Bannon's War Room - Episode 3614： Congress Moves To Hold Garland In Contempt Over Hur Tapes

00:00:00.000 It protects you both personally. Is that a conflict of interest?

00:00:05.720 The Justice Department is a fundamental institution of our democracy.

00:00:10.380 People depend on us to ensure that our investigations and our prosecutions are conducted according to the facts and the law and without political influence.

00:00:21.500 We have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure that the committees get responses to their legitimate requests.

00:00:34.140 But this is not one. To the contrary, this is one that would harm our ability in the future to successfully pursue sensitive investigations.

00:00:43.100 Now, there have been a series of unprecedented and, frankly, unfounded attacks on the Justice Department.

00:00:54.620 This request, this effort to use contempt as a method of obtaining our sensitive law enforcement files is just the most recent.

00:01:03.520 The effort to threaten, to defund our investigations and the way in which there are contributions to an atmosphere that puts our agents and our prosecutors at risk.

00:01:17.060 These are wrong. Look, the only thing I can do is continue to do the right thing.

00:01:22.540 I will protect this building and its people.

00:01:25.700 You kind of answered this just now, but I was wondering, like, you know, what is this combined with the efforts to defund Jack Smith and the other attacks on Biden administration officials say about, you know, the broader effort to discredit you and to discredit the Justice Department?

00:01:43.760 And also, how do you manage that? How are you resisting that? And what can you do about that as Attorney General?

00:01:49.980 We have to go about our work following the federal principles of prosecution.

00:01:54.080 They said, we follow the facts and the law. We screen out outside inappropriate influences.

00:02:01.360 That's what we're doing here. We're protecting our ability to continue to do high profile and sensitive investigations.

00:02:08.600 And we will continue to do that.

00:02:10.100 Mr. Terry, last question.

00:02:13.080 The facts now seem vanishingly small that the two Jack Smith federal cases are going to begin trial, let alone finish trial this year.

00:02:26.920 What does that say about the pace of the justice system and confidence in this Justice Department?

00:02:33.680 Look, the special counsel brought both cases last year.

00:02:37.300 He appropriately requested speedy trials.

00:02:39.740 The matter is now in the hands of the judiciary, and I'm not going to be able to comment any further.

00:02:44.580 Thank you, everyone. We have to go to the FBI memorial.

00:02:46.960 Thank you, everyone.

00:02:47.800 Do you need a president? It's forgetful.

00:02:49.800 All right. So that was Attorney General Merrick Garland.

00:02:54.320 And just to bring you up to speed, what's going on is that House Republicans,

00:02:58.760 led by the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio,

00:03:02.960 and the chairman of the Oversight Committee, Congressman James Comer of Kentucky,

00:03:07.140 are pushing to get the audio of the special counsel Robert Herr's interview with President Biden.

00:03:15.720 You might remember that in that report in which special counsel Herr said that they were not going to prosecute Joe Biden,

00:03:23.060 they didn't think the case would be prosecutable because Joe Biden would come across well to the jury

00:03:28.380 and as an, quote, elderly man with a poor memory.

00:03:32.800 So that said, the Republicans in Congress want that audio.

00:03:38.580 What is the purpose of that? Let's discuss.

00:03:41.560 Just the sort of choreography of what just happened, that it was the attorney general who almost never speaks out about this stuff,

00:03:48.820 came out and said what he said and defended the president.

00:03:51.920 Right. Because he is facing a contempt of Congress. Exactly.

00:03:54.640 A threat from Congress for not turning over, from Republicans for not turning over this audio.

00:03:59.140 Yeah. And I just think we should dig into what we saw from Merrick Garland there,

00:04:02.300 because remember, this is a man that Joe Biden selected to run his Justice Department

00:04:06.720 in an incredibly charged environment with an outgoing president in the wake of January 6th.

00:04:11.760 And Merrick Garland was designed to try to protect the Department of Justice,

00:04:16.900 to make it seem unimpeachable, quite literally, no pun intended, to and he handled the special counsel situation,

00:04:26.220 the prosecution of Donald Trump in a way that a lot of Democrats were very frustrated by

00:04:30.700 because he was so reluctant to put his Justice Department into a perceived political position.

00:04:36.960 And for him to actually come out there and make that very strong statement about how there are all of these comments

00:04:41.800 that have been made about the Justice Department to say that these threats against his,

00:04:46.560 that what has happened to some of his prosecutors amount to threats to their safety.

00:04:50.660 He is entering this conversation that we are collectively having as a country that is a political conversation

00:04:55.460 in a way I don't think we've seen Merrick Garland do before.

00:04:58.280 I mean, he's not, the reason he is speaking is not to be a spokesperson for the White House.

00:05:02.800 He is the central character here because he is being called by these committees for contempt of Congress

00:05:07.740 for not authorizing the release of this.

00:05:09.880 I mean, that's why he is speaking as he was walking out to an FBI memorial.

00:05:12.840 So, legally, this may be very sound.

00:05:15.820 We'll let the lawyers talk about this.

00:05:16.980 Politically, the optics of this clearly are not very good.

00:05:20.060 And this is something we are going to be hearing about repeatedly, is my guess, for the next five minutes.

00:05:24.440 All right.

00:05:27.580 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.

00:05:32.480 Pray for our enemies.

00:05:34.440 Because we're going medieval on these people.

00:05:36.320 Here's one time I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.

00:05:41.960 The people have had a belly full of it.

00:05:43.920 I know you don't like hearing that.

00:05:45.320 I know you've tried to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it.

00:05:48.000 It's going to happen.

00:05:49.280 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?

00:05:52.660 Mega media.

00:05:54.020 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

00:05:59.420 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?

00:06:02.560 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

00:06:09.480 War Room.

00:06:10.400 Here's your host, Stephen K.

00:06:12.480 Bannon.

00:06:13.660 Four, three, two, one.

00:06:17.580 Thursday, 16 May, You're of Our Lord, 2024.

00:06:20.400 2024, when I go to sleep every night, I take comfort in the fact that I had a small role in making sure that that scummy little worm, Merrick Garland, did not get a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court.

00:06:33.600 Because if Hillary Clinton had won on 8 November of 2016 in the year of our Lord, he would have been on the Supreme Court. 0.98

00:06:40.500 And he is a worm. 0.94

00:06:41.720 Just to get you up to speed. 0.89

00:06:43.620 And make sure you understand this is all because of your efforts.

00:06:47.540 This is 100% this audience.

00:06:50.560 What was happening today?

00:06:52.120 Happening today was both judiciary and oversight.

00:06:57.140 Both committees were doing a criminal contempt markup on Merrick Garland for withholding the audiotapes of the interview that Biden did, I think with the ghostwriter, that shows his obvious understanding and knowledge of the classified documents he was turning over and letting the guy see and not taking care of.

00:07:20.460 Damning evidence, damning evidence, damning evidence, damning evidence that Biden's White House and Biden's Justice Department's hiding, you know what they came out today?

00:07:31.180 That big announcement right there, that little worm.

00:07:33.740 Oh, we're getting unprecedented attacks.

00:07:35.400 They're saying mean things. 1.00

00:07:36.280 Hey, we're going to say a lot more mean things about you, you scumbag. 1.00

00:07:39.500 You and Lisa Monaco and Jeffrey, you're thugs. 1.00

00:07:42.440 You're nothing but thugs, you little worm. 1.00

00:07:45.020 And why don't you step up to a mic and talk like a man? 1.00

00:07:48.020 Stop with a broken voice.

00:07:48.980 It's like you're whining and crying all the time. 1.00

00:07:51.820 You're a scumbag. 1.00

00:07:53.160 Let me repeat this. 1.00

00:07:54.360 You're a thug. 1.00

00:07:55.600 Lisa Monaco's a thug. 1.00

00:07:57.440 Chris Ray's a thug. 0.98

00:07:59.000 And we're going to continue on and press the bet even more because now we know you're running and hiding. 0.93

00:08:07.120 Mike Davis joins us now.

00:08:08.640 Mike, the criminal, this is what it took.

00:08:10.800 It took all the way to the committees, get a markup, and they're going to drop it next week.

00:08:14.860 These guys run.

00:08:15.820 And what do they got to do?

00:08:16.640 They got to withhold this information after all the criminality.

00:08:19.700 And this is why I hope finally Speaker Johnson understands they're going to play smash mouth every second of every day.

00:08:29.020 The only thing they understand and the only thing they respect is smash mouth.

00:08:33.280 And Johnson's got to get off his duff and make sure he empowers justice or he empowers judiciary and oversight to get real.

00:08:43.260 We've actually got some breaking news on that and what judiciary is doing.

00:08:45.840 But this is, quite frankly, even bigger.

00:08:47.920 I think it's a response to, by the way, the Colangelo letter that went in today from Jim Jordan.

00:08:53.140 But put it in perspective, Mike, you've been on this Mar-a-Lago raid.

00:08:57.380 You saw what they're doing now.

00:08:58.960 They're trying to hide.

00:09:00.400 There's no call for executive privilege here.

00:09:03.800 This is purely evidence in a criminal investigation, sir.

00:09:06.980 President Biden disregarded 250 years of constitutional executive privilege going back to George Washington.

00:09:17.660 So Biden could orchestrate an unprecedented raid on President Trump in the office of former presidents to get back presidential records that President Trump was allowed to have under the Presidential Records Act.

00:09:33.620 Now, President Biden, through his attorney general, is trying to hide behind executive privilege to prevent the American people from hearing how Biden knowingly stole highly classified materials from his time as vice president, even as senator.

00:09:52.940 And he shared these highly classified materials with his ghostwriter so he could get an $8 million advance on a book that no one other than lobbyists in D.C. will ever buy and read.

00:10:08.140 So Biden put our national security at grave risk for his personal financial gain.

00:10:16.180 And now Joe Biden is leading a cover up.

00:10:19.900 Right. So House Republicans must obtain these recordings showing that the Biden Justice Department covered up Biden's clear espionage as part of as part of the House Republicans impeachment authority.

00:10:36.820 Remember, Biden eviscerated constitutional executive privilege for Peter Navarro, President Trump's trade director inside the White House, who is sitting in prison right now.

00:10:50.260 They eviscerated constitutional executive privilege for you, Steve Bannon, one of President Trump's top outside political presidential advisers.

00:11:00.180 And this Biden Justice Department, Merrick Garland, ignored that when they prosecuted Peter Navarro and put him in prison.

00:11:16.900 They ignored that when they prosecuted you and you're you're about to go to prison.

00:11:21.680 This is this is this is this is just absolutely unacceptable that Merrick Garland and Joe Biden are now trying to claim executive privilege to hide Biden's clear espionage for his personal financial gain.

00:11:37.920 They're trying to hide behind executive privilege after they eviscerate it for President Trump during his four years.

00:11:43.820 Hell no. House Republicans need to put the pedal to the metal. 1.00

00:11:48.000 Mike, I hope because you've been one of the apostles of this.

00:11:52.040 I hope finally, finally, the House Republicans understand how much the Biden regime keeps them, holds them in contempt.

00:12:00.400 It took the markup and it took the announcement that, hey, judiciary is going to start at 10 this morning and oversight,

00:12:07.960 because I think some of the oversight folks actually are in New York to show support for President Trump at the other illegitimate show.

00:12:16.180 Moscow show trial of President Trump that they were going to start at 8 p.m.

00:12:20.260 tonight. But these are going to be done in the next 24 hours and get ready to be taken to the overall house and issued criminal contempt for Biden for Garland,

00:12:28.920 which would jam them up since they've used that weapon backing Nancy Pelosi against Trump's advisers and President Trump.

00:12:36.100 Also, people have got to remember, remember, the the the ghostwriter already erased.

00:12:41.860 Remember, he had tapes of Biden, too. He already erased types.

00:12:44.980 And I think he also had eight memoirs that he erased.

00:12:48.060 That's why these tapes with Biden, the ones that he got are so absolutely important.

00:12:53.380 This all came because of the criminal contempt markup and letting it know that they were getting getting serious.

00:12:59.640 What should the House do now that we know what works now that we know when you go on offense, these rats start scrambling?

00:13:08.360 What should happen next?

00:13:09.720 We should keep going. We should be issuing instead of strongly worded letters, we should be issuing subpoenas, subpoenas for documents, subpoenas for witnesses, subpoenas for staff depositions.

00:13:22.860 And if they want to claim executive privilege, take them to court.

00:13:26.860 If they want to claim some other privilege, take them to court, hold them in contempt.

00:13:31.260 And even if Merrick Garland doesn't prosecute contempt, the Trump 47 Justice Department Department certainly should and probably will starting on January 20th, 2025.

00:13:43.400 So I have a whole bunch of these contempt prosecutions ready to go from the House of Representatives that you can send over to the Trump Justice Department on day one with a little bow wrapped around it so we can get moving on prosecuting President Biden and these Democrats.

00:14:00.140 I may actually I may we may actually put that into your viceroy category.

00:14:04.320 Mike, just hang on. I want to get to Jim Jordan.

00:14:06.580 Other things about the trial, a lot else going on.

00:14:09.220 And of course, they had Lisa Monaco, Ray and in Garland, the three thugs, had a press conference the other day to try to intimidate MAGA from carrying out their legal duty.

00:14:22.480 And quite frankly, the requirements of citizens of this country to make sure you don't steal the election like you stole in 2020, Garland.

00:14:29.400 We're not going to let that happen. We don't care how many press conferences you have.

00:14:32.820 You're going to be watched. We're putting the stink eye on you.

00:14:34.960 You're going to be watched every second of every day.

00:14:37.200 OK, we know what you're trying to do to this.

00:14:39.700 You're trying to steal it outright, steal it.

00:14:42.600 And it's not going to happen. You stole it in 2020.

00:14:45.420 You got an illegitimate regime that the usurpers that are occupying 1600 Pennsylvania temporarily.

00:14:53.000 Right. The regime's about to come to end. That's why the rats are scrambling.

00:14:56.440 Short break.

00:14:57.080 Can your savings weather an economic storm? Think about what you've put away for the future.

00:15:05.360 Inflation can render cash worthless.

00:15:09.200 Real estate can crash like in 2008.

00:15:11.800 Economies built on a mountain of debt can fall like a house of cards.

00:15:16.140 There are very few physical assets you can invest in that can stand the test of time.

00:15:21.040 Gold has withstood this as a valued form of money for millennia.

00:15:26.820 I actually think for 8000 years of man's recorded history.

00:15:30.720 It's why people are flocking to it now.

00:15:32.480 Why Birch Gold is busier than ever through a little known tax loophole.

00:15:37.020 Birch Gold lets you convert a retirement account into a tax sheltered IRA in physical gold.

00:15:43.240 And the best part, it doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket.

00:15:46.760 Let me repeat that doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket.

00:15:49.860 To learn more about this, to immerse yourself in information, text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 and claim your free info kit on gold.

00:16:00.100 Let me ask you this again.

00:16:03.300 Can your IRA or 401k weather an economic storm because a storm's coming?

00:16:08.500 If it can't, call the people I trust.

00:16:11.500 That's Birch Gold.

00:16:12.240 Text Bannon to 989898.

00:16:15.360 Secure your savings today.

00:16:17.840 Birch Gold Group.

00:16:18.700 And President Biden's personal counsel likely had access to before they were finalized.

00:16:25.460 The department has a legal obligation to turn over the requested materials pursuant to the subpoena.

00:16:31.320 Attorney General Garland's will for refusal to comply with our subpoena constitutes contempt of Congress.

00:16:38.060 Now today, this morning, we get an 11th hour invocation of executive privilege.

00:16:42.740 President Biden is asserting executive privilege for the same reason we need the audio recordings.

00:16:47.960 They offer a unique perspective.

00:16:50.620 This last minute invocation does not change the fact that the Attorney General has not compiled, excuse me, complied with our subpoena.

00:16:59.280 With that, I would recognize the ranking member for an opening statement.

00:17:02.100 Thank you, Mr. Chairman.

00:17:06.780 20 million taxpayer dollars.

00:17:09.400 Here we go.

00:17:10.100 Chairman Jordan.

00:17:10.920 Here we go.

00:17:12.260 This is why you've got to be tough.

00:17:13.820 You just heard Jim Jordan right there saying they're going to continue with the markup, which is great.

00:17:18.320 You've got to get the criminal contempt against this guy.

00:17:20.420 Now you're going to have Nadler and this whole crowd up there hammering back, as they should.

00:17:25.640 Hey, this is what it is.

00:17:26.900 They should have a ranking member.

00:17:28.540 They should have minority counsel.

00:17:30.120 They should get all the evidence.

00:17:31.620 They should cross-examine the witnesses.

00:17:33.200 This is what they didn't do on January 6th.

00:17:37.140 This is the way Congress should run.

00:17:39.780 We have no problem with that.

00:17:41.380 In fact, we support that.

00:17:42.400 I just don't want to listen to it.

00:17:43.860 And I know you don't want to listen to it.

00:17:45.200 If you hate MSMEC as much as you hate them, you don't want to listen to these guys more.

00:17:50.420 Mike Davis, why is it important to continue down this path?

00:17:54.120 And you just heard Jordan right there, Chairman Jordan, lay out the fact that they're not trusting anything coming out of the Justice Department.

00:18:00.440 This Justice Department is so crooked.

00:18:02.560 By the way, if we can get rid of that clip of Garland whining at the top, I'm going to want to play that along with the Congresswoman yesterday.

00:18:09.860 Audience, this is all you.

00:18:12.200 This is your calls.

00:18:13.360 This is you going to Article 3 and becoming active over there.

00:18:16.340 This is working with Grace and Moe and becoming active and up in people's faces and talking to your congressman.

00:18:24.320 This is solely because this markup's come because you've demanded it.

00:18:28.760 You've demanded people be held accountable.

00:18:31.160 And now that Congress is starting to respond and starting to act, you see exactly, and the rats come out immediately. 0.51

00:18:39.100 Mike Davis.

00:18:39.740 Yeah, listen to Attorney General Merrick Garland's statement.

00:18:44.340 We are in his head.

00:18:45.620 He is rattled.

00:18:46.580 He's talking about defunding, how we're trying to defund these investigations before the election, how we're supposed to, how we're issuing subpoenas.

00:18:55.760 They are now on defense in the Biden Justice Department, and they're on defense for the first time in 22 months.

00:19:02.500 And I commend the House Judiciary Committee, Jim Jordan, the Oversight Committee, James Cobra.

00:19:09.360 They're doing good work now.

00:19:10.760 We're finally firing on all cylinders.

00:19:13.580 We should have been doing this 22 months ago, but I'm pleased we're finally firing on all cylinders instead of in week five of the unprecedented criminal trial of a former president,

00:19:23.860 and likely future president, like we've seen with Alvin Bragg's bogus case up in Europe, but we need to keep going.

00:19:30.520 We need to keep the pressure on the Democrats.

00:19:33.900 This is a zero-sum game.

00:19:36.960 When the Democrats are on defense, like they are right now, finally, they're not on offense, right?

00:19:42.080 And we need to keep going.

00:19:43.600 We need to put the pedal to the pedal and run them over.

00:19:46.460 Yeah.

00:19:47.440 If Denver – do we have the Garland piece about that?

00:19:50.320 Okay, I'm going to play Garland again.

00:19:52.020 Audience, a lot happening today.

00:19:55.120 We've been going on offense because of you.

00:19:57.600 The people are starting to do things.

00:19:59.340 It's not totally and completely organized, but it'll get there, okay?

00:20:03.580 You've got a lot of units, a lot of Army Corps here, a couple of divisions here.

00:20:09.160 It's all a little disparate right now, but it's all going to converge on a point.

00:20:13.060 It's going to converge on a point.

00:20:14.360 And Merrick Garland understands that. 0.97

00:20:17.260 These are not dumb people. 1.00

00:20:18.720 They're evil people, but they're not stupid. 0.99

00:20:21.440 They see exactly what's coming for them, and that's why they're putting out the big 0.99

00:20:24.860 chop blocks right now to try to slow this down.

00:20:27.440 Let's have Merrick Garland.

00:20:28.660 Let's hear what he has to say.

00:20:29.600 And by the way, I have never – Mike Davis, I know you have – an attorney general to

00:20:33.700 admit this.

00:20:34.860 Let's go ahead and play it.

00:20:35.760 Now, there have been a series of unprecedented and, frankly, unfounded attacks on the Justice

00:20:45.460 Department.

00:20:46.960 This request, this effort to use contempt as a method of obtaining our sensitive law enforcement

00:20:53.920 files is just the most recent.

00:20:55.840 The effort to threaten, to defund our investigations and the way in which there are contributions

00:21:04.120 to an atmosphere that puts our agents and our prosecutors at risk, these are wrong.

00:21:11.000 Look, the only thing I can do is continue to do the right thing.

00:21:13.880 I will protect this building and its people.

00:21:20.060 You notice he didn't say he'd protect the Constitution.

00:21:23.220 You notice he didn't say he'd protect the United States of America.

00:21:25.560 It's all about him.

00:21:26.640 It's all about him, and he's rattled.

00:21:28.760 Mike Davis, you've been at this game a lot longer than I have.

00:21:31.920 Have you ever heard an attorney general that rattled in your life? 0.99

00:21:36.380 He is such a weak little political tyrant, and we have this rat cornered, right? 0.98

00:21:42.860 And first of all, thank God that my former boss, Neil Gorsuch, is on the Supreme Court 0.99

00:21:48.040 and not Merrick Garland, this little political weasel.

00:21:51.360 Thank you, President Trump, for winning that election in 2016 and transforming the Supreme

00:21:57.580 Court.

00:21:57.900 We would be in a much more dire place right now if it were that win.

00:22:02.100 We have a Hillary Clinton-dominated Supreme Court, and we would be cooked as a country.

00:22:07.460 And I would say this to Merrick Garland.

00:22:08.740 How dare you accuse people of threatening federal law enforcement and agents with violence for

00:22:16.040 merely raising these very legitimate constitutional concerns that we have?

00:22:21.820 We're not going to play that game.

00:22:23.000 They tried to do this nonsense when they illegally gagged Trump, because apparently if you raise

00:22:29.160 issues about the process and how that process is unfair and how a judge is biased and witnesses

00:22:34.740 are biased, somehow you're threatening the process, you're threatening the judge.

00:22:39.780 This is the same attorney general who said that these abortion industry activists had a First

00:22:46.140 Amendment right somehow to dox Supreme Court justices and their families and to hold illegal

00:22:51.940 obstruction of justice campaigns outside of the Supreme Court justices' homes, even after

00:22:58.240 these Supreme Court justices had to go to safe houses, even after Justice Kavanaugh faced

00:23:05.820 a 1 a.m. assassination attempt with his wife Ashley and their two teenage daughters.

00:23:09.920 Merrick Garland can go to hell when he says that raising these concerns somehow threatened

00:23:16.780 federal law enforcement. 0.89

00:23:18.040 He doesn't give a damn about federal law enforcement.

00:23:20.420 He cares about protecting Joe Biden and himself.

00:23:23.540 And I'll tell you this, come January 20th, 2025, when the Trump 47 Justice Department is back

00:23:29.540 in office, guess what, Merrick Garland?

00:23:31.980 You are going to be the subject of a criminal probe for conspiracy against rights under 18 U.S.C.

00:23:40.060 241 for allowing your Department of Justice to get politicized and weaponized to go after 0.99

00:23:46.940 Trump while you coddle Joe Biden and his scumbag crackhead son Hunter and his corrupt brother James 1.00

00:23:55.100 and the rest of the Biden family. 1.00

00:23:56.060 It seems like every Biden family member is on the foreign take.

00:24:01.180 $20 million that James Comer's been able to track from these foreign oligarchs and what seems like every

00:24:07.580 Biden family member's bank account, except for the six-year-old granddaughter who they don't claim.

00:24:12.380 They finally claimed under political pressure, screw you, Merrick Garland, we're coming after

00:24:16.620 you after January 20th, 2025, legally, financially, and politically.

00:24:21.780 You want to play this game?

00:24:23.020 We're going to play this game.

00:24:24.760 If Denver could put up, I think I got up to him this morning, the letter that Jim Jordan

00:24:28.720 sent.

00:24:29.080 Now, let's on a different track.

00:24:30.160 Because do we have to wait for President Trump to come back and make you to Viceroy on an interim

00:24:36.540 basis until we get some guys confirmed?

00:24:39.060 Can't we go now?

00:24:40.140 You see this letter from Jordan, which is separate from, ladies and gentlemen, this markup of

00:24:45.460 the criminal contempt of Merrick Garland on withholding the audio of Biden proving he was

00:24:53.100 guilty, right?

00:24:54.360 Proving he's guilty.

00:24:55.400 That's where they're hiding it.

00:24:56.400 And now exerting, at the last second, at the 11th hour, executive privilege, right?

00:25:02.720 Where Peter Navarro rots in a federal prison in Florida.

00:25:07.160 They sent a letter today or last night.

00:25:09.940 Now, it's a strongly worded letter.

00:25:11.260 I got it.

00:25:11.840 But it's about Colangelo.

00:25:13.340 Doesn't this show you that we don't have to wait for Trump?

00:25:16.680 We don't have to wait for you.

00:25:17.960 And we don't have to wait for Jeff Clark.

00:25:19.380 We don't have to wait for the cavalry.

00:25:21.240 Can't we start that criminal investigation on these people right now?

00:25:25.340 Well, we won't call it a criminal investigation.

00:25:28.860 We're going to call it an oversight investigation so we can change potential legislation because

00:25:33.700 we have to have a legislative purpose, of course, Steve.

00:25:36.120 And then also, we can also have an impeachment probe, which is beyond legislative purpose.

00:25:41.300 But you're exactly right, Steve.

00:25:43.480 We need to be constantly on offense right now.

00:25:46.160 And the reason Merrick Garland is out there crying and peeing down his leg is because of

00:25:51.740 the contempt.

00:25:52.280 It's not the strongly worded letter.

00:25:54.720 Letters are nice.

00:25:55.560 But what actually will get Merrick Garland to pee down his leg is a contempt proceeding,

00:26:00.800 right?

00:26:01.100 Vote on contempt.

00:26:02.400 Issue subpoenas when they don't respond to subpoenas.

00:26:06.680 Hold them in contempt.

00:26:07.740 And even if Merrick Garland doesn't prosecute the contempt or his Justice Department doesn't

00:26:12.260 prosecute the contempt, like I said, have all of these criminal investigations wrapped up

00:26:18.600 in a nice little bow for January 20th, 2025, so Trump's acting attorney general can prosecute

00:26:24.760 immediately.

00:26:27.840 It was, I just want to ask you before we go to break, and I'd like to hold you through

00:26:31.160 the break.

00:26:31.540 Jason Trent is going to join us.

00:26:32.700 We're going to cut back to the committee.

00:26:34.000 We're going to juggle a lot of balls today.

00:26:35.340 We've got people in New York going to come about President Trump.

00:26:38.340 Did it, in your mind, raise itself to the level when they stonewalled about the tapes?

00:26:42.940 Did it raise to the level, given they've got plenty of time, they've been subpoenaed, did

00:26:47.540 it raise to the level of an actual contempt charge?

00:26:50.720 It not only raised to the level of contempt, it raised to the level of impeachment, because

00:26:56.140 they are corrupting the Justice Department to protect their boss.

00:27:01.980 And they are doing backflips to protect Joe Biden after they've broken every norm.

00:27:09.320 They've broken presidential immunity.

00:27:11.840 They've broken executive privilege to go after Trump, his top aides like Peter Navarro

00:27:16.780 and you, Steve, his attorneys like John Eastman and Jeff Clark, his January 6th supporters.

00:27:22.560 Look, Merrick Garland is proving that he has politicized and weaponized this Justice Department

00:27:28.940 to protect his boss and his allies and to go after his political enemies.

00:27:34.760 And that is not only contemptible, it's impeachable.

00:27:37.960 So, House Republicans, keep going.

00:27:41.160 Keep going.

00:27:41.780 This is where the Democrats are going to be in full retreat.

00:27:45.540 Hunt them down legally, politically, and financially.

00:27:49.460 Mike, just hang on for one second.

00:27:50.980 We're going to juggle a few balls here.

00:27:52.340 We've got some capital markets, economics to get into.

00:27:55.560 We've got the trial.

00:27:56.860 Got a lot going on this morning.

00:27:58.240 Just bear with us.

00:27:59.220 Birchgold.com.

00:28:01.460 The still point in a turning financial world might be gold.

00:28:05.700 Go check it out today with the guys at Birchgold.

00:28:08.020 Birchgold.com slash Ben and Philip Patrick and the team are available to talk to you right now.

00:28:14.560 Go check it out.

00:28:18.120 I want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money in our bank accounts.

00:28:23.460 First, think back to 9-11, shortly after the government pushed through the Patriot Act.

00:28:28.320 This gave the government power to spy on innocent Americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across the Internet.

00:28:36.660 Now, Jim Rickards, editor of the independent financial newsletter Strategic Intelligence and New York Times bestselling author, is warning about a coming event that could elevate this governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level.

00:28:49.500 In fact, some of the guests I've had on The War Room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move.

00:28:57.420 If we say the wrong things on social media, donate to the wrong causes, buy firearms, or even vote MAGA, the government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts.

00:29:08.300 I can't say for sure if this will happen, but it's an interesting and dire warning.

00:29:13.720 Fortunately, Jim Rickards, an American patriot and friend of mine, has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself from the possibility of programmable money.

00:29:26.320 Watch Jim's warning video now before it's censored like I've been in the past.

00:29:31.920 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.

00:29:33.940 That's RickardsWarRoom.com.

00:29:35.680 Now, to see the video.

00:29:37.400 The embarrassment of recent hearings today, Donald Trump and his cronies don't think that the chairman is doing enough.

00:29:46.180 We're here today simply because Donald Trump's sycophants have been taunting the members of this committee on the GOP side and judiciary Republicans for not doing anything tangible to defend Trump against our judicial system.

00:30:03.260 Lackeys like Natalie Winters, a Trump loyalist and an executive producer for Steve Bannon's show, have been mocking Chairman Jordan's leadership of the committee openly.

00:30:15.240 As you can see up there, when the House Judiciary tweeted, imagine actually believing Michael Cohen, she retweeted and said, imagine actually believing at GOP, at judiciary GOP will do anything about it.

00:30:34.260 Just as one example, on Monday, she put that tweet up and then Fox's Maria Bartiroma and Steve Bannon himself have gotten into the act.

00:30:46.880 And here they are.

00:30:48.140 Why aren't you being louder about this?

00:30:50.360 Why aren't I hearing anything from this committee?

00:30:53.240 I had to just ask you about it.

00:30:55.240 OK, we are just let me be clear.

00:30:58.120 Viewers are sick and tired of hearings.

00:31:00.500 They're sick and tired of letters.

00:31:02.480 They're sick and tired of hearing complaints.

00:31:04.820 They want action.

00:31:06.200 President Trump is in a trial.

00:31:08.360 OK, this is the key.

00:31:10.980 And of course, you saw the rest of it.

00:31:12.860 It is you, this audience.

00:31:15.020 Pressure, pressure, pressure, constant pressure.

00:31:19.060 Being on offense.

00:31:21.160 That is what's turning this around.

00:31:22.520 Mike Davis is going to join us back.

00:31:23.880 We're going to get into the committee.

00:31:25.920 Mike's going to tell us a lot of the audience and some of the engine room are asking Mike to walk us through the process of contempt.

00:31:32.100 What does it mean?

00:31:33.200 What is he talking about impeachment?

00:31:34.240 This is pretty big news today. 0.83

00:31:36.020 Remember, Merrick Garland hiding the rats in the White House.

00:31:39.120 These are the same people that have conspired and colluded against President Trump consistently.

00:31:46.140 Don't take it from me.

00:31:47.240 Wait to June 27th, 28th and 29th in a federal court down in Florida, in South Florida, where Judge Cannon is going to put Jack Smith on trial.

00:31:57.200 And an evidentiary hearing over a couple of days is going to be showtime.

00:32:02.320 Jason Trenner joins us.

00:32:03.960 I need to get Jason as one of the smartest guys.

00:32:06.360 The numbers came out yesterday.

00:32:07.880 A lot of spin from the White House.

00:32:09.420 A lot of spin from our favorite, the Wall Street Journal.

00:32:12.640 So we went to the big guns EJ yesterday, Jason Trenner today, and we're going to get Scott Besson on tomorrow.

00:32:18.660 Jason, I just want to, if Denver can just, in fact, you can block my faces, keep Jason up, and put up the tweet.

00:32:24.880 This tweet, you have helped this audience understand real inflation.

00:32:31.000 You've got, I think, common person inflation, your new index.

00:32:36.780 And I want to explain this chart from what came out yesterday.

00:32:39.300 It doesn't even include, I guess, the PPI.

00:32:41.180 Explain what you mean.

00:32:42.960 Reiterate what your inflation index is of reality.

00:32:46.800 What's happening.

00:32:48.800 And then this tweet, you said, hey, game over.

00:32:53.180 On the inflation debate, game over, Biden loses.

00:32:56.320 Explain all that to us, sir.

00:32:57.420 That's right.

00:32:58.040 Well, listen, what we created is what we call the common man CPI, which are things that people must buy regularly.

00:33:05.560 So it's food, it's energy, it's shelter, clothing, insurance, utilities.

00:33:11.000 It's not what the Bureau of Labor Statistics puts out there, which is core inflation, which excludes food and energy, which, of course, is not particularly relevant to normal people who want to stay warm and eat.

00:33:26.880 Right.

00:33:27.040 That's pretty core for most people.

00:33:28.780 And so what we're doing here is we're showing this, things that people must buy, not discretionary items, versus their wages during the Biden administration.

00:33:39.080 And what you found is that wages have trailed this inflation measure by over 6%.

00:33:45.920 People's standard of living has deteriorated by 6% over the past three years.

00:33:51.880 And so the numbers may be a little bit better than Wall Street expected, but it does not obscure the fact that people are having trouble with the cumulative effects of inflation that are already in place.

00:34:04.820 The level of prices has far exceeded the level of wages over the past three years.

00:34:11.180 Now, Biden is sitting there and saying, well, hold it.

00:34:13.320 Anything that's any part of this is corporate greed.

00:34:15.740 And look, as you know, we're populist nationalists, so we're anti the big corporations from the get-go.

00:34:22.760 But if you look at the PPI, the producer price index, the wholesale numbers that came out the day before, that kills his argument.

00:34:30.360 And it also means more bad news downrange?

00:34:34.740 Yeah.

00:34:35.180 Listen, we are running, Steve, we're running budget deficits that are 7% of GDP at something close to full employment.

00:34:43.100 We have never done that in the post-war period.

00:34:46.780 The only times we run budget deficits of this magnitude were when the unemployment rate was above 7%.

00:34:53.540 Now it's below 4%.

00:34:55.260 The Biden administration is using every tool possible to keep the economy out of recession before the election.

00:35:02.300 So they're using the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.

00:35:05.460 They're using something called reverse repos.

00:35:07.880 They're using the Treasury General account.

00:35:10.000 They're doing, they have canceled student loans, employee retention tax credits, you name it.

00:35:16.520 We're spending money like it's going out of style.

00:35:18.780 To me, that is the reason why inflation is higher than people have expected.

00:35:25.520 There is no coordination between monetary policy and fiscal policy.

00:35:30.140 The Fed has raised rates meaningfully and has started to cut the size of the balance sheet.

00:35:35.100 But without any help from the federal government as far as spending is concerned, it's, in my opinion, it sets up for another wave of high inflation later on down the road.

00:35:45.220 Also, Treasury, I mean, they're doing everything possible to make sure they have a good late summer, early fall so they can go into the presidential election with the best economic news they possibly can get.

00:36:00.360 Are you concerned about refinancing of the debt?

00:36:04.660 Because right now we've got to finance, I guess, a third of the $35 trillion.

00:36:07.740 And Janet Yellen, there's no 10s or 30s.

00:36:11.680 She's doing everything in T-bills, right?

00:36:13.480 What kind of impact is that going to have on inflation?

00:36:15.500 So we have $34.5 trillion in debt total, about $26 trillion that's owed to the public.

00:36:23.260 And while China is issuing 30-year and 50-year bonds, we're issuing most of our bonds in 91 days and less.

00:36:33.900 So a third of our debt matures in the next, actually, three years.

00:36:37.880 A significant portion of our debt matures 34% in the next year.

00:36:42.400 What that means is that interest expense will exceed defense spending by the end of this year.

00:36:46.800 So it's very difficult, unless the Fed starts buying treasuries again, it's going to be very difficult to get the toothpaste back in the tube as far as spending is concerned and deficit spending is concerned.

00:36:58.720 This is a very, very difficult situation for whoever the next president is.

00:37:04.320 And there's going to be the short-sightedness on the part of Janet Yellen, in my opinion, is torching her reputation as an economist. 1.00

00:37:14.240 She had a lot of respect as an economist, as Fed chair, as Treasury secretary.

00:37:19.820 I'm sorry to say that she is essentially throwing caution to the wind and is really doing anything she can to get her client, President Biden, reelected.

00:37:31.960 Now, when she was Fed chair, in fact, under Trump in his first term, she actually did quantitative tightening.

00:37:38.060 Now, people might argue that was a political move to make it harder for Trump's tax cuts and the growth.

00:37:42.280 But she did do a good job of letting the air out of the asset bubble that had been created under Obama to take liquidity off the Fed's balance sheet. 0.98

00:37:53.180 But now she's completely gone, I think, fiscally and monetarily insane. 1.00

00:37:59.020 We just played the clip at the beginning to show the power of this audience, particularly on this lawfare.

00:38:06.800 This audience is engaged.

00:38:08.120 They're making calls.

00:38:08.840 But we've had some guys in the last couple of days, people respect, right?

00:38:12.120 We've had Russ vote.

00:38:13.760 We've had Chip Roy.

00:38:15.100 And there's all this confusion now about the fiscal year that's going to come that President Trump's going to inherit, the 2025 fiscal year, that the budget has to be done by September 30th or the government shuts down.

00:38:26.840 And a lot of people are saying, well, they're trying to de-Trumpify things.

00:38:29.660 What they should do is just do a CR.

00:38:31.320 Here's my point is I've now spent the last 48 hours, as I promised this audience, we would do due diligence.

00:38:37.800 The top line number, the Republicans are creating to a top line number that's going to be over $7 trillion of spending and basically have baked into it at least a trillion and a half dollar deficit.

00:38:50.420 They're going to play some games to show less, but it's going to be a trillion and a half to two trillion.

00:38:55.220 Until the House of Representatives takes a stand, because at 7% GDP, deficit GDP, that doesn't work.

00:39:03.060 You've got to get that below three, don't you?

00:39:04.880 I mean, you've got to immediately try to figure out how to get it below three.

00:39:07.900 Isn't it the responsibility of the Republican House to be the adult in the room here and force a showdown on this?

00:39:14.440 Absolutely. Hosting the House Ways and Means Committee, that means it's their responsibility.

00:39:22.520 And there will be, you know, the bill will come due for this.

00:39:26.960 I think one of the problems with having 12 years of quantitative easing is that it has obscured the real costs of government spending and deficit spending, not only for investors, but also for policymakers.

00:39:41.260 You might remember James Carville in 1994 said, I want to be reincarnated as the bond market because it intimidates everyone.

00:39:48.180 Right now, the Fed has, through its manipulation of prices, has made the bond market toothless.

00:39:55.900 It doesn't scare anyone.

00:39:58.500 And therefore, there is a sense that there are no consequences for this runaway spending that we see.

00:40:05.300 The bill eventually will come due in the form of higher interest rates and higher inflation.

00:40:11.440 And there's almost no way of getting around that, in my opinion.

00:40:16.220 The Oracle of Omaha, you know, Buffett said at the Berkshire Hathaway, he agreed with, he said, look, the political class does not have the courage, the political courage to cut spending.

00:40:25.660 He says, you're going to pay for this three ways, inflation, interest rates.

00:40:29.060 And he brought up, he says, look, at some point in time, you're going to have to have a massive tax increase.

00:40:33.860 And that's going to fall in the middle class.

00:40:35.380 You're going to have to somehow, this is an unsustainable model.

00:40:39.220 And at some point in time, and quite frankly, the near future, we're going to have to pay the due bill.

00:40:44.560 Your thoughts and recommendations to the Republican House?

00:40:48.200 Listen, I think the one thing I would do is have a very significant supply side response, which is there is a chance you can grow your way out of it.

00:40:56.000 And that would include drill, baby drill. 0.96

00:40:58.840 It would be reducing the costs of fossil fuels, which are an extremely efficient source of energy.

00:41:05.400 It would be having perhaps full expensing of capital expenditures, because productivity and capital formation can greatly aid in the growth.

00:41:15.020 So you can grow the numerator if you can't grow the, if you can no longer grow the denominator.

00:41:19.580 You can grow the numerator so that this is not as severe, the bill is not as costly as it would be eventually.

00:41:28.560 But the other thing is we have to get rid of this ridiculous spending jaunt that we're on.

00:41:33.760 It's not helping anyone.

00:41:35.140 It is hurting the working people of this country.

00:41:38.320 There is no more regressive tax than inflation.

00:41:41.080 Wealthy people can hedge it.

00:41:43.480 They can buy all sorts of financial products provided to them by Wall Street firms to hedge out their risks.

00:41:50.100 They have savings.

00:41:51.020 They get higher interest rates.

00:41:52.580 The average person who's just trying to get from one day to the next gets hurt the most by inflation.

00:41:58.560 And right now, the political class is doing nothing, in my opinion, to address these long-term concerns.

00:42:04.780 I think I just saw you say 9 percent, 9.8 percent default on credit cards right now, $1.3 trillion.

00:42:11.380 And the reason is people are trying to gap that every month.

00:42:14.080 And there's 9 percent, 10 percent of your countrymen that can't do it.

00:42:16.920 Jason, thank you so much for explaining this to us.

00:42:19.680 We know everybody, including the president, takes your thinking very seriously.

00:42:23.820 Where do people go to get more and where they go to?

00:42:26.520 I know you've got a fund set up to address this.

00:42:29.400 So our website is www.strategusetfs.com, and my Twitter handle is at Jason Trenner underscore.

00:42:40.740 Brother, thank you so much for coming on.

00:42:42.300 Appreciate it.

00:42:42.860 Thank you, sir.

00:42:44.700 Let's go check it all out, particularly his tweet yesterday.

00:42:47.580 He said, hey, the fight against inflation is over and Biden lost.

00:42:51.740 And if you really get EJ and you get Jason, you get Scott Besson, we're going to have a couple other folks join us, I think, this afternoon to go through this.

00:42:59.400 Look at the real numbers.

00:43:00.800 You understand exactly what's happened here.

00:43:03.160 And you understand you're being lied to.

00:43:05.980 This is why it's incumbent.

00:43:07.620 Just like fighting lawfare, you've got to fight the spending.

00:43:11.960 It is the cruelest tax, the most regressive tax.

00:43:14.540 It's destroying.

00:43:15.260 It's hollowing out the middle class. 0.89

00:43:17.680 It's only going to get worse until we stop.

00:43:19.900 Federal spending is a curse, not a blessing.

00:43:23.400 These federal deficits are a curse.

00:43:26.100 Check it out.

00:44:56.000 That's PatriotMobile.com slash Bannon.

00:44:59.180 Support people that support your values.

00:45:02.260 Support him.

00:45:02.900 And then holding his supporters who voted for him once, twice, and are thinking about it again.

00:45:08.160 They certainly nominated him a third time in our hands and trusting them not to bite it.

00:45:13.700 I mean, how do you do that?

00:45:14.540 Look, I am a well-known Democrat, and I welcome every Republican and Independent who wants to join the coalition to protect American democracy by voting for Joe Biden.

00:45:30.680 This is not the time to settle scores.

00:45:33.260 This is not the time to have petty debates between Americans.

00:45:36.480 This is a time when democracy is at stake, and all hands are welcome in the fight to protect democracy.

00:45:43.640 You know, Nicole, I was thinking about this because you recently had a precious new baby.

00:45:48.740 And 20 and 25 years from now, they will ask you not what the price of gas was, not what was going on with, you know, some television show or some cultural moment.

00:45:59.980 They will ask you what you did when democracy was at stake.

00:46:03.240 Your grandchildren will ask you 50 years from now, what did you do when democracy was at stake?

00:46:09.420 And that's a question that all of us will have to answer.

00:46:12.760 And we all and everyone who is willing to answer that question by saying that they said that at this moment in time, at this need, that they stood up against Donald Trump.

00:46:24.000 And everyone who was part of that will be will be celebrated and everyone who was on the other side will be condemned.

00:46:31.420 That I am sure will be condemned.

00:46:33.400 That's your sure. 0.99

00:46:34.280 OK, let me give you some suck on this. 1.00

00:46:36.580 The polling shows that independents who are kind of a proxy for the American people, because both parties are obviously quite partisan now, that that they by 11 percent, brother, think that Donald Trump's a better custodian of our democracy than Joe Biden. 0.96

00:46:55.960 You saw it again today.

00:46:56.840 Mike Davis, the last time we had a regime get this panicked about something was Eric Holder when when in the was fast and furious.

00:47:09.300 Right. The gun walking when he was going up to Capitol Hill in his town car from justice.

00:47:16.440 Obama came out and exerted executive privilege to protect him.

00:47:20.520 This morning, you had the exact same thing.

00:47:22.980 Did you not panic because they're doing because this audience is on top of people?

00:47:28.680 You had a criminal contempt markup in judiciary this morning.

00:47:32.160 It's going on right now.

00:47:33.080 We're going to cut back to the top of the hour and tonight by oversight.

00:47:36.980 When I think the 15 House members actually get back from New York City, where they're supporting President Trump today on Michael Cohen's second day in the hot box.

00:47:47.580 Mike Davis.

00:47:48.380 Yeah, and this is much worse what Merrick Garland is doing now than what Eric Holder did with Fast and Furious, which was bad enough.

00:47:57.860 What Merrick Garland is doing now, he's trying to cover up the fact that Merrick Garland personally authorized the espionage prosecution against President Trump for the non espionage of a former president,

00:48:13.140 having his presidential records in the office of the former president, which is allowed by the presidential records act.

00:48:20.300 That's why Congress funds the office of the former president with federally funded staff with security clearances, with secure office space, with 24-7, 365 secret service protection.

00:48:31.780 At the same time that Merrick Garland is having Jack Smith go after Trump for espionage, for non espionage, Merrick Garland has protected his boss, Joe Biden.

00:48:43.480 Joe Biden had several stashes of stolen classified records from his time as vice president, even as senator, unguarded for years.

00:48:53.680 Move several times accessible by this Chinese agents that Joe Biden and Hunter Biden had on their payrolls, almost certainly used by Hunter Biden to secure corrupt foreign funding, including from Ukraine.

00:49:09.320 And even Joe Biden admitted that Joe Biden shared these highly classified materials with his ghostwriter for a book for which Joe Biden got an $8 million advance.

00:49:23.020 And this is on an audio tape by Biden special counsel, Robert Herr.

00:49:27.780 Robert Herr, through Garland's, declined to prosecute Biden, even though it's just absolutely espionage.

00:49:35.820 And it's it put our national security in grave risk.

00:49:40.180 President Trump had presidential records in a secure office of former president.

00:49:44.740 Joe Biden shared our most classified secrets with his ghostwriter for the purposes for the purposes of getting those those secrets out there to the public.

00:49:54.920 So Joe Biden could sell his book.

00:49:57.880 And Merrick Garland is trying to cover this up.

00:50:00.960 Merrick Garland is trying to cover up for his boss to protect his boss in an election year while they're prosecuting President Trump, his boss's political rival in an election year.

00:50:10.820 This is absolutely contemptible what Garland has done.

00:50:14.360 It is impeachable what Garland is doing.

00:50:17.600 It is actually criminal what Garland is doing.

00:50:20.480 This is part of a criminal conspiracy.

00:50:22.620 And again, these House Republicans, I commend them for what they're doing today.

00:50:26.500 Keep going.

00:50:27.200 Pedal to the metal.

00:50:28.180 This is our national security at risk.

00:50:31.100 Where is the intel assessment?

00:50:32.380 They they they came up with a bogus intel assessment for records that never leaked in Mar-a-Lago until the Biden Justice Department went and raided Mar-a-Lago.

00:50:41.800 Where's the intel assessment on Biden's damage to our national security?

00:50:44.880 Davis, real quickly, Mike, this letter that was sent by Jordan, that'll be blown off.

00:50:51.760 This is on Calancho.

00:50:52.620 More information, I think, of that is.

00:50:55.040 Are they are is your recommendation they follow immediately when they get blown off in this on a subpoena?

00:50:59.640 And let's get rolling on this.

00:51:00.900 My recommendation is skip the strongly worded letters and issue subpoenas immediately.

00:51:07.840 Right.

00:51:08.100 You can negotiate from a position of strength.

00:51:10.720 When I when I was a litigator in private practice, when I went when I wanted documents, I didn't send emails and letters and beg and ask.

00:51:17.620 I sent subpoenas.

00:51:19.260 Congress has more power than a private attorney.

00:51:21.500 Right. 0.98

00:51:21.700 Send subpoenas, get the damn documents, get the people in chairs for staff depositions, get them in public hearing rooms under the bright lights for public hearings. 0.99

00:51:30.860 And if they try to object, move for contempt. 0.95

00:51:34.060 And if you can't move for contempt right now because House Republicans don't have the votes, then have it ready to go for January 20th, 2025, when the Trump 47 Justice Department is back in office.

00:51:46.800 And then the Trump 47 Justice Department can prosecute this contempt under two U.S.C. 192.

00:51:54.000 And let's let's have some let's have some unmasking.

00:51:56.540 Let's see what Republicans and let's see.

00:51:58.020 It's a tough vote for Democrats.

00:52:00.200 This is a big time tough vote for Democrats.

00:52:02.500 A lot of them in these swing districts.

00:52:05.040 People want to get to the bottom of this thing.

00:52:06.460 They think it's outrageous what's happening.

00:52:08.240 Mike Davis, Article three, particularly your action center.

00:52:11.140 Where do people go?

00:52:12.840 Article three project dot org.
