Summary

Jury selection has begun in Donald Trump's trial, and it's a major moment in American history as a former president stands trial for the first time ever on a criminal charge of conspiracy to obstruct justice. Alex Blumberg and Peter Bergen talk about the importance of jury selection and why this is such a momentous occasion.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 It does feel like this trial will, in some ways, maybe be the trial of the 21st century.
00:00:05.100 It's the only one that's going to probably go to trial for Trump before the election.
00:00:08.900 How much of a spectacle do you think it will be?
00:00:10.960 I think it'll be a big spectacle, just the fact that it's Donald Trump.
00:00:14.340 Now, the first two weeks, two and a half weeks, are going to be boring because it's jury selection.
00:00:19.700 So no witness is going to be called.
00:00:21.440 Well, I'm saying it's boring, but of course, Donald Trump is going to take every opportunity he can
00:00:25.640 and every break and after the cases over for the day, walk out and talk.
00:00:30.000 But it's basically going to be like watching paint dry in that it's jury selection,
00:00:34.020 which is, I think, trial lawyers will tell you is the most important thing.
00:00:37.080 It is the most important thing. You win at jury selection.
00:00:39.200 So it's very important, but it's not exciting.
00:00:41.900 It's not going to be Stormy Daniels or Michael Cohen on this thing.
00:00:44.360 Well, it's not exciting to most, but I'm an nerd. It is exciting to me.
00:00:47.000 Because I do believe voir dire and jury selection is the most important thing.
00:00:50.280 Because for Trump, I anticipate he's going to try to do things like have his lawyers exclude anybody black.
00:00:57.260 Right. He's going to try to get them to include people who love MAGA, people who watch The Apprentice.
00:01:03.800 Like, what are the kind of questions you think that his lawyers will try to ask to try to get him an ideal jury?
00:01:08.480 Well, they won't, because then, remember, the prosecutor and the defense can strike people and don't have to give reason.
00:01:16.000 They have 10 each. It's called peremptory challenges.
00:01:18.020 Right.
00:01:18.640 So, and you can also challenge people for cause.
00:01:21.780 So, clearly, someone who's like, I'm a MAGA, you know, you can exclude them for that.
00:01:26.460 You can exclude them.
00:01:27.260 Donald Trump is inside that Manhattan courthouse right now as the first criminal trial with a former president is about to begin jury selection specifically is about to begin today.
00:01:39.760 And Donald Trump is in there now.
00:01:41.640 He's been posting angrily since before six o'clock this morning on his truth social website about how unfair this is and how this is election interference, interference into his election and how the gag order that he caused for himself should be lifted.
00:01:58.540 Want to read from The New York Times just sort of analysis of this, which is kind of stark with jury selection starting right now.
00:02:06.500 Mr. Trump will become the first former U.S. president to stand trial on criminal charges, win or lose.
00:02:13.800 He will be the first presidential candidate whose political fate, before being decided by millions of voters, will be shaped by 12 people in a jury box.
00:02:26.140 And that's how important this jury selection is.
00:02:29.640 Of course, there will be a lot of issues made on by both sides, probably in picking these jurors.
00:02:35.840 There are specific boundaries and specific questions that they have to answer.
00:02:40.020 And we're told up to six thousand people.
00:02:42.520 There are other cases also needing juries in this court courthouse, but there are six thousand potential jurors ready to go to be assessed.
00:02:51.620 Obviously, this is a major moment in history.
00:02:53.860 This has never happened before.
00:02:55.080 And I'd love to hear more about that.
00:02:56.480 But also, given recent history, I mean, recent history with President Trump and post-President Trump and January 6th and the way he's treating the people who are in jail right now for the insurrection at the Capitol, the way he's whitewashing what happened and getting other Republicans to do so.
00:03:16.160 Can you also talk about how Trump could and is already using this to foment, foment ambiguity and anger in this country?
00:03:28.600 Yeah. In one of his first public speeches, Abraham Lincoln said that if the American Republic were ever to fall, it would not fall to a foreign foe.
00:03:36.240 It would fall to a tyrant who rose among us.
00:03:41.580 And I think that's essentially where we are.
00:03:45.540 You're exactly right.
00:03:46.700 What's happening, what's unfolding in Manhattan today is part of a larger story about Donald Trump, his behavior, his view of whether or not American democracy exists for the good of the country or for the good of Donald Trump.
00:04:03.380 And I know that's not what the jury is deciding, but there are lots of juries here, right?
00:04:09.260 There's a national jury.
00:04:11.020 There's the jury in the courtroom.
00:04:12.300 And ultimately, you have this trial, you have the Supreme Court preparing to hear arguments on Trump's really wild claim that presidents are totally immune from anything, as if we are creating this sort of superhero who has immunity for all things, which is totally contrary to the rule of law.
00:04:36.320 And as you say, an attempt to basically run a coup d'etat four years ago, three and a half years ago, to overturn an election that was adjudicated again and again, often by judges appointed by Republicans.
00:04:52.780 So in the broadest sense, what's on trial is fact, is truth.
00:05:02.040 And then the second thing that's on trial, which is vital, is half the country has essentially decided that whatever Donald Trump does is fine because of X, Y or Z, whatever that reason is.
00:05:19.600 That's right. There are there is a strong base.
00:05:23.440 Then there are his enablers who think that they're going to have lower taxes and more conservative judges.
00:05:29.980 And it doesn't matter that he's trying to rip up the Constitution.
00:05:34.540 That's a decision that a lot of folks have made.
00:05:37.240 The question is going to be, as we head into this presidential election, is will a sufficient number of those people stand by Donald Trump, come what may, including a felony conviction, including possibly convictions, certainly trials about overturning an election that he just didn't like?
00:05:58.160 Right. That's on trial. So truth and democracy are on trial this year.
00:06:04.520 And I don't it's it's it's I have no pleasure in saying this.
00:06:08.260 I'm not trying to I'm not being hyperbolic.
00:06:10.320 You know, this this isn't like history nerd sweepstakes.
00:06:13.960 You know, it's not that this is the fact of the matter.
00:06:17.260 And American democracy, in many ways, is being tested here.
00:06:21.120 The assault on America, nothing like this has ever happened before.
00:06:26.740 There's never been anything like it.
00:06:28.300 Every legal scholar said this case is nonsense.
00:06:32.320 It should never have been brought.
00:06:34.180 It doesn't deserve anything like this.
00:06:36.840 There is no case.
00:06:38.040 And they've said that people that don't necessarily follow or like Donald Trump said this is an outrage that this case was brought.
00:06:45.240 So this is political persecution.
00:06:47.740 This is a persecution like never before.
00:06:50.080 Nobody's ever seen anything like it.
00:06:52.720 And again, it's a case that should have never been brought.
00:06:56.480 It's an assault on America.
00:06:59.180 And that's why I'm very proud to be here.
00:07:01.120 This is an assault on our country.
00:07:03.500 And it's a country that's failing.
00:07:06.100 It's a country that's run by an incompetent man who's very much involved in this case.
00:07:10.560 This is really an attack on a political opponent.
00:07:14.060 That's all it is.
00:07:15.240 So I'm very honored to be here.
00:07:17.020 Thank you very much.
00:07:20.460 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:07:25.340 Pray for our enemies.
00:07:27.300 Because we're going medieval on these people.
00:07:30.600 I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people.
00:07:34.860 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:07:36.760 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:07:37.940 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that.
00:07:39.960 But you're not going to stop it.
00:07:40.900 It's going to happen.
00:07:41.940 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:07:45.480 Mega media.
00:07:46.900 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:07:52.040 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:07:55.480 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:08:02.440 War Room.
00:08:03.300 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:08:05.280 It's Monday, the 15th of April, in the year of our Lord, 2024.
00:08:15.680 It is the, thank you, Denver.
00:08:17.560 It is the 159th anniversary of the assassination of President Lincoln.
00:08:24.440 It is tax day.
00:08:26.380 The Israeli War Cabinet meets, even as we speak, to discuss and debate their response to the attack by the Persians over the weekend.
00:08:34.800 The FBI has opened a criminal investigation, as we told you they would, into the vessel that hit the Francis Scott Key Bridge.
00:08:44.020 More on that later also.
00:08:46.300 Scotty Scheffler wins the Masters and says his victory was secured by the cross.
00:08:51.900 Folks know that Scotty Scheffler is a very devout Christian.
00:08:57.420 The assassination of President Lincoln 159 years ago and the political assassination of President Trump starts today.
00:09:04.880 We've crossed the Rubicon.
00:09:06.860 The lawfare apparatus now has President Trump actually in a courtroom.
00:09:10.940 We have wall-to-wall coverage.
00:09:12.800 Andrew Giuliani, Mike Davis, David Zier, the whole Real America Voice team.
00:09:18.140 And, of course, Laura Loomer.
00:09:19.760 She's already been in the face of CNN.
00:09:22.460 And let's play a short clip and we'll bring Laura Loomer live from lower Manhattan.
00:09:26.300 The other day you had a retired U.S. federal judge on your show and you were asking her about the motion that was filed by President Trump and his legal team about whether or not Judge Marchand should recuse himself, right, over his daughter's conflicts of interest.
00:09:43.700 What do you think about that?
00:09:44.600 I saw that the judge actually said that the motion was pretty strong, but you didn't really have much to say.
00:09:49.560 We had her on the show, didn't we?
00:09:51.460 Yeah, but you didn't really have much to say when she said it was strong.
00:09:54.080 Do you think that Judge Marchand should recuse himself?
00:09:57.440 Does he want to answer the question?
00:10:01.760 No?
00:10:03.160 All right.
00:10:04.940 All right, well, as you can see, that's Caitlin Collins from CNN.
00:10:08.300 She's one of the biggest Trump haters out there and she doesn't want to answer the question.
00:10:11.680 Laura Loomer, you're live from lower Manhattan.
00:10:16.440 Why won't Caitlin Collins answer?
00:10:18.120 She runs her mouth all the time on CNN.
00:10:19.760 Why won't she ask a couple of very straightforward questions from you, man?
00:10:25.620 Look, Steve, no one wants to get Loomered, right?
00:10:28.140 As President Trump said at Mar-a-Lago last week.
00:10:31.140 And it's true.
00:10:31.640 Look, Caitlin Collins and all these fake news media frauds, they love running their mouth.
00:10:36.220 They want to say, oh, we got to get Trump.
00:10:37.880 Trump is bad.
00:10:38.520 Trump's guilty.
00:10:39.040 They say all of these nasty, terrible things about President Trump.
00:10:42.600 But then when you catch up to them, like I did with Caitlin Collins from CNN this morning,
00:10:46.760 probably one of the biggest Trump-hating mouthpieces for the left-wing media, she has nothing to say.
00:10:52.300 When I said my name, you see the smile on her face quickly dissipated and then she ran away.
00:10:57.840 But look, she had the former U.S. federal judge for the Southern District of New York.
00:11:04.980 I reposted the video on my Twitter for people that want to watch it this morning.
00:11:08.880 I believe the judge's name was Shira Scheindler.
00:11:12.220 And she even said, you know, Caitlin Collins went into this interview thinking that she was going to ask this judge,
00:11:17.400 probably thinking she was a Democrat, to say, oh, well, what do you think?
00:11:20.700 Do you think that the motion for recusal of Judge Mershon is strong?
00:11:24.820 And when the judge on CNN said it was strong, Caitlin, of course, had what we like to call RBF.
00:11:31.260 You can look it up, right?
00:11:32.540 But she wasn't too happy.
00:11:35.040 And that's the problem here.
00:11:36.520 Look, we're out here today and there's probably more media than there are protesters.
00:11:41.880 And why do I point that out?
00:11:43.160 Well, it's not a testament to a lack of support.
00:11:46.420 There's plenty of people here to support President Trump today.
00:11:48.980 But it goes to show you that the media thrives on chaos.
00:11:52.240 The media thrives on dividing our country.
00:11:54.660 The media thrives on their get Trump, anti-Trump narrative.
00:11:58.700 And from this edge right here, all the way down the block, OK, all the way down the block to the end corner of the courthouse,
00:12:06.140 our media tent set up.
00:12:07.340 I mean, there's got to probably be at least, I would say, 500 members of the media here.
00:12:11.780 And that's no exaggeration.
00:12:16.020 Laura, but how much how much conservative how much MAGA media is there?
00:12:19.640 What is the coverage and support of President Trump from people that are on our side of the football?
00:12:24.680 I've noticed a real lack.
00:12:25.680 I mean, you've been on it, Mike Davis, been on it.
00:12:27.480 Both of you are working with us.
00:12:28.300 But I've noticed a real lack of focus on this trial in particular.
00:12:31.980 Well, Real America's Voice is here.
00:12:37.920 I saw Right Side Broadcasting is here.
00:12:41.340 I believe Newsmax is here as well.
00:12:43.620 There's a lot of independent journalists.
00:12:45.360 There's also a lot of really great citizen journalists who have large YouTube followings,
00:12:49.960 Rumble followings and social media followings who are here.
00:12:53.320 You can see.
00:12:53.960 I mean, look, just we'll pan the camera.
00:12:55.540 We have Savannah Hernandez here as well.
00:12:57.120 So there are members of the media here, independent journalists that understand that this is an
00:13:02.880 abomination.
00:13:03.780 This is a bastardization of our justice system.
00:13:07.220 We've got the we got the the Trump train rolling up right now, too.
00:13:11.060 Woo.
00:13:15.380 All right, everyone.
00:13:17.120 Say it with me.
00:13:18.320 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:19.720 We got some Donald Trump.
00:13:20.920 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:22.900 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:25.100 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:27.780 So we got a lot of people here.
00:13:30.180 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:32.560 Donald Trump did nothing wrong.
00:13:34.080 So look at all these people here, Steve, with their cell phones out.
00:13:37.800 And I believe that it was I believe that it was Andrew Breitbart who said that all you need
00:13:42.540 is this.
00:13:43.180 You just need your phone.
00:13:44.640 And we're creating a sea of media, a sea of media holding the media accountable.
00:13:48.640 And we are out here as activists, as independent journalists.
00:13:52.460 And we are here to tell the media that we stand with President Trump.
00:13:55.960 We are against this weaponized justice that is tearing our country apart.
00:13:59.920 This banana republic, two tiered justice system, Steve.
00:14:05.760 Laura, hang on.
00:14:06.780 We're going to come right back to you.
00:14:07.720 We'll take a short commercial break.
00:14:08.920 As Andrew Breitbart predicted, it is the citizen journalists that have been the backbone, the
00:14:15.040 backbone of this movement.
00:14:16.080 They have President Trump's back.
00:14:17.660 Lower Manhattan today.
00:14:18.660 A kangaroo court starts.
00:14:20.780 We've crossed the Rubicon.
00:14:22.540 Lawfare is no longer something theoretical.
00:14:24.720 It's not just for pundits to debate on cable television.
00:14:27.900 It's very real.
00:14:28.780 It's very real in the Lower Manhattan courtroom.
00:14:30.800 We have Laura Loomer.
00:14:32.080 We have Andrew Giuliani.
00:14:34.160 Mike Davis is going to lay it all out for us.
00:14:36.160 We're wall-to-wall coverage on the trial of the century, the 21st century, the trial
00:14:41.740 of Donald J. Trump.
00:14:43.420 Lawfare comes to America.
00:14:45.700 Short commercial break.
00:14:46.760 We're going to return to Lower Manhattan in the war room.
00:14:50.820 Real America's voice in a moment.
00:14:54.460 The so-called financial experts thought we were in the clear.
00:15:02.580 They were anticipating around six rate cuts by the Fed this year, and then the inflation
00:15:07.540 data came out, higher than expected.
00:15:09.880 Friends, this isn't going away.
00:15:12.620 It can't.
00:15:13.780 The U.S. is $34 trillion plus in the hole, and yet we keep printing money, which pushes
00:15:19.880 the prices you pay every day even higher.
00:15:23.740 So you can either bury your head in the sand, or you can do something about it.

00:16:05.960 Do it today.
00:16:06.860 Action, action, action.
00:16:09.160 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:16:11.140 Bannon.
00:16:11.480 Okay, welcome back.
00:16:16.080 With all the turbulence in the world, including what's happened in the Middle East, we're
00:16:19.760 going to get to all that here a little later in the show.
00:16:22.760 So, now's the time, more than ever, Birch Gold.
00:16:26.680 You heard Philip Patrick on the show over the weekend.
00:16:28.820 We did coup d'etat, the takeout of John F. Kennedy, the takeout of Richard Nixon, and
00:16:33.640 the proposed working-on-it takeout of Donald John Trump.
00:16:38.220 In a time of turbulence, you need a hedge for your financial future.
00:16:42.360 Gold has been that hedge for 8,000 years of Man's recorded history.
00:16:45.680 Birchgold.com slash Bannon.
00:16:48.540 Go talk to Philip Patrick and the team at Birch Gold.
00:16:51.720 Do not delay.
00:16:53.660 Do that today.
00:16:55.080 We're going to go to Lower Manhattan, Andrew Giuliani.
00:16:57.200 Andrew, you know the court system.
00:16:59.180 You know Manhattan.
00:17:00.220 You know how rigged the Democrats have this, have the greatest city in the world.
00:17:05.360 Set the table for me.
00:17:06.380 What are we seeing today in this kangaroo court that is after, to try to defeat President,
00:17:13.440 they can't beat him at the polls.
00:17:14.600 They can only either steal it or use lawfare.
00:17:17.240 Talk to me about what's going on in this courtroom today.
00:17:21.660 Yeah, Steve, you've laid it out so well.
00:17:23.820 This is the political persecution of the lead candidate for president.
00:17:27.780 Very sad day in the history of our country on the anniversary of Lincoln's death.
00:17:32.560 This is the first time we're going to see a former president and lead candidate standing
00:17:37.040 trial here at a criminal trial.
00:17:39.300 And to me, the next few weeks with this jury selection process is going to be so key.
00:17:44.600 And so important because the truth is you just need a couple of unbiased members in there
00:17:49.720 that are going to look at the facts of this case.
00:17:51.980 If you get that and they look at the facts of this case, they'll realize this case never
00:17:56.080 should have even been brought.
00:17:57.460 And Donald J. Trump should be acquitted.
00:18:00.100 Think about this, Steve.
00:18:01.120 This is one way I like to lay this out.
00:18:03.560 Joe Biden has been going after Donald Trump.
00:18:05.820 He's been going after Christian conservatives.
00:18:08.180 He's been going after parents whose daughters have been raped by biological males that have
00:18:12.660 the gall to stand up at school board meetings.
00:18:14.700 That Justice Department did not actually think they had a strong enough taste to bring that.
00:18:19.600 The former D.A., Cy Vance, did not think that this was a strong enough case.
00:18:24.220 It took a George Soros underwited district attorney.
00:18:27.460 Of course, you know, the Biden administration is working under the table with them in order
00:18:31.740 to bring this case, and we know Michael Cohen is the star witness, somebody who has been
00:18:36.800 convicted of lying to Congress, a convicted felon.
00:18:40.360 This is a complete sham here, Steve.
00:18:41.960 You just need a couple of unbiased members in that jury box, and they're going to see right
00:18:45.820 through it.
00:18:49.600 Andrew, you say Cohen.
00:18:51.500 Cohen's the key witness about the bookkeeping part of this.
00:18:54.740 But don't you think what they're trying to do, at least in my mind, is to get the porn star
00:18:58.440 up there, the Playboy Bunny up there, you know, bring up the Billy Bush weekend guys, and
00:19:04.580 to try to smear President Trump in front of the college-educated suburban women to try
00:19:10.740 to drive his numbers down?
00:19:14.060 Yeah, I think that's probably right.
00:19:15.840 I think that definitely has a big factor in it, and I think that's obviously the political
00:19:20.020 side of all of this.
00:19:22.320 But that's why I think, honestly, if they look at the facts of this case, they can't even
00:19:27.040 point to an underlying felony.
00:19:28.960 So if you get beyond kind of the circus characters that are involved here, the Stormy Daniels,
00:19:34.440 the Michael Cohens, the Alvin Bragg, the district attorney himself, is a circus character.
00:19:39.300 It's somebody that should have been moved on the third day that he actually was in office
00:19:43.140 because he immediately violated his oath of office, writing to his assistant district
00:19:47.340 attorneys, and he was no longer going to prosecute violent crime.
00:19:51.180 You have a real circus act out here.
00:19:53.260 So that definitely is part of it.
00:19:54.740 And the political side of this cannot be actually underestimated.
00:19:58.960 But I just look at this again here, Steve, and I just say, hey, look, anybody, whether
00:20:02.520 or not a juror likes Trump, dislikes Trump, if they're unbiased looking at this case, I
00:20:08.940 mean, the facts are so weak that they'd have to acquit him right there.
00:20:13.480 That's why this jury selection process, it's going to take time.
00:20:17.200 They have to get it right.
00:20:18.640 You have to have at least a couple of people that are unbiased in that jury selection process
00:20:22.620 that can look beyond it.
00:20:24.700 The thing that concerns me, Steve, too, we're standing in lower Manhattan.
00:20:28.680 81% of Manhattan voted for Alvin Bragg.
00:20:31.960 77% of Manhattan voted for Joe Biden.
00:20:35.960 It's not quite as bad as the District of Columbia where you're talking 95%, but still, you're talking
00:20:41.140 only one in every four, one of every five that actually have voted for the Donald Trumps
00:20:46.760 of the world there.
00:20:47.600 I'm just hopeful you have some unbiased people in there that look and say, you know what?
00:20:52.140 This is a political prosecution.
00:20:54.020 The facts are so weak.
00:20:55.280 Should have never been brought.
00:20:58.420 Let's drill down on that for a second.
00:21:00.280 Your father was the legendary greatest mayor in the history of the city.
00:21:03.280 You ran and were very competitive and almost being the governor of the state.
00:21:08.940 What's your sense of the politics of all this?
00:21:10.960 I mean, they brought this in lower Manhattan for a reason.
00:21:15.540 It's so overwhelmingly anti-MAGA.
00:21:17.740 It's so overwhelmingly, particularly how they're going to try to rig everything about this.
00:21:22.780 Well, what can be done about it?
00:21:23.900 How come this thing wasn't dismissed?
00:21:25.360 Or how come they didn't grant it another venue to move it somewhere else in New York State?
00:21:29.700 Yeah, I would immediately, if I were Trump's team, as for habeas corpus on this, I think
00:21:36.440 this should be federal.
00:21:37.940 And I think you end up getting it right up there to the Southern District.
00:21:40.680 The Southern District would not have even taken this case.
00:21:42.960 It actually might end up then going to the Court of Appeals and actually into D.C. at this
00:21:47.160 point, which, you know, that may be why they're not actually looking to do that.
00:21:51.840 But in terms of the politics of this, Steve, I mean, you have you can't look any further
00:21:55.840 than the judge, Mershon.
00:21:57.560 And Laura Loomer, who was just on with you, is going to be back on with you here in a
00:22:00.780 moment.
00:22:01.380 She's laid it out so well in terms of the judge's daughter profiting from Kamala Harris, from
00:22:07.600 Adam Schiff, having the actual picture of Donald Trump behind bars on her social media
00:22:13.640 as the lead thing you see right there.
00:22:15.180 The wife, who's been a big Democratic advocate.
00:22:18.120 Marchand actually is a product of the Democratic Party and party politics.
00:22:23.040 So if you look beyond the politics of this case, then frankly, you're missing the entire
00:22:29.300 point of this whole thing and the entire point of why this case was actually brought to Donald
00:22:34.040 Trump in the first case.
00:22:35.400 You laid it out in your opening segment.
00:22:37.200 They're actually having him here so that way they could tie him up.
00:22:40.760 That way he can't be in the Pennsylvanias, the Wisconsin, the Michigans, the Georgias, where
00:22:44.600 he needs to be.
00:22:45.340 And they're trying to drain his bank account because they know the most important thing
00:22:50.500 for a candidate less than seven months before an election, it's time and it's money so you
00:22:55.240 can do engagement and outreach to your voters.
00:22:57.240 That's what they're trying to do to Donald Trump here.
00:22:58.940 They're trying to take that away.
00:23:00.460 And I think more and more Americans are seeing through it.
00:23:03.080 I just hope that those 12 in that jury box that they select are unbiased enough to see
00:23:07.380 through it as well.
00:23:09.580 OK, before I lose you, I want to go one more time about this jury selection.
00:23:13.020 It could take a week or two.
00:23:14.100 So walk me through how vital this is, could be arguably 80 percent of the case, getting
00:23:19.380 some unbiased jury members.
00:23:21.400 How can that happen?
00:23:22.220 How can Trump get unbiased, open-minded people?
00:23:27.080 I think, honestly, I really, in this case, would look and say I think it's very fair for
00:23:33.580 the defense and the prosecutors to know the political registration of these voters.
00:23:38.880 I think it's only fair to have a breakdown where maybe you have four Democrats, four
00:23:43.340 independents, four Republicans.
00:23:44.540 Do I expect that to happen in Manhattan with the Judge Mershon?
00:23:47.940 Sadly, Steve, I don't.
00:23:50.040 But that is the pathway to actually having a fair trial for Donald Trump, somebody that's
00:23:54.560 so ubiquitous that everybody who walks into that jury box is going to have a formed opinion
00:23:59.680 already about Donald Trump.
00:24:01.620 His name recognition is 99.9 percent.
00:24:05.240 And if they don't, then they probably shouldn't be even in the jury room because they probably
00:24:10.120 just don't really know what's going on in general.
00:24:13.260 So it's very difficult, I think, for the defense to actually go through this and actually kind
00:24:18.620 of wait it out and see, hey, is this somebody that can actually make an unbiased opinion without
00:24:24.480 the prosecution then striking that juror?
00:24:27.440 That's why it's going to take a while.
00:24:28.920 That's why it'll be a process.
00:24:30.560 But Trump's attorneys need to get this right.
00:24:32.940 Might be, you said, 80 percent of the trial.
00:24:34.980 I think you're absolutely right.
00:24:36.080 It's the overwhelming majority in terms of importance of this trial.
00:24:39.580 You have to get the jury selection process right.
00:24:44.420 Andrew, how do people keep up with you on social media, particularly during these next
00:24:47.760 couple of weeks as we're going to have you back on, obviously, but how do people keep
00:24:50.800 up with you on social media and your websites?
00:24:52.380 Yeah, go to at Andrew H. Giuliani on everything, and I'll be down here basically every day.
00:25:00.160 And, you know, we're going to be standing by President Trump like you, Steve, not just
00:25:04.300 somebody that had the opportunity to work for him.
00:25:06.080 You're one of the key architects to why he became the 45th president of the United States.
00:25:10.560 But he's been a dear friend and a mentor for a long time.
00:25:13.440 So this is personal, and it's sad to see our country today going after a former and future
00:25:20.580 president the way that Joe Biden, his opponent, is.
00:25:25.560 Well, Andrew, hang around, because as this thing goes on, particularly jury selection,
00:25:28.600 anything that comes out, we want to come right back to you.
00:25:30.340 Andrew Giuliani and Laura Manhattan.
00:25:32.140 Let's go to Laura Loomer.
00:25:33.220 We've got a couple minutes before break.
00:25:35.280 Laura, I know we've got some people down there we want to interview, but I just want to go
00:25:38.560 with you for a minute until we go to break.
00:25:40.460 You've done more probably than anybody talking about the politics of this case.
00:25:44.780 What has your research shown you, ma'am?
00:25:49.800 Well, I've exposed Judge Mershon.
00:25:52.500 Of course, Judge Mershon is the judge overseeing this case.
00:25:56.200 His daughter, Lauren Mershon, happens to work for a company called Authentic Campaigns.
00:26:01.300 It's a Democrat political consulting firm.
00:26:03.700 She doesn't just work there.
00:26:04.620 She's the president of this company.
00:26:06.720 And this is an organization, this is a full-scale firm, I guess you could call it.
00:26:11.760 They do digital fundraising.
00:26:12.980 They do email fundraising, all types of communications.
00:26:16.340 And they work with some of the most high-profile Democrats in our country, all of whom are calling
00:26:21.280 for Donald Trump to be indicted and jailed, including Adam Schiff, who has paid her company
00:26:25.400 over $13.5 million.
00:26:27.800 The Biden-Harris campaign is still also a current client as well.
00:26:31.820 They work with a lot of Trump-hating Democrats, and I understand right now the trial just began
00:26:37.420 about 20 minutes ago, and Judge Mershon opened up the trial by addressing President Trump
00:26:43.800 and his legal team's motion of requesting recusal, saying that it was based off of speculation.
00:26:49.820 It's based off a lot more than just speculation, Steve, okay?
00:26:52.760 We have the photographic evidence that I uncovered that shows that Lauren Mershon, the daughter,
00:26:58.120 her ex-account, which was photographed at her own company conference as well for Authentic
00:27:03.460 Campaigns, was a picture of Donald Trump behind jail bars with the same exact handle, and now
00:27:08.660 they're trying to say that it's not her account.
00:27:10.820 Laura Mershon, the wife of Judge Mershon, works with Letitia James, who campaigned on
00:27:17.160 getting Donald Trump.
00:27:18.760 And then Michael Cohen's lawyer, Andrew Laufer, was on Twitter last night taunting me, asking
00:27:24.000 me what the conflict is, when he has held fundraisers for Kamala Harris, and he is also photographed
00:27:30.020 with Tish James three months before her investigations into Donald Trump began, talking about how they
00:27:36.300 were going to get Trump.
00:27:37.960 So this is all coordinated, okay?
00:27:39.760 This is all coordinated, and people here are outraged.
00:27:45.660 Laura, hang on for one second.
00:27:47.140 We're going to come right back to you.
00:27:48.080 We're going to a short commercial break.
00:27:49.220 We're going to go to a short commercial break.
00:27:51.560 Laura Loomer, Mike Davis, Andrew Giuliani, Real America's Voice, David Zier, everybody
00:27:56.060 down in lower Manhattan.
00:27:58.360 The trial of the century starts today.
00:28:00.740 Jury selection.
00:28:01.820 Short commercial break.
00:28:02.860 Back in the warm in just a moment.
00:28:08.340 Who can you trust?
00:28:10.340 Government leaders repeatedly fail us.
00:28:12.320 Self-appointed experts have led us astray.
00:28:14.860 Distrust in so-called authorities is spreading like a bad cold.
00:28:19.220 We can't quite shake it, but you are not as powerless as they'd like you to believe.
00:28:25.820 When there's no one to depend on, it's time to rely and depend on yourself.
00:28:30.820 Not sure where to start?
00:28:32.160 Well, try this.
00:28:32.880 Go to MyPatriotSupply.com.

00:29:31.300 Action, action, action.
00:29:33.000 Use your host, Stephen K.
00:29:35.800 Bannon.
00:29:38.640 Okay.
00:29:40.220 Obviously, the world continues to turn.
00:29:42.980 Tesla just announced a layoff, I think, of up to 10% of their workforce.
00:29:48.300 I think it would be 15,000 jobs or something.
00:29:50.000 We'll get to all the details of that as the phony electric vehicle market collapses.
00:29:57.840 They're saying, oh, it's this competition with China.
00:29:59.540 Yeah, it is competition with China.
00:30:00.900 By the way, Elon Musk, who we told you they were going to screw you, of which they are.
00:30:06.100 But it's also because the electric vehicle, the entire concept of it, is based on phony premises and bizarre economics.
00:30:15.300 Let's go to Lower Manhattan.
00:30:16.520 We have Mike Davis suited up.
00:30:18.080 By the way, Andrew Giuliani, we're going to try to get him on every day about this.
00:30:21.440 We've got David Zier.
00:30:22.340 We're going to go back to Laura Loomber.
00:30:23.640 We've got our own Mike Davis.
00:30:25.340 Mike, set the stage for us here.
00:30:27.040 We played a cold open.
00:30:28.340 And I don't know if you could have seen it, but I just want the audience to understand.
00:30:32.280 We've crossed the Rubicon.
00:30:33.720 The establishment uniparty left and its media running dogs, it's their greatest day.
00:30:40.680 I mean, they are just lathered up that Trump is the worst.
00:30:44.540 Trump is the end of democracy.
00:30:46.140 And now they've got him in a totally rigged courtroom in Lower Manhattan where they think they're going to finish him off.
00:30:52.460 Mike Davis, your perspective.
00:30:55.880 Nothing screams democracy like trying to bankrupt, imprison for life, and even disqualify your political opponent.
00:31:05.400 That's what we do in third world Marxist hellholes like Zimbabwe and now New York, D.C., and Atlanta.
00:31:13.980 Remember what this case is all about, Steve.
00:31:17.460 You have President Trump allegedly paying off a nuisance claim in 2016 and putting it on the books in 2017.
00:31:30.180 This case is, at best, a time-barred bookkeeping misdemeanor.
00:31:36.520 It's not even that, but at best, that's what this case is all about.
00:31:41.040 You had the prior Manhattan district attorney, Cy Vance, decline to bring these bogus felony charges under a bogus legal theory.
00:31:52.400 You had the Manhattan U.S. attorney decline to bring these bogus felony charges.
00:31:58.200 You had the Federal Election Commission decline.
00:32:00.480 You had Alvin Bragg himself decline until Matthew Colangelo, a senior political appointee in the Biden Justice Department,
00:32:10.500 in the No. 3 office, a longtime Democrat operative for Obama and Tom Perez and Biden,
00:32:18.620 got deployed to Alvin Bragg's office, the Soros-funded Manhattan DA,
00:32:23.440 to resurrect this zombie case against President Trump.
00:32:27.740 And somehow these time-barred bookkeeping misdemeanors, at best, got converted into 34 felony charges.
00:32:35.620 And then we're doing jury selection for the next two weeks or so in a jury pool that voted 85% against President Trump.
00:32:46.100 You have a Democrat judge, Juan Mershon, who donated to President Biden's campaign against President Trump in 2020.
00:32:54.840 And another Democrat cause, his adult daughter, Lauren Mershon, is a leading Democrat consultant and fundraiser.
00:33:03.420 She's raised over close to $100 million off of her father's criminal prosecution,
00:33:09.160 this unprecedented criminal prosecution against a former president who happens to be the leading presidential candidate.
00:33:16.840 She has a financial stake in this criminal prosecution requiring Judge Juan Mershon's recusal under New York law.
00:33:24.360 And what is Judge Juan Mershon's response when President Trump raised this evidence?
00:33:28.300 He puts an unconstitutional, illegal gag order on President Trump, a criminal defendant, for raising this evidence.
00:33:35.880 This is a banana republic in New York City.
00:33:39.360 This is what you do in third-world Marxist hellholes.
00:33:43.920 I just want to go back.
00:33:45.900 We're going to go to Laura in just a minute, back to her.
00:33:49.160 They're both right outside the courtroom.
00:33:51.200 Mike is right outside the courtroom.
00:33:52.340 Laura's over there in the park where some of the demonstrations are loomering people.
00:33:56.860 We're going to go back to her in a second.
00:33:57.860 But, Mike, I just want to make sure people understand.
00:34:01.220 Cy Vance and the Manhattan DA's office are as virulently anti-Trump as you could possibly get.
00:34:09.280 The guy that was their assistant they put specifically on this, Cy Vance did, is a Trump hater from the beginning and wants to see Trump in prison.
00:34:18.520 Both of those guys and the staff, even with Alvin Bragg at first, said there's nothing here.
00:34:24.600 We can't do it.
00:34:25.320 It's only after Matthew Colangelo.
00:34:27.360 I mean, this is hardwired, as you've exposed.
00:34:31.100 This is hardwired from Garland's DOJ that seconded Matthew Colangelo there to get good order and discipline and make sure this thing could even be brought with all the jujitsu they had to do from basically a commercial bookkeeping issue to now, I don't know, 20 felonies that I just read this morning could have a max of 20 years in a state prison.
00:34:53.780 Right. And over at Rikers or, you know, Sing Sing or someplace like this.
00:34:58.720 Just give me a moment on that, how people that hated Trump and hate him to a blood-boiling degree said, we can't do this.
00:35:10.820 It's too big a farce.
00:35:12.600 We will be laughed out of a court, sir.
00:35:14.320 Well, I would be laughed out of a normal court, but you're in front of this biased Democrat Manhattan Judge Juan Mershon who donated to Biden and another anti-Trump cause.
00:35:27.240 His daughter is profiting off this criminal prosecution.
00:35:31.040 And this Matthew Colangelo, let's talk about Matthew Colangelo's background because President Trump can't because Judge Juan Mershon gags Trump illegally unconstitutionally.
00:35:41.320 So we're going to talk about this. You have Lauren Mershon, the adult daughter, raising nearly $100 million off this criminal prosecution.
00:35:48.080 She gets a percentage of that because she runs the consulting company.
00:35:51.760 She's the fundraiser. It could be a big percent, maybe 10 percent.
00:35:55.120 That's the going rate on political fundraising.
00:35:57.540 And then you have Matthew Colangelo. Let's talk about Matthew Colangelo's background.
00:36:02.600 He is a political appointee. He worked for the Obama Justice Department for Tom Perez when Tom Perez ran the Civil Rights Division.
00:36:12.400 And then Tom Perez went on to be Obama's labor secretary.
00:36:16.300 Matthew Colangelo followed him there.
00:36:19.440 And then when Tom Perez went to be Obama's DNC chairman,
00:36:23.980 Matthew Colangelo went into the Obama White House as a senior labor relations political appointee.
00:36:31.640 Then Matthew Colangelo worked for the Democrat district attorney.
00:36:35.560 They made up some BS DEI job for him.
00:36:39.360 And then he joined the Biden Justice Department on the parachute team.
00:36:44.880 He was the number two to the number three.
00:36:47.280 He was the acting number three before Vanita Gupta, a hardcore leftist, got confirmed.
00:36:52.140 And then Matthew Colangelo was Vanita Gupta's henchman, the number two to the number three.
00:36:57.620 A very important job in the Justice Department that oversees all the civil litigating divisions, civil rights, civil tax, antitrust, a whole litany of them, office of justice programs.
00:37:09.060 And then Matthew Colangelo got deployed to Alvin Bragg's office, the Soros-funded Manhattan DA,
00:37:15.860 to resurrect the zombie case for allegations from, what, seven years ago?
00:37:20.940 Time-barred allegations from seven years ago.
00:37:23.600 And here's a question you should ask.
00:37:25.660 If President Trump were somehow interfering in the 2016 election through these payments,
00:37:33.940 a payment of a nuisance claim,
00:37:36.200 how come they charged him for what happened in 2017?
00:37:39.500 How the hell can you interfere in the 2016 election in 2017?
00:37:47.120 Unbelievable.
00:37:47.700 Mike, hang right there.
00:37:48.700 We're going to come back to you.
00:37:49.380 Let's go to Laura Loomer.
00:37:50.400 Laura, I know we've got some people to interview,
00:37:52.560 but I want to just still address you for a second because you've been on this.
00:37:55.980 Did you say, I want the audience to understand something because you bring the receipts.
00:37:59.780 As Adam Schiff, you mentioned $14 million.
00:38:03.740 Walk me through the $14 million.
00:38:05.220 And here's the reason.
00:38:06.460 President Trump's had an unconstitutional gag order.
00:38:08.820 So quite frankly, the Laura Loomers, the Mike Davises, the War Rooms, the Real America's Voice,
00:38:13.760 we have to be his voice.
00:38:15.320 We have to amplify this.
00:38:16.580 We have no earthy idea when President Trump comes to the sticks in the afternoon at 40 Wall Street,
00:38:21.280 I think he's going to do a summary of the day.
00:38:23.360 We have no earthy idea if media is going to pick that up,
00:38:26.720 and only citizen journalists and independent media will do it.
00:38:30.060 So hit the audience again.
00:38:31.720 You're saying that the daughter had $14 million from Adam Schiff's operation?
00:38:38.820 Yes, because as I said before, her company, Authentic Campaigns, they do digital fundraising.
00:38:44.760 And so Adam Schiff, because of his Get Trump narrative, is one of the top fundraisers in the Democrat Party.
00:38:52.480 And of course, you know, there's a conflict there that exists between himself and Michael Cohen as well,
00:38:57.560 who is the star witness today by Alvin Bragg.
00:39:00.380 And so because of all the money and all the services that Authentic Campaigns has provided to Adam Schiff,
00:39:06.360 I guess that's their cut.
00:39:07.680 I don't know what the cut breaks down to, but in any type of campaign,
00:39:12.100 a fundraiser generally gets 15 to 20 percent of the funds raised.
00:39:16.320 And so there's probably other things as well, like the website management.
00:39:20.280 According to the Authentic Campaigns website, they redesigned and completely managed all of his political ads,
00:39:27.700 his fundraising, and the appearance of his website.
00:39:30.680 So it's probably how much they charge.
00:39:32.660 That's a lot of money.
00:39:35.020 Laura, who do we have down in lower Manhattan with you?
00:39:37.400 Right now, I'm joined by Paul Ingrassia, who is an attorney.
00:39:44.140 He is often shared by President Trump, his sub-stacks,
00:39:47.120 and he's currently also the communications director for NCLU.
00:39:50.920 Paul, great to be here with you.
00:39:52.080 Thank you, Laura.
00:39:52.780 I mean, it's quite a spectacle down here today.
00:39:55.580 There's a lot of Trump supporters, not so much liberals or Antifa or anything.
00:39:59.480 We see a lot of cast of characters down here, but many Trump supporters, Trump flags, and it's a good sight to see.
00:40:05.540 Why did you decide to show up?
00:40:07.200 I know that the president is very fond of you.
00:40:09.400 He often shares your legal analysis, sub-stack articles.
00:40:12.640 Well, we're here with the New York Young Republican Club, and I just wanted to show my support for President Trump.
00:40:17.480 We know that this is a witch hunt, a sham.
00:40:20.080 I mean, this case has been kicked around from far left to district attorney to district attorney for seven years now.
00:40:26.720 No one wanted to take it up.
00:40:27.920 Even Bragg himself didn't want to take up the case.
00:40:30.820 Improprieties run amok throughout this case.
00:40:33.040 You know, with his daughter, I was just on the website last night.
00:40:36.300 Their clients, of course, are Adam Schiff, who pushed the phony Steele dossier story.
00:40:41.120 Kathy Hochul as well, the governor of New York, and the Brennan Justice System Center that is trying to advocate for all of the bail reform as well.
00:40:49.720 When you have the Biden-Harris campaign as one of your main clients, and she's the president of this organization,
00:40:54.960 I mean, how is that not a conflict of interest?
00:40:56.840 Not only is she the president of authentic campaigns, but she was also one of the directors of rapid response and creative direction for Kamala Harris' presidential campaign when Kamala Harris was running for president.
00:41:10.960 Laura, ask Paul.
00:41:15.160 Marshawn just ruled that he's not going to recuse himself, given all the evidence.
00:41:18.540 Ask Paul's opinion about that.
00:41:20.380 Yeah, Paul.
00:41:23.780 What do you think about the fact that Judge Marshawn isn't recusing himself and began the trial today by just openly addressing the motion to recusal, saying that it was based off speculation?
00:41:34.960 I mean, it's egregious.
00:41:36.240 It's a lawfare of the most, you know, of the highest example.
00:41:40.260 And, you know, the fact of the matter is, you know, it's one thing that he's not recusing himself from this trial, but the fact that President Trump can't even talk about it, that he's been imposed this gag order on him, and he's had his free speech rights, his First Amendment rights stripped away from him, is beyond absurd.
00:42:00.340 It's egregious what they're doing to him here.
00:42:02.500 As a lawyer, though, yourself, do you think that there's more than just speculation based off the evidence that's been presented making the case for why Judge Marshawn should recuse himself?
00:42:12.900 What do you think about him saying it's just speculation?
00:42:15.640 I think it's certainly more than speculation, and because of that, that's why we're no longer allowed to talk about it.
00:42:20.720 That's why President Trump isn't allowed to truth about it, and that's why this gag order is so expansive.
00:42:25.540 It's one thing to impose a gag order on you, but to basically limit his ability to talk about this case at all is unprecedented.
00:42:32.900 And it's such an abuse of the judicial system, the weaponized justice system, as we like to say in New York State, and this is like the heart of that weaponized justice system.
00:42:41.120 And that's really what this election cycle is all about.
00:42:44.360 Do we get to preserve our due process rights, our First Amendment rights, or do we lose everything that our founding father is hardwired?
00:42:52.140 And that's why we're out here, Steve, because if President Trump is going to be gagged and he's not going to be able to speak for himself, we have to be his voice.
00:43:00.020 We have to be his bullhorn.
00:43:01.660 And I brought my bullhorn here today.
00:43:03.780 We were on the bullhorn earlier, and it's egregious.
00:43:07.180 It's egregious that the most powerful man in the world, the president of the United States, is being silenced in what is supposed to be the freest country in the world.
00:43:16.400 We are watching our country devolve into a communist hellhole, okay?
00:43:22.560 It's an absolute communist hellhole, and that's what it's going to be.
00:43:26.080 Our country's over if Trump doesn't win.
00:43:28.420 Yeah.
00:43:28.900 Laura, just hang here for one second.

00:45:28.920 This IRS grind is only going to get much worse.
00:45:31.720 On the jury, do you think you could be impartial?
00:45:39.900 I think I could because I honestly, I don't pay attention to politics these days.
00:45:46.400 It's too stressful.
00:45:48.480 So, yeah, if I were called on, yeah, I would.
00:45:52.480 As a Manhattan resident, do you remember the first time you heard the name Donald Trump?
00:45:55.480 Or do you have any strong impression from when he was running for office or in office?
00:45:59.360 So, I grew up in Queens.
00:46:02.160 So did I.
00:46:03.600 And so I lived here from 1974 to 1992.
00:46:10.760 And at that time, Donald Trump was considered like, I don't know if a good guy, but like a decent guy.
00:46:20.660 I don't think he's any worse than Biden, to be honest.
00:46:27.460 He's from Queens, from like Jamaica Estates.
00:46:34.300 Just out of curiosity, what part of Queens were you from?
00:46:36.920 Yeah, Jamaica, Hollis.
00:46:38.540 Oh.
00:46:38.840 Yeah.
00:46:39.320 Andrew Cuomo's from there.
00:46:40.620 Yeah.
00:46:41.000 Oh, God.
00:46:41.880 Sorry.
00:46:45.260 I went.
00:46:46.640 I'm not anti-Trump, but I'm very anti-Cuomo.
00:46:49.620 Do you think Donald Trump could get a fair trial in Manhattan?
00:46:55.580 I mean, I would hope that anyone could get a fair trial anywhere in this country, right?
00:47:00.300 Like, that's how it should be.
00:47:02.120 Yeah.
00:47:02.280 And, you know, it's unfortunate that you even have to ask that question, to be honest.
00:47:11.400 If you got a jury summons and they said, could you be an impartial juror?
00:47:15.080 Against him or for him?
00:47:16.540 Well, impartial means you would only judge it based on the evidence in the courtroom.
00:47:21.720 Well, then I got no problem with that.
00:47:23.740 I mean, I don't mind serving on the jury for that.
00:47:25.880 Why not?
00:47:26.880 How hard or easy do you think it would be to sort of put on the impartial hat and not
00:47:32.660 have the, like, the politics hat on?
00:47:35.320 Well, I have a mind of my own.
00:47:37.080 I wait for the evidence to be proved, to be, you know, submitted, and then take it from
00:47:41.480 there.
00:47:41.980 As a Manhattan resident, I'm wondering if you can tell me what's your strongest impression
00:47:45.220 of Donald Trump, either from his days as a developer or from the campaign trail or when
00:47:51.060 he was in the Oval Office?
00:47:52.900 As a president, I liked him as a president.
00:47:55.040 As a businessman, I liked him as a businessman.
00:47:57.600 He has his own personality.
00:47:59.560 I mean, he has a mind of his own.
00:48:01.400 And, you know, me as a New Yorker, I can't judge him for who he is.
00:48:06.260 Basically, I can only judge him by the way he carries himself, especially in the White House.
00:48:10.980 I mean, I like the way he handles himself in the White House.
00:48:13.420 I like him.
00:48:13.920 I agree on everything that he has said, because what he said is true.
00:48:17.460 It has to be true.
00:48:18.120 It can't be false, because if it's false, then he can be rung up on charges.
00:48:21.760 But, you know, I like Donald Trump.
00:48:23.280 I really do.
00:48:25.700 You know, that was the Washington Post trying to get, trying to talk to people in Manhattan.
00:48:30.320 Mike Davis, as you know, an impartial jury here, I think, is 80 percent of this fight,
00:48:35.920 given what they're going to try.
00:48:36.980 This is not about bookkeeping.
00:48:38.100 You made a great case.
00:48:38.900 It's not about some commercial bookkeeping entries.
00:48:40.780 This is about Stormy Daniels, Miss December, some playboy playmate, Billy Bush to smear Trump to try to sway a jury.
00:48:49.660 How tough do you think it's going to be to get an impartial jury here, sir?
00:48:52.620 It's going to be very, very hard, because you have a jury pool here in Manhattan that voted 85 percent against Donald Trump.
00:49:03.900 And then you have this biased Democrat Manhattan judge, Juan Mershon, who donated to Biden in 2020 in another anti-Trump cause,
00:49:13.280 whose adult daughter is making money off of this criminal prosecution as a Democrat fundraiser.
00:49:19.420 He's required to recuse under New York law.
00:49:22.880 He refuses.
00:49:23.540 And then if you read the juror questionnaire that this judge submitted, it asks a lot of questions.
00:49:31.200 It's going to eliminate, you know, maybe the 10 people in Manhattan who actually support Trump are going to get eliminated through this juror questionnaire that's stacked against Trump.
00:49:43.980 It asks these potential jurors if they follow Trump on social media and if they support Trump and his causes.
00:49:51.900 But they don't ask these potential jurors if they support Biden and his causes.
00:49:56.920 So this whole process is stacked against President Trump.
00:50:00.680 You have a former Clinton federal judge who has come out on CNN, on Caitlin Collins' show on CNN back on April 5th,
00:50:09.720 and said that this Democrat Manhattan judge should recuse from this case.
00:50:14.660 Juan Mershon should recuse because his adult daughter, Lauren, has a financial stake in this criminal trial over which he's presiding.
00:50:22.280 It is very clear under New York law this is a corrupt prosecution by Soros-funded Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg,
00:50:31.040 by a former Biden senior political appointee in the Justice Department, Matthew Colangelo.
00:50:37.660 This stinks to high heaven here in Manhattan.
00:50:43.640 Real quickly, you're going to come back and join us in the second hour, as is Laura.
00:50:47.240 This whole issue of the gag order, this is, I mean, the reason we're there in such a show of force is to amplify the truth of what's going on.
00:50:55.940 Because President Trump can't, supposedly, will go to jail if he even talks about this, sir.
00:51:02.920 Yeah, this is outrageous that these Democrat prosecutors and these Democrat judges and these Democrat hellholes like New York, D.C., and Atlanta
00:51:10.680 are putting a gag order on a criminal defendant.
00:51:13.960 It is the criminal defendant, not the government, who has the constitutional rights here.
00:51:19.880 And the gag orders in criminal cases are supposed to protect the criminal defendant,
00:51:24.900 to make sure the criminal defendant gets a fair, public, and speedy trial under the 6th and 14th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
00:51:33.380 These Democrats, prosecutors, and judges have turned the Constitution on its head
00:51:38.060 from a shield to protect us from the government into a sword the government is using to come after us
00:51:42.940 by gagging a criminal defendant.
00:51:45.260 That's what you do in third world Marxist hellholes.
00:51:47.820 And the reason they're gagging President Trump is because he raised the obvious bias of the Biden Justice Department official,
00:51:55.140 Matthew Colangelo, coming to resurrect the zombie case.
00:51:57.840 President Trump raised the evidence of this judge, Juan Mershon, this Democrat Manhattan judge,
00:52:03.520 his adult daughter, Lauren, financially profiting off of her father's unprecedented criminal prosecution of Trump.
00:52:11.000 How did he respond?
00:52:12.080 He expanded the gag order.
00:52:13.620 This is unconstitutional.
00:52:15.500 It's illegal what they're doing.
00:52:17.240 And I would say this to these Democrat prosecutors and Democrat judges.
00:52:20.700 There is no way in hell you're going to gag us at the Article III project.
00:52:25.240 You're going to have to put us in jail to shut us up.
00:52:29.520 Where do people go to get to Article III, sir?
00:52:34.660 Article3project.org.
00:52:35.720 Article3project.org.
00:52:39.740 Mike, you hang on.
00:52:40.740 We're going to get back to you in the second hour.
00:52:42.360 David Zier is going to draw us.
00:52:43.520 Laura Loomer.
00:52:44.580 Wall-to-wall coverage.
00:52:45.620 We're also going to talk about what's going on in Baltimore now.
00:52:47.860 FBI is aboard the vessel criminal investigation.
00:52:50.920 As Laura Logan and ourselves said, something very fishy in Baltimore besides the crabs, right?
00:52:57.640 Okay.
00:52:58.040 A short commercial break.
00:52:59.080 90 seconds.
00:53:00.140 Make sure.
00:53:00.620 How do we get jacked up in the morning for a particularly historic day like that?
00:53:04.380 Warpath coffee.
00:53:06.460 I love the dark roast, but the mediums are great, too, and the milds.
00:53:10.600 The dark roast is a mariner's blend after my naval experience, right?
00:53:16.060 Kind of piratey.
00:53:16.820 Warpath.coffee slash worm.

00:53:34.100 True or false?
