember, this is Walmart's $60 price.

00:52:22.440 They were $60 in Walmart.

00:52:24.420 Here, they're $25 to you.

00:52:26.480 Like I say, their losses, you guys gain.

00:52:29.200 Two of the MyPillows.

00:52:30.320 Don't forget the Roll and Go Anywhere pillows.

00:52:34.240 Two for $25, everybody.

00:53:06.840 Back in a moment in the war room.

00:53:08.760 I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money and our bank accounts.

00:53:14.320 First, think back to 9-11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.

00:53:18.820 This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet.

00:53:26.320 Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.

00:53:40.020 In fact, some of the guests I've had on the war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move.

00:53:48.020 If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.

00:53:58.140 I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.

00:54:04.340 Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.

00:54:16.140 Watch Jim's warning video now, before it's censored like I've been in the past.
