00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going to

00:00:09.640 medieval on this people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people

00:01:29.360 some different things also get you down into the weeds of uh of on some of these battleground states

00:01:34.980 of actually what you have to do to win um want to read something from russ of vote by the way gold

00:01:40.580 birchgold.com i'm putting out the fifth installment i'm going to try to premiere tomorrow to give you

00:01:47.720 a taste of it it's uh fantastic work i'm really proud of the team over at birch gold that worked

00:01:54.500 with us on this it's the about the central bank digital currency and why in a time when you have

00:02:00.300 these massive deficits and now you have a tough time financing the deficit we told you this was going

00:02:06.360 to happen the de-dollarization people say the dollar stronger than ever it's just relative to

00:02:11.380 other currencies the world's tallest midget look at it vis-a-vis commodities look at vis-a-vis uh other

00:02:17.580 other things of value maybe not so much right so you've got to understand that we'd give you the macro

00:03:00.540 to make all of our content in fact we do make all of our content uh free um i want to read uh of course

00:03:07.700 the people are going crazy right now the um i want to read from russ uh vote we had russ on yesterday

00:03:14.740 talked a little bit about this and if denver could please put this tweet up in its entirety

00:03:18.940 and mo and uh grace i want to make sure we push this out this is from vote i can understand those who

00:03:25.000 are baffled that conservatives are entertaining removing mike johnson from being speaker in an election

00:03:29.340 year with a small majority i haven't really weighed in because i understand the pros and cons but those

00:03:34.300 watching from the outside need to understand the magnitude of what johnson is doing funding ukraine

00:03:39.580 and acting as the third party payer of that endless war has rightfully become a mini brexit for many of us

00:03:46.980 the neocon foreign policy establishment is determined to keep us in this role of bill payer and imperial

00:03:53.040 leader we want out yesterday it's killing and exhausting our country it's leading to more war 0.82

00:03:59.120 internationally mike johnson made commitments not to fund ukraine without securing the border i wish he

00:04:04.940 had said regardless but it was a tangible reasonable approach he is now violating that promise because

00:04:11.980 global elites like david cameron etc and ruling class republicans are in complete freak out and guess

00:04:19.120 what he agrees with him he is a neocon that is what's happening so mike johnson is now touching the

00:04:23.980 stove and may light himself on fire this is after being worse than an utter mediocrity when it comes to

00:04:31.720 the spending fights refusing to use the power of the purse and flipping his position on reforming faiza

00:04:39.120 after a skiff brief i don't know what is going to happen and if he goes down i expect a complete meltdown

00:04:46.580 from conservative inc but mike johnson will be responsible for his own demise for choosing to

00:04:51.280 govern against the clear wishes of the vast majority of grassroots conservatives who are educated on the

00:04:57.540 issues and that is no longer a survivable place to be for any gop leader and thank god for it 0.66

00:05:05.040 uh war room you have done your uh posse you've done your job at least for right now we're gonna they've

00:05:12.320 delayed remember last night we were going to get the whole package where it was going to happen he's

00:05:16.000 they vapor locked in that package hasn't come out i think he's called another kitchen cabinet meeting

00:05:20.520 for this afternoon and probably going to have to vote on this over the weekend but that's the uh

00:05:26.560 that that's the reality of this that's the reality of where we are now kevin mccarthy i'll get to

00:05:33.160 can i pull up this guy this um uh facebook post that this guy is going to run against um and i'll have

00:05:40.440 more to say about this this is you know mccarthy's on the jihad against all the heroes that stood in

00:05:46.040 the breach to remove him because of the spending deal and lying about it you've got another guy jack 0.63

00:05:52.140 smith is that who his name is jack something this is you want to see clown you want to because 0.78

00:05:57.200 this is a clown this is a clown and you see the yellow part right there he is he's announced

00:06:05.280 yesterday with mccarthy's money mccarthy's money and mccarthy's guys backing it up i'm gonna put get 0.95

00:06:14.580 their names and do it in the next segment or after um jim rickards joins us this guy announced he's

00:06:20.360 going to primary one of the uh one of the great men uh in the house a fighter not just served his

00:06:27.400 country but also fought and has shown tremendous political courage that'd be eli crane this guy at the

00:06:33.420 last second is going to file and he's got all this mccarthy money back and he's just talking he says

00:06:37.180 i'm a real conservative and he touts in there oh eli eli crane's voting for democrats eli kane's 0.97

00:06:43.580 everybody this is a ball dude back in the old days that might work you're a clown and the people 0.97

00:06:50.000 advising you're a clown so when you get your face ripped off you turn to them and say hey you told me 0.93

00:06:54.440 i could say this you're talking about he didn't vote for the minibuses in the in the joint kind of 0.99

00:07:01.140 omnibus and yes they had some stuff they had some crap in there about about the board and stuff but

00:07:08.160 it was a joke you're actually saying supporting mccarthy's policies you want to do hey in the in

00:07:15.620 the district that eli crane represents that about a seven percent but we're going to have to take you

00:07:22.180 as a lesson because mccarthy is on a vengeance tour against gates and against good and mace and biggs and

00:07:29.740 all of them and eli crane particularly he's on he's on the revenge tour it's not going to work

00:07:35.660 you were the worst speaker in the history of the country and how do i say that give the empirical

00:07:41.580 evidence because you didn't even last nine months or eight months or a year you were gone 0.59

00:07:46.940 you were humiliated and you will be in the history books of being humiliated mccarthy and you're just 1.00

00:07:54.000 going to have to live with it because we're not going to allow your clowns your political operatives 1.00

00:08:01.020 and they're so smart and say yes we need to we can weaponize this against eli no you can't 0.86

00:08:06.560 people in this district among the smartest people in this country common sense hard work

00:08:11.840 you got the worm you got charlie kirk you got jack you think you're gonna run these games on us

00:08:16.640 you think you're gonna assault the intelligence of the maga movement brother 0.91

00:08:20.660 well when you're curled up in the fetal position haven't been destroyed politically which you will

00:08:27.760 be you can turn around and blame it on mccarthy's handlers that came down and talked you into and

00:08:33.240 showed you the big money man we got big money in back of you right now we're gonna go with the eli crane

00:08:37.220 you ain't gonna go after anybody eli crane's one of the great heroes in this country had the moral

00:08:42.980 courage to stand in the breach at every vote we should be proud we have men like eli crane that

00:08:54.320 will serve in the imperial capital and represent their constituents in the imperial capital we're

00:09:03.760 honored to have people like eli crane who will not back down from a fight and for you to use

00:09:10.800 exactly what mccarthy establishment cratered on and to try to turn that against him 1.00

00:09:17.460 it shows you're an idiot but you're also a tool of evil you are a tool of evil 1.00

00:09:24.560 so when you're political the non-political career you had is destroyed and you're curled up in the 1.00

00:09:31.520 fetal position sucking your thumb remember who put you up to do this mccarthy and this clique are evil 0.99

00:09:40.300 they're a big part of the reason that we're here this just didn't happen it's called controlled 0.98

00:09:49.020 opposition this just didn't happen the country just didn't get on the edge of this

00:09:54.100 they've had a fight for the first time in years a real fight that's why you think donald trump's in

00:10:00.640 a courtroom they're trying to destroy him they're trying to strip his business from him

00:10:03.540 they're trying to erase all memory of trump because for the first time they've had a fight

00:10:10.220 and here's the bad news for them we are as the book says the cover we are as president trump says

00:10:18.580 we're going to finish what we started because the only way we lose and steven a smith knows this

00:10:26.480 the only way maga loses is if if we quit and i know enough people in this movement

00:10:36.120 that quit is not part of their dna so we're not going to quit we're going to win every fight no

00:10:44.580 we're not we're going to have all are we going to get to the sunlit uplands in november if trump

00:10:50.620 wins no we're not uh is this some magic wand is some fairy godmother going to come down here and 1.00

00:10:56.740 and and and put some magic dust on it's all going to be better no it's not we have a long tough nasty

00:11:05.300 fight ahead of us because it's taken decades and decades and decades to get in this situation

00:11:13.060 and just like any human institution it's not going to be turned around and it ain't going to be turned

00:11:18.460 around tomorrow morning just look at your country right now see what you see

00:11:24.700 and see the collapse of these institutions higher education culture the church the military

00:11:34.740 congress our political process our courts look around you don't take it from me

00:11:40.640 see see what you see and then you tell me how we got here we got here because people were bought off

00:11:51.840 and said yeah i'll just go the easy route i'll make my money and screw the country and screw

00:11:56.300 future generations and most importantly screw all those who came before us and uh bequeath to us 1.00

00:12:03.260 the greatest country in mankind's history but we're not we're not built like that the maga movement is

00:12:13.100 not built like that and charlie sykes is right this is not going to stop and we will never stop

00:12:19.340 when you saw trump send a very that was a show of force yesterday in harlem he's not going to back

00:12:28.120 down as long as he's not going to back down we must have his back and you should be looking right now

00:12:33.540 at the crickets of who's not backing him all in and i don't care if you call yourself a conservative

00:12:40.140 you hate his guts you hate what he stands for you hate it all if you don't have his back then you're 0.92

00:12:44.920 part of the problem and i tell you what sir you got to get current in uh coming after eli crane the

00:12:54.200 games change you can't put out nonsense like that anymore this audience is too sophisticated the folks

00:13:00.000 in your district are too sophisticated they get it and one of the reasons they get it is we make sure

00:13:07.060 that six days a week we provide a platform to give them information that is free men and women they can

00:13:13.560 look at and come to the conclusion hey this ain't right and now i understand what they're running the

00:13:18.740 deal they're running you can never take down what you put up you have to say real conservative yeah

00:13:24.980 that's a real conservative you're voting for you're saying you would vote for the destruction of this 0.99

00:13:30.100 country dude you may be too stupid to understand that but we're very willing to give you a tutorial 0.99

00:13:37.460 over the next couple of weeks so that you understand it because if we lose men like eli crane we have lost 0.99

00:13:44.600 this country let me repeat that we lose men and women of the moral character of eli crane prepared to step

00:13:55.040 forward and to serve their districts and to serve this country and to try to save this republic this that

00:14:02.520 is republic ending

00:14:03.720 and we are not prepared to have that happen

00:14:11.440 and it's going to get plenty nasty

00:14:15.960 and these primaries are going to get plenty nasty

00:14:19.100 on capitol hill it's going to get plenty nasty

00:14:22.360 in our confrontation with the biden crime family but that's okay

00:14:25.980 if it has to be it has to be that's just the way it is

00:14:29.620 and we're prepared to accept that and we're prepared more importantly to own it

00:14:35.020 and to take responsibility for it and to be held accountable for it

00:14:39.540 short commercial break

00:14:42.780 jim rickards i've got in rome ben harnwell

00:14:46.120 we have a lot to say that's going to connect back to these important votes of what's happening

00:14:50.660 on capitol hill

00:14:51.340 short commercial break back in the warm in a moment

00:14:53.680 we rejoice when there's no more let's take down the ccb 1.00

00:14:59.620 hey folks if you watch war room you know we talk every day about the geopolitical and other forces driving the price of gold

00:15:07.400 there are actually a couple of reasons this is happening let me walk through them

00:15:11.780 the cost of goods continues to rise despite interest rate controls by the fed

00:15:16.820 since january 2021 cost of living is up 18 percent

00:15:22.160 the national debt continues to skyrocket

00:15:25.020 now significantly north of 34 trillion dollars causing many to worry when the house of cards will come crashing down

00:15:32.800 and a presidential election year that will have massive implications on the future of this country

00:16:43.280 okay thank you welcome back um i want to bring in ben harnwell jim rickridge joins us but i want

00:16:57.320 to bring i want to tee up jim with a couple of news items news breaks uh daily telegraph in new york

00:17:04.420 times ben harnwell from rome uh give me the speed of the two things that broke have broken here uh

00:17:10.140 recently morning steve well the first article here in the daily telegraph i'll just give the

00:17:15.600 headline uh crude cheap and deadly russian glide bombs are pounding ukraine into surrender i want

00:17:24.760 to break this story down later after jim but the point about this reason why i suggested this this

00:17:30.620 article for today's show is that it's the first article steve i've seen in what two years

00:17:36.920 two months of two months of this war that i have seen the word surrender tied directly to the ukrainian

00:17:45.020 state of war um it's an interesting article but i'll break it down later um the other article here in

00:17:52.800 the new york times is in ukraine's west draft dodgers run and swim to avoid the war it's an article which

00:18:01.160 refers to and i literally quote an exodus of young ukrainian men fleeing the country because they

00:18:08.760 don't want to be drafted into a war and it actually makes the parallel point that the worse the war is

00:18:13.420 doing the more they're trying to get out it also drops the interesting fact that the the figures that

00:18:20.020 these young poor young ukrainian kids are spending to be guided by the people smugglers outside of the

00:18:26.700 country has risen from two thousand dollars per person at the beginning of the war to ten thousand

00:18:32.280 dollars now and it's basically taken over the major means of smuggling that's gone from counterfeit

00:18:39.100 cigarettes to to young ukrainian guys because of this war but i'll break this down um and a little

00:18:45.200 later in the show steve yeah just read just just read that as we're up there talking about another 60

00:18:50.320 billion dollars in a open money pit uh read that headline again we said this was going to happen the key

00:18:56.460 part is they don't they can't get the 500 000 combat troops around the age of 27 right because

00:19:03.000 the average age is 42 and they're getting pounded right and they don't have enough men to fight

00:19:08.320 because people do not want to volunteer in the levels they need to fight what they think is an 0.98

00:19:16.240 unwinnable war in a stupid war yes about you know uh they're they're they're and i'm not questioning 0.99

00:19:22.900 the bravery and courage of the ukrainian people it's been amazing it is the their sociopathic 1.00

00:19:29.900 leaders in brussels by the way in brussels yesterday they tried to shut down the national conservative

00:19:34.980 convention uh brother sharab and yoram hazani and these people putting on nigel farage was speaking

00:19:41.280 they're going to have orban in brussels this is what they think of democracy and this is what they think

00:19:46.340 of free speech they sent the police to shut it down in the middle of nigel's talk they don't believe 0.99

00:19:51.000 in free speech they believe in absolute total fascist control this is why they're not going to win in

00:19:58.480 ukraine they're just not and hey it ain't steve bannon saying that it's the young it's the parents

00:20:03.280 of the young men who put the ten thousand dollars up get my son out of here because i don't want to

00:20:08.300 he's my most precious asset or my children i don't want to throw into the charnel house 1.00

00:20:12.840 of uh of this war now that was it kharkiv is about to uh is about to fall the second biggest city

00:20:21.120 the second most important city just read the headline again before i go to jim records sir

00:20:24.140 in ukraine's west draft dodgers run and swim to avoid war

00:20:31.680 unbelievable uh hang on harnwell we're gonna come back to you jim records uh your assessment uh they're

00:20:40.040 they're blaming maga uh for the uh for the loss in ukraine that oh it's us holding back the money

00:20:47.140 it's we're the worst people in the world uh they've they've put all the chips in the middle of the

00:20:52.260 table mike johnson now hasn't put forward what the plan's going to be uh and i want all the war and 0.99

00:20:57.500 posse to hold fire until we find the plan then if they're going to put it in one rule it's kill the

00:21:02.460 rule but he may be wavering even as we speak uh records you're one of the best geo strategic

00:21:09.460 geoeconomic thinkers in the world give me your assessment sir well uh that's exactly right

00:21:16.220 steve what the important thing to understand in terms of this you know 61 billion dollars for

00:21:20.560 ukraine that mike johnson is trying to shepherd through the house uh a couple things it doesn't

00:21:26.080 matter it will not change the outcome the war's not over but ukraine is lost uh what's going on

00:21:32.120 the battlefront between russian ukraine and eastern ukraine you know normal battlefront you know

00:21:37.380 one side is moving the other side is retreating they're fighting back there that is not what's

00:21:40.960 going on what's going on is that ukraine's forces are collapsing they're they're uh they're surrendering

00:21:46.900 in some cases at the battalion level they're deserting they're just kind of running in a

00:21:52.520 disorderly way uh heading back to the nipo river they're getting annihilated uh in open fields from

00:21:57.760 the air so this is this is a collapse this isn't uh you know russian germany in 1942 this is russian

00:22:03.660 germany in 1945 uh where it's where it's just you know it's the war's not over but you can see how

00:22:09.600 it's going to end so the 61 billion dollars will not matter in that sense it's it's sort of also the

00:22:15.040 other thing is there's nothing to buy people don't understand that they say if i say hey steve we're

00:22:19.700 standing outside the store here's a million dollars go in and buy whatever you want and you walk in the

00:22:23.820 store and the shelves are empty what good did that million dollars do because there's nothing to buy

00:22:28.700 what does ukraine need they need 155 millimeter artillery shells there aren't any there aren't any

00:22:34.660 this is why the u.s sent them cluster bombs which basically killed children uh because they play with

00:22:39.440 them after the war um we don't have any 155s neither does the uk neither do the nato allies

00:22:45.340 czechoslovakia which is major or sorry the czech republic which is a major arms producer they were

00:22:50.780 authorized by nato to go out and find some 155 millimeter shells from global arms dealers usually 0.95

00:22:56.460 that we call them you know scumbags or you know dirty uh money whatever uh they can't they can't 0.82

00:23:02.080 find they came up with about 150 000 shells a lot of them are probably duds they need a million they 0.95

00:23:07.120 need a million a month which uh to keep going that they don't have them they're not available anywhere

00:23:11.760 in the world at any price so ukraine's done so there's nothing to do with the 61 billion dollars

00:23:17.300 so why are they doing it here's one of the dirty little secrets if they authorize it it's not like

00:23:23.320 they're going to write a 61 billion dollar check to ukraine they're going to ship ukraine a bunch

00:23:27.800 of used uh bradley fighting vehicles from the 1980s abrams tanks that are left burning on the

00:23:32.720 battlefield uh patriot missile systems a billion dollars apiece that cannot shoot down uh russian

00:23:38.780 hypersonic missiles the zircon and the ishka missiles it's it's all worthless stuff but it's

00:23:44.400 basically like an army surplus store we'll send that over and buy new stuff for ourselves so this is

00:23:49.420 like an arms bill uh the whole thing is a fraud uh i call they the democrats the ruthless party 1.00

00:23:54.820 but i call the republicans sometimes the stupid party because they fall into these democratic traps 0.99

00:23:59.500 so what what the democrats have done they've laid a trap for the republicans and mike johnson's walking 0.99

00:24:04.360 right into it as follows if the republicans somehow shoot this bill down i don't think they will but i

00:24:10.100 mean they're trying but they shoot it down that the ukraine will lose and the democrats will blame the

00:24:15.120 republicans will say well we would have won the war if only you had given us the 61 billion dollars

00:24:19.740 if they approve it um ukraine is still going to lose the war as i described it doesn't make any

00:24:25.720 difference but they'll probably be able to keep it going for six months this is all about the election

00:24:30.500 i mean everyone knows ukraine is lost that's obvious from the battlefield and the economics and a lot

00:24:36.060 else but what uh you know jake sullivan national security advisor he's a campaign hack i mean that's what he

00:24:41.920 does he's a campaign hack they're trying to keep the war going until after the election so maybe maybe

00:24:47.840 biden can win or at least not have another disaster on his watch so the democrats win either way if you

00:24:53.000 shoot it down republicans kept playing for losing the war if you approve it you kind of keep the war

00:24:58.760 going to at least the election maybe it helps biden there is one way out for johnson there's one thing

00:25:03.980 he could do which is uh because he's allowed to just block anything from going to the floor he has that

00:25:10.140 power so why not just say okay we're not voting on that we're just not doing it well again that's

00:25:14.440 where the republicans get blamed for losing the war even though it doesn't really matter but what

00:25:19.380 he could do he could put the bill forward with really really powerful teeth in terms of the border

00:25:24.940 and then say okay hey we passed the ukraine money by the way it's got these amendments that are going to

00:25:29.760 secure the border here you go democrats here you go schumer you don't take it up you want money for

00:25:34.140 ukraine here it is we just handed it to you well of course the democrats won't do that

00:25:38.080 but at least the republicans won't get blamed for not providing the money so so the way out for

00:25:43.280 johnson is to put the border provisions in the ukraine bill pass it send it over to schumer and

00:25:48.780 dare him to sign it you you know these guys well i mean you've been in this business for a long time

00:25:56.340 what is the obsession with brussels and davos and the city of london and wall street and the globalist

00:26:02.880 elites what is their obsession with ukraine i mean we have enough hot spots around the world but

00:26:08.480 there's something particular that uh they've this the the globalist along with the progressive left

00:26:15.140 is all over the ukraine and it's got to be more than just geostrategic because there's something

00:26:21.900 deeper here there's something uglier here what what is your assessment well there is a kind of mental

00:26:27.080 illness you're right and it is an obsession that's the right way to describe it it's not about ukraine it's

00:26:31.780 about putin ukraine was always a way now again you got to put yourself in the mind of you know victoria

00:26:38.020 newland uh fiona hill uh you know etc all these uh you know the the warmongers the neocons etc

00:26:44.760 they're obsessed with putin now their formative years you know we kind of all go back to our

00:26:49.240 education whatever with the 1990s what was going on in the 1990s we had boris yeltsin who was basically

00:26:55.440 drunk you had a total free-for-all they they were nationalizing all sorry they were privatizing all

00:27:01.760 the russian industries uh americans were rushing in building a stock exchange doing all this stuff

00:27:06.140 trying to make a lot of money who ended that who ended the gangster period when there were machine

00:27:10.780 gun you know uh gunfights on the streets of moscow and other cities who ended it it was putin he

00:27:16.620 broke up the game he restored nationalism russia's very strong sense of naturalism his strongest ally i mean

00:27:22.680 okay the military it's not the oligarchs he hates the oligarchs it's the orthodox church it's the

00:27:27.900 patriarch of moscow and that is that is in the in the soul and the guts of every russian so that's

00:27:33.620 where putin's support comes from so he restored all those things but he ended the game he ended the

00:27:38.940 you know the money laundering the the rip-offs the depleting russian resources he ended that they

00:27:44.100 hate him and so ukraine was never more than a pawn to defeat uh putin remember that remember the

00:27:51.040 scenario go back to late 2021 early 2022 before the russian special military operation for example we

00:27:57.520 provoked it i understand russia moved moved in but we provoked it we spent you know since 2008

00:28:02.600 we provoking plus the uh the coup in 2014 so as we provoked the war we want the war we got the war

00:28:08.560 okay nice job you know uh victoria newland but what they thought was ukraine will bleed the russian 1.00

00:28:15.540 military machine dry we'll defeat them on the battlefield we'll use up the money the people will rise up and

00:28:20.680 they'll get rid of putin completely won't jim hang on one second just stick around do the break

00:29:48.520 patriot supply.com my patriot supply.com take action on this today go over there they're the best in the

00:29:55.820 business talk to the consultants my patriot supply.com

00:30:10.360 okay welcome back uh jim rickerts you're not a gold bug i i i became acquainted with your thinking

00:30:31.740 on currency war by the way when you go to rickertswarroom.com you get a free currency war

00:30:36.980 uh this book had a fundamental fundamentally changed my thinking that's how important it is

00:30:44.460 um and uh jim i found out later uh was uh is it teaches our instructor at the with the army war college

00:30:51.760 uh teaches a financial uh war teaches economic warfare which i've always argued we don't need

00:30:57.980 trillion dollar defense budgets uh if we uh act smartly and we can act smartly you're not a gold bug

00:31:06.000 but gold's at 2405 and i recommend everybody go to birch gold and check out talk to the team over

00:31:11.920 there about this because we don't give financial advice here but 20 20 it's broken 2400 jim it's

00:31:18.860 there's something weird happening explain to us we got we got these massive deficits uh the market's

00:31:24.220 now saying there there's a huge uh tremor inside behind closed doors that you can't sell all these

00:31:29.740 securities kind of yelling and powell have screwed this thing up before what we pointed out they did in

00:31:34.680 early december uh people are kind of starting to panic uh the dollar is you know visa gold is this

00:31:42.880 it's just it's outrageous what's happening walk us through your assessment and you remember

00:31:48.340 rickerts is not a gold bug he's not he's not one of these gold guys jim rickerts yeah i do uh i do

00:31:55.080 consider gold a monetary asset but i'm not a gold bug i mean there are issues with the gold standard

00:31:59.940 etc well a couple things steve number one we're not going to have any difficulty selling treasury

00:32:05.220 securities and here's why if china doesn't want them and brazil doesn't want them and saudi arabia

00:32:10.140 doesn't want them they have quite a lot by the way one phone call to jamie diamond will take care of

00:32:15.740 the problem it was the u.s banks will buy them and if they're told to they will do it in the 1950s

00:32:21.760 u.s banks had maybe 40 percent of their assets in u.s treasuries today it's about five or six percent

00:32:27.620 so there's plenty of headroom now that that's not without consequences in other words it could

00:32:32.560 mean interest rates go up it could mean there's less money available for commercial lending and

00:32:36.980 and other could impact the impact the economy negatively but we will we'll always be able

00:32:41.360 to sell the treasury isn't that jamie diamond and jp morgan don't want to buy them but but hang on it is

00:32:46.540 but this yeah but this is also how we got into the bailout of silicon valley banking guys right i mean

00:32:52.360 if you're if you buy these securities because the government's basically telling you securities

00:32:56.000 you're buying biden bonds and you've got to sit through those biden bonds and if if rates to

00:33:01.480 if things keep going up this is what they're concerned about this the commercial the the

00:33:06.760 regional banks right now with the real estate and if you really look at their balance sheets

00:33:11.060 people are questioning you haven't marked to market that the stinking festering sore of biden bonds they

00:33:17.300 have today is if you do that which by the way you're absolutely correct aren't we then isn't that the

00:33:22.720 way you paper over a crisis for the beginning but you build up for a 2008 type meltdown sir

00:33:28.200 that that's exactly right you can get you can model through all this in the short run but you're

00:33:32.260 making bigger creating bigger problems down the road but the road keeps getting shorter we keep getting

00:33:36.080 closer uh to the crack up so yeah the thing with silicon valley bank and you're exactly right steve

00:33:40.780 they had to market to market if you want to buy a treasury note five-year treasury note and interest

00:33:45.880 rates go up the value of the note goes down you lose money on that well if you don't have to

00:33:50.620 account for that if you can just hold it at the old value you kind of paper over to cover it up

00:33:55.560 but if you do have to account for it uh then the loss shows up and your capital goes away that is

00:34:01.380 what happened to silicon valley bank they started to sell them the minute you sell some you got to

00:34:05.400 mark in the market and that's what took them down guess who does not mark to market the federal

00:34:10.100 reserve so they can pile these things up if they have to so the issue isn't really selling the

00:34:15.300 treasury bonds it's it's what happens to interest rates and what happens to the exchange rate the

00:34:19.980 foreign exchange rate uh and then people say well the dollar is stronger than ever well whenever

00:34:25.080 anyone says that to me i'll say well how do you know that what are you using to measure it usually

00:34:29.240 stops the conversation because they don't know what they're talking about but you know someone

00:34:32.900 more knowledgeable will say well you know the euro is going down which is true the yen is going down

00:34:37.100 which is true it's about the lowest since uh about 1990 um uh the chinese yuan is going down again

00:34:43.320 that's all true so if that's how you measure the dollar or use a basket the dollar is getting

00:34:48.620 stronger but all of those currencies the dollar the yen the yuan the euro all of them are going

00:34:54.360 down against gold gold is the only legitimate measuring stick because it's the only one that's

00:34:59.280 not a currency gold is a monetary asset it's a store of value it's everyone should have some in

00:35:05.500 my view in your portfolio but it's not you know you can't walk down and buy a cup of coffee with a gold

00:35:10.020 coin at least not very easily but but my point being it's the only measuring stick that's not

00:35:16.260 itself a paper currency and that means it's the most valid what's what's going on to all the

00:35:20.800 currency they're crashing they're collapsing gold is up uh from about 1850 uh 1800 uh yeah 1850

00:35:28.620 dollars an ounce to 2400 an ounce in less than three months that's a 30 percent increase in gold

00:35:34.900 everyone says gold's going up the way i think about it the dollar's crashing gold is just gold

00:35:39.840 it's atomic number 79 it's a metal just kind of sits there what's happening is the dollar is

00:35:44.400 crashing when you measure it against gold so that's the yardstick whether you buy gold or not whether

00:35:49.460 you like gold or not that's up to you but if you want to know how the dollar is doing compare it to

00:35:53.720 gold and you'll see that the dollar is crashing records you've got all now the imf everybody's

00:36:00.780 saying and they actually had reports out saying hey even the good numbers on gdp and these numbers

00:36:05.520 are all driven by this massive keynesian um the keynesian stimulus that biden these guys still do

00:36:12.140 on capitol hill we had good on yesterday they haven't even agreed to a top line number for the

00:36:17.460 budget year uh that we've got to finish by september 30th that top line but that top line is going to

00:36:22.660 have another trillion to two trillion dollar deficit in it how unsustainable is this i think people now

00:36:29.220 are starting to wake up that the war room and rickard's been talking about this for years but it's

00:36:33.520 catching a lot of people by surprise how unsustainable is the current trajectory we're on

00:36:39.340 well it is unsustainable but then the the question is how does it actually play out in terms of the

00:36:44.580 real economy what are the effects that we see uh the best way to measure is see if people throw

00:36:48.840 big numbers around and big numbers we have 37 trillion dollars in national debt by the way

00:36:54.160 a trillion is a thousand billions or 37 000 billions one way to think about it that's a big number uh

00:37:01.260 deficits are big exactly as you described they're getting well over two trillion per year they'll be

00:37:06.660 getting closer to three trillion so those are all big numbers but the best way to understand it is to

00:37:11.920 compare the amount of debt to the gdp gdp this is the size of the u.s economy so there's a ratio the

00:37:18.140 numerator is the amount of debt and the denominator is the gdp that number is about 132 the highest in u.s

00:37:27.360 history that's the number that should scare people uh by the way russia is about 17 percent

00:37:32.140 they're they have a very sound economy uh but yeah we're like over 130 percent so what's the effect of

00:37:38.280 that in the end you get hyperinflation but not right away what you get is slow growth just you end up like

00:37:44.800 japan japan has been in a 30 year depression people look at technical recessions but japan has had

00:37:51.080 nine technical recessions in the last 30 years but i think of it as just one long depression and

00:37:57.920 that's what the u.s is going into whatever happened to ronald reagan from 1983 1986 we had 16

00:38:04.140 percent real growth not inflation but real growth in three years today we can barely get to two and a

00:38:10.040 half percent people are applauding biden are you kidding that's ridiculous why aren't we growing at

00:38:14.420 three or four percent that's the effect of that much debt and so in the end it'll be a catastrophe

00:38:19.560 you're right but in the short line you can kind of keep going but there's a very large cost which

00:38:24.680 is growth doesn't keep up real wages do not keep up income distribution gets worse uh this is why

00:38:31.240 not just that in the middle class is practically gone you basically you've got a small elite of

00:38:35.460 super wealthy and a large uh i would say lower middle class to uh to impoverished class in this

00:38:40.660 country you're saying that the the best case we can look at right now is uh if it not fall into

00:38:48.800 the clip the best case is what we call the lost decades of japan you have many lost decades in

00:38:54.480 front of us do you believe that with the stagflation these lost decades do you think this is why young

00:38:59.340 people people under 35 are finally starting what i call the new russian serfs do you think that they're

00:39:05.520 awakening now that it's like 50 50 biden uh trump even given all the propaganda how they the education

00:39:13.500 system has twisted their their their ability to have critical thinking do you believe that the

00:39:18.380 serfs are starting to have an awakening that they understand the lived experience their own lives

00:39:23.280 they're going to have lost decades ahead of them sir yeah and if you're if you're you can be perfectly

00:39:29.380 bright well educated but if you're living in your parents basement uh you can't afford a down payment

00:39:34.020 on a house uh or if you can't afford the mortgage by the mortgage rates are almost back up to eight

00:39:39.400 percent they're over seven percent right now they come down a little bit a few months ago but they're

00:39:43.480 back up where they were uh and that's that's the biggest driver a buying house by the way it's not

00:39:48.220 so much the price of the house or the industry it's the monthly payment that's how people think about

00:39:52.680 what's my monthly payment well obviously when interest rates go up your monthly payment goes up

00:39:57.340 and that drives a lot of people out of the housing market so uh yeah they're they're uh then they know

00:40:02.860 from their own experience you know uh hiring is dried up now the unemployment rate is not skyrocketing

00:40:07.940 uh the layoffs are coming along but what has hit a wall is new hiring companies are not laying people

00:40:14.380 off but they stopped hiring so so if you're just getting out of college or you're you've been out

00:40:18.860 for years you're living in your parents home can't afford new house difficult to save and you can't get

00:40:24.700 a job and that's enough to make you look around and say maybe maybe there's somebody better than

00:40:28.200 biden out there uh jim how do people get to your thinking we're really proud to have you as a

00:40:35.220 contributor but we want to make sure people get access to your thinking strategic intelligence is

00:41:15.700 currency war but when we are it can go for 15 or 20 years well here we are you know 13 years later

00:41:21.780 we're still in the currency war washington post a big editorial yesterday yesterday saying you know

00:41:27.880 trump's trying to start a currency war i mean the the reasoning was very muddled but it's still a

00:41:32.500 timely topic so records war room.com uh jim thank you so much for coming on we now hear uh that they

00:42:29.440 to join us they're out at their con their uh conference today the constitutional sheriffs of course

00:42:35.360 the guardian led with a article today in the guardian the left-wing guardian how the constitutional

00:42:40.480 sheriffs are the worst most unlawful people in the country i would beg to differ but we're going to 1.00

00:42:45.640 have the great sheriff mac uh come on here and uh and and talk about it this afternoon also there's 0.51

00:42:50.780 been a lot happening on transgenderism a lot of positive developments along with some negative but

00:42:56.220 a lot of positive developments and brandon showwater's going to be on uh to share that uh with

00:43:01.000 us too so we got a lot on a big pack day of action of uh things going on capitol hill of uh in in

00:43:08.020 commerce and in capital markets uh etc okay we're gonna come over take a short commercial break in a

00:43:14.020 second one thing i want to make sure we had josh pettit from the mckenzie institute on before our

00:43:20.680 masters uh you know always talk we always talk about dr mckenzie before the masters uh and josh made

00:43:26.480 a very good point he said hey steve you're always pitching warpath coffee the dark roast

00:43:30.980 it's actually the medium roast to have more uh more caffeine in it because of the way it's roasted

00:46:12.060 okay um i've moved hard and well to this evening we've also got the constitutional sheriffs this

00:46:20.760 evening there's all kind of things coming out now about how these bills are going to be bundled

00:46:24.160 uh we'll get more into that on the five o'clock show we need to know how we're gonna uh whether

00:46:29.600 we're gonna kill the whole rule how they're going to be bundled it's still i'm a little unclear about

00:46:33.540 this as soon as we get uh clearance or as soon as we get guidance of how this is actually going to be

00:46:38.660 done we'll get back to the ramparts um i can't describe enough the impact this audience has had

00:46:45.660 right people look to influence this audience people look to get to this audience this audience is a

00:46:50.600 powerful force because you're the single biggest backers on a daily basis of president trump

00:46:56.880 and people know that um and people also know that you do have your own independent mind look

00:47:03.400 president trump has uh given the support to johnson i fully understand that um given what's going on

00:47:10.020 uh we don't have to buy into that and we don't buy into that i think 99 of this audience doesn't and

00:47:16.820 all of us were prepared to have an open mind uh about a speaker johnson at the beginning

00:47:22.020 right at the beginning so uh he turned out not to be mega mike he is bought in and this is why i think

00:47:28.760 it's so important of what ross vote said this is a brexit like moment we cannot continue on we're we're

00:47:35.780 we're and you can't paper it over anymore there was one thing with president reagan of taking on

00:47:41.380 the soviet union and remember most of the people in this town jamie raskin's dad all that that were

00:47:48.500 president reagan's biggest enemies on taking down the soviet union are the are the are the people

00:47:55.580 that are the biggest about taking down putin what did jim rickard say and this is not coming from

00:48:01.420 steve bannon rickard says it's not the military it's not the oligarchs his biggest his biggest

00:48:06.060 connection is the orthodox church just saying just saying connect dots just saying so they understand

00:48:16.360 that we're not going to back down we're not going to back down it's not just through talk is through

00:48:21.840 actions action every day it's one of the reasons we're doing the force multiplies reason i got the

00:48:26.620 constitutional sheriffs on uh tonight uh it's the reason that we got we're going to do a two hour with

00:48:32.240 mike lindell tomorrow on the on the machines everything about the machines um because even if

00:48:38.180 you're not a machine person you think it was the mail-in ballots of which i do there's there's the

00:48:42.440 machines that got to go i mean i've been adamant about this i don't understand and i've talked to

00:48:46.800 the smartest guys in technology in the world and this is because of the work of daugherty and and

00:48:51.480 and lindell and these are the people mike lindell brought in and one of the reasons they're trying

00:48:55.180 to bankrupt him is when you see actually the processes and you see the technique sit there and

00:48:59.620 go hang over this thing is a hundred times more complicated it needs to be why are we built in this

00:49:05.180 complexity this should be the moral equivalent of the cash counting machines in vegas

00:49:09.960 right until completely not accurate this thing has got so many loose parts to it it's shocking

00:49:16.660 that's part of things you're going to walk through the more i think what mike lindell has done

00:49:19.780 in the effort to get to paper ballots game day voting all that which is still an aspirational

00:49:27.420 movement is i think to expose the american people something's not right here remember the american

00:49:33.420 people got tremendous common sense collectively tremendous common sense takes a while the reason

00:49:39.880 it takes a while to get to the right decision is normally information is withheld from them when

00:49:45.100 they get the full picture and they have that aha moment their awakening things happen that's what

00:49:52.180 you're seeing right now remember people was abandoned you're so destructive turns everything down i said

00:49:57.140 hey ecclesiastes there's a time and place for everything there's a season for everything now's the

00:50:04.820 season the fight now's the season we're not going to rebuild these institutions because they have not

00:50:10.380 been purged of their corruption it's one of the greatest benefits mike lindells had he's a great

00:50:17.140 entrepreneur he's put his company on the line his employees on the line his personal uh welfare on the

00:50:22.720 line his personal safety on the line hell they try to roll him up at hardy's that's the eli cranes and

00:50:28.760 the mike lindells is that this as you go back you study every revolutionary movement and the one you

00:50:33.100 should study the most is the american revolution because it is the most unique revolution in the

00:50:39.200 history of mankind it's what started us out to really build the new jerusalem was that revolutionary

00:50:46.100 generation of what came before him and what came after right before and right after the uniqueness of

00:50:51.120 the american revolution and people who could have benefited from being part of an empire this is the great

00:50:56.420 thing about the revolution they would have been the ones that benefited the most

00:51:00.160 they would have made bank said no we're not going to do that not going to in a place that has a

00:51:06.500 worthless landed aristocracy that calls the shots and gives monopolistic power grants crown 1.00

00:51:12.840 monopolistic power to people like the british east indica we're not going to do that 0.84

00:51:16.400 and they were a collection of smugglers and freebooters and lawyers and land speculators yes they were not

00:51:23.340 perfect individuals they were just as imperfect as donald trump's imperfect as all mankind's

00:51:28.900 mike lindell's imperfect steve bannon's imperfect i'm maybe most imperfect of all although lindell

00:51:34.120 maybe give me a run for my money mike lindell uh we're going to be with you tomorrow couldn't be

00:51:39.160 more honored uh you're going to be out there today at the constitutional sheriff's give us our audience

00:51:44.140 loves you knows you have it on the line but they love you most i think it's a coin flip they love you

00:51:49.620 most when you're fighting for free elections and platforms that are free or giving them deals

00:51:54.240 maybe i think it's because tomorrow i think it's both and i'm uh i'm actually in uh um on the east

00:52:03.820 coast and i got a whole team of people flying experts and lawyers flying out to vegas right now as

00:54:14.860 think back to 9-11 shortly after the government pushed through the patriot act this gave the

00:54:19.540 government power to spy on innocent americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our

00:54:25.220 movement across the internet now jim rickards editor of the independent financial newsletter

00:54:30.640 strategic intelligence and new york times best-selling author is warning about a coming event

00:54:36.140 that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level in fact some of the guests

00:54:42.240 i've had on the war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every

00:54:47.560 move if we say the wrong things on social media donate to the wrong causes buy firearms or even vote

00:54:54.360 maga the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts i can't say for sure if this

00:55:00.720 will happen but it's an interesting and dire warning fortunately jim rickards an american patriot and

00:55:06.920 friend of mine has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect

00:55:12.600 yourself from the possibility of programmable money watch jim's warning video now before it's censored
